The cottage is in a picturesque location and ideal for relaxing and getting away from it all. The facilities are excellent, having a gym and swimming pool with a jacuzzi. The bed was very comfortable and ensured a good nights sleep. The kitchen was more than adequately equipped. The cottage is a little off the main routes which meant a bit more travelling to get around (we were visiting friends and family), but it was worth it for the peace and quiet. Barton marina is nearby and has a lot to offer. There are good shopping outlets at burton, which is not far away, and tamworth. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We had an enjoyable week staying in the groom's cottage. The location is great for exploring the staffordshire countryside. . there are a couple of things which could be altered to enhance the stay. Confirmed Guest from There Are A Couple Of Things Which Could Be Altere (15 June 2015)
A really comfortable, warm, clean cottage, very friendly owners, amazing swimming pool. lots of things to do in the area, even in february. the marina in barton is worth more than one visit, there is even a cinema, and a wonderful butcher/delicatessen. Michaela from Leeds (27 February 2015)

The cottage was in a very peaceful and quiet location. we visited the potteries in stoke, the memorial arboretum, the amazing chatswoth house and gardens. lichfield a lovely old historic town with lots to see, home of darwin's grandfather and samuel johnston. Carolyn from Dunblane (10 October 2014)
We had a great time! lovely location. the pool was excellent. we found a number of interesting places near by - cannock chase and lichfield cathedral and town centre were our favourite places to visit. hopefully we will visit again. Sarah from Bristol (03 October 2014)
Perfect except no iron/board and few cobwebs. Also postcode stated is incorrect making it difficult to locate but it was a lovely break and we would definitely go back and recommend to fsmily/friends. Andrew (29 August 2014)
