A lovely comfortable cottage in a working farm environment, with stunning views of the sea and cheviot hills, at the front. A great base to explore the northumberland / scottish border Jane from Co. Durham (27 June 2015)

Excellent location to explore northumberland and lovely cottage on a farm. it was very quiet and peaceful and when the weather is kind (which it sans' very much there are fantastic views to holy island, bamburgh and the farne islands. there is a beach which is a 20 minute walk away and could have been enjoyed on a sunny day. there are no shops or pubs in the village but berwick is only a short drive away. The stewards cottage has the most wonderful views. it is within easy reach of the sandy beach and many other interesting places to visit such as berwick upon tweed, alnwick castle, bamburgh, lindisfarne and the farne islands. It would have been helpful to know about the terrible road to the cottage.going on out motorbike would have been a problem. Ann from Redcar (12 July 2014)
Lots of plaster/paint off kitchen ceiling, water pump running every 30mins (all night long), no wifi, shower to small, tv tiny, the only good thing about cottage was the views, needs updating!! Christopher (21 June 2014)
Main living area slightly smaller than expected, but amazing views and great location. Would recomend. Faye from Cheshire (31 May 2014)
Where to begin...... my first time in a holiday cottage. Never again will I Stay in a hotel! The cottage was perfect - quiet, peaceful, inviting and a stunning location. If you visit the cottage, just for one morning (if you can drag yourself from the oh so comfy bed!), make sure you are awake for the sunrise. Truely stunning and something I won't forget for a very, very long time. Mr B from Brackley (06 October 2011)
Fantastic location. Amazing view. Couldn't reccomend more. Mr R from Coventry (04 April 2011)
The cottage has been updated to a very high standard while keeping its original features. The views are amazing and a short walk from the beach. There is loads to do near by and is easily accesible from the A1. Mr D from Sheffield (04 November 2010)
Excellent location, couldn't have asked for better. The scenery was stunning and the cottage clean, well equipped and well-based for local attractions. The owners and local people were friendly and helpful and we were so sorry when it was time to leave. We have holidayed several times with Hoseasons but this holiday was the best one yet! Mrs B from Liverpool (30 August 2010)

This cottage is excellent and is in a beautiful place with views out to sea. The countryside around is stunning, peaceful and quiet and there are numerous places to visit. We had a wonderful time and the weather was perfect most of the time. Mr A from Staines (28 June 2009)
Stewards Cottage is in an ideal location to explore the area and has beautiful, unspoilt views of the nearby beach. The newly refurbished cottage is homely and yet modern inside and is ideal for families or couples alike. It is well equipped with thoughtful details such as a book shelf and games cupboard. The location of the cottage on the owners farm adds to the experience and enjoyment of the holiday. Our family had a lovely holiday here and my 5 year old daughter became particularly fond of Dallas the bull. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay at Stewards Cottage and we hope to go back again. Mrs M from Wakefield (11 June 2009)
A beautiful location with sea views towards Lindisfarne. Mr B from Bristol (07 June 2009)
