Our second eurocamp holiday this year, and well worth it.
John from Tetbury (13 September 2015)

Nice clean site, village very quiet.excellent swimming pools. Couriers excellent. Good value for money
Mark from Dartford (12 September 2015)

This is a unique camp site set in an amazing position and right next to the tuscan hill town of sarteano. The pool is out of this world with its fresh water spring and absence of chlorine. The restaurants in town are exceptional too - as are the nearby natural springs, mount cetona (which we climbed) and the countless other towns and villages within easy reach for a day trip. I've been coming here every year since 2000 and am still discovering exciting new things.
David from Colwyn Bay (11 September 2015)

Fantastic parc and nice new aspect accommodation. A very nice base from which to explores the beautiful places of tuscany. also a nice and relaxed village with little restaurants and bars to enjoy in the evening.
Mark from Bracknell (11 September 2015)

Excellent holiday but a little too hot for us
Sheila (09 September 2015)

We had a good time
Customer 6 from Farnham (08 September 2015)

We had a great holiday, we really loved the swimming pools and exploring tuscany/umbria
Hannah from Manchester (01 September 2015)

Could do with the campsite hardware shop selling milk just for your first day. however I totally understand why guests are encouraged to use local shops. The brochure did lead me to choose this site for entertainment for 2 15 year 9ld boys but there wasn't really anything much for them. Many thanks to phil, the eurocamp rep.
Menna from Wokingham (31 August 2015)

Excellent location, being right in town, easy to get to places to explore. Beautiful location, the facilities were excellent, better showers then we had ever had in a eurocamp caravan! . restaurant on site was good too. Soft drinks were expensive at the bar area by the pools, and don't expect not to walk on the flat very often!
Sam from Truro (31 August 2015)

Beautiful parc within walking distance of historic town and a short drive away from stunning tuscan villages and towns. Safari tent and campsite immaculate and all amenities well maintained and spotless!. last week of august very quite on site but suited us!. with four small children this site was great. Could possibly do with a paddling type pool but quibling really here! parc and animation team all great an eurocamp staff extremely helpful as always!. no hesitation in recommending this site! top marks all round!
Confirmed Holidaymaker (30 August 2015)

The parc was very quiet, very clean and had wonderful facilities including great swimming pools.
Annabel from Exeter (22 August 2015)

Excellent park,good location and facilities.
Sylvia from Horsham (21 August 2015)

Lovely campsite, really close to all the local amenities, bars and restaurants in town. really nice pools for adults, as well as good kids pool and play area
David (18 August 2015)

The campsite is really well located with great access to tuscany and umbria and major cities. It's a beautiful campsite, really well maintained and clean and all the staff were extremely helpful. The pools are wonderfully clean and refreshing and the facilities all efficient and accessible.the restaurant is reasonably priced with delicious food.
Harriet (10 August 2015)

Beautiful, well maintained campsite in a great location very convenient to the village. Prices on site were reasonable and facilities were good.
Customer 15 from Enniskillen (08 August 2015)

This is an gem of a site, fantastically situated in sarteano. We had intended to use as a base to explore tuscany but actually spent a great deal of our time locally as it was so lovely and relaxing. Amazing pools, friendly and helpful staff, excellent restaurants in sarteano and do try pasta fresca for an eat in option if you holiday here.
Jeremy from Stanway (07 August 2015)

Lovely holiday, italy was great, love the location, made special as our visit coincided with the civitas festival. Couriers could not have been more helpful.
Clare (07 August 2015)

Loved sarteano, the parc is set in the middle of stunning tuscan countryside. Beautiful towns such as montepulciano, pienza and sienna all near by. Altough the parcs facilities are a little on the basic side, the pitches were shady and private and met our needs.
Sarah from Dorking (29 July 2015)

The aspect was spotless, and the eurocamp couriers were fantastic (as has been sad already phil is an asset to the company). lovely campsite, immaculate and lovely pools. no "centre" to it though as no onsite cafe (only a bar) nor a natural meeting point for the kids. campsite rather than eurocamp run activities sadly which were on the whole disappointing. Not much for young boys, unless yours likes sitting for 3 hours cutting paper and colouring, which mine funnily enough doesn't.
Alison from Channel Islands (18 July 2015)

Much as expected. good clean park - bit too regimented layout for my taste
Colin from Aberdeen (18 July 2015)

Lovely quiet site in the country. Plenty to see and do from this site.
Audrey from Dromore. N Ireland (16 July 2015)

This is a wonderful parc with an olympic size swimming pool and easy walking access to a charming medieval hill town nearby. It's a very attractive area with lots of things to see close by and excellent local restaurants.
Anthony from Dundee (29 June 2015)

Great parc, beautiful town on your doorstep. Rome with 90 minutes by car, siena and florence closer. Will definitely be back.
Paul (25 June 2015)

Booked last minute short stay for gentle start to camping holiday with our own equipment. It was great, and we liked the site so much we stayed there for the rest of the holiday.
Paula from Brighton (16 June 2015)

This campsite is lovely but very quiet, although we did go end of may. Clean and well maintained good spot for visiting out and about, you will need a car. If peace and tranquility is what you want, this is the place
Victoria from Ramsbotton (06 June 2015)

Fantastic campsite, very helpful staff, would highly recommend
Tim from York (01 June 2015)

Parc in a very good situation. I liked the fact you could walk out to the town. Lots of interesting places to see in the area. Pool very good.
Beverly from Bristol (23 May 2015)

Stayed in an aspect in may 2015 with our 9 month old. The aspects are fantastic and we will be looking to stay in one again this year or next. mobile wifi is a real bonus. Accommodation was clean and beds made up which was lovely. Parc was very well kept and all staff were friendly. Phil, our eurocamp courier, is an asset to your company and was so professional and courteous. He helped us get our cot set up for the baby and arranged a new high chair immediately when we discovered ours was slightly faulty. restaurant on site was superb, lots of locals in there. sarteano is a lovely little town with plenty of restaurants and cafes. we will hopefully return to this parc next year.
Claire from Aberdeen (23 May 2015)

A lovely park in the middle of a typical tuscan town. Very unique experience
Judy from High Wycombe (22 May 2015)

A great park, we visited late may and it wasnt very busy, eurocamp couriers could not have been more helpful, pools are great, shop is very basic and bar closes very early but think that was due to lack of guests, not that impressed with restaurant ate there once and then didnt bother again, sarteano is very small but has a good couple of cafe's and more importantly a very good gelateria. Overall a great park and a good location to explore southern tuscany
David from Bournemouth (22 May 2015)

Parco delle piscine is a quiet and relaxed park, great for those who want to get away from it all and explore the beautiful tuscan countryside. so close to the small town of sarteano, there are plenty of places to eat and a local well priced supermarket for supplies.
Richard (20 May 2015)

Reps pleasant but just act as cleaners/admin. Broken bed in new and expensive aspect mobile was very poor. Saddened that no longer get welcome wine or information pack in mobile - cost cutting?. on line booking experience for us was dreadful -something is very wrong with your systems. would use telephone in future which seems mad!. park very nice - well kept, great pool and handy for lovely village
Stewart (17 May 2015)

Early season very peaceful. Sarteano lovely small town. Access to rest of southern tuscany excellent.
Tony from Halifax (11 May 2015)

Excellent location for exploring southern tuscany. Assis is no more than one&half hour's drive away. Sarteano is a lovely little town. It has all that you need in the way of provisions on the door step. We were so impressed with the location that we booked an extra three nights.
Melvyn from Wigan (06 May 2015)

This is my favourite parc. It is beautifully laid out and clean and the pool is fantastic. Just such a shame the the owners don't care about their customers to such a high standard. The aspect mobile home was great. I have been to this site 6 times and although it is fantastic other aspects such as pressure washing spoiled a relaxing holiday.
Sarah from Morchard Bishop (10 September 2014)

Sarteano is the perfect place for an authentic tuscan holiday. There are some amazing restaurants just a short walk into town (osteria da gagliano, tripolitana, santa chiara, il saracino, la choistra)and the campsite restaurant is excellent too. The val d'orcia, montepulciano and the luxury spa in chianciano (terme sensoriale) and the library bar at monteverdi in castiglincello for early evening drinks make for a sophisticated and varied holiday..
David from Bae Colwyn (07 September 2014)

A very nice holiday, it's a shame about the best pool was closed during siesta, the other pool was too busy to use. the accommodation was in the shade so sitting outside during the day without the sunshine was disappointing. there is a lot of interesting places to visit and the countryside is beautiful.
Jessica from Stamford, Lincs (03 September 2014)

Nice tranquil setting really close to the town of sarteano. Our accomodation was great, and the park generally was in good order. Unfortunatley what is probably the best pool at the site closes every day from 1.30 pm until 4.00. No logic, no good reason but searioulsy frustrating!
David (24 August 2014)

The site was great and we want to return. Sarteano itself is a great place to explore and the surrounding area has so much to offer. There were no discos at night which was brilliant,! there was plenty of shade at the pitches and the pool area was the best we have ever had with eurocamp. My only criticism was the decking at the van needed treating. It felt dirty and grubby. There was no warning of mosquitos and there were many. Be warned !
Customer 39 (20 August 2014)

Van not as clean as it could have been, streaky windows gritty floor flies and mossi's a bother must be stagnant pools somewhere near and the decking and surrounding area were dirty and had not been raked or washed/varnished for a long time.
John from Northampton (20 August 2014)

Parco delle piscine is a brilliant parc to go to with small children. My grandson is two and a half and needs lots of different things to do and so between the brilliant children's pool, playground and grassy areas for football and hide and seek we had a great time. the cafe/bar area near the children's pool is very nice to sit in and good for little ones too. The parc is well maintained and feels like a nice place to be. Sarteano is a very picturesque hill town which had a jousting festival on whilst we were there and as the town is just 5 minutes walk away it's easy to wander in. I reckon it would always be necessary to take some warm clothes as sarteano is on the top of a hill, and be prepared for noise. Because it is such a child friendly parc it is also a noisy parc. it's a lovely place and easy to have a good time.
Val from Buxton (18 August 2014)

A really laid-back parc in a lovely location. The spring-fed campsite pool is peaceful and clear – one of the nicest we've every swum in. The other big pool was a great contrast - lots of italian families and teenager creating a good buzz. We loved being able to walk into the town and to a good supermarket in five minutes. Fantastic, great-value pizzeria on site was a good catering fall-back. Lots of festivals going on when we were there mid-august. The site is perfectly located for visiting stunning hill-towns all around. Weather was perfect - in the mid to high 20cs, although cool in the evenings. A great holiday location.
Kathryn from London (18 August 2014)

Fab swimming pools and a nice walk to the lovely village of sarteano. We loved it.
Elli from London (16 August 2014)

Best eurocamp holiday we've had. A great well maintained and most importantly peaceful site, in a great location. not the cheapest site but sometimes you get what you pay for. We will be back.
Chris from We Will Be Back. (15 August 2014)

Only stayed one night which doesn't totally work. Never been to a euro camp before so wanted to try it out. Kids really enjoyed it but not really my type of thing, too organised and not really experiencing the place properly. Family would come again but I wouldn't. V expensive.
Jane from Stockport (02 August 2014)

Excellent parc, very clean with lots of facilities. Local town also very nice, typical tuscan style. Excellent location to tour surrounding villages and close link to rail network for bigger cities like rome and florence
James from N. Ireland (19 July 2014)

Overall a wonderful holiday. thanks again for all your help with booking, organising, etc.
Moira from Aberdeen (12 July 2014)

Good site with direct access to a small town with a selection of good restaurants. good base for sightseeing in tuscany and beyond.
Gordon from Bangor, N Ireland (11 July 2014)

Good parc, good location. Restaurant is nice on site if you're feeling lazy and don't want to walk, but the town is nice and only a few minutes walk away. The pools are clean, but if your kids want lots of pool fun, there isn't here. One pool only has 2 small slides, and they can get bored easily. There is a football pitch on site, but its bookable only, so you have to play on the grass. Eurocamp sites are at the far end of the parc, so there is a little walk to the parc centre, but its not bad. Facilities are all good and clean. It is a pretty quiet parc & not lively at night time at all. You do need a car here as all the sights to see are a drive away.
Peter from Glasgow (11 July 2014)

Very well organized park, friendly staff, good locality, authentic italian village
Caroline from Belfast (10 July 2014)

Good park for families with children, 3 great swimming pools, although main pool with waterfall is cold, but very clean all round. Especially the toilet blocks.
Andy from Benfleet (30 June 2014)

We have visited this site times now and enjoyed it each time. Strongly recommend the cooking classes, excellent value at 5 euros
Alan from Cambridgeshire (27 June 2014)

We visited 3 parks in italy for our holiday. In each, eurocamp staff ensured we had a well-equipped tent, reasonably near facilities and with some shade available. Weather varied from 14 degrees to 36 degrees so shade was very necessary! campsite availability of wifi also varied from a great, free service at this site, to very expensive at our final site at maggiore. Don't really understand why?
Fiona from Linlithgow (26 June 2014)

Excellent couriers on first 2 sites: pauline on zocco. Rob and michelle on camping uvili on elba. Ok on 3rd site on sarteano.
Michael from Sutton Coldfield (25 June 2014)

Parc is excellently located within the town of sarteano. Close to bakery, supermarket and restaurants. The parc has some very good facilities such as the swimming pool (best by far of all the eurocamps I have stayed at) and the restaurant on the campsite is excellent. Great facilities for children including seperate pool and play areas. Toilet and shower blocks were good and always clean
Caroline from Exeter (22 June 2014)

An excellent stay again. Very well located site on the edge of a charming tuscan hilltop village. Great swimming pool. The campsite restaurant disappointing.
Anthony from Dundee (21 June 2014)

Great campsite, well maintained, good facilities for children. . the pools felt significantly colder than the advertised 24 degrees (they were freezing!). it would be nice to have a warm baby pool. It would be nice to have a little shop on site that sold essentials like milk, water and fresh bread. Caravans were nice, clean and in good plots. . we didnt get correct baby equipment or towels that we had ordered but this was quickly rectified. The toilet leaked and this was not dealt with quickly enough (took three days and repeated requests)
Simon (20 June 2014)

Fantastic holiday. Beautifully maintained park, friendly staff and comfortable accommodation. Lots for the children to enjoy. highly recommended.
Jason (20 June 2014)

A relaxing holiday with great weather & food set amongst fantastic scenery.
Vincent from Sandy In Befordshire (15 June 2014)

Great location, great support from the very friendly eurocamp reps and just a fantastic place to relax and enjoy a good holiday. this was our second year and the camp was superbly run again. . . the location is fantastic with the camp connected straight to the wonderful wee town of sarteano which is just as good as
Douglas from Glasgow (14 June 2014)

Park very quiet due to time of year.would have been good to have some childrens activities or games room where they could meet other people. Rather a long walk to pool from accomodation. Couriesr pleasant but information leaflets ,books and games sparse . as there base moblie hafn't arrived. Accomodation too small for our family now as daughter is adult size and the beds too small for her . had a fabulous time despite all of the above.
Nikki from Sutton Coldfield (03 June 2014)

A lovely parc, last visited about 10 years ago. Lots to do I the area
Gill from East Sussex (31 May 2014)

Excellent value. safari tent brilliant. facilities spotlessly clean. area amazing. weather mixed and pool too cold for adults!
Caroline from London (30 May 2014)

We had a nice holiday in a lovely region. The weather was good enough for sight seeing but not good enough most of the time for much use of the (rather deep) pools. The park lacked atmosphere due to being a long way from full. The eurocamp mobile homes are in an area deeply shaded under trees. Perhaps this will be wonderful in july and august but it made for chilly evenings on the deck in may. The eurocamp lads were always friendly and helpful.
Jennifer from Northwich (25 May 2014)

Park is very smart and pitches large and private. however, it is a long distance to all amenities which might be difficult with young children. Sarteano is very pleasant. Couriers were polite but had absolutely no local knowledge or desire to have any. training needs to be given! we also had major issues with our new aspect mobile which could have been dealt with far better. . these new mobiles look very smart but there seems to be teething issues. the double bed was the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in due to an extremely hard mattress and would have been very difficult to deal with for 14 nights!
Stewart (17 May 2014)

It was early on in the season so nothing much open, but was a pleasant stay for sightseeing in the area.
Catherine (05 May 2014)

As I was taken ill and needed to be in hospital during our stay our holiday was rather different!. still a wonderful area
Francis from Rotherham (28 April 2014)

Our third visit and as ever an excellent break. Everything was of a high standard and the couriers were helpful and friendly.
Malcolm from Picton, New Zealand (29 September 2013)

Great week exploring the local area.fantastic site with a great pool.
Simon from Milton Keynes (15 September 2013)

Lovely holiday thanks. Relaxed and easy which for parents is a godsend!
Joanna from Montalto Delle Marche (05 September 2013)

Fantastic value for money. Excellent parc - very clean and well maintained. great to be in a town which was interesting to wander round had lots of choice of cafes and bars and a great fresh pasta shop.
Lyse from Lichfield (05 September 2013)

The camp site was lovely, the three pools were large, and clean and pretty, the pitches were spacious and shady our shower block was exceptional clean with hot water at all times. The weather wasn't always as hot as we are used to and we had a few days of rain. Possibly would have been good to know that the site was positioned high in the hills as I would have packed a few more warm clothes! however, we didn't have a shortage of things to see and do the scenery was particularly beautiful. It would be better if the couriers could give more local knowledge of events . we came across a few medieval festivals that it would have been good to know about. The free sun beds and internet connection were particularly useful.
Christina from Peterborough (02 September 2013)

Really enjoyed our stay
Rowena from Wales (31 August 2013)

Great park, have ben 3 times now. We had terrible noise from music being played into the early hours. A festival nearby was to blame. When that finished (5 nights without good sleep) we had to contend with contend with a cockrel at 4.30 am and noisy neighbours! in other words, we did not get enough sleep!
Edward from Romford/Essex (27 August 2013)

Parc surroundings very noisy and reps pretty useless but nice. Not much sleep. however, the site itself is brilliant and very clean
Debra from Swindon (27 August 2013)

Really nice pools, great for swimming as large and fairly quiet.
Mike from Carlisle (26 August 2013)

Excellent park in a great location. Spotless facilities and a fabulous location. Eurocamp reps were helpful but not all were as friendly as usual.
Maria from Teesside (20 August 2013)

Lovely park with huge private pitches which are very rare in italy. Friendly staff and great cooking class and tour of the town led by stenj. Great to be within walking distance of town and small supermarket. Pool lovely at 8am, bit crowded with energetic dutch for most of the day and lifeguards fairly ineffective. Mobile nice but separate toilet had no hand basin which was a bit alien to us english. Area beautiful with lots of hill towns to explore but our young teenagers didn't appreciate them.
Customer 78 from Reading (19 August 2013)

Perfectly situated on the edge of sarteano and within easy reach of all major cites such as rome and florence. excellent facilities on site including a good value restaurant.
Michael from Maidenhead (17 August 2013)

We loved tuscany and the site was ideally situated for exploring the area. We have stayed with eurocamp before so new what to expect and we were not disappointed.
Jenny from Hittt (17 August 2013)

The camp is in a lovely area and the pools are excellent, especially as they are spring water fed. the campsite has a good facility for take away pizza and our pitch was very private. sarteano is a lovely little town and is a nice place to visit in the evening. we visited rome on the train and drove to siena, assisi and montepulciano. the weather was very hot with only 1 night of rain. we love italy and this region is beautiful.
Sam from Blacko≪ Nelson (16 August 2013)

Best euro camp parc we have stayed at recently. Great location, well managed facilities, lovely pools.
Evelyn (14 August 2013)

Park was quiet with private accommodation facilities. Excellent swimming pool with fresah water. Easy to get sun beds. Weather hot except foe a day of amazing thunderstorms. Eurocamp couriers didn't seem to be bothered and more concerned about missing their film night than our arrival. They didn't put the fridge on nor supply us with our hired bedsheets initially. Saw verylittle elseof themand received no leaving instructions
Lee from Totton (07 August 2013)

Wonderful site, amazing pool and lovely local town
Confirmed Holidaymaker (04 August 2013)

Holiday was great.
Colin from Stewarton (02 August 2013)

Site was clean and well presented. little entertainment and restaurant was poor quality and service. swimming pool closed for siesta 1330 to 1600 which was awkward
Debi from Wakefield (20 Jul 2013)

Great campsite for exploring southern tuscany!
Hans from Balerno (19 Jul 2013)

Great place and great people
Jennifer from Wimbledon (18 Jul 2013)

Sarteano is a fabulous camp quiet with the town outside the gate which will meet all your needs. The setting is superb and close to so many beautiful towns and cities. There is a large pam supermarket a few miles away and fantastic scenery in every direction you travel. Many locals come to the camp site because of the thermal pools and lack of pollution.
Jonathan from Bangor (13 Jul 2013)

This is the 4th holiday we have had at parco delle piscine and each time it has never failed to help us have a great holiday. The parc is always so well organised, open and welcoming. The staff are very helpful and the sense of freedom for young children is a major plus for this parc
Fred from Glasgow (13 Jul 2013)

Parc very peaceful and clean but beds are terrible and pillows are below standard
Paul from Belfast (11 Jul 2013)

Overall a great eurocamp experience. Everything was well thought out. I expecially appreciated the information on our holiday that arrived by email in advance of our departure, the eurocamp rep who was super helpful on arrival, and the fact that the accommodation even had a step in it for our little girls to be able to reach the sink to brush their teeth.
Lucy from Geneva (08 Jul 2013)

As ex keycamp couriers on this site in 2005 our review would be biased as we love sarteano and it continually draws us back. I would say to anybody who wishes to see the real tuscany go to sarteano.
Sue from Sheffield (30 Jun 2013)

Had a great time and will plan to go back to this parc in future
Sid from Dundee (29 Jun 2013)

Spacious site with good shaded pitches. 5 minute walk to the castle and worth a look. Very clean and good facilities.whilst we were there it was lovely and quiet
Clare from Sedgefield (28 Jun 2013)

This was our first visit to italy with eurocamp and we had a fantastic time.
Lesley from Farnham (26 Jun 2013)

The parc was excellent very quiet with good facilities. Could imagine gets very busy in peak periods. The accommodation was very good clean and suitable for our needs. My only gripe and it is slight is that for the money we paid I thought it unfair we should pay for linen hire this really should be included. Other than that would recommend and use again. The couriers were very good as well.
Andrew from Liverpool (24 Jun 2013)

Parco delle piscine is a perfect base for a holiday. The campsite facilities (especially the pool and pizza) are fantastic and being situated so close to the town is great for getting an authentic italian experience!
David from Bae Colwyn (15 Jun 2013)

The campsite was very well maintained and it was great being able to walk into the town. The pitches were a good size and the tent stood up well to the unseasonal downpours we experienced during our stay.
Confirmed Holidaymaker from Manchester (08 Jun 2013)

Bad luck with the atrocious weather, otherwise very impressed with parc
Neil (01 Jun 2013)

Parco delle piscine at sarteano is one of four parcs where we tented during a 24 night tour - we also used four other parcs as overnights in mobile homes. overall an enjoyable holiday despite unseasonably cold and wet weather.
Philip from Malvern (26 May 2013)

Excellent site for touring umbria.
Vic from Leicester (25 May 2013)

Felt relaxed, enjoyed privacy with help nearby if needed. Clean. Good access to nearby places of interest if you have hired a car.
