The holiday park is in a lovely location & the park itself is very picturesque, lots of natural waterfalls running through it & some lovely walks to do from the park itself
Wendy from Rotherham (07 October 2016)

Brilliant !
Terence from Uttoxeter (07 October 2016)

Fantastic time, can't wait to come back. Friendly atmosphere, very relaxing.
Mags from Tywyn (30 September 2016)

The caravan we stayed in was very limited for space. The sofas preferenced practicality over comfort and the tv was small and quiet. The oven inly had ine shelf which meant cooking for 5 took an age. The outdoor lighting also floided the bedroom at night.
Carrie from Mold (26 September 2016)

We were very pleased with our holiday caravan had everything that we required surroundings lovely
Jacqueline (23 September 2016)

Lovely peaceful place and ideal for touring the area. the caravan we stayed in was really nice except for a couple of things. the pillows had seen better days and really need replacing and the addition of a cushions in the lounge area would make it more comfortable.
June from Bradford (23 September 2016)

Lovely woodland setting. Very peaceful and relaxing. Caravan clean and had all the facilities needed. Really enjoyed the hot tub after long walks.
Sallie from Cheshire (23 September 2016)

Beautiful site but no facilities other than the restaurant and bar which was excellent.a small shop would have been appreciated
Pat (23 September 2016)

Generally excellent but a pity that our dog couldn't not be in the bar area. Especially if you wanted a meal.
Alan from Streetly, West Midlands (17 September 2016)

A lovely week at the end of the summer. Close to the beach and snowdonia. Lovely on-site restuarant and pub!
Connie (03 September 2016)

Loved it. caravan very clean and very comfortable.
Angela from Manchester (02 September 2016)

The caravan was well equipped and situated in a courtyard - snowdon 2 which was lovely but would not be suitable if you had young children and wanted to play on grass near your van. The restaurant was expensive. We used the site as a base for exploring the area and it was good value for money.
Susan from Preston Lancs (02 September 2016)

Great picturesque drive to the hotel and it is a marvel when you get there amongst the welsh highlands. The turn into the drive is a little sharp and it would benefit from a sign on the approach as the sat nav address is still about 200yds from the hotel. Lovely scenery and lovely cabins especially if you get to be near the stream.
Paule from Leeds (29 August 2016)

Stayed previously, just as good as the first stay. peaceful and relaxing.
Patrick from Wrexham (29 August 2016)

The site is geared up for owners rather than guests using the caravans. All literature inside the caravan is about owning your own holiday home. Location of site is peaceful but very large and far more overlooked by other caravans than pictured in the brochure. Found staff unhelpful when they could be found! no one in reception at arrival or departure you had to walk around country club to try to locate a staff member to help and even then they walked past you even if you were standing in the reception.
Michael from Staffordshire (22 August 2016)

The staff at the lodge front desk could be a bit friendlier. warden on duty was very helpful as he kept the laundry room open an extra 45mins after our day at the beach. gorgeous setting and surroundings.
Chris from Rotherham (13 August 2016)

The holiday park itself is well located and contains most things you want during your stay. there is a small play area and green for the kids and restaurants (although it's impossible to get in without booking in advance, which is fine if you have planned to eat there but not so fine if you are popping in at short notice). the park is in a lovely woodland setting, but there is a distinct lack of wildlife (even the solitary squirrel we saw wouldn't eat the monkey nuts we left out!). the staff were generally polite but we're slow in resolving an issue we had with the grill. The wifi is not free and kept logging out every time you closed your browser or emails - meaning you constantly had to re-enter the code. overall, we were impressed with the site - which is a small oasis in the middle of what is generally a tired part of the world, in much need of investment.
Andrew from Somerset (13 August 2016)

Caravan park in general pleasant but nothing to do on site, 'shop' can in no way be described as a shop. just a hut with a vending machine and chairs in it with a wi-fi signal set up. nothing nearby even in walking distance, had to drive everywhere. workers operating a jcb digger near to caravan during day through week. they also drove the wrong way around the parks one-way system continually & we went round a corner on a few occasions to come face to face with a vehicle coming the wrong way. staff in restaurant useless.
Confirmed Holidaymaker (13 August 2016)

The park is beautiful however it was disappointing that some of the nature walks on the site were closed but we appreciate that maintenance must be a full time job. we were disappointed at the lack of a shop to buy the daily necessities - bread, milk etc. the nearest shop is a car journey away which is not always convenient. there was a small building that seemed to have been a shop at some time with its 'we are open' sign and empty shelves. it had chairs and tables and a poorly stocked chocolate vending machine and didn't seem to know what it was for. the staff were very helpful and pleasant and the hotel offered good but quite pricey food but I think that the lack of amenities will mean that we will not stay at aberdunant holiday park again.
Sheridan from Bourne (08 August 2016)

Lovely and peaceful, caravan was clean and comfortable. No or very patchy phone signal and where our caravan was we couldn't access the site wifi even if we wanted to pay for it. That said, it was a nice novelty being without access to the outside world for a while! all information we could need was in the caravan, and the staff were always helpful and accessible. Would definitely recommend for families or couples, lovely place to stay. Thanks for a brilliant break!
Alexandra from Bourne (05 August 2016)

Good value holiday, excellent caravan in a stunning setting, will definitely going again next year.
Simon from Witney (29 July 2016)

2 years same caravan same great time!
Keith from Wirral (29 July 2016)

Great location accommodation good would say make sure take bath towels though as didn't say these were not supplied and tea towel but overall lovely site lovely surroundings and food in hotel good caravans lovely and clean
Tony from Erith (16 July 2016)

Need a shop on site. Also could not get tables in the hotel for dinner as was always fully booked. Other than that was ok.
Janet from Oxfordshire (04 July 2016)

Aberdunant hall is a beautiful holiday park, set in lovely countryside, yet only a few miles from a delightful village with pubs and a chip shop. further on is porthmadog. The road is one way round the park. there are lovely walks in the surrounding wood which is slightly hilly. the park is quite steep so may not be suitable if you have mobility problems but you can access the bar and restaurant by car. The holiday homes are all set in level areas, and secluded. We wanted a quiet relaxing holiday and that was what we had, it was lovely.
Carol from Aberdare (02 July 2016)

Ideal base for seeing snowdonia etc nice peaceful setting caravan was spotless
Gerald from Sheffield (01 July 2016)

I am very pleased with the holiday.and would definitely recommend it to anyone, the food in the hotel is first class and definitely worth the money my family and I really enjoyed it and would love to stay again
John from Chester (24 June 2016)

Good location for sight seeing in north wales. Really lovely caravan in quite location. Good restaurant at hotel a very relaxing weekend.
Paul from Mold (20 June 2016)

Beautiful place wish we could live there, great for snowden and biking , we will be back
Caroline from Gainsborough (11 June 2016)

Lovely site in a beautiful area
Deborah from Mirfield (03 June 2016)

Great base to see mid-wales. a shop would have been helpful on site as well as information leaflets about the local area. site and caravan was well maintained just a lack of facilities really.
Laura from Oldham (03 June 2016)

Lovely caravan, very clean. The park itself is beautiful and peaceful with some great walks and a great pub bistro to sit outdoors and watch your child playing on the park. Perfect base to explore snowdonia. . very minor downsides was no can opener in caravan (did not know till 1st morning at breakfast), also duvets on single beds a bit on the large side for a small singe bed. Apart from that had a fantastic time which the kids said was the best caravan and we would certainly go back again.
Sandra (28 May 2016)

Stayed for a week and had a really lovely relexing time. the caravan we stayed in was immaculate. the site is ideal for exploring portmadog, beggelert, port merrion and surrounding areas. the site itself has lovely woodland walks and waterfalls to explore. . we stayed in snowden 3 in the walled garden it could not have been better. would thoroughly recommend a stay at this site.
Christina from St Helens (27 May 2016)

Really enjoyed our holiday
Neil from Manchester (27 May 2016)

Wonderful caravan for a great price. Could do with a shop to sell basic necessities for caravan users. Staff somewhat helpful, but rather abrupt at times. Would definitely come again
Jennifer from Nottingham (20 May 2016)

Best caravan weve stayed in.best fish and chips ive had for a long time
Martin from Buxton (16 May 2016)

A shop on site for essentials would have been useful. . however, the site itself is absolutely beautiful. I hope to revisit one day with someone more able bodied so that I can go on more of the walks from the grounds. I did go through the bluebell woods which were fantastic.
Roz from Cambridge (16 May 2016)

Stunning location.
Andrew (13 May 2016)

Set in lovely woodland, very peaceful but no shop and an expensive restaurant only on site! not a site for children
Christine from Cheshire (13 May 2016)

Our 4th time at this park as we love being able to relax and unwind in beautiful peaceful surroundings. It is a dog friendly park and plenty of walks for them in the woods.
Couple from Cheshire (09 May 2016)

Lovely position good location for nearby towns beaches and steam railway dogs well provided for.
Jane from Worcestershire (06 May 2016)

Lovely place in a nice part of wales.
Timothy from Nottingham (06 May 2016)

Lovely clean caravan in beautiful surroundings. Would definately recommend this campsite to family and friends.
Jaquline (02 May 2016)

Lovely place to stay
Gail from Cheshire (02 May 2016)

Amazing place probably the best park we have been to, veiws, waterfalls, and not far from the coast magical.
Leslie from Halifax West Yorkshire (29 April 2016)

Very friendly helpful staff lovely surroundings exceptionally high standard of caravan well maintained park good menu in hotel restaurant
David from Telford (29 April 2016)

We had a great time and we find lot's of nice place's to visit, the caravan was very nice and clean
Tim from Crewe (25 April 2016)

What an amazing place. The park itself is so pretty, and it is positioned perfectly. it is so near many holiday attractions I could not have wished for anything better. . the caravan could do with more kitchen equipment, eg tin opener etc it was all looking rather tired. there is only a 2 sliced toaster so if there are 6 of you it takes forever. broken handle on a pan, and a few other minor things. I would definitely recommend this holiday can't wait to go back.
Lynne from London (23 April 2016)

We were so pleased with our break.the whole place was so lovely,of course it was in april and not over busy, but the best time for us .we went with our adult son ,which was nice to have time together .would not think twice about booking again in the future.
Customer 49 (22 April 2016)

This was our second visit in six weeks as we found the first so enjoyable. There was nothing more we could ask from the site or accommodation.
Eddie from Southport (18 April 2016)

A lovely place for a peaceful break! our caravan was clean and well equipped and warm. The grounds are beautiful! the staff at the bar and restaurant were lovely and helpful! it was our first little break as a family with our 5 month old baby ! thank you!
Louise from Solihull (18 April 2016)

Excellent holiday - in beautiful setting, clean and spacious caravan and so much to see in the surrounding area. i'm sure we will return!
Claire from Leeds (15 April 2016)

Lovely park situated in woodlands with walking paths. Great restaurant on site which was handy for the first and last evenings.
Sarah from Cheadle (15 April 2016)

Lovely stay would recommend to antone
Nicole from Alfreton (15 April 2016)

Amazing caravan, beautiful views, lovely bar, great walks. Only bad point is no wifi signal in the caravans
Gavin from Cardiff (28 March 2016)

Would have liked some blankets in the van as the nights were cold. We were advised to keep the heating on but I don't like the feeling of heating on all night. Next time I will take some!!
Zoe from Warrington (30 October 2015)

A really relaxing week surrounded by such a well kept and beautiful park. One slight problem of noisy neighbours was handled really effectively by staff so that we could enjoy the peaceful surroundings to the full. Definitely visiting again soon
Chris from Melton Mowbray (23 October 2015)

We had a wonderful stay, great caravan, had everything you need. the surrounding woodland was great for walks and wildlife. they have a lovely bistro and bar, also play area for children. the only disappointment was my husband couldn't watch the football as they don't have any sports channels, so had to go into porthmadog.
Shirley from St Helens (23 October 2015)

Wonderful place
Luiza from Leicester (19 October 2015)

Restaurant food excellent. Area scenery stunning. Sorry we had to leave 2 days early nothing to do with aberdunant hall park we really enjoyed our 5 day stay
Byron from Barrow-In-Furness (19 October 2015)

Very nice holiday park, nice location close to porthmadog when driving. Lovely setting and hot tub was very good. Caravans do have thin walls though so do let in noise however holiday park reasonably quiet and lovely setting. Would go again
Matthew (05 October 2015)

Wonderful location for exploring snowdonia. . the restaurant food far exceeded expectations. we ate there most nights and apaart from one disappointing meal the food was sublime. . the bar area was comfortable and welcoming with free wifi. Wifi costs in the caravan were high.
Susan from Portsmouth Uk (05 October 2015)

Location was fab. Caravan was ok however had not been thoroughly cleaned as we found numerous nuts around the place (in the kitchen cupboards and between lounge cushions). as we have a 2 year old and 5 month old (one of whom has a nut allergy), we were less than impressed. This could have had a very different ending had they been found and consumed. This was mentioned to the staff on check out who gave the impression that we were being overly picky and didn't fully appreciate the severity of this situation. Staff training may be required for all allergies and the consequences of ingesting these foods. . overall, would stay again, however a thorough sweep of the van would be had before the children coming in the van.
Annie from Leicestershire (02 October 2015)

Lovely location , nice caravan but let down by the lack of facilities , an onsite shop for staple goods should be a necessity when the location like this is quite remote. The nearest shop is over 3 miles away..
Lisa from Worcester (28 September 2015)

Amazing, hidden gem.
Colin from England (28 September 2015)

Beautiful park, off the beaten path, and very peaceful.
Ruth (25 September 2015)

We were disappointed with our caravan the fridge was held together with black tap. Ok the bed was made but very poorly with a cover that was far to big.we opted for the caravan but after having the lodge last year we were very disappointed .the hotel bar restaurant was nice bar staff very friendly restarant staff weren't so friendly .after a long drive we wanted a cup of tea so went to the site shop to find it was just a vending machine being quite a way from the local shops we had to wait .don't advertise a shop when there isn't one
Yvette from Hemel Hempstead (18 September 2015)

Such a beautiful location and lovely surroundings an ideal location when taking a dog.
Lynne from Stoke On Trent (18 September 2015)

Absolutely fabulous holiday, can't wait to go again.
Kathryn from Wrexham (14 September 2015)

Fantastic holiday 2nd time around we will be back
Stephen from Llanelli (12 September 2015)

Lovely park
Anthony from Cheshire (11 September 2015)

Beautiful loved every minute . very relaxing.lots of places to visit around too.
Sarah from Southport (11 September 2015)

Beautiful location and surroundings. this is our third holiday on the park. . . disappointed that so few caravans now available to pet owners and location of these poor. caravan clean and comfortable and satisfactorily equipped. . whilst hotel facilities are available to all, little opportunity to use these as no covered area or adequate heated terrace tables available to us as a pet owner. there is no longer a shop on site so no means of obtaining morning papers or the odd bottle of milk/loaf of bread etc. . we shall return to stay at this beautiful park but will now be looking to rent a private caravan.
Jennifer from Stoke-On-Trent, Staffordshire (05 September 2015)

The site was peaceful and beautiful and close to all the attractions we wanted to visit. Our only complaint would be the bistro which we found very expensive. We thought it was a shame that the site did not have a more family friendly restaurant as the bistro seemed large enough to be divided in two to cater for both
Catherine from Suffolk (31 August 2015)

A very relaxing stay with everything we wanted on the doorstep, very well run.
Patrick from Wrexham (31 August 2015)

Overall a decent place, staff a litte rough around the edges but not bad. The worse was finding the place, the satnav sent us up on a steep hill one turn left before the real one. So, if you come from porthmadog do not turn left where the satnav says but wait to find a sign in the road saying aberdunant hall and pointing left.
Lajos from Newbury (31 August 2015)

Lovely location, gorgeous caravan with hot tub, only down side would have liked maybe a couple of nights cabaret
Anne from Paignton (29 August 2015)

Beautiful setting and helpful staff! we'll definitely come back!
Connie from Olney (29 August 2015)

We stayed in a nice caravan, in a lovely setting which was near places of interest. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was nice.
Tom from Liverpool (28 August 2015)

Beautiful, clean and well maintained site. The caravan was secluded and offered privacy. The site was situated in a spectacular part of wales. We had a fantastic week despite the rain.
Gillian from London (28 August 2015)

Beautiful park and lovely setting. All staff very helpful and friendly, would highly recommend and great setting for exploring this region
Andrea from Nottingham (28 August 2015)

Aberdunant is set in beautiful surroundings and we had a lovely peaceful weekend. The on site hotel was great to with helpful friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you. Our only downfall was the weather, and there's nothing you can do about that!
Lisa from Crewe (24 August 2015)

Lovely setting. Clean facilities.
Anne from Shipley (17 August 2015)

Had an amazing time, staff were friendly and helpful. The whole place was clean and well looked after. There was some kind of building work going on but we really didn't notice it. We felt the play area lacked things for smaller children but that's is being very picky.
Alaric from Rugby (15 August 2015)

Excellent location and setting, caravan was modern and clean food at the hotel was exceptional, wifi needed rebooting to connect, the one area that needs addressing is the laundrette,3 old machines that were full and did not appear to be working correctly, this area needs investment,we had to go into portmadog to wash our clothes
Keith (14 August 2015)

Would be better if there was a shop on site and the childrens' playground needs expanding
Lyn from Birmingham (07 August 2015)

My two daughters and three grandchildren had a very comfortable stay, a good base to visit my son daughter in law and new granddaughter who live in caernarfron. All staff we spoke to were very helpful. Our caravan met our needs and very comfortable. Thank you for a lovely break and lovely surroundings.
Tina from Farnham (31 July 2015)

Very enjoyable holiday
Thomas from St. Helens (25 July 2015)

Great place . great caravan . loved it
Stephen from Stoke On Trent (18 July 2015)

Beautiful and majestic place would definitely visit again good area for my 2 dogs which were safe for them to be outside of the caravan with fence and gate secured around the caravan lovely hotel bar and good food the only downside is there was no onsite shop but not far to drive to nearest amenities
Shaun from Cambridge (13 July 2015)

We had a great stay and went out each day to visit different places in a beautiful area. The caravan was better than we expected with everything you needed. Only gripe was lack of signal for mobile phone and couldn't get wifi despite buying a voucher, but then if want to get away from everything that can be a plus!
Carol from Liverpool (10 July 2015)

Lovely holiday park. we stayed in the snowdon spa 3 caravan with hot tub and the kids loved it. the nature walks around the park were nice and there was even a few rope swings dotted around for the kids. . the hotel meals were very reasonable if you took up the 2 for £12 deal and the good was lovely. . the only thing I could suggest that needs improving is the kids play area which is a bit small. . I would definitely return again. . thanks
Roger from Holywell (10 July 2015)

A lovely , peaceful and well kept holiday park with beautiful grounds.needed to stay longe r to fully appreciate it.
Michelle from Knaresborough (03 July 2015)

Excellent location for walking snowdon idyllic location and the spa made the end of the day..
Joanne from Neath (29 June 2015)

Had a lovely relaxing time at aberdunant hall holiday park. the caravan was clean and well equipped, once I worked out how to work the heating ( I know we needed heating in june) it was lovely and warm too!. . the site is quiet and well maintained. we also ate in the restaurant at the hall which was lovely. . a really nice break all in all - thank you!
Andrea from Liverpool (26 June 2015)

Aberdunant has beautiful scenery , ideal for walks and peace and quiet , but only 15 minutes away by car to a beach .

Mark from Stockport (01 June 2015)

Beautiful place, very scenic and peaceful. 5 minutes drive from porthmadog, so best of both worlds. Even had a stream outside our caravan to clean our shoes!

Wonderful holiday but would have been better if the wasn't so expensive for evening family meals. We went somewhere else every evening.

Sarah from Walsall (25 May 2015)

Beautiful site. Impeccably maintained and managed and although it is large, it doesn't feel it due to woodland setting.
Sue from Wetherby (15 May 2015)

Beautiful location and grounds. Look forward to our next visit.

My wife and I wanted a base for a week so we could explore porthmadog and snowdon. Location was perfect. Our caravan was almost new and had everything we needed. Also the central heating made it the cosiest caravan we've stayed in. the site was quiet and lovely to walk round. Tramadog 2miles away had a spar shop and great fish n chips.
Andrew from Rotherham (08 May 2015)

Great place pity that there is no shop on site maybe vending machines for milk etc it's difficult if the shop is running at a loss.
Robert from Liverpool (08 May 2015)

A well kept caravan park in nice surroundings, easy to find, access for first 100m is two way, in what is best described as a single lane road with one passing place. it was quiet when we went so access was ok. the rest of the park is one way (but I don't think all the contractors know!)

Brilliant location for exploring snowdownia and surrounding areas. This is our second visit to the park and would not hesitate to go again. Lots of nice walks ans waterfalls within the park itself.

A lovely holiday park. we stayed in a snowdon spa caravan with a hot tub, which made the holiday! lovely walks around the park grounds. We have a very nice meal in the restaurant. I would certainly go back & stay at this park.
Joanne from Poole (17 April 2015)

The holiday park is set in wonderful countryside quite close to snowdon. the park is quite large but the caravans are well spaced. the hotel provides excellent meals and the staff are very friendly and helpful. the only criticism was that there was no shop available on site but this could have been because our holiday was early in the season.

Fantastic locations. Just required a play area for under 3. Bar and restaurant reasonably priced and excellent. This is not a tacky caravan park and there is no club, no nois. Just a lovely stream to play in and a little park perfect!!!!!

Beautiful park in a fantastic location for exploring snowdonia and the surrounding area. The caravan we booked (woodland elm) was clean and modern and very warm and cosy to come back to after a cold and windy walk. The play area is good and the park is quiet and seems very safe for children to play outside on their own. The only thing missing is a swimming pool! I would definitely return as we all had a great time.
Customer 139 from Pembroke Dock (03 April 2015)

Fantastic place to stay highly recommended
Sarah from Berkshire (03 April 2015)

Lovely place to stay in a beautiful woodland setting. could improve on the quality of food the restaurant provides for if you fancy a night in on the park.
Michelle from Preston (03 April 2015)

We had a fab few days away at easter. The site is really beautiful and the caravan was modern. Would definitely return.

Even though the weather was wet, windy and cold, this did not stop us enjoying, walks in the grounds between downpours and being overwhelmed by the beauty of the site.
Suzanne from Rhyl (30 March 2015)

Me and my family had a wonderful time here and will definatley return again, even though the weather was cold we still went out on the walks and saw all the beautiful surroundings on the caravan park. The caravan was lovely too, nothing bad to say at all about this holiday. Would recommend this site to friends and family.
