There was a leak from the radiator pipe in the upstairs bedroom, which was too small for a double bed as the fireplace shelf sticks into the room making it difficult to manoeuvre. We had to pull the bed forward to be able to use it safely. the kitchen was dirty, with the sides of the cooker filthy. . the hot tub however was fabulous. Christine from High Wycombe (03 April 2015)
Lovely cottage and tge hot tub is fab Victoria from Nottingham (01 February 2015)
We have stayed here before, and has always been the cottage on its own the owner have now built a lodge park pretty much next door so it's not as private as it used to be. The house is lovely could do with a little bit of paint touch ups etc but doesn't detract from it. The maintenance man and other staff were really helpful when it came to sorting out a minor problem and keeping the hot tub full and hot. Sophie from Barnsley (25 January 2015)
Only put a 7 for equipment as the heating broke but the owners were so lovely and helped with portable heaters and even compensy me when I didn't even ask! would happily stay here again with friends! Arun from Birmingham (18 January 2015)
We booked the cottage to host a family christmas day and it proved to be just great for everyone to join us. The only negative was the poor wifi access to the cottage Debbie (28 December 2014)
Brilliant holiday, very helpful staff and lovely area! lovely cottage, got everything you need. Excellent! Hannah from Rotherham (23 November 2014)
Lovely cottage, staff very friend and very helpful Linda from Cranwell Village (16 November 2014)
We hired the cottage for 8 people over the weekend and it was great. The facilities covered everything we needed, there were ships close by to stock up food with too. . . lovely area but may be a little out of the way for some people if you're staying for a while and have time to waste. . we had a great weekend and would recommend this place to other people. Imran from Bridgend (19 October 2014)
Good value for money if there is 8 of you. Lovely house!! Sarah from Abingdon (07 September 2014)
Fantastic house. A real home from home. Play area nearby and lots of walks. Rachael from Chard (29 August 2014)
The main problem with this cottage is that it is in the middle of a holiday pack with a cabin right next to it. the kitchen was poorly equipped for a place that was supposed to provide for seven and didn't even have a can opener. Richard from Coventry (08 August 2014)
A leaking roof - leaked 3 times during our stay - that had clearly leaked before. No-where near the 5* they claimed (from a few years ago) with eg dirty kitchen drawers, a sausage down the side of the cooker, etc. The promised internet doesn't reach into the house - I was sat outside in the rain trying to plan the next day's activities. And they refused to recognise this as being worthy of any compensation, describing our holiday as meeting "their usual high standards" or words to that effect!! Andrew from Carlise (06 June 2014)
Absolutely fantastic holiday would definitely go again, had bad weather while we were there but the hot tub made it bearable. Lovely villages great for shopping and plenty local for childrens entertainment, including a great park a two minute walk from the cottage. Clare from Hull (30 May 2014)
My main issue with bridge house was the massive ants nests in down stairs cupboard and the state of the garden so called open pond was filled with house bricks, foot path was unsafe huge caps either side of slaps and the nettles where outrages we had young children which made matters worse Craig (26 May 2014)
This house was in fact way nicer than the photos managed to convey, very cosy and cottage like inside with a free standing bath which was not mentioned. although near a main road it was wonderfully secluded and we loved the hot tub and garden. i would recommend this cottage to anyone and may return myself one day Ms M from Nottingham (12 October 2012)
Lovely house in a lovely location. 3 adults and 2 kids had a wonderful time here - hot tub was a great bonus! Mrs C from Piltown (24 September 2010)
