Stable cottage is in an amazing location near kielder village, a few hundred yards from kielder castle. Right in the middle of the forest, the cottage is as peaceful and serene as you could hope for. . inside, stable cottage is very comfortable and warm after a cold day's walking around the water. The tv even gets a good signal if you don't fancy an evening under the stars in the perfectly clean hot tub. . three bedrooms are all big enough and comfortable, we had six adults and two infants (in travel cots) no problem. . the only gripe (and i'm sure this can be fixed) is the shower is more of a tap than a spray which can be annoying if you want to clean up. . owners live onsite and are very friendly, ask for a stargate if you need one. Luke from Newcastle Upon Tyne (16 February 2015)
The cottage is in an excellent location with plenty of lovely walks right on the doorstep. We felt it was very well equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The hot tub was a lovely addition. Upstairs within the living/dining area was clean and tidy although we did feel that downstairs is in need of some updating and in some cases a clean. We would stay again. Janet from Newcastle (01 December 2014)
Fantastic location. We found this holiday ticked all the boxes we were looking for,. a pet friendly, outdoor holiday with a great choice of places of interest to visit and explore. We went for 1 week in early september. The cottage was a converted stable, so don't expect 5 star accommodation although the cottage had everything we needed. As this is a pet friendly property don't be suprised or upset if you find one or two hairs from previous canine guests!. the hot tub was great. All in all a great holiday and we would go back again. Ian from Littlehampton (06 September 2014)
Beautifully quiet location, perfect for visiting nearby attractions. Wonderfully relaxing holiday and hot run was lovely after a long walk Lou from Lancashire (31 May 2014)
This accomodation could be lovely if the owners cared enough about their guests and their comments. It is in a beautiful setting but needs to be better equipped, better maintained, cleaned properly with more attention to detail. Jayne from Witham, Essex (26 April 2014)
Very good value for money. Lovely and quiet and great to have a hottub !. saw magnificent ospreys alot in the sky above the cottage . excellent bike hire centre at end of track. Bedrooms are a bit small but living area and equipment compensate. Linda from Norwich (17 August 2013)
An excellent cottage in an idyllic location. However, take the insect repellent as the midges are a bit of a problem. Mrs A from Kirriemuir (02 July 2012)
The hot tub and decking area could have been a bit more private but this did not spoil our holiday. We have booked 2 holidays with hoseasons and hope to book many more accommodation location and value spot on both times very happy with your service! Lady B from Ashington (21 March 2011)
I would recommend this holiday to others, it was beautiful and the owners were helpful and friendly. Everything we needed was provided and the cottage on a whole was perfect. The cottage itself was immaculate and the hot tub was a Godsend on days recovering from walking with the dog. Every room was well presented and clean, with fresh linen and everything you need to cook, relax etc included. There is loads to do and loads of places to explore, we chose to spend the week relaxing and walking around Kielder village but there is more afar. We will definitely book again and I am already looking at deals for the future, thanks to Hoseasons and a massive thank you to the owners, it was beautiful. Miss S from North Shields (13 February 2011)
Excellent location for forest walks, drives and anyone that loves nature. Local attractions include the Leaplish Visitor Centre that had Forest Walks, Motor Boats, Mini Golf, Play Park for the kids, Bird or Prey Centre, Ferry & Tours of the Lake (a complete day or two's adventure on your door step) Also nearby is Kielder Castle at the end of the road which is well worth a visit. £3 per day car parking is transferrable between all Kielder forest and water parks which was useful when visiting several areas around the ake on the same day. Mr S from Colchester (25 July 2010)

Beautiful location and hot tub a treat after lots of outdoor activities. Would recommend staying in this cottage if visiting this picturesque part of Northumberland. Mrs C from Derby (10 June 2010)
Very good communication from the Hoseasons team. Mr K from Northallerton (27 November 2009)
The cottage is in beautiful surroundings with breathtaking views and easy access to some fantastic places to visit. The cottage has everything you need and its really like yours for your stay as you are left to enjoy your holiday, but know if you need anything there are Ann and Peter the caretakers just next door. Excellent if you take your dog as the cottage has a fenced off garden so it was safe for him to sit in, and it is very secluded with no-one walking past when you are in the hot tub. Mr N from Epsom (13 July 2009)
Beautiful location within easy access of most amenities. The hot tub is ideal to wind down after a long day of walking. Miss P from Whitley Bay (13 October 2008)
A very peaceful and beautiful area of the country with lots to see and do. Mrs G from Wakefield (19 May 2008)
