Super location, set in wooded hills with the sea close at hand Adrian from Ipswich (15 September 2014)
A lovely site, in a beautiful location. Margaret from Redditch (15 September 2014)
Very good overall Angela from Ramsgate (14 September 2014)
A great holiday as usual Anna from Bath (12 September 2014)
Me and my family had a lovely holiday, would love to come back again. Simone from Northamptonshire (09 September 2014)
Accomodation was clean and spacious for a mobile home. The facilities in general were clean ..the pool and surrounding area were lovely. Very large clean pool which never seemed over crowded. Sophie (29 August 2014)
Our holiday was excellant and we didnt want to leave. A great place for a family in a beautiful location. Diane from Chatham (27 August 2014)
Before booking this holiday we had a few arguments with eurocamp about the kids club no longer operating on this parc and some waterslides had shut down since we booked. We were worried, especially with there also being no bbqs allowed and no shorts by the pool. I'm pleased to say we had a great time. The lagoon pool is lovely, the waterslides newly built are very safe (safer than the old one still operating) and our kids (aged 11,8 and 6) loved it. We didn't miss the kids club as we went out and about in the local area, helped in finding the right trips by the eurocamp courier who spoke excellent french and knew the area really well. We would definitely go back again. . downsides to this parc are:. 1) the shop shuts between 13:00 and 16:00. 2) evening entertainment is geared for the french, but as they are by far the majority of people staying in the camp that's to be expected. 3) as its a hilly location there's not many open spaces for play, the play areas are fine but they are gravel surfaces. Martin from Uxbridge (26 August 2014)
Holiday ruined by car , poor accomodation, location of caravan , noisy french teenagers partying until 4am in motning ( in row 8!) , campsite orientated to french , smoking in the restaurant, problems with car booked through eurocamp stopped us going anywhere, entertainment poor , kids club poor. Will never use eurocamp again Amanda from Southampton (26 August 2014)
Overall we had a great holiday but that was mainly down to the parts of france we visited rather than the camp site. Raminder from Sheffield (25 August 2014)
The holiday was good overall but the parc appears to have new owners. Evening entertainment was infrequent and average and restaurant prices had increased. On this basis, we would not return to this parc. Mark from Windsor (25 August 2014)
Not very impressed with this holiday camp. Was not advised that no swimming shorts to be worn in the pool, only swimming pants which my teenager was bit too happy with! that also cost me an extra 35 euros to go out and buy those. Two flume a were very babyish and the other two were dangerous! my boys has several injuries where people came down on top of them as no staff at top of flumes! ordered takeaway at the restaurant, waited an hour then was told cant make it now be ause we are too busy, you can have a refund! staff were rude and unhelpful. Accomadation has seen better days. Everything basic and needed replacing, not worth £1200. Spoke to eurocamp rep about problems and all she said was "yeah that's terrible" very helpful! Lisa (24 August 2014)
Had a great holiday at this campsite, unfortunately on the last few days we had very noisy neighbours during the late evening and well into the morning. This did upset our sleeping somewhat. The van contained 6 teenage lads, which I feel should not be allowed on any campsite as they just wanted to make the most noise, with no regards to anyone around them. Alan from Melton Mowbray (22 August 2014)
Disappointing holiday compared with many enjoyable holidays in the past with eurocamp. Anne from Gravesend (22 August 2014)
I simply cannot recommend this place to anyone and especially if you have children. We have returned having spent just under 2 weeks at this place. We did not overall feel that welcomed (not the eurocamp staff) and everything was geared for the french only really as now owned by franchloc. Bob from Somerset (22 August 2014)
Good site but people but unsuitable for people with mobility issues. Catheruine from Manchester (19 August 2014)
Great holiday, lovely park, not happy having to where speedo's Tony from Banbury (16 August 2014)
Whilst on holiday, I spoke to the eurocamp reps. And they have already spoken to the campsite and referred up the line within eurocamp. . the worst experience I and my family have ever had in over 10 years of holidays with eurocamp. Julia from Bristol (13 August 2014)
Six of us came on the holiday and the accommodation was very clean and I was impressed that all the bed linen and the towels were neatly pressed and wrapped up on our arrival. we had a great holiday thank you. Karen from Weston-Super-Mare (11 August 2014)
We had a great time when we came as a family of 4, with 2 small children (6 and 8 years old). the accommodation was superb and very clean. The pool area was ok but the area for small children needs some renovation (the one with a puzzle pattern on the floor). we managed to find a nearby beach which was lovely but we needed to spend 30min to get there (going through the hill) Anna from London (10 August 2014)
Excellent holiday until return journey where we were robbed at nice airport, the french authorities were very unhelpful. Anna from Louth (10 August 2014)
This is a decent site in a good location. I mostly warmed to the site after a poor initial impression. the brochure had talked of a "waterpark" which I think is a huge overstatement for a couple of poor quality water slides and a general state of disrepair on one of them. that said, the main pool was great and we had a good holiday. just adjust the expectations in the brochure please. Anthony from Exeter (08 August 2014)
This parc is great if you have kids, there are 2 pools and separate slides to entertain. There was entertainment on every evening, so there was always something to do and a place to be. . the parc itself is situated in a slight valley, a little bit off of the beaten track. Nearest town for shopping / eating etc is cogolin. I would recommend going to port grimaud as there are more restaurants etc and generally bit more of a buzz in the evening. Plus you can take the water taxi to st tropez. . would definitely recommend the parc, but not for those who don't like walking up hills! (the accommodations are on the side of a hill) Mitch from Sandy/Bedford (06 August 2014)
Beautifully situated and friendly parc. Excellent activities and helpful staff. Julie from Colchester (05 August 2014)
Since the change from family owned to now france loc (death last year of a child forced the sale), the whole park has changed, no fun station, little in relation to evening entertainment. Poor park set in beautiful surroundings. Scott from Sutton In Ashfield (01 August 2014)
Very good parc, great location. On a steep hill. Pool good, waterslides fun - but not all that safe. They all need replacing really. Kids club all french so not great for ours, but then we were in france! drive to local beach not far but on very windy road so takes a while. Overall would recommend. Tim from Maidstone (30 July 2014)
We had a lovely family holiday. Andrew (30 July 2014)
Perhaps we are just a bit weary of the camp sites but this year was average for us. Our experience up until now has been in italy (6 yrs) but this was our first time in france. Bread etc great, but overall value and service not great at all. Looking to move away from self catering. Caravans are a bit tired too. Jonathan from Bangor (26 July 2014)
Our 6th year in succession at pachacaid and 2nd with eurocamp, our best holiday ever! thank you eurocamp for accomodating us in the perfect location in row 800, waking up to magnificent views every morning made our holiday so special. Everyone is so friendly and so happy. Well done to the new franceloc team, very energetic and enthusiastic. Thank you to all the staff who are like our family now. We are already planning our next visit for 2015. The best holiday experience, thank you all x. Mikki from London (26 July 2014)
Lovely location for parc and accommodation was good. Quite a bit of litter in bushes outside chalet. Decking not big enough had the chalet been fully occupied. Would go back again though. Some cycle hire facility would be great Peter from Aberavon (25 July 2014)
Fantastic park, beautiful surroundings and plenty to do. the baby pool could have been bigger and a bit cleaner. Lovely restaurant on site and not outrageously priced. The usual scramble for sun loungers by the pool but it wasn't too crowded. Compulsory swimwear for men and the rule of no inflatables in the pool was adhered to so it meant we could actually swim. Not very impressed with the children's play area, there was hardly anything there for them except bouncy castles which got too hot to use. couriers were friendly but not intrusive but were always available. Overall, we had a brilliant holiday and would definitely go back. Terence from West Malling, Kent (25 July 2014)
This was our first holiday in southern france and we had a great time. Alan from Carrickfergus (22 July 2014)
We love this parc been comeing here for 8 years Sheila from Caerphilly (20 July 2014)
Didn't like the campsite. Too noisy around the pool, no shade and the whole site on a steep slope - 150+steps to get to the pool is not nice several times a day. We left early and curtailed our holiday. David from Bridgwater (16 July 2014)
Lovely part of the country with lots of thongs to do in the vicinity. Weather was great. Alex from Glasgow (15 July 2014)
Very poor compared to other eurocamp holidays,no bbq allowed unless you buy electric one and exrtension reel,no archery,no quads,no climbing wall etc etc.caravans old style and in need of updating had the impression eurocamp are running down there involvement in this site. Gary from France (14 July 2014)
The accommodation was as described but our caravan was placed very close to another one and we could hear the occupants walking through their caravan. . . it is not a cheap holiday, yes there are facilities on the camp site were good but when we booked the site we thought far more of the slides would be open and there is only one pool which was fine as the site was not fully occupied but in high season it would be extremely busy. . the couriers were excellent especially randy. Samantha from Preston, Lancashire (13 July 2014)
We were very disappointed after returning to this site , we found out the site had been sold to a new company , there was no visible site security on the gate or the park, you could put any number into the car park barrier, and it would open , any body was able to walk into any area of the site from the public road. which we found to out cost, after our mobile home along with others had been broken into , we were not informed that there had been a previous burglary near us several weeks before . Sheila from Crowboroigh (06 July 2014)
The parc is well set up. We went with our 2 young children and they loved the paddling pools and new slides. Anita (03 July 2014)
The parc was in poor condition with a lot of building work going on from 7am most mornings. Andrew from Marple (30 June 2014)
The camp is large with many steps so unsuitable for those with limited mobility. Everywhere was clena and well kept. It is a short distance from st tropez and a good place from which to tour the rest of the south of france Jill (30 June 2014)
Lived up to our expectations of eurocamp, and were delighted with the parc Terence from Wachtum (30 June 2014)
Lovely holiday. Good weather. Friendly staff. Just disappointed that you can no longer buy mobile homes on this site as this was the main purpose of our visit. Lesley from Barrow In Furness (27 June 2014)
Park great if a little out of the way. Fifth time of going to this site and the new owners have made a lot of improvements. Andre (24 June 2014)
Staff very helpful location a bit out the way need a car Tracey from Kent England (21 June 2014)
Not as enjoyable as previous years, we found the accommodation rather tired and not as clean as we have found it previously. The level of provided equipment was not as before. The street lighting which is essential was none operational. we only saw a courier, a) to hand me the keys in the office on arrival, and on a second occasion when we fetched them to the van next door which appeared to have an electrical fault. will I return to the site, this having been our 5th or sixth visit I am not sure that I will return or indeed recommend to my friends. Philip from Newcastle Under Lyme (23 September 2013)
The site was in a beautiful area and was well kept. The pool facilities and the general layout of the site was very good.it was well signposted and easy to find. Jill from Maidstone Kent (17 September 2013)
. . our overall holiday was pleasant. The weather was fantastic. The swimming pool was lovely on the park even though all the water slides had been shut due to an accident that had occurred in july. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Our courier, phil, was very good - especially at unblocking drains. . we had a very relaxing holiday for the money we had paid but we have fallen out of love now with caravanning holidays and will be staying in hotels from now on!. . . . Linda from Hoddesdon (17 September 2013)
Great park facilities and excellent location Margaret (17 September 2013)
We loved the situation of this parc-stunningly beautiful surroundings and very peaceful in september. I sit dreaming of the clear blue skies, the vivid greens of the cork oak trees and the pines, the chirping of the cicadas and the memory of the local goat farmer as he led his flock to different pastures, the sound of their bells resonating across the valley, just like a scene from the film "manon des sources", whilst I try to adapt to the greyness and chill of autumn in the uk!. the pool is lovely and the staff very friendly and helpful, from the lifeguards to the reception staff to the girls in the supermarket. Ros from Petersfield (16 September 2013)
Excellent park and accept that it was off season but it would be nice if say on the saturday night they could still put some entertainment on eg family disco as park seemed almost too quiet and in close down mode. Steve from Chichester (15 September 2013)
Had a lovely time at canadel as always Julie (14 September 2013)
Despite the aqua park being closed we still had a nice stay. Very nice layout, picturesque amongst the trees. The park was quiet with it being slightly out of season. Stuart (14 September 2013)
This site is not the prettiest eurocamp I have stayed at; more coronation street than cote d'azure! however, acommodation is basic, but reasonably well equiped, the eurocamp staff were pleasant and tried to be as helpful as they could. I am not generally attracted to poolside activities, preferring to go to the beaches, the insistance on the style of mens swimwear (no board shorts??) did mean that I chose not to use this facility. Perhaps the convenient sale of 'appropriate' swimwear in reception, might not have looked quite so cynical, had this information been more apparent at the booking stage? however, other than this, there is little here to spoil a break here. Matt from Leigh-On-Sea (12 September 2013)
We have been here before and really like the location of the parc June from Lower Heyford, Bicester, Oxon (11 September 2013)
The only problem was noise from other holiday makers late in the evening particularly unsupervised children. otherwise it was perfect Sheena from Southport (06 September 2013)
Lovely picturesque parc with good facilities. The accommodation was spotless and had pretty much everything we needed. As we were on level 8 it was a bit of a trek down to the pool but it kept us fit. Anyone with babies or toddlers would be better on levels 1-4. The pool was lovely but some areas I felt were looking a bit tired. The staff were friendly and helpful and the entertainment was good. Stuart from Lytham St Annes (06 September 2013)
Camp was good, home was spotless. Pity the pools closed at 19h00. Overall not bad. Michel from Banbury (04 September 2013)
Was spoiled by noise from site staff having parties 3 nights out of the 8 nights we were there. We were supposed to be staying at one of your hotspot sites which was a quiet spot. one party began at 2am. Anthony from Leeds (03 September 2013)
This parc insisted we purchase 2 pairs of swimwear approved by the parc before swimming at 15e each so we could not go swimming without spending 30e my husband did not use the pool at all. On the last day there swimming boutique closed and they no longer required us to do it. It was a scam. Customer 60 from St Albans (02 September 2013)
Fantastic location, loved the pool. Shop was adequate but small. On site restaurant was very good if not quite expensive, where isn't ??!! locality is superb, close to st tropez , port grimoud etc.. Lawrence from Worthing (31 August 2013)
Parc in great location but facilities in need of investment. Fun station a real highlight for our children Andrew (30 August 2013)
We loved the fun station reps; cath and devin. They were fantastic and the kids loved them. Please pass on our thanks. William from Bristol (29 August 2013)
Family friendly holiday in a great location. Mark from Egham (28 August 2013)
Lovely camp. Sports facilities need updating as are a little shabby Susannah from Chester (26 August 2013)
Parc is in a nice secluded location with lovely views and surroundings. Bit of a drive to the nearest beach though. Lots of on site evening entertainment if that's your thing, but if not, its a bit of a drive to get anywhere else ; don't think about getting a taxi to any other local towns, you won't be able to afford it ( the nearest town, 10 mins away, £60 return ). and be up early for the opening of the pool to join the sun bed queue ; be prepared to run and barge, or you'll miss out for the day. Accommodation is getting a little old and tired. Stephanie from Welwyn (25 August 2013)
Very clean and pleasant site. Kev from Portsmouth (24 August 2013)
The swimming pool is nice. There's lots of entertainment, mostly in french, but, surprisingly, still quite good. The bars and restaurant are ok too. David from Sevenoaks (24 August 2013)
Parc is slightly more centered around older children 7+ as limited playgrounds etc for little ones. Shop is well stocked bar food average but staff friendly., restaurant a bit expensive I thought. Entertainment varied and fun, large pool. . closest village is a 25 minute walk so car or bikes essential if you have kids and want to explore a little. Barry (23 August 2013)
We had a lovely holiday, but wouldnt use this site again. would also be mucgh more picky on choice fo caravan next time Julian from Warwcik (22 August 2013)
Excellent site, beautiful surroundings, good entertainment and awesome pool. Bit of a trek to the beach if your wife doesn't like driving over the mountain. Thomas (22 August 2013)
The park is well kept with good facities and helpful, friendly staff. We chose this park as it is in a beautiful area, we explored different beaches everyday, kayaking, windsurfing and snorkelling. Eating out with teenagers was expensive and not as varied as the uk. Patricia from London (21 August 2013)
We were disappointed that we couldn't bbq as it was hard to cook in the small kitchen. There were too many people playing ball games in the shallow end of the pool. You could guarantee you would get a ball thrown on you if you were in the pool. I think that needs to be looked at as there were toddlers in that area. The euro camp staff, fun station, in particular thanks to kath and devin who our kids loved. The resort staff were outstanding. Isobel from Hersham, Surrey (20 August 2013)
Excellent. The parc was lovely and the couriers great. The only issue was the closure of the slides but in the circumstances it was accepted in good grace and the 20% refund was good. It made little difference to me anyway and my boys got on with other things instead. Jane from London (16 August 2013)
We loved this park last year and came back for a second time. . overall we had a good time. Unfortunately there was a tragic accident prior to us arriving which meant that part of the park was closed. That said, there was no reason to have the trampolines or baby pool closed. My suspicion is that this was to save money as the site was closed to the public. . the park also decided to offer the sunbeds and shades free of charge due to part of the park being closed. This was a bad move as it meant people queuing to get into the pool in the morning and running for sunbeds (which there were too few of!). despite many people complaining that they would prefer to pay, nothing was done. This was a real shame and as I did not really want to queue for sunbeds in the morning or watch people take 8 sunbeds and leave towels on them until the afternoon! . . pachacaid also need to think about the adult entertainment in the evening and also the price of the food and drink in the on site eateries which was very expensive. Martin from Hemel Hempstead (16 August 2013)
Great all round holiday, excellent accommodation and parc facilities. Liz from Abergavenny (15 August 2013)
Really nice park, had a great holiday!! only down side was the old caravan we was given, it was clean apart from the disgusting mattresses' and pillows, they need renewing or updating your caravans!! Robert from Hertfordshire (14 August 2013)
Parc slides were closed due to accident which we were aware of a few days before our holiday. unfortunate and unforeseen circumstances and something which we accepted and understood before we started our holiday. Julia from Bristol (14 August 2013)
Had a lovely time, thought prices at parc were over priced at pool bar and £7 for a washing machine token was ridiculous, rep we saw when arrived and when left no issues through holiday with accommodation but pool bar was charging £3 for a glass of lemonade as they had run out of small bottles and the same lemonade was being sold on shop for £2 a large bottle, very strict rule about own drinks by the pool all seem to be very spend spend spend, also had to que for 30 mins before pool opened to get a sun bed which is ridiculous!!!!! Lauren from Milton Keynes (13 August 2013)
I was not enamoured by the parc which was overcrowded by the pool partly perhaps because the small pool and water slides were closed due to a tragic accident a few days before we arrived. however, I am guessing it was always crowded as usually they allowed the public to use the pool and slides anyway so it would have been busier still! the cafe by the pool was dirty and expensive, but the terrace restaurant was nicer and had entertainment on every night if that was your thing, my children thought it was good. the accommodation wasn't particularly clean when we arrived, for instance the bathroom smelt of urine and the mobile home was riddled with ants but once I had re cleaned it myself and purchased some ant poison it was fine. however I wasn't impressed by the set up of eurocamp, the mattress where old and uncovered and sank in the middle, we were provided with one small parasol outside the home which did not fend off most of the days sun and everything was very basic. in comparison to some other companies that were also on the site such as the dutch company roan I think eurocamp came out looking shoddy. roan's mattress' were fairly new, wipe clean and did not sink in the middle. the homes had an awning outside of the home which did provide shade and their chairs had little touches such as outside cushions. there are barely any 'little touches' with eurocamp and their staff are fairly young and seemingly in experienced when it comes to customer service. so will we go with eurocamp again? unfortunately probably not. so why have we still said our overall holiday was good? because once we went and found the beaches our holidays was fantastic, but only because we spent 85% away from the campsite. sorry eurocamp, but you could do so much better. Ali from Salisbury (12 August 2013)
Pachacaid is situated in a an amazing area ideal for beaches and st tropez. a big shame the water park is closed for the season. Also would have been nice to have been told before arriving that swimming shorts aren't allowed and only speedo types allowed as we had to spend nearly £40 in the shop on new ones. Shop and restaurants are expensive. I know the park is part woodland but would be nice to be able to have bbq's. Kids club was amazing. Well done cath and devon. All in all a very nice place but needs to be cheaper. Also most of the foreign caravans seemed to be more exclusive with tv's, better decking areas etc than the euro/key camp one's Dave from Camberley (11 August 2013)
The surrounding area is fabulous but this parc certainly wasn't for us - very crowded and rather shabby. Victoria from Wiltshire (11 August 2013)
This campsite had a major incident in the water park which caused it to close until further notice pending investigation. Many staff members left as a result, causing many activities to be closed during our stay. Furthermore, some other activities where mis-advertised (no basketball or quad biking on site). all in all, this made our holiday quite unpleasant. Accommodation is ok: what to be expected from a mobihome campsite, no real complaint apart from a sink blockage during our stay. Delphine from London (11 August 2013)
With the drowning of a small child at the waterpark on the day of our arrival we considered whether we were going to stay there or ask to be moved. We stayed and enjoyed a relaxing, pleasant holiday at a well run camp. The new life guards at the pool gave us confidence to stay. Andy from London (10 August 2013)
This was a disaster. We took our son who has autism. He has been looking online at the water slides for months, as he hates anything unknown. When we arrived we were told they had been closed down!!!!instead of my husband and I sitting in the sun while he played, as we had envisaged, we were having to amuse him all day, at great expense, a lot of travelling, and a lot of anxious austistic behaviours. Not good at all!!!!! Helen from St Leonards On Sea (10 August 2013)
We loved our holiday at this park. A great location to see all the site. It felt very safe for the children to walk around. It was lovely and quiet by half ten. A real family park. We had a great experience here on our first euro camp holiday. Karen (09 August 2013)
I would return to the parc again. Great location to get to more tourists sites etc. . we had a great family holiday. Michelle from Stowmarket (08 August 2013)
We have visited this site 6 times over the years and would normally have given it 10 in every category however due to the sad incident that happened this summer ( of which you will be aware) the score is much lower. This is more due to the lack of communication between couriers and holiday makers and also reduced facilities and site not maintained as it should have been . Helen from Meols Wirral (06 August 2013)
The park was clean and tidy, the entertainment was poor as were the slides which were closed down the second week due to an infant death. The pool staff were more interested in making money out of renting beds and making sure you had speedos on than watching the pool hence the infant death while we were on holiday. Matthew (05 August 2013)
For the cost I would expect the bed to be made and at least pillow cases for all of the pillows. The caravan had numerous problem s, but staff were too young to be bothered. . site was fine, great location, very dense. Pool was very busy and you had to pay for loungers. Lots of information about bbq's yet when it comae to it they were banned. Richard from Seaford (04 August 2013)
