Very good Caroliine from London (22 September 2014)
Great location 10-15min walk to the beach 5 min walk to the supermarket. Wasn't over impressed by the living area in the van but we wasn't in much so wasn't a problem. Euro camp couriers amazing service extremely friendly and helpful unfortunately we had two nights with no sleep as group of guys behind us partied all night informed the couriers next night not a single sound! . main reception staff rude unhelpful and poor attitude. Onsite shop is terrible compared to english campsites no bbq food in the freezers only fish fingers?! really could improve the shop. . swimming area lovely only problem couldn't lay on sun loungers and relax as kids pool as your not allowed them around the pool with young children you can't lay on the grass as pool not visible. . no entertainment at the site think they could put more on for the kids. . . the site is great for a base if you want to explore the algarve but wouldn't want to be at the site everyday not enough going on. . . went to zoo marina great day out dolphin shows splash park aquarium with sharks, my boys loved it 35 euros for taxi to the zoo marina but well worth it children under a metre get in for free adults around 20 euros. . . loved portugal hired bikes to explore further went to vilmoura marina and beaches which we're calm as beach close to parc the sea had big waves unsafe for small children. Will defiantly be returning to portugal next year perfect beaches weather friendly locals. Sam from Main Reception Staff Rude Unhelpful And Poor Attit (08 September 2014)
The site itself has good facilities and is within easy walking distance of the local beach and town. The best beaches are a short drive away and the site does feel slightly removed from the heart of the algarve. However the accommodation was good and I was happy overall with what was on offer. . Jonathan from Plymouth (06 September 2014)
The toilet made a noise all the time so the courier had to change the unit & also there was a bright red stain on one of the sheets which also had to be changed. The bbq grid was very rusty so that also had to be changed .read further below in accommodation. Judith from Whitehaven Cumbria (06 September 2014)
As a family overall we were very happy with our holiday. Quateria is a beautiful part of portugal with lots to do. The beaches were a short walk away from the park which was convienient. I would definitely holiday here again. The only down side was having to leave the camp on our last day at 10am, but our transfer wasn't collecting us till 18.50. We were not allowed to stay & use the park facilities. It was a nightmare having 3 suitcases & 3 children & nowhere to go. We had to pull all our luggage to the nearest beach & sit there all day which was extremely stressful & did spoil the last part of our holiday. I understand that the park doesn't have facilities to store luggage but it would have made things easier if we could have stayed & used the pools etc. Lisa (03 September 2014)
Great location near beach. Nice and relaxing. What we were expecting. Diana from Altrincham (01 September 2014)
We have just returned from quarteria, the resort itself is lovely with plenty going on however, the holiday parc is dated and reminded me of a 1970's butlins camp. The accommodation was ok but we stayed in a 2 bedroom caravan which could sleep 7, I found it very cramped especially with a family of 5. Angela from Colne (31 August 2014)
Good pool but very disappointing cafe and shop on site. Further to the beech than anticipated. Elizabeth from Manchester (24 August 2014)
The eurocamp facility and staff were excellent. However compared toothed euro camps we've stayed at, the par was poor, with one poor pool in comparison to others, parc staff were rude in the bar area and queues for drinks long, although very cheap. Matthew from Bristol (24 August 2014)
Our a.c. Did not work. Though someone came to fiddle with it. Apart from that everything was perfect. Luc (15 August 2014)
We had a really enjoyable holiday , the parc great and the eurocamp staff were very helpful. We would definitely come again. Steve from Newcastle Upon Tyne (01 August 2014)
Parc is small and quiet. Kids usually like to wander off and do their own thing but with pool shut by 7pm, and tennis court turned into football hang out for big teenagers that left two old table tennis tables. Eurocamp accom very nice and air con worked well. For couples wanting a relaxing holiday it is fine. Ruth (23 July 2014)
This was our first eurocamp experience, we had a fabulous time. We were very pleased with the company and the couriers(bruce and susan) were very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to our return visit next year. Sally from Ballycastle (16 July 2014)
On arrival at the main reception there was about 6 people waiting to check people in which tool only a few minuets. From there we were sent to where our couriers office was located only a few yards away, within a minuet or so we were greeted by bruce and shortly after sue who guided us to our cabin. Which we found excellent. Our party consisted of 5 adults and a baby and the stay there was fantastic. When I looked at the online reviews before I went I was beginning to think I made the wrong choice, but I am glad I did not change it for another parc. We really enjoyed our stay and are planning to go back soon. Bruce and sue if you read this thanks for everything and hope to see you both again soon. Darryl yvette & family. Gibraltar Darryl from Gibraltar (16 July 2014)
Excellent holiday, great location and great value for money coupled by the fact that reps bruce and susan bring the whole new meaning to customer services and support representation. Steven from Fife (04 July 2014)
Really nice part of the algarve, great for families and the kids loved it. . Janice from Ashbourne, Derbyshire (26 June 2014)
As we were a little out of season not all facilities were available, however the bar was open and the staff were friendly. The cabin was clean, spacious and well equipped. The outside area was most enjoyable and the bbq well used!. Jayne (14 June 2014)
A well laid out site with well maintained gardens. Could have made more of snack bar/restaurant. Supermarket on site poorly stocked but a lidls just up the road. Beach very near but limited goog quality restaurants in quartiera Derek from Bristol (10 June 2014)
We enjoyed our holiday especially as we went with other family members but were not impressed by eurocamp quarteria. The facilities were poor especially for kids as their was no disco or family room (this was empty of furniture the 2nd day of hol). the positive was the park and pool. The shop was extremely poorly stocked-except or bread and drinks really luckily lidl just up the road. The caravan itself was fit for purpose and it was great to have a patio and chairs to sit out and enjoy the bbq. We do think that a change of linen at least once would have been welcomed. The area itself had a lovely beach and a fantastic water park which was thoroughly enjoyed by the children and the adults. For the accommodation and facilities that were offered I believe this wasn't true value at all. Emma from St Helens, Merseyside (30 May 2014)
The couriers were excellent they were most helpful, they took us to a supermarket, and as this was our first time we were very grateful for there help. The accommodation was very very good far above our expectations. We are not campers we prefer hotels but will seriously consider going again with eurocamp to the same site or another one. Maureen from Southport (22 May 2014)
Enjoyed being on the park, and quarteira. John from Spain (19 May 2014)
Quarteira is a very friendly resort. No car required. The on-site shop was basic but there is an excellent supermarket about five minutes walk from the main gate. The promenade is about a ten minute walk away with shops, bars and restaurants. The eurocamp staff were excellent. Definitely will go back to portugal. John from Wallsend (18 May 2014)
Excellent couriers who incidentally were our couriers in switzerland last year. The accommodation was good and great value for money although I would not pay the price in the height of summer. The park itself is a bit tired and come do with some tlc. I would suggest if you want to visit some of the better beaches in the algarve, water parks and other towns then definitely hire a car. Tom from Southend (10 May 2014)
Had great holiday. Campsite a bit tired but close enough to the town so were able to go into the town. Customer 24 from Carrickfergus (27 April 2014)
Once out of the parc the area was beautiful. Alyson from Newtown Powys (24 April 2014)
We had a lovely spot, the caravan was a good width and had great decking area. With trees all around making it feel calm and lovely. Gina from Birmingham (23 April 2014)
Hello we all had a fantastic time and would recommend the parc and area for quiet holidays. . I came with two teenagers that would have liked a bit more night entertainment. It may have been good to see the disco on but, we can also appreciate it is a quiet time of year. . your reps were always helpful and never intrusive, would definitely like to see them again. . so far first excellent experience and will definitely be using you again. . . . ps I have already recommended you to others too. . take care. Lydia Lydia from La Linea, Cadiz, Spain (19 April 2014)
We have holidayed many times in the past with eurocamp or other similar companies, and the holiday lived up to our expectations. the camp itself was rather 'tired' looking, and could do with some renovation and painting to smarten up the feel of the place. the couriers were helpful, and able to provide information about a local dentist when required. overall, we all (a family with two children aged 10 and 8 years old) enjoyed the holiday. the location is good, within walking distance of sandy beaches, and the town with a good choice of many restaurants. we are likely to return sometime in the future. Karen (19 April 2014)
The area of quarteria is beautiful with stunning beaches. Vilamoura is well worth a visit. Great valuable for money overall. I would definitely go again! Melissa from Cheshire (18 April 2014)
A nice, clean camp. The weather was great. The receptionist were good but lacked some urgency. The pool was good but the water slide needs some improvement. David (12 April 2014)
1st time user of eurocamp , very impressed and a most enjoyable holiday! would I return ? definitely ! Eileen from Middlewich (23 September 2013)
Our holiday was brilliant but that is due to our own input, the parc is good but the constant barking of dogs around the camp all night is very bad and needs correcting. Customer 32 (21 September 2013)
The couriers and the accommodation was first class as expected but the parc urgently needs refurbishment everywhere as its very run down Andrea from Northwich (17 September 2013)
Fantastic Sharon from Bradford (06 September 2013)
The accommodation was ok - could have been cleaner but ok. the represenative was not there to greet us - he left the key at reception and came to see us the next day!! (monday). I would highly recommend the taxi service we used very efficient and courteous. Patricia from Congleton (01 September 2013)
Weather great..holiday fab once off site Jayne (31 August 2013)
I was disappointed with the park facilities and therefore value for money. Sarah from Manchester (31 August 2013)
The accommodation was very clean and as expected, in line with the information provided beforehand. the park was ok, a bit tired and was disappointing in comparison to the pictures provided. some of the pictures in the brochure of the local fishing village didn't seem to be representative of the 'village', we never saw the little white fishing houses depicted in the brochure. the beaches were great and had good facilities - umbrellas with beds next to the sea were easy to obtain and loos and bars were never too far away. the couriers were friendly but were not as accessible as we would expect - there on arrival but didn't really provide much help in finding out about the local facilities beyond the initial introduction i.e I think it would be useful if the reps came around after a couple of days, once visitors have found out the lay of the land and can ask useful questions. they did not come to store our bags at the end of the holiday as arranged and given they are english, dealing with english who are not working to portuguese time, this was disappointing. overall a nice holiday and very grateful for the air conditioning in the accommodation. David from Bath (25 August 2013)
The weather was great. Close to the beach which was great. Kids loved the beach and camp pool. . we would go again. . accomodation small but clean - missed a tv and video player for kids films at night Andrew from Worksop (23 August 2013)
It amazes me that eurocamp cannot put a mattress in a caravan that is more than paper thin with protruding springs. two weeks sleeping on what amounted to a bed on nails does not make for a good holiday. The parc is fine if you like hoards of people cramming around one tiny pool. Perhaps the photos should reflect the congestion around the pool? this coupled with dogs barking through the night was not great. How this can be classed as an active site in the brochure I do not know. You couldn't get in the pool to swim and there was little else on site apart from a broken tennis net. Christopher from Saddleworth (18 August 2013)
The weather was excellent and provided much of what we were looking for in a family holiday, our 6th eurocamp holiday. we did not hire a car (unusual for us) and the local taxi service was not very reliable but we managed to get to most places we wanted to see Philip from Lincoln (14 August 2013)
Enjoyed my first trip to portugal. the parc was near to the beach, the pools were ideal for my children. the café could have been better but on the whole I would thoroughly recommend this parc. Karen from Glasgow (10 August 2013)
Parc was in a good location but pool got very busy in the last few days of our holiday. Margaret from Galway (06 August 2013)
Parc is not as good as previous sites we have used in france. shop was very limited in what it offered, the restaurant only offered a choice of 3 meals and looked more like a works canteen and the swimming pool slide was so slow it was useless. on the plus side the site does not get very busy and had a friendly feel to it. also it's close to aquashow, which is a must for anyone in the area with kids. Dale from Frodsham (05 August 2013)
The camp has not much to do ,other than the pool, which closed every day at 19.00hrs, could do with being open later, also the bar closed dead on 23.00hrs.and by 23:15hrs asked by the staff to leave the upstairs area and go back to our van.the camp has a large fence around it so you must go out the main gate and around to get to the beach. Still it stops the packs of wild dogs out. John from Louth (05 August 2013)
We had a great holiday but only becáuse we had a car. Site not as nice as french ones we have visited in previous years. Shop poorly stocked, restaurant not v nice. Rebecca (03 August 2013)
We had a fantastic holiday, everything was great. Allison from Huddersfield (31 Jul 2013)
A bit noisy from aircraft Alexander from Perth (18 Jul 2013)
Have stayed in camps in spain. very little to do on this camp, keycamp workers were virtually none exsistant on the ground. no entertainment at night for the children and very poor restaurant and bar facility. Tracey from Belfast (08 Jul 2013)
Fab parc, particularly pool facilities, very clean and lovely helpful keycamp rep. Had a fantastic time thank you!! Hannah from Lancaster (02 Jul 2013)
There could have been some entertainment for the kids but overall a nice clean camp Claire from Essex (01 Jul 2013)
Fab time. Great location. There are no bath mats with the towels though as advertised Dawn from Wellingborough (30 Jun 2013)
Pleasant site, one of the best pitches ever experienced, not a lot happening on site but that's no problem to me;might be to families. Steven from Newcastle Under Lyme (28 Jun 2013)
Very small campsite; staff on site were not particularly friendly; no organised trips or excursions; no organised activities for the children. shop and restaurant were very poor. Helen from Magherafelt (23 Jun 2013)
Very nice and quiet Gail from London (20 Jun 2013)
The park is sold as lively (says in the overview on the eurocamp website) - not the case - boring. Not a park for families with kids who need entertaining - nothing to do for the kids - so unhappy parents . small accommodation compared to other sites in europe and area around the park run down. Jennifer from Watford (16 Jun 2013)
The location of this park is excellent. The layout was great, ideal for the children playing out. The pool was lovely and well maintained (but a little cold!!). the facilities were limited ie the shop and cafe but i'm sure this was due to it being early season. The only real drawback we had was some dogs in the local area barking in the early hours, I don't think they were on the campsite though. Elizabeth (09 Jun 2013)
The site was very disappointing. The description provided in the eurocamp brochure, on which we made our choice, did not reflect the current condition and maintenance of the site and facilities. Nick from Nw, England (08 Jun 2013)
Exceptionally quiet so very limited facilities open Timothy from Chippenham (31 May 2013)
Worst holiday I have ever been on !! no eating facilities open in may., shop very poorly stocked and severely over priced., nothing to do on the park very disappointed!! it was like a ghost town. Trevor from Morecambe (30 May 2013)
Thank goodness there was a decent beach/bar area 10 minutes walk away or the holiday would have been a total flop. staff are miserable and the bar shut at 10pm. Water slide turned off half the time and wasnt even fast, the children were just sat there and had to push themselves along. we were out of season but we have been out of season to eurocamp holiday parcs before and have had a great time. this parc was dead. No stock at on site supermarket/bar and our children were shouted at by another guest because they were in the way of him doing "laps" in the pool!!! there were only our 3 children and him in the pool altogether!!! Tracy from Stockport (30 May 2013)
We were very aware we were not in the full season, it felt rather desolate and only half open for us. Also shop only open at 8.30, could do with opening at at least 8am Customer 62 from Breaston, Derby (21 May 2013)
Cannot fault this wonderful holiday. A safe, friendly, fun but mellow park. Fab pools. Amazing cabins. Usually we're real culture vultures but with young kids - 2 and 5 - we wanted something different. We got just what we needed - a relaxing, easy holiday. It was the best holiday we've ever had and we never went further than the closest beach! weather was perfect and i'm brown as a berry! would recommend to anyone with kids wanting a proper break . John from Grange-Over-Sands (13 May 2013)
We went to algarve in april / may for better weather and close to beach. this was excellent. the site was okay, it was clean and well set up. negative points was camp shop was very limited and restuarant was we though very poor. although a number of people were using free wi-fi there. van designs big negative was no handbasin next to wc, also only one door and car had to be parked near but could not be next to the vans. on balance I would consider returning if that's the holiday your after. Timothy from Inverness (10 May 2013)
Not a lot in the park quite poor really but it was low season caravans were very nice and clean more a peaceful vacation oh and the blankets needed to be thicker Lisa from Cheshire (28 April 2013)
Been to this park previously. enjoyed our visit just as much this time David from Bolton (27 April 2013)
Very good site, well run and really convenient for the algarve Confirmed Holidaymaker (22 April 2013)
Good value for money holiday given time of year really - out of season. caravan clean and functional. parc a bit run down and need of a make over. tennis courts poor condition. Supermarket and take-away area poor. no kids activities at all or entertainment. pool clean and well looked after. Jennifer from Glasgow (17 April 2013)
The instructions on how to get from faro airport to the campsite given in the travel documents were rubbish. We followed them for about 2/3 of the journey and then they just were incorrect. Even mal the courier confirmed that they were not good and that he had tried to submit new directions for the last couple of years. I was a single mother travelling from faro airport with my 2kids and I got totally lost. I ended up in a macdonalds in villamoura where there was wifi. I fortunately had a friend who was already at the campsite and was able to call him. He came out and found us and we followed him back to the campsite. I found this start to my holiday incredibly emotional and unnecessary. Please ammend these directions so that no-one else gets lots. My friend had been to this campsite a few years ago and he confirmed that he had got lost on his first visit too. As for the campsite - the pool slide was only operating on 3 occasions. The campsite itself was a bit of a dump. One recommendation would be that a roll of toilet paper would be very useful when you arrive at the mobile homes as inevitably after travelling kids as well as adults need the loo and to find not even a half used toilet roll in the toilet was poor. Shona from Harrogate (08 April 2013)
Yes had a good stay Angela from Malaga (28 March 2013)
