We had an excellent week staying at the granary. The facilities were very good and the location was central to many places of interest. Our grandchildren had a great time in the games room and playing in the garden. We were all very impressed, and would certainly recommend it to others. Alan from Dover (17 April 2015)
Had an absolutely fantastic time at the granary getting together with a bunch of university mates. Great location to get together and the white lion pub (which is a ten minute walk) has fantastic food and drink!! owners were great!! showed us how everything worked when we arrived and the house was immaculate! will definitely be going back!! Jessica from Leamington Spa (23 February 2015)
Big property with loads of room for everyone to spread out. also large grounds. snooker table is brilliant. Carol from Stoke (02 February 2015)
Fantastic weekend in a beautiful house! Jane from Cheadle (13 October 2014)
Great house! lots of space. Stayed with family, lots of room for the kids to play. My little nephew was kept entertained all weekend with the little ride on digger left in the shed. Big garden and massive field for football or outdoor games.. very relaxed weekend and everything you need. Inc wifi and sky tv. Play station for the kids. The games room was amazing! massive pool table which kept the men entertained. Great communication from the owner ted who gave us a tour on arrival and instructions on how to use all the appliances. We would definitely book again. Great weekend had by all. Christine from Preston (08 September 2014)
Nice looking property in a lovely area, but the photographs don't show the issues with cleanliness. the skirting boards were covered in dust and grime, dirty plates with food crusted on in the cupboard, chipped cups/glasses and lots which just don't match. slugs on the kitchen floor and a number of kitchen cupboard doors loose. real shame as with a week of quality time and some cash spent, this property really could be an executive piece. final point, remember to ignore what the photographer saw. Neil from Rotherham (01 September 2014)
A beautiful and very spacious holiday home, ideal for a very large family, several couples or a couple of families all staying together. . the house was well equipped and we would certainly consider staying here again. . lots to do in the surrounding areas so a great place to stay with the kids, including some lovely local walks. Doug from Suffolk (29 August 2014)
We rented the house for our daughters wedding. We all live in kent but she opted to get married in cheshire. It was absolutely ideal and such a lovely house for my daughter to leave from on her wedding day. Would recommend it strongly to anyone wanting a larger house Confirmed Purchaser (16 June 2014)

This was in many ways a very nice property with some attractive features and facilities, but poorly presented with many items unclean, unmaintained or not working. Ron from Sherborne (16 August 2013)
Yes we would recommend this holiday to others as it was very good. Mrs C from Bromsgrove (12 October 2012)
Brilliant house. Excellent for children. Good base to travel to Chester, Manchester, and Wales. Dr S from Blackburn (20 May 2011)
Fantastic standard of accommodation. Loved the house and the central location it offered. Want to go back. Mr M from Horsham (31 October 2010)
The accommodation was ideal for a large family. It had all necessary luxuries to help you relax and enjoy the super location. The rooms were all tastefully decorated and appropriately furnished. It would make a smashing location for a wedding, party or even Christmas!!! Mrs D from Kettering (08 August 2010)
The accommodation was absolutely first class. We all enjoyed the size of the property and the location. The kids had an absolute ball running around the land. We just want to come back every week end. Many thanks to the owners. Very helpful. Mr D from Burton-On-Trent (25 March 2010)
Fantastic accommodation - warm and friendly and lots of space. Snooker table, football table and PS3 a big hit. Mrs O from Leeds (23 February 2010)
My family and I stayed at The Granary for Christmas and had an absolutely fantastic time! Ted and Tina were more than helpful with all our various questions in the run up to our visit, and we were met by Ted upon arrival who was brilliant when showing us around. He also left us sledges for the kids and extra logs for the fire. The Granary is a fantastic house and more than catered for our every need. The snooker table was in constant use as was the games room for the children. The Granary is in a fantastic location and the Indian restaurant up the road provided an excellent meal on Christmas Eve. I would highly recommend the Lord Combermere pub in Audlem Village - a lovely pub, a great landlord and good food. I would recommend The Granary to anyone looking for a break - the house is enormous, very well equipped and the location is ideal! We would definitely look to return maybe next Christmas or even for a summer break. Mr S from Leeds (06 January 2010)
Extremely comfortable and well equipped cottage for family holiday. Mrs D from Gerrards Cross (25 November 2009)
The property exceeded expectations, large & clean with plenty of space. The owners took the time to ensure we were well informed on the local area, pubs, things to do, and explained how everything in the property worked in thorough detail. There were extra touches, which were unexpected such as milk and teabags left for us too. Would definitely recommend this cottage to families and groups alike. Miss C from Salford (25 November 2009)
The Granary is an excellent holiday venue and ideally situated for many fantastic days out. The accommodation was superb with the snooker table and PS2 getting much usage from the adults and kids. The local Indian restaurant is fantastic and the pubs in Audlem offer pub quizzes and discos throughout the week. I would highly recommend The Granary to anyone who wishes to book a holiday cottage and intend to stay there again in the future. Thanks to Tina and Ted for making it available! Mrs B from Hull (29 September 2009)
I didn't think we could get as good a value as this - our experience was fantastic! Mr C from Leeds (05 June 2009)
Tina and Ted were very welcoming and helpful and the accommodation at The Granary was all that was promised by the information on the website and more. The area offers a wide variety of activities and amenities for all ages, for example Trentham Gardens, Alton Towers, Chester Zoo, and the North Wales coast is not too far away. Our family group spanning three generations had a wonderful time at Te Granary and look forward to returning. Mr H from Bradford (28 May 2009)
