Had a long weekend with a group of friends. Really impressed with the lodges. Well kitted out and the hot tub was amazing. Walks to do close by but need a car to get to other things. Great for a chilled out break
Lisa from Northampton (16 April 2018)

Lovely clean lodges and hot tub a bonus ! area beautiful and remote . shame games room was a little shabby . but everything else perfect !
Ann from Norwich (06 April 2018)

Wonderful place to stay nice and relaxing
Matthew from Northampton (02 April 2018)

Lodges were ok, not what i’d personally call ‘luxury’. I suppose the hot tub is meant to make it luxury but only if you use it.
Stella from Leicester (26 March 2018)

The caravan was nicely layed out had a lovely time in the hotub it was nice and relaxing the surroundings were very peaceful but we were disappointed that we could not leave the dog in the lodge for a couple of hours so we could go out for a meal but otherwise we had a lovely time
Ray from Sunderland (23 March 2018)

We had a lovely long weekend at athelington hall farm lodges, the hot tub was great, lodges were lovely and clean, we will definitely return.
Julie from Leigh-On-Sea (19 March 2018)

The lodge was super comfy and all we needed was provided
Shirley from Kings Lynn (19 March 2018)

Loved been so secluded with only local shop for supplies so make sure you take everything you need ! really comfortable accommodation with everything we needed, the hot tub was amazing and really well situated for privacy. All in all a very relaxing break for everyone.
Michael from Chesterfield (23 February 2018)

We stayed in the oak original lodge. It was very clean and warm and the hot tub was lovely. we used to stay in the forest holiday lodges but they have really put up the prices, so we chose this and glad we did. Knocked off 1 star because the games room could do with a bit of tlc. The sofa bed looked brand new and was comfy. Central heating worked well. . yes, the forest holiday lodges are bigger and plusher but they are almost twice the price. these lodges are excellent value and are family friendly. I would definitely return.
John from Oswestry (23 February 2018)

It was mine and my partners first holiday together and it was just perfect from start to finish. The staff were so helpful, the games room was fun and the hot tub was just amazing! the location was stunning. The lodge itself was lovely and we really cannot wait to come again. We could not rate this holiday more highly!
Charlotte And Daniel from Chelmsford Essex (23 February 2018)

Had a really lovely stay at athlington hall lodges. Shame the prices are so high in other months. Lovely place to go and have a break. Lodges are well equipped and are of a high standard. Staff are very helpful too.
Jane from Northampton (19 February 2018)

Loved it. Very quiet. Hot tub and lodge perfect and great value for a mini break. Not much to actual do on site other than lovely walks, relaxing a peace and quiet. Trying to rebook already but all full ( not surprised)
Lynn from Nottingham (19 February 2018)

Cliff from Essex (16 February 2018)

Absolutely loved the lodge and it's peaceful surroundings. Total relaxation for 3 nights. It came recommended by a friend and I highly recommend it myself. It was cosy and lush, just what we needed.
Natasha from Halstead, Essex (12 February 2018)

Jay from Lonfon (12 February 2018)

Lovely lodge everything you needed . hot tub was great
Joy from Overstrand (05 February 2018)

Very relaxing stay.
Paul from Lowestoft (02 February 2018)

Lovely lodge, nothing to do in local area, no eating places in the near location, need a car definately, very remote. The cream carpet not good idea with pets in the wintry weather. Hot tub was lovely despite the cover kept blowing off in the wind so hot tub was a bit on the cool side. Small toiletries would of been a nice touch in the bathrooms and robes for the hot tube.
Julie from Essex (29 January 2018)

Had a lovely relaxing stay again
Lorraine from Essex (29 January 2018)

Denise from Birmingham (26 January 2018)

Great lodge. Lovely and clean. Excellent value for a break out of peak season. (jan). fab hot tub, although light not working which was a little inconvenient when using in the evening, however, appreciate owners need to drain the tub to replace, so not a "quick fix". lovely walks. Would definitely return
Dean (22 January 2018)

Fab lodge with everything you might need. helpful staff. thank you
Caroline from Saxmundham (22 January 2018)

We spent 4 days at this site. Not been there before. Had a very restful time. Lodge very good, but a bit tired with a few things not working. However, okay for money paid.
Paul from Lancing, West Sussex. (19 January 2018)

Natasha from Milton Keynes (19 January 2018)

If you want to get away from the world and have a good quiet and relaxing break like me this is the place to go.
Paul (19 January 2018)

We had a really lovely relaxing weekend, with 2 children and 2 dogs. Lots of time spent in the hot tub, and walking in the surrounding fields. The cabin was clean, warm, cosy and well equipped, and the games room was a nice addition.
Sue from Chelmsford , Essex (15 January 2018)

Just as I hoped it would be
Audrey from Colchester (12 January 2018)

Spent the weekend there. such a quite relaxed place to be. Hot tub was a delight. had a slight issue with the tv, but amy was only to happy to help and sort the problem. we took our dog with us, he loved the walk around the fields and enjoyed running around everywhere. . definitely recommend this fir a peaceful relaxing weekend away.
Lee from Long Sutton (08 January 2018)

The lodge was lovely couldn’t of asked for a better lodge and having the hot tub was great we all enjoyed it very much. There isn’t much on site just a games room, but my boys enjoyed that. We were there at the end of december and went for a chilled out weeks holiday and that’s what we got. There isn’t much around there you need to travel to get to places but that’s not what we were there for. The nearest shop (spa) was a 10 minutes drive. Would definitely recommend these lodges
Kerry from Leicester (06 January 2018)

The lodge was spotlessly clean and very well appointed with everything we needed. located on a farm it was very quiet and peaceful. we visited on a cold blowy january week so did not really get the chance to explore the area. it was quite remote from the point of view of shops, pubs which to some is a plus and to some a minus. . we had a lovely time using the hot tub and the break was excellent value. our hot tub lights were not working and although someone came to look at them was not able to fix them so that was a bit of a disappointment. Would definitely visit again but might go for a slightly more expensive cabin with a sauna.
Karen from Harlow (05 January 2018)

Lovely place for a relax and get away from it all. Lovely lodges come with everything you need. Will be returning.
Sarah from Leicester (05 January 2018)

Susan from Crawley (30 October 2017)

Arrived early, but no problem, the very helpful lady on reception said that we could go into our lodge straightaway. the lodge was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable short break. the hot tub was marvelous, also very clean and the games room was a hit with the children. the lodges are in the middle of nowhere, ideal for lots of lovely walks with the dog. would love to go again for a longer stay.

The place itself and the staff are fantastic. Lovely piecefull location. The problem we had was the bed was so massively uncomfortable we ended up leaving early as both of us were in terrible pain. We even tried sleeping on the sofa bed but didn't help. After just one night back home the pain had gone. Shame really as we would have returned. In all holidays, this has never happened, either in uk or abroad.

Lovely quiet peaceful surroundings, actually on a pig farm but no smell or noise emanated apart from last day when there was a very mild whiff, but certainly nothing to worry about. lodge was very clean and well appointed with beds already made up and clean towels. hot tub was a nice addition too.the lodges were fairly modern and were warm and showers worked well. there was an honesty box in the reception where you could buy from the freezer provided, eggs, bacon and sausages. we had eggs and sausages but there was no bacon. there is a book provided in the lodge giving lots of information and there was a small games room and laundry facility too. the. only rule we found confusing was it said keep dogs on leads but in front of the lodges was a large. green and people were letting their dogs off lead. there which was disconcerting as the dog accompanying us was on a lead always and we had. a job to keep him calm when other dogs were. running around him, so think the owners need to. clarify this. this is a very quiet location, out of the . way, which we loved. the small village of eye had. a very well stocked co-op and there are lots of . nice surrounding areas to go for the day. We found. a pub off the a140 at thornham magna, called. the four horseshoes, very pretty thatched. coaching inn but they allowed dogs in the bar area. and we had two meals there. food was tasty and . staff were polite and helpful.

Loved every minute ~ all we wanted was a chilled time away from the world and that's what we got! only one 9 and that's because the hot tub lid was broken making it difficult to manoeuvre on my own coz mum just isn't up to that kind of thing. The owners of the farm were simply lovely!

Anita from Wolverhampton (15 September 2017)

I am very concerned that hoseasons is not clear about the location of this holiday park. Whilst they say it is on a working farm arable? sheep? oh no a pig farm with associated smells and noises. Not great for a restful lie in the hot tub. It states there is wifi. We could only get this for a few mins at midnight. We did not have phone coverage and had no way of finding out about local places to visit or eat. It was also difficult to access through field roads with inadequate signage. We paid additional amount for a dog only to go d a list of fonts with your dog. Don't leave them in the lodge, don't allow them on furniture and don't allow them to run on the field without a lead. If you impose all of these restrictions don't have dogs! one evening we came home to find a very heavy patio table on the top of the hot tub. There was no letter of explanation. As we wanted to use the facility we had paid for my husband had to risk his safety to lift it off the tub. At least the lodge was well appointed and clean though some things need attention. I felt more stressed after the holiday than before.

A beautiful and very quiet location. Perfect if you just want to get away from the "real" world. It is miles away from anywhere which suited us just fine although perhaps a local shop/pub would be nice but not essential for a weekend break, just be sure to take all your supplies with you! hot tub was fab!

Booked this for a few days of peace and quiet, and you certainly get that, if you really want to get away from it all this is ideal, however if you need shops and entertainment this would not be for you. Cabin was well equipped and comfortable, jacuzzi was a nice touch, but could have been a bit hotter for my liking.

A much needed long weekend break. easy access to activities on the broads
Peter from Dover, Kent (15 May 2017)

The log cabin was clean inside and comfortable, outside the steps to the cabin were almost rotting away and was covered in bird droppings.
Anthony from Alford Lincolnshire (12 May 2017)

Lovely surroundings lodge was very clean and well equipped.
Michelle from Essex (17 April 2017)

Had a lovely time here, clean cabin, lovely hot tub, would mist definitely stay here again
Hayley from Crawey (27 March 2017)

Enjoyable and peaceful break. Close enough to shops, but far enough at the same time to be away from the usual. Would return again and recommend.
Tom from Canvey Island, Essez (24 March 2017)

Never saw any staff to comment on helpfulness. unfortunately it was nearly an hour's drive to get anywhere whenever we left site. if the site had been closer to southwold or thetford forest we would definitely have stayed again. the dog walking was extremely convenient.
Jo from York (24 March 2017)

Beautiful setting, lovely walks. Family of 5 plus the dog thoroughly enjoyed it.
Nicola (20 March 2017)

Wpumld ho there back again
Jayne from Birmingham (20 March 2017)

Very pleasant surroundings, have to be careful driving in lanes to and from site, narrow be aware of large tractors .
Trevor from Weston,Herts (17 March 2017)

We had a great time. Very quiet and the deck and hot tub (which we could have on 40 deg) faced south across fields. Great bacon available in reception. A family business and amy was very helpful and pleasant. It's a little bit far from the coast time wise though the mileage isn't high, but if you want a quiet time in a lovely part of the country, go here.
Richard from Surrey (17 March 2017)

Lovely setting. lodges very comfortable and the area around the lodge was spacious and nicely set out. would definately go back for another stay. a thoroughly nice stay enjoyed by all.
Valerie from Colchester (17 March 2017)

Great holiday with lovely countryside all around you. Helpful staff on site. Great to be able to buy fresh farm eggs. Hot tubs with privacy all around you. Would definitely come back
Amanda from Leics (13 March 2017)

Never saw any staff all weekend .walk in shower had a fault which has been going on from 2015 so we couldnt use it. no hot tube check. . bed linen beautifully clean and beds very comfy.
Alan from Whittlesey (13 March 2017)

Very nice setting hot tub was great
Philip from Bodmin (10 March 2017)

As always lovely clean lodge as is the usual standard would recommend to family and friends
Jim (06 March 2017)

Loved every minute, if you want peace and quite and to relax from every day life then this is the place to go, we're back in september!
Sarah from London South East (06 March 2017)

Great place to stay. Couple of minor issues such as not much hot water but nothing major.
Roy (03 March 2017)

Lovely relaxing break
Lisa (24 February 2017)

Had a lovely peaceful stay here
Mark from Ipswich (10 February 2017)

Excellent place to stay
Lee from Stoke On Trent (10 February 2017)

Had the most amazing weekend away with my partner for his birthday last week and we enjoyed every minute of it. The lodge itself was fully equipped with everything you'd possibly need and the hot tub and sauna were the icing on top. the location was a bit far away from everything but we didn't mind that at all. The staff were helpful when we checked in but then did not see them after that at all and we had a problem with our hot tub and we wasn't able to get hold of anyone but thankfully the hot tub sorted itself out. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone and will definitely be returning. Great romantic weekend away.
Chloe from Chelmsford, Essex (06 February 2017)

Just what was required, quiet, relaxing and comfort.
Peter from Cleethorpes (03 February 2017)

Lodge was really well equipped with everything you need. Central heating worked extremely well. The location is set away for a peaceful break but within driving distance of shops and pubs.
Kerry (27 January 2017)

Great stay. Could improve the games room.
Katherine from Stowmarket (23 January 2017)

Total relaxation, very quiet park, lovely lodges, superb hot tub..
Stephen from Northampton (20 January 2017)
