Overall the holiday was a great success Sarah from York (15 September 2014)
Porticciolo was exactly what i'd been looking for - clean, safe for the children and away from noise and bustle - close to nature. I found the parc to be welcoming and the facilities and the accommodation more than met my expectations. the only downside was that i'd not anticipated that without hiring a car, I couldn't get to a cashpoint or any other choice of supermarket other than the one on site. the couriers were, however, without being at all intrusive, willing to listen and understand and always took steps to provide reassurance and practical help. I could have done with a bit prior more knowledge of the bus service and the practicalities - possibly a written summary of what's where for the person without a car - would be helpful for people in future. I made some enquires to your team just before the holiday to which I got rapid and helpful responses, but on reflection I wonder why the enquires couldn't be passed on directly to the couriers to answer. that said, I might have changed my mind and hired a car, but in fact i'm really glad that I didn't as by using bus services I was able to live at a nice slow pace and have time to talk to other people. Linda from Holt, Norfolk (03 September 2014)
Beautiful. Couriers so helpful Gillian (25 August 2014)
Set by an emerald private beach in grounds full of fragrant pine, orange, aloe vera and pomegranate trees makes this campsite almost perfect! friendly staff with good tourist information and a bus that can take you to local beaches and alghero makes everything very easy. to top it all, set in a nature park with stunning views - say no more! Emma from Hertfordshire (21 August 2014)
Sardinia is a beautiful island and the parc was lovely too, the couriers were brilliant and really helpful. Kirsty from Buntingford (19 August 2014)
Great holiday Anne Marie from Swindon (18 August 2014)
The couriers were great, friendly and helpful. The campsite is in a beautiful setting- beach and national park. The camp shop could be better as was expensive and limited in chice. The availability of a beach shuttle bus meant we didn't need to hire a car. Kathy from Bristol (11 August 2014)
A lovely quiet park in a beautiful setting. I have been on 4 similar types of holiday before and this was the best. Stephen from Maidenhead (09 August 2014)
Beautiful in sardinia. Great location in a national park and close to lost of things you'd want to see. You will definitely need a car though. Not the most modern of parcs though, and not that many facilities. A great clean and large pool but that, and the one table tennis table, closed at 8.00. A bit quiet for our teenagers but if you don't need lots of campsite facilities, it makes a good base. Andy from Bristol (30 July 2014)
Very pleasant holiday parc to stay in. Not too busy - there were always plenty of sun loungers available by the pool. Aquagym and children's activities were arranged at the poolside every afternoon. Evening entertainment was available on average once per week (there were two sessions during our two week stay). we were happy enough with that - but it might be something to bear in mind if you're looking for somewhere with a lot of evening entertainment. Quite a few pretty villages/towns to visit on days out. Very helpful eurocamp couriers. . there was only one down side, which has prevented us marking this holiday more highly overall. The beach opposite the campsite was in need of a good clean. Concerningly, we found three syringes on the beach (with no needles attached, thankfully). needless to say, we didn't go back on the beach after that. In fairness, when we reported this to the eurocamp couriers, they acted very promptly in reporting it to site management and eurocamp head office. Unfortunately the beach is not owned by the campsite (who merely lease one part of the beach, and none of the syringes were found in this part of the beach), so the campsite felt they were limited in what they could do. However, we heard later that the beach had been cleaned up after this. We were also told that other beaches in the area are very clean. So overall, i'd recommend this holiday if you're looking for something relaxing and fairly quiet - with the caveat that I would avoid the beach opposite the campsite unless it has now been cleaned up. Kevin from Aberdeen (19 July 2014)
We visited in june, so not very busy, nice site, everyone is friendly & helpful. The pools are nice and clean, the beach could do with raking over, the sea is beautiful and the views are amazing. Remote location so car is advantage, although there is a daily bus service to site. On site shop is expensive, chose not to use site restaurant because feedback from others not good. Facilities good, would have been nice to have things like salt, pepper, olive oil in kitchen. Tracey from Peterborough (25 June 2014)
We have been on more than 20 eurocamp holidays. This is one of the best we have ever had.please do not pull out of sardinia. This is your one and only site on the island - and one of the best we have ever experienced. Thank you! Celia from Edinburgh (15 June 2014)
Good John from Stafford (13 June 2014)
Whilst the campsites at susten and cavallino were all that we have come to expect and enjoy from euro/keycamp. The site at torre del porticiollo was a let down. The restaurant and bar were a complete rip off. €6 for a bottle of beer that was €3 in the nearest local restaurant and €1.19 in the supermarket. The food was basic, poorly prepared and significantly over priced. Matt from Rayleigh (16 September 2013)
The camp was very quiet and not for children. Shop itemswere expensive. Steep steps down to stony beach . misleading in brochure. Smith from Chelmsford (15 September 2013)
Quiet site and slightly isolated location - there was nowhere within walking distance. Great to have direct access to beach although sea is rocky. Great beaches within a 10/15 min drive and close to alghero airport. value for money at the time of travel (sept '13). the couriers (nick & caroline) could not have been more helpful Sue from Halesowen (13 September 2013)
We had an excellent holiday at torre del porticciolo. The site, weather and couriers were spot on! Mark from Nottingham (07 September 2013)
The holiday was just what we needed after a hard couple of years. the concern was that it was more remote than we thought and there was nothing about no cash sales. You should highlight that a car is needed otherwise you can only leave for the five beaches that the local bus goes too. We hired a car and got to see more of the island which was great. . the couriers went above and beyond offering to drive us to and from restaurants and local supermarkets. Robert from Cheltenham (04 September 2013)
A great holiday yet again with eurocamp, a great setting with superb couriers who were always ready to help. Timothy from Watford (31 August 2013)
Couriers fantastic. Helen (31 August 2013)
Wonderful holiday - plenty of sunshine, friendly staff on site & activities for the children if they wanted to do them, v helpful couriers, beautiful scenery/beaches & historic towns to explore. Judi from Gloucestershire (25 August 2013)
A fantastic tranquil parc in a remote location. superb facilities on the parc with easy access to sea. Steve from Grange Over Sands (24 August 2013)
Great location of parc with all the facilities needed Maria from Worcester (24 August 2013)
Sardinia is a beautiful place and I would definitely go back. We had a really fantastic holiday. Jackie from Bracknell (19 August 2013)
We had a wonderful holiday in sardinia. It is a beautiful place with lots to do and is easy to get around. Julie from Bedfordshire (19 August 2013)
The site was great ,wasnt pleased with the card scheme for all purchases.the resterant was very expensive . the bank holiday (italy) crowd weree very noisy and not well behaved but the site made little effort to sort or control the couriers did try the second night to some avail. There were no bikes available as on other sites and they were desperatly needed,to get to the shops or explore. The couriers nick and caroline were outstanding ,the best we've had on any of our eurocamp adventures, and knowing they were there might ensure our return Neil from Ipswich (17 August 2013)
A lovely relaxing pool/beach/food holiday with reliably good weather. John from Lane End (15 August 2013)
A lovely parc especially if you like peace & quiet, not so good for teenagers as evening entertainment not so good. A beautiful pool, pleased to say that it was open from 9am - 8pm without the usual 3 hour break, which is very welcome during the hot afternoons. Very close to alghero which is a beautiful town. Would definitely go again. Patricia from Cheam Surrey (09 August 2013)
Great staff a credit to your company Customer 29 (21 Jul 2013)
Our trailer did not have enough shade and it was too hot to sleep well. I would not take another holiday in the mediterranean with eurocamp unless there was air-conditioning available in the trailer. our couriers were exceptionally helpful and attentive and the accommodation was very clean and well-maintained. Hilary from London (20 Jul 2013)
First experience of a eurocamp holiday. All of us had a great week. The parc was set on an unspoilt stretch of coastline, lovely bay nearby, very laid back feel in the parc itself. Good to dip into the livelier culture of alghero but always nice to return to the relatively peaceful eurocamp site. Well organised kids activities that they could take or leave as they pleased. The holiday got a thumbs up from them. Colin from Edinburgh (16 Jul 2013)
Had a really great holiday - lovely spot. Stewart from Belfast (12 Jul 2013)
A poor camp, but good holiday because sardinia is a great place. Veronica (29 Jun 2013)
Couriers were the best we've met and we've had nearly 50 eurocamp holidays. Parc was poor and not a site that we would have expected eurocamp to associate themselves with. John from Leighton Buzzard (29 Jun 2013)
Couriers nick and caroline were excellent - always helpful! Clare from Norwich (14 Jun 2013)
Had a lovely time. Parc is in a lovely position and not to far from the airport. Michael from Braintree/Essex (14 Jun 2013)
This was our second honeymoon (25 years) was an excellent holiday and return to the island. many thanks Ruth from St Leonards (14 Jun 2013)
We had a lovely family holiday & the staff at the parc were great. The pool was lovely but the other facilities were a bit limited & in need of updating. The location was remote but beautiful & the local bus service was really useful for getting about. Victoria from Sutton Coldfield (10 Jun 2013)
The accomodation and the eurocamp staff were excellent. however, the nearby beach was full of rubbish and I would not trust young children on it. Pam (01 Jun 2013)
