Been to the site before and had a great time once again.
Nick from Breaston Derby (05 September 2015)

A great family stay at le soliel ideal for the whole family. The parc was very good, well maintained and amenities accessible.
Dan from Lincoln (05 September 2015)

Another fantastic holiday
Lisa from Burscough (31 August 2015)

Disappointed we didn't have a decking. The area with the table and chairs was very dry, dusty and muddy especially when wet. Eurocamp staff seemed disinterested and the handover was very fast, probably so we couldn't enquire about our missing decking! there was no welcome pack and the older children's club wasn't running as it should have been. We are still waiting for the promised visit from the younger children's club organisers! we discovered a pile of identical folders in the eurocamp reception but were told that we were not allowed to take them to read up information about the area. Apparently they "don't do that any more". very unusual. the parc was delightful. Superb pools and very clean. For the first time in 5 years of holidaying with eurocamp/keycamp we felt let down. We were told but one rep that eurocamp had been taken over by another company. I don't know if it's true or not, but would perhaps explain the attitude of the staff.
Darren from Folkestone (30 August 2015)

Shame only 1 proper activity at base club canyoning all the rest of week just brunch.that is not an activity club for teenagers as advertised.
Sarah (30 August 2015)

Despite its shortcomings as a parc and the poor service we received from the eurocamp representatives, we felt the parc was a very safe and secure environment for our young child to play and explore.
Ian (30 August 2015)

We had a great holiday at la soleil. The weather was fabulous. Our caravan was old and tired, and I understand these are being replaced in time for next season, however it didn't really spoil our holiday as we were out most of the time. The noise from the luna park is loud and kept us awake the first few nights, but we then got used to it and it didn't seem as bad! the site is great, the pool is gorgeous, so lovely to have a heated pool! when staying in a caravan it is great to be able to use the site showers and toilet blocks and these were great, always clean, never had to queue and lots of room. Only criticism of the site is that things are a bit spread out, and it would be once to be able to have a drink next to the pool while watching the kids. The beach bar is expensive, but eh supermarket was great and reasonably priced. Such a shame they enforce the 'speedos' rule, but the pool is so clean, and I guess this is why! outside of the site the area is beautiful with lots of interesting places to go and visit and lots of activities for adults and kids. Argeles is busy, but wonderful with lots of restaurants, especially at the port which is amazingly handsome! the access to the beach from the site is wonderful and really made our holiday complete.
Helen from Epsom (30 August 2015)

We have been on eurocamp holidays for 5 years or so and always come back. After this year, its unlikely we will again. The campsite itself was fine - clean, great pool, good location, but the eurocamp elements were dreadful. The caravan was tired, and smelt of old, damp socks. It was on a plot that you couldn`t swing a cat in and was built on dried mud and clay. You could hear everything going on in the adjacent caravans - it felt like a battery holiday. There was no welcome pack and the kids club, which was the main reason we went, was truly awful - our kids normally love kids club and this year they hated it. All the kids had been put together, despite the group being overscribed (our kids only lasted 2 days, but both days other children were turned away so there was plenty of demand), they were cooped up in a tiny space at the back of a car park with no room to run around and play despite the very hot weather, and they just sat in the tent for 2 hours bored. All in all, the campsite was ok if you want a beach holiday but we would strongly recommend people to book direct with them - going through eurocamp was expensive and a waste of money.
Richard from Cambridge (29 August 2015)

Lovely family holiday camp with everything you need at an easy reach. Pool and beach fantastic.
Ivi from London (29 August 2015)

Wish we'd stay even longer than two weeks!!
Samia from Worcester Park (28 August 2015)

Very good
Louise from Powys (28 August 2015)

Lovely parc so close to the beach only thing that let it down was the sound from luna parc!
Sarah from Essex (28 August 2015)

Pool is fantastic but british men don't want to be forced to wear skin tight trunks/speedos . the pool attendants where standing in the gate stopping men who had bermuda type shorts on !! tents where great but anton is rubbish , we was not given our welcome packs and essential packs till the night before we where leaving , even after leaving 2 notes for anton in reception
Karen (25 August 2015)

The site was lovely and the accommodation was amazing. The pools were very well kept, but the main one was a little odd being 1.8 metres the whole way across- hence the side was always very busy. The placing of the site right beside the med sea, though, was perfect.
Nick from Bedford (24 August 2015)

Generally pleasing but little things could make a big difference.
G. from Westgate On Sea (23 August 2015)

We had a great holiday although the park was very busy, the eurocamp team were not very helpful about the surrounding area
Linzi (22 August 2015)

Great location, heated pools and lots of activities to do on the park and in the area. Main downside was that there was no safe walking route or cycle path to the beach or local town. the road was very busy on exiting the park and there were cars parked all down it meaning that pedestrians and cyclists were sharing a small space with the cars. It would be easy to create a cycle path across the adjacent field or stop the cars parking along that road.
Viv (22 August 2015)

Large park, facilities more for older children. You can hear the local theme park at night, which can get quite loud. Great pool area, main pool very deep with no shallow area.
Nicoka from Argeles Sur Mer (22 August 2015)

Overall a good holiday but the site was lacking in bars/catering facilities for families wanting to spend time together with children aged 8 - 14.
Sharron from Harrogate (22 August 2015)

Loved this holiday and location so much!
Stephanie (22 August 2015)

The parc is excellent.we didn;t quite get the weather we were hoping for though. The area of argeles sur mer has over 60 campsites in it which makes it incredibly busy and causes queues whenever you leave the campsite and want to go near the centre of town or the main supermarket and petrol station. We visited the biggest local attraction town of collioure but there was nowhere to park even though we were there at 10am because so many people desend on the town in summer, we revisited even earlier later in the holiday and it was well worth the effort but its so busy. The seaside section of argeles sur mer is also ridiculously busy and very touristy, more like blackpool than the france we usually visit. I'm glad we went to the area but wouldn't return there again.
Linda from Sevenoaks (20 August 2015)

We had a good time overall considering our main reason for choosing such a holiday was to enable our 14 and 15 year old children to do teenage stuff in a safe environment.
Sally (20 August 2015)

Fabulous parc with great onsite entertainment and activities for teenagers. Beautiful beach and lots of fantastic places to visit nearby.
Sasha from London (19 August 2015)

This is a big camp as they say with an excellent pool complex. However the accommodation is the issue. The static caravans are simply too closely packed together. People walking inside the caravans next door can be clearly heard when you are in your own caravan. the noise from the nearby theme parks and the onsite entertainment is extremely noisy and goes on very late. The beach is fine and close by. the shop is ok and as you would expect expensive. The restaurant has a decent take away service which gets very busy again as you would expect in the high season. we would not return as the accommodation is simply too close together. Having stayed at yelloh village le serignan plage in 2014 we would return there due to the accommodation and site facilities being better. The pool at le soleil is however better and we really enjoyed that so horses for courses really!
Charlotte from Plymouth (18 August 2015)

Great site very clean and tidy, lots for the kids to do. Caravan a bit basic and small indoor living area.
Jennifer (18 August 2015)

A great park with something for all the family. our daughters loved the eurocamp kids club, the pools and the beach. we loved the circuits classes run by the camp and the lovely runs along the pine forests up to argeles port. the take-away does fantastic pizzas and we had many chocolate crepes from the tabac!
Lucy from Derby (18 August 2015)

Great holiday! second time we have visited le soleil! great place with easy access to a beautiful beach! the local argeles is busy and relaxed with a fantastic atmosphere. . the eurocamp staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The accommodation was superb. First time we have had air conditioning and it proved incredibly effective in such warm temperatures.
Dave (17 August 2015)

This was the worst park we have ever been to and we will never return to it and 100% never recommend it to any one. Save your money and take your kids somewhere they can enjoy themselves and adults can chill out. This park will not give you this.
Lee from Haverhill (15 August 2015)

A lovely 2 weeks in a picturesque location
Beth from Birmingham (15 August 2015)

Great park for the kids and entertainment rep narik was excellent. Bunk beds or girls not do good and not as advertised.
Clive (14 August 2015)

Enjoyable stay
Lindsey from Ashford (13 August 2015)

Basic and fine. Nice park and facilities. Too many lectures: on the beach for digging, shoes and reserving sunbeds [some could, some couldn't], using pedaloes..seemed very extreme.
Charles (13 August 2015)

If you're used to and looking for a site that is well managed, with a good level of cleanliness and with helpful couriers then this site is not for you.
James from Shrewsbury (12 August 2015)

A little frustrating getting used to shops and bars closing on site. Seeing that we had two young children I didn't like having to keep the children off of the front play area of the accommodation due to dog mess. We have had friendlier couriers seemed harassed and too busy to talk.
Ryan from Southampton (11 August 2015)

This is a nice campsite, well maintained and clean, plenty of shower blocks which we used in preference to our caravan shower, and the pools are excellent (although like another reviewer I don't get the business about asking men to wear speedos which to me are infinitely worse than baggy shorts, and the policy seemed to be patchily enforced anyway. and why do eurocamp describe it as 'traditional' swimwear? to me that means the sort of thing captain webb wore to swim the channel, knitted long johns). also the beach is not remotely child-friendly, the golden 'sand' is largely grit and difficult to walk on, and when you get into the sea it quite quickly goes really deep and is pebbly and gritty. we weren't too bothered by the fairground noise beyond it being mildly irritating - especially because we had to sleep with windows closed because of the blinking mosquitoes - but that was probably a matter of fortunate location and if you were closer to it I imagine it could be a nightmare.
Gillian from Maidenhead (11 August 2015)

The actual campsite, le soleil, is lovely with direct access to a sandy beach, a pleasant swimming area, well stocked shop and handy take-away service. it is on the north side of argeles-sur-mer and it can take a while to drive to the port and colliure as argeles is a busy sea-side resort. it is just as quick to cycle. however the campsite's bicycle hire is not the best, they only had a small selection of children's bikes to hire when we went so we hired them from argeles. we chose this site mainly because of the base club for our teenage sons (16 and 13). what a mistake! we weren't visited by the base courier until 5 days into our holiday, activities were advertised on the board but times and venues were sometimes incorrect. if this had been managed properly our boys would have met a lot more young people and would have enjoyed their holiday more. we did have a lovely time despite the service (or lack of ) provided by eurocamp. we also found the couriers to be unhelpful, we didn't have a pack in our mobile home of the surrounding area/campsite timings which would have been immensely helpful at the beginning of the holiday. our emplacement was the worst i've ever stayed in, looking on to a wash block with graffiti. we asked to move but nobody got back to us .
Elen from Cardiff (10 August 2015)

Parc, weather, facilities on site absolutely perfect !. . issue with the accomodation, looking dated and old. Toilet cistern was broken when we took the caravan, didn't notice until the evening so it wasn't repaired until the monday.
Jake from Rugby (09 August 2015)

Lovely holiday , facilities were excellent and very reasonably priced.
Craig from Maidstone (09 August 2015)

A very nice place to holiday.
Peter (09 August 2015)

Overall a very enjoyable holiday - the parc was very nice, staff very helpful, all areas clean and tidy, excellent take away and shop. Swimming pool was also well maintained and managed - however the caravan was a little dirty and the eurocamp courier that we met was useless and wasn't able to answer simple questions about the park which was disappointing.
Karen from Bridgwater (04 August 2015)

Family of 2 adults and 3 & 5 year old daughters went on our first holiday abroad all together and le soleil was excellent, it was hot and sunny without being too much for the girls, the flight was 1 hrs 45 minutes from stansted to perpignan. The camp was brilliant and the swimming pool was outstanding, the freshwater was heated as well and the slides were fantastic and safe for both ages (i didn't even mind having to wear budgie smugglers - when in rome and all that). the beach was nice but a little stoney by the shore unless you was up by the lifeguards, nice and sandy there. There was 1 shop onsite which was a good little one with strange (french) opening times and 1 restaurant/takeaway also pretty good, but got a bit boring. The central beach wasn't far on the train-bus and a bit more choice down there, although everywhere seemed to do pizza.
Paul from Rainham, Essex (03 August 2015)

Lovely holiday nice clean park with great swimming pools that the kids loved.
Sara from London (02 August 2015)

This parc has as little privacy as I have ever experienced in a eurocamp holiday with the plants around each plot not being tall enough to provide any. Also noise from the nearby amusement parc kept us awake on a few nights.
Eugene from Barnsley (30 July 2015)

Thought the caravan coudl have been cleaner
Linda from Braintree (28 July 2015)

Had a great time
Michael from Cannock (28 July 2015)

We found the noise from the nearby fair ground too much. it started up around 21:00 and finished well after 1:00 in the morning. also we were not aware of the swimwear requirements for men at the pool and found the pool staff ridiculously strict on a number of issues, I was even questioned when I left the pool area to go to the toilet, and warned I was not allowed to reserve beds. the park was clean and pool area was lovely, but did not seem large enough to cope with the number of people wishing to use it. eurocamp staff were helpful with one incident.
Wilson from Leicester (25 July 2015)

Never been to france before and I would definitely go back. the south is lovely and the weather in july was fantastic. Beach is literally a 1 minute walk from the back of the site that we were on - le soleil - and was gorgeous!. argeles itself is also really nice and there is a port, again very nice.
Marie from Birmingham (25 July 2015)

Super holiday and parc
Sam (24 July 2015)

A very laid back and enjoyable holiday. swimming pools were fantastic and the beach was lovely. the couriers were very helpful.
Evelyn (22 July 2015)

Great holiday with fantastic weather! the parc was clean with a lovely pool complex and direct access to beach. The pool bar was good with evening entertainment suitable for all ages over the 9 nights. All the staff we came across were very friendly and helpful especially the night watchmen who helped us search for our teenagers who had apparently 'lost track of time' as they were having so much fun!! on a more negative note, whilst our mobile home was clean it was very small and the 2nd bedroom had no wardrobe or hanging space which didn't go down too well with our teenage daughter and her friend. Just one small shop on site which was not as good as some other sites we have stayed at. This wasn't a problem as we had a car but could be a challenge if no car was available. The restaurant did a great take-away service for everything on the menu, pizza, pasta, burgers..everything! so, overall a great relaxing holiday with something for everyone.
Paul from Nottingham (19 July 2015)

Lovely area with a private parc which is great for young children.
Claire from Belfast (18 July 2015)

Great circular pool to swim in
Confirmed Holidaymaker (16 July 2015)

The parc was excellent, great facilities and well organised. The only downside was the couriers who seems really disengaged and not interested.
Vivien from Aberdeen (16 July 2015)

We stayed in a tent in july with 2 adults and 2 teenage children. the campsite was very clean and the swimming pool was lovely, we hired bikes for a week which we felt was a must plenty of cycle routes, the beach's are lovely and beach bar although pricey is a nice excuse for a cold beer. my husband is a keen cyclist he he managed to hire a road bike and spend a few hours tackling the hills on the pyrennes he had a wonderful time. we also did aqualand recommend this I know it's expensive but we felt it was worth it, take a picnic!! the only negative was the noise from the nearby luna park it was loud and there is no ignoring it, it's a shame for this park as it is lovely having said that we had a wonderful holiday we would definately go back to this area again but probably wouldn't stay at le soiel again simply because of luna park.
Martine from Somerset (16 July 2015)

Fab parc with everything onsite or nearby
Alison from France (15 July 2015)

Fantastic park, in a great location.
Caroline from Southampton (11 July 2015)

The euro camp couriers were fantastic. . phil and bronie and allison were a1. . pool was brill. .
Customer 57 from Newry (07 July 2015)

The overall holiday was very good parc facilities and surrounding area excellent . we have used the parc before but not eurocamp at this parc and doubtful we will again.
David from Norwich (06 July 2015)

It was great but there was a family who stayed up till 2am outside on their porch, keeping us awake until I went out and told them to be quieter please. Also, there was confusion over who were our couriers. Other than that, great.
Robin from St Leonards On Sea (06 July 2015)

If you love ants and cramped spaces then this is the accommodation for you. The swimming pool and parks are excellent and the location is wonderful, just not our cup of tea.
Justin (04 July 2015)

Swimming complex very good pitch very small a problem to park the car
Janet from Rugby (01 July 2015)

Excellent eurocamp we stayed in june for 2 weeks with 6year old and 4 year old. Kids loved the pool and slides would book again. Angela belfast
Angela from Belfast (28 June 2015)

Loved our holiday. location and parc brilliant.
Gillian from Worthing (28 June 2015)

This site was perfect for our 4 and 2 year olds. It was so family friendly and the eurocamp couriers went out of their way to make us feel welcome and spend time with the kids. They were lso super helpful with any issues with our booking and when one of my son's bikes needed fixing, they fixed it for him! great location, so nice to have direct access to the beach, swimming pool was brilliant, the bar next to the play area meant we could sit with a cold drink while the kids played and the area itself is beautiful with lots to do.
Laura (27 June 2015)

The area is beautiful and we were able to visit local places and take an amazing trip high into the pyrennes using public transport. However we had to resource all the bus and train info ourselves and despite telling eurocamp that we would be without a car noone at the campsite seemed to know were local bus stops, timetables or even the location of the station were.the tourist information office in argeles was helpful for this. The brochure was also a bit misleading about distances, which were much further than advertised. However people locally were very friendly and helpful, there is quite a relaxed feel to the area and it was lovely to spend long evenings with local families strolling around argeles having late meals and enjoying the relatively cool evenings. The tourist road train was wonderful and we bought a 3 day pass and could hop on and off at will. Coming back to a cool caravan and a dip in the large deep pool after a hot day sightseeing before going out for a catalan meal was great.
Heather from Kent (25 June 2015)

Great place for young children. This is a very large park though so I expect it would be too busy in the summer holidays. June was a great time to visit.
Customer 66 from Huntingdon (25 June 2015)

We had a lovely time at this parc, the location is excellent, right on the beach ( but not shaded) . full range of facilities, takeaway excellent value. Good entertainment programme. Great play area next to the bar. My young boys loved the swimming pool and slides. Lots to do in the surrounding areas especially with children. Would definately go back.
James from Wokingham (20 June 2015)

Nice place, probably best camp in argeles sur mer. Bedrooms in cabins too small otherwise good value. Staff very helpful & polite. An asset to eurocamp
Janet from Skipton (20 June 2015)

Fabulous holiday
Ben from Nottingham (20 June 2015)

The parc is lovely, the facilities are first class. Couriers were very helpful.
Richard from Southampton (20 June 2015)

Campsite was very good with excellent facilities. The accommodation was a little dated and small but for the price we paid we couldn't complain. Couriers were friendly. Overall an excellent holiday at a very good price, would definitely book with eurocamp again.
Paul from Rogiet (19 June 2015)

The holiday park was an excellent choice and although we did not use many of the facilities, the option was there to do so. Would refer this site to holiday makes as there is so much to do and see.
John from Sheffield (16 June 2015)

Pool was fantastic and a good onsite shop and restaurant.
Alan from Nantwich (13 June 2015)

Fantastic holiday. Plenty to do for all the family.
Helena (11 June 2015)

Great location and emplacement but overall experience let down by lack of commitment/enthusiasm of eurocamp couriers. Vast, much needed on site improvements since last year. Site looking more appealing. Great customer service from on site restaurant bar and restaurant staff.
Elizabeth from Clitheroe (07 June 2015)

A restful, restorative sojourn, in a picturesque area. Well sited for sea, and beach, with effective local transport links to adjacent towns/villages and pyrenes. Relaxed, well organised site, well run, and a distinctly nourishing place to holiday in every sense. Truly recommended.
Benjamin from York. (08 September 2014)

Great holiday parc lovely swimming pool right by sea
Laura from Watford (31 August 2014)

Lovely pool, great beach, great parc lovely town, good shops and restaurants local
Nathen (31 August 2014)

We had an awesome time. The best part of the park is definitely the pool for the children. It's slightly heated so they have the ability to stay in there for longer without being cold- if the weather is slightly off. the beach is amazing, it has everything you need, a bar, water sports, and sand. Would definitely go back!!!!
Lucy from Stoke On Trent (30 August 2014)

Great holiday. Fantastic parc. Beach very close
Customer 80 from Bristol (29 August 2014)

This was our 2nd visit to angeles. we stayed at le chapelle last year so couldn't help comparing them, however, you can not beat le soliel pool facilities. Our children loved it and we also enjoyed the facilities. it was incredibly clean, can't say the same about th e toilets at the pool, they were horrible, dark, smelt horrendous and had no hand wash provided after use. This was the only issue we had with the park. We will definitely be visiting this park again.
Sally from Staffordshire (26 August 2014)

Excellent holiday, lots on offer if you want to join in,couriers go out of their way to make sure you have everything you want and the staff are always polite and helpful
Marie Linda from Fakenham (26 August 2014)

Overall we had a fantastic holiday, however the mobile home was not very clean. The shower drain was blocked, however this problem was quickly fixed when we spoke to the couriers, who were very helpful. . the surrounding area of the mobile home was also quite tatty and in need of some tlc.
Leanne from Carlisle (26 August 2014)

Fantastic , children loved the kids club and the girls there were brilliant especially kay and george. Little disappointed with lack of knowledge of the area from couriers and reception staff. I would have liked to have ventured out a little more . our site was a little noisy form the traffic but apart from that fantastic and hopefully will book again for next year.
Lisa from Portsmouth (23 August 2014)

We have just returned from a lovely holiday at le soliel. Our accommodation was modern and fresh and the decking was great. The only drawback is the closeness of the units and sometimes the orientations of the units do not help with privacy, for example our toilet window was about a meter from where the neighbours outdoor table and chairs were situated. The best bit about the park is the fantastic pool area, great area for little kids with slides and giant bucket that drenches them. The pools are warm and clean. The park is very close to the luna park which does mean there is quite a lot of noise in the evenings. We were able to do day trips to barcelona and carcasonne, which were well worth the trip. Would recommend the park for busy families who don't mind a large park with some noise and bustle.
Abbie from Newark On Trent (23 August 2014)

The swimming pool was great but the park is a little run down. Had a good time but wouldn't necessarily go back.
Duncan (22 August 2014)

Both the parc and the beach were great places for the whole family. Stay away from the pool on sundays as they appear to open the doors to the public and it is crammed. Site clean and well maintained. The nearby resort is very commercialised and you will need a car to find a bit of french culture.
Simon from Coppull (21 August 2014)

Park not to bad but having visited two other eurocamp sites we found it very overcrowded all the chalets were vertually on top of each other and you have no privacy ,
Roderick from Hunnington (21 August 2014)

The holiday was good but after 5 years of rising prices it is just getting too expensive and the cost is now outweighing the value. Although the park and its staff was as good as ever.
Tony from Wigan (21 August 2014)

The camp has a fantastic location with direct location to the beach. The accommodation is good and set among mature trees. check in was really easy and the eurocamp couriers were efficient, friendly and helpful, really nice young people. On the down side, the restaurant on site isn't that great and there is nowhere in walking distance, or an easy car ride, to offer an alternative good eating experience.
Colin from London (20 August 2014)

Very good site. Highly recommended to any family with kids of any age.
Stephen from Belfast (19 August 2014)

The weather was fantastic. the couriers handles problems with the minimum of fuss and as a matter of urgency. the children attended the holiday club and thought the leaders were brilliant. no coercion needed on our part to attend. they really enjoyrd the swimming pools and all the facilites the camp site provided. an excellent beach was easily within walking distance. overall a great experience.
Customer 92 from Stockport (17 August 2014)

My holiday was as per my usual experiences with eurocamp, relaxed, warm and easygoing. My pitch was very near the path to the beach which was a delight, and also not to far from a wash area, so again quite useful. It was large and spacious and in a very sunny possition, exactly as I requested via my booking form. . my party consisted of an immidiate four, with two of my party being aged 15 & 17 years. We all had a good time with the youngest using the sports facilities and the pool on most days as well as enjoying a foam party on one of the party nights!. the noise from the nearby fun fare did not bother us to much as we were, not to close to it, but we could still hear it. . my biggest gripe about the camp was that there was never at any time one bar area open all trough the day. The pool bar would open until 7pm, then there would be no bar open until the beach bar would open at 9.30pm until 12.00, then the nightclub would open. However, the beach bar woul have you children discos form opening to closure, so if you wanted to have a quiret drink with friends or people you had met and not be in your accomodation you were very limited!. we managed to overcome this problem and had a good time. . unfortunately the weather was not a sunny as we are used to in the south of france our usual desination with eurocamp, as we found that the mountians of the pyrenees would send clouds over the camp from about miday onwards, it wasnt cold, but I found it a bit strange laying under a cloudbase on the beach. . another point tor remember about this camp is that it is on the beach, and all the other camps around and hotels, would travel to the beach, so if you were going out of the camp sightseeing you would get caught in the coastal traffic trying to get back to the camp, which could take ages as there is only one road for all to use!. the camp pools were fantastic, with the largest being slightly heated and 1.8meters deep, which meant that there were not to many ball games being played. Other pools were avalable for smaller childfren and there was even a health spa pool for adult use. . my total party consisted of 14 persons, 6 adults, 4 15 to 17 years olds, two young teenagers and two under 8's. We had two caravans and two tents. We all generally had a good time and a very relaxing holiday.
John from London Suburbs (17 August 2014)

The first night we had a meal at the restaurant and there was glass in the mussels . the reps did not know certain things. Ants in the caravan. Birds dropping on all outside furniture and decking. No barcelona trip as advertised
James (16 August 2014)

We were given the only accommodation without a deck. We had a dirty plastic table set out in mud. We were told off by our courier for sitting out on our friends deck until midnight - simply drinking wine and laughing! the courier suggested we go to the club or beach bar but that isn't practical with 4 children in our group under 7. . overall it was very disappointing.
Lisa from London (16 August 2014)

Great site, excellent location and facilities.
Jan from Warwickshire (16 August 2014)

We've just returned from another great holiday at le soliel. The main thing for us is the base club for teenagers which the kids love and means they get their freedom whilst still spending time with us. This site is also close to the beach which is a real bonus.
Julie from Staines (15 August 2014)

Brilliant family holiday, plenty to do for all. Great beach and pool.
Edward from Wales (15 August 2014)

Eurocamp's tag line is "toddler friendly holidays" but we did not find this to be true. The toddler group they advertise for this site was not available in the summer holidays. Apparently it states this in small print somewhere on the website, but as this was an important requirement for us, we would not have booked had we known. The decking gate we hired did not fit the decking and the buggy we hired was broken. It definitely was not "toddler friendly". the site could do with some tlc, however the caravan was as expected (if a little crammed in, there was hardly room to park our car) and the pool facilities and beach were wonderful and easily accessible and close by. Be aware though, that men are not allowed to swim in shorts!! I would do this kind of holiday again and we liked the park, we just probably won't book through eurocamp next time.
Claire (13 August 2014)

Think there could be better food offerings on site. did not really like the look of the main restaurant. Felt the area around the table tennis could do with tidying up. Pools were good, football facilities okay, park okay, beach access brilliant. we had a wonderful holiday and travelled around the local area. Like the land train into the town..very convenient.
Clare from Cannock (09 August 2014)

We had a fantastic time at the camp. Very polite and helpful staff, lovely home (we got lucky it was away from the bars and all the noises), beautiful weather, lovely beach. Can't really fault it. We enjoyed the entertainment at the beach bar. Would definitely recommend this camp.
Viktoriya from Huntingdon (09 August 2014)

Le soleil good but we had two nights first at les pins and were very disappointed with this parc. overall we were also very disappointed that we were unable to use the swimming pools on either parc due to not travelling with the accepted form of mal swimming costumes. there was no guidance on this on either the eurocamp website or the guidance material we received in advance. I will be seeking recompense from eurocamp for the inconvenience.
Keith from Chelmsford (08 August 2014)

Brilliant parc - it's the second year we've been here and the facilities and staff were just as good this year. .
Julie from Dartford, Kent (06 August 2014)

The park is great for facilities and the beach is next door but the noise at night is a major problem. If you want a peaceful and restful campsite then this isn't a good choice.
Alex from Birmingham (06 August 2014)

Lovely camp the directions for driving from calais to the parc were confusing with to many locations to look for
Robert from Staines Upon Thames (01 August 2014)

The holiday was fine. The only slight blemish was that caravan 285 does not have adequate car parking space.
James from Stockbridge, Hants (01 August 2014)

Warm, but hit and miss with the weather. But that didn't stop us having a fantastic few days. If it's windy it was best to avoid the beach but the pool more than made up for it. Great site.
Sheri from Ripley, Derbyshire (01 August 2014)

In general a nice parc. our pitch wasn't ideal (it was right behind the restaurant) so not such a good view but was quite spacious. also it had the advantage of being near the facilities. my main plus point for this parc was being able to walk onto the beach in just a few minutes. For this alone would make me want to come back. the parc was a good size, not so huge it takes hours to walk anywhere but still had all the features of a larger parc with excellent pools and a basketball court (a must for my oldest son!). we loved the beach bar as it was a good size and thought the entertainment was excellent - kids loved the foam disco (very original) and the cabaret was very good, very french (unlike many sites where they only seem to play 80s rock). the wifi area in the bar by the pool did get a bit crowded but the area inside with tables was a good idea. despite reading bad reviews about the huge entertainment parc next door it didn't seem very loud more of a background hum but that could be because we were placed near the entrance to the park. it started around 9pm and it certainly didn't keep any of us awake.
Ruth (31 July 2014)

Very good holiday, excellent parc with great facilities one of the best we've been to. We have two boys aged 7 and 9 and they loved the site for the sports facilites and the pools with the slides. We loved the saftey of the site especially knowing there were patrols in the nights. Some noise from the fair ground attraction in the local area, but this all went quite at about 12am. Would go back again..
Gary from Cardiff (30 July 2014)

Friendly site, by the beach with all the facilities you expect. The large pool is a bonus as it allows proper swimming in deep water without the distraction of young children who are drawn to a couple of slides and a shallow play pool. entertainment is mixed but there were a few strong highlights as well as silent discos and bands. The free wifi is useful. The only issue is a bit of noise from a local fair. This site was well worth the extra drive beyond the better know resorts further north. The mountains, local towns and tourist attractions provide a variety of worthwhile visits and angeles sur mer is better than most seaside towns is this part of france. A base club for teenagers allowed our youngsters to quickly make new friends.
Richard from Manchester (28 July 2014)

Mobile homes outdated and needed repairs. 3 lights not working, external door wouldn't stay open in wind cos broken clip, toilet didn't fill with water properly. No storage space for large suitcases. Swimming pool stairs slippy and my son slipped and needed 5 stitches in his chin. Fun station is good and very good staff. Site overall was very nice.
Jennifer from Purley (27 July 2014)

A really nice park, close to beach, good restaurant, good shop, great pool.
Nigel from Washington Tyne And Wear (26 July 2014)

There was horrific and constant loud music & a guy on a microphone every night from sundown till approx 2-3am and on 1 day until 5am!!! this was coming from an adjacent funfair right on the border of the parc, totally ruined a peaceful holiday & a beautiful area.
Ros from Milton Keynes (25 July 2014)

Park overcrowded and noisy, luna park nearby blasted out loud noise until 1 am. Tent well equipped and roomy ,great to have a bbq.
Melanie (25 July 2014)

Excellent park. Couriers were great- well done barney!
Kate from Reading (24 July 2014)

Stayed at le soleil in a eurocamp tent for two weeks at the beginning of july with 8, 5 and 11 month old. For starters if you like a quiet site/holiday then le soleil probably isn't for you especially during the high season. Although it didn't particularly bother us the noise from the theme park was very noticeable especially up to midnight when the music etc was turned down. There was also lots of people coming and going late at night. Despite this we really enjoyed our time at the parc, the eurocamp fun station (and staff) was superb our kids ready enjoyed it. The pool complex was also excellent and the onsite shop was reasonably priced. We didn't eat at the onsite restaurant which also did takeaway. The site had two bars which weren't cheap and the free wifi area was hit or miss (more miss) with regard to speed of connection. Our pitch was spacious with a gas bbq provided. The beach was only a few hundred yards away - families with young children would need to be careful as the depth of the entrance to the sea was very variable along the stretch at le soleil. The local area has also lots of nice places for day trips etc. We had a hire car which imo was needed although we did speak to other families who didn't have as car. Would consider staying at le soleil again
Selwyn from Glasgow (21 July 2014)

The loud techno music and shouting and screaming noises from the nearby fairground every night until midnight and beyond was a real shame. Everything else was great.
Jane (19 July 2014)

Good swimming pool complex. Excellent kids club. Not great sites, but accommodation excellent. Terrible wifi.
Craig (13 July 2014)

Great location, clean, well maintained facilities, perfect for family holiday
Danielle from Dublin (09 July 2014)

We had a really great start to our holiday at le soleil. tents were in good sized pitches, direct access to the beach was great. good swimming pool area. yes there was some noise from luna parc, but the overall noise was far less than other sites we have stayed on in argeles.
Dominic from Belfast (30 June 2014)

Have been to le soleil 5 times both with and without children. the pool and access to the beach are what make it special for us.
Anne from Wheathampstead (08 September 2013)

. loved the sight . double bedroom too small. Too much shade on decking area because sight was closing couldn't change accommodation.
Confirmed Holidaymaker from Woodbridge (08 September 2013)

Beautiful, brilliant and only gave 7/10 for accommodation as we had a classic and it had a faint stale smell of smoke.
Hamilton from Camberley (08 September 2013)

The holiday was perfect for my children they had a blast. So did i. . it was a safe environment for my family, and the keycamp staff were so very helpful. Wish there was better evening entertainment.
Ric from London (07 September 2013)

I cannot recall a parc being so noisy. The luna park less than 1/2 mile away started at 9pm till 2am. It was incredible why such a fantastic site next to the wonderful beach set amongst pine trees is next to a midnight fun park. The site is the best that I have seen for children except for the noise. It was impossible to sit outside for it. The other noise was the 9am to 10pm karting rumble which was also next door. It is sad because I loved the site, caravans were also so close you could shake hands through the windows with the neighbours. Still we had a good holiday, but wont stay at that site with the luna park noise.
Ian from Teignmouth (07 September 2013)

Overall an excellent holiday. good time of year to go as the parc is much quieter and suitable for families with younger children.
Brendan (07 September 2013)

A wonderful large parc situated directly on the glorious argeles plage. Our kids (14,10,5) loved the swimming pool with its water slides and there was plenty of space to sun yourself as they splashed. Baby pool, large pool with sun terraces and the slides meant there was plenty to do. Accommodation was superb, shaded by trees yet sunny enough to catch the rays. Nearby collioure and sy cyprien are a must if you have a car, though the road-train ran frequently in high season and was a great way to travel around. . argeles itself was much bigger than we expected with a wonderful front and many fine restaurants to choose from. The markets opposite ran into the night where local artisans sold quality goods well into the night. Plenty to do for all ages. Highly recommended.
Stephen from Northampton (05 September 2013)

We had a enjoyable relaxing holiday. Chose the location carefully due to taking my partners grandchildren.we arrived towards end of season so the site was not overly packed. Access to the beach was great although the children were happier in the pool. One major irritation around the pool was the lifeguards all seemed to have different agendas when they were working. Day 5 a new lifeguard told the children to take their inflatable out of the pool which was quiet. Day 6 I was told my swim shorts did not comply with french law (not sure why they didn't comply first 5 days). there was noise at night from the fair at luna park which was mentioned in the brochure. Shop on site was expensive which we expected nothing else but there were a number of large supermarkets minutes away by car. Ideal location for a relaxing break not really many places to visit close by. The site is large and I can imagine in high season being really packed but we knew would be bit quieter end of season. We relaxed the children loved the pools could have done with a bit more on the site to keep them entertained early evening they are 9 and 11 not much for them too do.
Stu from Manchester (04 September 2013)

Overall, we enjoyed our holiday. The site is very big but the way it is designed with with lots of mature trees and with each placement within easy reach of the pool and other facilities made it feel relatively compact. There was noise from the fair ground - luna park which took a bit of getting used too. The site shop was very useful for fresh bread and croissants and the pool was kept clean and tidy - during the busy weeks, the sun beds were very busy but the actual swimming pool never seemed to feel crowded.
Ian from Oxford (03 September 2013)

We had a great family holiday. Location of parc on the beach was perfect. Our pitch was excellent (317), close to all the amenities, but off the beaten track so peaceful. Would definitely recommend.
Rachael from Surrey (02 September 2013)

Lovely big park, easy access to a lovely beach. Big pools. There is a pool suitable for everyone. We had a very relaxing holiday. The tents were well equipt and a very good size. My 4 year old son had a great time. Yes luna park is a little close. But really it is just background noise. Not very loud but you can hear it. Definately recommend this park. Park was busy even at the end of august.
Laura from Andvoer (02 September 2013)

A great holiday - beautiful area, great food and drink, fantastic scenery, good campsite facilities, welcoming couriers. Only downside was noise at night.
Mark (01 September 2013)

Lovely parc laid out amongst the trees and a stone's throw from the beach. Great pools and restaurant. Everything you need. Just take care with small children swimming in the sea.
Clare (01 September 2013)

Location is great for the beach. this is a noisy park - do be aware of that. had a great time.
Chris (31 August 2013)

A lovely park with beach access and good facilities but affected by noise from nearby funfair until 1 am then as we were near entrance we had noise of deliveries and arriving / departing campers from 7am
Alison from Watford (31 August 2013)

The only problem with soleil is the nighttime noise from the nearby funfair. otherwise great site.
Chris from Wheathampstead (31 August 2013)

Loads of activities on site for kids and all parc facilities were excellent. Direct access to the huge beach was an absolute winner. Eating on site was top notch. Transport into the local town was a bit of a bind and there are very few local sites of interest, but for a hot, sunny, beach holiday - can't be beaten.
Nick from Bognor Regis (30 August 2013)

Great holiday, good location and the campsite was clean and tidy, although a little crowded with the pitches and mobile homes very close to each other.
Andrew from Redhill (29 August 2013)

We had a great holiday and the parc and facilities where fine, but feel the site in general lacked facilities for kids.keycamp reps where the stars of the show and I would say they were the best reps I have ever come across, very efficient, prompt, friendly and nothing seemed to much hassle.
Ian from Preston (27 August 2013)

Fantastic holiday, nice park, fantastic couriers.
Kevin from Preston (27 August 2013)

Did not realise that no linen was provided otherwise would have bought more had to wait a night to get more for the family and then paid more in euros than back in england when booking the holiday. also our gas bottles ran out after 3 nights and had to wait an hour to get them replaced, could not shower or cook in the morning
Charlotte from Coventry (25 August 2013)

Best holiday ever, our 3 young girls (4,5,9) had the best time. Nothing was missing and the weather was fantastic!! definitely going back next year.
Samia from London (25 August 2013)

Fabulous holiday, really want to return
Joanne from Worthing (25 August 2013)

We enjoyed our holiday.
David from Sevenoaks (24 August 2013)

This is our 4th visit to this camp site our 1st with keycamp having camped with canvas since childhood. The couriers esp paul were excellent.the camp site is well run with good amenities . an excellent choice of camp for a family. The base activites were excellent.
Melanie from Milton Keynes (24 August 2013)

The shop is very disappointing with little choice. It would have been nice to know about luna park but after buying earplugs it was less of a problem. all eurocamp staff were very friendly & helpful
Rose (24 August 2013)

The kids club was great. The reps were great at entertaining my 8 year old. We had an ant problem, and found that although we left several messages 1. Written on the message pad in the welcome caravan and 3 with other couriers no one answered us. Eventually after trying to cook on an oven with ants coming out of everywhere we were given a barrier spray which worked and the rep sprayed around the outside of the caravan. Also as we were there for 3 weeks I would have liked fresh linen every week, it is very expensive to wash all the sheets and towels at the campsite lavarie.
Sam from Liverpool (24 August 2013)

We all had an excellent holiday. There were 3 generations together during the 3 day visit and everyone was delighted.
Denise from Bristol (23 August 2013)

We had a great holiday overall but the noise in the parc from luna park means I can't give it a higher score. It really is intrusive and for that reason I would not visit this parc again.
Victoria from Hitchin (22 August 2013)

Parc was noisy and filled with teenagers. smoking pot around pool. people kept coming on our deck and a very expensive towel was stolen. many others had stolen towels off there decks also. parcel owners are not bothered and a bit rude.
