Beautiful holiday cottage, with stunning views and the perfect setting for walks and local sightseeing. We were made very welcome by the hosts who live next door, even being included in a deer search when a local spotted a heard nearby. Great for skye visit, and the glenfinnan viaduct , jacobean train journey. Will return to this lovely spot.
Pam from Upper Beeding (10 August 2013)

My wife and I stayed at Stob-Ban View cottage from 3rd Dec to 10th Dec 2012. The cottage is in a fantastic location with fabulous views of Glen Nevis and the hills and mountains surrounding it. The views each morning were stunning!Everything you need is in the cottage but more importantly Terry and Kaye do a fantastic job of making you feel welcome. We've already recommended the holiday home to many of our friends and family. Our break was a perfect 'getaway from it all' just before the madness of Christmas ensues. We were treated to some winter wonderland scenes with a few heavy snowfalls. We also had the pleasure of a tasty Atlantic storm which knocked out the power. This was no problem as it gave us chance to read for a few hours before Terry came to the rescue and hooked up an external generator! Finally, may I recommend a fantastic meal at the Ben Nevis Inn which is a very short walk and also, if you're in Caol then pop into the cafe for a chat and a brew - the locals are very friendly and it's much cheaper than some of the 'tourist' venues in Fort William. So, all in all it was a great break in a beautiful part of Scotland for us to remember for some time.Chris & ClareTamworth, Staffordshire

The location and views are fantastic, and a brilliant area for walking and loads of other activities. The owners were really nice - free mackerel!
Mr H from Aylesbury (14 July 2011)

We had a fantastic stay at Stob Ban View. Location is fantastic. Not in the thick of it but not too far out of Fort William, 20 minute steady walk takes you into the centre. The accommodation is very comfortable with everything you could possibly need. The scones on arrival were very appreciated. The bed could have been more comfortable & spacious as the bedroom could easily hold a kingsize bed. Being located close to the foot of Ben Nevis and other numerous walks then ideally located if you are taking a dog along with you. We found lots of great places to eat & drink.....Grog & Grule (dogs more than welcome), Ben Nevis Inn, Glen Nevis Inn, Spice Tandoori. A great location from which to explore everything Fort William & Scotland has to offer. A must is the gondola ride up Anoch Mor, a trip to Eilean Donan continuing onto the Isle of Skye. If visiting Fort William again I would have no hesitation in booking Stob Ban View again!

Stob Ban View has beautiful views out of large windows, the furnishing is stylish and of a high standard, its location is ideal for exploring the area and the owners are friendly and helpful.
Mrs T from Stevenage (29 May 2011)

Great view of Ben Nevis from cottage window. Great place to unwind and relax.
Mrs C from Motherwell (10 May 2011)

This accommodation is excellent. It is modern, comfortable, warm, and very well equipped. It has fantastic mountain views and is a short walk from the start of the path up Ben Nevis. The owners are very helpful and friendly. There is lots to do in the immediate area if you enjoy the countryside and wildlife. There is a large supermarket within half a mile, and a very goood pub which serves excellent food within a short walk. The whole experience exceeded expectations and we would warmly recommend Stob Ban View to others.
Mrs B from Birmingham (24 April 2011)

I have been on lots of Caribbean holidays and thought I would never beat them. When booking this holiday, I thought it was just going to be a short break from work, however, we had the most fun time ever. Every day was filled with something new, and climbing Ben Nevis was just amazing. Thank you hoseasons for opening my eyes to the beauty of the British Isles, we would definitely recommend this holiday destination to friends and family.
Mr W from Southport (08 March 2011)

Lovely accommodation and scenery. Can be a restful holiday or ideal for walkers.
Mrs H from Newcastle Upon Tyne (14 November 2010)

I would highly recommend this holiday to anyone who loves hill walking in beautiful countyside settings. Location was superb for Ben Nevis, The Ben Nevis Inn and local groceries. Views from within the propery (weather permitting) where second to none - stunning! The accomodation was modern, warm, comfortable and good value for money. We would definitely go again.
Mrs M from Ashford (03 October 2010)

The cottage was amazing with fantastic views. Plenty to do in the area and great little pub at end of road very reasonably priced too.
Mrs H from Lowestoft (23 July 2010)

Stob Ban View was one of the best cottages we have stayed in. The furnishings are all clean, new and in working order. The owners are really friendly and even baked some rock cakes for us on arrival. The view from the apex window down the glen was amazing and if you like walking, the Ben Nevis footpath is only one mile from your doorstep which means you can walk to the start. We would highly recommend this holiday to everyone.
Mr H from Bristol (06 July 2010)

The accommodation was excellent and the location first class. We would definitely recommend Stob Ban view.
Mrs W from Wotton-Under-Edge (01 July 2010)

Great location - close to amenities but still set in a quiet and beautiful location. Within walking distance of, inn serving good food, large supermarket and many good walks close by.
Mr K from Coventry (21 June 2010)

Quality of the accomodation is excellent, even learnt to wash dishes by hand again! Views from "front" windows are spectacular - you can watch the sun rise/set over BenNevis from the comfort of your bed. The Ben Nevis Inn, a mile away, serves good food and drink. Access to the islands is within easy reach and all the usual attractions aren't too far away.
Mrs B from Morpeth (29 May 2010)

Ideal location for walking cycling and climbing. Good pub at the end of the road. Close to the Ben Nevis Visitor Centre.
