A great holiday park with fantastic facilities. Clean and tidy, friendly staff, short walk to the excellent beach, a well stocked shop and a handy location to explore the area. The safari tent was brilliant and we'd love to stay in one again. A word of warning though, the nightly entertainment shows go on till midnight and as they take place in the outdoor amphitheater there is no escaping the music, not ideal with a small child, or if you fancy an early night. We will wait till he's older to return to this particular park.
Christopher from Manchester (10 September 2015)

Would definately re visit this parc again, very clean! our caravan was ok, not very clean, would have preferred a different one but certainly didn't stop us enjoying our holiday.
Nicola from Eastbourne/ East Sussex (08 September 2015)

Loved the holiday wish we had a car. . things to far away.
Lisa (04 September 2015)

The park was fantastic, plenty to do if you wanted it, quiet space if you didn't and direct access to a great beach. The accommodation was very shabby and in need of replacement, not what I expected from eurocamp.
Colin from Leeds (04 September 2015)

My family had a great holiday, eldest grandchildren, could have done with some teenagers that spoke their language.we did not go in brittish holiday time.good walking area for these who want to have day out from camp .great beach.youngest grandson loved it.would deff go agian.
Margaret from Scotland (03 September 2015)

A beautiful, well-run campsite with plenty of shade, direct beach access and good camp shop. not enough tents on the site though on our last visit five years ago there must have been at least three times as many tents as this year. it is now very difficult to get a site with tents and direct beach access on the mediterranean for the required dates.
Diana from London (03 September 2015)

Fantastic holiday great value for money plenty to do great entertainment
Joanne from Essex (02 September 2015)

Jane from Maidenhead (30 August 2015)

Nice local people, grasping local 'attractions', park is ok, very good evening entertainment for the children, good on-site shops.
Peter from Harlow (30 August 2015)

Cramped. Air conditioning on a timer that required resetting after 2 hrs. Average temperature at night was 30 degrees and no a/c. If eurocamp charge for accommodation with a/c they should provide it.
Caroline from Yeovil (30 August 2015)

The late loud music spoilt the rest of the holiday. 3 o'clock in the morning is far too late on a family camp.
Customer 11 (29 August 2015)

Lovely holidays but too expensive, accomodation terribly dirty upon arrival, had to clean ourselves. Besides, my complaint would be about the site being advertised as perfect for kitesurfing, which is not allowed around there and was a bit of a waste of time and money for me as I could have gone elsewhere. Just misleading and disappointing, other than that, lovely place and a nice, kids friendly parc.
Roman from Greenford (28 August 2015)

This park was clean and lively and packed with things to do if you wanted to. The on site food was really good especially in the pool bar. It was a very short walk to a great beach where the views were fantastic. .
Kerry from Harrogate (25 August 2015)

We had a fabulous time in spain. the site was extremely well kept, helpful staff and perfect location for beach or pool activities. Only downside was the small sizes of the pitches and the fact the caravans had been set up facing each other (didn't need to be) and therefore overlooking the other family all the time.
Joanna from Tunbridge Wells (24 August 2015)

Overall enjoyed the holiday but expected more for the amount of money we paid
Julie from Hertfordshire (22 August 2015)

Our second visit to this park and another great holiday. we had a bigger caravan this year, which was better, though pitches are very small and when our neighbours were on their decking, we could hear every word from inside our caravan. the caravan was spotless when we arrived. The pool is lovely and opens at 9am - there were usually some empty sun beds until about 10 o'clock so we always managed to find a space. Pool bar is nice and very reasonable for coffees and ice cream. The closeness of the beach is another plus, so we generally spent the afternoon there. It can get busy but we always found space for a couple of towels. Oasis park beach bar good for refreshments too. camp supermarket is well stocked and reasonably priced, also baguettes are freshly baked all day - just 99cents for two! we went to one of the shows, which was impressive. We took a trip to tarragona one morning (had a hire car) which was lovely but spent the rest of the holiday in the park relaxing, swimming and soaking up the sun!
Karen from London (21 August 2015)

Great park with lots of activities. Excellent beach within walking distance. We were very lucky with our accommodation in an excellent position, however some looked very cramped and over crowded on other parts of the site.
Tina from Oxford (17 August 2015)

Camp location, facilities and entertainment very good. Eurocamp accommodation very dated and and plot extremely small. Decking directly adjacent to our neighbours (who were fortunately very nice). holiday spoiled by one of our party reacting badly to mosquito bites.
Chria from Preston (15 August 2015)

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, the accommodation was good, the park was beautiful, plenty of things going on to keep us occupied. The eurocamp couriers were always very polite, cheerful and ready to help whenever needed, although they didn't always know the answer to a question (eg market days) we managed to get the answers from main reception. Overall it was so good that we are hoping to go back next year if not definitely the year after
Andrea from Callington (14 August 2015)

Our overall holiday, over 3 different sites was good, although our main site: park playa bara, for us, was disappointing.
Simon from Spilsby (14 August 2015)

Thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of playa bara, facilities are second to none. Great staff and a large array of entertainment on offer for all ages, ensures never a dull moment. Our ten day stay wasn't enough, and we shall be looking to visit again in the future.
Geoffrey from Ruislip (14 August 2015)

We loved our 9 day stay at playa bara. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and though it's full of campers it still feels spacious. . . the beach is a short pleasant walk away and well worth the effort. All the bars and restaurants offered good food, reasonably priced. . . the pool is good but the children would have loved a bigger slide. . we would definitely consider returning next year.
Sarah from Dorking (14 August 2015)

3rd time on site. Perfect active holiday with superb facilities and talented camp animation team
Michael from Wirral (12 August 2015)

Excellent site, good facilities, lovely beach, very easy access, great evening entertainment.
Michael from Bedfordshire (11 August 2015)

Brilliant site, only fault was tents scattered in between caravans and motorhomes and very noisy to sleep with all generators going all night
James from Preston (11 August 2015)

Excellent parc in a great location - beach excellent and backs straight onto the parc. Staff very helpful and cheerful, apart from in the pool bar restaurant where they looked harassed and a but miserable. . . the only down side was our eurocamp unit which felt a bit grubby, small and smelly. We definitely got allocated one of the poorer units as some of the other ones appeared to be significantly better. . .
Owen from Hitchin (10 August 2015)

Accommodation dodgy . would not recommend eurocamp mobile home no 4 21 due to it's dodgy electricity. had at least 5/6 blackouts during our stay and my husband had to call an english number every time to get electricity turned back on and we're irish. we were without electricity 5 hours one night. we also had an invasion of ants coming through the ceiling near the top bunk in the kids bedroom on our first night. we bought duct tape to try and keep them out which worked ok. it certainly wasn't what I wanted to see when I was making up the kids beds on the first night and I was afraid to let my daughter sleep on the top bunk. so while i'd recommend the campsite, I wont b recommending the accomodation.
Mairead from Dublin (08 August 2015)

Beautiful well kept site. Great for all ages. Shop reasonably priced but well stocked. beach a few minutes walk and lovely golden sand. Nice atmosphere day and night un resort. Entertainment in evening's was enjoyable ad amphitheatre was very impressive. only downside was pool too busy with older kids but hey the beach was more fun anyway for my 9yr old. Definitely would go again.
Adrienne from Northampton (08 August 2015)

We had a great week . we would recommend this parc to friends. The surroundings were superb , beach was extremely close and extremely safe for children. Entertainment was first class and shop and restaurants were of a high standard.
Confirmed Holidaymaker from Sittingbourne (08 August 2015)

Fantastic resort, we will definitely return but probably not with eurocamp. Pool, grounds, facilities and staff were all brilliant. The beach was lovely too. The shop was reasonably priced, 2 euro for 6 san miguels! they also deliver in a golf buggy if you ask. We paid over 2k for 10 restless nights in a vista midi. We did not expect the living space to be as small as it was. We had a bbq but not so much as a pair of tongues to use! our caravan faced our neighbours decking so we were only a couple of feet away, no idea why they don't do them back to back. No privacy at al,l you could hear everything our neighbours were saying! the major issue was the fact that the aircon turns off every 2 hours! they don't mention that in their description. Either me or my husband were up every 2-2 1/2 hours in the night to turn it back on.
Kathryn from High Wycombe (07 August 2015)

Playa bara had every possible amenity and was beautifully presented and well managed. We stayed in an aspect mobile home and were very impressed. Our children (6 and 9) loved the evening entertainment and the mini disco! the pool and beach were rather crowded but that is to be expected in high season. This is he first eurocamp holiday without a car and we really didn't miss it! there is a lovely short walk along the coast to the neighbouring village, and we had great day trips out to tarragona and barcelona on public transport. The supermarket on site was substantial and offered good value for money and there is also a supermarket across the road from the main entrance. Lovely restaurant by the beach. A great holiday - we would certainly return!
Clare from Bath (07 August 2015)

Brilliant park highly recommended!
Tracy (07 August 2015)

The park was a lot bigger and noisier than we anticipated but if you like sharing your swimming pool with loads of other people then it's fine!! the location was fab as it was near some lovely areas like torredembara and tarragona. The eurocamp couriers were very friendly and helpful.
Peter from Surrey (01 August 2015)

Great camp but poor accommodation by eurocamp.
Caylan from Strangford (28 July 2015)

Playa bara was very presentable however pitches were very tight and at the time of year we went (end july) it was full of groups of 18 year olds giving the place a feel of a 18-30 club. The beach next to the site is incredibly crowded so a car is required to travel to quieter beaches. The pool is also not big enough at that time of year. Airotels pyrenees was stunning. Best for people who expect that everyday will not be perfect weather but great little site with excellent couriers. Lots of different activities to try even in overcast weather. Cycling is amazing. Excellent roads and many hills.
Sarah from Caterham (27 July 2015)

We have holidayed at playa bara on many occasions so knew what to expect from the parc itself. We had booked an esprit home but realised after a couple of days that we were actually in a vista. Not a new vista but an old one recently refurbished. The mattress covers were badly stained as was the seating area within the accommodation. We pointed out to the reps that we were in the wrong mobile but they said we weren't and to complain to head office on our return if we were not happy.
Craig from London (27 July 2015)

We had a great time. This was the first time we have taken a holiday of this sort, as we usually stay in hotels. I am converted!. . the aspect holiday home was perfect and had a great decked patio. The camp offered plenty to do for my 15 year old son and his two friends. . we loved the beach, which was clean and not too busy. . overall it was a lovely holiday. The only negative was the noise at times from the nightclub, due to our proximity to it. If the dj's were to turn it down a touch it would probably not be a problem. . . I am looking forward to returning to playa bara in future.
Andrea from Liverpool (23 July 2015)

We have been to france for 6 years now with euro camp and this was our first visit to spain. The park and facilities were fantastic. the only downside for us was the mobile was very old and worn. it was also not very clean. the couriers could also do with being given an update on how to get to port aventura. however we enjoyed ourselves that much we have already booked again for next year. I would have liked to have been able to specify a mobile that we would have liked to stay in but this park does not offer that facility. we have put it in the comments on our booking so hopefully we will get the one we want. thanks euro camp.
Raymond from N Ireland (18 July 2015)

Overall excellent holiday. it is a beautiful park, ideally located and with plenty for the children to do.
Ann from Castlewellan (17 July 2015)

Accommodation very dirty and beds were stinking and smelly
Kieran (07 July 2015)

The parc was a very nice park in a good location. The eurocamp couriers should have greater knowledge of the local area, on a few occasions there where maps and information available but it wasn't passed onto us. . also the price for the holiday was a little more than we would like to pay in the future given that other companies are offering a vastly discounted rate compared to eurocamp
Darren (07 July 2015)

The site was lovely but nothing nearby to do at all 1 hr and two buses to salou which was hard in the heat with young kids the kids club was useless to us as mainly spanish kids so my child felt left out and only went on a few occasions the bar served you in plastic cups which was a bit basic two weeks with one bar and two restaurants was very repetitive. But the worst thing was the caravan paid to upgrade but very disappointed was not clean at all I had to clean on arrival and other people we met said the same also so small found it hard to even storer my suitcases the whole park covered in trees so could not sit in sun on decking and in evening still couldn't sit out as the trees seemed to make mosquito situation worse. This parc does not compare to bella italia in italy at all. We also got whistled at and put out of the main pool in front of everyone because my one year old was holding a small toy in her hand really ridiculous. Also on the morning we where leaving it states we have caravan until 11.00am but the eurocamp lady just came on into caravan at 10.00am and started cleaning round us which we found very uncomfortable when we where trying to pack and clean out our stuff we where rushed out by 10.20 even though our taxi didn't come to 11.15 we had to stand out in the heat for nearly an hour with a one year old. I also came to hate the fact there was a swim up bar in the pool as lots if men stood all round smoking and drinking in the water which by the first week in july the pool was so busy it was standing room only this was the first holiday we could not wait to come home.
Jason from Newcastle Co Down (06 July 2015)

Overall a great family holiday. The campsite had loads to keep our kids (ages 4 & 8) occupied and we hired a car to travel further afield. Portaventura well worth a visit if you like theme parks and there are good water parks locally too. My husband had his wallet stollen on the train to barcelona which put a dampener on things but overall a great holiday.
Alison from Edinburgh (05 July 2015)

Great holiday location.
Michael from Dublin (04 July 2015)

2 site holiday:. playa-bara in spain our accommodation faced another accommodation. No privacy at all. We are an older couple with no children now, and we were living literally with a young coup,e with 3 small children. . le beach garden in france was lovely accommodation but again they were all facing each other and no privacy at all. Also considering these were brand new, you could not park your car next to units. Fair walk when you were unpacking etc.
Angela from Stockton (27 June 2015)

First time at a park so can't compare to another experience but very happy
Customer 46 from Ireland (26 June 2015)

Really good family park. We've done a fair few of these types of holidays now & this park rates in the top 2 or 3. Really well laid out. Big enough to keep kids attention but small enough to have everything at hand. We are a family of 2 adults & 2 kids ( 7 & 8 ). loads to do, great pool, good entertainment in the evening ( considering it was mid june ), good facilities, beside the beach. Only down side is that's it's not really close to anything else. If you don't have a car you might struggle.bus service not great. There is a very good supermarket right outside the main front entrance ( straight across the road ). overall a great holiday..would certainly recommend the park.
Mark from Derry..Ireland (26 June 2015)

We have used eurocamp for >20 years and been to playa bara at least 5 times. members of our family probably bring the total up to at least 10 times. frankly we were quite disappointed with the eurocamp experience this time. See our comments below.
Edward from Wynn (23 June 2015)

A wonderful experience and a brilliant resort for young families with lots to do for toddlers and older kids alike without splitting the family up to do so. Marred only by the lack of sleep being next to the entertainment which was a huge source of disappointment despite being of good quality, the cabin location was totally unsuitable for a young family.
Jay from Chippenham (20 June 2015)

Had a brilliant time loved barcelona and tarragonna had a couple of thunderstorms would go again
Andrew from Harrogate (16 June 2015)

The parc is perfectly located and easily accessible from barcelona airport which was great when you have restless little people. Facilities on the parc were very good, especially the pool area with plenty of space and pools to suit all ages. We read reviews saying that they were strict in the pool but we didn't find this at all and I think we heard the whistle blown twice in 10 days we were there! . the entertainment starts quite late on (10pm) so we never saw any of this as our children were 2 and 3, but our accommodation was far enough away to not wake the kids up. Strangely we noticed some of the more expensive accommodation for eurocamp was next to the amphitheatre so goodness knows how they managed to escape the noise! if i'd paid for the fancier homes and safari tents i'd want to be able to relax and enjoy them. . the main playground was well laid out and good for all ages and the smaller play areas were clean and well presented. The onsite shop had a large variety of items but was slightly overpriced but this is to be expected, we opted to go to the local mercadona instead 10 minutes away. The nearby beach was also great and a good option to mix it up between pool and beach for the kids too. You dont really have to leave the site if you dont want to. We did day trips out to tarragona and barcelona which were both easy drives and the local towns nearby have your normal spanish beach resort feel to them. We stayed in a 3 bed 1 bath espirit located near the top of the parc away from the evening noise but a brief 2 minute walk from the pool - perfect. Beware of mosquitos in the evening and the noisy train line some evenings too. Didnt notice it every evening but some nights there were more trains than others.
Holly from Lancaster (14 June 2015)

Great parc, everything we needed for our toddler, very clean and green parc!
Jessica from Leeds (09 June 2015)

We had a fab time. The children (6 &8) loved it too. The pools were great and they enjoyed the evening entertainment. The parc was not too busy and it was lovely to sit on our decking each evening, very peaceful.
Lynsey from Cronton (06 June 2015)

Overall, very happy with the holiday. Park was perfect for us, especially when travelling with two young kids!
Ross from Aberdeen (05 June 2015)

Fantastic holiday. Parc had everything we needed as a family with 3 boys of varying ages
Tara (31 May 2015)

This holiday park was a fantastic find! palm trees and shade everywhere, brilliant, extensive pool area, right on the beach with stunning walks along a cliffside promenade to a little port village tourist destination and completed by stunning roman theming through-out the park with an impressive amphitheatre and a real 2000-year old roman arch (national monument) at the entrance. Only 30 minutes drive from barcelona airport, this is one place I can see us coming back to. Looking at the many other holiday parks around, this one was clearly head and shoulders above the rest.
Wayne from Woking (30 May 2015)

Beautiful site, friendly couriers, unfortunalty mobile facility's not as described. Broken tv , dirty under settees, no wifi , had to pester couriers to get some wifi from the site. The aspect is supposed to have free wifi where signal permits in this case perfect signal mifi out of credit , couriers only got 17 hrs to last us the week only one person on wifi at a time . caused a problem when two children want to be on internet at the same time.
Christopher from Christchurch , Dorset (30 May 2015)

We are seasoned eurocampers and have enjoyed several holidays in catalonia, so we were very surprised to find this hidden gem of a park. Roda de bara is a small to medium park that sits inside a gentle valley next to the mediterranean. It is the greenest valley we have ever seen, and is more comparable to a grand floridian garden than anything else we've seen. Quite simply, it is stunning!!!. there must be a full-time building crew, because this park has been planned, maintained and improved in such a way that has impressed even a builder; there are no smelly bins, because they are all put in purpose-built subterranean caves. And the natural spring water potable on site is crystal clear. The park is a stone's throw from a long beach (playa bara) and nestled between two villages within easy walking. The park environs is set within easy reach of major cities, but more impressively, for those who like to explore there are cultural highlights and archeological sites within 2km walking (an 11th century fort, castle, many churches, a roman villa and the impressive arc de triumph dating to 100 bc at the very entrance to the park). the park's entertainment complex is a reproduction amphitheatre of unparalleled beauty, and as the evenings cool down, the stone seats gently warm your tired back!. the facilities and restaurants are of a similar high standard. And for those self-catering, there is an aldi-style value supermarket at the entrance to the park. You will not find a better 5 star park than this!
Richard from Nottingham (27 May 2015)

Park playa bara best eurocamp so far will book again staff at front gate reception very helpful and nice people
Graham from Benayes France (13 May 2015)

Beautifully kept campsite with lots of shade and great facilities and activities. Great prices at the supermarket and restaurant. We were impressed to see how many facilities and activities for the children were running even though it is so early in the season. A beautiful short walk along the beach path took us to a charming little village that was worth a visit with impressive views along the way.
Bridget (11 May 2015)

I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a young family - worth the visit, weather fab, beach near by, on site supermarket and restaurant was well priced, swimming pools great, staff great. .
Hayley from Widnes (09 May 2015)

We have been coming to this parc for years as we love it it is a beautiful parc so clean safe lots to do and with the beech so close its got everything, we were slightly dissapointed in eurocamp this year we booked late and were told only a tent left unless we came 2 days later then we could have the caravan for some reason the wouldnt let us swap whilst we were there ! never had a problem doing this before . whilts we were there we were bitten terrible in the tent ! not the sites fault but was so annoying to see empty caravans and the wouldent let us upgrade we went to see the couriers a number of times and they just didnt get back to us we have always had excellent things to say about eurocamp but this year we were dissaponted with them . however we wont distact from the fact the parc is amazing and will come back next year weather or not it will be with euocamp we are undecided .
Michelle from Leicester (20 September 2014)

Really good holiday on a well kept, beautiful and secure site . only downside were the mosquitos. We went in early september and I must have been like an all you can eat buffet to them . lesson learned, repellent and citronella bought from the excellent camp shop. Restaurant also excellent both for cooking and value. I have been holidaying with keycamp/eurocamp since 1996 and this is the best site I have stayed on . personally I needed a 3 bed but they were all booked out.
Mark from Northampton (11 September 2014)

Will definitely be coming back next year
John (07 September 2014)

We had a lovely time although we felt the accommodation was very cramped. We paid for the upgrade accommodation and was very surprised with what we got. We were happy with the accommodation due to the fact it was cheaper coming into 'out of season, but had we paid the full price would not of been happy. Overall we had a great time, good shower facilities on site as shower in accommodation wasn't very good. The on site ones where powerful and easy with two children. Entertainment was good although like all eurocamps it starts at 10pm which is late for little ones.
Bonita from Lancashire (06 September 2014)

Great park. Lovely pools. Great beach. Very late and noisey entertainment.
Lindsay (04 September 2014)

A fab holiday on a beautiful park. It was the first time we had taken our 4 children abroad and it was an easy, hassle-free holiday. I would have no hesitation in recommending this to friends.
Colette from Derby (02 September 2014)

A nice location
Lisa from London (02 September 2014)

We are returning customers and will hopefully be back again next year! lovely park perfect for our 10 & 8 year old! clean great couriers especially diane
Simon (01 September 2014)

Great pool great breach food great . live tht spanish fruit . the parc was spotless the toilet attendant brilliant life . guards did a great job shows entertaing. And the highlight was ivan roffer one of rhe gifted entertainers. Booking for next year
Frank (01 September 2014)

Overall a really fun family holiday.
Sharon from Cambridge (31 August 2014)

Good but loads of stairs when they had been made aware of me being on crutches.
Colin from Widnes (31 August 2014)

Very clean parc and surrounding accommodation very tired
John (30 August 2014)

Lovely clean park pool disappointing life guards too heavy on the whistle, people all were saying they took no notice as whistle blown all the time. Shops and campsite staff fantastic, we hardly saw euro camp guys but friendly when we did.great resort to see barcelona. From,
Sarah from Cheltenham (30 August 2014)

Had a great holiday overall, lovely area, the food at the restaurant on site was fantastic and very reasonably priced. Disappointed with the standard of the accommodation, very very tired, and curtains hanging off in 2 rooms. Some of the entertainment was really funny.
Customer 75 from Kendal (30 August 2014)

We had a great holiday, laid back environment but with strict lifeguards !
Brendan from Liverpool (30 August 2014)

Fantastic site all friendly and helpful, visited taragona which was fabulous, definitely recommend it.
Wendy from Wimborne (29 August 2014)

Lovely parc and pool complex complimented by la great beach within a short walk. entertainment was varied and a good standard, although would have preferred if it started earlier. new style classic did not have enough storage space and master bedroom was a challenge to even get in and out of they'd because of the lack of space .
Kerry from Wolverhampton (27 August 2014)

Fantastic beach which is great for all ages. swimming pool got very crowded and lacked sunbathing space. parc very clean with friendly and helpful local staff
Katherine (25 August 2014)

Fantastic site with everything you need on site or nearby. Didn't actually need to leave the parc / local area . facilities were good as was the varied entertainment. The only drawback was the kids clubs were very spanish focussed . great holiday and location
Alex from Winsford (23 August 2014)

Great site, well organised, decent night time entertainment.
Vivienne from Mold (23 August 2014)

This is an absolutely fantastic site and we had a great holiday
Alexis from Newcastle (22 August 2014)

Accommodation was tired and in need of refurbishemnt . it was also small in comparision to other places we had used with key camps
Gary (21 August 2014)

We had a wonderful holiday. The parc was stunning and had a great balance of child-friendly and grown up facilities and entertainment. One of the real highlights was the amphitheatre and the team that provided the entertainment, in particular the minidisco, which our children loved. It really made the holiday knowing that the children were so entertained.
Clare from Southsea, Hampshire (21 August 2014)

Parc was superb, really smart and clean and well kept. Great atmosphere and facilities. Accomodation did the job although the single beds are very narrow! a toaster would have been nice too, however thesecare not major issues. Overall we were really impressed with our first eurocamp experience - we don't think you've seen the last of us!
Joanne from Stockport (21 August 2014)

Great park. We had a 4 and a 7 year old and the park is large enough to keep everyone entertained yet safe enough for them to wander around. Well managed, clean and quiet when you needed it to be. Wouldn't normally be fussed about "entertainment" but it actually was very very good! only downside was the size of the double bedroom (teeny tiny, couldn't even make my way round the bed and i'm only small!) and the uncomfortable bed. Not specific to this park and wouldn't stop us doing eurocamp again. Overall a great holiday.
Fiona from Newcastle (20 August 2014)

This was a great family park with good entertainment for the children and adults alike. All members of staff very friendly and a well stocked supermarket. Great location for access to the beach and public transport to nearby barcelona.
Heather from Haddington, East Lothian (18 August 2014)

Excellent park with great facilities. Beach access excellent, pools to small for our liking. Park is very densely populated however
Stephen from Wolverhampton (16 August 2014)

Everything was fantastic, distance to sea and pool. Shop well stocked and not over priced. Pool bar has massive portions. Entertainment is brilliant. We camped in a tent which was very comfortable, the showers were always hot and clean, and we never had to queue! we've already booked to return next year.
Lucille from Derby (16 August 2014)

Overall perfect
Julia from Toronto (16 August 2014)

Very good, we like keycamps/eurocamps and took friends this year who really liked it too. Two minor downs:. - cafetiere was missing. - euro camp folder said little or nothing about camp specific, eg shop opening times
Allan (16 August 2014)

Fantastic site- facilities and activities first class. The animation team and evening entertainment takes it to a new level
Michael from Heswall,Wirral (15 August 2014)

We went for 10 days (2 adults 2 children (both 8yrs). we had a brilliant plot near the pool and the site is well maintained. The beach is great and the onsite facilities great value for money including the supermarket and takeaway. The kids club is safe and friendly and the evening entertainment varied and enjoyable. . I would highly recommend this parc.
Customer 93 (14 August 2014)

Perfect family experience. Clean and well managed park. Great beach. if you like independence and a safe environment for the kids it's perfect.
Teresa from Luton (13 August 2014)

Although the campsite was very nice it was crowded and not much space between the other mobiles.the entertainment was excellent for my 2 teenagers but the late night disco should not be for 15 year olds as there was people getting drunk and my daughters boyfriend was threatened by another camper from germany.
Stephen from Bury St Edmunds (11 August 2014)

We've been doing keycamp/eurocamp for over 20 years. I can only remember once previously being as disappointed with the caravan as I was this time. The caravan was 'tired'. for example, there was a big hole in the lino, mould around the shower sealant, splodges of brown on the shower ceiling and the calcification around the shower and sink taps was really very bad (thick, solid and had been building up for a long time). also, I didn't think the standard of cleaning was a good as it generally is. There was a lot of sand and grit around the edges in each room, there were evidence of previous occupant debris (small bits of paper under the bed, a sticky sweet stuck to the wall). eurocamp is great value for money and we love the simplicity of this type of holiday. However, this year, we did think the caravan needed more care and attention to cleanliness and internal decor standards. As the pitches were very small it would be much better to have the caravans located back of one facing front of another. We were facing the verandah of another family and could hear their conversations very clearly - it was a bit off-putting. Other than the small pitches, and lack of privacy resulting from the positioning of the caravan, the site itself was absolutely beautiful. The facilities were excellent, the camp site restaurant deserved a michelin star!! it was a bit more expensive than may be expected on a camp site, but worth every single cent! definitely one of the best sites we have ever been to.
Linzi from Oxford (11 August 2014)

Absolutely brilliant holiday, perfect location for my family. facilities on the park fantastic, weather amazing.
Louisa from Nuneaton (10 August 2014)

This is an excellent, well kept site with great facilities and activities for children and adults. I cannot fault it. The entertainment is very good. The prices in the bar and restaurants are reasonable. The beach is lovely. The supermarket is very well stocked and reasonably priced. The animation team are very friendly, fun and enthusiastic. The weather was lovely. When not sun bathing by the pool, I took part in football, water polo, tennis, archery, billiards, shooting and paddle ball. My wife did lots of sun bathing by the pool and did some activities. The kids got involved in lots of games and also my wife and children were extras in 2 of the shows.. if you are looking for a great holiday..come here. We never go to the same place twice but we are considering returning next year..
Stephen from Manchester (10 August 2014)

Just got back from a 10day holiday, family of 4. to children 3 & 6. this is a great park, children had a great time and made new friends. plenty to do to do to keep them entertained. It's a safe place and children play in front of the cabins. the beach is within easy walking distance and the pools kept the children entertained. The pool restaurant is good value and they have places to eat along the beach. I'd definitely recommend this park. The accommodation was good and very central. My only negative is the double bedroom on the small side. make sure you take mosquito sprays I got bitten rather badly and ended up at the medics for antibiotics, saying that they were great and very helpful. we had a great family holiday and would definitely go again.
Lisa from Hampshire (07 August 2014)

Fabulous holiday. The site is pretty and well maintained on the whole. Pool side is clean and very well attended by life guards. Beach access is so handy and lovely warm sea! sufficient cheery entertainment, but no kids club. Only drawback was awful insect bites!! take repellant and anti histamines.
Fiona from Newcastle Upon Ty E (07 August 2014)

Great parc, relaxed and family friendly
John from Reading (06 August 2014)

Great time had and would def go back
Ciaran (06 August 2014)

Weather good, parc very clean, well set up for children, plenty of entertainment for adults and kids, supermarket reasonably priced, gift shop where you can buy extras if you have forgotten to pack anything, pool excellent and local beach five minutes to walk to,
Pamela from Fareham (06 August 2014)

Excellent relaxing break. Booking the holiday was so easy and the person I spoke to was very informative and helped us to decide the package that would suit us. The parc itself was excellent. The staff on the site were really helpful, the facilities were very good and well maintained and clean. We had air conditioning in the mobile home, which was brilliant! cannot recommend highly enough.
Jo from Lincoln (05 August 2014)

Parc playa bara is a wonderful site for all families, the site is clean and the staff are very friendly and are always willing tohelp. The security and life guards are friendly and you know they are there to keep everybody safe. The animationteam area fabulous and work so hard the shows ans entertainment is brilliant. My 9 year old loved the kids club. We will definite be going back.
Katy from Kent (03 August 2014)

My first visit to this parc, but we have been visiting eurocamp sites all over europe for the last 15 years.
Linda from Huddersfield (02 August 2014)

In general a good holiday, with the main purpose to be able to relax.
Cheryl (29 September 2013)

The parc was excellent only loses one star due to it being so big, we think when its high season it would be too lively. during low season its perfect. the actual eurocamp experience itself was quite disappointing.
Customer 108 from York (27 September 2013)

Really nice park, kept extremely clean, staff very friendly, facilities fab and lots to keep little ones entertained. The beach is beautiful. We had a fantastic holiday and would definitely return.
Niamh from Edinburgh (25 September 2013)

We had a lovely holiday and overall everything was very good. the park was a lot quieter than we thought it would be but it was great they still had the children's disco on each evening. fab access to the beach and the tent catered for everything we needed.
Karen (22 September 2013)

Lovely parc especially pool complex and layout. We were there in september so it wasn't crowded at all. easy to get to barcelona by train and also tarragona.
Gaye from Brighton (21 September 2013)

Arrived mid september it was fantastic to see all facilities were open. the parc itself deserves the 5* rating.
Yvonne from Salisbury (21 September 2013)

Would have ten for overall if cycling in area had been better ie car free routes.
Alan from Lichfield (21 September 2013)

A lovely campsite. close to the beach and excellent entertainment in the evening.
Lynne from Lichfield (20 September 2013)

Very nice camp. All you need is there. Good security
Linda from Harlow, Essex (18 September 2013)

-`s :some dogs a problem -sadly. n.b. Like dogs! pretty sure our home had a dog flea.(no reflection on the couriers -good team but dog fleas very difficult to spot, etc., -blankets?))also mosquitos numerous.midi horizon far too cramped even for two .parts of site relatively hard going for older clients/diasbled etc if given pitch on the higher terraces.arc access sometimes horrific!bicycle hire rather confused and bikes not that good.(but was september). +`s lovely site ,lovely variety flora ;fauna. Great staff ,children well occupied ,inviting beach to swim walk etc good atmosphere and enjoyed roc gaieta.too very good take away, quality food restaurant ! going to book for 2014 -but need row b2 please (disability). delightful pool.and sun terrace.very good eurocamp holiday site.
Angela from Terwick (17 September 2013)

Had a great time everything near by facilities good
Brian from Ballywalter (16 September 2013)

Geoff from High Wycombe (15 September 2013)

Stunning park with well thought out facilities for children and adults. Lots to do, you can spend a fun-packed day on site without needing to leave. Very close to a fab beach and costal walk and lots of places closeby that are worth the visit. We like to explore new places but we will probably return here because we couldn't do everything in a week and because our son absolutely loved the pool and the entertainment team.
Claire (12 September 2013)

Brilliant holiday, parc is almost perfect., very large with great facilities and so good for kids. Went with 10 month old who loved it.
Rebecca from Essex (07 September 2013)

Great park,so much to do,the kids loved the facilities.entertainment excellant.the beach only a few steps from the park, clean and good bars and places to eat.eurocamp staff couldn't do enoughh for you.
Dipak from Portsmouth (06 September 2013)

Fabulous holiday. thought the park was amazing and facilities and entertainment were brilliant. we definitely would like to return. public trans port to park from airport was cheap and easy. bus travel to local atractions, for example, aqualeon and tarragona easy. eurocamp couriers were not easy to locate but the ones we dealt with were polite and helpful.
Tracey from Salcombe (06 September 2013)

Had great hol weather not good for few days but didnt want to come home lovely site gorgeous beach good good - fab hol
Charlitte from Vale Of Glamorgan (03 September 2013)

This is the third year we've been to this site. It's one of the best sites we've been to.
Mark from Runcorn (03 September 2013)

Was very impressed with playa bara park. Well maintained, excellent facilities, friendly staff, very safe environment for the kids. Probably wouldn't book through euro camp again as didn't really receive any benefits from using them. The reps were friendly enough but were never at their site when it said they would be there , when we did come across one, by accident, and asked about water parks and theme parcs that were advertised they couldn't really tell us anything about the area. Also on day one I tracked one down inform about not being able to open a patio door and mentioned again a few days later with out getting it fixed before we left! the animation team (entertainment) were so hard working and very professional. Don't usually go in for camp evening entertainment but we all found the shows quite entertaining. Apart form getting pick pocketed in barcelona and a few wet days, we had a lovely family holiday.
Confirmed Holidaymaker from Brighton (02 September 2013)

We had a good holiday, but this was more due to the good weather, the very nice park and the nearby beach.
George from Elrick, Aberdeenshire (02 September 2013)

We loved and plan to go back next year
Simon (02 September 2013)

We all enjoyed the holiday very much. the camp itself is absolutely gorgeous. there was so much to do! we had some rain and on those days we felt a bit stuck but for the rest of the time we had plenty to do. the camp provided entertainment every night and it was of a very high standard. the camp reps were talented and worked hard and on many nights the 'bought in' entertainment was brilliant.
Valerie from Leeds (01 September 2013)

We loved the camp site - fantastic grounds and pool. Supermarket v good and easy access to beach. Everyone v friendly.
Rachel from Coughlan (31 August 2013)

A lovely park. You should make more of the fact that each tent emplacement has its own sink. The site was clean and tidy with good amenities and friendly, helpful staff.
Ian from Leeds (31 August 2013)

We had a great holiday at playa park bara. Beautiful well maintained park. Peaceful even in the height of summer. Facilities were great. All staff were friendly and polite . entertainment was good and entertaining for all the family. Small walk lead to a great beach which was shallow and great for young families.
Gill from Gosport (31 August 2013)

Fantastic parc entertainment first class never been in a camp site so clean and staff polite and constantly working improving the site money being put back into the camp site the best we have been to. Keep it up..
Craig from Ramsgate (30 August 2013)

Brilliant parc very well looked after. Pool is brilliant but needed to get there early for sun lounger!
Wendy from Surrey (28 August 2013)

Parc good ; info in caravan far to generic need more specific re opening times of amenities, availability of trips etc.
Fiona from Cardiff (25 August 2013)

We enjoyed playa de bara very much and would consider returning to the parc - although not in this kind of accommodation. we very much value having a quiet time and not being overlooked directly whilst we are on holiday so thankfully we were in a corner caravan and out balcony wasn't directly looking onto next doors. however, compared to other sites we have visited in france, the caravans were still extremely close to one another so it felt a little invasive.
Customer 135 from Manchester (25 August 2013)

Would have given a 10 for everything if it wasn't for the issue with the sun loungers - see below.
David from Welling (24 August 2013)

The camp is the best ive been too, entertainment was very good, very clean site, beach first class, iwould highly recommend this site as a safe, family site with lots to do, the only draw back is the road is very noisey at night and the spainish people are misable, but I can live with that, but overall very enjoyable holiday thankyou eurocamp
Stephen from Thatcham Berkshire (22 August 2013)

An excellent holiday for the cost, the accommodation was the only thing that let the park down. Pool was clean although always busy.
Michael from Yeovil (21 August 2013)

. the parc was clean, well maintained, beautifully landscaped. It was busy ( summer holidays) but manageable. The caravans are very close together (open your curtains and wave at your neighbour). the parc was very family friendly and it did feel secure. Pool area was fairly clean and a good size. Stayed for a week and did not get to sit on a sun lounger once, had to sit on the grassed area (floor). our biggest dissappointment was the accommodation. The caravan was incredibly small, the fittings and fixtures were quite 'tired' and not spotlessly clean. We had forgotten to book linen on line and so were expected to pay over 45 euros for a double and two single sheets& pillow slips which after paying 1150.00 euros for a week's self catering holiday seemed some what unfair. Would we return ? if the accommodation was better, yes.
Kerry from Liverpool (21 August 2013)

As a family we came back full of great memories after a wonderful and relaxing holiday.
Ian from London (21 August 2013)

Great park with great eurocamp couriers. Lots to do and the booklet we received before we went was very informative. We went to two eurocamp parks, the first being el delfin verde which was very good with good facilities although we were unhappy with the disgusting smell of sewage throughout our week there which was reported to couriers who told us their managers were reporting to the camp managers. This meant sitting outside of our tent was unbearable and made eating outside especially difficult with three children. In addition we found the couriers weren't as friendly initially as with previous campsite couriers. This was mentioned to the team leader and after that they did say hello on passing etc.
Bruce from Hampshire (20 August 2013)

Beautiful park; great facilities
Mrs Flintham from Cheltenham (20 August 2013)

We felt relaxed from the moment we entered park playa bara. It was very easy to find from reus airport, and was beautifully located. We loved the position of our caravan, with the welcome shading of the pine tress and its close proximity to the pool. The campsite shop was excellent, and we didn't need to shop elsewhere. We all enjoyed the beach with its facilities, warm sea and very good bars. The only negative comment we would make is about the practice of "reserving" lilo beds around the pool with towels, as soon as the pool opens - it was quite shock as we've not experienced this on any other site we have been to
Sarah from Manchester (17 August 2013)

The caravan was filthy, the couriers where very unhelpful, except kieron. Nobody was ther on arriaval they all turned up late, the accomadation was so small it was not possible to move around the bed in the double the room. My daiughters bed broke on the first night you had no beds to replace it with she had to sleep on the floor for two nights, eventually after phoning head office from spain we got moved, a down grade, with no refund to our money. Christi the head courier could not of been anymore unhelpful. When I went to find out if our new accomadation would be ready the courier was asleep in the double the bedroom. Nobody came to see if we where happy with our down grade for a whole week, when eventually kieron did turm up we told him of our complaints such as the ant infestation, mould and the filth, still no christi..if I saw her anywhere on the park she put her haed down and walkied in the opposite direction. The only thing that let this holiday down was eurocamp..the site is beautiful, fabulous location to explore catolonia, the pool is fantastic, aquacise every other day, the beach is stunning, the site has everything any holiday maker would need just dont go with eurocamp..having eurocamped many times before I feel really let dwn..still nobody has contacted me with my many complaints...
Michaela from Borehamwood (17 August 2013)

We had a great holiday at this parc, I would recommend it to everyone with children of all ages.
Nicholas from Taplow (15 August 2013)

First time at eurocamp and although the accomodation was a bit cramped for our needs, the overall holiday was excellent. Great facilities and location.
Gordon from Larbert (15 August 2013)

Great parc, excellent facilities and very well managed.
Jacinta from Bristol (15 August 2013)

Excellent site, however few down sides. Stayed in eurotent. Great position but a few things that have to be sorted out before I come back in a tent again, not very clean blue bed sheets were left on and looked dirty as though the previous tenants had just jumped out of them. I took my own linen and I assumed I would arrive to a nice clean mattress protector ( should be anti allergy) considereing the amount of people using these . it looked like the mattress had not been hoovered in between clients and there were no clean mattress protector or pillow protectors which I feel are necessity. Looked under the bed and was shocked to say it was filthy, had most definatley not been hoovered or mopped. Needless to say I returned from this holiday with a chest infection and nasal irritation. It was dirty. The youngsters that are employed are clearly not doing what they are meant to do and even though it is a tent I would expect clean beds and areas to sleep in. I shall also say that the campsite was excellent however there is another major issue. There are no antibacterial soap dispensers in the toilet area!! this was hard to believe considering the amount of people in the camp. I am a nurse and does nobody consider cross infection!!! I was disgusted how a beautiful site could fail in this area. This needs to be addressed.
Customer 148 (13 August 2013)

Park was friendly and the children enjoyed the freedom.
Fiona (13 August 2013)

Most fabulous time everytime my family adore this parc well done !!
