First visit to noja and although the site and the beaches are very good, we thought the town itself was disappointing.
Keith (30 September 2015)

Just a pity that the owner loved trees. We go to a hot? country for sun and yet your sites are full of trees. Sick of conifer trees blocking out the sun. Now you have put up a canopy over decking so no sun at all. Better with umbrella. Wont stop us going again because we love area. Time you got someone out to look at your sites re trees.
Heather (26 September 2015)

It´s a great park in a priviledged area. the only thing that can spoil it is the weather as it can rain a lot but it wouldn´t be as beautiful without it. if a beautiful areas is important to you, this is a great area with lots of interesting places and wonderful beaches on your doorstep. you don´t need a car, you can walk out onto the beach and from there to many others. wonderfully relaxing!
Gaynor from Burgos Spain (13 September 2015)

Great location, excellent parc staff, fantastic facilities.
Peter from Ulverston, Cumbria (10 September 2015)

Only thing missing was a starter toilet roll. Everything was good throughout, helpful and friendly couriers.
Richard from Ramsgate,Kent (10 September 2015)

To us this a family park only, not very good for middle aged or older families. Football bouncing and three families surrounding us continued with noise until 11-midnight every night of our holiday. Spoke to aga our rep who said they were allowed to make noise!!! the people also spoke spanish so we had no luck trying to have a friendly noise. Asked aga about nearby shopping response was everywhere shutting it end of season, asked her about a trip out somewhere she again responded everywhere shutting it end of season. Maybe those were the only words of english she knew!. the park was clean, the beach outstanding, the shop useful . would definitely recommend to families.
Confirmed Holidaymaker (07 September 2015)

Based on this holiday I would never euro amp again. The weather was dreadful which didn't help. Caravan a bit tired and a bit grubby with smelly toilets. A parking spot we couldn't park the car in. Caravans park so close together you could only just walk between them with previous guests food littering the floor - very tired camp site broken play equipment, animal park with an array of animals being fed stale bread. After 2 nights we had enough and salvaged our holiday by finding alternative accommodation
Lucy from Shropshire (05 September 2015)

Excellent value for money and enjoyed by all.
Jason from London (03 September 2015)

Our fourth time at this wonderful parc and it continues to delight us. excellent facilities (like the great value, well-stocked shop which stays open all day), clean showers and toilets and good accommodation.
Hugh from Falmouth (01 September 2015)

Good!
Chris (31 August 2015)

Excellent holiday - we were returning 10 years after our first visit and were not disappointed.
Neil from Southampton (30 August 2015)

Great location - we were the beach end of the park. Reps quick to answer any questions we left on the notepad in the office but not often there themselves. Good shop. Did lots of days out.
Kathryn from Thatcham (29 August 2015)

Excellent beach, excellent accommodation and excellent eurocamp courier. park very good but let down by poor quality on site cafe.
Steve from Reading (23 August 2015)

The campsite is very big and busy. The big advantage is the great beach which you can access from the campsite.
Emer (22 August 2015)

Great
Claire from Pepper (21 August 2015)

Great location courier very helpful espace lodge fairly comfortable
Matthew from Bodmin (19 August 2015)

A great holiday if you like to relax and chill. . the sea is very clean, quite blustery on occasion, but has calm water coves and pools for paddling too, the beach is also very clean. . the scenery is beautiful. The town lacks character but has plenty of bars and restaurants, there was a funfair and a market (for some weeks in the summer). . . a good holiday for families with younger children - people that do not need the night life.
Linzi from Oxford (15 August 2015)

If you are looking for a small, safe, clean and beautiful sandy beach to enjoy then this is the place for you. the waves are ideal for body boarding, the beach gently slopes down into the sea and the edges of the bay are marked by rocky outcrops.
David from Oxford (11 August 2015)

Campsite great location.and well maintained. Bed and mattress very uncomfortable - affected our sleep.couriers friendly enough but felt weren't bothered about us or family so didn't get the welcome we have had at other euro-camp sites.our 6th holiday with euro-camp so generally good value.
Confirmed Holidaymaker (11 August 2015)

Overall excellent holiday. Perfect beach for body boarding and rock pools. Couriers could benefit from more local knowledge and actually going to the attractions they recommend, else the recommendation is hearsay. Excellent location to explore from.
Jill from Glossop (07 August 2015)

A beautiful place to stay
Confirmed Holidaymaker (03 August 2015)

Great location near a beautiful beach and the park and facilities were spotlessly clean.
Jugro from St Albans (01 August 2015)

An amazing location, one of the best family beaches we have been to. Will come back here.
Alan from East Grinstead (30 July 2015)

A lovely coastline with beautiful beaches.
Lesley from Winchester (21 July 2015)

Beautiful part of spain. Parc is in a great location beside the beach and town. James and carol are excellent couriers.
Rosemary from Belfast (16 July 2015)

We had a fantastic holiday, the couriers were as normal fantastic and the parc was the best we have ever been at. We normally go to france and this was our first year in spain, it was amazing and so much cheaper than france for beer and shopping etc.
Patrick from Belfast (16 July 2015)

We (2 adults and 1 15 year old) enjoyed our stay at playa joyel and the overall area. The over riding standing feature was the camps close proximity to the beach. The beach and sea meant that we never actually used the swimming pool. The services of the reps were amazing, their availability and knowledge of the local area was excellent. There was a man on site that rented bikes and offered other water sports, again standard of service from them was excellent and really good value for money. The restaurant facilities/bar/games area was quite limited but you are close to a village, which makes up for it. Also there was an underground disco that we didn't manage to go into to. The flaming bull is a spectacle in july, which should be seen to be believed, it makes you realise how ridiculously overly safety conscious we are in the uk. The open air film nights on the tennis court were a nice feature and because the films were walt disney it didn't matter you couldn't fully understand what the characters were saying. The camp is well maintained and clearly all the children felt safe, running around freely until nearly midnight. However, after 12 o'clock all sites users are respectful of the quiet policy.
Joanne from Barsnely (15 July 2015)

Internet was poor. Swimming pool complex is too small for the size of the developement. Other than that, great holiday park and great holiday.
Alan from Falkirk (08 July 2015)

Fantastic holiday, beach excellent, eurocamp staff excellent. only two points stopped it being perfect.. 1) the wifi is terrible and a waste of money, 2) the swimming pool is maybe a little small for the overall size of the park (however the beach on the doorstep maybe makes up for this). would definitely return.
Colin (08 July 2015)

Excellent holiday, lovely parc, lovely atmosphere, friendly people. . james and carol the eurocamp couriers were fantastic with a great meet and great service. The pools were great and there are good amenities on site. The beach is fantastic especialy with small children as when the tide goes out it leaves some nice shallow warm pools to play in. Only one thing that could have been better, the mattresses are a little uncomfortable.
Richard from Southampton (07 July 2015)

We came along with a teenager and besides hiring a bike outside the camp there was nothing for him to do. It was not made clear that "entertainment" for young people began at the site at the very end of our holiday. I would not recommend the site for this reason. Our accommodation bedrooms were too small. I had bruises throughout from the mirror and window cills, I am not a large woman at all.
Catherine from London (04 July 2015)

Cantabrigians was a revalation for us - stunningly beautiful, with magnificent coastline, green hills, and amazing beaches. This was helped by eurocamp couriers james and carol , who were helpful and kind, as well as intelligent. They were the best we have known in more than 30 years of eurocamping.
Richard from Prudhoe (30 June 2015)

Very enjoyable holiday.
Jonathan (28 June 2015)

Excellent holiday with friends in a beautiful location. Particularly enjoyed our surf lessons, bbq's and a day trip to santillana del mar. Highly recommend this area.
Janet from Glasgow (27 June 2015)

Would definitely visi noja again although we felt there was little to do in the local vicinity if the weather was bad. also lack of places outside of camp where one could have a good meal. But overall a charming and beautiful place to holiday.
Karen from Aylesford (25 June 2015)

Great base for exploring cantabria and with direct access to a lovely beach ideal for young families
Steve from Ormskirk, Lancashire (23 June 2015)

Everything very good. we have marked the accommodation down because although we have had the same model caravan elsewhere this one was narrower with no space in the bedroom and very little storage space in the bathroom. You could only get into the 2nd bedroom walking sideways.
Ann from Leicester (22 June 2015)

Couriers excellent and parc lovely
Jonathan (21 June 2015)

Fantastic location next to a wonderful beach, we stayed for 23 nights with our 2 and a half year old and she loved it. We arrived on of may and the weather was very unpredictable. If you want guaranteed sun forget it go to southern spain. The rain does however make the area very green and pleasant. There is a lovely coastal path to the other side of noja about 2.5 miles and there is another large beach there. We will definitely return next year, but a month later!
Simon from Manchester (20 June 2015)

The parc is very clean and well maintained. The location to the beach is amazing and the beach itself is absolutely beautiful. The area is very scenic and full of nature. Having rabbits outside your door every day was lovely. The onsite shop is also very good.
Hannah from Staines-Upon-Thames (14 June 2015)

Overall the holiday was marred by the fact it rained throughout, totally outside of eurocamp control but a factor of the region - it's very green. however it wasn't helped by the fact that the accommodation smelled stale on arrival and was not particularly clean. the surrounding area is stunning when you can see it and the beaches fabulous but we couldn't really explore as much as we wanted due to the weather. to be honest, because of the weather and the accommodation combined, we would have left early as we live in spain but our friends were booked on a ferry so we stuck it out!
Alison from Granada, Spain (14 June 2015)

Excellent well managed site - direct access to beach - very friendly staff
Peter from Dorset (11 June 2015)

A very good experience, although not great weather.
Keith from Pembrokeshire (11 June 2015)

This is an out-of-the -way traditional style camping site right on a wide beach cove. We caught some extreme windy and wet weather but we could see how pleasant it might be when the sun shone and it warmed up.you'd be hard pressed to access it without your own/hire car because its off the beaten track. Nice enough small coastal town noja but there are lots of holiday homes and apartments around the place still closed up in may. It will get very busy in high season.
Edward (01 June 2015)

Great out of season place to go. Right on the beach
Tjeerd from Mesterrieux (31 May 2015)

Went away for the whit week and felt a little disappointed at most of the 'entertainment' being not yet open. clean and pleasant site in a fabulous setting, though felt the owners were maximising their parc profits by cramming in as many units as possible into the available space.
Sharon from Leicester (30 May 2015)

Our holiday got off to a bad start. The crossing from portsmouth to santander was horrendous. We had very stormy seas arrive santander 2hrs late and due to storm the doors to allow us to leave ship were damaged and they could not get them opened. We should have been in santander at 6.30pm but we did not get of ship until 2.15am. I can only praise eurocamp couriers for the phone calls and all the help while we were trapped on ship. We told the couriers to go to bed but they insisted on waiting for us to arrive which was at 3.15am. We can only say a big thank you to them.
Wilma from Shotts (30 May 2015)

Lovely parc on the beach. Very clean, accomodation also very clean and couriers very helpful. It was quite quiet there but we were there early in the season.
Susan from Epping (30 May 2015)

Eurocamp reps were very friendly and helpful. accommodation very clean with everything working. beach was fantastic. However, bit disappointed with the fact that the take-away was not open until july, and the games rooms and kids clubs were also not open. Restaurant on site is also too expensive.
James from Burnham (29 May 2015)

Had a wonderful holiday it was really lovely. . the only down fall for us was the beds the mattresses were very uncomfortable but the vista accomadation was lovely but that was all everything else was beautiful specially the beach, swimming pool, grounds, animal park. Would defo return
Gary from Cambridgeshire (27 May 2015)

Beautiful setting and the beach is one of the best I have been to, but there was literally nothing in the town open apart from the weekend, in the week was like a ghost town with only a couple of shops and bars actually open, we could only find restaurants serving open on friday and saturday night, and the cafe on the parc was pretty poor quality and expensive, even the take away chicken shop was closed until july! if we had known all this, we definitely would not have gone here, also no tv in the mobile home I thought is pretty poor, the only saving factor was how nice the parc grounds were and the beautiful beach, which made up for most of the downfalls.
Samuel from Oxford (27 May 2015)

Very good.after 25 years of eurocamping we still enjoy this holiday.
Peter from Skipton (26 May 2015)

Caravan lovely plot 8 much too small. Our car too big had to park next door that wouldn't be possible in july/august. Other people also had the same problem.
Confirmed Holidaymaker from Whitstable, Kent (16 May 2015)

Excellent camp lots of family friendly focus in every detail in everything,
Florence from Tonyrefail (16 May 2015)

Food on site poor, eurocamp staff very good though.
Robert (14 May 2015)

We have always wanted to go to northern spain and it wasn't a let down, the little down of noja only 40 min walk from our site and the coast line was amazing
Wendy from Rotherham (14 May 2015)

Nothing to do, shop on site, absolutely rubbish. You seriously need transport to get to a supermarket, the reps were new to the site, and could not do enough for you, brilliant. Overall the three days there were ok.
Russell from Barnsley (05 May 2015)

We visited at the end of the season during the last week of august, first of september, during which time it became progressively emptier & quieter. We really liked it - it's a large campsite, very continental and the majority of campers when we were there were spanish, with some dutch & german. Eurocamp had about 28 pitches so, whilst there were some english voices, it felt like a very european parc. Our pitch was right on the beach-side edge of the campsite, so we had a great view and were not overlooked on every side. The eurocamp mobiles seemed to be in great positions. The emplacements are bordered by trees which gives great shade & privacy. The whole site is well laid out with tree-lined roads & path ways. Good facilities - a well-stocked shop, great pool. There is wifi in areas of the parc but you pay extra for it - 2 euros for an hour per device.
Sarah from Redruth (04 September 2014)

This park is well kept, clean and very busy - which is a good sign. What was poor was the pools - very cold and not as clean as we are used to - there was too much leaf litter and too many dead insects - these fall naturally into the pools but they need to be cleaned out several times a day to keep the pool attractive to kids. The camp disco was dismal and not appropriate for kids really so although the couriers adam and jamie were great and the accommodation was good, the camp facilities looked like they were under invested in. The big compensation (this is probably why the pools are basic) is the location. The access to the beautiful playa de ris beach was brilliant and the sea and sand were all you could ask for.
David (02 September 2014)

Only spent 3 nights here so hard to assess properly
Miranda (31 August 2014)

Scuffy parc with limited facilities- horrid shop and terrible restaurant- do not eat there! . it is however situated on a stunning beach which is not too busy and has lovely shallow pools to swim in at low tide, lots of rock pools for kids to explore. couriers are lovely and very helpful, spontaneous assistance without any fuss- felt very warm and welcoming.
Confirmed Holidaymaker (30 August 2014)

7th year in a row..must be a great place. Love the beach and the area. Fabulous trip to the picos possible!
Louise from Southampton (30 August 2014)

Loved it!
Deborah from Hampton (29 August 2014)

Lovely location on the most beautiful beach in a lovely part of spain .
Ann-Marie from Reading (26 August 2014)

Excellent site, couriers were brilliant, decent shop. Beach is one of the best and suits all ages. Only downside is camp restaurant which is a shocker. The camp shop however is very good
Andrew from Hartley Wintney (26 August 2014)

This is a really excellent park because of its proximity to the beach. the camp also has some shops and takeaways that make it easy. we would like to visit it again in the future.
Confirmed Holidaymaker from Shrwesbury (25 August 2014)

I felt the parc was over large and the children completely unruly on their bicycles
Moira from West Sussex (25 August 2014)

The beach at noja is fantastic both for surfing and for snorkelling. there are some nice restaurants both in noja and in nearby isla. the park is ok but the pool is very small and the restaurant is nothing special. the weather is unpredictable
Tony from Wallingford (23 August 2014)

We went with 4 other families, and the children loved cycling round the campsite to and from our pitches, the play area, the field. It was 30 seconds' walk to a beautiful beach, and the sea was far warmer than the swimming pool! it made it really easy being so close - we popped back to our chalet for lunch and the kids adored the wild rabbits hopping around the site!
Laura from London (23 August 2014)

Very clean van.. super helpful staff and fantastic beach. This has been our third year and love the position of the vans as we are so near to the beach. Food at campsite great in shop, love chicken man and restaurant pretty good value too
Judith from Birmingham (21 August 2014)

The accommodation was good. The couriers were only interested in showing us the accommodation & visiting us to ensure we left on time. Otherwise they were inconspicuous. The restaurants looked a bit bland & shabby. The pool area was good, & the animal farm was fun for our kids.
Stephen from London (20 August 2014)

A spacious mobile home very close to the gate to the beach. Great beach - very clean and with a river joining the sea at this point it is very picturesque, with plenty of fish and crabs for children to hunt in the lovely clear rockpools. The campsite was busy but the pools would be better if they had slides. It gets very crowded around the entrance of the site where the pools, shop, reception etc are. Onsite restaurant pretty ordinary and a bit pricey but staff very helpful.
Carolyn from London (18 August 2014)

This was our fifth time at playa joyel either with keycamp or now eurocamo. That speaks for itself!
Lindsay from Twickenham (18 August 2014)

Good site - although not a noot a lot and site and small pitches, the huge adjacent beach makes up for it. Weather can be wet though
Tim (16 August 2014)

A great family holiday. The beach is amazing; huge with lots of space for games and rock pooling opportunities at low tide. We were there nearly every day. Our kids (3&7) also enjoyed the recreation ground and feeding the animals. Our accommodation was clean and well equipped. There were a couple of rainy days but we used these to visit cabarceno animal park and altamira caves.
Alexander from Cambridge (15 August 2014)

Great holiday, everything was made easy for us from start to finish by euro camp. Great campsite and beach. Noja itself was not very interesting.
Gill from Cranleigh (11 August 2014)

Great location great caravan. Not much going on near by. Reps not very proactive in suggesting things to do / places to eat.
Steve from Brighton (09 August 2014)

Wonderful holiday if you like the beach. more information about places to visit locally would have been useful, and how to get there.
Ann from Ormskirk (07 August 2014)

We really enjoyed the parc at playa joyel. It was well organised and there was something for everyone. The couriers were available when needed. We liked the extra games you could borrow and equipment for the beach e.g. Bats, balls and board games.
Mary from Norwich (06 August 2014)

Positives: parc situated on beautiful beach - very picturesque. Parc clean and tidy- showers and toilets spotlessly clean. Eurocamp couriers- jamie and adam exceptionally helpful. Negatives- supermarket very small. Restaurant- terrible and overpriced food. Playground area very basic- could do with more apparatus. Bicycle hire- very few bikes available- only one child's bike available so my sons had to share it. Overpriced hire rate- €10 a day for very old child's bike. Bring your own if you can. No helmets available either. All staff on parc very friendly and helpful. Eurocamp caravan in good condition and clean. Overall an enjoyable holiday
Emma from London (06 August 2014)

We enjoyed being so near to the beach, the pitch size was very small (about the smallest of all eurocamp mobile homes), the shower did not work properly and there were no wooden chairs in our mobile home.
John from Cockermouth (04 August 2014)

Felt as though jamie and sam are a real asset to eurocamp. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Always smiling and ready to greet us.
Customer 82 (03 August 2014)

Playa joyel is in an ideal location. The beach is beautiful and the parc itself is very well maintained. Some things are a little irritating like the lack of wifi especially when you have paid. 15 euros for a service which at best is poor at worst it's non existent !. also depending on where your mobile home is situated there can be a lack of privacy especially when other euro campers use your plot as a thoroughfare.maybe some people need gentle reminders of camp site etiquette. All that said the mobile home was well equipped. For the price paid maybe bedding should be provided . we had a good time despite the niggles
Joseph from Darwen (02 August 2014)

Reps were helpful, accomodation immculate
Robyn from Whitchurch (31 July 2014)

Everythig was wonderful - our third time at this parc and the best yet! can't wait to book for next year.
Tamara from Falmouth (30 July 2014)

Lovely site. Shaded and private pitches. Beach is lovely for small children. Good kids club run by campsite - our kids loved it.
Christopher (27 July 2014)

A new site for us and we ll be returning, believe me. An unspoilt jewel in the eurocamp crown.
Peter (24 July 2014)

Excellent park although the bar and restaurant is a bit basic. Right on the beach which is great. Special mention for the eurocamp staff adam and jamie who are absolutely brilliant, best we have seen.
Kevin from Belfast (18 July 2014)

Great location in wonderful part of spain. Beach and parc amazing. Lots to do and see or lovely spots to do nothing at all. We will be back. Have done picos europa before but still lots to see.
Kerry from Upholland (18 July 2014)

Cabin excellent, very clean and good site adjacent to beach. Campsite very well organised, wifi good reception helpful with this. Did not use the restaurant on site, quite pricey and run by a tourist chain. Had no appeal for us and restaurants in nearby village were much more local food choices and lively to visit. couriers, jamie and adam, were very good - helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Beach was excellent, not ever very crowded and immaculately clean (we were there in early july), camp animal park better than expected.
Nick from Alford, Scotland (17 July 2014)

Enjoyed the beach and the waves - body boarding and surfing lessons. the estuary to the west was calmer for paddling, swimming and a go at paddle boarding. we didn't use the pool much, not very exciting and the beach was so good. nice mix of mostly spanish on parc but also a few scottish, irish, english, french, german visitors. the eurocamp couriers, adam and jamie, were really helpful and friendly. after a week in noja we went to llanes for a few days - nearer the picos de europa, which should not be missed.
Anne from Edinburgh (15 July 2014)

Most enjoyable,
Michael from Aberford Leeds (14 July 2014)

Good parc and gret location. Bit short on shildrens play areas perhaps and lacking on reclycling facilities
Confirmed Holidaymaker (10 July 2014)

Fantastic campsite, beautiful location, the reps were there when you needed them with useful information, very helpful. Can't fault this holiday.
Jill from Glossop (09 July 2014)

Good location
Steve from London (09 July 2014)

The parc was clean and well maintained and in a lovely position so close to the beach. Reps are great. Unfortunately no eurocamp kids club, and the spanish one is a little free and easy. If you need internet connection do not go here. The camp offer connection at about £12 per week but that is location based and so slow you will likely chew your arm off waiting.
Elliotts from Brighton (03 July 2014)

Overall we enjoyed our stay. the only minus point was the position of the accommodation. this backed onto the camp football and basketball facility. this was very noisy whilst in use and the campsite allowed usage until midnight. this meant that daytime relaxing around the accommodation was difficult and on one or two nights activity was going on after we had gone to bed making it difficult to sleep.
Rod from Melton Mowbray (01 July 2014)

Fantastic location for beautiful beach has to be the highlight of this holiday. It is also within a lovely nature reserve which due to the tides is constantly changing.the parc is attractive with some generous plots and open green spaces. The on site shop was well stocked with reasonable prices. The town of noja is a little disappointing, modern and lacking in charatcter. The surrounding countryside is green and easy on the eye, almost alpine in parts. Apart from the beach there is not a lot to see in the local area. Santillana del mar and castro urdiales are worth the 50mile round trip . our experience was certainly enhanced by the customer service skills and willingness to help of the two eurocamp couriers (adam and jamie) who are a credit to eurocamp . if you are simply looking for a beach holiday then this site is for you. However, if you are looking for more varied scenery and touring options then this is somewhat limited. There seemed nowhere to go of an evening other than the nightclubs in noja.
Paul from Folkestone (30 June 2014)

Excellent break
William from Milton Keynes (29 June 2014)

Park is set alongside one of the most stunning beaches we've ever seen! great animal sanctuary on site too. The pitches are very close together though and park was very busy even off peak. The spanish holidaymakers eat late (restaurants off site not open until 7/8pm) and the spanish children were playing outside until midnight which was quite noisy when you have toddlers/babies. Nice place but won't be in a rush to go back.
Helen from Knutsford (28 June 2014)

Nice quiet setting on the edge of the beach. 15 minute walk to local small town facilities. Friendly park staff in a well kept environment. Relaxing beach holiday.
Richard from Northumberland (28 June 2014)

For us twas just a few nights before catching the ferry from bilbao but a great site - pity you have to wear bathing caps at the pool. Mobiles are tastefully arranged and you can have peace and quiet if you like.
Patrick (26 June 2014)

Driving directions to campsite could have been better. relied on a left turn after a pharmacy, which we did not notice. had the instructions included the name of the road into which we should make the turn, then we would have found the site no problems. we were driving in torrential rain at the time.
Customer 103 from Amersham (02 September 2013)

Great holiday . only a short walk to the beech and to the pool. Parc was quiet at night so good for the children to get to sleep. Best holiday ever.
Jackie (31 August 2013)

We had a good family week, very relaxed as we loved the site location , next to the beach and our rep was lovely ( as was our euro camp mobile home) but unfortunately we will not return to the camp site/park it self as we felt it was good for tennagers and to get to the beach, the parc didn't have enough for us ! also prior to coming to this site , we had spent a week in france at another similiar park and paid a similiar price for 8 nights and we thought we got allot more for our money ! .
Tracey from Guisborough (28 August 2013)

Very easy, direct access to a lovely beach
Caroline from Welwyn (25 August 2013)

Lovely parc, so close to the beach ! beautiful surroundings and very convenient for the santander ferry and airport. The ferry crossing was a great experience. The only way to travel !
Robin from Carlton (24 August 2013)

We had two weeks here and could have done with and extra week. Great access to the beach meant that we never used the pool. We are already thinking about booking this site again.
Michael from Appleby (24 August 2013)

We would like to express how helpful and attentive the two reps were! they were the best we've come across so far. The beach here is gorgeous and perfect for our children. They loved the waves and the clear sea bed! it is a fair walk in to the town but plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. The onsite supermarket was adequate and well priced. We'll definitely go back.
Customer 109 from York (23 August 2013)

We had a fantastic holiday with our accommodation only 2 minutes walk from the beach. the couriers were very approachable and had a good knowledge of the area. a defect that occurred on our accommodation was quickly resolved with no fuss. Only drawback was that the pool and shop were close to the entrance to the site and was therefore busy with guests arriving and leaving although all vehicles drove with care. This was the first time I had been to northern spain and I was very impressed. there are long sandy un-crowded beached every few kilometres and plenty of other places to visit. the surroundings are very green with the mountains as a backdrop and a temperature range of 20-30 degrees celsius in mid aug. majority of other visitors were spanish and the area did not feel over commercialised or uk centric. would defiantly come here again.
Michael from Bath (21 August 2013)

Very good park with good facilities. But very busy being so large. Shops and pool are at the main entrance so lots of cars around making it dangerous for children. Excellent beach for all ages and the situation couldn't be better.
Customer 111 from Plymouth (21 August 2013)

We had been before but found lots of new places to go and the beach is just wonderful. Decking on the accomodation is a great addition and the shop is well stocked and reasonable.
Judith (19 August 2013)

In the main we had a good holiday, however there was not as much as we hoped to do either on the campsite or visit locally. the campsite was clean but the swimming hat rule put my boys off going to the pool. I noticed a difference not having any kids clubs and the caravans seemed closer to one another than at other sites, making any privacy difficult at times.
Ailsa from Dorking (19 August 2013)

Too many pitches, too claustrophobic, trees too high, too much shade, not enough sunlight even on a sunny day. No privacy, overlooked by too many pitches.tired, troublesome shower, could not get even temperature, shower outlet blocked. Also had two power cuts.lots of ants everywhere, even in fridge. Excellent courier wonderful clean beach and water.
Stephen from Churchdown (19 August 2013)

The ferry trip to santander was great and when we arrived the camp was only a short drive, the whole area was stunning. we used our bikes to explore the camp and the local area and spent hours in the beautiful sandy beach. we would love to go back!
Vanessa from Calstock (18 August 2013)

This was our first spanish campsite after several trips to the dordogne. the site has a great location by the beach. the caravan was modern and in good condition. . . the restaurant was not great on site in comparison to france which is a challenge if you don't want bbq or drive to local restauranta.
Clare from London (17 August 2013)

Camp was lovely but had no evening entertainment such as a disco/bar. . the kids clubs were nowhere to be seen but all other facilities were excellent and cannot be faulted. Beach is excellent and only a few minutes walk away. . . eurocamp need to make it clear that no bed sheets are supplied!!!. our courier was very friendly and helpful.
Lisa from Plymouth (14 August 2013)

Hi. Only recommendation for the parc is a better restaurant and lower prices for the summer holidays.
Belinda (13 August 2013)

Great camp, great location
David from Sheffield (12 August 2013)

Pitches very small and limited evening sun
Paula from Surrey (10 August 2013)

Key camp reps friendly, helpful and full of knowledge. Loved the easy access to beach.
Debra from Croydon (10 August 2013)

Beautiful setting and beach. Caravan was immaculate, as is the site. Only criticism is that the plots are a little small for a car and relaxing.
Simon from Manchester (07 August 2013)

We had a great time at playa joyel: the weather was good, the beach fantastic, the accommodation spacious and spotless.
Charles from London (07 August 2013)

A very busy camp but it was very clean and tidy and the location was fantastic. The beach was superb and great for bodyboarding. It was also lovely to be able to walk into noja.
Karen from Whitley Bay (01 August 2013)

Very clean and well maintained camp. The caravans were too close together though.
Eleanor from Craig (31 Jul 2013)

Even though we only left noja itself a few times there was plenty to see and do on the beach,in the town and on the coast walk. We enjoyed the fact that the beach was so big that it never felt crowded. Sadona was lovely and being able to walk to playa isla at low tide was nice. Crab watching and the marsh walk from outside soano good.
Richard from Northamptonshire (29 Jul 2013)

We had a brilliant time but we were lucky with the weather.you must expect to have rainy days in this part of spain. We were 8 people in a 3 bed caravan so we were a bit squashed but we managed. it would be much better for 6.the pull out bed in the lounge area was very uncomfortable. The park was huge with 3 good sized pools and a large area for children to play.the kids club was good but no english spoken. Without doubt, the best thing about the area is the beach. It is fabulous. There are huge rock pools which are very safe for children and great fun collecting crabs. The sea is also very clean and the estuary is also a fun place to be to look for fish and bathe. The park is on a nature reserve and well worth the walk to look at the wetlands. The shop was reasonably priced but the supermarket just outside noja was great .amazingly cheap wine and spirits. The fresh butchers dept. Was also very good value--especially for bbq. meat. We had 2 trips--the guggenheim in bilbao and santillana de mar with comillas to see the gaudi house.both near enough but santander also looked like a good day out but we didn't have the time or inclination to go out again. We were enjoying ourselves too much at the park.
Linda from Cardiff (23 Jul 2013)

Excellent, would highly recommend
John from Halifax (23 Jul 2013)

Fantastic beach right beside the camp! parc could do with better food and bigger swimming pool.
Elodie from Peebles (22 Jul 2013)

We had a great holiday at playa joyel. The parc was nicely laid out with lots of trees and very well kept. Our caravan (villagrand deluxe) was the best mobile home we've had so far and being a two minute walk from the lovely clean and sandy beach was fantastic. It never got crowded and we went in july.this part of spain has everything, sea, mountains and lots of historic towns and villages to explore. We'd love to go back again!
Sally from Penrith , Cumbria (16 Jul 2013)

Every thing was perfect, even the weather, peter & judy the couriers were fantastic and more than helpful, we would go back to this parc again.
Michael from Aberford Leeds (15 Jul 2013)

Julia our campsite courier was very helpful very practical and with a happy demeanour I had gret confidence that she could sort any problem and would do it happily - thank you
Jacqueline from Noja (10 Jul 2013)

Really enjoyed the site.
Betty from Glasgow (09 Jul 2013)

The parc was above my expectations and the location and beach amazing. Wonderful first holiday with our children.
Michael from Charente France (09 Jul 2013)

Superb parc and beach. Great for kids.
Fergus from Scotland (06 Jul 2013)

Playa joyel is located in a beautiful nature reserve in noja. The parc was easily accessible, short distance from museums, zoo, game reserves. Noja town had loads of local festivity that were also interesting and it was in total a lovely holiday
Adetomilola from Aberdeen (30 Jun 2013)

Everybody enjoyed. Park had good facilities, eurocamp courier was excellent, really helpful.
Katharine from Swansea (30 Jun 2013)

Stayed just 3 nights. Rained heavily for all but 1hour, sun for 10 mins.
Alun from Poole (28 Jun 2013)

Unfortunately the weather was very wet so that rather spoilt things!
Dorothy from Bebington (27 Jun 2013)

This was our first visit to northern spain - what a beautiful part of the world. The parc is family run and doesn't feel commercial at all. Emplacements are well spaced, and the grounds are well cared for. The overall feeling is that you are in the countryside. The beach is beautiful. What really made the holiday was the friendliness, care and knowledge of the keycamp reps.
Sally from Gloucestershire (26 Jun 2013)

Excellent holiday. An area we like very much
Dorothy from Consett Co. Durham (24 Jun 2013)

Area of spain. This year the weather rain.
Customer 142 from Leigh (24 Jun 2013)

1 day of sun pool needs to be heated and able to be used all weathers sliding cover needed as other parks season had not started shops closed as restuarants was told it started end start of august we felt miss informed on this time to have a holiday in this part of spain.
Martin from Tunbridge Wells (22 Jun 2013)

Great parc, excellent accommodation, caring, helpfull currier. We have been planning to visit this parc since the children were small, (did eurcamp in france) when they were little, they are grown up now so my husband and I decided to go alone, really enjoyed the peace and quiet of a june visit before its gets too busy
Patricia from Greater Manchester (22 Jun 2013)

The overall holiday marks are more a reflection on the weather, which is of course entirely outside your control. The lower 'value for money' mark does not reflect your overall costs, which were very accsptable. Our only slight disappointment was in the £70 odd charge for the additional night, admittedly arranged very obligingly and at short notice, but slightly more than we paid for a one night stay in a brand new hotel in dax the night before. As a late add on, it just felt a bit heavy.
John from Leek, Staffordshire (20 Jun 2013)

Good location but weather dependant as not much to do if weather poor. Excellent location for beach holiday.
Nigel from West Yorkshire (20 Jun 2013)

We stayed at playa joyel from the end of may to mid june. the weather was changeable but the friendliness of the people on site and surrounding area made up for it.
Janet from West Sussex (17 Jun 2013)
