Aymestrey Lodges

Aymestrey Lodges consists of four lodges, each with its own outdoor hot tub. Aymestrey is on Herefordshire, and is located about 7 miles north of Leominster, on the A4110.

A week in Aymestrey Lodges

We chose to take our holiday to Aymestrey Lodges during the summer holidays. We had ventured to this part of the country before - when we stayed at the magnificent Black Hall Lodges, just up the road in Shropshire. We stayed in the largest of the lodges, the "Aymestrey Oak", which sleeps up to 6 people. There were four of us in the party- two adults, and two children; so the lodge was plenty big enough for us all to move around in without getting under one another's feet. The other lodges situated on the park are : The Aymestrey Oak lodge is tucked away in the corner of the small, but perfectly formed park. There is decking around the veranda, with outside dinning furniture, and the much looked forward to out door hut tub.

Inside the lodge is a nicely furnished large lounge/dinning area, with a kitchen containing everything you would expect from a modern holiday lodge of this quality - washing machine, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Along the hallway are three separate bedrooms, and one bathroom.

The hot tub could quite comfortably sit 6 people, so sharing the lodge with friends wouldn't be a problem. Our youngest child thought we had are own swimming pool!

The park is situated just off the A4110. This road is large enough to make getting to and from the lodges easy enough. Leominster is only about 15 minutes away, and has all the necessary things you need for your holiday - restaurants, takeaways, shops. There is also a large Morrisons supermarket on the Aymestrey side of Leominster too.

If you fancy dining out without the need to drive, there is a pub/restaurant about 100 metres up the road, be careful though, the paths are quite narrow. The pub is set in a rather nice location, with outside tables positioned on the banks of a small river.

Will Aymestrey Lodges suit you?

The park is a small peaceful setting. If peace and quiet is your thing, Aymestrey could well be the holiday park for you
