The location of this site is superb and would take me back there again. Paul from Lancashire (30 August 2015)
We had a great holiday year 22 with eurocamp Beverley from Uttoxeter (23 August 2015)
Lovely small, friendly campsite, the family really enjoyed the campsite. On of the bestswimming pools ive been in(twice daily) Gary (17 August 2015)
Overall, a very nice campsite but it would have been great if there had been more activities for kids (e.g. Water-based activities), and for eurocamp families to socialise. We felt very isolated despite the crowded campsite, especially as almost everyone else was dutch so we didn't have any kindred spirits. Rebecca from Cambridge (09 August 2015)
Great campsite near lake. No actual lake views from pitches, and pitches quite close together, but really good parc. Very quiet after 11, so great for families. Good facilities and great swimming pools. Good lake beach just a few minutes walk away, with nice cafe. Eurocamp courier, ian, very nice bloke and very helpful. Could do with knowing bit more about local area though. Get the ferry to sirmione, rather than doing expensive tour. Verona well worth a visit too. 45 mins away. Robin from Canterbury (31 July 2015)
We loved zocco, pitches are small but the friendly internationally atmosphere was just what we were after. A beautiful pool which the children loved (despite having to wear hats), the clear warm waters of lake garda at the sites own beach and a great on site restaurant. Onsite facilities were all immaculate. May from Nottingham (28 July 2015)
We had a wonderful holiday spoilt by the strike at calais getting home. p& o would not speak to us and kept hanging up. the only way we could get home was to pay 231 euros to eurotunnel. therefore the money you paid to p&o for our ticket should be refunded. Irene from Lowestoft (30 June 2015)
First time at one, loved it.. I will go again. Chris from Aberdeen (15 June 2015)
Thank you for a lovely holiday! we loved the site! Helen from Chester (01 June 2015)
The parc is very well laid out @ the facilities on site are excellent. Customer 10 (24 May 2015)
Very disappointed with the view from our caravan Roger from Devon (17 September 2014)
Frankly, our experience suggests that sites in italy can't match up to the french ones, although we had a better experience with eurocamp in tuscany last year. For us, zocco was a cheap short break;if it hadn't been we would have been very disappointed. We were in a mobile and they felt as if they had been squeezed in at the edge of the site. One advantage - there was no-one behind us, but from the decking the only view we had was of a row of mobiles covered in tarpaulins and looking rather like a shanty town. The site is on the lake but you have no view from the eurocamp pitches. Peter from Chester (06 September 2014)
Pauline and her husband norman were great!! we are from the usa and this is our first time. it was awesome, despite the rains!! Reed from Asheville Nc Usa (24 August 2014)
The tents were too close together and there was only a few tents that you can park next to. for the money eurocamp charges, customers should be able to park next to their tent, especially as the car is important and secure storage. Customer 14 (23 August 2014)
It was a lovely pitch, although a little more room would have been benififishal to reduce noise. The tent had everything we could need and the euro camp staff pauline and norman were fantastic. They greated us on our late arrival, were friendly with our family and gave great advice for visits in the area. The site was really clean and the pool and lake do close made our holiday. I may have enjoyed the holiday as a whole more out of season. I must say I would use eurocamp again and liked the service provided. Philip from Kent (17 August 2014)
Excellent! Richard from Sherborne, Dorset (13 August 2014)
We enjoyed our week at zocco - despite the weather being unusually bad. My reservations about the camp were arguably that the pitches are very close together and neighbouring campers were often noisy at night. The site is bang on the lake and the children loved swimming there and in the pool. However, to get anywhere else seemed always to involve driving along very uninteresting and congested roads past supermarkets and garden centres. The camp cafe was good - if limited. The shop was also limited. Eleanor from Mulhouse (France) (03 August 2014)
Lovely site, nice big pool, shower blocks and kitchen area kept very clean. our eurocamp reps were always keen to help out if we had any questions. would be happy to go back again or try another site. Nicholas from Northiam (01 August 2014)
Quite hard to review properly as each area, with the exception of the couriers, was a case of good and bad. The main issue we had, and just a case of bad luck I on know, was being in a tent next door to a group of teenagers/early 20s who were doing what teenagers/early 20s do: loud music, coming back from the nearby disco at 4am and then discussing the nights activities noisily! the problem was that we were so close to their tent, literally a foot back to back. I've been eurocamping a number of times and I have never known a site so cramped, with tents so close together. The parc itself is well maintained and has a very good pizzeria offering really good value for money. The pool area is well maintained. The couriers are great and a real credit to eurocamp. Unfortunately, the lack of space for us really undermined the positives. I know the realities of camping, and that sites are ultimately businesses trying to maximise income, but I don't think the balance is right here. Stephen from London (01 August 2014)
Few amenities, no entertainment, small pebbly beach and nowhere to walk to. The surrounding area is spectacular but you have to drive to experience it. We were attracted by the zocco site being relatively quiet but found that our teenage boys did not have enough to do. In 2014 you expect to have wifi that works. Confirmed Holidaymaker (31 July 2014)
Lovely holiday, wouldn't go to lake garda again. jura site was extremely nice and more like the holiday site we were looking for. Confirmed Holidaymaker (23 July 2014)
Very good overall. No complaints and very happy with the service. Graham from Bridgnorth (20 July 2014)
Very enjoyable holiday in beautiful part of the world. Spectacular thunderstorms at night and loud music from a distant show meant we didn't get much sleep for the first few nights but this couldn't be helped! reps helpful and pleasant, as we're other companies staff. The only downside was the lack of activities for our 6-yr-old. Fiona from Argyll (18 July 2014)
Lovely site in an idyllic setting. Very well kept with a gorgeous pool and immaculate wash blocks. Nice restaurant. Friendly campsite staff and fabulous eurocamp couriers Kate from London (18 July 2014)
We had a great time in this part of italy. Zocco was clean and part sheltered by olive trees. Having the lake close to hand was brilliant for a cool dip at the end of the day. A minor grumble was the limited parking by pitches. The site staff were very helpful even though our flight delay led to our arrival after midnight. The couriers pauline and norman were great. They even brought our washing in when it rained and we were out of the site. Thankyou for a great holiday! Andrew from Potters Bar (17 July 2014)
We had a great time on lovely and lake garda and would definitely want to come back again. Rachel (12 July 2014)
We really enjoyed our holiday. we have been to this lovely parc previously (the last time 9 years ago) and were delighted that it was exactly the same! less busy than august 9 years ago. Confirmed Holidaymaker from Winchester (04 July 2014)
Right in front of the chalets are long term italian caravans which have additional tenting added to them. the result makes the area look like a refugee camp, not very nice views for when you want to sit on the terrace. Paul from Cheshire (30 June 2014)
Lake garda is a beautifull setting for a relaxing holiday with no shortage of picturesque places to visit within a very short distance. Everything was well organised. All we had to do was arrive in the car, open the fridge in the tent and enjoy our welcome drink. Michael from Lymington Hampshire (29 June 2014)
Great site and enjoyable stay here. We arrived and the couriers were very welcoming and let us know what was available on site and locally. They genuinely wanted us to have a good experience at zocco. There is plenty to do on site with the beautiful pool which wasn't busy. It also closed between 1-3pm which was a curious enforced siesta! which we didnt mind at all. Weather was good so cant comment on how it would be otherwise. Had a day in venice which is within reach and worth doing.brilliant day. Zocco 10/10 thanks pauline and norman eurocamp couriers you are excellent at your job. Brian (29 June 2014)
Fantastic reps, camp shuts 1-3 everyday. Not known this at other eurocamp sites. Richard (27 June 2014)
Mobiles not best sited as not good views. Michael from Sutton Coldfield (25 June 2014)
A disgusting dirty accommodation, I left after the first day John from Bacup (25 June 2014)
Our courier pauline and her husband were by far the highlight of our holiday. Always on hand to help and provide information my daughter and I were so grateful if their knowledge..an absolute assett to eurocamp..:-) Dawn (15 June 2014)
This was one park of three in our holiday. The other two were in france - chalon sur saone and lac du chalain - generally superior sites. Zocco - plots are naff - very small and facing a row of shanty town like old caravans and awnings - in fairness not that critical if like us you want to get out and explore the region. Accomodation - mobile homes look a bit tired. Couriers - probably the best i've met. Value for money - I would say good, but a week before I was due to leave eurocamp kindly sent me an email showing I could have saved about £300 (half the price of the holiday) if I had not booked early and left it to the last minute - a lesson for next year) Stuart from Chippenham (12 June 2014)
We are total eurocamp converts after our stay at zocco. Really impressed with the tent, especially the beds which were very comfy. Norman and pauline were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome - had a lot of fun with norman, what a great chap! already planning our next eurocamp holiday.. Jennie from Caerphilly (03 June 2014)
Zocco is a lovely park. we went in may half term and it was very quiet. the couriers were excellent and very helpful. we called them before we arrived to find out about restaaurant opening hours, as our flight had been delayed and we were arriving late. pauline and norman phoned me back to say they had spoken to the owners who would keep the restaurant open late for us so we could eat when we arrived. The restaurant was very good value, with pizzas starting from 4 euros. they also offer takeaway. the camp shop was fairly basic, but sold everything we needed. there was fresh bread daily, and a selection of wine and beers. this was all reasonably priced. The staff on site were all friendly and helpful. the pool was lovely and very clean - swimming hats are compulsary. the lake is a beautiful place to relax. . if you want a lively/busy camp, this is not the place for you, but for a friendly, relaxing holiday this is an excellent choice. Vanessa from Sutton (01 June 2014)
My son and I had such a lovely time! everyone who worked on site was really friendly and helpful. We miss camp zocco and hope to return another time! Salli (31 May 2014)
The parc owners looked after us extremely well. the food at the restaurant was excellent and the coffee in the morning over-looking the lake was wonderful. not at all the fault of zocco or our eurocamp reps but the accomodation was really not good. cold, uncomfortable and shabby. Confirmed Holidaymaker (31 May 2014)
Only there for 1 night Craig from Chester (30 May 2014)
Having just got from italy, I can say without doubt that we will definitely be coming back to cap zocco. My girlfriend and I both loved every minute of our week there. The views are second to none, the facilities are amazing, the pool is fantastic and the staff made us feel very welcome and were always happy to help us with any questions we had. The area is quite isolated from the major transport links at desenzano and there aren't (m)any buses travelling through so I would say that having your own transport is key, but there are great places to walk/cycle to in the nearby area, like dusano and la rocca, which offer some spectacular views of lake garda and the alps. Highly recommended. Ian from Newcastle Upon Tyne (22 May 2014)
We had an amazing holiday! the parc itself was small and quiet which wasn't a problem at all as we hired a car so we could really explore the lake. We found everything we needed for an amazing trip was there, and pauline and norman our eurocamp representatives were amazing! they always made theirselves accessible to us and had a great knowledge of the area, we couldn't have asked for a better welcome. We would not hesitate to book again and are already planning our next break! Lisa from Manchester (18 May 2014)
We all had a really great holiday. the campsite is laid back and friendly, the lake is right there and the swimming pools are excellent. its a great site for seeing the lake garda sites, assisted by very helpful tips form the excellent eurocamp reps pauline (and norman). Tom from London (25 August 2013)
This was one of the best eurocamp holidays we have had.(we've had 8). the location and wider area was stunning, with a perfect mix of chill out by the lake and explore other villages around the lake and ideally located to visit the beautiful cities of venice and verona. . our couriers pauline and norman were fantastic, always on hand to ask advice or just to have a chat. We would definitely come back, and are going to persuade our friends to do the same. Nicola from Chippenham (25 August 2013)
This holiday parc is perfect.we particularly enjoy the direct chess to the lke bech which is never overcrowded Beverley from Uttoxeter (25 August 2013)
We took the fern pass route back, recomended by the reps. We had traffic delays which might be worth noting when recommending this route. Otherwise it was beautiful to see. For some tents there was a lack of parking. Morris from Glos (18 August 2013)
Site was a little cramped, but the proximity to the lake and the excellent couriers made it a pleasant holiday. John from Oxford (30 Jul 2013)
Thanks pauline and norman for being great couriers. You were both so helpful and friendly and we'd recommend the camp to anyone- we may even be back ourselves in the future. We've just got back from verona- our final leg of the tour. We're sad to be back but pleased to have such an amazing time and zocco was one of the highlights. Thanks again- paul and karen x Paul from Liverpool (24 Jul 2013)
Zocco is a great park. Very relaxed the swimming pools provided everything we needed and the lake is only a two minute walk from the tent. The weather was brilliant even the thunder storm one night was tremendous to watch. All round good holiday. It was our first with eurocamp and will not be the last. The park was great. There were very few brits but the dutch, norwegians and italians were very friendly. Ryan from Dunfermline (13 Jul 2013)
Overall a great holiday. The parc suited us as it was quiet and toddler friendly. Eurocamp couriers pauline and norman were outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We will definately come back. Christopher from Kiel Germany (06 Jul 2013)
Camping zocco is very easy to find and is not too far from the autostrada. Where ever you go there are stunning views of lake garda. Plenty to see and do. All in all a very relaxing holiday. Michael from Lymington (15 Jun 2013)
The best holiday ever!! peaceful and relaxing parc, with easy access to the local port for access to other towns/resorts around the lake Mark from Staffordshire (12 Jun 2013)
We've had an excellent holiday at zocco in lake garda. Our couriers pauline and norman were outstanding. This is the best park and service that we've ever received from eurocamp. The park was a perfect size for our small family, with a playground, pool, direct access to the lake, pizzeria and free wifi. Fab value. Louise from Redditch (02 Jun 2013)
We love this site on zocco lake garda. Short walk to the lake and it had everythings on site. Clean wc block really love this place. Errol from Birmingham (30 May 2013)
