Travelled as 2 adults in our 30s. Great location, we will definitely return to salo and this part of the lake. Staying at this parc makes this location affordable. staff of the main site/reception were great and extremely helpful. Vert from Devon (16 September 2015)
Lake garda, as always was beautiful. The site was clean and the staff extremely friendly. Meals bought in the site restaurant were good value for money. however, the site is very steep and the advertised access to lake was actually a very steep concrete track to approximately 100 yards of lakeside between private dwellings. Victoria from Dudley (13 September 2015)
Fantastic location stunning views lovely pool although not enough sun beds and people would just leave there towels on the beds and go off that was annoying. Check in time was the latest time we have ever experienced 4pm just felt so late in the day and check out at 10 felt a little unfair. But we will definitely go back to this site. Also the restaurant was really very good and reasonable Kerry (30 August 2015)
Fantastic holiday! we felt the couriers did not give us any details about the area.it is such a fantastic place and we felt we could do a better job after 6 days there!! Maria from Cheltenham (29 August 2015)
Fantastic holiday in a superb location. Campsite very well run, thankyou edith for all your advice and help. Lovely bar and restaurant, would really love to go back there again. I dont think anywhere else could beat the views. Lynn from Hailsham (29 August 2015)
A really lovely, friendly campsite with beautiful views over the lake and a great adventure playground and fitness area for the kids, as well as the pool. The restaurant did fantastic food. We met some lovely people. My only criticisms are the seemingly pointless requirement to wear swimming caps (not explained anywhere) and that the entertainment was pretty much all in german so the kids didn't join in much, but they had a great time with the friends they made regardless. Beautiful surrounding area with plenty to see and would definitely recommend. Kelly from Birmingham (26 August 2015)
Had a very enjoyable time but felt at this parc the accommodation was too close and the roads around the parc much too narrow. restaurant and bar very nice and stunning views. Amanda from Beverley (23 August 2015)
Very relaxing, accommodation a bit tired. Iain from Saltburn By Th Sea (21 August 2015)
The campsite is lovely although quite cramped, climbing the hill to our accommodation was getting tiresome in 38 degree heat! swimming pool and restaurant area was lovely and food served in the restaurant was great and at a good price. . the biggest disappointment was the accommodation, we had a vista plus 2 bed caravan! there was defiantly some clever photography on the web site and in the brochure, in reality the caravan was tiny, it was a good job the weather was so nice, and we're able to sit outside, we would have struggled to get 4 of us in the lounge area comfortably! we didn't find the eurocamp rep very friendly saw her on arrival very dour demeanour about her, she came to the caravan on the last day to check every thing was ok and that was it!! I waved to her in passing several times whilst at the campsite with no acknowledgment at all not really the sort of thing I would expect from a rep!!!! Robert from Bury St Edmunds (09 August 2015)
The camp overall was lovely. Located in the mountains with great views of lake garda. The toilets/showers and pool were lovely and clean as was everywhere else. The camp had a regular swimming pool and then a children's pool which has a sprinkler and a small boat slide suitable for small children. The best bit of the pool area was the big slide which at the top of you could see all of the lake before plunging into spotty dogs shallow pool. The park has three fantastic parks for children that had exercise equipment, zip wires and archery activities. The tent had plenty of room although the storage and fridge was disappointing. the restaurant served gorgeous food at reasonable prices and the shop also had a good selection of products again quite reasonable. The camp is small and quiet and not over crowded which meant that we felt safe enough to allow our 11, 8 and 4 year old to go off and explore a little. A few negative points there are not enough sun loungers around the pool for the amount of guests, there's no parking by your tent. There's a small patch of grass just inside the enterance that can be used if lucky enough to get a space other wise it's outside of the park on a feild. The fridge/freezer in this tent was very small in comparison to the fridge/freezers we've had in previous eurocamp tents and we did not get the usual welcome pack of bag ball and playing cards. The reps heinz and edith were rather miserable and were not available to meet us on arrival. They were too tired to give us the tour once we did get to meet them. This was a little disappointing but the biggest problem here is the entertainment it's non existent for adults. There is a program for children but again very poor and some of the key activities such as pony rides are only available if you book but this is not stated any where on the boards around the park so I had a very disappointed daughter. thankfully we had packed plenty of games incase it rained so of an evening we would play those instead. . although there was a few negative points none of them detracted from our holiday at all and we would go back again. one thing to remember when packing for this camp is a swimming cap as it's compulsory in the pools. Rebecca from Stoke On Trent (08 August 2015)
The park's location is stunning, with fantastic views. The park restaurant was excellent for the quality of food and also excellent value. The only complaint I would have is that the accommodation wasn't v clean. The bathroom and bedroom were not cleaned thoroughly. I had to purchase products to clean them. Pillows were stained and not adequate covers provided. Steven (05 August 2015)
A very well run site with excellent animators for the children. Elaine from Bath (31 July 2015)
Very disappointing. Laura from Comrie (18 July 2015)
We had reserved a mobile home at zocco campsite. The eurocamp mobile homes on that site looked out onto a "shanty town" of old caravans, tatty tents and plastic sheeting. Fortunately eurocamp had another mobile home available at weekend campsite nearby so we were able to upgrade. The eurocamp staff were very sympathetic and helpful, especially ian at zocco and edith at weekend. The rest of our holiday was very enjoyable. John from Sheffield (14 July 2015)
Overall a reasonable holiday, but with some sharp contrasts between the two parcs we visited. Georgina from Gloucester (30 June 2015)
Our experience was great. The only problems we had were the terrible service we received at the restaurant when they had plenty of staff on and our blankets needed washing. Tim from Sorrento /Australia (26 June 2015)
The camp is well-managed, clean and the facilities are great. Parking adjacent to the lower level eurocamp mobile homes was an issue as not enough space to park and manouvre. Ronald from Halstead, Essex (26 June 2015)
Excellent camp site, great location for lake garda, brilliant for kids! Robert (24 June 2015)
We were worried on arrival at how small the pitches were and parking spaces very small. as we had the end mobile we had some privacy but many looked onto next doors decking. not nice when eating. however loved weekend for position and walks into salo round lake Suzanne from Frinton On Sea (22 June 2015)
The holiday was amazing, really enjoyed out time in italy. The location is fantastic and really is in the best place on the lake. The weather was amazing and the caravan thankfully had air con! Michael (17 June 2015)
Fabulous family holiday setting. There was enough to keep a four year old happy on site and lots to do around garda itself. The restaurant was good and the children's entertainers worked really hard. Amelia loved it. However, the children's indoor play area was mostly shut and we couldn't use it and the vista accommodation although adequate was very uncomfortable. I expected more from the accommodation. Will definitely go back though! Lorraine from Blackpool (10 June 2015)
Lovely position, great views, clean and the on site restaurant and staff very good. All the parc personnel I found to be excellent. The chalets are quite close together, so if you are using the shower or other its a bit awkward to have the window open as the other chalet decking is only a foot away. Phil from Bournemouth (31 May 2015)
Lovely site, well kept and very clean, restaurant very good value for money, local area fantastic. Edith and heinz, the eurocamp rep's were amazing. Andrea (25 May 2015)
The views over lake garda are absolutely stunning. The park is well maintained and the restaurant serves an excellent pizza. A great family campsite. Simon (24 May 2015)
Great site in great location. Couriers very helpful, sam in particular went out of her way to help us with a problem. 2 minor gripes: coffee filter cups had been removed from all accomodation (health and safety hazard!) and eurocamp did not let us know in advance (i'd have taken my own)so we couldn't make a cup of coffee for a couple of days. the other gripe is why have an emergency light in the bedroom that flashes every 10 seconds - not conducive to a good sleep. Ken from Nottingham (08 September 2014)
Campsite was small but ideally placed and our mobile overlooked the lake which was wonderful. restaurant setting was very good and food also good. Lunchtime snacks were not good. Small shop but larger supermarkets nearby. Not enough sunbeds around the pool and gardens. Julie from Manchester (06 September 2014)
Excellent. we had a fantastic time. we wanted good for grown ups and our 3 year old and it was exactly what we got. Highly recommend it and we hope to return soon. Neil from Lincoln (06 September 2014)
Enjoyed our stay on the site and the chalet was clean and had all the equipment needed Jeannette from Nottingham (30 August 2014)
The weather wasn't as good as we expected. The parc, although close to the lake, was up an extremely steep hill from the lake so we really had to drive to the lake . Darren from Rochester (30 August 2014)
Great campsite, superb restaurant friendly and helpful staff, good swimming pool, great slide and views of the lakes. Mobile home basic and quite small, damp at night, had to keep contents away from windows, fantastic hot shower! Matthew (30 August 2014)
A lively, busy campsite ideal for children and their families. Shame about the weather but found lots to do in the area. Tents are clean and well equipped, pools a little cool restaurant on site has very good, reasonably priced food and a fab ice cream bar. Our grandson loved them! spotty dog and the disco train were a great hit. Pauline from Norwich (26 August 2014)
The 'weekend' camp was very clean and in pretty, well kept grounds. Everyone seemed really friendly and the staff helpful and courteous. We arrived with two teenagers aged16 and 14 yrs and had a good holiday exploring all the lakeside towns and beaches. If we had stayed on the camp all day there were no other children of the same age so less to occupy them. However we wanted a family holiday and enjoyed it immensely. Salo is a lovely town with beautiful views and an easy downhill 15min walk for us. Perhaps longer and more difficult for younger children though. We loved the tranquil beauty and easy going atmosphere of the italian lakes and would visit one of the lakes again. Eorocamp reps were very helpful even during a few unlucky rainy days when the tents had minor floods! but camping is weather dependent and those who take up this option must be realistic!! Jenny from Isleworth London (16 August 2014)
A relaxing, beautifully situated campsite with good facilities. The children loved the pool, outdoor gym & adventure park (especially the zip wire) and the bar was pleasant with good food. . . our van had a lovely view through the trees to the lake and we felt safe and secure. As we were next to the play area, we were irritated sometimes by children chucking stones down the long metal slide, which made quite a racket, but despite the couriers asking them to stop, they continued when the courier had gone! . . the parc was made up of 95% dutch guests.. not many english about when we were there.. apparently this is because the site has dutch owners. Not a problem, but despite their best efforts, sometimes the entertainment was more in dutch than english! this meant we didn't get into it as much as usual. The children loved the mini disco though! . . one problem that could be resolved is the state of the pool area. It wasn't cleaned enough and we found old plasters and tissues and sweet wrappers lying on the floor for several day running. Not very nice. . . the eurocamp couriers, sam & gaby, were excellent. Very professional and welcoming on arrival. The van was absolutely spotless (better than any other keycamp/eurocamp holiday we have been on) and they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. It seems age and experience provides a better service to guests than those just out of college! . . I would go back one day and look back on a lovely relaxing holiday, with fresh mountain air, sparkling lakes and warm sunshine & overall recommend weekend campsite. Jake from Royal Wootton Bassett (10 August 2014)
Great location by lake garda. Looking out across to the mountains as you swim in the pool. Couriers and staff obviously very proud of their site and looked after us well. By far the best food in the restaurant out of any campsite we've stayed in. Sheila from Northants (10 August 2014)
Excellent holiday park in a great location. best for primary school age children. restaurant provides excellent food and service at a reasonable price. only downside for a uk family is that the majority of the families and therefore children are from the netherlands and speak dutch, so our children felt a little left out. the entertainment was done in dutch and english, so this was ok. James (08 August 2014)
We had a great holiday and our reps were great. sam was incredibly friendly and helpful. . . the parc was good. The mix of guests was predominantly dutch, which in and of itself isn't an issue, but meant that my children had less opportunities to engage than on previous holidays. the only disappointment then was the lack of free wi fi - which seems to be common place elsewhere. . . our conclusion was that there's very little to do in way of improving things beyond the minor point around wi fi. Simon from Nottingham (04 August 2014)
An excellent site for parents with smaller children. the kids club is well run and organised. the site is well maintained and the restaurant facilities are ideal. the pitches are very small and offer no privacy. the walk to salo is a bit further than expected, at around 2miles to the shopping district, a bit far if you have to walk with small children in the heat. Al from Livingston (25 July 2014)
Brilliant week with beautiful views Stuart (30 June 2014)
We had a great time at lake garda and got to see things we had planned. Neil from Beverley (29 June 2014)
Location was spectacular, absolutely stunning view from campsite area over salo below. We've 3 kids (8,6,3) and they had a ball. Safe and friendly place with lots of bits and pieces for them to do as well as main pool complex. Totally relaxing and very, very repeatable!! Robert from Belfast (26 June 2014)
Have been to this camp three times! the view from the camp is amazing! staff are very friendly & helpful. The pool and restaurant are well placed on the camp so you are able to have a swim then relax with a drink or meal after! love lake garda beautiful hope to be back next year!! Jean from Chelmsford (25 June 2014)
As always we thoroughly enjoyed our eurocamp holiday. Chris from Plymouth (24 June 2014)
Had a fantastic holiday with eurocamp. Couriers were very friendly and helpful, always had time to answer our queries. Wonderful site, amazing views, fantastic pool for kids, plenty of kids activities including mini disco. Food was nice and reasonably priced. We had a lovely time both on and off site. Great area to visit. Joe-Anne from Bristol (22 June 2014)
Our couriers were the best we have ever had on seven eurocamp holidays, they could not do enough for us and seemed to be forever cleaning and making sure holiday makers were getting everything they needed. the parc itself, well that was a different matter. the pitches were too close together. we had two sunbeds but absolutely nowhere to place them on the pitch once our car was parked which resulted in having to sunbath in the roadway - not very acceptable at all. also there was nowhere you could turn the car around without backing all the way down the road. we felt this was very dangerous when there were young children darting around. we would never go to this site again because of the small pitches but would thoroughly recommend the couriers who did everything they could for us and it seemed everybody else who was complaining about the same thing. one day a polish gentleman who was in a mobile down the road to us nearly crashed into our car because the only way he could get out was to reverse down this extremely narrow road. the following day we went out for the day which resulted in us having to take our car out of the camp and park on a field outside as we were afraid when we came back our car would have been reversed into. this is extremely bad and there should be room for cars to get out without having to reverse all the way down the road. Maureen from Storrington, West Sussex (20 June 2014)
Was a great camp, clean and well presented.good facilities and fun entertainment for children. Couriers were the best I have ever had! pools were lovely and very clean. All staff on site were friendly. Beverly from Brighton (19 June 2014)
This parc was very disappointing, the tents were extremely crammed in, nothing like it is advertised on the website. No space for parking your car next to your tent. The neighbours may aswell be sharing your pitch as every thing was so close together. So bad we had to find a hotel! plus you have to wear a swimming cap (brought on site) in the pool!! another annoyance! the parcs location was also a lot further from the lake shore than expected. We would not recommend this camp site! Jodi from Northampton (14 June 2014)
The campsite was well run, the restaurant had a varied menu and helpful and polite staff. The location of the cabins left a lot to be desired. my car is a z4. reasonably small but the access to the cabins was very difficult with no prospect of turning the car round. you either had to reverse over 150 metres (in our case), to park by the cabin or reverse out and avoid very steep slopes. when this area is full I would expect there to be some real problems in moving the cars. Martin from Croydon, South London (25 May 2014)
The parc is in a fantastic setting. Eurocamp couriers can't do enough for you. Restaurant has great food and reasonable prices. People were very friendly and helpful Jason from Cardiff (24 May 2014)
Excellent holiday with a lovely site. The weather was very good Michael from Manchester (21 May 2014)
This was a lovely park! great views! the only thing we didn't like was most the tents were on a slope so nothing stayed on the tops! also if ur goin in sep ask for extra blankets. The restaurant ran out of breakfast and its min spend of £20 on your card so take plenty of cash. The food was limited from the shop so take what u can as its expensive. Would I go again! yes in a mobile home, tents are too hit in the summer and too cold in sep at night. Great staff though and very clean and well maintained. Lisa from Derbyshire (15 September 2013)
Lovely - really relaxing from start to finish, helped by the eurocamp parks being so smooth. We especially liked the booklet and the map, which got the whole family excited when we received it and really helped us in planning days out when we were there. Matt from Manchester (14 September 2013)
Excellent holiday Margaret from Bournemouth (11 September 2013)
We adored our holiday at camping weekend. The parc was absolutely beautiful, the best campsite we have ever stayed at! the gorgeous setting in the terraced olive groves on the hill, the view from the restaurant and the cleanliness of the site make it a real winner. As a family with a toddler we found the parc animation team superb, mary and desiree's kindness made her holiday one to remember and the parc offers much for young ones, even out of season. I have also never known a cleaner park - the loos and showers were cleaned 3 times a day and were consistently spotless. The onsite restaurant had the most amazing view and offered great food at reasonable prices, with plenty of choice and both local, international and childrens choices. . we would reccomend this site to anyone. We travelled without a car and found that the daily walk into salo along the boardwalk was one of the highlights for us. John (06 September 2013)
Would have been nice to have the correct firm representatives present when we departed. minor point really Gillian (31 August 2013)
Amazing holiday! whole family loved lake garda and weekend eurocamp. John and wendy were so helpful. The staff at the restaurant were fantastic, the facilities were excellent. I do agree with others who have commented that the caravans are positioned too near each other. So be prepared to keep a set of curtains drawn for privacy!. . overall the 6 of us would highly recommend it! Shelley from Bedfordshire (25 August 2013)
Though not sure what to expect but very surprised by how simple and straight forward the booking in process from arrival to leaving was. Straight from meeting wendy (courier) put me at ease and john ( courier) who was very helpful with directions around the area places to see etc. A well put together camp that offered everything from fresh baked bread through to your entertainment in the evening. . you could escape for the evening to the small town of salo what a place at night. . you could go back and relax have a drink over looking the lake. David from Newhaven (23 August 2013)
An excellent holiday which perfectly catered for our 3 children Catherine from Staffordshire (16 August 2013)
A brilliant park with great swiiming pools. The view is breathtaking from the restuarant. Friendly staff. Ian (14 August 2013)
A great parc for younger kids. beautiful location. Andy from Maidenhead (07 August 2013)
No air conditioning, very small pitch and ant infestation. All else was ok Nicholas (30 Jul 2013)
A wonderful campsite, brilliant kids activities, restaurant food fabulous, views stunning. Cathy from Thorpe-Le-Soken (30 Jul 2013)
We stayed as a 2 night on the way to somewhere else, but we will return to lake garda as it was our overall winner. Fiona from York (28 Jul 2013)
Location is good with some lovely views, if some trees were cut back we would have had excellent views from our holiday home too, pity! the park was really lovely apart from the fact that mobile homes are very close together & parking with a small car took a lot of negotiating. Could do with an extra swimming pool, never a day not crowded. I enjoy the type of accommodation although always struggle with the lack of space (same at all parks) & find myself rearranging the living area to cope with this (decking for meals is excellent). I would pay a bit more for more living space Catherine from Aberdeen (17 Jul 2013)
A wonderful site in a wonderful resort. Very difficult to find however and really spoilt our arrival. The instructions were muddled. Linen could have smelt fresher and the double room really difficult to move around in. Apart from the instructions on how to find the place the other things were minor and id not spoil our lovely holiday. Christine from Birmingham (09 Jul 2013)
Fantastic holiday in a very special parc overlooking lake garda, fun for all the family. Sally from Southport (05 Jul 2013)
Lovely campsite Jillian from Rotherham (30 Jun 2013)
Nice quiet relaxing site in good location. Plenty of nice places to visit. Mike from Lytham (28 Jun 2013)
Lovely setting overlooking lake garda. spacing of mobile homes too close and did not offer any privacy. Facilities on site were good. Although wi fi reception varied from good to non existent depending where you were. Confirmed Holidaymaker from Crewe (22 Jun 2013)
Beautiful site, gorgeous location, lovely food at the restaurant, friendly staff. Rachel from Manchester (08 Jun 2013)
Very good holiday, lovely lake side setting with great views. Weather wasn't as good as it could have ben (not the fault of eurocamp, clearly!). pitches were a little bit tight and decking pretty much touched the next door van. Debra from Winchester (03 Jun 2013)
This was a weeks holiday for the kids summer half term. We chose the lakes as I have always been keen to go back there after my first trip back in 1986. Flights to milan were cheap with ba and eurocamp offered good value accommodation. We hired a car and visited a few towns druing our trip and walked to local villages by the lake. Enjoyed the food and wine. Scenery and old towns were spectacular. Mark (01 Jun 2013)
Lovely setting. Organised. Good facilities especially the bar and restaurant area. Friendly couriers. Enjoyable holiday. To be critical. - 2nd bedroom in caravan more cramped than expected for three kids than the internet pictures suggested. - "unheated" pool unseasonably cold was a disappointment but thoroughly enjoyed by the kids nonetheless. - no badminton court, unuseable freshly painted table tennis tables and unkept football area fell short of our teenagers sporty expectations. Nigel (01 Jun 2013)
Brilliant location and wonderful views from our terrace. we will definitely go back to this parc. Victoria from Leeds (27 May 2013)
Amazing parc - we couldn't believe the views and such good value! thank you so much. Claire from Colchester (26 May 2013)
Overall a nice parc but pool was unheated and so the children couldn't swim for long or often (especially since the weather wasn't as expected for that time of year) which left us with a slight problem in keeping them entertained. Very nice accommodation inside but cabins were placed very close together which didn't give much privacy and was sometimes noisy. Beautiful location close to lakeside towns and places of interest. Customer 75 from Forest Row (19 May 2013)
A delightful parc with the best restaurant that could be asked for. Sarah from London (11 May 2013)
