We were there in the last week of the parks summer opening. This was a good thing as it was previously very busy, but much quieter for our holiday. Nice pool complex. The children loved the slides. Clean, well run "sunelia" park. Neighbouring campsite had noisy discos at night which were a bit annoying. Nothing of interest to see in the local area. Beaches ok but rather steep by the waters edge so we didn't leave the park much. The sunelia staff were lovely, very energetic running entertainment for the kids. Accomodation fine - clean but basic level of equipment. We liked being able to borrow games and beach equipment for free from eurocamp. Recommend bolongerie on nearby retail park (turn right at the roundabout, then get off at next roundabout) Rob from Shrewsbury (05 September 2015)
Good site with very few english guests. During the week we were there it was nice to see lots of french guests but all the entertainment was in french. Not a bad thing but kids found it hard to understand what was going on. Confirmed Holidaymaker (02 September 2015)
Veryenjoyable parc, nicely spaced out slots. tony and tracey very helpful on parc with eurocamp. Great facilities, close to beach. some noise at night but not les tropiques fault as next door site but stops at midnight. . fantastic pool and clean etc. Nicole from London (30 August 2015)
Good campsite close to beach. Tony & tracey (couriers) were very helpful & friendly. We stayed for 10 nights & would have like have provided with more than 1 set of linen. otherwise had a great holiday. Nick from Leeds (29 August 2015)
We stayed at les tropiques for 11 nights in august. . . we drove from north london via the eurotunnel and stopped overnight (going) at orleans (south of paris). in total our drive from calais with 3 pit stops (including one for the motel) took us 10.5 hours at a steady 80mph (130kph). tolls were €71 each way. . we were pre-greeted by tony and tracey on our journey down by sms. They asked for our arrival time and we told them 4pm. Tony met us at the front barrier and showed up to our accommodation. During the induction to the camp tony told us where the best supermarkets were located and then gave us a card to use for the electronic barrier to the main site. We paid tony a £20 deposit for the card which was refunded on the last day. . . at first I was extremely sceptical about eurocamp. Our accommodation (the esprit) is classed as a 3 bedroom (sleeping 8), with a single bathroom (which is just a shower and a sink). the central area houses a table, a few chairs and the kitchen. Our unit (and I believe most all now) include an air conditioning unit in the main area. Outside is a spacious deck area covered by a tarpaulin. Beside the deck was a large bbq and parking for one car. . . we found the eurocamp section comprised mainly of brits but also families from ireland and northern ireland. Everybody was friendly and we (as newbies) were given plenty of useful advice. . . swimming area. •the pool area is gated and opens at 10am. Disabled access is via a separate barrier. . •there are two lifeguards managing 4 pools and the 2 main slide areas. •at lunch and at busy periods (typically august between 12-2pm) do not leave any unattended towels if you leave the swimming pool area as the lifeguards will remove them (to allow others to use the sunbeds). we went to lunch in shifts!. •no food is allowed anywhere in the pool area; given the area is nice and clean I can see why this is so. •and men (whatever girth) have to wear tight swimming trunks (think speedos, no pockets). this is enforced as I found out after €16 cost!. . there are a variety of pools onsite ranging from a small toddler pool to a large unheated pool. The heated pool is by the entrance and is extremely busy (mainly with kids jumping in). next to that is another large pool but being unheated is less busy. . eating. There is a small supermarket on site that sells the essentials. It is also expensive. Milk for example was close to €2. Beside the supermarket is a boulangerie (bakery) that sells freshly made croissants and bread (including ciabatta bread) in the morning. You can also pick up a newspaper here as well. . . if you have a car, both lidl and aldi are approx. 4 miles away. Each are a decent size, good parking and a good selection of food and drink. The hypermarkets are approx. 10 miles away (but definitely worth it if you only plan on a stop shop strategy and use the local supermarket on site for bread, milk and croissants. . . back on the campsite there is one restaurant (by the entertainment area). we ate there twice and cost wise was probably a luxury for us considering we are a family of 5 and both meals worked out at £10 per head (including drinks). the food was very good (hence why we went twice). you can only book this restaurant (in our experience) on the day after 6.30-7pm (the restaurant opens about 7-7.15pm). because this is not a eurocamp site (it is a sunelia run site) the restaurant appeared to be reserved for sunelia customers on friday night. We wanted to eat on friday and were told that all the tables were fully booked (if not actually occupied) between 7-9.30pm. . . this disappointment made us use the snack bar and despite being quite busy we ordered some decent food (mainly burgers and chips). our understanding was that this snack bar is used a lot by people who cook their own food or do bbqs as the snack bar chips were superb! we used the snack bar (mainly for chips) three times for our 3 bbqs. . . next to the restaurant is also a pizza parlour we didn’t try so effectively you have 3 options to eat out. In the middle of all this is the bar, games room and entertainment area. . . venture outside. As you leave the camp directly opposite is where the market and fun fair is held. The later although pricey is definitely value for money as they give the kids several minutes on the rides. Opposite this is a mobile pizza place we didn’t use but were told it was very popular (more so than the onsite pizza parlour). I queued up for 30 minutes with people jumping in front of me. Apparently the best way to use this pizza place is to pre-book. I would warn you that is gets very busy! almost beside the pizza place is a small shop that sells food and drink much like a supermarket (but clearly it has been set up as a temporary structure). they sell wine by sealable plastic jugs (i think 3litres) and was a very popular service (and reasonably cheap). they have a selection of fruit, vegetables and olives you can try (depending on the time of year) before buying. . . overall. It took us a few days to get into the eurocamp spirit - yes we would have liked more space inside the cabin – yes we would like to have understood why there were so many rules for the swimming area (e.g. Men must wear speedos, no food at the poolside, no shoes / flip flops inside the pool area etc.) but we come away having really enjoyed les tropiques. We liked eurocamp so much we have booked la chapelle in 2016 (about 15 minutes from les tropiques but near canet beach). . . Tim from London (26 August 2015)
Just too noisy at night. not the camp's fault but it's location is next to other noisy camps and kept us awake. Paula from Guildford (22 August 2015)
Great parc- relaxed atmosphere. Pitches were a bit small but separated from neighboring mobile homes by hedges so plenty of privacy if wanted. Children loved the swimming pools and the playground which was often almost empty. Plenty to do in surrounding areas and only 5 mins drive to well stocked intermarche supermarket. We all enjoyed the holiday here and would come back. Lucia from London (21 August 2015)
First time at a eurocamp. Had a week in a private villa the week before, before trying eurocamp for 4 nights. After the initial culture shock of the number of people on site, a chaotic arrivals procedure and the size of accommodation. We settled in nicely thanks to tony the onsite courier. A eurocamp holiday is not necessarily our "cup of tea" (wife & i) but the kids (two boys aged 7) absolutely loved it and have insisted we go to a eurocamp next year for at least a week. Alexander (19 August 2015)
A well presented parc with good facilities. good value for money. Exceptional euro camp couriers who were very attentive, informative, helpful and hard working thus ensuring that we all had a very enjoyable holiday. Richard from Cardiff (15 August 2015)
A great site for relaxing, all the amenities are close by yet it is not noisy. the perfect holiday combination of lazy days by the pool and days spent sightseeing. Neil from Warrington (10 August 2015)
Lovely time had be all five of us (two adults, three children of 12,13 & 16). great accommodation and lots to do on the park. Couriers could not have been more helpful and friendly. thank you eurocamp. X Emily from London (06 August 2015)
We had a superb holiday. We have stayed at this park before & chose it again because of the good eurocamp pitches & on site facilities. Tony & tracey are excellent couriers - helpful & always around, if you needed them. Sue from Birmingham (04 August 2015)
Lovely holiday. The parc is clean with good organised activities. My younger one thoroughly enjoyed the kids club. Would be good if this was available at the weekend. Our reps were excellent and very helpful. Would recommend the parc Gary from Tarporley (31 July 2015)
Clean and comfortable cabin, neat and manicured park and the eurocamp staff were very friendly and helpful. Well placed for lovely beach and pool complex kept kids happy. Ticked all the boxes! Rachel from Basingstoke (25 July 2015)
The parc very much catered for french only..no entertainment whether it be day or night in english, german or any other language. The parcs staff were frankly ignornant, there was double standards on parc rules (basically do as you please if you were french), however the parc however was well kept and clean. . the accomodation was immaculately clean and ready upon our arrival, however feel that the unit was getting a little old and had some aircon issues, which was dealt with impecably by the courriers. . the courriers were excellent, they were welcoming, attentive as neccessary, informative of the area and local attractions, efficient and professional throughout, as well as being genuinelly nice people. . in regards to value, I dont find eurocamp particularily expensive, however can only advise that I felt it was only average value for money (at best) as the parc really did nothing for foreign guests. Gordon from Dunbar (23 July 2015)
Our kids did not want to come home! Julie-Ann from Torreilles (21 July 2015)
Good site with very good facilities especially for the more active person. Well situated. Andy from Yverdon, Switzerland (18 July 2015)
A great location and family friendly park Craig from Edinburgh (12 July 2015)
Nice relaxing break on a tidy, well-managed site. Proximity of beach a bonus. Tony and ttracey, our eurocamp couriers, were consistently helpful and friendly. Richard from Redditch (03 July 2015)
Nice location, great reps- only negative would be some of the pools were a bit deep for under fourteens. Jacqueline from Kilmarnock (29 June 2015)
We have been to this parc many times over a number of years, it is easy to find, clean and tidy, and although this year the campsite reps had changed we were treated with great respect and the reps went out of their way to ensure our holiday requests were dealt with in a friendly and helpful way. We would definitely go back again Elaine from Bristol (28 June 2015)
Small campsite but close to an amazing beach. Couriers were fantastic here and so helpful nothing was too much trouble for them both. The bar area was disappointing and so we didn't use it but swimming pool and on site bakery were excellent. Janice (28 June 2015)
Overall enjoyed the holiday. Thought the two couriers tony and terry were excellent. The accomadation was the cleanest I have ever taken over thnaks to their efforts Kevin (21 June 2015)
Great camp site, no fault to be found, all facilities at hand. Love that they take pride in the plants and trees in the site. Pool area spotless. Wifi - expensive though. Bradley from Essex (20 June 2015)
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in every aspect. Jane from Warrington (05 June 2015)
Camp and staff mediocre on site. Only saving grace was our marvellous couriers and the fact that the camp is situated in an excellent position for where we like to visit. Susan from Alton (06 September 2014)
This is the second time of visiting this park. It is a safe clean enviroment with lots for children to do. David from Leeds (29 August 2014)
Suoer clean well kept parc excellent couriers helpful and present when needed but not overbearing. Loads to do in locality river swimming beach sports activities Joanna from Cheshire (27 August 2014)
Excellent holiday. Would come back here again. Jo from London (27 August 2014)
Overall, a nice area to stay in. Considering this area wash probably once marshland, it's very lush with blue flag beaches all around. Steve from Chelmsford (25 August 2014)
Not much evening entrainment for english speakers and some park staff where rude and serving french peoples before us even if I was stood at the bar for a coffee for ages, the eurocamp staff where really nice and friendly Romina (23 August 2014)
This was are first ever euro camp experience and I couldn't fault. From start until finish we had a fantastic time. My family consisted of myself, husband and our 3 children (2,3 & 13). the parc is very well kept, swimming pools where great although my teenager really didn't like the swim trunk rule! but got used to it. There's not an awful lot of entertainment but this suited us, onsite shops lovely for fresh baguettes etc. Local supermarkets only a 5 minute drive away. Beaches local and around the area fantastic and worth a visit. Accommodation had everything you needed, plenty of space and air conditioning very much appreciated. A lovely safe welcoming parc with great reps, we will defiantly be returning. Madeleiene from Sittingbourne, Kent (23 August 2014)
One of the better sites. clean and good location for shop/beach etc. Overall good holiday. Trudy (21 August 2014)
The parc was very french. Little english was spoken. Even the information desk staff spoke little english. It was difficult to obtain information about the surrounding area from anyone other than the eurocamps rep. Tony was particularly helpful and went above and beyond our expectations with his helpfulness. There were no eurocamps kids clubs at this parc. It was also virtually impossible to join in with sports events etc. As everything was in french. I believe this is really a parc for the french. The restaurants were very good on site but had to be booked in advance. Even the takeaway pizza had to be ordered an hour in advance. This was a little restricting whilst on holiday. The biggest problem for me was the lack of kids clubs for english speaking children. Natasha (19 August 2014)
Great holiday :))) Kate (16 August 2014)
Great courier (tony). facilities and amenities were spot on and well maintained. Not the quietest parc (not a moan btw - just a heads up). whole family loved it and would definitely recommend. Stewart from Bedford (16 August 2014)
This was our second visit to this site and it was as good as the first. Amy from Lutterworth (15 August 2014)
This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. We went last yr & loved it that much that we went again this yr! the site is fantastic, loads for kids to do, the eurocamp couriers are brilliant! very helpful and friendly Tina from Hertfordshire (15 August 2014)
We had a great week - the area is lovely and barcelona is only less than a couple of hours away. Tony and joan were absolutely lovely and helpful too. The camp is very french-geared however and we never really felt as if we fit in; very loud entertainment til midnight every night (bad french karaoke!) Jessica from London (12 August 2014)
Enjoyed the break. Roussillon is brilliant as ever. Just needed more time to explore & do all the activities available. Pity about hurricane berta. Customer 40 (12 August 2014)
Parc and location ideal for families that like a laid back french experience, near to a fantastic beach. Also, this parc is near to some lovely places to visit nearby, colliure, perpignan, ville franche ect. I cannot comment on the pool area during the day as we always walked the 10 mins to the beach and only went to the pool in the evening for the last hour. I am certain though it gets quite busy due to feed back. The evening entertainment is not the greatest but is bad/funny if you know what I mean. Most holiday makers are french so please bare this in mind. Also, there is not any family/youth disco so limited entertainment for teenagers. Joanne (10 August 2014)
Fab parc. Fab couriers! considering this parc for next yr. . Rebecca from Doncaster (08 August 2014)
First time to this part of south of france as normally around the cannes side, but it was fantastic. The couriers were excellent and recommended some beautiful villages to go for dinner and sight seeing. The accommodation looked almost brand new given the high standards that have gone into looking after them. . the parc itself is smaller than others we have been to, but had a very friendly feel and the entertainment on the evening was very suited to the audience. . . overall would recommend to all families for a great holiday. Well done euro camp Gary from Chester (02 August 2014)
A fantastic family holiday, we travelled with children aged 16, 10 and 7. They all made friends from within a couple of days which set the tone for a great relaxing holiday. We felt the parc was very safe to allow our kids to explore and meet with their newfound pals in the evening. The pools were spotless and very well supervised by the lifeguards whilst still allowing the kids and adults alike to have fun. . on site shop and bakery was good for essentials, however a good selection of supermarkets within a 1 mile drive. . a special mention for tony and joan the eurocamp couriers, they were fantastic. We amended our holiday whilst there with no fuss and bother, everything we needed was sorted including some great advice on local areas to visit. . all in all a great holiday, we wouldn't hesitate to return. Luke from Norfolk (02 August 2014)
Parc lovely, couriers fantastic, it was just a shame about the weather and we drove all that way. Robert from Kent (26 July 2014)
Thoroughly enjoyed, great area with lots to do but also plenty of relaxing. Couriers very friendly and generally concerned that we were having the best time. Safari park a must. Clare from Tunbridge Wells (26 July 2014)
Eurocamp couriers on this site were excellent and the parc was ideal, however it still is an expensive holiday Maurice from Banbridge (26 July 2014)
This is the first time we have travelled so far south in france with eurocamp and the weather was mostly very hot although windy at times, and we had one rainy day (mid july). the park setting is spacious and pretty (lovely hedging with flowers in between pitches) and a reasonable amount of room between mobile homes. the camp shop is basic but the bakers which is attached provides a choice of lovely fresh bread and pastries on a daily basis. There are supermarkets available but you need a car to access them. It's worth noting that the smaller local supermarket offers much better value for money than the carrefour which is located about five miles away. . the pool facilities are nice and clean although it's difficult to swim for anyone who is hoping to use the pools for exercise. There are limited sun beds available (which are actually free of charge) and even though I am a french speaker, we found some of the french families rude and unwilling to share beds which had been left with towels on and unused for hours. The eurocamp rep tony advised us to inform the pool lifeguards as this is apparently not allowed, however we were at the end of our holiday and decided to go to the beach instead to avoid any confrontation. It did spoil the holiday a bit. Please note that men have to wear speedos when swimming and this is rigorously enforced!! . the eurocamp reps tony and joan were very friendly and helpful, which has not always been our experience in the past. As seasoned eurocampers, this is the first time we have been given a bottle of wine on our arrival and was much appreciated. . there is little to do in the immediate area but if you are prepared to travel it is well worth visiting spain and the french villages in the pyranees. We made it to the salvador dahli theatre museum in figueres. Absolutely fantastic and one of the highlights of our holiday. we have adult children and a downside was that there was little to keep them occupied outside of the campsite and they were reliant on me and my husband for transport. There is no local village to walk to at night which is a bit of a shame. . there is entertainment available at night but we found the quality of the alcohol at the camp bar quite poor. The cocktails which were promoted each day were not very nice and the beer tasteless (watery and weak). we opted for buying our own alcohol from the supermarket in the end and drinking/eating at the mobile home which we enjoyed. Still it was a bit of a shame as it's nice to wander down to the bar area from time to time. . the parc itself is quite peaceful at night but the campsite nearby has very loud entertainment which goes on to the early hours of the morning. Unless you are seasoned party goers (which we are not) it was a bit annoying and tricky getting to sleep at times. . overall we had a wonderful holiday and loved exploring a new area of france, and we weren't ready to leave (always a good sign). having said that I can't see us returning to the area or this particular campsite again and we would probably opt for spain which is not that much further to travel, has more consistent weather and is cheaper than france. Gill from Folkestone (25 July 2014)
The parc was far too noisy at night. the eurocamp couriers were the best we have ever had. we have been using eurocamp for years so have experience. Catherine from Edinburgh (23 July 2014)
Outstanding. The couriers where brill Customer 50 from Biggar (19 July 2014)
We loved the park as it was close to the beach and the pool complex was really spacious and well thought out. However although we went when it was quiet, neighbouring sites must have thought we were deaf and really wanted to attend their disco! if you want a quiet time don't go in high season. Our only gripe was that there wasn't much life in walking distance from the site. You had to get in the car. Sian from Liverpool (08 July 2014)
Excellent park with loads to do for the children. Location is great for getting out and about although you need a car. The evening entertainment is definitely for the french. Tony and joan were very friendly and always helpful. We had a really happy time. Keith from Edinburgh (06 July 2014)
The parc is very good and the couriers are excellent. The units were clean and serviceable but getting a bit old now though. Tony and joan are a large part of why this holiday was so good, they are excellent couriers who can't do enough for you. Carys from Colchester (05 July 2014)
Once again we were greeted by tony and joan in a most professional manner and they were great throughout our stay. No question went unanswered and no query was deemed too trivial to be dealt with, we are sadden to here they may be retiring and feel they would be a great loss to euro camp and the site it's self. Frederick from Bristol (29 June 2014)
This is our third stay here and the couriers as usual were welcoming and would go out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. This parc is locating perfectly for the surrounding areas of perpignan and canet en rousillion a short drive away. The nearest supermarket bigger than a corner shop is some distance so I recommend a car! Terry from Aylesbury (27 June 2014)
Excellent Gordon from Southampton (15 June 2014)
Tony and joan were fab reps ,pools and accommodation great, the only let down is no kids club :( Kerry from Bristol (30 May 2014)
Very good representatives, a little more in the way for english holiday makers in the entertainment would have been a nice idea Hughie from York (02 September 2013)
Good campsite, plenty of space, tennis courts free to book, good pools Julie from Brighton (02 September 2013)
The overall holiday was very good. The only small complaints were the swimming pools were a bit cold, english speaking guests werent catered for in the evening entertainment, and some of the french younsters werent always very pleasant to the english kids!! Kevin from Windermere (01 September 2013)
Very well looked after by tony and joan. They added the "home from " touches which make all the difference. Thank you Kevin (01 September 2013)
A very relaxing holiday which was made by two amazing couriers. from the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble, the mobile home was spotless. Rachel from Warfield (30 August 2013)
A great holiday, in a lovely location. parc was excellent and we would go back. Amy from Wiltshire (30 August 2013)
Lovely authentic france Steven from Baldock (27 August 2013)
The camp is a little tired and the pools poor compared to what we have come to expect from eurocamp. Basically 2 square boxes of water and a splash pool. They could not have been effectively cleaned either as both our children had raging ear infections within 48 hours of using the pools and had to see the camp doctor for antibiotics. (and had not been in the sea at all)in addition, the camp is also very noisy in high season at night - the "entertainment" is 7 nights a week until 11.30 which was of poor quality and very loud - this should be clearly stipulated on your adverts for the camp as we would definitely not have selected it had we known. There is also spillover noise from a nearby campsite until midnight and on saturdays and sundays until 3am from an outdoor club. On the positive side the beach at toreilles is lovely as is the village and surrounding towns. The couriers, tony and joan are the best we have ever had and could not have been more helpful and welcoming. They were really excellent and I cannot praise them enough. Theresa from Brighton (24 August 2013)
A n enjoyable, although short, holiday. Particularly impressed by the very useful and friendly service given by the couriers. Michael from Cork (24 August 2013)
Great camp, child friendly. Would definately go back. Jacky from Liverpool (21 August 2013)
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Robert from Swindon (19 August 2013)
Tony waited until gone 8pm for us to arrive after a long drive; both he and joan were brilliant and very friendly and approachable. Les tropiques very busy first 2 weeks in august; smallish entertainments/restaurant area. Kevin from Cheslyn Hay (19 August 2013)
We wasnt informed you had to ware trunks in pools no board shorts or swimming shorts' pool toilets dirty .was told had a gym was couple benches and wieghts with other broken machines out of use false advert .at night next parks music blasting out till late keeping kids up . Kirt from Horley (19 August 2013)
Our 5th year at this parc + yet again a superb holiday for all the familym special thanks to tony + joan who looked after us so well + really went the extra mile to ensure we had a great holiday Lynn from Halesowen (18 August 2013)
We had a lovely holiday can't fault the accomadation tony and joan were fantastic and a mind of information on places to eat and visit but the area itself there isn't a lot around thankfully we took our car so we could go furher afield. Its definitely more towards the french holiday makers than any other not many things aimed at non french speakers glad we had translater app . Roger from Oxford (17 August 2013)
Very disappointed, campsite completely french orientated, we understand that it is a french site but considering the number of english speaking people on site, we were not catered for at all. Richard from Reading (16 August 2013)
Excellent holiday, this is our third stay at this site & was as good as expected. Sue from Birmingham (16 August 2013)
Great holiday if you like pools & beaches. Difficult to get around locally, as it appeared the whole of france had decided to holiday there too(mid august) enough to keep the kids occupied although we didn't rate the evening entertainment. Fiona from Bristol (16 August 2013)
A fantastic site, big, but it felt nice and compact. Big enough to explore after your evening meal and have an impromptu game of volleyball! we always found something new on our travels.wonderfully looked after pools by their lifeguards making sure everyone was safe. They also don't allow 'sun-lounger saving' which was wonderful! close to the beach, a nice french, family site. Highly recommend. Amy from Leicestershire (13 August 2013)
Excellent holiday overall. Shaun from Barrowford (13 August 2013)
Our couriers tony and joan were wonderful - their organisation skills, knowledge, friendliness and all round ability to do everything they can for you was faultless. Lovely people who were amazing at their jobs - a credit to eurocamp. The parc was small enugh to allow our eldest children a degree of freedom (10 yrs and 8yrs) but the campsite supermarket was very badly stocked and the restaurant appallingly overpriced. However, the nearest large supermarket is only a 5 mins drive away. . the pool area was good and the no shoe rule actually very helpful! a problem that we encountered however was that there was a tendency for our sunbeds to be moved (whilst sitting on them) so that others could place theirs in the spot they wanted - regardless of the fact that we were already there. This happened on 4 occasions and unfortunately it was the french nationality who felt they could do this - and as they pointed out to us it was their country after all! two of the lifeguards however would try and help. My children encountered a similar problem in the the playarea - there were some very arrogant french teenagers constantly hanging around the childrens play equipment and would not move when asked - they were actually very threatening and our 10 year old child got punched twice for simply asking them to move away from the slide. . the noise that came from the neighbouring campsites at night went beyond acceptable - it was impossible to sit outside our accommodation and have a conversation some nights as they music was so loud ! and despite the 'quiet' rule between 11pm and 7am, the neighbouring campsite's entertainment did not adhere to this!. on a positive note, the onsite boulangerie baked throughout the day and there was always fresh croissants and bread available, right up until 7pm. The snack bar was reasonably priced and catered for all tastes with a large choice of hot snacks. The pools were maintained to a high standard and were always very clean, as was the site in general. Whilst I have only given the parc a rating of 5, this is due to the reasons highlighted. We have previously stayed at la grand metarie in carnac and holiday green in frejus and even though both sites have their disadvantages too, we did not feel as comfortable here. This was again due to the reasons highlighted and certainly nothing to do with the couriers. We did not make tony and joan aware of the problems as it was a campsite issue and not a eurocamp one, but I am confident that if we had then they would have intervened and helped resolve the issues. That said, a holiday is what you make it and certain niggles can be ignored. Tamsin from Birmingham (11 August 2013)
It was out of the way a car was needed, the the food was appalling, the staff at the campsite was ignoring us when we ordered icecreams n drinks they were sniggering at us. Carole from Stoke On Trent (08 August 2013)
Great accommodation for family of 5. Lovely relaxed and friendly atmosphere although parc did get a bit loud some nights (but it was august) fantastic beach and pools Jay from London (07 August 2013)
Although the camp was clean and tidy we were disappointed with the area overall, canet plage was shabby and tired looking. On the camp itself the pool area was clean and tidy but very noisy and crowded although the pools were suitable for young children, there were never enough sun beds and not enough shade, being pregnant this was sometimes a problem when it was very hot. Also we were disappointed that all the entertainment and clubs were in french and there was nothing for english visitors. It was very noisy and night with music coming from ours and the neighbouring camps. By the end of the week we were tired and needing some peace and quiet. Overall we would not recommend this park because the general area was not interesting or characterful, unless we drove for an hour into the pyrenees, and there were no activities or entertainment in english. Overall not the best holiday we have ever had by any means. Jennifer from Ashford Kent (07 August 2013)
Relaxing and great fun. Jo from Godalming (07 August 2013)
We had a fantastic holiday. The couriers tony & joan really were exceptional. Aidan from Grays Essex (03 August 2013)
Very quite and clean location, staff out every day tidying up. nice site, although little to do if you enjoy eating out, you need to drive to nearest village - town, there is a local bus service, times are limited. Beach location is about a 5 minute walk from the site and a very nice beach, cleaned every day and monitored by life guards. great little fruit and veg shop next door which also sells local wines. Cris from Durham,Uk (03 August 2013)
Great two weeks, wonderful weather, fantastic eurocamp hosts. Only let down was that the pools were not large enough for the number of people.. far too overcrowded! Louise from Kent (28 Jul 2013)
A great parc in a good location. Excellent cycles routes and lovely clean beaches with clear blue waters. Parc staff were very helpful and friendly. Simon from East Grinstead (27 Jul 2013)
Disappointed with the park entertainment - no live music or regional dance/music etc - all entertainment was aimed at young kids or karaoke Richard from Chelmsford (27 Jul 2013)
Great holiday parc, accommodation was superb and so clean. Briege from Omagh (25 Jul 2013)
Positives;. 10 minute walk to fairly quiet beach. . all working at site were very helpful. Negatives;. beach slopes quickly so if not a swimmer may not enjoy. Paul from Torreilles (21 Jul 2013)
We had a really lovely time at this parc. Welcomed on arrival by tony who led us to a spotless mobile. The site is small, and consequently amenities were not quite as good as what we have previously been used to. The on site shop had basics, anything more required a trip to the local supermarkets. The on site boulangerie and pizzeria were excellent. The pool area was small, and definitely not enough loungers for the number of people. A short walk to a beautiful beach (stony at the waters edge). Catherine from Moira (20 Jul 2013)
Overall a very enjoyable holiday at a friendly camp site. Sarah from Kent (19 Jul 2013)
This is a small compact site, this has something Patrick (16 Jul 2013)
Just what we needed this year. Helen from Leyland (12 Jul 2013)
My family had a great holiday. Our son was unwell for the first week so we were based around the caravan and my 2 older children enrolled in the kids club. This was great and pitched really well for the 10 and 9 year old. The caravan was clean ( though an electric kettle would be more preferable to that which is on offer). the omly downside is the fact that the site is quite isolated therefore a car is definitely required and the adjacent park next door would prevent me from returning. Paula from Belfast (11 Jul 2013)
This is a great site with activities to do for all ages. the accommodation is clean and spacious both inside and out. I would like you to know that the eurocamp couriers tony and joan are outstanding at what they do. they deserve commendation at the highest level. they were helpful, kind, and went out of their way to please, great chat and just lovely. you need to acknowledge this really. we have been with eurocamp for years and tony and joan have been the best. Melanie from Lisburn (10 Jul 2013)
Parc facilities are very good. The couriers tony and joan were very helpful, freindly and attentive. Confirmed Holidaymaker (07 Jul 2013)
We enjoyed our holiday. Ian from Taunton (28 Jun 2013)
Our holiday this year included visits to 4 sites. Unfortunately we were unable to go to luz st saveur in the pyrenees due to flooding. The alternative we were allocated at the last minute was really too far from where we wanted to be so that was quite disappointing. We appreciate that his type of event is out with eurocamp's control but we really didn't receive the best of advice at the time. . otherwise everything was fine. Robert from Inverness (26 Jun 2013)
Very enjoyable holiday. Good combination of beach and pool with shops and restaurants on site or within walking distance. Mature site with lots of tree cover and not too busy in early june. Eurocamp couriers excellent. Corin from London (23 Jun 2013)
As we have always found, the eurocamp staff could not be more friendly or helpful. The area of languedoc & roussillon is lovely but would not choose that camp again. Although we were there just before peak season there was no evening entertainment on camp. This is outwith control of eurocamp but would have made a good holiday a great holiday. Paul (20 Jun 2013)
Lovely park . . tony and joan the eurocamp rep's were excellent . . great family venue Sarah from Derbyshire (14 Jun 2013)
A quiet picturesque park with lots of facilities. Tony and joan the couriers were amazing both this time and two years ago. I am so impressed I am hoping to return this september! Terry from Aylesbury (11 Jun 2013)
