Had a wonderful pre-xmas escape, would thoroughly recommend in particular during the colder nights the hot - tub went down exceptionally well with the mrs.
Anthony (16 December 2017)

Very nice lodge, beautiful setting and a very relaxing holiday
Dennis from Rochdale (08 December 2017)

An excellent place to relax and unwind!!
Mark from Chester (27 November 2017)

The break was not good, in fact it was dreadful. The lodge and its situation was lovely but ann's health as it is and then the weather… two lodges were flooded, and the residents left in the night. The river cadnant rose to the road level a good 4 meters in four hours and that was just 20 feet away. River roaring past the lodge on one side and the lake and river about to burst on the other and the lodge is actually overhanging the lake. It was like cruising but going nowhere with the waves getting increasingly choppy until we lost electric power in the early evening two days before leaving, so went to bed and left the following morning. We won’t be going back anytime soon. No consumer mains box for electric was in or outside the lodge. No-one to contact. No wifi signal. Non existent comms anywhere. Very poor for 2017. With problems, owner in austrailia.
Frank from Stoke On Trent (25 November 2017)

Absolutely amazing place. Stay at alaw, was an incredible lodge. Already booked to go back june 2018.
Dean from Pontypridd (24 November 2017)

Excellent..we will be back
Donna (18 November 2017)

We loved the setting. It was so peaceful even though there were other people around. The property is very well equipped and, although it is starting to look a little tired in places, we felt very comfortable and loved the space. We also loved the hot tub and the view from the bed.
Steve (18 November 2017)

Stunning little lodge right by the lake with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the lake. Our dog loved lying by the window and watching the ducks swim by. . . the hot tub has a nice bit of privacy for when you want to chill and relax. . . easy to find as soon as you get on the site. . . great access to local beach's. . downside - . the outside decked area is great to chill out on and in the hot tub. However when taking a pet we had to put the deck chairs in front of the gate as our german shepherd could fit through the gaps in the gate. Could do with fencing or meshing those off.
Paul (17 November 2017)

Such a lovely peaceful place to stay! brenda was so lovely and helpful, even picking us up!! hot tub was fab! the lodge was full of the essentials even complimentary champagne. Can’t wait to stay again!
Anthony from Cardiff (17 November 2017)

We had an amazing time at our lake side lodge and will be going back some time very soon. Couldn't of asked for anything better, we didn't want to come home.
Jemma from Prenton (13 November 2017)

Had a phonecall from brenda a few days before we went to explain how to let ourselves in if she wasn't there which we thought was really helpful. We told her that this break was our honeymoon and when we got there we found a nice bottle of champagne, box of chocolates and a lovely wedding card plus the amazing welcome pack. The lodge was very clean and had everything you would need, it has gorgeous lake views and a very private hot tub. We chose this lodge because we had stayed in it before and we wanted somewhere to relax after a hectic few weeks.
Mark from Stoke-On-Trent (10 November 2017)

Beautiful lodge, very clean with everything you could wish for. Wonderful treats waiting for us when we arrived. We loved it!!

Jackie from Deeside (09 October 2017)

Fabulous lodge in beautiful, tranquil location. Lodge was equipped with everything you could wish for, come rain or shine. The large hot tub was brilliant & one cool clear evening we were even star gazing whilst sitting in the warming, relaxing bubbles! we all had a super short break & as one of our party was partially disabled, the downstairs toilet, shower room and double bedroom leading directly onto the decking area was perfect and allowed easy access for her.

Wendy from Ellesmere Port (25 September 2017)

Very nice peaceful and relaxing lodge and location
Keith from Nuneaton (23 September 2017)

Great location and good service and communication from owners. Lodge was comfortable, in beautiful surroundings, would certainly stay again, but did feel, that the lodge was a little dated and some areas could have been cleaner, especially windows. Bed very uncomfortable and property seemed to require some general maintenance.
Simon from Cheshire (22 September 2017)

Very relaxing
Peter (18 September 2017)

Beautiful place, great lodges my only feedback would be to stock the lakes with fish
Gavin (18 September 2017)

Very good holiday in lovely relaxing surroundings
Athene from Wiltshire (18 September 2017)

This is one of the most beautiful and relaxing lodges we have stayed in. The hot tub was fab and the views were stunning. We really should have gone out more to explore the surrounding area but enjoyed just switching off, relaxing and taking in the views.
Janet from Inverness (16 September 2017)

Lakeside lodge site is a series of lodges around some old fishing lakes. They are spaced well apart so you feel private. Nothing to do on the site apart from enjoy the view so not for families with children. Site well maintained.
Malcolm from Blackpool (16 September 2017)

Lovely location and lodge. Shame it hadn't been cleaned from previous guests' stay. When reported to housekeeping it was soon put right; thank you to the cleaning lady who left a family party to sort out for us. That said, it leaves a not so nice taste considering the place is considered "luxury".
Confirmed Holidaymaker (11 September 2017)

Although the location was wonderful inside the lodge was lacking for the money paid.
Anona from Tamworth (09 September 2017)

Great location, relaxing, tranquil and well situated close to all of the great things to do in anglesey and north wales. we will be back.
Claire (09 September 2017)

Lovely place but too expensive in my opinion
Allison (08 September 2017)

Super accommodation. Every detail thought about. Clean and well presented accommodation.
Jane from Huddersfield (23 August 2017)

Fantastic lodge with every conceivable extra you could wish for. I would recommend anyone to stay here to recharge the batteries or anyone who wants an activity holiday with lots of activities in close proximity. Great communication from the owners with some nice little touches that if possible made it even better. Thank you for letting us stay in this special place.
David from Biddulph (19 August 2017)

Very good, very relaxing, couldn't have asked for more.
John from Wolverhampton (12 August 2017)

Fabulous lodge. Will definitely stay here again. Great facilities and fantastic peaceful setting
Christine from Warrington (11 August 2017)

The lodge as advertised as an autograph lodge, whilst the lodge was a good size, large rooms, good surrounding, good access to local area, it was the finer detail that let the place down, the lodge needed a good clean, the food plates etc, we had to clean before we could use them, basically attention to detail was missing.
Gary from Co Durham (05 August 2017)

What a fantastic place to stay, the lodge was so clean and was equipped with everything you could ever need. The area was lovely and quiet, perfect to relax in.
Claire from Lancashire (05 August 2017)

The lodge with its large windows and lakeside location is amazing. Everything inside is thoughtfully organised. The hot tub and barbecue were well used and much appreciated by us. The location is stunning and incredibly relaxing. A great retreat.
Michelle from Manchester (05 August 2017)

Brenda was very welcoming the lodge was spotless and she left us lots of goodies a lovely lodge and a very private and peaceful week
Anthony from Ipswich (05 August 2017)

Anglesey was wonderful - lots of places to discover. The lodge was a great place to return to after a day out with all you could need.
Claire from Gloucester (29 July 2017)

Oh my goodness! could not fault this lodge. the owners have gone above and beyond any expectations with the cleanliness, style and homeliness of this lodge. we were welcomed with a bottle of wine, sweets and chocolates and everything I had forgotten to bring was provided. and the beautiful location...well! it was tranquil, stunning to look at in all weathers set amongst an abundance of wildlife. we spent many an hour watching the ducks, birds, dragonflies, butterflies and frogs in and around the clean lakes and surrounding flora. we truly felt we were in paradise.
Tina from Lincoln (29 July 2017)

Fantastic location, fantastic lodge. Couldn't have hoped for better, very peaceful with plenty to do in the surrounding area.
Suzanne from Edinburgh (29 July 2017)

V nice
Richard from Brighton (28 July 2017)

Lodge and surroundings were everything we hoped for . hot tub and decking excellent new barbe cue brilliant . our feathered neighbours joined us every day for breakfast and kept us amused by their antics . we had a couple of issues but owner responded quickly to them . wifi signal very poor some times non existent . but all in all a fabulous place .

Maria from Stoke On Trent (08 July 2017)

Fabulous lodges very comfortable and luxurious and beautiful surroundings.
Jayne from Dorset (08 July 2017)

Great place, lovely private hot tub and seating area. house well appointed, situated in a very nice peaceful area, five/ten minute drive to the shops. we were there for a week but only had time to explore the north east corner of anglesey, so much to do and see. will be back for another visit.

Great place and lovely location piece and quiet loved it
Anthony from Burton On Trent (01 July 2017)

Lovely location. beautiful views across the lakes.
Nicola from Melksham (24 June 2017)

The pictures on the website imply that the cottage is on its own away from other cottages however there are more in the surrounding areas. The cottage was clean however could do with a freshen up. The hot tub was perfect - and very clean. Good location.
Mary (16 June 2017)

Beautifull relaxing stay.
Susan (16 June 2017)

Second time we have stayed. amazing location with stunning lakeside views. will be going again sometime.
Claire (10 June 2017)

Wonderful location and so much to see and do. The site is quite and well kept a real haven of peace and tranquillity.
Suzanne from Chester (09 June 2017)

The only thing that spoilt the week was the dreadful weather. Slightly remote but had the weather been good we would not have needed to move from the lakeside except for provisions. Would definitely return
Susan from Warrington (09 June 2017)

Quiet location. Relaxing and pretty spot.
Sheila from Walsall (09 June 2017)

An absolutely stunning lodge in a stunning location! I will definitely be back
Graeme from Chester (05 June 2017)

What a lovely spot! having the lodge right on edge of lake with decking was brilliant for watching the wildlife. Lots of babies whilst we there - ducks, geese, and more, often coming to the door in the morning for there breakfast much to the delight of my grandson. Sitting outside in the evening we had some amazing displays from the bats. . hot tub was great as was the gas bbq, good facilities. Lodge was very spacious with lounge and main bedroom having full windows to overlook the lake. Good spot to access all the attractions, lots to do and soon filled our week. The lodges are well spaced apart and good parking alongside. Wouldn't hestitate to book again.
Sheila from Shropshire (03 June 2017)

Good lodge lovely surroundings a car a must
Francis (03 June 2017)

Stayed at lakeside retreat, the lodge was dusty and some kitchen equipment required washing again, but overall a lovely lodge and lovely surroundings. Just one criticism- a gas bbq would be much better due to the coal one at the far side of the garden although there was a summer house we couldn't use it due to all the duck mess.
Abby from Liverpool (03 June 2017)

Lovely welcome , great location best hoeseason hoilday yet .
John (27 May 2017)

Lovely location & well equipped lodge. . had a lovely rest as nice & quiet.
Paul from Essex (27 May 2017)

Absolutely amazing lodge and location. Have booked again for next year already.
Lori (26 May 2017)

James from Brighton (12 May 2017)

We loved anglesey lodges the site is so peaceful but close enough to menai etc for shopping and restaurants.loved the bird song and ducklings and goslings.couple of problems with our lodges, but soon overcome, the surroundings compensate for minor issues such as luke warm baths.weather was perfect for us to spend most of the time outside.
Elizabeth from Ellesmere Port (12 May 2017)

Absolutely stunning and comfortable. A truly home from home feeling.
Saela from Bradford (08 May 2017)

Heavenly location, divine accommodation and the rest is up to you. This is my 2nd visit to these lodges and I am so pleased it was as lovely as the first trip. Spent a wonderful weekend lounging in a different lovely log cabin from the 1st time with our two pooches. Great location for discovering anglesey but why would you leave the lakeside when you are surrounded by perfect picturesque and abundant wild life, flowers and serene peace and quiet.
Sylvia from Great Paxton, St.Neots (08 May 2017)

An absolutely stunning lodge in amazing surroundings. If you're looking for peace and tranquillity then this is the place for you! you don't even have to get out of bed to enjoy the view, although if that feels a little too lazy for you then there's always the hot tub! bliss!
Kelly from Merthyr Tydfil (08 May 2017)

Very quiet location, good wildlife sightings but the greylag geese made an alarm clock unnecessary!! found the sloping roof/ceiling difficult whilst using the loo and showering. I am 6ft 2ins. Other than that was very satisfied with our choice and had a very relaxing break.
Graham from Dorchester (06 May 2017)

Perfect great little escape.
Jason from Swansea (05 May 2017)

Will definatley go back!!! absolutely brilliant stay! highly recommend!
Michelle from Norwich (05 May 2017)

Lodge was lovely, the hot tub needs updating as wasn't very powerful
Debbie (01 May 2017)

Beautiful lodges in a beautiful setting. So peaceful and a lovely place to relax and unwind. Close to local amenities and lots to do nearby. Will definately be returning- sad that the holiday came to an end ! only rated the staff 9/10 because we never really saw anyone but the once we did they were really friendly. Highly recommended!
Danny from West Midlands (29 April 2017)

Another fab stay in cadnant lodge. So relaxing
Linda (28 April 2017)

Absolutely lovely place for my wife, my 5 yr old daughter and I to get away from it all and relax. recommending to friends and would definitely go back. It could easily accommodate 6 people in luxury.

Beautiful location and very well positioned for exploring north wales. Excellent lodges on a beautifully kept site, perfect!
Jennifer from Liverpool (14 April 2017)

The top boathouse at anglesey lakeside lodges was still as amazing as it was six years ago. . . great location, great lodge.
Laurence from Taunton (08 April 2017)

Great place to stay and unwind nightly reccomend
Christopher from Stoke-On-Trent (03 April 2017)

Excellent place lodge was beautiful and the lake it was situated at was wonderful for bird watching
Shirley from Bury (31 March 2017)

Lovely quiet relaxing place we always enjoy anglesey. Unfortunately the lodge we stayed in (the lower lake boathouse) was beginning to get a bit shabby and had been for a while according to the visitors book.
Geraldine (24 March 2017)

Beautiful location, so peaceful and great location for exploring angelsey.
Julie from Stafford (24 March 2017)

We are returning for our fourth visit in sept, the location is perfect for a peaceful chill out and away from it all break. You do need a car to go into the nearest town however it is only 10 mins away. The lodges are amazing, they have their own hot tub and the kitchen area is fully equipped with everything you could need. They are all very nicely kept too and lovely and clean. We love this place.
Sharon from Mold (24 March 2017)

Absolutely perfect. We had such a fabulous break here. The accommodation was better than we imagined. . we cannot wait to come back.
Emma (20 March 2017)

Absolutely fantastic place to stay if you just want to take a time out from the real world !!
Simon from Wrexham (20 March 2017)

Lovely lodge in a beautiful area. we will be back!
Malcolm from Leeds (17 March 2017)

Amazing cabin, so much space, so open, could just stock the fridge and stay there for weeks with plenty to do, but will need plenty of bread for the ducks too
Daniel from Ellesmere Port (17 March 2017)

Excellent place to stay and relax. Great location and beautiful lodge. Would love to visit again the future.
Alan from Bristol (17 March 2017)

Great lodge and great location. We walked snowdon and eat out at so many cute great coastal pubs.. only downside is the weather can be a little sketchy but added to the atmosphere.
Russell from Iver Heath (13 March 2017)

The space between the lodges is perfect, so many times we've been to lodges where you're sat ontop . of your nextdoors neighbour which isn't ideal when you have a hot tub. . the lakes are lovely and we especially enjoyed our duck visitors.
Danielle from Wirral (10 March 2017)

Our lodge was by far the best on the lake. Brenda could not be more helpful! the lodge is fully equipped with everything you could need. The ducks of a morning and just waking up to the beautiful view, whether it was sunny or raining it was such a delight for all 4 of us. If you're looking for some special family or couple time away then this is the place for you. Cannot wait to book again, several family members have booked for breaks because we have raved so much about this incredible lodge!
Kimberley from Merseyside (10 March 2017)

Lovely lodge only downside you have to take your car everywhere. nowhere to walk to no shop or pub
Georgina (06 March 2017)

A great location with beautiful outlook onto lake. Good for base from which to see anglesey and snowdonia national park.
Peter from West Midlands (03 March 2017)

Beautiful lodge with everything included that you could ever need! the owners were very helpful when during storm doris we had a power cut! we definitely want to come back and it was the perfect mini moon x
Caroline from Cheshire (24 February 2017)

The lodge is in beautiful and quiet surroundings away from any traffic noise. Situated at the end of the grounds, it overlooks the 3 small lakes and ensures privacy. The rooms are well furnished and the interior decorations are pleasant. the kitchen and dining area are similarly well presented. A large jacuzzi on the porch was a wonderful way to soak in the serenity of the place after a day of activity. There is a bbq at the rear of the lodge together with some children's garden toys. With the majority of attractions and activities we had planned situated close to the menai straits, the lodge was ideal being 20mins drive away. Communication with the landlord was extremely helpful. Would recommend the lodge highly.
Mohammed from London (17 February 2017)

Beautifully appointed and clean lodge in a lovely location. Secluded yet close to all that anglesey and north wales have to offer. . owners made us feel very welcome, both pre arrival and on arrival. . would definitely stay again.
Katie from Kidderminster (17 February 2017)

We had the best midweek break, so relaxing in such beautiful surroundings. We have stayed in quite a few nice cabins but this was the best by far! it was so homely, there was nothing the owners hadn't allowed for, so well equipped, so clean, so cosy and surprisingly big for a 1 bedroomed property. We would go back in a heartbeat..and almost certainly will next year! thank you x
Lynne from Ilkeston, Derby (10 February 2017)

Me and my partner really enjoyed are few days away here. The location and surroundings was beautiful. We are definitely staying here again next year.
Martin from Garswood (10 February 2017)

Lovely stay beautiful lodge very clean lady that checked us in was lovely will be back
Joanna from Bedworth (06 February 2017)

Absolutely brilliant. lovely lodge. already booked to go back next year. the lodge was very clean and tidy. Lakeside retreat lodge is fully equipped with everything you need in there. the tranquil setting of the lodges is fab. value for money. I would definitely recommend it just to chill out.
Tracy from Manchester (06 February 2017)

Flawless, the lodge is gorgeous, warm, relaxing, immaculate, homely, well located..the hosts are fantastic too, contact when necessary and very helpful, would recommend to anyone. We visited for 3 nights, could've easily stayed the week with plenty to do.
James from Banbury (06 February 2017)

2nd time at lakeside, different lodge same outcome , fantastic break.
David from Porttalbot, S/Wales. (04 February 2017)

Lovely lodge, great place to stay, had a wonderful relaxing time, would highly recommend.
Sandy from Buxton (03 February 2017)

We had an amazing stay in the top boathouse and are looking to return again. Beautiful views of the lake and very peaceful. all I would say is we would of benifited from an itinerary of products (tea, coffee, sugar, cooking oil etc) in the lodge as we bought a lot of things that we didn't need to.
Martin from Bournemouth (30 January 2017)

Absolutely perfect break. Beautiful place beautiful lodge. 100% will go back next year
Sharnie (27 January 2017)

This was our second visit to lakeside and was just as fantastic as the first. The lodges are perfect, a home from home. All the little things you think you would need are supplied. Each lodge is private from the others. There is so much to do around the area.
Debbie from Manchester (23 January 2017)

Stunning lodge in the most beautiful surroundings. . if peace & relaxation is what your looking for, then look no further.
Josephine from St Asaph (23 January 2017)

Can not fault the lodge in any way, the only thing I have to say, is perfect in every way xx
Danielle from Liverpool (20 January 2017)

A romantic, picturesque location. Gorgeous, well equipped lodge with lots of personal touches.
Joanne from Rochdale (16 January 2017)

Fabulous place. . owners went above and beyond to our stay fantastic. . thank you
Suzanne from Cheshire (09 January 2017)

Absolutely amazing holiday in the lakeside lodge like home from home. Hot tube very private and amazing setting on the lake owner very helpful and welcoming. Will deffently be back. By far the best lodge we have stayed in!
Samantha from Herdtfordshire (06 January 2017)

3 small lakes with 11 lodges dotted about plenty of space between! it's a lovely setting - quiet and very relaxing!!
Paul from Warrington (30 December 2016)

Beautiful lodge, beautiful location on the lake, couldn't fault it, will go again
Lorraine from Wales (07 October 2016)

The lodge has everything you need. It's a lovely peaceful setting. Just as good the second time round.
Philip (03 October 2016)

Absolutely fabulous break! been a few times and will definitely be back.
Lauren from Stoke-On-Trent (30 September 2016)

Fantastic! lovely place, beautiful lodge and surroundings, nice and peaceful. Would definitely recommend this place.
Tara from Bristol (30 September 2016)

Cadnant lodge was the perfect place to visit for a relaxing family holiday. The lodge and surroundings are beautiful. Whilst isolated and peaceful it is only a short drive to every amenity you might need. The only reason I scored 9 instead of 10 for location is because it was sometimes a little far away from north wales' main attractions. . that being said I would highly recommend this lodge and would like to thank the lodge owners for such a wonderful stay
Amy from Essex (24 September 2016)

Great location. Great accommodation. . perfect for a getaway. No mobile signal, but thats not always a bad thing. . lakeside location very relaxing.
Jason from Mirfield (23 September 2016)

Really relaxing stay, accommodation comfortable and clean. Peaceful setting and a great base for seeing the area. Would definitely go again
Karen from Leeds (23 September 2016)

Absolutely amazing stay, all our needs catered for. Fully recommend.
Graham from Hove (17 September 2016)

Excellent lodge very well equipped. We were most comfortable here.
Ruth from Epsom (17 September 2016)

Beautiful lodge, beautiful location, everything you need. The welcome pack was very thoughtful and kind. The furniture was comfortable, as was the beds. The outside sitting area was lovely and very relaxing whilst looking over the lakes and enjoying a glass of wine same time next year
Sarah from Wrexham (09 September 2016)

The anglesey lodge is situated in a lovely quiet lakeside area with plenty of privacy. There are ample facilities and services in the lodge - however the cd player was not available neither was one of the tv remotes. The ducks who visit on a regular basis are cute and very endearing. . the main criticism that we had with the lodge was that it could have been cleaner - we would have only given it 7/10 for cleanliness. That aside we would thoroughly recommend this lodge and location to anyone considering visiting anglesey for a short vacation. . caernarfon and conwy (especially conwy castle and the old tudor house as well as the castle hotel [for food]) are well worth a visit
Alan from Boston (03 September 2016)

This was a very quiet and peaceful location for our perfect family holiday.
Jeanette from Sheffield (13 August 2016)

This is the 3rd year we have been here , absolutely love it !
Amanda from Rugeley (13 August 2016)

Great location and lodge, would have been good to have a nice pub to walk to easily. Left some feedback in lodge that hopefully would help
Confirmed Holidaymaker (06 August 2016)

Great place to relax. Lodge was very comfortable and roomy. Hot tub was fantastic. Not much to do on anglesey but only a short drive back over the strait to the mainland. Climbing snowdon was our highlight.
Tony from Cannock (30 July 2016)

Luxurious, peaceful and relaxing
Karen (23 July 2016)

Menai - the lodge was not cleaned very well, there was no bedding provided for our children's beds, we had to ring the owner who dropped it off. The site is not catered for children. There is no convenient shop or play area. The geese were very aggressive towards us. We could not use the hot tub as it was raining continuously and it was not under cover or protected from the wind.
Russell (16 July 2016)
