Unfortunately we found that this holiday park is right next to the main dual carriageway road going across the country so very noisy if windows are open. also my needs as an asthmatic were only half addressed leading to a very uncomfortable first night - we asked for the lodge to be well aired, it smelt of smoke including the bedding, and for the air freshners to be removed in advance but they were still located in the worse smelling rooms. this is a shame as it is located in a beautiful area and the lodge was mostly clean although the bathroom skirting boards were very dirty in places. Good holiday plenty of wildlife Stephen from Bedlington (27 September 2014)
One of the best lodges we have stayed in for some time! the owner had left us a welcome pack which was a real bonus. He was very helpfull and we would definately recommed this site. there was plenty of wildlife to watch from our lodge in peaceful surroundings and it even had a lake to walk round. Easy access to the lakes and dales. Great holiday! Geraldine from Bexhill-On-Sea (20 September 2014)
Lovely lodge, peaceful location, great for the lakes and the dales. Very welcome welcome pack on arrival Karen from Doncaster (01 August 2014)
More basic than I expected but nevertheless a clean comfortable holiday lodge Samantha from Taunton (18 July 2014)

What a fantastic location for an escape from reality! Beautiful accommodation, peaceful countryside and wildlife right on your doorstep. I would highly recommend this property for a tranquil break away, we felt looked after and cared for and had everything we could wish for. Perfect! Miss A from Grantham (22 April 2011)

The lodge was very clean and like home from home and the on site represensitive was extremley helpful. The location was ideal for nearby towns with good local ammenities and places to eat. Mr D from Leeds (05 June 2009)
The site is located close to the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and Northumberland with lovely scenery and good walking and sightseeing opportunities. It is peaceful and close to a small village with shops, pub meals and excellent fish and chips. Locals are friendly and accommodation excellent. Mrs B from March (31 May 2008)
Very peaceful location and litterally one mile downhill to the two pubs in Brough! Excellent accommodation, it was like walking in to a showhome - I would definitely recommend this property. Mr S from Ware (19 August 2006)
