The surroundings were amazing do beautiful. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The lodge and hot tub perfect. The beds were very comfortable. We are definitely going back there.
Linda (27 August 2018)

Absolutely brilliant.
Andrew (20 August 2018)

We are a mature couple that was looking for a romantic getaway. The argyll lodges provided everything we needed in a tranquil setting. The only problem was we stayed only 3 nights. The next time we plan to stay for a week. . 5 star accommodation. They have thought of everything. . you won’t be disappointed staying here.
Dana from Belgium (13 August 2018)

The lodge was the perfect size for our party of four adults, two children and two dogs. the secure outside area was particularly useful for the dogs. the view of the loch and scenery was just beautiful and we all loved the hot tub. there are marked walking and cycling routes directly from the site into the forest. we also enjoyed a meal at the pub in arrochar, which allowed dogs.
Michelle from Leeds (10 August 2018)

Absolutely loved it. Cabin was clean and cosy. Great staff - very welcoming and friendly. Would love to return with my dogs one time!! highly recommended.
Zoe from Newbald (16 July 2018)

Log cabin was very clean .. a little more worn than forest holidays sherwood.. we were very disappointed with our hot tub .. while it was very clean it had very little bubbles .. when asked at reception about this I was told it was because they have to have them on a quiet setting (the hot tub in sherwood was fab !) .. I think the hot tubs were maybe old and not running properly .. we booked this especially for the nice massage hot tub which we did not get ..if you just maybe want a hot soak then this would be ok for you .
Jenny from Swinton South / Yorks (13 July 2018)

We had s wonderful time and will be coming back
Jane from Shaw (06 July 2018)

Lovely location for a long weekend. After a busy few weeks at work it was ideal for chilling out with the family. Looking to book up again.
Gillian from Dunbar (11 June 2018)

The views are stunning! the lodges are really comfortable. Great for dogs as there’s plenty of room and no carpets to worry about muddy paws ruining! so quiet and peaceful.
Wendy from Cleator (08 June 2018)

Brilliant holiday. Lodge could have some minor updating but nothing major and had no impact on our holiday. Friendly staff helped when I was ill part way through the week. Lovely views and base location.

Spent mon - fri in a golden oak lodge (no 9) with teenagers and grandparents. All had a very relaxing time and especially enjoyed the hot tub. The surroundings are breath taking and we enjoyed long walks around the loch. I would say that the lodge requires upgraded and the furniture replaced to bring it up to the standard for the price paid.

Lovely scenery a day lodge was amazing although getting tired. Had previously spoken to central team and the site staff and said it was a special anniversary after a difficult time and a special greeting would be waiting for us but nothing at all which was disappointing.

Lodges were lovely when we first started coming here. Now they are tired looking and in need of a refurbishment. Kitchen area was grotty and hot tub had parts missing. For the prices being charged, there is much better and more luxurious accommodation out there. The area is beautiful and there is stunning scenery around the park however not all lodges benefit from a nice view.
Mel from Glasgow (25 September 2017)

We have stayed here twice now. We had a lovely time but we would have preferred to have had a cabin with a wood burner. We didn't realise that we wouldn't have one and came prepared but were disappointed that our golden oak didn't gave one this time.

Had a great weekend at these lodges. Very relaxing and quiet. All staff were extremely helpful, apart from a member of staff working in the cafe on the saturday night. She was very rude to myself and my family, we only wanted a takeaway coffee but it was so much hassle for this member of staff as they were closing in 15mins. She was very rude. Overall we had a great time

Had a great time and everything was amazing! the only downfall was the dishwasher didn't seem to actually clean the dishes so ended up having to do everything by hand! other than that everything was perfect, beautiful surroundings especially whilst in the hot tub!!
Jessica (07 August 2017)

Had a fantastic holiday. I feel that the wifi should be free as the holiday was quite pricey and I would expect wifi to come with the price - alongside movies. . we had a problem with the hot tub, however, it was dealt with promptly.

Stayed in the golden oak 3. Amazing spot on the very front of the loch with amazing views while sitting in the hot tub. Spot was also good for taking the dog straight out. My only gripe is that we could not park the car directly at the door which would have been helpfull for unload and loading of the cars so for that reason took it down to a 9/10 from 10/10. We were camping the week before and had quite a lot of stuff. Once inside though the place was perfect, overlooking loch and mountains. Staff helpfull and accomodated us with a larger table during a meal and quiz night for my nephew's birthday after a day of fishing. We ordered a bit late so had missed the cut off time for ordering food by quite a bit and they still made us some pizza and chips to take away, thanks! we went round the wooded areas and a couple of the bike paths. These are great for everyone whether cycle, walk, jog or take dog out walking along river etc. Stunning!

First impressions so not selling it to me the grass between the lodges is long and over grown so straight away that makes the place look grubby and also the decking could do with a good clean all the decking is covered in green slim not a nice area for sitting

Cabin was very poorly maintained. The surfaces were very dirty in all rooms there was mouldy in the kitchen and bathrooms. There was a lot of dust on the floor in the bedrooms there was rubbish and dirty washing from previous guest under the beds and wardrobes. The hot tub was not cleaned or checked throughout our stay. Very disappointing, will not be booking again.
Leanne from Greenock (19 June 2017)

Excellent holiday and both lodges superb!!
Michael from St. Helens (19 June 2017)

Spent a family holiday at argyll lodges arrochar, lodges are fantastic. They're clean, spacious and very well equipped. Hot tub was fab. We'll definitely be back.
Karen from North Lanarkshire (09 June 2017)

I've been visiting arrochar for over 20 years and love the village and surrounding areas. since the arrival of the lodges on this site a large number of trees have been planted and this increases each years. My only criticism is that the beautiful scenery will soon be blocked out. There is also a major increase in midges which spoils being in the hot tub.
Sharon from York (09 June 2017)

Excellent location and easy to find
Andy from Barrow In Furness (26 May 2017)

Very disappointed for the money we paid !! there was broken blinds in the large bedroom a large gap at the front door which we had to roll up a towel to stop the draft coming through the door . the shower room the door handel was falling off on the actual glass shower door and the whole place was cover in dust .my husband and I had a log cabin through ur company last year in a different location and the standers were much higher . and we paid for a late check out on the date of leaving and the maid was at our door at 10 I explained we had a late check but all the fresh linen was left at the door most disappointed!!!!!! we did mention this to the reception and for the repair they were going to send a work man to the logged but I did think this was acceptable while we were in the lodge
Linda from Dunfermline (19 May 2017)

Great weekend in may. sunshine and a great lodge to stay in
Robert from Livingston (08 May 2017)

Fantastic! scenery was breathtaking and cabin was beautiful well laid out and stylish x
Nicola from Lanark (08 May 2017)

Beautiful location for a reboot from reality, tranquil setting with the argyll coast close by. Well maintained pretty site, lovely cabins & additional touches from the forest retreat like delivery of hot food & fresh baked goods to your cabin. Top marks.
Andrea from Wolverhampton (21 April 2017)

Great location & staff excellent
Michael from Motherwell (10 April 2017)

We had a lovely few days at argyll lodges. the location is fairly remote (as you'd expect), and the peace and quiet were just what we needed. the staff were extremely welcoming, and there were basic provisions and meals available to buy.
Caroline from York (10 April 2017)

Beautiful place to relax and unwind, the hot tub is a must and great to relax in after a day out. lots to do for the active person and great for dog lovers as dogs are made welcome with lots of doggie treats in the on site shop.
Mary from Lochmaben (31 March 2017)

We stayed in golden oak 24 was a suprise to find we had to pay for wood and after 50 pounds worth of logs over the weekend we were still without on sunday after the reception had closed there was none
Nathan from Paisley (20 March 2017)

Heaven on earth xx
Liz from Motherwell (17 March 2017)

Great break been before at different site love it
Georgina from Falkirk (10 March 2017)

We had a brilliant holiday which was much needed. Our only disappointment was the fact that there was no dvd player and the cost you charged for both wifi and the movies
Peter from Newcastle Upon Tyne (03 March 2017)

We were welcomed in and things were explained very well and what activities were going on during the week and also a brief description on what the weather was going to be like. Lovely lodges also.
Robert from Whitby (24 February 2017)

Had a fab time lodges were amazing so comfortable and had everything we needed hot tub was a bonus can't wait to go back
Margo from North Lanarkshire (27 January 2017)

Fantastic holiday and couldn't fault a single thing
Garry from Linwood (13 January 2017)

Paid £35 for wi-fi..a bit steep especially when sky sports didnt work.no discount was offered!!!
William from Prestwick (15 August 2016)

Quite expensive. Same lodge was available for a far cheaper price if i'd have waited before I booked. Very quiet and peaceful with not much to do. They really need to employ someone to cut the grass.
Graeme from Glasgow (20 June 2016)

Girls weekend away. Clean and spacious lodge, had all the kitchen equipment we needed. Hot tub was fab.
Jill from Edinburgh (20 June 2016)

A little disappointed, it was very remote for us, the midgets were too much they also bit, we came home covered in bites. Nice walks if you can do them. Would like to try another part of scotland. No fault with lodge & service, I did think the price was too high with all the insurances added on.
Christine from Doncaster (17 June 2016)

Fles in the sofas disgusting not clean at all
Michael from Newcastle (10 June 2016)

Absolutely had a fantastic time here. The staff were wonderful and the facilities are excellent. Well worth the money. Hot tub was amazing.
Corrinne from Grangemouth (16 May 2016)

Just what we were looking for nice and quiet very relaxing. Really enjoyed it.
Angela from Dunoon (13 May 2016)

Fantastic lodges in stunning setting great staff from reception to housekeeping . really can't fault anything i'll definitely be back.
John from North Ayrshire (09 May 2016)

The scenery was beautiful, the lodge was comfortable and homely. the hot tub was brilliant and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. the shower head was leaking and when we contacted staff to report it, it was replaced within 30 minutes. we would definately go back to this little piece of heaven.
Nan from Turnberry (25 April 2016)

Had an amazing time at this fab lodge - it was a pet friendly lodge so didn't expect a pristine lodge but sofa etc could have been a bit cleaner ewer. Beds were comfortable and the hot tub with that amazing view more than made up for it and all the rest of the facilities could not be faulted
Scott from Glasgow (25 April 2016)

Great location super views and walks
David from Dumfries (14 March 2016)

Amazing holiday, only downside was no dvd player but other than that it was a very relaxing and fun trip!
Ainsley from Bishopton (14 March 2016)

Nat from Ripon (07 March 2016)

Had a fantastic time. Staff polite, helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay again.
Claire from Barrhead, Glasgow (22 February 2016)

Great lodges in a beautiful setting. We got good value for money as we went out of season, however, prices for high season are very high! would definitely go again.
Lisa from Sheffield (12 February 2016)

Loved the surroundings and the lodge was lovely and cosy;)
Mj (08 February 2016)

Had a lovely time. the weather was terrible though! the path to the lodge was a total disaster, ankle deep in mud and very slippery. loved it and would request the lodge we had again.
Mary from Paisley (08 February 2016)

The check in process was fast and easy even though we were early. We were given helpful information about breakfast and morning papers etc. A member of staff called round the cabin after about 2 hours to check we had settled ok, I would like to note that at this point it was raining heavily yet he still ventured out to ensure we didn't need anything. The location/cabin grounds were excellent, though a little wet, and provided lovely scenery to walk in. Didn't use the facilities on site though they seemed good.
Scott from Glasgow (01 February 2016)

Beautiful clean lodge in gorgeous surroundings hot tub was fab. Would recommend. Staff were helpful and friendly
Sandra from Northumberland (08 January 2016)

Wow! what a place. From the moment we arrived we found the staff to be helpful, friendly and informative, yet discreet as we hardly saw them around by the lodges which was perfect as we wanted our own piece of quiet luxury for two. . this was our honeymoon and it couldn't have been better, it was truly perfect. . the scenery in argyll is breathtaking and I don't feel like I got to see enough so we will be returning, in the near future. . we tried out the room service to our lodge and even that was great and quick, the food is reasonably priced but alcohol is a little more costly a bottle of wine was £11.99 and a cheeseburger £2.59 which the hubby said was lovely. The lodge is full of everything you'd expect from a home away from home, it's comfortable and cosy plus very spacious I could happily live there. Each of the lodges are staggered so no one overlooks you its just wonderful.
Heather from Birmingham (08 January 2016)

Very peaceful and enjoyable, perfect to get away from it all, and best part is, it's only an hour from home
William from Hamilton (04 January 2016)

Fantastic weekend away. Not much shops outside the park but that was fine as I didn't want to leave the lodge anyway. They were beautiful and clean. I will definitely be booking to stay here again.
Nicola from Stonehaven (14 December 2015)

Fab holiday, fab location and lovely accommodation.
Gavin from Grimethorpe (27 November 2015)

Besides the water shortage and internet problem we enjoyed our stay the lodge was perfect for our stay plenty of room and heating was excellent we will be back again god willing.we are thinking of callander next year.
Joeseph from Irvine (20 November 2015)

Michael (09 November 2015)

This was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable holidays I and my wife have ever had. Surroundings/staff/lodge all first class.
Peter from Swansea (16 October 2015)

Lodge was beautiful! went with a few friends, never realised we were being loud (nobody came over to tell us) due to speaking over the hot tub noise. Next morning a staff member on his caddie thing came over and told us there had been complaints. Fair enough we didn't realise and apologised but instead of him saying try and keep the noise down he was arrogant and even threatened us with the police!! was very very rude and threatening not how to treat paying guests!!
Sarah from Dundee (21 September 2015)

Wonderful, peaceful, relaxing. weather could have been better but typical of scotland.
Sharon from Edinburgh (06 July 2015)

Extremely quiet with lots of beautiful scenery. . . staff were extremely helpful and couldn't for enough for you. Fresh bread baked daily to purchase, papers can be delivered to the cabin. . . wifi and movies in cabin at an extra fee, but definitely worth it. . . if you are looking for a quiet escape from the world this is definitely the place. Lots of activities and nature walks if that's what you are looking for. . dog friendly. A wee shop that stocks practically everything you could need.
Vicki from Greenock (03 July 2015)

The location was superb. The lodge had wonderful views. The staff were friendly and helpful. The lodge was well equipped and the hot tub wonderful.noisy neighbours had to be asked at 2am in the morning to be a little quieter and we had no further problems. We thought the media package a little expensive for what it was. It maybe should have included sky movies for that price. Thank you
Jackie from Kirby Misperton, North Yorkshire (26 June 2015)

Loved the lodge. Underfloor heating and a hot tub. Mountains were amazing.

The lodge was lovely and well designed. Hot tub also great. Activities expensive for families and not always on as described ie fishing and canoeing not on, also there is little close by in terms of activities for kids. Enjoyed some beautiful walks and visited inveraray and balloch castle at loch lomand. Site itself clean and quiet..perfect for relaxing break. Dogs and kids enjoyed too. Staff very helpful and mid week quiz night was fun at the retreat.

I went away with my friends and we had a wonderful time. The weather wasn't great, but it didn't have a negative impact; we still went in the hot tub!

We had an excellent time at the lodge, peaceful and relaxing, firstly and the only fault was the lodge was cleaned either with a dirty mop or cloth before we arrived and it was a bit smelly, but the helpfull staff dealt with this immediately,

We reported someone trying to gain access on the last night in the early hours of the morning and the response we had was we will make a note of it. So not only did we lose a nights sleep with worry but the staff at reception didn't help at all. I find this a shame as the cabin was lovely and its location.
Michael from Gateshead (16 February 2015)

Great location, great staff, average relaxing stay.
