Very good holiday. no milk for 2 days could have had long life i'm sure they would have sold it.
Alan from North Walsham Norfolk. (19 September 2015)

A lovely holiday at la cote de nacre. the parc is lovely and the pool superb. the only downside is there is nowhere decent to eat in the town. however, a short drive away is courseilles sur mer where there are restaurants abounding.
Colin from Ashford, Kent (12 September 2015)

Noisy neighbours made our first few nights unpleasant as they made a lot of noise until 1am.however,our request to move was acted upon by the couriers quickly and we relocated to a very quiet caravan(309).
Robert from Dorset (12 September 2015)

Lovely campsite. Everything you need there. Restaurant serves good food at very reasonable prices. Go for a caraf of wine not a bottle. Good location near to historic sites all worth a visit. Eurocamp staff very helpful, polite and pleasant. Choice of pools to suit swimmers and fun seekers. We will definitely consider going back next year.
Maurice from Birmingham (12 September 2015)

The area, the town, the parc are all exceptional. The eurocamp staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. The accommodation was disappointing (see below)
Mark from Poole (12 September 2015)

A nice park close to the town and beach (easy walk). park is very pleasant and the water park is very good (as long as the weather has been good (not heated)). some entertainment to get involved in if you wish (run by french company who manages the park and not eurocamp). had zero involvement with eurocamp staff after initial welcome. Park not the best facilities wise, entertainment certainly not the best, local town not the best and the beach not the best however as a complete package, this is a nice area and good base.
Paul from Kenilworth (06 September 2015)

Kids club was only 20 mins no good for anybody ??
Michael from Hull (06 September 2015)

The parc was good really handy for walking into st.aubin. Good location for ww2 beaches and some lovely seaside towns in dives and honfleur.
Neil from Preston (05 September 2015)

Unfortunately we were given a very dirty caravan. we did complain but we weren't moved (despite the park being very quiet) instead one of the eurocamp reps came and gave it a clean. it made it slightly better but as it was so disgusting it still wasn't great! for example, we all had to wash our feet before getting in bed!
Carly from Nottingham (04 September 2015)

Good camp good holiday , few minor issues with accomodation which let it down
Richard (01 September 2015)

Accomodation was very poor and given a choice I would have not stayed.
Nicky (31 August 2015)

The parc was fine but the mobile home was of an unacceptable standard. We left after just one night. We could not stand to spend anymore time there. A massive disappointment.
Imogen from London (31 August 2015)

Good, weather let down, pool good, not a lot local however
Anthony from Billingham (30 August 2015)

Enjoyed by the whole family. Couriers so helpful despite our late hour of arrival and the park was great. Highly recommend!
Amanda from Tewkesbury (30 August 2015)

Lovely site, superb location, close to town and normandy beaches, lots to see and do.
Janina (29 August 2015)

Sadly the only thing that ruined our holiday was the weather, constant rain for 5 out of our six day holiday in late august was a nightmare!!
Sara from Stratford Upon Avon (29 August 2015)

A really good location from which to explore location attractions and historical sites. The accommodation was as advertised, and the couriers were there and checked on us but were not obtrusive at all. The pools are excellent, but to describe there being 5 is ambitious. The parc is very well set out and perfect for families, with a short walk to a lovely beach and promenade.
Phil from Stoke-On-Trent (29 August 2015)

Liked the site, and the way a little extra privacy was added to each plot with curtain hedges. The pool complex was good and although it was cold when we were there it was the first place our 10yr old headed for. . the area is steeped in history and we found it easy to visit bayeaux, the d-day beaches/museums etc. Found a really challenging rope course at beauregarde aand again our son thoroughjly enjoyed the 3 1/2hrs we spent there. It looked a fantastic beach but we just didn't have the time to make full use of it.
Mark (29 August 2015)

Very dated accommodation
Steven from Derbyshire (26 August 2015)

We had a fabulous week! would definitely come again! parc was lovely and perfectly situated close to beach and local shops. We enjoyed the daily walk into the village to buy our bread and meat from the local boucherie and boulangerie and would highly recommend them. The local huit a huit was also not too far to walk to and had a good selection of foodand drink at rreasonable prices. the local bus was only a 5 min walk away and we enjoyed at trip into caen for the day again the cost very reasonable. Driving proved simple enough for a firat timer and I would thoroughly recommend the parc and area to anyone.
Kim from Sandown, Isle Of Wight (25 August 2015)

Makes for a great family holiday destination. Been 2 years running and would totally recommend it. . only negative is that the food in the on site restaurant could be slightly better - although it is certainly not bad value for money.
Neil from Manchester (25 August 2015)

La côte de nacre is very well placed for local beaches and an ideal base to explore the d-day landing sites. The park it self is entirely chalet style accommodation and it all seems very squashed in, there is little open space. The pool is pretty good and there is a bouncy castle area which was good for the small kids (and boisterous bigger kids). the pool enforces the rule of tight swimming costumes - no swim shorts allowed, we and several other families fell foul of this and not surprisingly the shop does a good trade in tight swimming trunks for about 9e a pair. (it cost my family 36e to swim!). the shop onsite is well stocked but very expensive (there are local (super/hyper)markets nearby though). the accommodations are very small, larger families will feel squashed into them and like any kind of tin can they get very hot inside (there is a fan). we only stopped by for 2 nights to break up our onward journey, any longer would have felt very claustrophobic but then we are a family of 5 and used to lots of open space.
Steve from Harrogate (23 August 2015)

Great base to explore the d day landing beaches. The parc had great pools. The restaurant on site was good but only had a limited menu. We did have a problem with our electricity in our caravan and it took a while to sort out. Would recommend holiday to others.
Claire from Exeter (22 August 2015)

The holiday parc was very pleasant- great pitches with shrubs to give a sense of privacy , interesting diverse european people providing a good mix of cultures, swimming pool was great but very busy, supermarket providing good quality basic food and essentials, good fast food restaurant/take away on site. There is great local points of interest like d-day landing beaches and liberation of europe and bayeux tapestry and william the conqueror. The local town centre, great sandy beaches, supermarket and food shops short walk away, local equestrian centre was great for horse rides on the nearby beach and cheap price. Our cottage accommodation was good but let down by poor maintenance of interior facilities - the lounge seating upholstery was badly stained and felt unpleasant to sit on, gas ring on cooker didn't work, shower pole was broken and bottom of shower door rubber skirt damaged causing water to leak on floor. Also on arrival the accommodation smelt strongly of stale tobacco. For the money we paid we felt the standard of presentation was less than we expected. Otherwise the accommodation would have been great
Jenny from Eastbourne (22 August 2015)

Where do I start. The accomadation was terrible, staff surly, pools dirty. The only saving grace is we were able to visit the d day memorials and museums. We left our holiday early due to the awful holiday. I would not recommend this parc to anyone.
Jeremy from Chesterfield (21 August 2015)

Sadly it took me 4 days to get them to allow us to use the skating rink, I had every excuse for it was dangerous to the lady was only working for 30mins so there was time to open it. My children are avid ice skaters it was a shame the lady couldn't be bothered to open it yet it was a facility we paid to use. Other than that the holiday was brilliant
Sarah (21 August 2015)

Lovely parc could do with more english speaking kids things in the evening.
Simon from Aylesbury (21 August 2015)

Not very clean accommodation, window lock was broken. A bit smelly. The restaurant food was good and staff. it would be nice to have information on local farmers market available at the office. We found out by chance that st aubin-sur-mer has one on a thursday and sunday 07:00ish to 13:00ish.
Neil (20 August 2015)

The campsite was quite big, with lots of people and plots close together with not a lot of space surrounding the mobile home. barriers on park, however just open as you drive up to them, so we didn't feel as secure with the kids going off.
Juliet from Birmingham (19 August 2015)

Nice parc, ideal location close to the beach, good cycle routes and good access to d day sites.
Stephen from Huddersfield (18 August 2015)

Didn't live up to expectations.
Tracy from Powys (15 August 2015)

Great parc for the family. Ideal location for going out and doing things too.
Duncan from Wakefield (15 August 2015)

We had a great time in the loire and the eurocamp site was excellent with excellent couriers.
Darren from Waterlooville (15 August 2015)

Eurocamp staff welcoming. Some french staff in restaurant very rude, others lovely. . . brittany ferries toilets have a lot to be desired and staff did not respond to issues with toilet blockage in 2 out of 5 main toilets.
Richard (14 August 2015)

Excellent site, pools are great, bar and restaurant have good meals. Lots of places in area to visit. Lovely beaches. Site shop didn't sell newspapers this year, but st aubin is only a short walk away.
Jacqueline from Liverpool (12 August 2015)

Great site. Found the couriers to be unhelpful when our gas bottles were taken. The courier told us that the campsite had also taken around 20 bottles which had been bought for eurocamp customers!
Tim from Notts (10 August 2015)

Enjoyed normandy, accomadation was too basic, toilet was temperamental and wouldn't always flush, took two days to receive linen pack we had booked. Equipment inside such as utensils and plates wasent that good. We enjoyed the holiday but would have to have a higher spec caravan in future, classic plus was too basic for us as a family.
Matthew from Portsmouth (10 August 2015)

We had a wonderful holiday. Plenty to do in the parc without it being too busy or nosy. Very well located to visit local beaches, museums etc.
Jane from Bishops Stortford (10 August 2015)

The overall experience of this holiday was excellent, the travel to the parks was easy and stress free. both parks I stayed at had good facilities for young families, were well maintained with exceptionally helpful and friendly staff from the eurocamp couriers to the parks own personnel. the areas around the parks were excellent and the holiday guide very useful in enabling myself and my family to maximise our time whilst we were there, no compaints.
Paul from Gosport (06 August 2015)

Beds are very small !. . if you are more than 2 adults get two separate 'caravans' because let's face it this is what they are!!. . nice camp though and good facilities. . . great for 2 adults with 2-4 kids ( as long as kids are small < 1.55m)
Damian from London (06 August 2015)

Great location, amenities, food and entertainment unfortunately the accommodation was of a poor standard
Rebecca from Birmingham (06 August 2015)

This is our fifth holiday with you. We had a lovely time but unfortunately the normandy weather could have been better.
Richard from Peterborough (04 August 2015)

The facilities were not sufficient for the size of the parc.
Lyndsey from Coxon (04 August 2015)

Great time had by all
Elizabeth from Knighton (03 August 2015)

Fantastic site, fantastic location. Kids had a ball, there was plenty to do on the site and was also in a great location for site seeing. The camp is in the middle of a housing estate so can walk to the local shops and beach in under 5 minutes. Would definitely go back.
Sharon from Bathgate (03 August 2015)

Very helpful staff, quick to respond to issues. Worrying that the boilers pilot light kept going out and on reflection I should have check as I don't recall a carbon monoxide alarm anywhere.
Gavin from Caen (01 August 2015)

The location of the park was perfect for all of the normandy sight seeing and the beaches. The park was good especially the water park however the eurocamp accommodation was dated and in need of an upgrade.
Mark from Holmfirth (31 July 2015)

Our caravan was like new with a lovely decked area. It was close enough to walk to the beach & restaurants on the front. It gets cold on a night though so take a coat. The kids play area was great nice climbing frame & 3 bouncy castles. The pool area was great lots of different areas to choose from including an indoor bit. The slides were fun & although there were life guards at times they sat at the bottom of the slides with kids at the top not knowing when to go. We saw a few people get accidentally kicked in the head at the bottom. The staff in the restaurant on site weren't very helpful & at times we were all ignored at some point. Be prepared to wait a while before getting served. The park was near enough to caen & all the other sights like pegasus bridge & landing beaches.
Ali from Huddersfield (30 July 2015)

Fantastic time in normandy , good weather lots to do and see,
Sharryn from Pembrokeshire (30 July 2015)

I had to buy 3 pairs of budgie smugglers as the very strict pool attendant would not allow shorts. They were 21 euros! the campsite shop is a rip off and you should take the 5 minute drive to hyper u to avoid their scandalous prices. . far too few sunbeds at the pool and it was amass with teenagers at night near the bar. . couriers were excellent and sorted all the problems we has with the gas. The rooms was spacious and free of wasps! . 10 minute walk to the coast with some nice restaurants. They like the english in normandy!
Mark (30 July 2015)

Excellent holiday. Our son (age 13) loved the pool. We stayed in a classic plus but unfortunately he couldn't fit in the bed! warning:the small bedroom will only sleep small children no older that 9 or 10 at the most.
Rachel from Herts (26 July 2015)

There was not a suitable facility for a retired couple who like a campsite situation. The bedroom was far too small to be able to move around the bed or even make it.
Michael from Belfast (24 July 2015)

Nice area
Anne (23 July 2015)

This site was only a rest before we traveled home by boat from cean
Mark (23 July 2015)

Had a really great time-parc is well situated near the lovely town of st aubin.d day beaches and bayeaux very near and lots to do.``
Jane from Sudbury (20 July 2015)

A good holiday on a very well located parc.
William from Cardiff (19 July 2015)

Only a stop for a couple of days on way down south, but nice park. lovely pool, nice meal in the restaurant with band playing and another with amazing seafood on the sea front. Visited bayeux and arromanches and had a day on the beach - we went along the coast to a good beach but still a bit seaweedy - think others further along would have been even nicer.
Suzie (19 July 2015)

Superb holiday. Campsite excellent, just as expected. Accomodation really suitable and comfortable. Eurocamp couriers impeccible to be quite honest; helpful, keen, available, warm friendly staff.
Andrew from Glasgow (02 July 2015)

We were in a very busy part of the site, but pleasantly situated on the edge with high hedges each side. easy walk to the main facilities, but not too close from a noise point of view. the big plus with this site is being able to walk easily into the town and to the sea front for a meal and watch the sunset.
Peter from Maidstone (29 June 2015)

Our first visit to this site, and because the couriers and restaurant staff were so friendly we shall, hopefully, revisit in the future
Julian (29 June 2015)

Excellent base to explore normandy from.
Robert from Catsfield (29 June 2015)

Fab location for exploring the history of the area. park staff couldn't do enough to help.
Leanne (29 June 2015)

An enjoyable holiday even if the accommodation was a bit tired
Martin (28 June 2015)

Really good park caravan was clean smart good value for money
Sarah (26 June 2015)

Overall the camp was a great place. We felt the chalet we stayed in was just a little too basic, with the second bedroom really very small. We had two children who struggled to sleep well in their room.
Matthew from Indiana, Usa (26 June 2015)

An overall enjoyable holiday, good weather for nearly 3 weeks longer than they had it in england. 3 nice sites, two excellent sets of couriers on the main sites. Saw lots, many photos & memories, will happily do most of it again
Customer 66 from Brum (26 June 2015)

Excellent location for all of the normandy history. Easy access to all of the d-day sights.
Andrew from Norfolk (24 June 2015)

A wonderfull holiday looking at the exertions of our forbears in the second world war.
Bill from Bristol (22 June 2015)

The holiday was what I wanted but a bit disappointed with parc & staff.
Kerri from Antrim (22 June 2015)

Fantastic parc location for visiting d day beaches
Wendy from Derby (19 June 2015)

We enjoyed our holiday but felt the camp could do with some tlc. the bar area by the pool could do with some modernising with a view into the pool area and the evening entertainment area was very basic with no atmosphere. I don't think we would go back to this particular camp.
Vivien from Crawley (18 June 2015)

This camp is very good but would benefit from using the port of caen instead of calais we would certainly use it more often as more people have expresd interest and want it to be annual. One more thing bar prices are quite expensive
Anthony from Rochdale (15 June 2015)

On arrival there were no staff to greet us at euro camp. when we were finally met the manager who showed us around wasn't the most communicative and looked very scruffy. the accommodation wasn't clean and was poorly maintained and looked nothing like the website photos. there were light bulbs missing, rusty radiators, an unsightly looking bbq, stains on the wall and everything in the cupboards needed washing up and overgrown, littered lawn plus broken step that wasn't safe. after complaining the site staff spent aporox 2 hrs cleaning inside and out meaning we had no accommodation and had to wait until 10pm to enter, which wasn't good with two 4yr olds and travelling more than 6 hrs. once cleaned and maintained it still looked outdated but bearable for a week. the park it self had good swimming and inflatable castles for the kids but the bar area wasn't great. the area outside the park inc the d day beaches and restaurants were very enjoyable and worth visiting especially as it's seeped in such interesting history. a real shàme the accommodation was so poor and should have complained corporately but didn't. I do have some awful photos of the accommodation but I have also decided not to post as I want to remember the positive experiences of the holiday. hope this us helpful.
Justin from Bradford On Avon (12 June 2015)

Great location. First class service
Fred from Wingate (12 June 2015)

Although early september, the camp felt still "alive"...amenities open and all clean and tidy. couriers looked a bit tired, and end of season-ish.
Sandra (12 September 2014)

The 2 bedrons very good, but 3 bedron very smool.
Catia from Duns (12 September 2014)

A good break
Tina from Walters (12 September 2014)

Lovely site in a beautiful part of france
Margaret from Attleborough (10 September 2014)

Nice relaxing holiday in lovely part of world close to ww2 beaches
Stewart from Glasgow (08 September 2014)

Great location for exploring the invasion beaches and museums of normandie; . a 10 minute stroll to large sandy beach;. parc has good facilities with excellent pool complex;. shop, bar and restaurant offered good service and choice although very expensive even for a campsite, however alternatives are all available within easy walking distance,. hypermarket 5 minute drive away;. city of caen with everything you need and more is just 15 min drive
Jennifer from Northants (07 September 2014)

Excellent site - ideal for young children - we were there in low season and it was perfect but the pool would probably be very busy in high season - there are so many quiet and beautiful beaches very near so plenty of alternatives. high quality play area for children. many interesting and historic places to visit near. We would use this site again.
Elizabeth from Cowbridge (06 September 2014)

Great location for all d day landing historic sites and the ferry ports. . didn't use any of the facilities on parc. Saint aubin sur mer close enough with all conveniences and plenty of supermarches in surrounding places.
Sarah from Andover (06 September 2014)

Camp had everything we needed for our holiday. the caravan was smaller than expected, not the same as uk caravans.
Sheryl from Southampton (06 September 2014)

The only reason the parc not get a 10 was that the out door pool was freezing and the indoor was bearable as the sun was reflecting thru to create a green house effect - hence warmer environment. If the pools were heated this would be a 5 star site. Having said that I will be returningnext year!
Keely from Watford (06 September 2014)

It would be great if there are quality evening entertainment
Customer 85 from London (03 September 2014)

The parc was clean and well kept. The pool had all you could want with slides, waterfall, lazy river etc. The mobile homes were cleaned properly and we received a welcome pack.location of parc was ideal, although not situation on the beach as previoulsy thought, it was only a delightful 10 minute walk away
Sarah from Suffolk (03 September 2014)

Firstly, the swimwear onsite is traditional e.g lycra style trunks for males rather than board shorts, the lifeguards will ask you to change. We visited with children aged 4, 7 and 13. Overall a good site, close to a lovely beach and located in a pretty town. we didn't use the kids clubs, entertainment or bar so can't comment on them. there is a lovely little park for the kids, very new and includes several large bouncy castles. the parc was strict with noise and as such it was quiet by 11, which was lovely as we were close to the entertainment.
Alex from Norfolk (01 September 2014)

Great place, cafe/restaurant great. pools amazing & the kids play area is huge. Supermarket very expensive but there is a huge hypermarket only a 5 minute drive away. caravan was modern and fairly new. very private plots. no concerns about noise as euro camp caravans are in a great spot, some vans/pitches are quite close to the bar, so be careful! really enjoyed it.
David (31 August 2014)

Children loved the swimming pools. Just a pity the weather wasn't a bit better. Eurocamp couriers friendly and helpful. Accomodation although not huge was well equipped and enjoyed the outside patio and table. Site clean and tidy. Nice quiet area.
Julie from Brackley (31 August 2014)

Location - normandy was fantastic. the site was fine, with good accommodation. that said it was the most average site I have been to so far. the quality of service on site was poor and costly. as far as campsites are concerned there are much better ones out here.
Robin from Manchester (31 August 2014)

Had a great holiday all staff were lovely. Pool area really good. Would come again
Jenny from Edenbridge (30 August 2014)

I thout the camp site was a bit over rated in the brochure expensive food and drink as it was basic food and surroundings bad weather kept us in wasn't much to do when bad weather hit so boring really waste of money and travel for us very disappointed
Eric from Hull (30 August 2014)

My kids thourght it was fantastic. Accomadaion nice and clean. Friendly staff and fun already booked next years
Billy (28 August 2014)

Excellent facilities, very helpful couriers, lovely area of france.
Dave from Southampton (28 August 2014)

Stayed here for 2 nights at the end of our holiday. Pool area was good, restaurant, bar area was disappointing and free wi-fi terrible. Not a lot to do in the town and very quiet. Just flies and seaweed on the beach ? time of year. Shop on site was limited and expensive. Wouldn't rush back to this site.
Claire from Leicestershire (26 August 2014)

This camp is excellent the only problem was distance from calias we were told two and half hours journey it is nearly four, and toll cost is around £60 each way so very expensive. If you dont take toll journey is nearly 5 hours.
Phyllis from Hythe, Kent (22 August 2014)

Having already holidayed in paris with an alternative holiday company, I will that eurocamp in my eyes is one of the best caravan and camping holidays. I would like to say I think the expenditure on the new caravans no leads the way in luxury. Having now holidayed with you for the past two year I would not go anywhere else. Your staff are very well focused on what their role is and are available at all times. This is paramount as we forget that some families save up for 12mths and so should feel special. The only thing I would say having been now to 8 sights, is that the parks are getting bigger but the facilities are not. Especially with this park. The area is fabulous and the camp sit really clean. But to state that the band area and the kids complex is in the middle with cars is very dangerous. As we all know we let kids stay out later but they congregate within this area as do car entering and exiting. It is quite dangerous. My daughter rode her bike around and a car came the wrong way due to the above, sating he couldn't see any sign. Well any how subsequently my daughter naturally wasn't looking and fell off. Thank god he was going very slow. Please lets have a few more areas.
Jacqui from Birmingham (22 August 2014)

Very nice parc, good facilities.
Clair from Kings Lynn (21 August 2014)

The site was good. Hedges etc could have done with a trim which would have improved the look. Accommodation good but beds rubbish.
Michael from Cardiff (20 August 2014)

Great holidayoverall in a lovely part of the world.
Confirmed Holidaymaker (20 August 2014)

Staff and eurocamp facilities both excellent especially for kids. Unfortunately our caravan was very damp throughout
Steve from Leicestershire (19 August 2014)

The parc was without doubt the best of the camps we have stayed in over the past three years. Homes were well spaced, excellent facitlities, and close to the town. . the mobile home was in need of some maintenance, leaking shower, toilet, and boiler not working correctly. These were fixed after 4 days, but unfortunate as the faults were known to local staff.
John from Cambridge (18 August 2014)

Lovely couriers, nice camp but could do with english speaking entertainment.
Sandrine from Boston (17 August 2014)

Good holiday only thing I can complain about is the drinks were too expensive.
John from Southport (16 August 2014)

Had a good time, but rainy and storm weather. heated pool helped a lot.
Tom from Windsor (11 August 2014)

We used the parc as a base to explore all of the d day beaches and surrounding areas. the accommodation was very clean and well equipped. we used the on site shop for bread and breakfast goods. we travelled with the dog and had no problems taking her anywhere, ie museums and restaurants. only place we had trouble taking her was the beach. Our 15 year old son used the pool but was disappointed as he said it wasn't very deep. however perfect for smaller children. great facilities for the younger children. Overall we had a fabulous holiday and would recommend eurocamp.
Annie from Leamington Spa (11 August 2014)

Normandy & surrounding areas are a joy to explore and the cote de nacre parc is the perfect base to do this
Daniel from Ashford (10 August 2014)

Great park and location clean all round bar and restaurant nice. The pool was great for the children
Fiona (10 August 2014)

This was our first visit to a eurocamp site, and with two small kids we were just hoping for somewhere we could relax and spend some time together as a family - it really did not disappoint us!. . the chalet we had was clean, modern, well appointed, and the outside deck area was perfect for dining, playing or sunbathing (when the kids allowed us to!). . the site as a whole was lovely too, with a great pool and kids play area, good quality restaurant, a handy shop and laundrette and plenty going on, whilst being quiet enough to be able to sit in peace if you wanted to. . the eurocamp team were lovely too, more than happy to help, polite, courteous and they made a real effort to make sure we had all we needed for our stay. . . I would absolutely recommend this site. We enjoyed it so much that on the day we got home, we booked again for next year!
Neil from Manchester (08 August 2014)

Great holiday , parc very good and perfect location for visiting attractions.
Adrian from Great Bookham (08 August 2014)

Lovely parc. lots to do in surrounding area. disappointed with caravan - esprit - as very small compared to vista.
Nicola from Ingatestone (05 August 2014)

Fabulous holiday on a great site!
Esther from Milton Keynes (05 August 2014)

Very nice park ,not far away from beach or shopping.
Leslie from Wellingborough (04 August 2014)

A bt shabby
Customer 114 (03 August 2014)

Lovely relaxing campsite only 5 minutes walk to a family-friendly beach. Very clean accommodation and helpful, friendly couriers.
Susan from Scotland (02 August 2014)

Only stayed one night but wished was longer we will definitely return
Martin from Leicester (31 July 2014)

An excellent family holiday, with good facilities especially the pool complex. the nearby town and beach was easy to reach. a trip to bayeux on a saturday to its local market is well worth a visit.
Diane from Sheffield (31 July 2014)

Been to this park several times in the past but let down by accommodation
Mark from Swansea (30 July 2014)

Standard/classic accommodation small but clean. Pools nice, not too much noise at night & an easy walk to the beach.
Katherine from West Mids (28 July 2014)

Really nice break only marred by the parc maintenance deciding to use a chainsaw to trim boundaries to each plot while guests were still there. I could understand if it was in the middle of the season and needed to be done. however, this was carried out within two days of the parc closing for the end of the season.
Moira from Solihull (22 September 2013)

Run out of gas 2nd morning went to see rep could not find her went to main recption was told I would have to phone her on the number on the door I told her I did not have a phone so she would do it just this once it was cold so when the rep came to change the gas I told her I had my mother of 85years old with us and needed the fire on for her she did not put full gas bottle on as the last morning I was there I got up to no gas again so we just packed up and left at 8am could not be botherd to go though that with the gas again.
Customer 121 from Kent (21 September 2013)

No real issues with the park other than the pool was way too cold for our baby and 2 year old (and us for that matter). . our villagrand accommodation was pretty awful, dirty with mouldy curtains, dirt in all the corners, and lots of broken stuff that no-one had repaired. . . we were not provided with a deck gate or a fire guard. . . I would suggest going with yelloh!, their accommodation looked much nicer and newer. there were some newer keycamp caravans, I would ask when you book how old the one you'll be staying in is, however, it is likely to still be dirty if ours is anything to go by.
Susanna from Liverpool (21 September 2013)

Chose this site due to proximity to bayeaux and landing beaches.
David from Poole (20 September 2013)

Pleasant & convenient location, for towns and d-day beaches etc. I have problems with mobility, so I couldn't enjoy the walk into st aubin .
Gwyneth from Monmouth (20 September 2013)

Overall a very nice holiday park.
Patricia (19 September 2013)

This is a lovely parc and close to the town and beach, although there is not much town, very few shops and the beach had a lot of seaweed when we went in september. all accommodation was quite secluded and very clean. the pool looked lovely and really inviting, although it was too cold when we went, so we didn't try it. we would have tried the indoor section, but as we were only there for three days, we didn't have enough time.
Colin from Ashford, Kent (16 September 2013)

The campsite itself is great as we been there before, it's quiet that's what we like. Keycamp couriers was helpful, but the accommodation was very poor.
Claire from Chelmsford (15 September 2013)

Very relaxing, nice long prom beside the sea within walking distance of the site, good supermarkets close by.
Michael from Carrick-On-Shannon (14 September 2013)

We only used this as an overnight stay before the morning ferry to return to the uk. It is less than half an hour drive to the ferry port so it is very convenient for this
Gary from Sheffield (14 September 2013)

A very pleasant campsite and a very nice area. Plenty to do especially if your into history and visiting the world war 2 battle/landing sites
Mark from Stroud, Glos (13 September 2013)

A great time was had exploring the d-day beaches and other wwll related sites. The memorial museum in caen is well worth a visit and very though provoking also the american cemitary at omaha beach is very moving. The 360 cinema at arramach is well worth a visit as well.
Paul from Scarborough (12 September 2013)

Overall we enjoyed the holiday but were a little disappointed with the accommodation. Having been to other keycamp sites and been very pleased with the accommodation this one was older and tired they were awaiting on a new shower tray as it was cracked and various other bits needed repair/renewing. Apart from that it did not cause us any problems and the place was very clean and well presented when we arrived.
Margaret from Norfolk (09 September 2013)

We were very pleased the site, thye position of van, and the hedges that separate each van. We very lucky the weather so it really made the holiday.
Janet from Burntwood, Staffs (07 September 2013)

Great holiday and very nice parc..
Shaun from Bath (06 September 2013)

This is an ideal park for touring the d day beaches also a great place to be able to get to different towns of interest.
Wendy (04 September 2013)

Had a lovely holiday overall. we were very blessed with the weather and as it was the last week in august the parc was not too full. the site was clean, well laid out and the children loved the pool. we ate in the restaurant/cafe on site one evening and the food was very good and the service excellent. our only complaint would be able the lack of space in the bedrooms of the caravan we were occupying.
Joy from Worksop (03 September 2013)

Brilliant holiday couriers very helpful and polite.
Donna from Merthyr Tydfil (02 September 2013)

Great accommodation. Couriers very accessibble and helpful, both french and english. Staff very helpful and reassurring when booking on the phone also. Well done overall, great service.
Alycia from Derby (31 August 2013)

We only used the parc as a one night stop over on the way home as we had an early ferry home from caen. The parc was really conveniently located and ideal for the port but unfortunately the loud drumming (some short of show) went on until 2215 and therefore scuppered our early night as none us could get to sleep. This was only one night however - I think we were just unlucky!
Confirmed Holidaymaker (30 August 2013)

Stayed for 3 nights on this park. Was a last minute decision to go away for a few days. We took our 5 year old, there was loads for him to do. This parc is quite weather dependant though the weather was amazing when we went blue skies and hot sun, but most things are outside for the kids to do so had it been raining we would have been a little bored I feel. But great park nonetheless.
Simon (30 August 2013)

Went with my sister, her two (adult) daughters and my ederly mother for a short break. Had a great time.
Patrick from Romford (29 August 2013)

Just what we hoped for, simple, pleasant and as described on the website
Cliff from New Malden (28 August 2013)

Had a lovely time. Only little thing was the double bed room was a bit small the bedroom was compremised because of the size of the lounge/kitchen area.
Ad from Norwich Norfolk (25 August 2013)

Only one night for ferry next day but would now consider a week in normandy after seeing parc and getting idea of surrounding area and things to do. Husband loves history so normandy beaches here we come..
Alison from Mk (25 August 2013)

The pools were very good and the kids enjoyed them, however the night entertainment was very poor (not enough chairs or covered areas. Food very bad on site (we needed to go down town every night) would go again but book through tomson as they are better equipped caravans.
Mrs Mckenna from Normandy (24 August 2013)

A lovely area, ideal location to visit all of the d day landing beaches as well as relaxing on site, walking to the beach and along the lovely promenade. a clean and tidy site, evening entertainment very loud and did continue well after the 10pm all quiet rule but it didnt spoil our holiday.
Beverley from Ossett, Wakefield (22 August 2013)

After last year's disappointment with keycamp, to be honest we wouldnt have booked again apart from the fact that we had a credit with yourselves. I have been to this park before some 13 years. I wasnt disappointed this year and would certainly book again.
David from East Yorkshire (22 August 2013)

Children loved camp especially swimming pool, ice skating and camp. Adults enjoyed all places of interest came back relaxed after an enjoyable holiday.
Joanne from Beverley (22 August 2013)

Great - we love this parc so much it was our 4th year visiting it!! location and facilities are superb!
Michael from Ripon (22 August 2013)

A very relaxing, child friendly parc with just enough to keep the children occupied so as not to use the bored word. the caravan needed a little tlc in the decor department but was clean and comfortable. all keycamp staff were polite and helpful. would definitely return in the near future.
