Friendly and compact parc in okay location for exploring rome. Lagoon pool and entertainment was a hit with our 8 and 10 year old. Good food in the restaurant and well stocked shop on site. Rome was as memorable as ever and good beaches are an hour away. Accommodation would benefit from air conditioning as every other caravan seemed to have it. Take insect repellant as mosquitos are in the woodland. Paul from Herts (17 August 2015)
Great spot to chill out on site and go out and about. Good traditional pizzas etc in busy site restaurant but you can book ahead. Had a good fun vibe. We used shuttle to rome twice. Earlier departure would have worked better from the site for temp etc. We also visited tivoli which was great. Carina from Surrey (14 August 2015)
Parc was good. Eurocamp's part was poor. Shabby accommodation in need of repair. Even though the rep was polite, she seemed to be more concerned about her own experience. Jonathan (07 August 2015)
Had a really good time at barco reale and I pini: great parks, fantastic food, lovely staff. Not so much with baia domizia - very big and not so friendly. Anne from Lonodon (30 July 2015)
We loved being here our rep was excellent and incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The only issue was no air con. I have already told all my friends to go here with eurocamp thanks for a great experience Matthew from Leeds (10 July 2015)
Great camp to use as a base for visiting rome. really good holiday in small friendly camp, ideal for families, where we could do as much or as little as we liked. the excursions from the camp were good value. John from Renfrewshire (06 July 2015)
Great location to easily get to by car. Park was nice and clean, on site restaurant was great and pool was the perfect size for small children. I cut my foot badly on the underwater metal drain in the baby pool, which was a real shame. Needs some attention. The kids club wasn't suitable for our four year old despite being advertised as so. Advertised activities were regularly changed last minute and late to start. Not differentiated for younger ones, which left my son feeling inadequate as he couldn't do it. Would also suggest some melamine/plastic plates, bowls and cutlery are available at the homes for the children. It was disappointing this wasn't the case. A lot of the evening entertainment felt like it was in rehearsal stage and the staff had perhaps just arrived? David from Derby (04 July 2015)
A great park for families with little ones. Rome is easy to access and would fill any holiday with things to visit and see. The area has little in terms of activities for energetic teens and adults. The site team and euro camp staff are brilliant. Martyn (30 June 2015)
We loved this park. Cathy from Australia (28 June 2015)
It was an amazing holiday. Great staff all round. Excellent accommodation and brill customer service. Highly recommend for kids as entertainment staff are awesome. The only downside is you are quite far out although there is a shuttle bus service to town for free. Trips to rome and pompii at a cost but very reasonable. Denise from Kilbirnie (20 June 2015)
The mobiles homes are tiny, but seasoned campers will probably be fine with this. however, the parc itself was plagued by large (and silent) mosquitos, meaning that we could not use the deck outside and were confined to the mobile home. I was also unimpressed with the many stray cats hanging around the parc the negatives bothered the adults in the party, but our children loved their holiday, and adored the pool in particular, which was scrupulously clean and well maintained. Jillian from London (30 May 2015)
Everyone is so helpful and can't do enough for you and the campsite is so beautiful hidden in the trees. Kerrie from Telford (28 May 2015)
A lovely holiday park, very friendly and helpful. The courier, michelle was extremely helpful and the shuttle bus into town a boon. The only problem we had was with the mosquitos, which was a shame. Otherwise the camp was delightful. Mary from London (14 May 2015)
Had a lovely holiday. Pamela from London (10 September 2014)
Great opportunity for the family to experience italian culture, see historical & beautiful architecture, and have fun in the sun! Dave from Salford (30 August 2014)
Overall the parc was good. the staff were very helpful and friendly. The cleanliness was good and the accommodation was as expected. We did find the nights very cold in the smaller bedroom and would suggest more blankets are provided. Caterina from Bedfordshire (26 August 2014)
We had the best holiday. We didn't want to come home! the mosquitoes were a bit of a problem but though I had a bad reaction I still enjoyed it. The children had a great time in the pool and enjoyed the evening entertainment. The visits to rome and pompeii were really enjoyable Mary from Liverpool (16 August 2014)
We had a great holiday here. The location is good for rome with a daily shuttle bus into rome and the atmosphere on parc was friendly and family orientated. The animation team were fantastic and worked very hard to make sure children (and adults) enjoyed the holiday. Sarah from Bury St Edmunds (15 August 2014)
Great parc. Friendly, helpful rep. Good food at the restaurant. Wonderful kid-friendly pool. Thoroughly recommend this parc for a family holiday! Christy (02 August 2014)
Beautiful site nestled in the woods so plenty of shade. Wonderfully clean and very helpful and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend Customer 20 from Worcester (29 July 2014)
The camp site was nice the caravans well spaced in the wooded area so cool and shady. Ideal for visiting rome, Ian from Lichfield (18 July 2014)
Great holiday overall Angus from Glasgow (12 July 2014)
It was very good. Lovely parc, well run, clean and an adequate restaurant. The weather was hot so made the difference. Sarah from Munlochy (11 July 2014)
Booked this site so we could get into rome, not disappointed we had a great time, the shuttle bus from the site was great value for money. I pini was a good place to relax & the shade provided by the trees was very welcome after the heat of rome. Joan from Leeds (26 June 2014)
Only spoiled by 3 drunken women in the next cabin drinking and shouting until 5:00 am the morning we had to ride on our motorcycle 300 miles, my wife had to go and get security!. park is very clean and the pools are great, easy trip to rome on not so good bus, very hot, no air con. But a very good parc in general, would visit again. Stephen from Sunderland (11 June 2014)
We all had a fantastic holiday. A lot of it was due to the friendly, helpful and accommodating staff at the pace and the eurocamp courier michelle. . . thank you so much for the warm welcome and all your help during our holiday. Elizabeth from Royton (31 May 2014)
The family had a lovely time balancing out days touring rome with days relaxing at the campsite. The eurocamp and I pini staff were great - particulary the children's entertainment team. The pools and restaurant were very good at the site and the accomodation clean and modern. We would be happy to use both eurocamps and I pini again. Rgds gary, brighton Gary from Brighton (31 May 2014)
Had a really good time, good value for money and what we would expect for a camping holiday. Only complaints - the shuttle bus to rome was not running even though this was advertised as a daily service. Extremely disappointed about this. We had to make a very difficult public transport route with two children under 5, there were large gaps of 1-2 hours where we had to wait for the next bus / train and ended up paying for taxis. The whole journey cost nearly 100 euros, took about 2 hours to get there, 4 hours to get back and was very stressful trying to keep children safe from passing traffic, trying to find seats for them on crowded buses, trying to get the pushchair on and off, trying to find the right bus, two hour delays, expensive taxis, tired children and stressed mum and dad. Rome itself was beautiful and we are still glad we went but just a shame about the shuttle bus. . . also wifi was not available as advertised. my teenage stepson was very disappointed. . . the kids loved the pool, the sports facilities and the big 'elfie' character. . the restaurant was reasonable, some meals were nicer than others but large portions, good service and good value for money. . overall had a good time, but the shuttle bus not running really put a dampener on things so would not recommend the site because of this. The staff should recognise that this is an important service and they shouldn't just cancel it. There were 10 people wanting to go that day. Obviously people camping near rome want to visit rome and most don't want to use public transport on their holidays. Sarah from Shropshire (30 May 2014)
We had a great holiday and rome was one of the highlights. Richard (16 May 2014)
Great location, out in the country but easy reach of rome both by park and public transport. Courier was fantastic and all of the park staff were friendly and professional. Mark from Birmingham (10 May 2014)
We had a great time. Rebecca from Gobown (26 April 2014)
We have holidayed many times with eurocamp over the past 10/11 years but this was the worst holiday. The accommodation at I pini is old. The shower was smelly old and not very clean. The toilet was yuk! first few hours spent giving the place a clean. Most disappointing was the position of the eurocamp homes. They are all under the trees on a hill. At no time did we have sun.all the mobiles are under trees in shade so feel damp in the morning and cold at night. Add to this the mosquito problem which makes it impossible to sit out on the dirty old deck. Overall a very disappointing holiday. Would not recommend. Gillian from Rochester (19 September 2013)
Site was ideal for what we wanted as did not need to go to rome. Roy from Staplehurst Kent (17 September 2013)
A very clean and friendly site. We very much appreciated the regular bus service to rome and also the minibus service to the local town.. both were excellent. reception area was excellent.the staff were very helpful. we would certainly use this site again. Peter from Audlem (17 September 2013)
Well run park, clean and tidy, pool complex was well laid out and the staff in all areas were very friendly and helful. Having a car gave you a lot more freedom. William from Wolverhampton (14 September 2013)
Fab holiday, fab parc, fab location. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I pini is awesome, kids loved the pool. Totally family friendly. Accomadation was suitable and clean. The team of children entertainers were just lovely. Our only gripe is that on checking our return ferry time we realized we would lose a night of our holiday! when we asked about getting it changed to a later time we were told it would cost us a further £20. Even though we didn't book the time! very annoying. Terry from Wellingborough (26 August 2013)
Very enjoyable Steve from Tredegar (03 August 2013)
We have been to many parks across europe but this family park with its amazing team of friendly and helpful staff take it to a level above all the rest . . the animation team here were just amazing they really went out of their way to involve and befriend all the kids even in their own time . just a fantastic holiday all round . . also a big thanks to colette our amazing courier who was fantastic Michael from Aberdeen (30 Jul 2013)
After settling in, we enjoyed our holiday at I pini very much. Site staff and facilities very pleasant and welcoming. Very useful bus shuttle into rome. This site made our next site at baia domizia, naples very disappointing. Trevor from Worcester (30 Jun 2013)
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A beautiful setting and an ideal location for access to rome and all it had to offer. Barbara from Middlesbrough (24 Jun 2013)
Fantastic holiday from start to finish Julie (21 Jun 2013)
We've stayed at I pini before in the past because of its proximity to rome. The parc seems to have stood still in that time. It seemed more congested and we were concerned about the access route from our parking place to our mobile - see our review of baia domizia for details. Roland from Uxbridge (20 Jun 2013)
I pini is a lovely park, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Lynne from Largs (08 Jun 2013)
The park was very clean and quiet at night. The caravan we stayed in was under dense trees and therefore not very sunny, so quite cold especially at night. There were lots of stray cats and dogs around that tried to enter our caravan - we did not like this. There were people feeding them which encouraged them around the caravans. The park staff were absolutely super - they went out of their way to help us and the trips organised were very good value for money. They even arranged for a shuttle bus just for us to take us to the local town and get some money from the bank when the machine on the site failed to make a connection and so we could not get any money. We visited pompeii - a trip run by the site and caught the bus from the site to rome. We also visited tivoli which as absolutely stunning and drove into rome 3 times, so it was a busy holiday which is just as well as the weather was not good. Barry from Slough (01 Jun 2013)
The only reason for visiting this parc was its closeness to rome, we used the parc transport everyday to go into rome. very reasonable price. 3 full days in rome and we did not see much at all, we kept running out of time. I cannot imagine how long you would need to spend in rome to see all of its delights? but I would imagine weeks not days. I am glad we went in may, the weather was acceptable, especially when walking, you do not want it too hot. but more importantly we only queued for half an hour to get into the colosseum and the vatican museum, I was told to expect 2 to 3 hour queues. the only bad part was the beggars and street traders, they really push you to part with your money. Jean from Broughton (31 May 2013)
Nice parc with friendly staff and trips to rome. Dennis from Wakefield (31 May 2013)
I pini is a quiet site in may. we had free wi-fi - not sure it always is. adult pool is big enough for a decent swim and a bonus with the poolside bar. The daily coach to rome was very good value at 8 euros return. we also enjoyed the food in the restaurant. Eurocamp rep was very friendly and helpful. James from Thetford (30 May 2013)
Brilliant. The camp bus to rome was so useful (and inexpensive compared to other less convenient ways of accessing rome) Douglas (25 May 2013)
The holiday was spoiled because there was no sun at any time during the whole day on the decking even though it was warm enough to sit out because it was in the shade so where the mosquitos making it impossible to sit out. It would have been ok for a short stay to visit rome Peter from Keighley (24 May 2013)
Lovely park, great setting Lee from Sheerness (18 May 2013)
Great venue if you want the peace and quiet away from the big city of rome. We stayed one week and was able to catch a small coach from the resort every day at 10.30am for only 8 euros a seat return ticket and the coach wuld pick us up again at 6.30pm. A 45minute journey only delayed by 30mins on one day due to fri night traffic we were told. Resort is nice and we stayed in a caravan which was more than adequate for us and our three children. There's a nice restauraunt fo rthe evening and camp staff very friendly but not a lot to do in the evening, but when you have been in rome all day it's just what you want a bit of peace a bit of reasonable priced food and a clean caravan to sleep in. Richard from Rochester, Kent (14 May 2013)
Really enjoyed our time! only thing we found a little disappointing was the lack of mosquito protection in the trees meaning we spent much time indoors rather than enjoying being outdoors enjoying the warm weather in the early evening. James from Didcot (10 May 2013)
