Jurgen, the eurocamp rep, was by far the best rep we have ever encountered. He was so helpful , polite and always had a smile on his face. The park was small but very clean and had direct access to the lake. We had a lovely holiday. Alison from Chorley, Preston (19 August 2015)
Only negative would be the size of the pitches, tents behind (not eurocamp) are literally touching the back of your tent which I am sure is a fire hazard, it also makes it noisy even if you neighbours are only talking! . you have very little space to sit and relax once you have parked your car. Other than that though the park and the pool are clean and the people are friendly. Katie from Hambledon (11 August 2015)
We had a nice stay. The camp sites were a little bit closer together than other parks. Some of the zips didn't work on the tent. Jurgen, the host was excellent and very helpful. Peter (01 August 2015)
Surgery situation and generally well run and resourced campsite. the only negative was the situation of the eurocamp pitches which were in a very crowded part of the site and distinctly lacked any ambiance. Amanda (28 July 2015)
Very good holiday, in a lovely location with a lovely town nearby, with lots of good resteraunt nearby if you want them. The parc is very tidy and is always being cleaned, along with the shower blocks so they are always clean. The beach is really nice and quiet with just locals so feels like you are part of italy. Also jurgen is amazing, couldn't do enough for you. And if you are worried about being in a tent then don't be, stayed here as part of a trip around many parts of italy, and this was definitely better than accommodation we stayed in in venice and rome, with the cost much cheaper despite staying for longer. Jacob from Leicester (25 June 2015)
3rd trip to the same park and loved it again. There may be a 4th trip.. Barbara from Hertfordshire (18 June 2015)
An absolutely amazing holiday. This was a quieter part which suited us down to the ground. There were many beautiful towns easily accessible. The euro camp courier was very friendly and went out of his way to help with info etc. Would love to go back! Susan from Manchester (05 June 2015)
Fantastic location, lovely small park. The courier juergen, was absolutely lovely, very friendly and helpful. We were unfortunate with the weather this year but know this is not typical of this area. Would not recommend driving through desenzano, sirmione or peschiera in the middle weekend of august as most of italy wants to be doing the same thing and the roads were very congested which was frustrating. There are some fantastic and beautiful places within easy reach of this campsite, such as verona, limone, riva del. Garda and malcesine. I would thoroughly recommend taking the cable car up to monte baldo at malcesine but leave early to avoid traffic and choose a good weather day, the views from the top of the mountain are breathtaking. Nicola from Chippenham (25 August 2014)
Excellent holiday this was our 2nd consecutive year at the site and it was even better than last year. Aled from Birmingham (20 August 2014)
Fabulous Christine from Faversham (12 August 2014)
The park itself is in a wonderful location which is absolutely beautiful. The courier juergan was very helpful and friendly. Overall a very enjoyable experience. Ellen (25 July 2014)
Couldn't have asked for better. Myself and 8 other 18 year olds stayed here as part of a month inter-railing trip round europe. The condition and facilities of the eurocamp tent was better than many of the hostels we stayed in. Early july and the weather was beautiful. . the whole camp felt friendly and safe, ideal for a relaxed stay (not if you're looking for night life/ stereotypical youthful yobishness) and a perfect distance from both beaches. The eurocamp courier may possibly have been the most genuine and polite guy I have every met, and he helped us out upon arrival. . . although not against any rules, our large party may have felt a little bit guilty about making a lot of noise around couples/ families staying near us. We were, however, the only party of the sort staying on the moderately sized site. . overall very pleased. Beth from Leeds (06 July 2014)
An excellent holiday at lake garda. The camp was perfectly located and tents equipped with everything we needed abs more. The courier was so, so helpful. Alex from Leeds (06 July 2014)
We had an amazing trip for our honeymoon. It most definitely was 'glamping' rather than camping, but an amazing place nonetheless. We are looking at going again and even staying at the same campsite! Blue from Norfolk (01 July 2014)
We had the best time. Very quiet, relaxing. Just what we needed. I imagine the site would be very busy during peak times which we wouldn't enjoy. However we dont holiday at that time so it isnt an issue for us. Jane from Southampton (29 June 2014)
Lovely helpful courier and friendly park, could be noisy at busy times. Jack (24 June 2014)
The location of la rocca is perfect for exploring the lake, it is away from the tourists of the south part of the lakes and within a minute's walk of the lake itself, with local eater's within walking distance. The only down side to this camp site is the proximity of the tents as they are very close together and we could hear the tent behind ours snoring. Amy (22 June 2014)
The area was very nice & the eurocamp courier was excellent. However the toilet & shower facilities were too far away from our tent and the some of the toilet facilities were very basic. Cj (20 June 2014)
For a camping holiday this was really good. Don't expect posh, but good honest, basic facilities and a price to match. This was our second year and we would honestly consider a third. Barbara (19 June 2014)
Had a scorching week at rocca, and enjoyed it very much! . not the biggest site in the world, but it's got everything you need, nice pool area, bar shop and good clean facilities. It was fairly quiet when we were there, so not sure how it would be when very busy. . access to the "beach " is nice, with a few bars/restaurants on the lakeside, and plenty more a stroll away. Also a 20 minute wander up to the town with more choice again. . the only real downside was the size of the pitches and how close they are, but to be honest, still fine. . overall recommended! Peter from Sittingbourne (17 June 2014)
The parc is in a really nice location, right by the beach and near a nice little village and some good restaurants. The facilities in the parc are all clean and the pool is nice. The only drawback is that the pitch sizes are quite small, much smaller than other eurocamp parcs I have stayed. This was not a problem as the parc was quite empty when we were there but I think if the parc was full it would be quite crowded. The courier was very friendly and helpful. Overall a great holiday! Jessica from London (08 June 2014)
This is the best level of care given by the eurocamp rep at this site. We have stayed at a few. The accomodation was clean and tidy the only one thing I would say is that the blankets need washing between guests. They are definately not laundered. We just didnt't use them. But everything else was great. Thank you Anna from York (24 August 2013)
Campsite pool was lovely, shower block and wcs were spotlessly clean. however tents so close together meant zero privacy and lots of noise and I would not return here. Helen from Leicestershire (22 August 2013)
Excellent location for lakeside beaches. we thought the campsite had one of the best beaches around the lake. Pamela from Wokingham (17 August 2013)
A authentic italian campsite in a beatiful location. Paul (12 August 2013)
I did not think that this eurocamp was value for money. the campsite was very crowded. there was no toilet rolls in the shower units, the shower unit was dirty by night time. the tents were very close together giving you very little personal space. . I would not recommend to any friend or family. Damian from Bury (07 August 2013)
La rocca is not a toddler friendly park as advertised. Loud music played at the bar in the evenings until 11.30pm. Tents very close together so little room for children to play. Dusty site. Paul from Stafford (30 Jul 2013)
Awful experience! not at all family friendly. Very, very, very rude receptionist. (she made basil fawlty look like the dalai lama). party to excess atmosphere. Noise including 'euro music' disco beating out until the small hours. Young people throwing up throughout the park from too much alcohol. We as a family, stayed out as long as we could (midnight and after). lake garda is wonderful but this campsite is one of the worst we have ever had the displeasure to have stayed at. Michael from Durham (29 Jul 2013)
The campsite was lovely and quiet. Great location near to the lake and within walking distance to a very pretty marina. Pool was lovely with lots of area to sunbathe. Great for small children as it was quite peaceful with a playground on site too. Good location for getting to other parts of the lake by ferry too. Toby from Yorkshire (28 Jun 2013)
We arrived and was greeted by the courier who was most helpful and available at all times if needed, the tent was clean and very well equipted the camp pool was lovely and the toilets and showers were spacious and kept very clean we would return again Jane from Westonzoyland, Somerset (27 Jun 2013)
Good parc, always tidy and clean. Weather exceptional for june. Easy to get around to explore the area. Although we spoke little italian the people were always willing to help, having some germanmay have been useful as this was an area with lots of german speakers. Catherine from Rugby (21 Jun 2013)
The location of this parc is fantastic. It is close to salo which is my absolute favourite town on the lake. Very beautiful and elegant. The parc itself is next to the lake and the best part about it is that it is less than a 10 minute walk along the lakeside to a marina where there are numerous good bars and restaurants. Being able to walk here every evening for a meal and drink really made our holiday. So often such parcs are not within walking distance of other dining options. . Simon from Birmingham (08 Jun 2013)
Lovely parc. good showers. Excellent courier. Only comment is bar on site was slightly expensive. Julia from Kenilworth (31 May 2013)
A good site but this area of lake garda is heavily visited by people from austria and germany and has a strong austrian atmopshere. we were often greeted in shops with guten tag rather than buongiorno! if you want to feel you are actually in italy, other sites, closer to verona would be more suitable. John from Plymouth (25 May 2013)
Parc was small but had sufficient amenities. jürgen was especially friendly however we left early as the classic tent could not withstand the large amounts of rain with the main section becoming completely flooded. If the weather was nicer im sure our stay would of been much more pleasant. Gillian (22 May 2013)
Had a fantastic week camping at la rocca. Juergen was brilliant and most helpful. All the facilities were great and the tent included everything you could need. Would (and have) highly recommend to others. Jamie from Portsmouth (22 May 2013)
