The majority of our stay was great. minor adjustments required. for example bed, hot tub upgrade, glass selection. minor things though! Andrew from Insch (10 July 2015)
We had a brilliant week at honeysuckle cottage 5th - 12th june, 2015. david was very welcoming and friendly. the cottage is as described on the website, in a lovely location within easy reach of many attractions along the english/welsh border. we had a wonderful ride through some stunning countryside on the b roads from selattyn to llangollen. Would highly recommend both of david's cottages. Carol from York (12 June 2015)
Lovely weekend break. David, the proprietor, was very welcoming and made sure everything was as it should be for us. Property was spacious yet cosy, and very clean. Lots of effort made in keeping the hot tub clean too which was reassuring. Steve from St Helens (09 March 2015)
A fabulous property which met the description. The undercover hot tub was amazing and really made the property special. We recommend a trip to ellesmere for a walk around the mere and also a visit to powis castle. Helen from Midlands (17 November 2014)
The only reason why we probably won't stay at this super cottage again is that we like to explore a different part of england every time we go on holiday. This is a great conversion, comfortable and warm with everything you need. What you don't see in the photos is that there is also a dining table and chairs for those that don't want to perch on the bar stools. The wet room with underfloor heating is wonderful, but the best thing is of course the hot tub! there isn't a washing machine but david very kindly did all our washing for us (thank you!). there are lovely views from the bedroom windows and plenty of interesting places to go to nearby. All in all a super cottage!. Sally from Germany (24 October 2014)
Great place to stay, central to going out sightseeing. It was comfy and well equipped (although the tv remotes could do with being replaced) the hot tub with this cottage is under cover which means it can be used in any weather and was a great way to end the day. The cottage was advertised as having a washing machine but this wasn't the case although it wasn't a problem for us. Graham from Ipswich (10 October 2014)
Stunning cottage in a great location easy access to lots of nice walking areas worth a visit to llangollen and ellesmere too. Hot tub is amazing! david and judy are very welcoming-cant wait to go back! Gemma from Hyde (08 September 2014)
Cottage was fab covered in hot tub was brilliant Louise from Sunderland (22 August 2014)
We loved our stay at honeysuckle cottage and will returning soon. unlike many self catering cottages honeysuckle cottage has everything you may need on arrival so thank you david and your family for making our holiday a perfect one, just wished we had stayed longer as so much more to explore locally and the hot tub was the perfect after a long day exploring. Tracy from Gloucester (08 August 2014)

Really good location, lots of things to do and places to visit. A lovely relaxing cottage. Andrew from Yorkshire (11 July 2014)

NO 1: The peace and quiet. NO2: The welcome from David and his father George was very welcoming. Theres so much I can say about the cottage. I will sum it up in one scentence, 5 star accommodation! Would recommend to anyone. The hot tub was welcoming after a days sightseeing. Have already booked for next year! Mr N from West Drayton (19 August 2011)
Absolutely brilliant, great place, great owner, would definitely recommend a holiday here, i'd go again. Mr W from Newcastle Upon Tyne (26 June 2011)
This was the cleanest cottage we have ever had the fortune to rent. We were wowed from the moment we arrived. The owner was so helpful but was not intrusive at all. The location was great, while the cottage was only five minutes from Oswestry, we felt we were in the middle of the countryside. The hot tub was fantastic - no expense has been spared with this holiday home. Mrs N from Barnsley (04 May 2011)
Country cottage with lovely views. Modern, clean interior. Friendly and helpful owners. Mr B from Worcester Park (24 April 2011)

Beautiful location. Gorgeous cottage, modernized barn. Modern interior but still with the country cottage feel. Owners are very nice and extremely welcoming. Hotter - BRILLIANT! Would definitely visit again and definitely recommend! Needs more photos on the website to show people just how fab this place is. Mrs P from Warrington (22 February 2011)
Very nice cottage, owner are brilliant, Hoseasons customer service was great making for an excellent holiday. Mr W from Bristol (03 November 2010)
The cottage was fantastic, attention to detail was great and the welcome from the exceptionally nice family was outstanding. Beautiful bouquet on arrival and choice of wine also. Hot tub was awesome. Location is very good for visiting places, chester, wales etc. The owner even offered to drop us off at a local hotel for our evening meal and indeed come back and pick us up so we could both have drinks with our meal. How nice is that! Very peaceful location but only two miles to the nearest little town that had a more than adequate selection of supermarkets and places to eat. Would not hesitate to recommend this holiday to anyone. We had a fabulous time there, and will definitely go back. Mrs G from Dundee (22 September 2010)
Great cottage hot tub was wonderful a very relaxing holiday. Mr L from Oxford (01 July 2010)
The holiday cottages are first rate and the owners are lovely, helpful people who are on hand if you need anything. The furnishings are luxurious and comfortable and the outdoor hot tub is a must!!! The location is great with some stunning views for us town folk but with good local amenities close by in Oswestry. We loved our stay here, would recommend the cottages to anyone. Mrs B from Tipton (08 June 2010)
Excellent accommodation, in a beautiful location and an ideal base from which to visit many local places of interest. The owner is extremely helpful and will most definitely be returning again soon! Mr H from Isle Of Man (28 April 2010)
A lovely little cottage run by friendly, helpful people, I would highly recommend Honeysuckle Cottage to anyone wanting to take a quiet, luxurious break away from it all. Ms M from Shrewsbury (26 January 2010)
