Beautiful lodge, beautiful location on the lake, couldn't fault it, will go again
Lorraine from Wales (07 October 2016)

The lodge has everything you need. It's a lovely peaceful setting. Just as good the second time round.
Philip (03 October 2016)

Absolutely fabulous break! been a few times and will definitely be back.
Lauren from Stoke-On-Trent (30 September 2016)

Fantastic! lovely place, beautiful lodge and surroundings, nice and peaceful. Would definitely recommend this place.
Tara from Bristol (30 September 2016)

Cadnant lodge was the perfect place to visit for a relaxing family holiday. The lodge and surroundings are beautiful. Whilst isolated and peaceful it is only a short drive to every amenity you might need. The only reason I scored 9 instead of 10 for location is because it was sometimes a little far away from north wales' main attractions. . that being said I would highly recommend this lodge and would like to thank the lodge owners for such a wonderful stay
Amy from Essex (24 September 2016)

Great location. Great accommodation. . perfect for a getaway. No mobile signal, but thats not always a bad thing. . lakeside location very relaxing.
Jason from Mirfield (23 September 2016)

Really relaxing stay, accommodation comfortable and clean. Peaceful setting and a great base for seeing the area. Would definitely go again
Karen from Leeds (23 September 2016)

Absolutely amazing stay, all our needs catered for. Fully recommend.
Graham from Hove (17 September 2016)

Excellent lodge very well equipped. We were most comfortable here.
Ruth from Epsom (17 September 2016)

Beautiful lodge, beautiful location, everything you need. The welcome pack was very thoughtful and kind. The furniture was comfortable, as was the beds. The outside sitting area was lovely and very relaxing whilst looking over the lakes and enjoying a glass of wine same time next year
Sarah from Wrexham (09 September 2016)

The anglesey lodge is situated in a lovely quiet lakeside area with plenty of privacy. There are ample facilities and services in the lodge - however the cd player was not available neither was one of the tv remotes. The ducks who visit on a regular basis are cute and very endearing. . the main criticism that we had with the lodge was that it could have been cleaner - we would have only given it 7/10 for cleanliness. That aside we would thoroughly recommend this lodge and location to anyone considering visiting anglesey for a short vacation. . caernarfon and conwy (especially conwy castle and the old tudor house as well as the castle hotel [for food]) are well worth a visit
Alan from Boston (03 September 2016)

This was a very quiet and peaceful location for our perfect family holiday.
Jeanette from Sheffield (13 August 2016)

This is the 3rd year we have been here , absolutely love it !
Amanda from Rugeley (13 August 2016)

Great location and lodge, would have been good to have a nice pub to walk to easily. Left some feedback in lodge that hopefully would help
Confirmed Holidaymaker (06 August 2016)

Great place to relax. Lodge was very comfortable and roomy. Hot tub was fantastic. Not much to do on anglesey but only a short drive back over the strait to the mainland. Climbing snowdon was our highlight.
Tony from Cannock (30 July 2016)

Luxurious, peaceful and relaxing
Karen (23 July 2016)

Menai - the lodge was not cleaned very well, there was no bedding provided for our children's beds, we had to ring the owner who dropped it off. The site is not catered for children. There is no convenient shop or play area. The geese were very aggressive towards us. We could not use the hot tub as it was raining continuously and it was not under cover or protected from the wind.
Russell (16 July 2016)

A beautiful site with well spaced out lodges. Peaceful, well kept, good restaurants nearby.
Peter (16 July 2016)

We really enjoyed this holiday, the lodge was fantastic, really clean, close to all amenities and very peaceful and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this lodge as it really was a home from home
Michael from Monaghan (16 July 2016)

Brilliant lodges, everything you could need.
Paul from Bridport (09 July 2016)

Excellent location. Properties spacious and very well equipt. Plenty of local attractions to visit.
Andy from Oswestry (09 July 2016)

What an amazing place. Luxurious and very comforting holiday base. Very peaceful and relaxing. Staff where again fantastic, very informative of the area and so helpful. They couldn't have made me and my family's stay any better. Very highly recommended thanks.
Stuart from Pontefract (01 July 2016)

Fantastic holiday and hopefully returning next year.
Sam (01 July 2016)

Pleased we were met by a very friendly brenda who settled us into the lodge and hot tub. The lodge had everything we needed, comfort, style, clean and in a beautiful position on the lakeside.
Jeremy (27 June 2016)

The most beautiful place i've ever stayed
Alan from Chesterfield (25 June 2016)

Beautiful place to stay and relax.
Hannah from Newcastle Under Lyme (24 June 2016)

We have visited anglesey lakeside lodges previously and stayed in the lower boathouse, this time choosing the top boathouse. I initially chose these lodges as we could bring along our dog lola and there are some fantastic dog friendly beaches nearby. however there is so much more to enjoy, the quiet relaxed atmosphere and the wildlife. there are bits I would steal from the lower boathouse like the screen around the hot tub which made it more private however we preferred the layout of the top boathouse. all lodges appear to come equipped with everything you would need for a week away. I would definately stay again.
Tracey from Ashton Under Lyne (24 June 2016)

Over priced compared to other lodges we have stayed at not suitable for walking
David from Airdrie (18 June 2016)

A beautiful place to just chill out and unwind. We would definitely be back but would not stay in bodafon lodge again. We had a lovely restful week despite not having any wifi
Julie from Lancashire (18 June 2016)

Wonderful lodge with lots of extras. Site is peaceful and scenic , lots of birds to watch. The site is tucked away down a lane but only a few miles drive to shops etc.
Jayne from Ware (17 June 2016)

Absolutely wonderful, peaceful, tranquil, friendly ducks. . . thank you so much linda and chris, it was great
Kay from Manchester (13 June 2016)

We had a wonderful relaxing week. The kids loved the hot tub. The lodge was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. We shall certainly book again.
Claire from Cheshire (10 June 2016)

The lodge was nice, but not worth the money we paid for it. It was not aswell maintained as the other lodges, and the exterior needed a good clean. The bedrooms were far too hot to sleep in, with only a velux window in each room to open.
Amy from Bolton (10 June 2016)

Perfect holiday. Beautiful surroundings x
Sara (03 June 2016)

Beautiful serene location. Gorgeous beaches nearby
Jennifer from Nottingham (30 May 2016)

This is a beautiful lodge in an idyllic setting. It has a very well equipped kitchen, the views from every room are stunning, with ducks & geese sitting outside on the lake edge. Lovely patio area with chairs and a wooden table with benches. A bbq is provided so make sure you take charcoal & something to light it with. The large windows do not open. so, the lodge does become extremely hot, we wedged front & back door open to get air through. No hanging wardrobes in bedrooms, but hooks on back of doors & a wardrobe in sauna room, no storage surfaces in bathrooms, so make sure you have wash bags. We used the downstairs shower as the en suite bathrooms have small baths with hand held showers & are a little small to move around in.
Adele from Newnham (30 May 2016)

Fantastic lodge and great surroundings would recommend
Linda from Hyde (28 May 2016)

Anglesey was lovely, we had a great time exploring the island. I enjoyed a ride with anglesey horse riding centre. Went to the railway station llanfair whats it for a photo opportunity, got to be done. Castle in beaumaris. And many other enjoyable times. We would recommend anglesey for a holiday to anyone.
Julie from Baldock, Herts (20 May 2016)

Our second stay here. Always clean and tidy and beautiful surroundings.
Jenny from Liverpool (20 May 2016)

It was beautiful couldn't ask for more. Defiantly coming back again.
Beth (16 May 2016)

The cabin was absolutely brilliant and the owners were so nice and helpful! just wasn't really much to do around the area. Great place to chill and unwind though.
Sarah from Wrexham (16 May 2016)

We had a good week exploring the area and relaxing at the lodge.
Wendy from Pitlochry (14 May 2016)

Beautiful location . gorgeous log cabin with fantastic facilities ! I can't recommend enough !!! we will be returning very soon! thank you !
Hazel from Manchester (09 May 2016)

Brilliant!!
Lesley from Chester (07 May 2016)

The lodges are beautiful and in a lovely setting. the only negative comment is that you have to take your car everywhere. cannot walk to a pub or beach. but positive it's fantastic for a quiet relaxing . holiday. . xxx
Georgina from Nantwich (06 May 2016)

Great location away from it all. But if you are fit and able it is about a 40 minute walk across the fields in menai bridge. Lodge itself was fantastic, well equipped, a real home from home.
Georgina from Northants (02 May 2016)

We rented three lodges; cadnant, tryfan and lakeside lodge. All three owners were extremely helpful before we arrived and during our stay. All three lodges were beyond our expectations and we had a wonderful stay. The hot tubs and landscape were amazing also. We would definitely come back and stay in any three of these lodges. Thank-you
Simone from Buckingham (02 May 2016)

Absolutely amazing chill out holiday / break away.
Rhiannon from North Wales (30 April 2016)

Lovely lodge in own private area. . we were there when weather was at its worst, good to have a cosy retreat. . . imagine it to be great in good weather when all the outside can be included as well.
David (29 April 2016)

Lovely place and area. Lodge owners where so helpful and gave a courtesy call a few days before stay, which I thought was a lovely thing to do. Will most definitely be staying again and am happy to recommend to anyone.
Steven from Penarth (29 April 2016)

This is the second visit to lakeside lodges. The area is lovely. Very peaceful and relaxing. Unfortunately the lodge we stayed at on this occasion was not up to the normal standard as expected from the autograph range. A hot tub and idyllic setting does not warrant the 'luxury' badge nor the price.
Geraldine from Shropshire (29 April 2016)

Lovely location, really enjoyed it.
Helen from Widnes (25 April 2016)

We were very fortunate that the weather was fabulous, and we were very lucky to be able to explore the island, visiting many beautiful places. The beach at newbrough is stunning, we walked through the forest, which is about a 4 mile walk, but well worth it. Lots of beautiful little pubs for eating lunch.
Glynis from Plymouth (22 April 2016)

Wonderful peaceful location.
Trevor (22 April 2016)

110% recommend this place, was better than originally expected, would come back without hesitation!
Elise from Preston (18 April 2016)

Owners was in contact by txt which was very good
Trudy from Cirencester (18 April 2016)

Fantastic lodge!.. beautiful and quiet surroundings
Janet from Bury (18 April 2016)

Fantastic place !
David from Burntwood (16 April 2016)

We loved our stay in the lower boathouse, excellent location, facilities, comfortable and wow what a great hot tub! one criticism was that we were under the impression that fishing was not allowed until we saw in the handbook it was. my husbands caught some huge carp and was in fishing heaven with glass of wine in one hand and rod in other! would recommend this chilled out haven to everyone.
Lisa (15 April 2016)

The lodges were beautiful, the view was gorgeous. The children loved feeding the ducks, we just wished we could have stayed longer.
Kirsty from Birkenhead (15 April 2016)

Fantastic, this is the 5th time we have been here, 4 times in the retreat lodge. I struggled to really go anywhere this year whilst there, due to health issues, but the location and spectacular surroundings that accompany this fantastic lodge, including hot tub, summer house and indoor log burner made it a special time for all the family. I would recommend this as a brilliant place to just relax, or like the rest of the family go explore, and enjoy all that the surrounding countryside has to offer, it really does cater for all, young, old, families including pets and romantics.
Malcolm from Nuneaton (26 March 2016)

The lower boathouse is a beautifully appointed lodge in a peaceful & tranquil setting. Great view if the lake from the front of the property. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from it. The location also benefits from several good restaurants within a short driving distance.
William from Haslingden (25 March 2016)

Absolutely amazing. I can't explain enough how much we enjoyed our stay here. Coming from a very busy lifestyle the quietness and scenery of the park was very welcome. We will definitely be back!
Laura from Blackpool (25 March 2016)

Very pleased with our break. Owners were very helpful and gave us a little gift on arrival as it was our anniversary. Lovely site. Quiet and tidy. Lodge was fantastic. High quality inside and out. Would use again
Steve from Accrington (21 March 2016)

Lovely situation, peaceful atmosphere. The lodge was nicely appointed, however we were disappointed as the oven did not work and we had taken our meals to cook and could not cook some of the food. . we would love to go back again, we loved the peacefulness and countryside.
Lynn from Harrogate (21 March 2016)

The accomodation and the location are both marvellous and I could not fault anything. The lodge is very well equipped and comfortable. The owner was extremely welcoming and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
Shelley from Derby (18 March 2016)

A lovely lodge in a great setting - one of the best we've stayed in. There are however a couple of points:. 1. Rules are good but not too many please!. 2. There was a strange odour from the bedding in the main bedroom. Otherwise I would have given this a 10.
Susan from Durham (18 March 2016)

Ideal location for some real r and r. lodge was like home from home with everything you could ask for.
Lynda from Witney (18 March 2016)

Lovely lodge. Would recommend to anyone. Couple who own it are very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be booking again.
Alan from Manchester (14 March 2016)

Beautiful
Ellie from Cheltenham (14 March 2016)

Very easy to book. Staff were very helpful
Danielle from Merseyside (12 March 2016)

Stunning location, beautiful, well equipped lodges with outstanding furnishings and fittings. lots to see locally with magnificent costal views and ports. loved my lodge, the views over the lake, the hot tub and sauna made it oh so special. I needed to recharge my batteries and this break ticked all the boxes. took my two pooches who loved the dog friendly beaches every day as they were really closed by. highly recommend anglesey lakeside lodges for beautiful getaways and fully relaxing breaks that have a special touch of luxury and decadence. we will be back!
Sylvia from Great Paxton, St Neots (11 March 2016)

Fabulous lodge, great peaceful location, home from home comforts and lovely extra special touches on arrival, would definitely recommend and love to stay there again.

Would highly reccomend and will definitely visit again
Mark (07 March 2016)

Recommended to friends and family
Karen from Bolton (07 March 2016)

A beautiful and peaceful site with lakeside views.
Jeff from Wirral (04 March 2016)

One of the best holiday getaways we've had! would book again in a heartbeat! stayed in bodafon lodge and it was a perfect lodge for a couple! brilliant log burner, hot tub & sauna really gave our holiday a luxury twist. We were contacted prior to arriving and felt very prepared for our holiday! we had an amazing time!
Carys from Bridgend (04 March 2016)

Excellent location. we had amazing weather for february, which contributed to our perfect stay. will be visiting again sometime.
Claire from Manchester (29 February 2016)

We stayed at cadnant lodge and it was like a home from home with extras! I cannot fault it at all. The bed was comfortable and the hot tub was perfect on a chilli evening under the stars! ! the outdoor seating looking over the lake was stunning.
Katherine from Colwyn Bay (29 February 2016)

A lovely setting, feels rural but is only a short drive from all key amenities.
Kathryn (27 February 2016)

Terrible bed. Not enough towels. Another persons hair was still in the sauna so not sanitised suitably. Hot tub too strong of chlorine. Overall an okay holiday lodge. No internet access whatsoever, no telephone signal, no 3g/4g access. So wifi was critical and required..had none on the days we stayed and did contact the owner to tell him about it but never got any service.
Paul from Haydock (27 February 2016)

Very nice and very clean lodge in pleasant surroundings
Alan from Stoke On Trent (26 February 2016)

I booked the holiday as a surprise for my husbands 40th birthday. We don't actually live far from the lodge but whilst we were there, we could have been anywhere. The location is perfect. Easy to find
Julie from Bontnewydd (22 February 2016)

The park was beautiful and not too far from shops etc but it was so peaceful. It did rain solidly all weekend but this didn't dampen the weekend as the lodge had tv, dvd player and board games. It actually gave us an excuse not to do anything! would definitely return and recommend.
Sali from Bridgend (22 February 2016)

Lovely holiday, enjoyed every minute. So relaxing, all the comforts of home, hot tub was a great bonus. Will definitely come again.
Sandy from Buxton Derbyshire (20 February 2016)

Beautiful location, peaceful surroundings.
Tim from Hyde (20 February 2016)

Absolutely love these lodges, been to several of them, over the years, beautiful views, so tranquil, would recommend them to every age group.
Janet from Wirral (19 February 2016)

Amazing lodge, can't wait to go back one day , we loved every minute ! :-)
Laura (19 February 2016)

Went in feb half term so the price goes up a lot! but it was so worth it. Stunning building, location and just an overall amazing get a way. The pool table was an added bonus as well as the wine and chocolates. Tea and coffee provided. Easy to get to and great communication thanks to the staff
Clare from Portsmouth (19 February 2016)

We stayed at the alaw lodge for valentines weekend. Was really lovely and relaxing. The lodge is beautiful and the perfect romantic getaway
Paula from Warrington (15 February 2016)

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything from a courtesy call the day before our visit to the lovely clean presentation of the lodge. A first class experience.
Lorna from Ashbourne (12 February 2016)

Beautiful lodge with every whim catered for, the weather was awful which suited us fine as we got 'cabin fever' in the best way possible. We will return sooner rather than later, and many thanks to the owners for the vino on arrival x
Michael from Liverpool (08 February 2016)

Plenty places to go in all directions, wether your visiting, eating or shopping. Or you could just chill and enjoy the cabin in it's peaceful surrounding
Jeffrey from St Helens (05 February 2016)

This was our second visit to anglesey lakeside lodges, ( the top boathouse ) there were a few faults during our stay, the oven didn't work, and the outside lighting didn't work either which was dissappointing as we took our pet and had to walk her in the dark with no light, also the outdoor hot tub we also attempted to use in the dark, we love the location and the lodge itself, but we were a little disappointed with the above points this time around. The setting is very tranquil and plenty to do within the area.
Neil from Birmingham (05 February 2016)

Lakeside lodge was incredible, the best we have ever been to. Very clean and homely stunning location! highly recommend!
John from Coventry (01 February 2016)

"just" great
Stefan from Nottingham (01 February 2016)

Lovely relaxing retreat a home from home
Garry from Kent (30 January 2016)

We had a great holiday it's a beautiful setting. it was very windy on our stay and the lodge main bedroom made lots of noise due to the wind and the bed was too hard in the main bedroom. would go back again but would prefer more local walks to take the dogs.
Amy from Stoke-On-Trent (30 January 2016)

This site is great very good base to explore anglesey and north and east wales. Only 20mins to caernarfon and under 1hour to the mountain zoo in conway. Peaceful and relaxing holiday site.
Gemma from Manchester (29 January 2016)

Absolutely gorgeous lodge would love to come back
Fern from Middlesbrough (29 January 2016)

Had a great break with 4 generations of the family (and the dog!) - every eventuality was planned for by the owners - we wanted for nothing! it was wonderfully welcoming and clean and homely. We are planning our return.
Su (25 January 2016)

This place is amazing. Perfect break.
Duayne from Manchester (22 January 2016)

Lovely peaceful location, abundant with wildlife, haven away from it all but within short driving distance of fabulous beaches
Jules from Lancashire (22 January 2016)

Absolutley lovely location. lodge well equiped. thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and sauna.
Jenny from Colne, Lancs (22 January 2016)

Visit here every year love this place wish I could live here I get home sick when I actually go home coz I feel that at home in the log cabin if you avnt visited this place you need to xx
Danielle from Liverpool (18 January 2016)

Nice relaxing break, easy to find, great parking at the lodge - no problems at all whist staying - I would definitely recommend this site - within driving distance of most attractions - anglesey is beautiful :)
Holley from Preston (18 January 2016)

Fantastic place to relax
Debbie (18 January 2016)

Fantastic lodge. so relaxing and cosy. Would recommend for a romantic break.
Anne from Stourport (15 January 2016)

A nice quiet location but it doesn't take long in the car to get the mountains or the towns.
Matthew from Poole (15 January 2016)

Lower lake boat house:stunning , can't complain about one aspect of this fabulous lodge. Extremely well equipped, a home from home! the hot tub was amazing at night under the stars! excellent value for money! would definitely go again! only limitation is it is rather remote from surrounding areas but easily reachable by car. Menai town is only around £7 in a taxi. The lodge itself is quiet and idyllic. Perfect for a romantic week away! will definitely be returning!
Kate from Manchester (15 January 2016)

Amazing weekend break. All extra touches added great welcoming feeling on arrival. Perfect to take the pooch with you too.
Amy from Mansfield (11 January 2016)

Beautiful cabin amazing location . we were a family celebrating new year 2016 cant imagine a better way than in a hot tub with a glass or 2 of fizz. The ducks coming up to the windows tapping their beaks on the window asking for food was entertaining each day . will be back .
Alison from The Ducks Coming Up To The Windows Tapping Their B (06 January 2016)

Such a beautiful location and fab to just get away from the world even tho there is wifi. Brenda who owned the lodge cudnt do enough for us altho was not suffocating just at the end of the phone when needed. The lodge itself is beautiful with the added bonus of the hot tub! absolutely loved it and will definitely be returning.
Katrina from West Midlands (04 January 2016)

Such a beautiful place. Shame we had to leave a day early due to weather. Would definitely return and definitely recommend it!
Anna (30 December 2015)

Stayed for a week at new year december 2015. Was most disappointed when entering the lodge, cleaning left a lot to be desired. Dust and grime in both bathrooms, dishwasher had to be cleaned by hand and a dishwasher cleaning tablet purchased before it was useable. Stains on dining furniture. We had flies in main bedroom every day even though no windows was left open. Best part of our stay was the hot tub! was most disappointed with our stay and feel it was not worth the money we paid.
Tracy (30 December 2015)

Just perfect retreat for a relaxing break with the family. . . the dogs loved watching the ducks bobbing up and down in front of the window.

Tryfan lodge was amazing I can not wait to go back, this time with my daughters for a girly break. Hot tub was fab even when it was cold outside (november). ducks are very friendly. Lot's of places to visit round anglesey. The running stream at the back of the lodge with the seating was lovely and relaxing listening to the running water. The complimentary fudge and wine was a nice surprise. Carol was lovely and left great instruction and information of places to go. 100% be going back again
