This is a beautiful park, incredibly well run and we cannot find fault with it
David from Caterham (21 September 2015)

Short but fantastic
Elisabeth from Italy/Correggio (13 September 2015)

Dan was amazing :)joan
Joan from Glasgow (12 September 2015)

The site was very large and there's a lot of walking involved but it is extremely well run and has excellent facilities. The pools are lovely and there are a lot of places to eat. My kids didn't use the entertainment but there's plenty for them to do. I would definitely recommend it.
Heather from Leighton Buzzard (07 September 2015)

This parc is the best one we have stayed in by a mile. It is clean and beautifully presented.as a family with children of mixed ages (14yrs,10yrs and 8yrs) we found that it suited all three very well. . they were all catered for ,especially in the evening when the 14 year old loved the disco and the younger two loved the park and surrounding entertainment such as bucking bronco, mini golf etc. The pool complex was lovely and although it was busy we always managed to find sun loungers.san vincenzo is the nearest town, only a ten minute drive away and is very pretty with a lovely beach. There is lots to do in and around the area but a car is needed as they are all a drive away. Overall I would highly recommend this site and area.
Jane from Derbyshire (06 September 2015)

Park was very large and had something for everybody.location was good not to far out of town and beach just across road. Car needed tho.the accommodation was dated and the toilet smelt and dirty.we eat in the main restaurant 2 nights which was very popular and the food was good even wen we went at 10pm wen it nearly closed. The ice cream parlour is brill and the park has two restaurant,2 ice cream parlours and entertainment areas. The entertainment was also good. The park is kept very clean. I have never been to a bigger site than nice having two main areas. The supermarket was well stocked and not too expensive it had fresh bread and cakes. The restaurant was a little expensive but good food. The size of the steaks would satisfy fred flintstone.
Natalie (06 September 2015)

A brilliant camp - great for children and teenagers. Really well organised. The pools were amazing and great facilities.
Rachel (30 August 2015)

Beautiful part of the world but not a great place to stay. Too far from nearest town or restaurants on foot and really not that close to the beach. Restaurants on site awful. Take away was ok. Supermarket reasonable but found cheaper ones in piombino and venturina. Not enough sun beds around pool area, pool always busy with no room to really enjoy swimming or playing with family. Parc facilities where good for families with younger kids. Bar area nice and staff there very good. Info point disappointing, need to improve communication along with how some of the outings require your own transport and provide better directions! . washing machine area was always chockablock and while we where there 4 machines out of order. Found a local serviced laundrette in venturina who where lovely, iron clothes also. No ironing boards available on site! evening live music was quite good.this was around the bar area. Static homes where very basic and small. Ours wasn't particularly clean but I am a bit fussy with cleanliness. Not our cup of tea really!. when you factor in cost of linen, food, laundry and data roaming costs ( yes no wifi in mobiles and it was poor around bar and pool area where it was available) better off going to a hotel or apartment.
Roy (29 August 2015)

This is a huge park and very busy in school holidays.
Customer 9 from Preston (28 August 2015)

Overall a nice holiday
Lisa from Beaconsfield (25 August 2015)

Great site with plenty of facilities (reasonably priced bike hire, well stocked on-site supermarket, on-site medical facility with doctor and pharmacy so we didn't find it difficult not having a car), choice of restaurants with lots of veggie options, well equipped play areas and high ropes course which entertained all our children (aged 7-12), great pools with pro-active lifeguards keeping slides safe. Site clean and well landscaped. Decent weather too! the inevitable "towels on sun beds at dawn" issue but no surprises there. Live music in the bar area each evening was great and being right next to the play area meant children could play while we relaxed. beach in walking distance - very seaweedy and sand was more like micro-stones than the golden sand we'd expected but kids had fun in the crashing waves. Would thoroughly recommend this site!
Kate from Surrey (22 August 2015)

Excellent park in beautiful area in tuscancy.
David (22 August 2015)

A very well run campsite among parasol pine trees, with well-designed facilities and lots going on. Lights wound around the tree trunks light up at night! . . restaurant as good as any off-site, best book and go early.nightly live music mainly 'cover' artists (can be heard till 11pm from the closer pitches), wi-fi starts free each day, but then invites you to pay - works close to centre only. . . medium-sized supermarket on-site (closes for siesta-time). baratti beach 10 mins drive - beautiful sandy bay, gently shelving, go early and park easily. . our second time here - still a great family site.
Howard from Cheltenham (21 August 2015)

Very busy park with so much to do, fantastic experience and great entertainment put on. any concern is poor life guarding at the pool, either they are not there or they just randomly blow their whistles without giving clear rules to the children on the slides for example.
Jason from Berkhamsted (19 August 2015)

Everything was very good.
Rachel from Twyford (19 August 2015)

We had an amazing holiday at oarc albatross! very different to what we expected as the site is enormous but it didn't feel over crowded and too busy. The couriers were excellent! so hard working, friendly, helpful and a real credit to eurocamp! I hope we get the same bunch next year. The caravan was a little dated and in comparison to other companies very basic in terms of comfort and faculties for more money. Eurocamp need to up their game there. The parc has a lot to offer in terms of being totally sufficient to keep you entertained morning, noon and night. If you didn't have a car you would not be missing much. It is well located for day trips to pisa, livorno, sienna and we actually ventured to florence but there are some beautiful little villages in the hills which are just lovely just a few minutes away. We are very tempted to return next year.
Elizabeth from Leeds (19 August 2015)

Very large and busy parc, but lovely in pine trees, good supermarket and never any problems with noise. 50m pool is for swimming lengths between 9 and 10am, which we liked.
Customer 17 (15 August 2015)

The campsite is excellent, clean and the staff friendly
Ruth from Preston (15 August 2015)

Very busy site if you like the crowds it good for you. Excellent facilities on site beach ok but a 20 /30 minute walk away from the site
Chris from York (15 August 2015)

We travelled from pisa airport to albatros. The park was easy to find and on arrival everything was handled efficiently and we were shown to our mobile home quickly. The courier was really friendly and knowledgeable. . we have 5 children aged from 5-18 and they were all catered for; we hired bikes for them all for the week which they loved as it gave them all independence, the 5 pools were great (3 of them only being knee deep so we could let the wee ones play on their own), the big girls loved the teen disco, the wee ones loved the park, we all loved the ice cream and pizza!. regarding the accommodation, we were really grateful for the air con as it was very hot while we were there. It worked efficiently and even though it's just in the main living/dining and kitchen area it still reached the bedrooms albeit to a lesser extent. We were therefore also grateful for the fan which we used to cool down the kids bedrooms one by one at bedtime. . the one thing I would say is take or buy a good insect repellent as two of us got numerous bites which spoilt things for us a bit. Overall we all thought park albatross and the eurocamp service was brilliant and would highly recommend it for a great family holiday. We only went for a week but we all wanted to stay longer.
Susan from Huddersfield (12 August 2015)

Could do with a better vegetarian and healthy menu in all restaurants. The veg burger was inedible. . however, pools, play area, staff and accommodation all great
Gary from Kettering (10 August 2015)

Great park with great facilities
Harry (09 August 2015)

Great park, great holiday, great staff. Would go again.
John from York, Uk (08 August 2015)

This is a large park but has a lovely pool complex, good for all ages. Lots of shallow pools but with mini slides too that the children enjoyed. You can also take own inflatables into the pool. We had a car so we're able to visit pisa, volterra, and florence from here. Shop had everything we needed on campsite so didn't go in search of another supermarket off site. restaurant was fine also. Park had good little play area, with a tree walk, similar to small go ape. Children enjoyed doing that at the end of our holiday. we all loved our italian holiday.
Mary from Chester (08 August 2015)

Although it's a big busy park the facilities are great. we never really had to queue (much ). the pool complex is amazing ... the restaurant was lovely too.
Simon (07 August 2015)

Great permanent sun shades - shame they block both emergency exit routes !.
Peter from Walsall (31 July 2015)

Great park, great holiday. The only slight downside was that the entertainment goes on a bit late (several nights the music only stopped at midnight - not great for young children.
Tom (30 July 2015)

Excellent holiday, although a long drive as my wife is disabled but it is more convenient to travel by car than plane. most of our holiday plans went well, although plymouth to dover wasn't a particularly good journey and the p&o ferry's ran late on both occasions. definitely the tunnel next trip.
Kelvin from Yelverton (30 July 2015)

Very well run parc. Pool complex clean, lots of fun for the kids, great pool bar/ice cream shop. Supermarket a little bit expensive but well stocked. Gas barbecues a big plus. Piazza italia a lovely central hub. Beautiful setting in the forest. Great holiday.
Judith (30 July 2015)

V busy when we stayed but overall a lovely place to spend a few days - good mobile home, pleasant setting from which to cycle to the bay of baratti, great ice-cream parlour, & excellent pools (if crowded).
Sue (24 July 2015)

We had the best time ever. Loved the animations campsite was spotless.
Campbell from Edinburgh (20 July 2015)

Fantastic site, clean and attractive, great restaurants and bars. Lovely atmosphere we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it too others
Helen from Darlington (19 July 2015)

We had a super holiday here this year. The park is large and busy but the facilities are excellent and seemed able to cope with the numbers. The large piazza area is great for a drink or a snack and there is live music every night. This stops before midnight so there is not much noise later on. The surrounding area has some nice beaches, we liked baratti bay where you can hire pedalos and sun loungers, there is also good snorkelling. There are plenty of places for day trips nearby including volterra and san gimingnano, we loved the leaning tower of pisa! weather was in the 30's every day so we had to pace ourselves a bit. Only downside was the presence of multiple biting insects at nights, repellant is a must!
Jill from Scotland (18 July 2015)

Great holiday, lovely area with loads to do and see.
Audrey from Dromore. N Ireland (16 July 2015)

A very well run, but enormous parc with excellent facilities close to fabulous scenery & culture
Customer 35 from N Ireland (16 July 2015)

Great facilities and friendly staff
Sally from Naples Italy (16 July 2015)

The parc was excellent. The accomidation was particularly jaded.
Paul from Johnsyone (11 July 2015)

Excellent park, the best we have been to.
Maureen from Glasgow (08 July 2015)

Fantastic site and one of the best we have been to
Jason from Glasgow (08 July 2015)

The camp is one of best we have stayed on over the years, with fantastic pools, bars and great live entertainment each evening. . the only downside for us where the mosquito bites that we all got whilst sitting on our deck in the evenings.
Lynne from Liverpool (07 July 2015)

The mobile home was very old and there were ants all over the place when we arrived. The eurocamp girls were very helpful and gave us a spay against them but still it didn't make a good impression.
Ivelina (05 July 2015)

. hot,sunny,leisurely excellent restaurant,good for getting out& about.pools very popular.
Dorothy from Co Durham (05 July 2015)

We have been to a number of italian eurocamps and this was the best by far. I thoroughly recommend especially for anyone with children under 10. Food, entertainment and facilities were outstanding and the pool areas were very safe and slip proof. Booked again for 3 weeks next year!
Anna (04 July 2015)

Very good parc, clean and friendly.
John from Rotherham (04 July 2015)

Great park with lots of facilities good entertainment in the evenings only downside was threat of being stuck by falling pine cones!!!!
Gary from Worksop (29 June 2015)

The holiday park was just a superb
Gareth from Stevenage (27 June 2015)

Excellent holiday, great park.
Ella from Oxford (25 June 2015)

Everything was great.
Adrian from Oxford (22 June 2015)

Great holiday. 2nd time we have been here and I would definitely recommend this for families.
Alison (21 June 2015)

Our third year at this parc with eurocamp, and another enjoyable holiday.
David from Sidcup (19 June 2015)

A brilliant holiday with a focus on fresh air and relaxation! this parc is in such a beautiful location, the pine forest means you are in a natural setting but yet have all the family friendly facilities to ensure a very relaxing holiday. This was my first eurocamp experience and I would certainly recommend it! the swimming pools are wonderful, very child friendly and safe. Also the large 50 m pool meant space for keep fit enthusiasts and the aqua aerobic sessions were so well organised. All staff were helpful. Good weather and the parc not being full also helped make this a fantastic holiday .
Kay from County Durham (14 June 2015)

This parc is amazing for swim kids.
Mark from Barnsley (13 June 2015)

Large camp ,couriers indifferent,eg if you want info call site site office. They did not know about any thing beach awfull long way and bounded by nudist beach within 100 mts
Peter (02 June 2015)

This park was amazing for families - the facilities, staff and environment were better than we could ever have expected. We would definitely recommend this park to our friends and family.
Emma from Stoke-On-Trent (02 June 2015)

Site was large but very clean pool area was excellent!
Jason from Stoke On Trent (31 May 2015)

Park albatros is a beautiful campsite with the most amazing pools, which our children loved.
Catherine from London (30 May 2015)

Lovely lovely park, beautifully maintained, excellent pool area. Lovely beaches nearby as well as an excellent restaurant within cycling distance of the site. our holiday was only let down by the ridiculously tiny proportions of the new 2 bed vista van.
David from Caterham, Surrey (21 September 2014)

Beautiful weather, beautiful area and great facilities.
Nicola from Bewdley (04 September 2014)

First time to italy, loved it. Mostly stayed on park but did venture out to pisa and rome using the train in san vincenzo. Not the best beach near parc if you want that, san vincenzo has better beaches. Would definitely go back though.
Shaun from Nottingham (02 September 2014)

Park albatros was a large park with excellent facilities. It was very busy but our accommodation was at the edge of the park so that was peaceful if a little far from activities in the evening. A train ran during the day ideal for getting to the lovely pools and doing your shopping but this stopped at 8:00 in the evening. Plenty of shade under the veranda or attractive umbrella pines throughout the park. Lovely sunsets most evenings. Close to beaches which were not spoilt by over development, free parking readily available. We enjoyed travelling around tuscany and loved visiting many of the hill top towns and other sites such as pisa and sienna. So much to do, we could go again and find lots of things to do we didn't manage this time. Only negative was the mosquitos on the park - go prepared!
Jill from Worthing (30 August 2014)

Lovely parc, very busy when we went in mid aug. Bike hire great but bit disorganised. weather warm but not boiling. not many english families. only disappointment was wi-fi didn't work properly.
Marc from Berkhamsted (29 August 2014)

Generally all good, eurocamp staff very good, parc staff excellent. Avoid the takeaway, not fast service and couldn't organise a pu in a brewery.
Customer 62 from Warrington (28 August 2014)

A lovely, albeit enormous, site! good facilities, good food, reasonable prices. pools lovely but busy. a good base to get to many other places. we had a wonderful holiday.
Sarah from Epsom, Surrey (24 August 2014)

A super site with plenty to do throughout the day and in the evening.there are some lovely beaches nearby but you do need to travel a little to find nice sandy beaches for the children to play on. The staff on the site are generally quite helpful and polite but as ever there are the odd exceptions to this rule! the principle drawback is the sheer site of the site and the number of people it contains. At times it is manic in the village and market square. Despite signs to the contrary the age old practice of putting towels on sun beds around the pool is common place and there are many examples of this happening with the beds then not taken up until later in the morning, very frustrating. Some great day trips, we went to elba and florence, which help to vary the holiday and make sure you do not miss out on the culture.
Roy from Worcester (23 August 2014)

Good holiday, all as described in the brochure. Ac was not very effective in the van, and you had to be up early to make sure you got sun beds but to be fair camp staff were removing towels where people had clearly just 'reserved' their spot. Site felt safe and friendly but more signs with speed restrictions may help some drivers to calm down. Well stocked camp store and good entertainment. Vans very close together not sure what would happen in the event of a fire !
Dianne from Leeds (23 August 2014)

Great parc in a great area. All staff were welcoming and helpful. Accommodation was becoming a little tired. Double bed was very creaky and bathroom was clean but grubby. The other major issue was the biting insects however this didnt spoil the overall enjoyment of our holiday and we would recommend and return.
Tony from Nantwich (23 August 2014)

Great holidays for the family. A lovely place with everything on site.
Phillipe from Alfortville - France (18 August 2014)

The park is very large & lots going on but this could make some of the facilities very crowded at times. The eurocamp reps were not as friendly as other holidays we have taken before, I don't one talked to us for the whole 2 weeks unless we talked to then first
David from Birmingham (16 August 2014)

Overall really impressed,
Ruth from Manchester (16 August 2014)

2nd visit to this camp during august - but this trip the camp appeared full to overflowing. I don't think another unit or tent could be placed. queued for everything. supermarket, bar & reception could often not accept euro debit card as their computer could not cope. we were continually told "not lines available". this meant having to carry sufficient cash around.
Valerie from London (12 August 2014)

Park is superb. Rep was really good. Caravan dirty and mosquitos were a nightmare.
Paul (11 August 2014)

We had a brilliant time at this camp. The kids have a brilliant time, there was plenty to do and keep them interested (draughts, chess, crazy golf, etc). the pools we used they loved. . . the food & service at the restaurant was to a high standard and good value for money. We ate off the site a couple of times and the standard was below that of the camp. Overall an excellent holiday.
Alistair from Egham (30 July 2014)

Great campsite with excellent facilities, very well laid out with a great atmosphere.
Ash from London (29 July 2014)

Great holiday, perfect for a family. The euro camp staff were excellent and very attentive. An issue had to be resolved with our caravan upon arrival and they more than rectified the mistake with their excellent customer service.
Teresa from Chelmsford (29 July 2014)

We had an incredible holiday and would highly recommend this parc. Fabulous swimming pools which were great for little ones. Loved the evening mini disco for children too. The site was very clean. I also liked the little train that went around the parc. Perfect for families with children of any age.
Annalisa from Leamington Spa (29 July 2014)

Very nice park, easy going and very good facilities. Would highly recommend.
Gordon from Lisburn (26 July 2014)

Excellent campsite, well maintained. Delicious and reasonably priced ice creams on site. Wifi not so good and worked temperamentally. Get to the site market shop early for your bread. Big queues but the ticket system stops chaos and pushing in.
Scott from Hinckley (25 July 2014)

Great holiday overall. Park animation team superb - especially ruggerio! lovely personality and great energy.
Pauline from Belfast (19 July 2014)

Disappointed in football facilities. Scenic location.
Seamus from Belfast (15 July 2014)

Brilliant park, possibly the best i've stayed in. Great food, reasonably priced, great pools great facilities.
Robert from Edinburgh (13 July 2014)

Great site with lots of facilities. the pools are great, the shop is very good (except it ran out of croissants early). the childrens facilities are really first class a park, mini golf, table tennis, high ropes course and bike hire. the sea is an easy bike ride away or 15minute walk away. it is 20minutes to the town by car which is ok, it is not the nicest of italien towns but ok for a night or two out. they have good low cost wifi but it is only available up at the bar area.
Catriona from Newry (12 July 2014)

Park albatros has been the best campsite that we have visited. The pools are probably the safest I have ever seen. A great park with so much for kids to do!.
Joni from Omagh (12 July 2014)

Good park with all your needs covered if staying on site. Area is nice and beach was just a walk away.
William from Cookstown (04 July 2014)

We didn't find the italians as friendly as we had thought we would. The entertainment was lacking
Eve (30 June 2014)

We did not have a need for the couriers so is difficult to rate, we only saw on arrival and departure which suited us. We had a late arrival, at 10pm and we're pleased that someone was waiting for us and we did not have to hunt around for someone. The text service to give an estimated time of arrival is a good service
Paul from Bexleyheath (29 June 2014)

Had a great week there great facilities lots to do. Used the train service to get to florence and pisa - a good way to get about without using the car
Peter from Beverley (28 June 2014)

Excellent , we definitely come back again. Everything is perfect.
Albina from Uk (27 June 2014)

My holiday has been perfect except for the weather. . . . . . . . . .
Elisabeth from Correggio (21 June 2014)

Fantastic park, wonderful holiday. Second time we have been here. It is truly a fantastic site with everything you need, and extremely well-suited for a young family, but also for older kids too!
Nathan from Bristol (21 June 2014)

Great place, our second time there.
David from Sidcup (20 June 2014)

Great park, very large! excellent for young kids with plenty to keep them entertained.
Richard (20 June 2014)

Really great parc, good facilities for kids and enjoyable for adults. We have three children, aged 8 yrs, 6 yrs and 23 months and there was plenty to entertain them. Our eldest daughter loved the tree trekking and the play areas had enough scope to serve all 3 children. They had fun on go-karts and the pools were lovely for all of them to explore safely. The only minor point was the double mattress in the accommodation - not terrible but could have been more comfortable. Everything was clean and neat in our mobile home and on the site.we had a truly fab holiday and would definitely return.
Julia from Manchester (08 June 2014)

Third time we've been to parc albatross, really good as ever, not too busy, good, very clean facilities, kids love it. . I was dissapointed with eurocamp - the caravan we were in was smaller than the one advertised (31msq rather than the min 34 msq on the internet. The couriers on site said it was smaller than most of the class of caravans that we were expecting to be in, and as they were busy couldn't move us to another van until halfway through. Spoke with eurocamp in the uk who pointed out their printed brochure said 31-34msq, and all descriptions were subject to variation. . would definitley go to parc albatross again, but not with eurocamp.
Paul from Leeds (07 June 2014)

Poor start to the holiday, rep was not very helpful, we arrived on thursday 22nd may , nowhere to eat in the afternoon, most stuff was shut, staff no clue, again the rep didn't help much, as the week went on, things picked up, overall good holiday
Toni from Sheffield (03 June 2014)

Excellent for families with children of all ages.
Deborah from West Yorkshire (03 June 2014)

A great place to go with 3 boys. Although may have been a bit busy if you went in high season.
Nicci from Suffolk (01 June 2014)

Excellent holiday, and on the cards to return next year!
Adam from Finch (01 June 2014)

Good campsite but very large and busy.good facilities
Craig from Chester (30 May 2014)

Was ok, kids had fun, entertainment was very good.
Lee from Naples, Italy (27 April 2014)

Parc albatross is in a great location for exploring tuscany. There are lots of activities available and advice for excursions and information from both the couriers and camp site staff. the local beaches are lovely, san vincenzo is a good sized town for shopping, eating out and train station. My only disappointment was that the restaurant and bar was not available before the park closed for the season and stock was limited in the site shop for the same reason.
Rachael (23 September 2013)

The texts we received asking for eta is a very good idea. The welcome by your site reps being taken to your accommodation the welcome pack plus the bottles of wine was excellent. The enthusiasm and helpfulness of the rep was outstanding.
Robin from Northampton (17 September 2013)

Overall a very good holiday but there are some things that could easily be addressed to make it even better ! see below
David from Caterham (16 September 2013)

Wouldn't recommend going last two weeks of the season as on the second week everything closes down and the supermarket is empty although 25% off if you spend over 20 euros. I didn't receive our new toiletries pack and couldn't find couriers to raise this issue.
Elaine from Oxford (15 September 2013)

Lovely site - although very big and I can imagine if you are sited at the back of the camp it would be a huge trek with buggies etc. Very dusty which made us feel like we were dirty the whole holiday. The site was being packed up for winter whilst we were there which made us feel pretty unwelcome and as a result the supermarket had limited stock. We had a car but without a car this would be very limiting for families needing supplies from the shop. The van was a bit dirty and could do with a good spring clean when people leave as we found other peoples belongings and when putting bags under beds for storage it was very dusty. Fantastic facilities for children and by far the safest and cleanest pools I have ever had the pleasure of using on holiday. Fell in love with italy and will definitely go back one day :)
Lindsay (13 September 2013)

This part of italy is the best, surrounded in lovely places to visit, elba the island and the hidden villages in the mountains were just great. I want so much to go back!
Andy from Redhill, Surrey (04 September 2013)

The park was fantastic with superb pools with lagoons and slides for the younger ones. It's in a superb location for visiting tuscany too.
Andrea from Sedgefield (28 August 2013)

Really nice park, but very over crowded.
David from Bury St Edmunds (24 August 2013)

A lovely site with plenty to do and the lagoon pools were fantastic, nice and shallow with a cushioned base and surround, perfect, especially for young children and babies. The larger pools weren't too deep either. Close to the beach, plenty to do on site and the supermarket on site covers every need so there's no need to leave if you don't want to. the site also runs organised trips to florence, rome and siena with an additional free bus into the local town of an evening. Really well organised, shame there wasn't a keycamp children's club.
Ruth from Moreton, Ongar (21 August 2013)

Disappointed when we arrived parc it was much further than described in brochure from san vincenzo and the parc is in need of a revamp. the little welcome bar on arrival by the first pool, looked as if a hurricane had hit it and the thatch was missing in parts..we ventured further into the parc and the decking and most of the wooden seating areas were in need of some wood stain and a general overhaul, everything appeared tired and not so appealing as it looks on the website or brochure..we have visited bella italia, lake garda with keycamp, for the last 2 years and we felt like a change this year and was disappointed with our choice..also the free bus only runs from 8pm so is not ideal for children to be going out so late.again disappointing.
Elizabeth from Birmingham (21 August 2013)

Depsite the driving distance, a really good holiday due to the location, size of park and the weather. with so much to see in the area, it is easy to balance days at the pool with sight-seeing.
Ann from Spalding (20 August 2013)

It was a great location, the parc was good but very big. the children's entertainment wasn't great, the children found the mini disco not very entertaining, more for toddlers (my children are 6 and 4). . . the parc was so big but the pools seemed packed, and with lots of older kids the slides at times were not manned properly by the staff on duty. i.e. Kids bumping into each other. . the accommodation is fine, if a little dated. I thought the mattresses particularly in the bunk room looked very old and worn. the accommodation was clean, but the decking area was much smaller than in other places we have stayed. .
Claire from Hove (18 August 2013)

A beautifully kept park, lovely pool area and good eating and entertaining areas to suit all. Our keycamp 'prestige' mobile home was great, very large decking and good accommodation. Only downside to accommodation was the cleanliness, a little extra effort with cleaning would not go a miss. Overall excellent holiday and would recommend.
Debra from Retford (18 August 2013)

Excellent holiday, on first impressions was overwhelmed by the size of the park however by day 3 we all knew our way around.
Nicole from Cambridge (18 August 2013)

Parc and facilities very good, position of mobile home excellent although a little small in size. Weather very hot. Site very busy and difficult to get served at times. Reasonable prices for food and drinks etc, choice of bars to go to. Site supermarket good with all essentials. Disco on site which is good for teenagers
Keith from Thelwall (17 August 2013)

Parc albatros is so well run. It offers something for everyone of all ages. Although large, it is not overwhelming and has many quieter areas for those who don not want to be with the masses! it is set in a beautiful pine forest and the pitches are lovely. It is clean and tidy and life is made incredibly easy with all the on-site facilities. The high light for me was definitely the morning aqua gym; a fantastic feel good factor!
Emma from Broseley (14 August 2013)

Busy, clean and good site. plenty going on and friendly atmosphere. Not sure why people like getting up early to put towels on sun loungers but quite annoying and wish parks would do something about it.
Karen from London (12 August 2013)

We didn't see reps until we called at office. they never came to accommodation to check all ok which reps have always done when we used keycamp in the past. other sites reps would call hello when passing - only took a couple of seconds but it made us feel welcome.
Valerie from London (12 August 2013)

* prefer grass/lawns around swimming pool (like campsites in spain). * very crowded by pools.
Simon from London (12 August 2013)

Great, will come again
Lynn from Switzerland (10 August 2013)

A lovely relaxed site with good facilities.
Catherine (10 August 2013)

Fantastic we will be back again
Simon from Bristol (09 August 2013)

Lovely setting for the parc. One courier was brilliant, the other 2 we had contact with seemed clueless. Accommodation was fine, but looked tired. Parc would benefit from similar kids facilities to some of the french parcs we have been to e.g. Water slides, astro football/basketball pitch, more open spaces.
M C from Derbyshire (09 August 2013)

A great location, excellent facilities with friendly staff.
David from Trowbridge (07 August 2013)

Very good holiday - well run parc
Trevor from Portadown (30 Jul 2013)

Great parc with fantastic facilities. Wonderful, helpful staff. So much to do we didn't leave all week!
Michele from Chelmsford (27 Jul 2013)

We had a great holiday and the site was excellent for young children. Downside was how busy it was and not enough sun beds to go round with everyone taking them from 8am. Lots to do on the site. We will come again. The rep welcomed us but as it was later in the day seemed perhaps rushed to get off rather than talk us through the on site facilities and then we didn't see her again until the day before we left. I think we were also meant to have a welcome bottle of wine but didn't have one? minor things as it was a really good holiday and we would return maybe next year with friends.
Louise from Leeds (27 Jul 2013)

We has a great holiday. The parc was fantastic although my daughter did have her bike stolen by the caravan in the first week. accommodation was lovely however the children's bedroom set up was nothing like the online or brochure picture and was far too small for 3 children. The door way and bunk beds were so close together I was unable to carry a sleeping child to bed which as you probably appreciate is something that happens frequently. There were no wardrobes at all for the children and certainly no room to even open their cases in their room. The master bedroom you could not walk around the bed as it was so narrow, in addition the living room were stored beside the bed making it quite impossible to more around the room. there was a stair gate for the inside on the caravan but unfortunately not on the decking which in my opinion is an improvement that could be made. For the cost of a few catches. other than that the accommodation was high quality and very nice just too small. . .
Barbara from Dumfries (27 Jul 2013)

Great park and pools. Clean and well maintained.
Mark (25 Jul 2013)

Brilliant park - very large and busy, but very professionally ran. always clean, lots going on if you want to join in. Security constantly visible, park is only open to campers. .
Sarah from West Midlands (22 Jul 2013)

We enjoyed our holiday overall but having been with keycamp before, we know that standards are better elsewhere.
Katherine from Mainz, Germany (21 Jul 2013)

Massive site with a lot of facilities for all ages. Staff in the bar were disappointing as were the pool staff who did not control what was happening around the pool in particular booking sunbeds and brollies. All other staff we encountered were helpful and pleasant. The on site restaurant had to be booked but was fantastic in quality and price. Our van was obviously cleaned but not thoroughly and we had to clean some sunbeds ourselves, cutlery and the plastic drying ribbed tray. The toilet was probably not flushed over the winter and the swan neck was stripped of enamel and looked bad. Our bed linen and towels were not left out so I felt so much more could have been done to make our initial impression so much better. This has a big impact on the start of anyone's holidays and I feel must be dealt with to encourage people to reuse your vans in future.
Derek from Broughshane, Ballymena (19 Jul 2013)

Nice parc, good location but very big.
Nina from Isle Of Man (18 Jul 2013)

The parc and accommodation was excellent as usual! the restaurants are amazing and the facilities were always spotless and has enough to do for teenagers and children alike!
John from Dalgety Bay (17 Jul 2013)

We have been to this park before (with canvas) and love it as it's great when you have younger children. courier check in wasn't great (friendly but did not feel at all professional) and our mobile home wasn't clean so this was disappointing.
Daniela from Dunfermline (14 Jul 2013)

Great park but not within walking distance of a town which has advantages and disadvantages and will depend on what you want from your holiday. very large park with great facilities. fantastic pools and larger pool is great for adults and those too big to use the numbers sliding slopes on the kiddies pools - and we didn't have to wear those silly hats that bella italia insist upon. what's the point of those anyway?
Fred from Crawfordsburn (14 Jul 2013)

Won't be back
Customer 138 (13 Jul 2013)

It was okay
Paul from Wellington (09 Jul 2013)

Lack of sun shades by the pool areas. Caravans were situated very close to one another. This might be normal but the online/brochure gives no indication to caravan proximities.
Sarah (06 Jul 2013)

We didn't get the bed linen we ordered, and this was never put right. Our courier also didn't know when we were checking out. The beach was horrid, and there should have been some local information provided by the rep, not just by the parc. The parc was great for the kids and facilities were good. Accomodation also decent and in a good location in the parc.
Tom from London (06 Jul 2013)

Couriers ignored us for the whole stay apart from when we arrived.
Simon from Brighton (30 Jun 2013)

Park facilities excellent. Pools, entertainment, toilets, layout. Staff did not supply toilet paper on arrival or bin liner. When asked for bin liner, was told would receive one but never supplied. Never called the night before leaving either. Beach not particularly nice.
Helen from Ballymena (30 Jun 2013)

This camp has everything for the family, will go back one day.
Frank from Wv5 0Na (27 Jun 2013)
