Really nice park in a good location. amazing views from parc of mountains etc but a short drive to lovely coast / beach
Andrew (24 September 2015)

A lovely holiday, weather wonderful, excellent location close to agay beach.
Keith from Cowbridge (14 September 2015)

Very clean, great facilities ideal location
Siobhan from Belfast (12 September 2015)

Beautiful setting, first class park staff, eurocamp couriers first class. Only downside was the spa which was only open on thursday & friday. We will use the site again.
Ian from Blackpool (11 September 2015)

Good holiday, good facilities.nothing too much trouble for staff!.
Christine from Leeds (11 September 2015)

Great site. Eurocamp staff very helpful. The avant is great.
Anthony from Malvern (07 September 2015)

Good location and facilities
David from Banbury (30 August 2015)

Excellent parc and location
Magnus from Ilkley (29 August 2015)

Couriers were excellent. When we arrived late they organised our accomodation to be all ready for us and organised with the security guard to let us in (we were delayed until 1am). . parc very nice.
Confirmed Holidaymaker (28 August 2015)

Lovely holiday - lovely park - not too large and facilities excellent. on site staff very friendly. owners obviously very focussed on offering the best facilities and experience.
Lesley from Gillingham (14 August 2015)

Totally perfect, brilliant site, cannot fault
Sarah from Stafford (14 August 2015)

The cabin was quite expensive but it was very well presented and had everything we needed. the electricity couldn't cope with high season demands and it tripped off at least once a day although it was easy to get back on. I would say that the riviera area of france is getting hotter and drier with climate change and the forest fires that happened this year will get more and more frequent so avoid july and august as it is no fun being evacuated from the camp during your holiday!
Customer 12 from Stonehouse (09 August 2015)

Great place to stay. Staff were great. Lovely place to have your holiday.
Duncan from Leicester (03 August 2015)

Great park with lots of family activities and great kids club
Confirmed Holidaymaker (01 August 2015)

We had a reasonably good holiday but it would be at the bottom of previous holidays, as it was disappointing and we had some issues with the parc which clouded our overall experience.
Clare from Fleet (30 July 2015)

This area of france is stunning and the parc itself was beautiful however we were not prepared for how hilly the site was. The kids entertainment in the evening was disappointing and we had to pay €2 per child for the mini disco. The service from the couriers when we arrived was poor, actually non existent. We arrived at 2.30pm after a two hour wait at nice airport to pick up our hire car, on arrival we called the number left to no answer, sent a text and after waiting for 20 mins spoke to the courier by phone who simply told us our van was open and ready and they had left a map with our name on it along with the the van number. The site is windy and hilly and maze like, we expected at that time of day to have been met and guided instead we were left to find it ourselves which proved to not be straight forward. The service from the centre parc duo was very disappointing with no interaction. I had to approach them to ask what to do upon leaving and was told they would pop round the night before to talk through what to do however they didn't.
Rebecca from Ware, Hertfordshire (28 July 2015)

The parc was easy to find and get to by driving from nice airport. The main park reception team were very friendly, informative and efficient. The eurocamp reps were friendly and approachable and responded to enquiries quickly. . . the park is a good size, not to big. The pool area is great although if you want a sun lounger then get there early. Varying sizes pools so good for kids of all ages although very young ones will need to be held as there is no splash pool at the main complex. There is a smaller splash like pool on site under cover which is great for the hottest part of the day and young kids love it. Not so much sunshine here for the grown ups though and the pool feels over chlorinated. . . the supermarket is well stocked and reasonably priced. Other onsite a hope we didn't use apart from the takeaway occasionally. . the restaurant was good with really friendly staff, good service and a good menu choice. . . our aspect accommodation was worth the extra money giving us a lot of outdoor decked space for the kids and our pool gear. Inside was clean, smart and felt more spacious than we thought. Air con was a must. . . we love this region as it offers so much to holiday makers of all ages. The touristy food places can become tiresome as the menus are repetitive and the quality isn't always great for the prices.
Kelvin from Midlands (27 July 2015)

Absolutely superb holiday park in a beautiful area and right by the esteral mountains which are a must visit. Plenty of little beaches and most popular towns like cannes and st tropez are not too far away. Saint raphael is a great town but really comes into it's own at night with the market. Frejus beach is lovely. Can be busy but if you take a walk further along it's nice and quiet. Second time we've stayed with eurocamp in this area and have already booked up for same time next year. We stayed in the aspect accommodation and I couldn't recommend these highly enough. Slightly more expensive but totally worth it.
Emma from Sutton Coldfield (23 July 2015)

Better than expected. We were a party of 11 including 5 grandchildren between 2 & 9. The holiday was great for all concerned with excellent facilities including accommodation, restaurant and pool complex
Michael from Knaresborough (18 July 2015)

It's a great spot .that's why we keep going back.the weather, the people, the food the scenery - all hard to beat.
Mark from St.Raphael (14 July 2015)

The parc was great had everything you could want. The parc staff are amazing so friendly and helpful.
Karen (12 July 2015)

Execellent
David from Markethill (09 July 2015)

Great park, great location with lovely park staff and very well run. Only downside would be that out of the 7 eurocamp locations we visited as part of our touring holiday the eurocamp reps only turned up as we had an infestation. Otherwise they wouldn't have been seen. Other customers never saw them at all and they are based on the park.
Jacqueline from Kilmarnock (29 June 2015)

The area was lovely. Parc great but had lots of bugs. We has a wasp nest right near our accommodation so constantly chasing flys. The hours of the shop etc a little restrictive but apart from that good.
Oliver from Kstteribf (27 June 2015)

Absolutely love this place. 5th time of visiting and even booked again for next year - can't wait! aspects are amazing and location of homes is brilliant - would highly recommend but realise now that everyone will want to go. . please can you reserve me the same aspect next year - the one in the middle - no 23? best views and best 'aspect' - pardon the pun
Tracy from Poulton-Le-Fylde (22 June 2015)

Great holiday destination. Caravan was a bit dated.
Rob from Gillingham (20 June 2015)

Good parc on edge of town, sites a bit hilly for us older folk or those with pushchairs. Need car to get arround
Jim from Shaftesbury (15 June 2015)

My family and I have just returned from a fantastic week's holiday in esterel and it really was one of the best holiday's we have ever had. The location is perfect for exploring agay, cannes and st. Tropez etc. The views around the park are breath taking and the park itself is very well maintained with very good facilities.
Ceri from Caerphilly (06 June 2015)

Great holiday, beautiful location near the charming village of ajay
Customer 29 (06 June 2015)

A very hilly parc with steep inclines but also set in a beautiful location with very good access to towns, beaches, supermarkets, mountains. A nice parc with plenty of activities and options.
Michael (01 June 2015)

Another good relaxing holiday at camping esterel. Second week wasn't so quiet as it was the uk's school half term so there were quite a few youngsters about and as always there were a minority few who were noisy late into the evenings. We stayed in one of the new avant models, really lovely accommodation. Larger than average bed in the main bedroom, however we had ordered bedlinen which turned out to be only for a standard double so the bottom sheet was not large enough and also only 2 pillowcases were supplied so having 2 pillows a piece my husband and I had to have a pillow each without a cover. Eurocamp couriers were very friendly and helpful. Mobile phone reception on the site isn't great and wi-fi signal only seemed to be available outside the central bar area.
Jackie from Somerset (29 May 2015)

Lovely clean site set on the side of the esterel hills, but a bit too remote from the local town and amenities. Lack of out of season shuttle services and no local taxis, resulted in more driving than planned. The town of agay is lovely and peaceful, with st raphel providing a more vibrant harbour setting with everything you need.
Ian from Hertfordshire (27 May 2015)

We have been to esterel many times and will continue to do so - really high quality site with everything we want on offer.
Confirmed Holidaymaker (24 May 2015)

What an amazing park, you couldn't ask for more. Set in a very hilly forest with beautiful views and just the sound of nature this parc offers everything should you with to exercise, socialise etc. Or if you simply want to relax and enjoy the stunning location and weather. I found the parc well organised, spotlessly clean and thoughtfully arranged. I took my 4 year old son here for his first foreign holiday and i'm so pleased I did! the facilities and accommodation exceeded my expectations and I can honestly say this holiday was not only the nicest i've ever had but the best value too. I'm really not sure I can find fault and would recommend to families with small children. A car is a good idea for this parc as the nearby beaches and towns-st raphael & frejus- are really worth a visit and for day trips st. Tropez & cannes are great (by boat or car). will be returning next year and staying for longer!
Chronnell from Derby (23 May 2015)

Fabulous.
Mckenzie (17 May 2015)

We had a wonderful time at esterel. the accomodation was clean, modern and spacious. it was very quiet at night, which meant you had a great sleep. It was peaceful if you sat outside and very private as there were plenty of trees and bushes to give you great privacy.
Catherine from St.Austell Cornwall (11 May 2015)

Accommodation very good, well appointed, clean and spacious. Early season deal holiday with a great price made my 1st visit to the french riviera a superb.
Alan from Ipswich (09 May 2015)

I would recommend this park,it is very well kept and in a lovely position. Shop is well stocked and the restaurant and takeaway are good value for money. Only downside is the wifi.
Karen (09 May 2015)

The site is somewhat limited, in that each pitch is very squashed with no sitting out or parking area. on the other hand, it is very close to the med and that makes up for a lot.
Gerald (07 May 2015)

Only negative comment. no public transport outside park. 2k's to nearest bus station. not very good when you don't have a car and in your older (70's) years
Rae from Cairns, Australia (02 May 2015)

Excellent holiday. Enjoyed park facilities.
Louise from Carmarthen (13 April 2015)

Lovely park, just be careful of the drainage channels in the roads
Samantha from Diss, Norfolk (12 April 2015)

An excellent parc that was an ideal holiday base for our family - 2 boys aged 10 months and 3 years. Plenty to do at the parc, lovely lodge that wasn't overlooked or squashed in. Eurocamp were really profesional and freindly and I couldn't recommend them highly enough! a great base to also explore the sights of monaco, cannes etc
Delyth from Cardiff (10 April 2015)

Great park, food nice in the restaurant & take away. Pools ok but visited better due to lack of slides. Arrived late, delays from french strike & couldn't contact courier. Sat in reception 40 min, text courier- no reply. Man rescued us who worked on site!!! never saw eurocamp staff hence low rating. I would like to add that the previous week we stayed at st. Avits & the courier (irish girl) was brilliant.
Katherine (09 April 2015)

The campsite is lovely and the office staff really nice and helpful. The site is very hilly, no good if you're not fit. Quite a drive from town and supermarkets but very pretty and peaceful. Holiday only 8out if 10 as we got caught in air traffic strike but not eurocamp's fault of course.
Alison from Worthing (09 April 2015)

First time at eurocamp, we were very impressed with the activities available. Lovely clean mobile home and surrounding park. Would recommend .
Philip from Beccles (05 April 2015)

Only one sad think no barbecue allowed.
Aurima from London (05 April 2015)

Having eurocamped for about 30 years we were surprised to find the reception had a notice posted on the door "reception unmanned for a week" we did not actually meet the courier until the last night of the holiday, and in fact my son in another mobile did not see the courier at all??? . we actually thought there was no eurocamp courier.
Jim from Persac86320 France (26 September 2014)

Pleasant site.fairly peaceful for the time of year. Plus good weather made it a very enjoyable relaxing holiday
Lin from Surrey (23 September 2014)

Our holiday home was lovely. The parc facilities are good. However the site owners have placed their own caravans in the good locations. The approach road to the parc is an absolute disgrace.
Sandra from East Wellow (21 September 2014)

The holiday was good although there were some aspects of the parc which were not - in part due to the time of year that we were there. For example, the fact the shop was only open in the morning.
Karen from Leigh (21 September 2014)

Fantastic holiday at the esterel parc. Great for young children and adults too with pools to cater for everyone. Esprit chalet accommodation was clean and well stocked with kitchen items as well as hair dryer and fan. Really good value for money, weather was great too, would recommend to friends and family.
Claire from North West (17 September 2014)

An excellent holiday in a parc and area we have been to many times. Weather was even better than usual this year.
Keith from Cowbridge, Vale Of Glamorgan (15 September 2014)

A lovely parc, although very hilly so will keep you fit. Great base for exploring the local area
Dan from Sandhurst (14 September 2014)

Lovely caravan, nice location. Wouldnt want to go when too busy. Poor wifi connection.
Sarah from Leicester (12 September 2014)

A lovely site with good views but rather a steep drive to our mobile home. We found the restaurant too expensive and used the take away instead. We enjoyed the pools and surroundings. We were lacking one or two items we think should be supplied, like a dish cloth/nylon pad.
Graham from East Grinstead (12 September 2014)

Great place to stay - although we were all very disappointed that swimming shorts were not allowed at the pool - it really put a downer on our last day when we had planned to stay on-site all day and go swimming at the pool before travelling back.
Phil (10 September 2014)

We had a fantastic holiday with eurocamp in esterel (helped by the beautiful weather)! the site has good facilities and is very well located on the cote d'azur. we spent quite a lot of of our time on the beach in agay - which was lovely. we had very mixed experiences in terms of the staff at the site. the receptionist who 'greeted' us when we arrived (not eurocamp) was extremely rude and unhelpful (we spoke to others who had also experienced this, however the site manager (sarah) was really lovely. we found the staff at the restaurant quite rude also and therefore only used it once. the staff at the pool and supermarket were lovely though.
Dee from Chester (09 September 2014)

Brilliant from start to finish. Lovely staff, beautiful countryside, so much to do.
Terence (07 September 2014)

Overall great holiday for adults and children. Beautiful, well kept parc.
Farzana from Manchester (05 September 2014)

Aspect lodge made the holdiay. Parc very pretty and pitches very private. However pool complex very small for size of site. But what was worse was the animation team's seamingly hourly dances round the pool.
Jane from Maidenhead (01 September 2014)

We had a rat in iur mobile home, first time after 5years with eurocamp. Also we arrived 7.30 and couriers not there to meet us. Ran out of gas after 2 days was fixed within I hr but frustrating.
Confirmed Holidaymaker (31 August 2014)

This our 4th time at esterel. Good family atmosphere. Seemed more teens this year but they were kept busy by the animations staff. I love the foret d'esterel and the running and mountain biking terrain is superb and just outside the gate. Pool adheres strictly to the one unbreakable french law regarding trunks but is pretty relaxed about diving, inflatables, running, balls etc. A cycle to the beach is easy (long cycle path off of the road for most of the hill down) but it is a buttock firming climb back up. The family next to us managed witha 6 year old with some rest stops. We slept well through any night noise. Campsite shows stop at 11 without fail. Shame that this year we never saw any wild boar.
Magnus from Bradford (30 August 2014)

We found the site smaller than others we have stayed out, but this worked out as a positive for us. We enjoyed being closer to the facilities. . I have read mixed reviews about the pool, but we found the area clean and the basic set up of the area worked for us. We never had a fight over sunbeds either! it was a quiet and calm area, and the three children all enjoyed the camp entertainment: summer dance, pool games etc .. we stayed in the new aspect lodge - cant fault it. It was wonderful. . the supermarket offered basic foods, but 3 miles away is a leclerc supermarket - well worth a few trips too ! . take away food on the site was ok, the children enjoyed the thin crusts pizzas. We didn't eat in the restaurant on site, but others said it was good. We found the location perfect for days out to cannes and st raphael. Agay has a great train option, and went to monaco on the train. . the only thing we had an issue with was wifi. The free wi-fi in the aspect doesn't work, and the on site wi-fi is very poor. Obviously, it isn't going to ruin your holiday, but as we thought we would have wi-fi we left some downloading, location searching etc .. until we got there. But with no 3g and poor wi-fi we ended up in a macdonalds for a coffee and a free download session !!!!. fantastic holiday.
Joanne from Narberth (30 August 2014)

Fab holiday. the kids loved the park. it's a lovely spot and we'll be back.
Andrew from Chester (30 August 2014)

Great lively park. . . it was our 2nd trip here - love the area..
Simon (29 August 2014)

We were dissappointed that although the parc was rated as "lively" it was extremely noisy after 11.00pm! the music didn't start until 11.00pm ish and people were walking around being very noisy at 4.22 & 5.09 in the morning, also vehicles were driving around after midnight. I realise this was not eurocamps fault but it shoild be noted, particularly if you have young children. we definitely would not go there again, although the eurocamp reps were great.
Jacqui from Brough (29 August 2014)

A great holiday and plenty to do.
Tim from Norwich (26 August 2014)

Excellent location to stay if you have a car, but too remote if you don't.
Kevin from Newark (23 August 2014)

Our 8th year on the site. The site was noisy at night. Drunken teenagers and youths shouting out, coming home from club. The site did not become quiet until 4.30 am we return every year because sons meet up with friends. We will not be returning to this site.
Maria from London (23 August 2014)

Lovely weather, great location for exploring the riviera however I did not feel that the campsite lived up to it's 5 stars. we have visited many better eurocamp parcs in the past.
Travis (16 August 2014)

Overall this campsite is in a great location. Agay is much more family friendly than st.raphael. The campsite itself is rated as a five star but there are many elements that did not represent a high standard of quality. The surrounding area is gorgeous and we managed to get out to see a lot of the area. The cost of the accommodation and facilities was quite high and it would have been nice to be able to chose a view, as some did.
Amy from Liverpool (14 August 2014)

We had a great time
Ian from Wymondham (12 August 2014)

We spent one week at the park, and a second week at a house with a pool in provence. We had a great holiday overall, but were disappointed with the level of accommodation at the park. The location was great, and the facilities good, but it wasn't quite what we were expecting.
David from Swindon (02 August 2014)

Good camp close to the beach.
Hendrik (24 July 2014)

Having stayed at esterel 5 times, this will be the last. Luckily we had only booked for 3 nights(with no sleep) we had a very roudy, noisy gang of youths staying opposite in an esterel caravan (strange for a site that quotes no single sex groups or noise after 11.30pm) the site in general was very noisy late at night.
Stephen from Wirral (22 July 2014)

This is our second time to the south of france and our third campsite, by far this is the best one, the only let down is that the eurocamp caravans are older and a bit more out of date than the other ones on site. the couriers were fantastic, animation perfect and the site is clean and well kept. we met loads of people who had been going for years.
Judith (21 July 2014)

Esterel is a fantastic medium sized site set in the hills above st raphael and only a few minutes drive to the beautiful beaches at agay. We really enjoyed our stay here (having come from nearby la baume where we had spent our first week and we much preferred esterel). there is a lovely feeling of warmth and atmosphere around the site which we had found lacking on our first site. Staff are all really friendly, everywhere is very clean, well kept and well laid out. . . pitches are very tight, as is often the way in this part of the riviera. Eurocamp describes this as a "steeply terraced park". that's a euphemism for there's huge, steep hills and steps up from most of our caravans to the pool area. It took a bit of commitment at the height of the sun but it's a short enough walk. . the kids clubs (site run) were first class. Our 6 and 4 year old girls adored them so much they often pleaded to do both morning and afternoon. The sessions largely included arts & craft, treasure hunts, songs & games and trips to the pool. . . the children's disco is only actually on once a week which was a little disappointing but the animations staff put their all into it. Its an hour and a half full on strobe light disco inside the nightclub. I do think a nightly half hour up at the main bar area with the more usual "chi chi wa" and "rom, pom, pom" eurorubbish would be more enjoyable for most kids. Saying that mine did have a ball that one night. . the beach at agay is beautiful (sandy but with lots of pine needles!) and I can highly recommend the food at "why not" along the seafront. Kids menu but also fantastic "non touristy" type food (you get a bit fed with bolognese and pizza!). we had fantastic asian chicken there. Beautiful. . we took a day trip up to grasse, well worth doing with little train around the old town and visit to the perfume factories. Really pretty, nice is also well worth a visit and we did that after checkout on our last day as our flight wasn't til late on. The airport is along the beach so very handy for sightseeing. . the only downsides on the site - there's little shade at a lot of the pitches despite being in a forest and we did find it got very hot for our littlest. . our accommodation was the 3 bed eurocamp esprit. This is smaller than the espace we had been in the previous week but we have stayed in the same size classic design previously and thought we knew what we were getting but I didn't like it at all. Seems badly laid out and designed. Serious lack of storage in the living room and kitchens compared to the older classics. I think this is largely to give an "open plan" feel but we found it just meant lots of our gear was open plan on the floor! also the aircon unit is along the front of the caravan across the door and not pointing anywhere near the living or kitchen areas. This means its largely cooling the hot air at the door and takes being on forever before the living areas cool down. Badly designed and I wouldn't recommend the esprit - i'd go for a classic in the same size quicker. . overall though we loved the site and found the courier (rebecca) to be really lovely and helpful. I'd definitely recommend this site.
Jennifer (12 July 2014)

Excellent holiday, great site and lovely plot. The caravan was a little tired though! didn't stop us enjoying it though.
Fiona (10 July 2014)

Great place for a family holiday.
Mark from Newtownabbey (10 July 2014)

We have stayed here three times now and always enjoy our stay. the shop is good, the bar has happy hour between 6-7pm, the takeaway is good and so s the restaurant.
Nigel from Guernsey (27 June 2014)

Esterel is a lovely camp - nestled amongst mature trees about 3km from the nearest beach (shingle). some of the things could do with a bit of an update (the minigolf, the tv room) but otherwise everything is lovely. Great for little kids with the separate indoor toddler pool and play area. Handy location for visiting st tropez, cannes and monaco. It was our first eurocamp holiday and for a week cost as much as we would normally pay for a fortnight in lanzarote - so not a cheap option.
Janet from Northwich (24 June 2014)

Superb area, disappointing pools and surround, expensive shop. Couriers top class.
Diane from Edinburgh (22 June 2014)

We had a multi site holiday in different locations over 4 weeks which was absolutely perfect and allowed us to do things at our own pace. The couriers at all parcs were so helpful - at esterel we asked to move accommodation and that was no problem - and we were even allowed to check out later as there were no guests following on. The safari tent was to die for and we have booked to go back again next year - cant wait.
Tracy from Poulton-Le-Fylde (21 June 2014)

Great holiday. position of camp midway between s tropez and cannes. a car is needed to appreciate all on offer. quite a way from the beach but pleasant seaside resort.
Mary from Wetherby (21 June 2014)

We had a lovely time on the parc which was of a high standard, clean and ideal for young children. We will recommend and may come again in the future.
Tom from London (20 June 2014)

A very nice parc with good facilities in a stunning location. Two minor niggles - one was the strict rule of no shorts in the pool - trunks only. No big deal if you have trunks but frustrating to get down to the pool in 30 degrees heat to find we're not allowed in. Second niggle was not being allowed to take drinks from the bar to the loungers round pool. Again in hot temperatures, this is something we take for granted when on holiday. . apart from this, everything else was fine. The bar, some comment is expensive. It is expensive but no more so than the bars in general in the area which are all expensive. Beach and local town not quite walkable so a car is essential. Plenty of places in the cote de azur region to visit so plenty to do or just relax at the nearby beach which is very nice. . recommended but not perfect!
Gregory (16 June 2014)

Wonderful holiday spent at a lovely peaceful site. great location for visiting surrounding area.
Caroline from Weston-Super-Mare (15 June 2014)

Great park, 2nd time we have been, very well kept, clean and the site has a lot to offer. Pool area, tennis courts and crazy golf have all recently been re-furbished and we will go back a 3rd time.
Daniel from Hull (31 May 2014)

This is the 8th time for us on this site so we know it very well so it makes it very relaxing for us
Ian from Reading (23 May 2014)

A bit hilly for seniors but a great site in general. The eurocamp couriers were excellent and totally relaxed and natural with their work. They reacted quickly to our needs which helped us to relax and enjoy our holiday knowing they were around. . eurocamp could do the couriers and the british visitors a favour by giving them a more modern means of communication, considering the site supplied free wifi we had to text a uk number to the couriers which cost us standard rates. Get with it eurocamp!!
James from Erskine, Scotland (22 May 2014)

Lovely campsite. Beautifully situated and near the beach and other cities.
Angelique from Veldhoven Holland (10 May 2014)

Fantastic holiday with perfect weather
Robert from Glasgow (29 September 2013)

Couldn't fault it. Facilities, setting, accommodation all superb.
Andrew from Birmingham (23 September 2013)

Clean well maintained park
Jennifer from Clevedon (21 September 2013)

Park was quite a way from beach about an hour walk to agay beach with no way to return unless walk back up the hill no taxis available had to get a kind shop keeper to order us one from st raphael a car would've been handy but we didn't pre book one and the week we went all case booked out after trying 6 different companies so felt a bit isolated as taxis to st raphael €25 each way standard fare !
Jayne from Norfolk (17 September 2013)

Excellent park, nice size, very family and toddler friendly. We loved the feeling that we were in the woods, lovely trees and greenery. Some steep slopes with a buggy but we managed fine. Great restaurant and shop with delicious croissants in the morning! everything we needed.
Kirsty from Newcastle Upon Tyne (14 September 2013)

Very mixed. The weather was beautiful. With two small children (aged 5 and 3), there are always going to be restrictions. The drive was more painful than anticipated (terrible traffic in riviera and a8 motorway). agay beach is authentic and stunning. Despite definite problems, the setting of this parc is very attractive.
Jon from Canterbury (26 August 2013)

Very nice, good location , superb weather and beautiful surrounding. So much to do and visit time flies.
Faez from Gowsy (24 August 2013)

Excellent holiday
Maria from Sidcup Kent (24 August 2013)

Was lvoely camp however wifi didn't work at all, not even at bar or reception, the location of the mobile home was little disappointment and no sign of courier!
Scott from Egham (24 August 2013)

Overal the park was very nice and we were generally happy with our choice except for the problems we experienced at night time. The van next door to us appeared to be occupied only by teenagers at night time who thought it was acceptable to sit on the veranda until the early hours talking and carrying on with raised voices.i reasoned with them and complained a couple of times to no avail. The aults (possibly the parents) seemed to disappear at night to leave the kids to there own devices. We had another issue with another van down from ours where the same thing happened during our second week. If it wasn't one van it was the other. I had to involve security at 3.20am one morning to get them to intervene as a ghetto blaster had been produced. This marred our whole stay. Also the two toilets next the pool are a disgrace. .
Darren from Newcastle (23 August 2013)

The parc was overcrowded and extremely noisy with live music blasting clearly into our mobile home until around midnight every night. . this caused a real problem in getting our children to sleep and was not at all what we wanted from the holiday - it felt like french butlins. We did not see a eurocamp rep throughout the entire holiday. Until. The end of the stay when they left the departure instructions on the door without saying hello patronising extra instructions and underlinings on your standard form door hanger. On the positive side the other site we stayed in were absolutely fabulous! .
Rachel from Chertsey (20 August 2013)

We were wary about how busy the area would be in august, and this did cause a few problems (traffic made some road journeys difficult). however we did use the train and timed our journeys to avoid the town centres and busy times. . the parc was great - with two teenage children there was plenty to do. The weather was great which always helps. . eating out was not too expensive and thanks to the satnav we were able to find our way around quite easily . . . . . thoroughly recommend the region and the parc. . already booking for 2014 . . . .
Simon from Suffolk (16 August 2013)

Its a really french site, maybe 95% french people? we did a feel a bit isolated at first, we thought we'd make much more use of the childrens activities but they were in french and our children didn't feel like joining in. However, its a really friendly site, the pools are great fun and we did enjoy the evening entertainment.
Kate from London (16 August 2013)

This was our 4th year on esterel. It's an excellent site and very well managed. The location is delightful, the staff friendly and the range of activities offered is very good. It has become a little expensive though.
Stephen from Ballyclare. (15 August 2013)

Our overall holiday experience was great. in general, a great parc and would recommend.
Charlotte from Cuffley (13 August 2013)

Lovely parc with great facilities. Brilliant weather. Lots to do and see in the local area. Fantastic summer holiday destination.
Katherine from Embsay, Skipton (13 August 2013)

Parc is welcoming, clean & safe. we wish you had an even better grade of accommodation on site. We felt the park was more french centred rather than the normally multi-national feel. Location is excellent - agay itself is really pleasant. Would definitely recommend.
Dyfed (12 August 2013)

Good park with private, shared, terraced sites. Short drive to the beach although parking virtually impossible in august. We didn't know until departure that the campsite offers a shuttle bus to and from the beach at regular intervals each day. Pools goos but, again, too busy in august and not well supervised.
Brian from Belfast (10 August 2013)

A lovely site with helpful esterel staff, eurocamp not up to their usual standards, poor reps on site and no holiday pack before we travelled.
Roger from Dagenham (09 August 2013)

Fantastic again realy considering coming back
Vaughan (02 August 2013)

A good park, well located. excellent emplacement - quiet, secluded with some views and lots of space and privacy. good welcome.
Richard (27 Jul 2013)

We stayed in a 2-bed mobile home. It was very clean and comfortable. Had some lovely evenings eating, drinking and chatting on the patio area. Air conditioning was great too. The park was tidy and the accommodation wasn't weren't too cramped together as we've seen elsewhere. The only disappointing bit was the entertainment / recreation facilities. There were six pools but they were too small and cramped. We were expecting a much more substantial swimming area as that tends to be the main attraction during the day. The tennis courts were very run down. The web site promoted badminton (even a badminton tournament once per week). there were no facilities when we got there. They hired bikes but the camp and surrounding was far too hilly for regular cyclists. The bar area was nice but the drinks were very expensive (over 6 euros for a beer). they put on evening entertainment - some better than others. We were really looking forward to mama mia but most of the singing was miming, which didn't sound very good. The we will rock you show the following week was much the same. The seating area for the shows was too small - unless you got there early, you couldn't get a seat. The staff pressured you to buy their expensive drinks and we saw them 'eject' a couple who chose to not buy a drink. We used the camp as a base and regularly visited the lovely beaches (best ones 30-40 mins drive) down the coast, and the lakes/rivers, which were great. It was a nice holiday overall, but it would have been much better had the camp got the recreation / leisure side right.
Nic from Etwall, Derbyshire (27 Jul 2013)

We had a good holiday but I would not recommend this holiday parc to a family with young children as the parc is on the side on a mountain. There are very steep hills throughout the parc which made walking with a pushchair or very young children difficult. It also meant that scooters were a death wish and no balls games could be played. The forest behind the parc is not a soft pine forest but more like the australian out back and certainly not an area to venture in with children. The unsupervised pools meant that you could not relax for fear of young ones drowning and the toilets were disgusting.
Pippa from Portsmouth (25 Jul 2013)

Excellent site. Couriers were very friendly and helpful. Accommodation was spotless when we arrived.
Martin from Edinburgh (25 Jul 2013)

Overall we didn't enjoy this holiday as much as we have done in previous years. Location lovely but very steep and I thought a little dangerous at times no guard rails etc. Lack of suitable kids club meant our 8 year old was frequently bored.
Siobhan from Dundalk (20 Jul 2013)

Fantastic holiday experience for us parents and our two children aged 3 and 5.
Neil from Aberdeen (18 Jul 2013)

Great time, park wonderful, couriers great and area superb
Customer 119 (13 Jul 2013)

Perfect. We were a three-generation family group with sunbathers, swimmers, market lovers, tour de france fans and a baby - and we were all happy!
Linda from Newcastle Upon Tyne (06 Jul 2013)

Lovely site in a lovely area. Good basic mobile home accommodation, nothing more, nothing less than what we were expecting but clean & adequate. Eurocamp reps really helpful, not intrusive but there if we needed them. Only thing I would say is steer clear of the children's indoor pool until the site requires and enforces that parents ensure that babies wear nappies in there..we stopped going in there with our little one as it was in such a state and in my opinion a potential source for tummy bugs.
Katherine from Northampton (06 Jul 2013)

Nice site although difficult to find not very well sign posted found the key camp map difficult to follow, a car is a must, way to far to walk to the nearest beach due to hilly location and the heat. The parc itself is an ideal base for travelling around the area of southern france, we visited st raphael, saint tropez, cannes nice and monaco.
Julie from Hartlepool (04 Jul 2013)

Roll on next year. Perfect for all generations. A lovely atmosphere and the scenery and setting is very special.
Elaine from Sheffield (01 Jul 2013)

A good holiday because the children enjoyed it, with some plusses, some minuses. Overall a pleasant holiday.
Geni from Dublin (26 Jun 2013)

Not enough shade at van
Henry from Wigan (26 Jun 2013)

The park and accommodation were great value for money and the facilities were excellent.
Laura from Fleet (23 Jun 2013)

Lovely accommodation and setting. Some nice facilities at the park too. A car is a must-have if you are to stay at this park with the bus stop being over a mile away which wasn't too much of a problem for us as we are young and active but I imagine some people would find this difficult. We were also expecting high prices for drinks in the region but were dismayed that the prices of the parc bar were higher than a lot of other places in the region. This was in evidence when the only time people were in the bar was for the happy hour. Other than this parc staff were friendly and pleasant. The parc reception staff were also very helpful. A great parc for families and for couples hoping to explore the region.
Richard from Derby (22 Jun 2013)

Just wonreful:)
Renata from Bingley Uk (20 Jun 2013)

The campsite at esterel is lovely. It was fairly quiet when we went which made it especially peaceful. The indoor children's pool is brilliant and we often had it to ourselves. It's in a beautiful setting and we would definitely go back.
Lauren from Dorset (15 Jun 2013)

Best couriers ive known,,,,,,great parc and facilities..my . . particularspace parking space too small (honda crv),.... would repeat. .
Norman from Lee On The Solent. Hants (03 Jun 2013)

We visited this holiday parc last year as a couple, and found the holiday parc very good this year we took our daughter and 3 grandchildren, based to our great experience last year. This particular holiday we had more cause to request assistance from the parc staff for just minor things like a baby highchair for lunch in the bar area, and found the parc staff generally very unhelpful . on one occasion we tried to assist confused elderly lady find her mobile home and family, as we found her lost and wandering, eventually we had to go to the parcs reception for assistance who just did not want to assist and pointed us back to her holiday couriers thompson al fresco reception. I explained the couriers did not seem to be on site. I eventually got my car and drove the lady around the parc myself and found her family. . the actual holiday parc location and facilities are excellent ,but we would not return to this parc again, due to our experience with the parc staff this year.
Glenn from Romford (01 Jun 2013)

Excellent holiday
Sylvia from Huddersfield (26 May 2013)

Esterel was a good parc with a great pool complex, both indoor and out, an excellent restaurant which was well priced and offered excellent food and a well stocked and reasonably priced shop. However, it was often difficult to find your way around as it was not very well signposted, particularly to the mobile homes, and the homes were very close to each other with very little space around and limited car parking space. During the heavy rainfalls the parking area outside the mobile home frequently became flooded.
Adrian from Sandy, Beds (25 May 2013)

All went as planned no issues at all which makes for a relaxing holiday
Ian from Reading (24 May 2013)

Site in good location .a bit difficult to find at first .we stayed at several sites across the country.all different
Robert from Bournemouth (21 May 2013)

Lynette from Grantham (19 May 2013)
