The overall holiday experience was enhanced by the brilliant weather. The parc is lovely with fabulous views and with an excellent restaurant. The couriers are experienced, friendly and helpful and although more expensive in the new aspect accommodation was still good value. Vivienne from Sale, Cheshire (17 September 2015)
Il collaccio was a peaceful campsite with great views of the mountains. The swimming pools were both well kept and the small bar by the private pool was lovely to sit at with great views. The restaurant was really nice and even did gluten free pasta dishes. It was a great holiday and I would definitely recommend this campsite. Julie from Cambridge (01 September 2015)
We had the most relaxing and lovely holiday at il collacio. it is a gem of a place which suited our family very well. the scenery, people, food, chianti and every experience of umbria was spot on. we loved it! Gill from Amersham (30 August 2015)
Beautiful setting. Great yoga in the morning. Restaurant amazing. Only downside is that bike for hire did not have child seats so we were limited on the cycle hire, although was very hilly. Caroline from Aylesbury (30 August 2015)
Excellent parc nice restaurant and pool area. Tent brilliant. No hot water one evening and plagued by aggressive horse flys. Beautiful surroundings would consider a 2nd visit. Customer 5 from Manchester (29 August 2015)
Parc is wonderful and themq staff are great. Restaurant is fantastic and the facilities are very clean. . euro camp couriers were grumpy ( that's when we saw them!).we only had anything to do with them, thankfully, on the first and last day and both times barbara was miserable and quite rude, no customer service what so ever. By contrast the parc staff could not be more helpful , maybe you could get them to train your couriers! . . on our last day she stuck her head into our tent at 9.30 and asked how much more time we would need, check out time is 10! we were completely ready to leave by 10 but did not appreciate being hassled to get out early with 2 kids! . . I worked for eurocamp in paris in 1988. I hope we provided better customer service, the couriers now don't even have to clean the accommodation, it's an easy job to meet and greet! I think you need to emphasise customer service more in your training! Sarah from Surrey (29 August 2015)
Great clean quite campsite, that still had plenty of activities for children,. the owners of the campsite were extremly helpful, as where the eurocamp couriers. the restaurant on site was wonderful, and all staff were extremly helpful and polite. free yoga classes each morning were fab. Overall holiday was fantastic, and we will be going back again. Claire from Countryside (26 August 2015)
We had a fantastic time at il collaccio, castelvecchio di preci this summer. we stayed in one of the brand new "aspect" range accommodation, which was effectively brand new. comfortable and modern with fantastic views. a tranquil environment, the park is set in the most spectacular environment, and is centrally located for being able t explore the region. the staff were super friendly, and the food was to die for. all in all - a fantastic experience! Paul from Dorking, Surrey (24 August 2015)
Beautiful umbria; this campsite is stunning. the eurocamp accommodation (both safari tent and new aspect cabin) is situated with the best views. The site is set on a terraced hillside. At the top is reception, a beautifully maintained pool, bar, small astro pitch, table tennis table and fabulous local village restaurant. We have never been to italy on a family holiday before so this holiday was the best introduction you could wish for. The area is breathtaking, the food incredible - we visited norcia and spoletto and swam in lago di fiasdra. The mountain chairlift gave a panoramic view over hills in the national park. There is pilates, cooking and walking offered by the campsite itself. it is a very relaxed, quiet campsite. many italians, dutch and some english. we loved it and will return as we did not have time to explore everything. It is hard to see past the excellent on site restaurant but the one at the bottom of the hill is s total taste of the local area, incredible. The 2 couriers are pleasant and have plenty of local knowledge. Jfp (23 August 2015)
Absolutely brilliant site in a beautiful place - cannot wait to go back. Best eurocamp site we have been too. Gabby from Tiverton (21 August 2015)
A really beautiful site with lovely large pitches - ours has a wonderful view and we weren't overlooked at all. Bathrooms and washing up areas were spotless whenever we used them. We tended to use the smaller lower pool which was a lot quieter - larger one was also used by site visitors for a charge so got very busy at times. Restaurant food was delicious and enjoyed by all of us. The site shop was tiny so def worth stopping by tiny eurospin supermarket on your way. French bread and milk can be ordered and collected everyday and a grocer comes twice a week with fresh fruit and veg which was all lovely. A very restful spot. We visited assisi, spoleto and marare from there. Carina from Surrey (14 August 2015)
We were fortunate to book one of the aspect mobile homes. These are truly amazing at this site. Located on the side of a hill, the porch has a view to die for over a traditional italian valley and the village of preci. The surrounding area is rural, mountainous. There is not a great deal to do, but it is great just relaxing on your veranda, going for a morning or evening walk, and visiting the pool. Colin (10 August 2015)
The site was superb. It felt like an authentic camping experience in the "real italy." the surrounding area was stunning but the site would be unfeasible without a car. Ciara from Northern Ireland (26 July 2015)
Good site, great area. Will visit again. Brendon from Coventry (19 July 2015)
Stunning location and awesome views from our tent. Restaurant was lovely. Pool was super clean. Our children loved it. Simon (11 July 2015)
Relaxing week in great accomodation amongst stunning scenery Elaine (06 July 2015)
We arrived, after one of our self-imposed roadtrip-style long drives, extremely tired and twice as much in need of a break!. . the safari tent was a huge wow. My husband hadn't looked at any of the detail before we left and his expectations were exceeded by a very big margin. We've stayed in classic tents before, but this is a completely new experience. . . the park we did know, and that has just got better too. This was our first eurocamp since the children moved to indendence, and I can see we'll be doing more. Kate from Rye (20 June 2015)
Very good accommodation and lovely setting. will book for next year. . Anthony from Dorchester (11 June 2015)
This parc is in a beautiful setting with well maintained facilities, good sized pitches, an excellent restaurant and friendly staff. We stayed in a safari tent which had a lovely view over the valley and had everything we needed in it. The covered decking area was great for both rainy and sunny days. A fabulous holiday - we didn't want to leave! Normans from Stockport (06 June 2015)
This park was perfection! if you want to know what real italy is, then this is the park for you. The setting, facilities, staff and food were amazing! . the view from our safari tent was breath taking and I could have stayed there forever! . it was the best introduction to italy I could have hoped for myself and my family - thank you to everyone there. Emma from Stoke-On-Trent (02 June 2015)
A real gem! great parc, great location. Darren from Naples (30 May 2015)
Superb in every way. The campsite restaurant was lovely and the couriers were obviously passionate about the area Judy from High Wycombe (22 May 2015)
A superb quiet holiday with fantastic weather. The standard of accommodation was excellent and the couriers were helpful & efficient. Claire from Droitwich (17 May 2015)
A stunningly beautiful location which you would find hard to beat for scenery, friendly staff and on-site food anywhere in europe. the local area provides a real taste of italy with small villages and local umbrian towns that makes you feel so relaxed. Without doubt ii collaccio is a place that will leave you wanting to return. Brian from Warrington (06 May 2015)
Excellent holiday, great accommodation and views. Phil from Cambridge (03 September 2014)
A very family friendly camp park, with lots to do from swimming, pilates, yoga, tennis, cookery, art etc with the bonus of stunning views in every direction. It's a perfect place to start a fitness campaign because the site is hilly, we counted 200 steps from the tennis court at the bottom to the reception at the top.the onsite restaurant is excellent and the staff could not be more helpful. We ran out of time during our 2week stay to fit everything in that we wanted to do, and are already planning a return next year. Julia from Tunbridge Wells (30 August 2014)
Never been on holiday to the same place twice before, but liked it so much last year just had to come back. It didn't disappoint. David from Dover (30 August 2014)
We had a wonderful time at il collaccio. the parc and its setting are beautiful, the restaurant on site was wonderful, we had lovely accommodation and the couriers were very helpful. great for walking, rafting, exploring or just relaxing by the pool. we also made it to the beach one day which, although 1.5 hours drive (ish) there were some lovely places to stop off at on the way back. the owner of the parc will also drive people out to locations so that they can walk back (early in the morning to avoid the heat) which we enjoyed. We would definitely recommend. Customer 28 from Bristol (20 August 2014)
This is our second visit. we love this campsite. It is predominantly quiet. when sitting outside your tent, you can hear a little noise from people playing at the pool, otherwise it is peaceful. it is a small authentic camp and very relaxing. Ruth from Muscat, Oman (18 August 2014)
Wonderful place to stay, beautiful location and great value for money. Very little else could be asked of the site, perfect for peace and quiet and ideal for exploring the local area. Due it's remoteness it will encourage venturing further afield and local walks Bruce from Coventry (17 August 2014)
Fantastic site, very friendly. Views to die for. Highly recommend the aspect homes which look out over preci. The restaurant is good value, especially the pizzas. Only fault I could pick out is the condition of the tennis court. The surface wasn't good and some of the fencing was overgrown with weeds. A minor issue for us but might be more important to others. Best site we've ever visited overall, made for a great holiday. Pete from Plymouth (15 August 2014)
We had a short break re-visiting this site which we had stayed on some 10 years before. The location is good - remote and picturesque. The scenery in the national park is spectacular and the site is a great base for seeing it. Our only problem with the holiday was that it rained on both of our full days on the site - for all of the day on one of them. Not a lot eurocamp can do about that and mountain weather is always fickle!! we can wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant il collaccio in nearby preci - truffle dishes to die for - and the on site restaurant, il castoro excellent food on the door step. Peter from Cheshire (31 July 2014)
Il collaccio parc was fantastic, the setting is beautiful. The parc is very well run, friendly, has an amazing inexpensive restaurant that has very friendly charming staff. The parc is brilliantly laid out and the new euro camp aspect accomodation was great, the view from our terrace was stunning and we had all that we needed and were very comfortable staying there. All in all I would highly reccomend il collacio parc! Shereen from London (30 July 2014)
Everything perfect but charging for an intermittent wifi prob not the best. Think it should be free then we don't mind it not working! but overall good. Judy (26 July 2014)
Good but pity about the weather. For once it was not too good. Paul from Blackford (30 June 2014)
The most amazing views from the park. The bar and restaurant was excellent as were the various restaurants locally. Would certainly return. Liz from Leeds (29 June 2014)
A superb park with helpful couriers with loads of local information. You can relax or stretch the legs walking in the hills. Darren from Shepperton (28 June 2014)
We have not been on holiday with eurocamp before, but took advantage of a half price deal in june. We had an 18 and 16 year old with us who had just finished exams. The parc was amazing, and the pictures do not do it justice. It was immaculately clean and tidy and the views were spectacular. We stayed in a brand new aspect 2 bed mobile home, which was a good choice as we had a lot of rain. Everything had been thought of (wifi, big screen, air con, gas barbie, dishwasher….), and it was very spacious. The 3 pools were beautiful and we had them to ourselves as it was early in the season and quiet. The food in the on site restaurant was delicious and very reasonable. Plenty to do in the local area, but you do need a car. Would highly recommend this parc and region for families with older children or couples. . . Louise from Colchester (21 June 2014)
Fairly basic parc, but located on terraces in an area of outstanding natural beauty, so the views were breathtaking. Fantastic restaurant, lovely food, some dishes quite basic, others a little more fancy. Area is lovely, fantastic for walkers and sightseers alike. Would recommend to anyone (though perhaps the site would be a little boring for teenagers as there was nothing for them to do). Katherine from Naples, Italy (31 May 2014)
We returned to il collacio for the 7th time and it was just as good as we remembered it. Dee from Ashtead, Surrey (24 May 2014)
A beautiful location with the mobile home ideally placed for the best view and the nightingale song. This part of italy is well worth exploring, especially the piano grande. Richard from Shropshire (10 May 2014)
This is a lovely quite, relax and friendly site with 2 excellent pools and some fantastic views of the surrounding umbrian countryside. The onsite restaurant consistently provided good meals at a reasonable price and I believe the description on the website didn't do it justice! Paul from Harlow (31 August 2013)
Excellent, helped by having perfect weather. Tania from Marlow/Amsterdam (24 August 2013)
Fantastic views, brilliant restaurant, nice a quiet site. Louise (05 August 2013)
A really great campsite. lovely staff, amazing views, good facilities in a beautiful region. we would definitely return. Customer 45 from Bristol (02 August 2013)
Fantastic view, beautiful location, memorable setting. Would love to return. David from Dover (28 Jul 2013)
Il collaccio was a beautiful sight with stunning views. It was very well maintained and the family who run the sight were very friendly. We had a relaxing time which was lovely but would have preferred a little entertainment on a few evenings. Perhaps we were there a little early? Patricia from Belfast (07 Jul 2013)
We had a wonderful stay.the courier at castlevecio welcoming and helpful! Maria from Dublin (07 Jul 2013)
A beautiful area of italy which we did not know. Lots to do and see in region. Mailyn from Nottingham (28 Jun 2013)
Superb site, brilliant views of the surrounding countryside, excellent restaurant at good prices, very happy with the overall experience and I would recommend to everybody to visit. Barry from Ledbury (28 Jun 2013)
We have visited this parc before and the views still astound us. Umbria is the green and mountainous area of italy, not as popular as tuscany but we think it is far nicer for scenery, wildlife and roman treasures. here the towns and villages are predominantly hill towns, fully fortified and with lots of roman history, each town brings its own delights. the food - well what can I say, gourmet does not do the food of this district justice. Jean (31 May 2013)
Probably a bit quiet for some people but was perfect for us despite the horrible weather. Duncan from Stevenage (30 May 2013)
Great location, sadly spoiled by terrible weather Gill from Hastings (27 May 2013)
Umbria is a lovely part of italy with some great places to visit such as spoleto. The campsite il collaccio in castelvecchio di preci is in a very rural location, unfortunately for us the weather prevented us using the pool area and from exploring the local surroundings as much as we would of liked. Alan from Wirral (26 May 2013)
We visit this site for access to the wonderful waking in the sibblini park. Vic from Leicester (25 May 2013)
