What a fantastic parc, village, area and accomodation. whilst this is a big parc and the area purpose built for tourists, you do not feel like you are at a holiday camp. you are very close to the beach, cycle tracks and village and there is everything you need to stop you needing to leave. however, do not miss biaritz and st jean de luz. Two very different seaside towns, both lovely in different ways. We only had 4 days at this parc, wish we had booked more and ventured into the pyrenees and spain.
Jean from Warsop (24 September 2015)

Good holiday, ideally located to explore the surrounding areas with some beautiful beaches. Nothing much do do on site in bad weather but the indoor pool was great for our small children. Restaurant on site is nice. Couriers were helpful and left you to it.
Tracy from Bergerac (19 September 2015)

Lovely accommodation great facilities and friendly couriers . bad weather but that's not eurocamp's fault!. beautiful area will return
Susan from Deal (19 September 2015)

Our second year at sylvamar, first time in an aspect. Booked already for 2016
Philip from Worksop (17 September 2015)

Parc was slightly cramped with poor signeage. Shop was rubbish and even by the standards of other parcs it was overpriced and poorly stocked.
Andrew from Bournemouth (06 September 2015)

Nice site accomodation not suitable for 8 people apart from that great site
Paul from Ystalyfera (06 September 2015)

Ideal campsite for children, lots of entertainment during the day and evening for them, there is no shade around the pool which was a disappointment as it got rather hot umbrella's needed. The restaurant was nice but limited menu, the cafe/bar again limited food on offer especially if you are there for 2 weeks. outside of the site you have a few bars/resurants and shops and a 15/20 minute walk leads you to the beach, this is a surfer's beach so some days you will not be able to enter the water due to the strong current. .
Wendy from London (05 September 2015)

What a great site fantastic pool location perfect accommodation of very high standards
Ian from Bridgnorth (05 September 2015)

Fantastic parc, brilliant accommodation, great eurocamp staff, local area very clean and friendly locals, beach ideal for families and surfing, we are rebooking for next year. For the first time on a eurocamp holiday we were very impressed and our children aged 10, 14 and 16 were always entertained with all the activities. Thank you eurocamp for giving us a wonderful family holiday.
Abi from Worcester (04 September 2015)

No shade around the pool area. Camp reception ( not eurocams staff) could have been a lot more helpful in when we arrived, not very good in directing us to eurocamp reception.
Kevin from Chester (30 August 2015)

A good parc, well maintained with friendly staff and plenty going on to keep our youngsters busy.
Laurence from Winchester (29 August 2015)

Good holiday but eating gluten free was very difficult. There was only one gluten free packet of biscuits in the onsite shop at sylvamar which upset my son. Luckily we took a lot of our own food. . also the easyjet flight had very little gluten free food available.
Karen from Lichfield (26 August 2015)

Too crowded. great location.
Anthony (25 August 2015)

Great caravan on a great parc in a great area.
Nick (24 August 2015)

Great holiday for all the family. Plenty to do on the site and helpful couriers. So good to be so close to the beach.
Kate (23 August 2015)

Very good parc facilities. Warm pools x 4. Entertainment for children of most ages up to early teens. Bike hire, quad hire, tennis, archery etc. Long wait/queue to book activities, though. The accommodation was modern and comfortable but even though it was less than 12 months old there were significant defects and there did not appear to be a regular inspection or maintenance regime in place. The couriers were as helpful as they could be but were short staffed so service was not as expected.
Paul from Billericay (23 August 2015)

Excellent site and good location. we would definitely visit again. couriers extremely helpful despite them all being very busy. very impressed with the new eurocamp accomodation, we stayed in a 3 bed avant.
Claire (17 August 2015)

Sylvamar was a good site. Facilities good. Lack of street lamps at eurocamp end of campsite and cyclists without lights was dangerous at times
Philip from Midlands (17 August 2015)

We had an excellent time (once we got there - it wasn't an easy drive through france due to traffic). the parc is large but didn't feel crowded and is well thought out. The swimming pool complex is excellent and was loved by our children. Beach was stunning. Even the few days of rain didn't detract from the holiday.
Naomi from London (15 August 2015)

Fabulous family parc. Wonderful pools, great restaurants and top quality entertainment - we had a brilliant time!.
Emma from Ware (13 August 2015)

The park was well equipped but the decking of our chalet home was covered in sap from the overhanging pine tree - which was annoying and ruined a number of clothes and other items. The deck needs a canopy or awning as it was in the shade most of the day. When we arrived only one light bulb was working in the main living area. Whilst the rep assured us there was sufficient gas we ran out mid way through cooking a main meal and had to wait half and hour to locate her and for her to return with a new canister. . the entertainment on the park was varied and we attended a few if the events. The plus sides included that the rings in the pool were free and widely available rather than having to supply our own as other camps previously. Downside was recycling points were a long walk away as the camp was large but it also meant you could be well away from the noise of the evening entertainment too.
Paul from St Albans (12 August 2015)

We had a great holiday in the village and eurocamp were once again great
Ian from Guernsey (10 August 2015)

Excellent parc, helpful and friendly couriers. Third visit and still would go back again, really enjoyed staying in new accommodation so much better than older mobile homes used for previous holidays.
Paul from Kingston - Upon Thames (08 August 2015)

A lovely holiday spent at the pyrenees and then here at camping sylvamar where we had the better weather (mostly sunny). . highlights:. . * the campsite is exceptionally well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable and fun-filled stay. * on-site children's entertainment is the best we've seen in 8 stays with eurocamp. superb amphitheatre with entertainment for all. * lagoon pool complex and lazy river good for young children and the indoor splash pool is excellent. * off-site, try the parc robinson next door for forest fun in the trees. Brilliant fun. nearby capbreton was a pleasant resort for lunch and a beach trip. . compared with other trips, we would say:. * the surrounding area has superb beaches and isn't without its basque charm, but there are fewer "wow" towns and sights to see compared to other part of france. this is a place to head for the beach, and to spend time having fun with family and friends. Labenne-ocean itself is a small and functional low-key beach resort. . * the campsite is quite crowded; although our eurocamp emplacement was fine and nicely shaded, the touring areas were packed in. * the waterslides are concrete; too hard for younger children, and perhaps a bit boring for older kids. there is a much bigger waterpark next door but we didn't try it. . overall, we would return here for the campsite and entertainment. .
Michael (06 August 2015)

Bad weather hampered this holiday. but wasn't a huge fan of this large park.
Claire from Wiltshire (31 July 2015)

Perfect, something for everyone
Emma from Frodsham (30 July 2015)

Great park , good location, nice weather
Christopher (27 July 2015)

Clean site. Friendly yelloh and eurocamp staff. Bakery and shop brill. Located near to beach whish was clean and staffed by lifeguards (huge waves though!) and walking distance of restaurants and bars. Excellent pool area again covered by lifeguards.
Paul from West Mersea (24 July 2015)

Beautiful well positioned camp, not at all cramped, our advant accommodation positioned comfortably away from others if you like privacy. Parking was very close. Cabin was spacious, well equipped & well fitted out and very clean. Dish washer was a real bonus. We found the camp however did provide enough adult style entertainment in the evenings, children were well catered for but not grown ups. We arrived after a long journey around 8.00pm, tired and hungry we visited the restaurant on site only to be told by the supposed manageress quite sharply that if we were not booked in we could not eat. Disappointed we sat outside in the bar area and over the next two hours there were at least 4 tables free all that time. Not satisfactory! we did not visit the restaurant again. They were our only . two major complaints, apart from that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return again.
Howard from Chelmsford Essex (24 July 2015)

A clean, well run and friendly camp. Great holiday with kids.
Mrs from Tunbridge Wells (19 July 2015)

Really great. Lovely accommodation- very clean which is very important. excellent site. Couriers friendly and helpful when needed. Pitches at far end of the campsite and quite small would be only criticism.
Michael from Belfast (18 July 2015)

Excellent campsite especially for people with young kids, my kids are 8 & 10 and loved the freedom of this site to explore on their bikes. The site is well located near restaurants, beaches and some lovely surrounding areas. We found biarritz to be a stunning place and we would definitely return to this part of france.
Stephen from Glasgow (12 July 2015)

Great park. we travelled with kids age 6 and 9 - plenty of activities with a good pool complex. we stayed in one of the avant mobiles which was really new and lovely. great cycle paths very close by and lovely area. would recommend.
Alayne (10 July 2015)

Really liked the campsite. Supermarket and restaurant not as good as we've experienced but absolutely fine. Hired bikes and a trailer for the kiddies which was great, large site so useful to get around plus plenty of places nearby to cycle to. Children's pool is brilliant and well worth every penny. Our aspect mobile home was spot on for our family of four. Nice and secure for the toddlers with enough luxury for the adults. Would definitely recommend site and accommodation. We went out of school holidays so it wasn't too busy which I think helped with the overall experience.
Carolyn (06 July 2015)

First visit to this area which we enjoyed but will, probably, not return
David from Cumbria (29 June 2015)

Poor start to the holiday, problems with info and no cash machine on site. Very much geared to the french/spanish!! definitely need a car as isolated. Camp staff excellent and very helpful and pool fantastic. We arrived as season started so eurocamp staff were not prepared!! we have had previous holidays with euro camp which were excellent but this site didn't compare.
Nigel from Pembrokeshire (04 June 2015)

Lovely attentive eurocamp reps- nothing was too much trouble! aspect accommodation was very good and excellent value for money- definitely will stay with eurocamp aspects again. The parc itself was fantastic ecpecially the swimming pools for the children. This was my 1st eurocamp and definitely won't be my last! thank you!
Kerry from St Peter Port, Guernsey, Channel Islands (31 May 2015)

Absolutely brilliant accommodation and park, and almost could not fault it..there was things for the good weather days and bad, the kids loved it.
Stewart (31 May 2015)

Lovely clean park in wooded setting. not too large so could easily walk to all the amenities from the other side of the park. all staff very friendly, all spoke good english ( and appreciated our efforts at speaking french). shop, bike hire, etc very reasonably priced. ideal base for exploring the pyrenees. without a car you would be limited in what you could do outside the park, as the nearest town/train station was quite a walk away, too far with young children. but if you plan to stay on the park, cycle trails fantastic, beach an easy walk, swimming pool facilities fantastic.
Claire from Gloucestershire (30 May 2015)

Great quality cabin, helpful team, everyone had a good time, thank you
Caroline from London (27 May 2015)

Stayed in an aspect for the first time; good facilities but not as comfortable for us as an espace 2 bed/2 bath which we usually stay in. a few too many sharp corners that our infant grandson bumped into. good decking is very wide and secure (though limited access to retrieve articles our grandson posted through the wide gaps between the slats e.g. The mobile key!)
Terry from Surrey (27 May 2015)

Enjoyed our stay
Peter from Skipton (26 May 2015)

We had a wonderful time! the whole holiday from the weather to the beach & local area to the accommodation & facilities within the park. The reps were extremely friendly & professional bu nothing was too much trouble! we hope to return next year & would thoroughly recommend!
Fay from Nottingham (22 September 2014)

We really enjoyed sylvamar. The pools are fantastic, all heated as well. There's a mix for all the family to enjoy them. Our 2 year old loved the indoor children's play pool and 6 year old thought the slides were amazing. The restaurant and bar were good and average prices for france. There may of been some entertainment in the evenings whilst we were there as it was really busy over the weekend, however after a day out and spending time at the pools, which were open until 8pm, the children were shattered so we stayed in. The beach at labenne is a walk away on the main road, so if you have small children, buckets and spades etc its easier to jump in the car. We stayed in a 2 bed vista which was nice and clean on arrival. All the couriers were very helpful and couldn't do more for you. . we were very lucky with the weather around 30 degrees all holiday and took trips to st sebastian in spain, less than 1 hour away, the beach is fantastic, with pontoons to swim out to. We also visited biarritz which was great, the beaches are just beautiful. . we enjoyed our stay with eurocamp, lots to do in the surrounding areas when the weather is good at this site, yet relaxing also.
Tracy from Begerac (20 September 2014)

Very clean and well run park.
Susan from Deal (20 September 2014)

Accomodation first rate although umbarellas on patio looked old and dirty everything inside clean and tidy chris the rep first rate and very helpful
David from Wolverhampton (20 September 2014)

Fantastic holiday. Our children (7 months and 3 years old) loved the swimming pool and lazy river. The indoor pool is great for little ones. Pool bar was good, beach is fantastic and within walking distance. We loved bayonne, great for exploring and shopping.
Adam from Ipswich (20 September 2014)

Accommodation very good, area very good site overall not for me at that time of year
Martin from Plymouth (18 September 2014)

We had a fantastic time, the parc was big but the accommodation was well positioned from the noisy area. The beach was fantastic not quite close enough so we used the car to access most of the time. It was a clean and lovely environment. We had a great time.
Customer 49 from Kent (17 September 2014)

Great holiday!
Hannah from Surrey (17 September 2014)

Great site, although could do with a better shop. Accommodation was excellent. . great beach nearby
Michael from Winsford (11 September 2014)

Excellent parc with good facilities. Couriers first class and couldn't have been more helpful.
David from Stirling (06 September 2014)

We had a lovely holiday staying at sylvamar the site is very clean and well laid out the pool area does get busy but lots to do in and off site so not really a problem.very friendly and helpful couriers especially khiel?he was fantastic.the beaches close by are not great but better ones up and down the coast.eurocamp mobiles are well spaced out and although furthest from camps entertainment unfortunately closest to the other site and the noise from there most nights was loud and went on too long!! lovely part of france and great holiday.
Chris from Kent (04 September 2014)

Great family holiday, loads to do, aspect accommodation brilliant. Lebanne micro climate was a bit dodgy at times.
Les from Dartford (31 August 2014)

A relaxing holiday on a well maintained and run park. Excellent couriers.
Sarah (31 August 2014)

Great holiday. Pool was fantastic and the children had a brilliant holiday. Extremely clear and well maintained park. Location of the go ape style event and water park was very good. The beach is close and nice ice creams on route.
Darren from Folkestone (30 August 2014)

We had a lovely time in the main at the sylvamar. the eurocamp reps were excellent. hayley was very friendly and was a great help to us. particularly in the fist few days when we were trying to orientate ourselves.
Leslie from Preston/Lancs/England (30 August 2014)

We had a wonderful holiday and the staff were wonderful and very helpful
Angela from Folkestone (29 August 2014)

Great holiday, beautiful part of the country, campsite facilities were good.
Rebecca from Stotfold (29 August 2014)

Enjoyable holiday for our family, lots of things to keep the children busy on and off park.
David from Milton Keynes (28 August 2014)

A great parc
Caroline (27 August 2014)

Good holiday, really nice parc
Andrew from Sheffield (25 August 2014)

A big campsite but with a very limited eurocamp presence.
Jillian from Dorset (25 August 2014)

We enjoyed a lovely holiday at sylvamar park. It was bigger than anticipated - the 2014 brochure rates it as medium but I note the 2015 one states it is large. Pretty good facilities, nice location, overall very happy with the experience.
Helen from Lichfield (23 August 2014)

This was our second visit to labenne ocean - it is a nice sized campsite and the location of the eurocamp caravans at the back of the campsite is nice but not too far to go to the shop and pool. it's a great location to explore a bit - biarritz, st jean de luz, san sebastien, bayonne. only disappointment was the struggle to find a nice market to go to!
Lydia from London (15 August 2014)

Enjoyed our stay at slyvamar. plenty going on at the park and it is right next to the cycle road so we did plenty of cycling upto capbreton and hossigor. really need your bike to get around as park site quite large and the eurocamp caravans/chalets are at the far end of the site away from the pools. also need your bike to get to the beach. waterpark and go ape next door to the site so plenty going on locally.
Ruth from Solihull (14 August 2014)

A very large park, hooded with forestry and eurocamp area is right at the back. Great pools for children. Restaurants not great. Beautiful area of france
Rachelle from Strabane, Northern Ireland (13 August 2014)

This sire is ideal for teenagers, as there is both a lot to do on site and within walking distance. the water slides are a little tame, but the pool is good. the waves at the beach mean that the sea is more suitable for older children than for toddlers.
Helen (13 August 2014)

Hi-de-hi with sunshine. ok if that's what you like.
Jean from Uttoxeter, Staffordshire (12 August 2014)

Excellent parc - facilities for kids fantastic. Recommend hiring bikes as local area very safe to cycle around. Classic plus just right for family of four including two tall teens. Would stay here again. . ask for quiet pitch when booking as some are quite near noisier parts of site. Air con a must in the summer!.
Fiona from Hemel Hempstead (12 August 2014)

Lovely park, well kept tended gardens, and clean areas. Superb pool facilities..the indoor splash pool a real added bonus for our just 4 yr old granddaughter...good food and dining experience in busy on site restaurant. All staff friendly and polite...a great holiday
Christopher from Essex (10 August 2014)

Clean, tidy and well-run site. Excellent facilities though disappointed that the sunbathing areas around the pool had been reduced, making it more difficult to make use of the pool. Also very disappointed to find out that base no longer operated on this site.
Paul from Wrexham (09 August 2014)

Great parc, fantastic pool complex made leaving the park difficult!
Maureen from London (09 August 2014)

Lovely spacious beaches. surfing great, swimming not so!. plenty to do. campsite was fab, eurocamp reps were excellent.
Customer 74 (09 August 2014)

Better maintenance required to communual toilet / shower blocks
William from Gunnislake, Cornwall (06 August 2014)

Greta holiday, superb location, new aspect accommodation is worth every penny.
Emma from Leeds (31 July 2014)

The eurocamp couriers were excellent - you drop them an sms and they would be round to assist almost immediately. . .
James from Droitwich, Worcs (31 July 2014)

First time eurocamp holiday with 3 children, labenne is a short walk to the fabulous beach with spectacular atlantic waves. The parc had everything we needed, pool, bar, restaurant and bike hire. You need a car to get to the large supermarket in the town. all in all a great holiday for a young family.
Marie from Epping/Essex (30 July 2014)

Didn't have the 'sparkle' of previous eurocamp holidays.
Samantha from Birmingham (27 July 2014)

Lovely euricamp reps and clean house.
Louisa from London (26 July 2014)

Excellent park and great accommodation. Quite pricey hence not 10/10 but we had a great time.
Catherine from Leicester (22 July 2014)

Great parc! only complaint would be that there is only one adult toilet and one child toilet by the pool. This isn't much in such a busy complex.
Shirley from Kilmarnock (19 July 2014)

Excellent but large parc. Superb plot and mobile home and really helpful local eurocamp rep james.
Peter from Dundee (14 July 2014)

While our holiday was very nice there were many little details that were very annoying and should have been avoided. Distance to beach double the distance to the beach from the camp site to beach as eurocamp homes are at the far end of the camp. . courriers, we only saw at check in and they failed to explain basic details about how to lock the door of the home. I was horrified to find on courtier had zero french, I had to help a truck driver in the campsite because he could not. Campsite promotes skin cancer as not aloud to wear long swim wear in pool. . campsite safety in the pools is dreadful, no safety rails on stairs that you go up with wet feet, no safety matting in kiddy pool area which is obviously spills when wet, lifeguards more concerned about my long shorts than stopping people go down the slides in ways that were against the rules. Slides need to wear long shorts and swim tshirts as let's of people were getting grazed on the concrete surfaces yet lng shorts are not aloud (luckily I do not listen to stupidity) eurocamp homes placed right next to next campsite entertainment which shuts down later than this camp. Etc etc etc..
Ashley from Bexhill (12 July 2014)

Great location with very good facilities on the parc. would go again!
Alison from France (11 July 2014)

The weather was mixed which hampers what you can do. however, the site was good for our needs. The situ of our home was very good. The couriers were excellent, very helpful and responsive and reflected well on eurocamp.
Christine from Birmingham (09 July 2014)

We used the parc for a served it's purpose as a stopover but was far too large and busy for our taste. One reason for visiting was to visit the marais d'orx nature reserve and it turned out to be closed this year for renovations
Anne from Gillingham Dorset (26 June 2014)

The camp was very lively the reception not very helpful gave us a map and sent us to find the keycamp reception which we found difficult after getting lost on the camp we phoned the currier and he came and found us and took us to our caravan the curriers were an older couple and very helpful the site was busy and the pool very crowded they did have a fantastic indoor pool for small children and a very expensive health spa none of which we used the on site food was average but the wine very good and good value they seemed to be catering for the private sector.
Patricia from Norfolk (22 October 2013)

We went to labenne ocean in september, the parc was really well maintained and the mobile was immaculately clean and modern!! the facilities on the campsite were fantastic we loved the swimming pools and we hired bikes for the week as the cycle paths are easily accessible and flat pathways! my only complaint if you can call it that is september is the end of the season in france and we struggled to find any where to eat or to find many shops open other than the main towns! but on a positive note we came home with money as we went to the supermarket in labenne which is very well stocked and we made good use of our gas bbq! our three year old daughter absolutely loved the outdoor style holiday as we did and for that reason would definitely recommend! the eurocamp couriers were so friendly and full of local information, they popped over from time to time to see how we were doing and if we had any problems! one week wasn't long enough and we can't wait to book our holiday next year although it will be in july!
Lindsey from Tunbridge Wells (22 September 2013)

I thought the beach was nearer, so expect a good walk as it's about 1 kilometer away
Peter (21 September 2013)

Fantastic parc for families, just as described in the brochure we went as an older couple and it was quite noisy with all the children however we were put into a quiet part of the park and it was fine. The pool was fantastic and the staff really helpful. Would recommend this to friends
Tracey from Hatfield (21 September 2013)

Good beach nearby. nice area for a holiday and not too far to spain.
Alex from West Malling (15 September 2013)

Beach stunning but sea is dangerous unless your a good swimmer campsite . most of the lights were switched off very early which is dangerous for children . shop was small better . shops outside of camp always closed
Brian from Crediton Devon (15 September 2013)

I didn't realise that the parc was made up of several operators all with their own cabins and also free standing spaces for tents. The eurocamp cabins were by far the best looking and most new. Very clean and tidy inside and well situated down quieter roads so you could sit on your deck enjoying dinner without lots of people walking past you.
Lisa (14 September 2013)

The parc was lovely and clean, and the facilities were excellent. We went outside of school holidays so it was really quiet, but there was still plenty to do. The accommodation was a little tired, but everything worked and it was nice and clean. And it was really well equipped, so like a home from home in that sense. The couriers were really friendly and helpful. And the parc was well located - close enough to many places (capbreton, bayonne, biarritz etc) for trips out. I would definitely hire a car again - there's not too much of great interest within walking distance of the site.
Kate from Bath (14 September 2013)

Large parc with all facilities in one place bar/pool/restaurant. caravan in quiet area of parc very clean but not much space and very close to other caravans you can hear and see through their windows and feel very enclosed by this. excellent beach nearby area superb and plenty of places to visit
Jennifer (03 September 2013)

Overall great holiday - shame the weather wasn't sunnier!!
Joanne from Boston, Lincolnshire (31 August 2013)

Really lovely accommodation & loved the decking. The accommodation was spotless & couriers really looked after the caravans. Park was lovely especially the pool although food & bar area was not to our liking but great for teenagers !!! nearby beach not great for young children but region great for travelling & exploring around.
Karen from Solihull (28 August 2013)

Good clean site but not enough poolstuff for our water confident children aged 8,6, 3 and the beach was much further than we understood along q a busy road... not a pleasant route but good when we got there.
Cl from Winchester (27 August 2013)

We had a great time! had to drive to beach as walking with all our things was a bit difficult, although there were lots of families cycling. Wish we had taken our bikes- we will next time! play park only good for very small children. We would have liked more info in english of the surrounding area & a good road map. The map we received showed the park right at the bottom so didn't help us travelling further south. Very pleased water park and a go ape type place right next door! more help speaking french on the phone would be handy when we booked gorge walking & fishing! we would recommend this holiday!
Donna from Herts (25 August 2013)

Have experienced many parcs in france, this is one of the best. yelloh staff very friendly & helpful. Good pools & facilities for kids of all ages. Good entertainment and activities also. Great location for exploring the pays basque region which has a great culture & cuisine - biarritz, dax, san sebastian, hossegor all good places to visit. Location of the keycamp units at the quiet end of the campsite is also very good, although the accommodation itself seems a bit dated compared to others and could do with a refresh.
Andy from Chepstow (23 August 2013)

Lovely part of the world, good weather, plenty of things to do.
Kim from Dalton Piercy (22 August 2013)

This must be our 6th or 7th year at sylvamar - yep we love it. We know what we are getting and know the kids love it there. We tend to mix our agents between you guys and key camps and every year cross our fingers that we are going to get a good pitch and to date every year has got better with this year being our best spot yet.
Matthew from Holmfirth/Yorkshire (18 August 2013)

Park very good but in relatively expensive if you don't choose to use the animation activities / entertainment or decide to spend time outside of the park visiting beaches / the local area.
Helen (16 August 2013)

Relaxing with good cycling and weather.
David from Letterkenny (14 August 2013)

Fabulous parc in a glorious area. beach is lovely but watch out for those waves!. lovely pitches on nice avenues so you don't feel crammed in. will definitely go back!
Sam from Worcester (13 August 2013)

Great parc and friendly couriers, we had a lovely time!. just a few things:. 1) accomodation with the 3 bedrooms - 2 bathroom mobile home was spacious but a bit "dated", needs updating like the sunlight version of eurocamp. 2) please add a toaster to the mobile home, it would save so much more time than having to grill toasts in the oven. 3) the sports facilities are a bit limited for the size of the camp ie only 1 tennis court so it was always busy by 9am, another football pitch is needed for smaller children as the teenagers invade it the whole day. There is space for new facilities towards the english mobile home at the back of the parc. 4) more bins spread around the parc as they are all by the reception ie far from our mobile home. 5) there could be more than 1 restaurant in the parc, a bit limited. . otherwise the kids club, entertainment and gym classes were very good. Also the children indoor pool and outdoor pools were excellent!!. . thanks.
Safia from Coulsdon (13 August 2013)

Labenne is a great location for a parc- close to nearby beaches, spain, bayonne, bordeaux, etc
Stefan from Oslo (11 August 2013)

All great, the only complaint I have is that the bed was not comfortable. It was too hard. Other than that it was brilliant
Steve from London (11 August 2013)

We had a good position on the site, even with a private garden to the side and we liked having a gas barbecue. The camp site had a good location in labenne with good restaurants/bars along the road within a few minutes walking distance. The beach was also equally assessable further down the road. There were towns within easy distance to explore. the weather was lovely and hot the first week but unfortunately during the second week rain and storms were around for 3 days. As a family we enjoyed ourselves here and would return again.
Alan from Portsmouth, Hants (09 August 2013)

Lovely holiday here, the parc is huge..but the facilities are good, the pool area is lovely, clean, lifeguards, lazy river has plenty of rings, the indoor pool and play area is fabulous for kids.
Lisa from Ireland (08 August 2013)

We chose this park for four nights due to our requirement for a site near the atlantic ocean. That was the best thing about it. Our mobile home was good standard, fairly new and in good order. Our actual pitch was rubbish. It was on the edge of the site along a dirt service road near am ugly wooden perimeter fence. Like an industrial estate.
John from Eltham London (08 August 2013)

It ticked all our boxes- great surfing beaches, lovely weather, very relaxed, spent all day and evenings outside. Perfect paths for running and cycling. Equally ideal for sitting reading and unwinding. Getting up in the morning, putting on swim gear and that's it for the day! baguette, pain chocolat, croisssant, cheese etc etc, loved all of it!
Ruth (05 August 2013)

Great holiday and the parc was very nice and great for children. They loved the pool area. Beautiful weather for sitting out on the deck. Keycamp caravans are the older style and ready for a change. However they were clean and tidy and as the weather was so good we spent most of the time outside.
Sharon from London (03 August 2013)

We had the best holiday we've ever had in france - labenne ocean was ideally situated for our needs - bodyboarding- surfing with two teenagers.we didn't have to travel far as we were close to the ocean - hired bikes for 24hrs which was brilliant biked to capbreton and ondres beach. The site was clean and all very friendly - shows on the night were funny, entertaining and on a take it or leave it basis ---loved the area we came on from ferry portsmouth - bilbao (very relaxing .) - so we didn't have much of a drive to the site . the only things I would have changed were we could have done with air conditioning in the caravan it got really hot on a night. And - it was our choice - but we opted to stay one night in noja (spain ) to be closer to santander as we were leaving via santander- we didn't think much to the site at noja and we left beautiful weather to clouds all the way in spain and santander is not picturesque but that was our choice so we'd alter that for the future -a very memorable holiday which is just what we wanted as it might be the last time one of our daughters comes away with us as she's nearly 17 - thumbs up enjoy ------- especially the amazing waves
Denise from Leven Beverley (03 August 2013)

A good relaxing break.
Matthew (31 Jul 2013)

Super location, accomodation a bit dated and in need of a bit of tlc we felt. the park was good, long walk to pool and the pool was very very packed. . the beaches were fabulous and area beautiful. Courier seemed a bit flustered on our arrival, howver when problems reported they were very quickly sorted.
Anna from Ely (28 Jul 2013)

Nice parc- can be noisy late evening, but always lots happening, mostly down to animation team.
Brett from Taunton (28 Jul 2013)

Great holiday, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff
Caroline from Bedford (27 Jul 2013)

Excellent, kids loved it, eurocamping rep couldn't do enough for us.
David from Bridgend (27 Jul 2013)

Thank you to euro camp for a great holiday. There was nothing that we could fault everything was first class. Our couriers were faultless nothing was to much trouble everywhere was very clean no rubbish anywhere would recommend to all ages.
Andrew from Rochester Kent (26 Jul 2013)

Great location, superb facilities, clean modern well set out accommodation.
Emma from Leeds (25 Jul 2013)

This is the fourth time we've been to france with key camp and had a great holiday again. The booking and administration was easy and straightforward and is one of the reasons we continue to book through keycamp. We stayed at three parcs this year and everything ran smoothly. Each parc was great and our main site was perfect with great positioning and pitch sizes. The only slight negative was the attitude of the couriers at the first parc and the lack of interaction with the couriers on our main site. However this did not detract from a great holiday.
Ben from Doncaster (24 Jul 2013)

Great family holiday. hire bikes as this makes getting about much easier and great fun - very good cycle paths. the camp was fairly full as we were there over 14th july - bastille day holiday - but we were in a reasonable quiet spot and didn't overly notice much noise. Trees offer shade and shelter from the sun on very hot days; the pool was great for the kids (ages 7, 10 and 11) to cool off in and beach just down the road (cycle) was fantastic (beware big waves!!!). being in france, french is mainly spoken (eh?) but many speak english! we didn't use the kids clubs but ours found friends very quickly and quite an international bunch at the football pitch!
Nicholas from Belfast (15 Jul 2013)

E33 is great sunny spot, we were lucky enough to have this pitch location, sun most of day. . overall a great family in a fantastic location.
Elaine from Plymouth (14 Jul 2013)

A really clean, pleasant, friendly campsite. Very good pool facilities which suited all my children and mum and dad alike. Very good evening and daytime activities provided by the campsite.
Niamh from Co. Down Northern Ireland (14 Jul 2013)

A lovely site with excellent facilities. The kid's loved the pool and the beach nearby, which was the main point of our holiday. excellent weather also helped. the couple of day trips we had were to san sebastián, which was only 45 minutes on the payage, and well worth a visit for the day. we visited biarritz on a wet day and didn't see it at its best. the aquarium was a little disappointing.
Timothy from Beaconsfield (13 Jul 2013)

Very good site, would highly recommend to anyone with children. . . could've done with more english speaking entertainment, as it was always french or spanish, & I didn't understand.
Gail from Harthill (11 Jul 2013)

Lovely holiday, but sun beds go quickly!
Louise from Guernsey (06 Jul 2013)

Evening entertainment poor, it's more suitable for toddlers and under5s but rubbish for my kids ages, 14, 11and 8. Especially if you are not french. mini disco is hadly a disco, its a song played every now and then. Adult entertainment is 0. nice pleasant park but accommodation described as spacious but was tiny and very difficult for a family of 5 but i'm sure the upgraded lodges are fine and they are vey clean and comfy so good value overall. lovely beaches all around sylvamar. . .
Lisa from Hampshire (06 Jul 2013)

Accommodation was a high standard, thank you - though you could inform people on the website that the beds in the twin room can be moved to make a double - that would have been helpful to know. The parc was clean and beautifully natural looking and the outdoor swimming pool fantastic (though unheated which means you can't really use it in poor weather), but the eurocamp accommodation was as far away as possible from the pool and the children's play park. it was a major outing just going to the playground as it took about 15 mins for my two yr old to walk there (i have a baby two so can only push one of them). this parc could easily be improved by adding another couple of playgrounds evenly spread out throughout the camp. the bouncy castle was a nice touch. the couriers were friendly and helpful but it would be good if they had a greater selection of board games etc for bad weather. the only other negative was the torrential rain we had for a large part of the first week. eurocamp can't control this, but the south west in general seems to be a much cooler part of france (due to prenees?) and so for that reason we would might not recommend it.
Alyson from Somersham (30 Jun 2013)

Excellent holiday despite the weather.
