Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the old sawmill. The accommodation was superb and the owner could not have been more friendlier or helpful. Clare from Tamworth (08 August 2014)
Booked at short notice. Never visited shropshire hills before. Delighted with holiday. Lots of stunning scenery and hill-walking to be had. Ludlow is a lovely town and the welsh coast at borth is a must day out. Superb beach, sparsely populated with snowdonia and cambrian hills as a backdrop. . cottage location is great. Country pubs very close, and supermarket in craven arms. Hot tub was fantastic and a great draw. Bbq could be jazzed-up but got by with disposables. Lots of outdoor garden for kids to play in safely. John (the owner) is a helpful bloke and very friendly. . all-in-all, a great holiday and we would love to return. Recommend! Alistair from Great Bardfield (28 July 2014)

Myself and 4 friends spent a lovely girly weekend at the old sawmill in may. The location is gorgeous and the views from the hot tub amazing!. we walked to the local pub on the saturday and had some really tasty food. The accommodation was perfect and had everything we could possibly need. We were all very sad to leave and will definitely be going back one day! Chloe from We Walked To The Local Pub On The Saturday And Had (19 May 2014)
A beautiful cottage. With a welcome bottle of bubbly in the fridge to enjoy in the hot tub. It was quite magical to relax in the tub, reading a book with the cows for company just over the fence. A quiet peaceful break in beautiful surroundings. Timothy from East Sussex (18 April 2014)
Wonderful accoodation, the owner (jj) is very helpful and is a passport around the local area!. great local pubs and restaurants, plenty to see and do. Highly recommend this accomodation. Arthur from Herne Bay (16 August 2013)
Such a lovely cottage with a lot of outside garden space which was enclosed so great for the dogs. Lots of dog walks around the cottage and hot tub was fab! Only negative comment is that 2nd bathroom/ shower room was very small due to sauna (which we didn't use). Mr M from Bargoed (15 October 2012)
Perfect setting and location, peaceful and relaxing. plenty to do in the area. Mr M from Canvey Island (25 June 2012)
Excellent cottage, wonderful host. The view from the hot tub is superb. Mrs B from Ipswich (19 July 2011)

We thought the Old Sawmill was lovely very spacious and in very good condition everthig worked ie constant hot water and a very good choice of sky TV. The garden was very good plenty of space with beautiful view of the countryside. We will go there again. Miss B from London (08 May 2011)
Excellent location of the Old Sawmill in the countryside of Shropshire. The use of a hot tub always appeals to us and the one in the Old Sawmill was ideally located to get the best views while enjoying a soak. Mr L from Basingstoke (06 April 2011)
Booking a holiday in mid September we did not expect the weather to be too good, but it didn't matter with the hot tub, we used it whether it was rainy, sunny or under the stars it was idyllic, particularly watching the owls at night & the Red Kite during the afternoon. Many trips out to explore the countryside all added to our enjoyment. Certainly recommend this cottage for a great breakaway weekend or holiday. Mrs D from Bridlington (02 October 2010)
Excellent holiday, 2nd visit. Can't fault it. JJ an excellent host. Can't wait to go back. Mrs S from Kingswinford (28 August 2010)

We had an excellent weekend break. Our accommodation was exceptionally well appointed, the host was most welcoming and helpful, the area was lovely AND we had great weather and outstanding food in the locality. Perfect. Mrs M from Woking (15 September 2009)
A top place and the photos don't do it justice! All the rooms are perfect, 4 posted bed, Sky TV, the hot tub (which is not over looked at all) and you have a large garden for children. If you want a perfect location for that breakaway then this is it - we will be back again this year! Mr F from Colchester (10 April 2009)
The accommodation was beautifully furnished and well equipped - an excellent place to unwind, especially with the hot tub! Mr H from Newport (29 February 2008)
This was one of the best holidays we have ever had. The combination of the superb scenery and marvellous walks, with a soothing hot tub ready when we returned was fantastic, as was the weather. Ten out of ten for the holiday - highly recommended. Mr C from Upminster (19 August 2006)
Quiet and peaceful and the hot tub is to die for. Mr D from Hemel Hempstead (01 July 2006)
