Only spent one night here. Great overnight stopover. Susan (14 September 2015)
Thoroughly enjoyed our first four days at the park - should have been five but we were requested to return to the parc midway through a chateau visit, and told that we had to vacate our mobile and the park by lunchtime that day. we were told that the park owner had ordered this so that "freshers" could take over the park for a party. needless to say we were not happy, but the customer services team and the park couriers were superb in finding us alternative accommodation and were very apologetic for the disruption to our plans, which was not of their making. Terry from Shrewsbury (05 September 2015)
For us it proved a good base to explore a few of the local medevial towns which were interesting with out being to touristy. Stephen from Nottinghamshire (04 September 2015)
Had a fantastic holiday at this park. Loads to do to keep the kids entertained. Can do as little or as much as you please. Pool is lovely. Very clean and well spaced out park. Rebecca from Exeter (01 September 2015)
Great camp and facilities loved swimming in the lake as well David from Chelmsford (30 August 2015)
Nice park for younger children, my girls aged 8 and 9 loved the pool and the activities. Food from the different outlets could be vastly improved. Nice surrounding area with nice places to visit nearby. Julie from Leigh On Sea (28 August 2015)
Great start to our family holiday Ann from Hengoed (28 August 2015)
We were only here for a couple of nights, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. Jesmin from Bury St Edmunds (23 August 2015)
Excellent parc, will definitely be back. accommodation would have been better had the shower not dripped all night and if the courier had arranged for it to be mended when we first asked about it. Gemma from Bristol (21 August 2015)
The parc was very well equipped however the standard of the eurocamp caravan and couriers was appalling. Our families have used eurocamp for over 20 years and have never experienced such poor quality Lesley from Stoke On Trent (19 August 2015)
Lovely campsite. Pool, lake, setting, entertainment all good. Lynne from Bath (19 August 2015)
Great park and the area was nice. Lots to see and do so much that we need to revisit again. Would recommend this park. Darren (12 August 2015)
We had a fantastic holiday at this site in a classic 3bed 2bath with our 3 children. Loads to do and fantastic pool - only criticism is the restaurant, don't waste you time and money. Pizza takeaway was great though! entertainment was ok but I think vincent was perhaps a little out of his depth. Coffee and cocktails at the bar were fantastic, really enjoyed this part and would definitely go back. Alan from Sherborne (01 August 2015)
Lots of different activities available for the kids. Caravan ok some maintenance needed on the decking area. Couriers were not in the office but we're contactable by phone and immediately arranged sheets for us that we had pre-ordered. The price was expensive - pretty steep for a campsite! Henri (25 July 2015)
A great holiday, lovely weather, excellent parcs! Paul from West Haddon (11 July 2015)
We enjoyed our first holiday with our 18 month old twins. We had great weather and we enjoyed our site. Our twins have come on really well with swimming in just a short time in the pool which was good because of the beach style entrance. Sarah from Bristol (07 July 2015)
Really nice place lots to do Steven from Bolton (29 June 2015)
Overnight stops, one night going and one night coming home, this is a really nice site with every facility you could possibly wish for. And more. Very clean, well laid out, a little difficult to find as it is well off the main road, excellent hypermarket very close and a reasonable supermarket for essentials on site. if you are looking for somewhere where the kids are taken care of whilst you relax you will not go far wrong with this site. sorry, over night stops so did not visit the area. Jean from Warsop (27 June 2015)
Only spent one night in transit.. Patrick from Burton On Trent (25 June 2015)
A very good campsite, nice swimming complex Steve from Near Maidstone, Kent (21 June 2015)

Great overnight stay and very helpful couriers Nicola from Longson (04 September 2014)
Just a short stop over this time, although we have stayed here longer prior. . excellent service, thoroughly recommend. Keith from Bucks (31 August 2014)
We had an excellent holiday. Good weather, well equipped and comfortable accommodation, nice sized parc with lots to do and quiet country location. Very helpful and friendly couriers to boot Sue from Southampton (29 August 2014)
Nice holiday, weather was rubbish though. The first camp was mediocre but the second was lovely. Alex from Kingston (26 August 2014)
Please see overall holiday review for le ruisseau that provides information about us, our overall holiday expectations and stay. Katherine from Vancouver, Bc, Canada (24 August 2014)
Good relaxing holiday Michael from Pontypridd (22 August 2014)
Wonderful variety of facilities on the park. Some of main buildings in need of repair. Our accomodation had some small faults, peeling laminate and dodgy shower. Eurocamp staff very helpful. Edward from Nottingham (21 August 2014)
Really enjoyed our holiday. Jill from Cheshire (14 August 2014)
Very good holiday, only thing to complain about was the weather, which is nothing eurocamp could do anything about! Richard from Yorkshire (13 August 2014)
A great parc for an overnight stop when heading south . Polly (12 August 2014)
Great freedom for the kids Kerry from Twickenham (09 August 2014)
Relaxing and friendly parc Confirmed Holidaymaker (01 August 2014)
The lake was very pleasant. . the entertainment was badly organised. Activities were geared mostly for younger children. Information about the campsite and activities on it and around was not communicated and so many things were missed. Local information was inaccurate (market details etc.-one market recommended by the cam had not been running for several years!). the staff at the camp were not well informed or helpful. Communication was not clear and information not forthcoming about all aspects of the camp itself and surrounding areas. Julie from London (30 July 2014)
This was a two night stop over for us and what a disappointment. The mobile home was dirty and had stains all over the sofa cushions. The main doorframe was smashed at the top so the door couldn't be properly locked and two of the cupboard / wardrobe rails were also badly broken. There was no cafetiere and the rep's explanation was that they were no longer replacing them athis was a two night stop over for us and what a disappointment. Was only an overnight on route but could have enjoyed spending more time John (27 July 2014)
Beautiful lake on site made this resort a big hit with our family Rowena (26 July 2014)
Great camp Hendrik (24 July 2014)
A unspoilt site in a beautifull setting and away from the crowds that france can attract in summer. Real france with lovely towns to visit suitable for families that do not want the nightlife. The site has good quite family entertainment with friendly and helpfull staff. Brian from Hereford (22 July 2014)
Had really good holiday just wish drinks were cheaper and had more entertainment. Staff was lovely. Kimberley from Colchester (04 July 2014)
A very late booking, inexpensive break to be with friends who were using the touring pitches on this site. The site has many facilities which earn it's 5star rating but we found the restaurant not to be one of those stars! as the site is rather remote, the local village is small and pretty but offers only 1 restaurant - which is excellent, the only option is to self cater; the surrounding area is full of chateau and fortified towns. The park is good for a family holiday and you would not need to leave it - except to buy mum supplies so she could cook!! Confirmed Holidaymaker from Ashford, Kent (02 July 2014)
We only stayed for one night on the way to our holiday destination and on the way back to break the long journey. We were there at the end of june and then mid-late july. early june was very quiet but busy in july. outdoor pool is great, be it busy in july, but lovely for young children to paddle in. in door pool was good in in june as this is heated and was a bit warmer. well stocked shop and takeaway kiosk did good steak hache and chips. pizza takeaway was very understaffed and need training on time expectations. cabin very clean and comfortable and well equipped, however like an oven in july, no shade and just one fan, so impossible to get cool. shame about the stinging nettles on our plot, get the weed killer out, both of our boys were stung on both visits. Sara from Truro (28 June 2014)
An excellent site with good facilities and plenty to see in the area. Suzanne from Hemel Hempstead (28 June 2014)
Had a great time, great site in excellent location. Reps were really helpful to few times we needed anything and couldn't do enough to make sure we had a good time. Jamie from Wirral (27 June 2014)
Lovely park - easy walk into st katherine village where there's a good restaurant Carol from Derbyshire (22 June 2014)
Great area to explore with many nice villages and chateauxs. Carolyn from Bath (11 June 2014)
Nice area to visit. Poor maintenance/ unfinished site. most on site facilities shut/ limited for half of our holiday. Ian from Reading (01 June 2014)
Site was lovely, no pizzeria despite being in brochure and in site literature. When asked courier he said "yeah we wondered that" but didn't have an answer! Janine from Wirral (01 June 2014)
This was a lovely parc with well spaced pitches for the caravans, nice pool area and lake with a beach. The nearby village was pretty with a few shops and restaurants Kevin (31 May 2014)
Brilliant! Confirmed Holidaymaker (31 May 2014)
Big thanks to mark for the greatest umberella in the camp and his sewing kit, josh and dan helpful too. the parc. Don't go till the french bank holiday as very little to do when the weathers cold. No ponys! outdoor pool cool, indoor pool walk area filthy. Lovely in the pool though once you have climbed down 2 flights of muddy steps. Beach shale, buliders type sand. Good job 5yr old don't understand. don't go to this parc til end of may nothing to do, very wet and raining, but if you travel out of the site for 30-40 minutes we got sun.. went to tours lovely, montbazon- 6 market stalls and castle shut!. the actual town market on the friday at ste- maure de tourine was lovely.. great local food, clothing and ambience.all helpful for those limited in french. intermarche supermarket short car drive away 5km max , with some lovely cheap chardonnay wine!!. the reps. Helpful, cheerey on the glummy wet days, always letting on, asking was there anything we needed ( we said some sun!) shame they hadn't been off parc much to feedback some of the local activites and sites listed in reception. Sandra from Shropshire (31 May 2014)
The holiday was marred by poorly equipped facilities, and some that were not available as advertised. The couriers, whilst friendly, were unable to answer basic questions and were slow to respond to requests for help. Wendy from South East England (31 May 2014)
This holiday was a disappointment. Caravan was lovely but many items on the inventory were missing. The bedding pack had a flu me cover and single duvet and 4 pillows and only two pillow cases parc came highly recommended. The site was not ready. The grass boggy and overgrown meaning our shoes were caked in mud every time we ventured out. The eurocamp staff were friendly but lacked the equipment and training to help us with anything.they admitted to not speaking french so could not give us any help. The pool was not heated until 5 days in to the holiday when the french half term started. The pizzeria did not exist, nor did the gym, the lake based activities. There was no vegetarian food in restaurant or takeaway. The takeaway does not provide food containers. Why? I felt ripped off by this e experience. It was not worth the 300+ mile drive for a third rate holiday. Lisa from Sevenoaks (31 May 2014)
Wonderful but far too short. Julie from Marlborough (30 May 2014)
6 days of rain, thunderstorms ruined any chance of sightseeing?? Conrad from Hastings (26 May 2014)
It would be better if the site was complete and ready to accept guests when the park is open. Having to dodge diggers and other plant is not ideal. John (21 May 2014)
This was a beautiful site even though it was the last week of the season. the location is wonderful and walks around the lake stunning which a small local town nearby. Jenny from North Harrow (14 September 2013)
Site was superb very friendly only downside was lack of food stock in shop and bar and restaurant which was due to last week of season apparently?? Simon from Brighouse (07 September 2013)
Overall good. Weather excellent. Accommodation big let down. Steve from Sheffield (06 September 2013)
This was our first time on a keycamp holiday. we were very impressed by the camp we visited, the value for money and the small attention to details that the keycamp experience gave us, like texting us the night before arrival to make sure everything was going to plan! Steve from London (03 September 2013)
Really enjoyed our short stay Stephen from Nottingham (02 September 2013)
Great park, nice size not too big, fantastic pool area and waterslides, great to have the treeclimbing course on site. Overall a very relaxing holiday. Andrea from Maidstone (02 September 2013)
Ok for overnight stop over, dated site. Beautiful area loire Debbie from Oldham (02 September 2013)
We have travelled with eurocamp for a number of years. Out of all the parcs that we have stayed this is most disapointing. the parc fault old and rundown in parts. the onsite cafe / bar was disapointing - having not drinks when we tried order. Gareth (01 September 2013)
We booked our first keycamp holiday based on a review from a friend who had been to the parc de fierbois. Plus the fact that we were keen to try out the kids clubs for the children -aged 12 and 10 -for the first time. There were no kids clubs on the site, and the courier told me on the site there hadn't been any there all summer - yet the brochure we used to book the holiday clearly listed the clubs available. at no point were we contacted prior to our holiday to inform us that there would be no clubs available so we have been totally mis-led and over-charged for a service that was not an option for us. The courier was hard to find when we first arrived at the site, invisible to us the whole week and the accommodation was not clean. The shop was not well stocked, in fact most of the shelves were empty for most of the time. Gary (01 September 2013)
We had a lovely holiday, the parc was great with loads to do, the caravan was fine. The couriers were polite when we saw them and had obviously worked hard cleaning the caravan but we didn't see them again after check in. The downside of the parc was our pitch was full of nettles and unkempt, the parc itself could have done with a little tlc. Lisa from Derby (01 September 2013)
Used as overnight stay. Not best experience with accommodation both nights we were there - one night on way out and one on the way back. Alison (31 August 2013)
3 issues that could not be resolved on site. 1.lounge seating which had to be used as a double bed for two adults was inadequate as it was only a very lightweight, 4' double. 2.on first night after a much longer than planned journey due to road closures in rouen, we arrived after the shop had closed and decided to eat in the restauraunt. There was no management evident and the two girls were often to be seen chatting around the food counter showing scant interest in service. We waited to be seated for 30 minutes. 30 minutes later we ordered after searching out a waitress and asking for her services. 30 minutes later starters appeared. 3 veg soups were almost cold and lacked taste and seasoning. These were rejected in favour of cold meats. 40 minutes later mains arrived. All had curry powder sprinkled around the edges of the plate, how strange. All chips had been re-heated more than once and were almost cold. Boeuf bourginoinge was worst I had ever seen - dry and of poor taste, however in view of time we attempted to soldier on and eat the food. But we could not, we do appreciate that we should not have accepted the food in the first place. When the waitress approached we pointed out our problems and after much discussion with virtually of of the staff in the restaurant, a small reduction on the bill was agreed. This complaint was passed on to one of the reps and we asked for an official complaint to be made. 3. The reason we selected this site, due to very young children in our party, was the photo and reference to the sandy beach around the lake. This was a blatent misrepresentation and I have taken many photos to prove our case. There was no beach, as what little sand remained was overgrown with grass and weeds. Perhaps the photo on your web site was true when the site was new but alas, no longer. In fact I would go as far as stating that this contravenes the trades desciption act Steven from Thanet (31 August 2013)
Nice camp site. Third stay here so far. John from Paignton (31 August 2013)
A very enjoyable holiday with many activities to keep the children entertained from morning untill bedtime. Good for par Jason from Corbridge (31 August 2013)
Very disappointing holiday. The park was reluctant to engage with young people other than very small children. Very little for older ones to do. Organised activities like archery were over subscribed and therefore the participants didn't get much time to practice the skills taught. I would recommend this park as it was very dark in the caravans and the outdoor pool was really cold. Eileen from Derbyshire (31 August 2013)
Really impressed with the telephone staff at keycamp. They could not be more helpful Hollie from Pevensey (31 August 2013)
A well maintained park with good facilities Paul from Bromley (30 August 2013)
Not a great experience going down but great coming back. Angela from Monmouthshire (30 August 2013)
Keycamp prices are getting too expensive to be able to holiday. The parc prices were also expensive 9.50 euros for a pint and half of beer is expensive. John from Cardiff (30 August 2013)
The caravan was old and worn and felt dirty. The outdoor pool was so cold it was unpleasant to be in - even on a very hot day. The lake was dirty and I don't understand how they allow people to swim in it. Jennifer from Hereford (30 August 2013)
Parc was looking very tired and evening entertainment was pretty poor. swimming pool was also very cold for some reason. parc is also a few miles away from any of the main attractions and local area is pretty dull. Stephen from Surrey (30 August 2013)
A great holiday Michael from Kendal (28 August 2013)
Great parc, good lake for swimming, pontoon for diving. Nice pool, complex and not for swimming just playing. Water slides small, not great. Crazy golf rubbish. Shop good, supermarche 10 mins away. Easy to get to surrounding places Customer 83 (25 August 2013)
This park was just a stop over each way. However I was very glad it wasn't our main base as compared to our other site it was very disappointing. It felt very uninvested in, slightly shabby in parts. No kids club etc. James (24 August 2013)
Lovely site, relaxed feel about it , spacious sites too Shirley from Newcastle (23 August 2013)
Lovely relaxed, quiet campsite with good facilities. Surrounded by countryside ideal for cycling due to landscape. Great pool with slides but never enough sunbeds. Sarah from Towcester (23 August 2013)
Great park, lots to do and so glad we had a shady pitch. It was very hot!!!!!! Kath from New Marske (22 August 2013)
Would def return Adele (20 August 2013)
Great site, great facilities, thoroughly enjoyed the holiday David from Cornwall (18 August 2013)
Lovely area. Scenery is amazing! car needed to sightsee. Local food very nice and local wine good too! Alexandra (16 August 2013)
Yet again, it was a very enjoyable holiday! the campsite was lovely, with a range of wonderful activities. The pool complex was very nice and the lake was a bonus. Sam from Tunbridge Wells (15 August 2013)
This was an excellent stopover location, perfectly situated for a rest before driving south. Mark from Gloucester (15 August 2013)
A good holiday with our usual mix of seeing local sights, enjoying french bread, cheese and wine, relaxing by the pool and being able to take it easy. David from Wood (13 August 2013)
The parc was nice and in a good location. The swimming pool kept the kids entertained but the bar food was not good value for money and the nightly entertainment dated. Hannah, the keycamp rep was very helpful but clearly lacked experience which was not her fault and the villa could have been ready for us with our welcome pack and the basics like toilet roll! . although hannah did sort this but extra toilet rolls are not included which is a bit tight. Ashley (12 August 2013)
Nice location and parc and enjoyed the overall stay, however, on a negative note, do feel that there could be some improvements made on the condition of the mobile homes. although clean and comfortable, I found them in a very "lived in" condition. shabby flooring and decor let it down. the staff are very friendly and the food at the take away was good but I do feel that it would be better to offer some alternatives other than chips with every meal. entertainment was poor, one great band but then it was games and silly competitions that prevented my family and I attending the evening shows. Tracey from Widnes (12 August 2013)
Lovely campsite with excellent facilities. The lake was a nice bonus and the whole place had a fanastic atmosphere. The only negative was its location; it is quite isolated. Tara from Surrey (12 August 2013)
We had a good time, the weather was brilliant which made all the difference and is the main reason we go south! the parc is excellent with very good facilities. Rosemary from Bexhill On Sea (09 August 2013)
The courier was excellent and a credit to the company. Park was clean and tidy, as well as peaceful at the accommodation. Food at the restaurant was not great. Staff friendly and helpful Mark from North Walsham (08 August 2013)
Being in the woods was lovely and our accommodation had a generous amount of space around it, so we did not feel overlooked by other people, however the parc was very busy and I felt the outside pool struggled to cater for this and also the pool closed too early (8pm). the indoor pool was disappointingly shallow. General decor of our accommodation was tired. Garry from Tiverton (03 August 2013)
Disappointed with the lake unable to swim due to the green water and the smell and the activities around it. it wasn't has the brochue discribed.. Mark from Scunthorpe (31 Jul 2013)
Parc is best suited to families with older teenagers. It is a good place to stop over for a few days. Sports facilities are good. Entertainment in the evening is ok by french campsite standards. Overall the parc is a bit tired. The lake beach advertised is mucky , not that clean and not somewhere you would want to spend too much time. Some people did swim in the lake, but the water was a bit cloudy for most. The tennis is free which is great. However, you will spend any money you save on this on the other activities! the zip wire over the lake and tree adventure course are great fun. Joanne from Armagh (29 Jul 2013)
Excellent holiday, the weather was superb and the location of our mobile home meant we could have a dip in the pool without having to be in the pool enclosure. Tony from Croston (29 Jul 2013)
Unfortunately our holiday was marred slightly by poor weather but overall, although we had a lovely time as a family I did not really enjoy this park. I felt it was a poorly run campsite (unhelpful reception staff, chronically understaffed in the bar area) and being a purpose built campsite was not as pretty as some we have been to. Would not return to this campsite although the poor weather meant we explored the local area more than we might have otherwise. Vicky from London (28 Jul 2013)
Fantastic campsite with great facilities. great venue for a family holiday. Susan from Wakefield (27 Jul 2013)
