Lovely park in a beautiful region of france. Fabulous scenery
Andrew from Daventry (12 September 2015)

Good all facilities
Customer 3 from Leigh (09 September 2015)

The parc was well run, clean and the surrounding area is stunning. the couriers george and gina were perfect for the job: always available, knowledgeable, helpful etc.
Rob from Welwyn Garden City (31 August 2015)

Absolutely stunning region of france between the cevennes national park and the ardeche. We had an amazing time which was due to a) great weather b) relaxed, friendly, pretty and well-kept site c) fantastic couriers (george and gina - a real credit to eurocamp and you'd do well to keep them on next year!). d) lovely mobile home (2 bed/2 bath vista plus).
Claire from Worcester Park (29 August 2015)

Fantastic site and facilities. Reps were great and informative and all the staff were outstanding. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you.
Sally (29 August 2015)

We had a great holiday in the ardeche. The parc has great swimming pools and restaurant all set in a stunning valley. the eurocamp couriers were fantastic and so helpful. all in all superb!
Christopher (24 August 2015)

A fantastic parc with great staff and facilities - george, our courier, is the best we have come across in 12 years with eurocamp
Ruth from Aylesbury (23 August 2015)

Lovely site although steep pitches and facilities on the other side of the road didn't really suit us as it's not what we're used to with this kind of holiday so not our best holiday but not our worst either. Couriers were fantastic, v knowledgable and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.
Suzanne from Hertfordshire (22 August 2015)

Beautiful location, very clean campsite and mobile home. loved it so much we have already booked to go back in 2016!
Caroline from Tunbridge Wells, Kent (22 August 2015)

Fantastic site with great facilities. We will definitely be going back.
Sarah from Harrogate (22 August 2015)

My wife and I and 3 kids (13,10 + 5) had a brilliant 2 weeks at les ranchisses. The camp is in a beautiful area and our accomodation had great views across the hills. The facilities are excellent - pools, shop, gym, spa, kayaks - and everything is clean and tidy. If there is a negative it is that at times the pools got very busy. A great holiday was made even better by george and gina, the couriers. We rarely 'needed' them but they were always visible and accessible around the site. They knew the area well, were always happy to chat and it was obvious that they just wanted to make sure you had a good time.
Martin from Formby (18 August 2015)

Wonderful unspoilt area of france, hot weather, beautiful scenery and lots of pretty villages to visit, rivers to paddle and swim in. good inexpensive food and cheap wine. also george and gina the couriers were fabulous.
Alison from Preston (17 August 2015)

We had a wonderful holiday. very high quality parc. eurocamp and parc staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. countryside and local towns beautiful. we aslo enjoyed the fact that the entertainment was very french.
Peter from Ash, Surrey (07 August 2015)

Having holidayed on campsites in france for the last 10 years, this is by far our favourite campsite. not only is it set in the most stunning location but it has great facilities that kept us and our children, aged 11 and 9, entertained. Our eurocamp mobile was set over the road from the main facilities on a terraced hillside which meant that we had beautiful views and were away from the main hustle and bustle if campsite life. however all the facilities were only a 5. Minute walk away. george and gina, the reps, were fab and we loved george's regular weather updates and the fact they always had time for a natter. We had superb weather, which allowed us to get out and about. we loved canoeing down the ardeche and the velorail was also another highlight. we can't wait to return after a fabulous holiday.
Dave (07 August 2015)

Great site, high class facilities. Super courier.
Richard from Harrow (30 July 2015)

Lee (27 July 2015)

Fantastic holiday on a superb site in a beautiful area.
John from Mauchline (19 July 2015)

This was our first stay in the ardeche and find ourselves fortunate to have discovered such an excellent site. The accomodation was extremely clean and comfortable and it was a welcome change to have a courier, george who along with his wife ensured that this was the case. Without being intrusive they were always available to offer advice and assistance if needed.
Russell from Swansea (12 July 2015)

An excellent holiday & have booked again for next year. The site has changed incredibly over the years for the better. It is clean with fantastic staff who are friendly, helpful. The couriers george & gina are a double act & fantastic people. I would recommend it.
Patricia from Macclesfield (28 June 2015)

Beautiful area, lots to see and do. Parc has very good facilities.
Karen from Plymouth (25 June 2015)

This was a really relaxing holiday.
Customer 22 from Kingston-Upon-Thames (22 June 2015)

A very warm welcome by the reps at this campsite. Lovely scenery surrounding the site. Excellent swimming complex and gym all included in the price. Lovely restaurant.
Steve from Near Maidstone, Kent (21 June 2015)

Cannot praise your couriers highly enough, they handled any requests with kindness and humour, weather was wonderful as well!
Sandra from Ormskirk (14 June 2015)

Les ranchisses is an excellent site with plenty going on, an excellent restaurant with friendly staff, situated in a very picturesque area. I'm not sure if i'm supposed to mention the other sites we stayed on. We had varying experiences on those, some good, some not so good.
Jenny from Derby (12 June 2015)

Excellent holiday. Well equipped campsite and outstanding restaurant. We had very good weather and I suspect this region has consistently good weather in the summer. Plenty of interesting places to visit
Michael from Oldham (11 June 2015)

Our first eurocamp holiday and we absolutely loved it. Everything went so smoothly, it was great.
Gemma from Cheshire (30 May 2015)

We found it a surprise and a shame that the eurocamp mobiles were sited over the road from the site! there were no facilities on our side of the road..strange!
Jude from Sussex (30 May 2015)

Staff and accommodation very good. We were expecting to see animals, according to the brochure, but maybe we were too early in the season. As with most of the eurocamp accommodation there was no free wifi, as we need to stay on line for free, as is provided in so many other places we have stayed in around the world.
Barry from Uckfield East Sussex (22 May 2015)

Richard from Shernorne (19 May 2015)

What a beautiful place! we can't wait to come back
John from Ulverston (14 May 2015)

A return to our favourite sites. Excellent couriers and special request catered for :-)
Tom from Wymondham (06 May 2015)

We had an excellent holiday in this parc and would recommend it to other eurocampers with one reservation - it's on a very steep hill! the reception staff were superb but it was the eurocamp couriers who really made our holiday for us. They were far above the excellent standard of their younger peers and their mature life skills made them an instant hit with us. We give them an enthusiastic 12/10! . set in a very beautiful area of the ardeche region this parc is well situated to offer both scenic and historic outings. We were spoiled for places to go and things to do. . well done eurocamp!
Michael from Harrogate (25 September 2014)

Great site in a wonderful location. Excellent accommodation (vista plus). only problem was the torrential storms for three days!
Andrew from Leicester (21 September 2014)

Our overall experience at les marais de chambord and les ranchisses was very good. We were impressed by the parc at berny riviere, but had reservations about the two bedroom classic plus mobile we had there - the bedrooms were far too cramped.
Roland from Uxbridge (17 September 2014)

It was a a brilliant holiday, lots to do, friendly people, fantastic restaurant and clean comfortable accommodation what more could you ask for
Lorraine from Dover (14 September 2014)

Beautifull site , good facilities and restaurant. Area interesting to visit but difficult to find out what was available to do and see apart from the camp site gide which was a good starting point.
Susan from Stockport (09 September 2014)

Very clean and comfortable mobile home. the couriers were kind and helpful. a good site with good facilities.
Amy from Worcestershire (09 September 2014)

Absolutely lovely campsite and facilities located in a scenic spot in the ardeche surrounded by small medieval villages and gorges
Customer 39 from Richmond/Twickenham (07 September 2014)

Lovely site in a great area. George and genia great, will lots of info on local area and things to do.
Christine from Brighton (31 August 2014)

Situation of eurocamp mobiles very good. Site facilities good. Site only a few minutes drive from local town.
Michael from Sheffield (30 August 2014)

A fantastic holiday on an excellent parc in a beautiful location.
Ian from Solihull (30 August 2014)

Our 3rd stay at les ranchisses, a beautiful, well run parc. The staff are friendly + helpful. George, our eurocamp courier was great!
Nicholas from Horsham (26 August 2014)

Very good parc in a fantastic location. Locally there are a lot of leasure activities outside the parc if you have transport.
Bernard from London (24 August 2014)

Great swimming facilities and good to have an adult spa too.
Kate from Wokingham (17 August 2014)

We have been to france eight times (brittany, vendee, dordogne and languedoc) and I think this is my favourite site, it's a beautiful parc. I like the fact that the eurocamp caravans are sited on the opposite side to the main camp - spacious and private pitches, really well set out, with a view over the lush green hillside, and sun all day. lovely area, try balazuc and vogue nearby for pretty villages with river beaches. would definitely recommend a canoe trip down the ardeche - we took disposable waterproof cameras along. largentiere is a beautiful town and you can walk from the campsite in about 20 minutes. we were there first two weeks in august and had quite a few hazy days, and the odd spectacular storm at night, but weather mainly lovely. would highly recommend.
Elizabeth from Yorkshire (16 August 2014)

We had a really good time. The only downside was that we felt the rooms were a little small and there was a hilly walk back to the accommodation - for my father who is 76, this was a bit of an effort. Thank you
Paul from Thame (13 August 2014)

Marvellous site. unfortunately, no attempt appeared to have been made to place us adjacent to relatives' site, despite specific early request to do so.
Richard from Winchester (12 August 2014)

Fantastic holiday, site had excellent facilities and was in a beautiful area of france. Highly recommend.
Jayne from Sandbach (05 August 2014)

Beautiful area although very mountainous and hilly. Takes a lot of driving to get to places and the roads are twisty and the french drivers are impatient. Camp is nice and the courier fantastic. Lovely view from our mobile and was quiet and the accommodation was nice and clean and modern. The only negative was that parking was not great for my car with the back of my car having to stick out into the road which was concerning if you have an expensive car.
Tudur from Caernarfon (02 August 2014)

We had a great time at les ranchisses . great pool - restaurant was much better than at any campsite we had been to so far and enjoyed the spa and the pool area . george and gina were very welcoming and equally important knowledgable on the area . enjoyed the following the crocodile farm , canoeing on the ardeche and at pont d'arc - river swimming at labaume and the nearby town of largentiere .hope to return. Mary and peter n ireland . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Mary from Belfast (31 July 2014)

Disappointing weather for july although the campsite was lovely and the kids loved all the pools and on site facilities. Especially good that the kids could canoe at the park in a safe environment and they were spoilt for choice when it came to activities.
Claire from Newbury (29 July 2014)

A really nice, clean camp site with lots of things to do. Brilliant pool complex. Accommodation is on terraces so you are never cramped in together with other holidaymakers. Entertainment always stopped promptly at 11.00 but is far enough away to not be intrusive. Canoes are a good idea for the kids and went down well. Nice walk along the muletrain path to largentiere but a shame there are no mules to give you a lift back.
Allan from Ilkeston. (28 July 2014)

The separation between the activity site and the accommodation site didn't work as well for our age children (8, 10 and 13 years) as other sites we have used in the past. it didn't afford the same freedom and flexibility. the children were not impressed with the waterslides which they found very basic compared to other parcs and the pool didn't hold their attention for very long. the site wasn't suitable for cycling. they spent most of their time in the football area which was a shame as we had to keep going to check up on them there which wasn't very relaxing. I would recommend it for either very young children - although the terraced slopes would be problematic or older teenagers who seemed to dominate the football pitch area.
Rowena (26 July 2014)

This campsite has a 'resort' feel which will suit most but not everyone; it has a buzz about it and is popular with teenagers and young families. Accommodation is variable and much depends where you are located. The site has a trump card, however - a splendid restaurant which offers excellent local cuisine at a reasonable price, in lovely surroundings. (the eurocamp description doesn't make enough of
Nick from Somerset (26 July 2014)

Superb holiday holiday park in a beautiful location. Excellent facilities suitable for all ages including a skate park. The restaurant has a good menu and excellent service. Our couriers were welcoming and quick to respond to anything we needed. We will be coming back!
Victoria from Newport (26 July 2014)

A very relaxing area - we were very pleased with the parc and particularly enjoyed walking to the nearby village (largentiere) which was beautiful. Also kayaking down the ardeche gorges (which was very good value for money).
Suzanne from Norwich (25 July 2014)

We had a wonderful family holiday
Amanda from Hull/Zurich (23 July 2014)

Great holiday in the ardeche. Campsite was right size for us and we we glad to be the other side of the road as quieter as the evening entertainment is loud. Downside is that the children cannot have as much independence as there weren't the areas to go off and play near to the mobile home like you get at some campsites. Pitch was very small and there was no place to park our car ( only a minor inconvenience). very steep climb to mobile home so possibly not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. . . however, excellent pool complex and a grown up spa / pool area area. Entertainment most nights, superb restaurant with really friendly staff. Play area, skate park, tennis etc so enough to do. Again a only small frustration but I booked this park for the availability of canoes thinking that we were either on a lake or by a river. There is possibility to canoe but the area is tiny. there is a company on site certain times of the week who organise canoe trips to the ardeche. We booked and it was a great day out. Well organised ( children have to 7+ and able to swim) about €80 euros for the short course. All in all a good two weeks but I would probably try a campsite on the ardeche for the access to canoes next time due to ages of my children.
Elaine from Badingham (19 July 2014)

We had an excellent 2 week stay. the park is probably the nicest one we have ever stayed at - small enough to feel safe and not overrun but with all the facilities you need. My daughter loved going off for the bread in the morning. we loved the river, the lively atmosphere in the bar in the evening and the food at the auberge. the view from our eurocamp emplacement on the hill was beautiful - you would hardly know there was a whole campsite beneath you - yet everything was within 5 minutes walk. . . the pool did get a bit crowded in the afternoons but the adult's only pool was wonderful. my daughter said that the kids club was mainly french and dutch speaking children - but we live in belgium and stayed outside of uk holidays. the staff spoke all 3 languages though and put the children in to groups. they spent most of the time working towards the friday night kids show though. . . george and gina were fabulous - checked by most days to see how things were going and were really handy with recommendations of places to visit and local restaurants. last but not least - we had one of the new vista plus - 2 bed/2 bath mobiles. it was fantastic - proper storage space for everything and loads of room inside and out. huge fridge freezer, big bathrooms, tv monitor and dvd player. I am so glad I booked early as it really made a difference having the extra level of comfort. wifi worked perfectly - though cost 32 euros for 2 weeks - but was so good my daughter streamed her tv shows without any problem. . there was lots to see and do in the area - some gorgeous villages of which la beaume was my favourite. the thursday market in vallon was very good. Overall it was a fabulous holiday - and in an inexpensive part of france. we will definitely be back.
Joanna from Brussels (19 July 2014)

A great region to visit. Plenty to do, we could have done with more time to see everything in more detail. A relaxing holiday but also plenty to explore and have an adventure.
Richard from Northampton (16 July 2014)

Beautiful parc, lovely clean accomodation and excellent couriers (thank you george).
Simon (13 July 2014)

Very enjoyable
Peter (30 June 2014)

Beautiful location. Very clean site.
Janice from London (28 June 2014)

Best food we have ever had on a camp site in france! overall good.
Mick from Billingshurst, West Sussex (27 June 2014)

Beautiful park, problem with ant infestation in accommodation that was never resolved. Couriers rude, dismissive of any problems and very unwelcoming!!! will definitely return to the park but possibly not with eurocamp.
Emma from Hertford (27 June 2014)

A lovely parc, landscaped and with good facilities. very friendly and helpful eurocamp couriers for whom nothing was too much trouble. we thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks there, would recommend it and stay there again ourselves. our mobile home would have benefited from more cupboard space in lounge because anyone using it as a bedroom had no clothes storage space but, apart from that, the accommodation was roomy and enjoyable.
John from Bristol (25 June 2014)

We probably enjoyed the dordogne part of the holiday slightly more than ardeche because to our surprise dordogne was quieter. but both campsites and regions were great . having been to dordogne before we felt we probably needed longer to explore ardeche than we gave ourselves.
John from Southampton (24 June 2014)

A very pleasant well laid out site, some road noise but generally not that intrusive. Easy access to good walking routes and the town. Plenty to do in the area.
Terry from Carmarthen (21 June 2014)

We broke down in central france on our way south but this did not spoil an excellent holiday. It's some years since we last did a eurocamp holiday when the children were younger and after this welcome experience we've already decided that we'll be booking again next year.
Richard from Redditch, Worcestershire (17 June 2014)

An excellent campsite with amazing views.a well looked after site with friendly staff always helpful. Very clean site, the owner constantly checking. Couriers george & gina, a fantastic couple with a wealth of experience & very attentive. Faultless!!
Maurice from Macclesfield (31 May 2014)

One of the best we have stayed on. Only wish it could have been longer
Customer 72 from Hull, Uk (29 May 2014)

Wonderful first holiday for our 4 month old.
Helen from Aberdeen (21 May 2014)

Lovely campsite, good surroundings and plenty to visit. Weather good too! accommodation on terrace side of the campsite so away from all activities - good if u want a relatively quiet and relaxed atmosphere but not far if u want to join in the fun. Very steep slopes to accommodation so not suitable for disabled or very young children.
Karen from Plymouth (07 May 2014)

Very kind and helpful couriers, huge swimming pools, canoe on-site whenever you want, gastronomic restaurant on-site, many cute villages to visit around the park :-) . we will come back!
Bruno from Paris (27 April 2014)

A very nice site in a beautiful location.
Matthew from Leamington Spa (21 September 2013)

Excellent site amd well maintained
Christine from Maidstone (21 September 2013)

We loved coming back to this site, laid out fantastically for us. Relaxing, good facilities, perfect pitch, good location.
Richard from Norfolk (20 September 2013)

Lovely caravan, although end of season blues and some items of equipment missing. We got courier to replace hairdryer and broken barbecue tongs but other items of kitchen equipment missing as was broom to sweep out caravan. Campsite good but starting to run things down as season close to ending, particularly the shop. Plenty to do in the area, although some of the gorge side and mountain roads a bit scary.
Roger from March, Cambridgeshire (14 September 2013)

A delightful site hidden in a gorge but with a splendid poole complex and sun deck. Great facilites all round
John from Surrey (12 September 2013)

The courier didn't come round to see how we had settled in during our week. we had a very bad thunderstorm one night and thought he would have come round the day after to check on us all, which he didn't. we had no welcome back wine on arrival, we have been holidaying with keycamp for a few years now and usually get one. Lovely clean parc and facilities particularly the restaurant.
Susan (12 September 2013)

First time with keycamp having last had a holiday like this since eurocamp in 1992. Things have moved on and we were impressed with keycamp and v impressed with les franchises. Admin was helpful.
Barry from Bridgend (31 August 2013)

Nice parc, quiet at night which was fantastic (no music after 2300), good restaurant and small supermarket. however a little disappointed that there were no lifeguards on duty in the pool area.
Charles from Southampton (30 August 2013)

An excellent holiday and a wonderful location weather great
George (25 August 2013)

Potentially a great holiday totally spoiled by lack of sun beds/unberellas to enjoy the pools.
Rob from Nelson (21 August 2013)

We had a fantastic 13 days at the parc. I would argue that it is a bettter site than the website/brochure shows. Plenty to do in the area and canyoning was a particular favourite with our children. Used the gym regularly too, although it was a shame it was a gym without a running machine. Facilities were great played lots of tennis, table tennis and the small lake with the canoes was a particular hit with our 13 and 10 year old.
Stuart from Esher (20 August 2013)

We had a lovely time. it is some years since we last had a keycamp holiday and our girls aged 13,15,17 loved the campsite. the adult pool, spa and restaurant are excellent. lovely small campsite and an easy beautiful walk on the ridge top walk into the town. beautiful medieval town. campsite beautifully sited near national park rather than amongst all the other campsites near the pont d'arc.
Jenny from Great Dunmow (18 August 2013)

A fantastic site in a truly wonderful settings with lots to do and see in the ardeche.
Sarah from Nuneaton (10 August 2013)

A great site to explore the remote aspects of rural france, especially by bike or on the water. Local site staff made you feel very welcome, and there are lots of activeties on site if you don't want to travel too far.
Alistair from Leven (13 Jul 2013)

Accommodation was spotless, great courier
Sue from Harpenden (12 Jul 2013)

A great campsite. We've been all over france and this one of the best we've been to. Our kids are 10 and 14 years old and the campsite was probably geared towards younger kids. The pool complex was great, and the adult area was a great idea. The road that bi-sects the camp caused us no issues. There is a wee underpass and its actually quite a nice feature. The take away restaurant on the site is very good. The on site shop is a bit smaller than we're used too and was very expensive. In general the area is quite remote but there is plenty to do for active types. I would definitely recommend this site and I would go back there.
Alison from East Kilbride (07 Jul 2013)

Great parc with brilliant facilities, very relaxing and stress free. Great family holiday!
Richard from Romsey (06 Jul 2013)

Edna (05 Jul 2013)

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
N J from Derby (28 Jun 2013)

Beautiful parc with stunning views, nice and relaxing start to the holiday.
Kirk from Cheltenham (19 Jun 2013)

Overall we enjoyed this site for lots of reasons.
Steve from Staplehurst (09 Jun 2013)

The weather ruined this break for us along with the camp site building works going on behind us. Lovely area but would suggest to people not to start going here until high season.
Richard from Chippenhm (02 Jun 2013)

Absolutely lovely site, very clean and friendly staff.
Sheila from Warrington (01 Jun 2013)

Our second visit to the parc. It was as well run and in excellent condition as last time. A great location.
Karen And David from Tenterden (26 May 2013)

Once again thank you keycamp for nice holiday. this was our 3rd year at this site and we felt this time it was not quite up to usual standards. it would have been nice to have had pitch strimmed at least once whilst we were on site. also approach to site where older caravans have been placed for staff rather looked like a gypsy site. but overall nice site and they ought not let their standards slip
Julie (24 May 2013)

The camp site is very hilly, would not recommend for older people with walking problems and young children, accommodations are situated on slops with no real fencing I was worried my 2yr old could slip and fall 5 or 6 feet, even more in some places! so could not let him play outside with out constant supervision, especially when wet!! we were not aware of any of this when we booked. Very disappointed about this. Also the shop and all facilities are on the other side of the park, very un-convenient!! we would not of booked this park if we had known all this, and we did research before we book and came across none of it. And as for largentiere its self, also disappointing, not beautiful, derelict is the word for it. Its does have lovely mountainous views and river but that's about it.
Laura from Bromley (18 May 2013)

Amazing, what a surprise for the money. the parc far exceeded our expectations and the restaurant was fantastic, we ate there 4 times in a week. . great
Nicole from Paris (10 May 2013)

This location was chosen because of its proximity to the beautiful coastline and the midi weather. Unfortunately the weather was mixed!. despite this we managed a reasonably good time when the sun shone. France is expensive as the £ is so poor against the €.
