Wonderful holiday. Situated perfectly by the stream, lovely area, great cottage, just needs a little. Make over, . would come again if not too pricey, few things need attention, i.e dripping tap, beds need changing, . a great time had by us anyway, weather helped, Bernard from Skegness (12 June 2015)
Truly great location. The equipment could be upgraded to make it a real 4 star property David from The Equipment Could Be Upgraded To Make It A Real (20 September 2014)
Lovely cottage, with a pleasent and comfy feel. Lots of wildlife about, even fleeting glances if a kingfisher. Kristie (23 August 2014)
Very enjoyable, but bed in main bedroom needs replacing- like sleeping in a hammock! washing machine would also add value. Thomas (11 July 2014)
Lovely quirky barn conversion. Very well equiped, and exceedingly comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. Bedale is close by and have a supermarket as well as take-aways for those cosy night sin. Lots of local eateries a short drive away, and pub grub at the Public house just a few minutes away. We visited so many places and a local agriculture show in our week away. One negative - I would have liked an information booklet in the cottage giving a bit of history on the place and recommendations on local places to go and local amenties, but that is just me. Mrs W from Wolverhampton (12 September 2011)
The Brewhouse is a lovely property set in a beautiful location, and there are many interesting places to visit nearby. We have now stayed there twice and intend to visit again next year! Mr K from Orpington (06 June 2011)
The cottage was fantastic, beautifully converted and in a stunning location. Mrs A from Grantham (03 May 2011)
A romantic, idyllic, quirky little cottage tucked away with its own babbling brook. Cosy log burning fire and spiral staircase. Spotlessly clean and artistically furnished. The whole family loved it! Can't wait to return. Mrs B from Batley (01 May 2011)
This was our first stay in a cottage and we loved it. We had no idea your company could organise cottage holidays as we had always associated them with Canal boats, this holiday highlighted that they are able to offer a diverse selection of holiday options and provide a wonderful experience. I will be recommending them to our friends. Mr M from Mansfield (21 April 2011)
An excellent holiday home with ample space and views of the stream running beside it. The property is in a small village (garage cum local store) with shops in the main town a few minutes drive away. The ideal location to explore the area from. We’d have taken it home had it fitted in the car! Mr W from Fleet (31 December 2010)
There is a dishwasher which was a nice surprise as my recollection is that it was not in the details. The cottage is in a beautiful setting with the stream and field of cows. The village itself is lovely and you can walk from the cottage. A good base for exploring lots of places. Mrs H from Dundee (09 October 2010)
A lovely holiday house in a beautiful, peaceful setting, with lots of interesting places to visit around the locality. Mr K from Orpington (16 August 2010)
A very pleasurable place to stay, very clean and practical. I will definitely be booking again to see the already beautiful area in a different season of the year. Mr C from Huddersfield (12 March 2010)
This cottage provides the ultimate in relaxation. The peacefulness and location ensured we had a superb holiday. Not for those want action and entertainment. mrs M from Louth (13 September 2009)
An ideal location with the property alongside a babbling stream. The village and pub are only a short walk away and easy access to the Yorkshire Dales, with many interesting market towns and villages within a few miles. A well equipped cottage with many individual features. Mr H from Lincoln (21 April 2007)
