Caravan was not new and not insulated. We stayed there end of october. In de morning evering in de bedroom and the doors and windows was wet because of condensation. for the rest everything was ok. Only a pitty that the indoor swimmingpool was closed.
Wil from Westerhaar, The Netherlands (30 October 2017)

Caravan was dirty , had to clean it on arrival ,first night there was a police raid , we paid for three nights and only lasted one night
Karen from Hemel Hempstead (02 October 2017)

There seem to be several facilities, but we did not use them. Guess because of the facilities, the park is rather noisy. We had a caravan not that far from the entertainment area, so it was a bit noisy with people talking and shouting loudly when passing by the caravan (up to around 1 am). we had several complaints about things in the caravan and part of them were solved rather quickly, but could easily have been avoided so it would not have come to complaints. The car cannot be parked next to the caravan but in a central parking area (what was a bit of problem for us). location is fine. Luckily we did not spent that much time on the park nor in the caravan, only at night. Overall, we would not stay here again.
Conny from Leeuwarden, The Netherlands (25 September 2017)

Long wait for food
Deborah (25 September 2017)

The heating broke, and with having an 8 week old baby it was very frustrating and cold. The cookers knobs where broke and we had to light the gas using a lighter, this is also not good with having a newborn baby with the smell of gas lingering and very unsafe! . the caravan was very clean, you did get what you did for your money. And the staff are extremely friendly. The location for wasn't as nice as we thought and was told during booking. We didn't feel it was very friendly or much to do in the local area so we traveled to other beaches 40minutes away and those towns seemed very nice and friendly.
Carrie from Oxfordshire (22 September 2017)

Apart from other visitors being noisey and the resturant the food wasn't very good value for money and that's if they had the food that we wanted apart from that it was a beautiful caravan and staff were amazing
Lauren from Gillingham (01 September 2017)

It was our first caravan holiday n we loved it and it was so cheap . the weather n location was fantastic! thank you. J
Janet from London (28 August 2017)

It was lovely and relaxed. It wasn't too busy which is great for my add daughter and plenty for my 7yr old. Not much for older kids to do. Restaurant was a bit disappointing and over priced. Staff and entertainers were all friendly and helpful
Leanne from Kent (25 August 2017)

Camp facilities limited, lack of entertainment staff although those there did work hard to paper over problems
John from Bexley (21 August 2017)

My dad paid for this holiday for me and my family and wehad a very warm welcome despite the weather when we arrived. The caravan was lovely and the pool was good if anything a bit cold. The kids loved playing outside in the ball court and around the site. The only things I would mention are the difference in drink prices and sizes for instance I paid for 3 cordials at 50p each and they were small cups then I paid for one at 50p and it was a pint plastic cup. And also maybe the entertainment leaflet needs to be revised as activities such as the sand art and pottery said they had no charge on them (no icon next to them to imply a charge) but they were in fact chargeable. The staff were lovely and in the blackout in the clubhouse we were in the amusements and the staff were very good at keeping everyone calm. A special mention to the trouper called charlie he was very good in the party dances and put me through my paces with my daughter even though I didnt know them I kept up. We very much enjoyed our holiday with you and would come again
Kevin from Chatham (12 August 2017)

The staff were pleasant. The caravan had several things either missing or not working and was generally unkempt.
Donna (11 August 2017)

The resort was ok shame you couldn't get down to the beach the entertainment wasn't very good and there wasn't a lot of food outlets
Angela from Birmingham (11 August 2017)

Peaceful and relaxing holiday. Spacious comfortable caravan. Friendly helpful staff.
Marjorie (05 August 2017)

All was good staff very friendly and helpful
Mukul from London (04 August 2017)

Good surroundings, but could do with more on site for the kids to do.
Matthew (04 August 2017)

We had a good time staying in witham caravan which is a wider caravan. All staffs are friendly. We will come back in the future.
Guifang (31 July 2017)

Not enough to do. Pool not open early enough. Food not worth as much money paid for. Children walking round in groups swearing at each other. Caravan was great.
Margaret from Slough (31 July 2017)

Park was good but the caravan was in need of a lot of maintenance, paid for a 2 bed gold but was more like a bronze or standard.
Sian from Mid Wales (29 July 2017)

We really enjoyed our holiday. The van was perfect and very clean. Loads of storage space and beds made up on arrival. we went the week before the school holidays so very quiet & relaxing. We more or less had the pools to ourselves. Both pools were heated to perfection not much of a sea view from where we were but if you walk down a little way it is beautiful. No beach access as there has been a landslide so fenced off now, but it does not detract from the site itself, which again was very clean & lovely to walk round. Yes we would recommend, although if you are looking for a big family entertainment site this is not for you.
Carol from Colne (24 July 2017)

Lovely caravan site and caravan. Some of the staff were very friendly. Others not so much. . could have used a little more entertainment for the kids.
Donna from Falkirk (17 July 2017)

Very relaxing break good holiday site, in the middle of nowhere so need a car
James from London (19 June 2017)

Overall stay at your park was way beyond my expectations all perfect , good people lovely atmosphere, and great friendly staff . thank you for having us and see you soon again.
Karol from London (19 June 2017)

Very nice staff and clean suroundings site and vans good club for kids and swimming pool set well for families
Bryn (15 May 2017)

Perfectly adequate for our requirements. Short stay of 3 nights. We travelled with two dogs and needed to take a break before we went to northumberland. Nice park across the road, perfectly suited for dogwalking. We did not use any of the facilities, but the park environment was fine. Overall, we would recommend it for a stay. The description mentioned that there is no access to the beach, which was ok for us. You will definitely need a car/bike to get around and for going shopping.
Inga from Germany (24 April 2017)

Awful place. Young children brawling and swearing and bullying other children in the play park. Unorganised check in very late into vans which were not very nice, no heating, pool was ok but lifeguard very rude and obnoxious. Entertainment was ok but all round not a pleasant experience. Won't be back.
Selina (17 April 2017)

Overall a very enjoyable stay but was let down by the fact that the swimming pool was not open after 4pm only for bookable events . because we tend to go out during the day to visit local attractions we did not use this facility which was a bit of a let down this should be looked at.we made enquiries with on site staff who said they would welcome the chance to use the pool themselves after work if it was open later.
Neville from Spalding (14 April 2017)

The park is clean and all of the staff were very friendly. The only thing that lets the park down is the lack of facilities. You can hire some small gold clubs for he basic crazy golf but nothing else for the children other than the arcade and the pool. I would stay here again as it was very good value if money as got a deal on the price. I would probably feel differently had I paid full price.
Rob from Aylesbury (07 April 2017)

The site was lovely but a shame about the club house. we went for dinner at around 6.00 pm, the music was so loud you could not hear yourself think! I like backround music but that was stupidly. . then we come to the food. my meal was fine, save that they advised me they had run out of mango chutney, but then I realised I was suppose to get a samosa with my meal, which was forgotten. however, my husband's fish and chips was ridiculous, about 7 chips and the smallest piece of fish I have ever seen for £10.00 really!. we complained the waitress and she said she will speak to the kitchen, but she never came back, so my husband went to the bar to speak to her and she said she will try and sort it out, again she never came back to us. I had seen other fish and chip meals coming out looking much bigger and more realistically in line with the price paid. so we loved the site, staff in the office just shame about club house.
Sandra (03 April 2017)

Our caravan was one used for dogs, we have a dog so expected it not to be perfect. We didn't expect it to have a very smelly vomit stain on the sofa or all the crockery and cutlery to need a good wash. Housekeeping clearly not a priority. We ate once at the cafe. It was september and not exactly full. Our food didn't arrive for 45 minutes. When I asked after it, I was told they didn't have exactly the bread rolls for our hotdog and burger. No one had come to tell us or ask if we'd like to change the order. The staff all seemed very young, no slur on young staff but they do need a mature supervisor. Maybe theirs was off sick that day. Other than that, when the water mains broke, we were not informed and had to go to ask why there was no water. I don't blame the staff for the water mains break but to not inform people is negligent. We were given some small bottles of water. Whilst the staff were friendly and pleasant and the area was very nice, I wouldn't go there again.
Elaine from High Wycombe (26 September 2016)

The food was very dear and they closed the bar very early on wendesday as there was nobody in it not very good as we were on holiday
Linda from Epsom (09 September 2016)

Very crowded park with caravans close to each other. Facilities are unclean and very little. Very expensive for the facilities provided. Unfortunately this is not a place I would visit again. Caravans are very close to the entertainment centre and so very noisy not for families at all. Very difficult to sleep.
Sundar (29 August 2016)

The food quality is extremely poor all frozen packaged food, breakfast and dinner was lower than a wetherspoons standard. Pool times not kept to timetable life guard at pool very unhelpful and face like thunder. Very hot whilst I was there and outside pool wasn't open to late in the day although kept asking. Accommodation was fine overall ok break but would choose another park in future even on site shop ran out of bread and stuff we needed.
Andrea (15 August 2016)

A very basic caravan with some upgrading needed but it was just a base to sleep. The pool and site were clean and tidy and helpful friendly staff.
Damien from Hull (15 August 2016)

Was ok but could have been better the entertainment was good on the sat night but went a bit downhill after that. Clubhouse not very big but was ok. Beach not that near not within walking distance. Overall a small site but we didn't use the pool so cant say about that.the amusements were small too. Food we had was ok.lots of teenagers about and they were very noisy at times fighting each other ect.
Moira (13 August 2016)

Nice place to go on a budget, lovely staff, lots for the kids to do and great view of the bay.
Nicolle from Leeds (12 August 2016)

Overall was good but for some rats walking around.
Paulo from London (12 August 2016)

Lovely place and staff. Biggest downside was the disabled toilet was blocked for the entire week with a number of wheelchair users staying. This made it difficult when taking my disabled son to the toilet but overall we adapted and still enjoyed our stay.
Brett from Rye (05 August 2016)

I felt that there were too many people that owned or lived in the caravan park which made it seem ruled by those people. We also had arguing and the police outside our caravan on one night also they should place people with young babies further away from the clubhouse we had extremely loud music every night until late and we have a 17 week old. But our son enjoyed it and that's all that matters but I won't be returning
Aimee from Southampton (05 August 2016)

We had a fab holiday, we are all different ages, the caravan way lovely and the site was lovely, staff very friendly and helpful :)
Leanne from Hampshire (29 July 2016)

We had a lovely time. Weather and view of sea beautiful. Staff friendly.
Mairi from Glasgow (18 July 2016)

Accommodation was very poor
Mark from Southend (15 July 2016)

Would not go again, site dirty nappies on grass 3 days.pots and spoones not clean, bed uncomfortable needs upgrading.
George from Sheffield (08 July 2016)

Lovely landscaped and quiet park and rural location.
Mark from Rye (20 June 2016)

Wasn't to bad and wouldn't have expected more bearing in mind the cost of the holiday.
Michael from London (13 June 2016)

Clean and tidy campsite with friendly and helpful staff. location is down narrow roads well away from nearest pub or shop. there is no access to the beach. the pool was too small for the site. it is approx. 5m x 10m and only 1m deep. Too many in the pool for safety. could not see bottom due to either water cleanliness or too many people. outside pool is tiny. site shop is tiny but well stocked with basic essentials.

Not the best location for me, but the site was good and parking was near to the caravan.

The worst caravan I have stayed in the smell was horrendous asked for a caravan where no dogs had been smelt like wet dirty dog. Venue never seen the characters on which is the whole point of going to a park resorts. Would not recommend this holiday park to anybody. Requested a highchair took 3 days to be delivered no pass's in introduction pack on arrival. Parking horrendous due to residents multiple parking.

The only reason I have given the facilities 8 is because the pool wasn't open in the mornings as it was not high season. would have liked to swim in the mornings as we were out and about during the afternoons when the pool was open.

Lovely weekend. Stayed in a bronze. Very clean, only negative was bedrooms cold at night and that was in september! also oven was ancient and didn't work properly. Site was very clean, staff friendly. Pool clean. Kids loved go karts (bit rusty though!) overall lovely weekend and would go again !

Had bronze 2 as had dogs so caravan was little worn as to be expexted. However the carbon monoxide detector was faulty and only dource of heating was gas fire. The park grounds were maintained with lovely view over sea. Facilities were ok though limited. Meals from the cafe bar were pricey and the size and quality of them did not reflect this. Entertainment team were ok ish

Caravan was dirty and stunk, oven and hob would not light had to go out to find matches late at night so we could cook dinner. Tv looked like it was wiped over with a dirty dish cloth, which we had to clean tv lead was hooked through cupboard handle. Caravan had no number so was hard to find. Caravan next to us had an open bag of rubbish that was still there at the end of our stay. I would like to know why we have to have a sub standard caravan just because we have a dog witch we had to pay £30 for??. as for recommending this van or site not a chance in hell. . yours bob

Overall lovely place to stay. Very peaceful and quiet. Caravan was nice and clean. My only criticism would be that the on the one time we asked for something for the caravan at reception this wasn't done and no apology was given. Also the pool table was ripped and unplayable. However we would stay there again as really good value for money.

The staff behind the bar were less than helpful when it came to ordering food. There were no opening times other than 'til late'. we were then told that this meant 8pm and we couldn't order food despite the fact it wasn't actually 8pm yet! also better security is needed in the arcade as we witnessed some youths rocking the machines to steal money!

Caravan was lovely but not a lot on the site or nearby but we went for a relaxing weekend which this site was perfect, would not take kids as I feel they would get bored but nice site for relaxing and excellent value for money.

Caravan was wonderful but location in middle of nowhere not suitable for people that don't drive. The shop is dirty and has literally nothing in it. Bar well over priced and food is over priced and inedible. entertainment was just ok

Not enough staff, we witnessed a lifeguard serving food to customers. Times given in childrens entertainment guide are 100% inaccurate.
Julie from Sunderland (29 August 2015)

When we arrived we had a dirty caravan and shower was broken and part of the seatee was broken. Pool was dirty and cold. Electric kept going off all over the campsite. Washing machines were broken and tumble dryers. Broken benches near the park. Small park and not a lot for children to do on the campsite. Cigarette ends all over the campsite on the ground. Would not recommend to anyone.
Kirsty from Guernsey (29 August 2015)

It was the worst holiday ever. Ok the weather did not help,as it rained all week. But it was a nightmare holiday, the site was so boring with nothing to do.they make out there is lots to keep you busy, but there is not.

After reading many bad reviews I was very concerned about this site .but I need'nt have worried it was a perfect site for my two young boys aged 4 & 8 the clubhouse was perfect not too big so I could keep an eye on my children at all times weather it be on the park or dancefloor .we had some good days out to margate and surrounding areas . the only thing I was dissapointed in was the pool clock has smashed & instead of getting a new one they'd put clingfilm over it. . I wouldn't reccomend this site for anyone with teenagers as theres not enough for them to do .but if you have little people theres plenty & a great entertainment team starting early with kids clubs and working very late in the evening
Nicola from Woodbridge (22 August 2015)

Very dirty caravan, dispite the staff sending someone in to clean again, I ended up cleaning it myself. Pool water very murky. Oven unable to use . no plugs for sinks. Boliers always turned out after use. Missing curtain pannel for living area (where we slept). we were lucky to be able to leave the site daily and visit farms, diggerland etc.
Emma from Harlow, Essex (22 August 2015)

Caravan was very clean and so was the surrounding park. Club was also clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Beach was about 10 minutes drive and is sandy. The park is down a small country lane about a mile with passing places, so if your not confident on small roads its probably not the place for you. The pool is very good, the only one thing I could criticize is every time it rained the pool closed all together. Because it was linked to the outside pool the water temperature dropped which meant they had to close, which is something we could of done with my 3 children to keep them occupied. If they could solve this would be great.

Minimum things to do , the pool was too small inside for the amount of people on state , a stupid little crazy golf , only ever saw one character , had to get out of pool after ten min cause some one had been sick in the hot tub , we were the only ones on there .... so can not have been cleaned or checked from the last swim session just nothing to do there

Staff in reception we're really unhelpful and clueless about local area. Would have preferred an honest answer of I don't know then the lies they said. Lifeguards and bar staff were great as were the site team when we had a blonde moment.
Customer 121 from Milton Keynes (08 August 2015)

We enjoyed a pleasant value for money family holiday. Caravan was clean, plenty for kids to do on site and no issues with the bar/restaurant service. Be aware the site is fairly noisy throughout the evening so not the best option if looking for a peaceful get away from it all holiday. However when matters got unnecessarily intrusive security responded quickly to any concerns.

Over priced food, cold hard chips, iceland frozen steak pies, over priced drinks, arcade machines that malfunction every five minutes, half of the bar staff had faces like thunder, and on top of that someone trying to get into our caravan at 11.30 at night when we had 3 kids and a new born and our dog asleep. Offered a rubbish upgrade, and no form of compensation whatsoever. Night security staff were amazing, the reception girls were polite and as helpful as they could be.

On arrival on the site we were given the wrong location for our caravan , there was someone already in that caravan amd they didn't look amused at us trying to get in it . on returning to the reception we were told we had been told the wrong location by a new member of staff ,the right location was next to the cleaners caravan and it was a eye sore not only that , at 8.30am in a morning the staff arrive and thus let's shout to each other from our cars commenced for approx 30 mins then they got out the cars to shout at each other whilst they got the cleaning equipment from the caravan,on the first night we ate in the clubhouse , big mistake , I returned my fish as it wasnt cooked in the middle it was still cold/frozen , I was assured the chef had used a probe when the 2nd meal arrived .i should have been offered more than a replacement meal !! .i would not recommend this site to anyone .
