Lovely setting, good facilities, great region of france
Jonathan (05 September 2015)

Great site with nice surrounding area. Good facility's on the site and very well maintained. . site staff were very helpful and polite throughout our stay. . jury region is very nice and plenty of things to keep you entertained providing the sun is out! we were lucky in only having 1 bad weather day. . lake is nice and safe providing your in the lifeguard area. . we would go back here in the future.
Michael from Merseyside (01 September 2015)

Great site.fabulous pool complex
Michelle from Margate (31 August 2015)

Great parc, though good weather is probably a must--and if you get it, the swimming and sports on the lake are excellent. The site pool complex is also really good.
Andrew from Switzerland (31 August 2015)

We booked 3 nights at domain to chalain to break our journey from cannes to calais. the safari tent was fantastic, well spaced from neighbouring tents, clean and well equipped. the whole campsite had lots of mature which gave it a lovely feel. the lake was amazing, and there were good little shops and eateries in doucier.
Lucy from Chipping Norton (31 August 2015)

Overall this is a lovely camp site although there is less to do for a family in the surrounding areas than we would have liked. We went the first week of september and a lot of activities on the campsite had stopped by then and some of the facilities had reduced hours. The waterpark is great but very busy at weekends.
Philip (29 August 2015)

Lovely site, plenty to do (or not do!) having indoor pools a blessing on rainy days. Site shops were great plus small supermarket in the village met all our needs. Great area to explore. Bit surprised at huge deposits for bikes (350 euros per bike) so bring an empty credit card if you're planning on hiring bikes when you get there. Loved the accommodation and found it quiet and child friendly.
Beverley from Ely (28 August 2015)

Safari tent really good. Swimming pool and slide not nearly as big they seem in photographs
Helen (28 August 2015)

Stayed here 3 nights at the end of time further south in the alps. a large busy site which took a while to get used to but grew on us, especially lake-side stuff like swimming & canoeing
Sally (28 August 2015)

This a stunningly beautiful park. the lake is lovely to swim in when the weather is warm, although the rocky 'beach' hurts your feet so take some seim shoes! the accommodation is great and has everything you need my only grumble would be that our caravan was so small, considering it wad a 6 sleeper I would have expected a bigger space. The shops and bars on site are all reasonably priced. the eurocamp staff are lovely, friendly and so helpful.
Lisa (28 August 2015)

Great park. The lake is stunning. Kids enjoyed the forest adventure. Was very chilly the first couple of days but luckily warmed up so that we could enjoy the lake.
Zoe from Seaford (22 August 2015)

I think it is perhaps the best parc we have stayed on so far. Good facilities for all ages, well run and maintained. Use of kayaks for free was a welcome bonus and should be retained. Couriers were fine.
Simon from London (22 August 2015)

Great campsite in a stunning location . we were quite a way from the centre so we were glad we had our bikes. Perfect for kids, the lake is beautiful and the swimming pool complex one of the best we have used. Just the right size for you to be able to keep an eye on the kids and various play areas on the weather is a bit cool. the inside pool has been extended so on the cooler days we used that, could get very busy on those days!
Sharon from Bradford (22 August 2015)

Average parc
Karen from York (22 August 2015)

We enjoyed our eurocamp holiday. Overall it is a great experience, lots to do onsite. The area around you is beautiful. A lovely group of euro camp reps always there to help and give advice. Very friendly! . only downside was that you cant predict the weather, in august we had some hot days and some cooler days so pack jeans and a cardigan too.
Nina (21 August 2015)

We stayed in a eurocamp 3 bed chalet. The chalet itself was fine, apart from the doors which were broken, had bits of their locking mechanism missing, and couldn't be locked securely. This problem was half fixed when we complained - but the doors still did not lock as securely as they should have done. (even a small person of low strength would have been able to force them open very easily, had they wished to). this situation was considered 'acceptable' by eurocamp and we were told nothing further could be done. . the worst thing about our holiday at this site was the overcrowding of chalets. Whilst trying to eat meals on the decking, at any time we could be closely watched by 5 other families. We had no privacy, were able to view other people taking showers in their chalets (whilst eating dinner on our decking), and couldn't believe how little space had been left between chalets. Outside of our chalet we had the decking area and a tiny area in which we had to squeeze our car between our chalet and the one nextdoor. The parking area was so small we had to exit the back of the car before parking as there was no room to open the back doors! we had two recliner chairs, presumably for relaxing on outside of our chalet, but were unable to use them - as there was nowhere to put them when our car was parked. . for supposed high-end camping (and the amount we paid) our conditions were so far from suitable that we would positively put people off using eurocamp to book anything similar. . . we appreciate that eurocamp could not be held responsible for the site and its amenities but sadly we found these below the standards we have enjoyed throughout france previously. The monkey tree climbing experience was fantastic and we couldn't fault it. The water parc however was another big disappointment - again due to overcrowding. During hot days it was impossible to really use the parc as it was so busy literally nobody had space to move.
Roger from Cambridge (15 August 2015)

We only used this for a one night stop over. We will definitely want to visit it again for longer.
Kirsten (15 August 2015)

Parc was delightful very well equipped indeed. Such beautiful scenery around the lake. . the staff were brilliant no issues what so ever. The mobile home was sufficient, just lack of privacy with neighbours. The caravans are too close together or all need fence panels.
Nicola from Wales (15 August 2015)

The setting is beautiful, accommodation great. not enough staff to deal with the amount of people there. cumbersome booking system for activities, queue up and then they might not even be available. Golf buggies whizzing around at high speed driven by kids!!! some rude staff one who shouted out in french "no english, no english, french" and dint ebven try to understand the youth asking for a triangle for the pool table.
Louise from Lancashire (14 August 2015)

Very limited places to eat unless you wanted to drive off site, the one restaurant you do have the pizza's that the children had were very very poor.
Karl from Brighton (13 August 2015)

Lovely park, lake great for swimming, lovely local walks really enjoyed our holiday!
Confirmed Holidaymaker (13 August 2015)

We had a great holiday, in a fantastically scenic campsite. the caravan had a few things wrong (toilet leaking, lights not working, shower not so good). the couriers were great as helpful on bernie, but only seemed ok on chalain. it would have been useful if they were more knowledgable about local areas to visit. we like the campsite experience as the kids had great fun playing with new friends, making for a relaxed holiday. would like to do something similar next year.
James (12 August 2015)

The parc is set in a stunning environment, the lake and surrounding landscape take your breath away. Its leads to a very relaxing holiday. However, the pool complex on the site is too small for the number of people trying to use it, you can't really swim in either the indoor or outdoor pools. The site could also do with one or two more multi sport pitches
Andrew from Chichester (12 August 2015)

We really enjoyed it and would definitely book again with eurocamp. Shame the bar on site lacked in any atmosphere.
Liz from Brighton (11 August 2015)

Great location with good facilities albeit most activities are geared to good weather. Only 1 restaurant on the site so you will need to seek others off-site for a variation.
Steve from Dawlish (11 August 2015)

Park was nice, and stunning scenery, but also open to the public so when you finally get into the park you are faced with a hugh car park which was jam packed. The public are able to use the lake, pay to use the swimming pool which isn't big enough for the public and the campers? you are not able to swim in the pool as no room, the queues for the slides were long. The public can also use the take away and ice cream facilities therefore making it very busy. The park itself was very over crowded especially the tents and touring caravans they were all parked on top of each other, so not looking organised.
Dawn from Chelmsford, Essex (10 August 2015)

Excellent park in a lovely area. The facilities particuarly the shops, bakery and bar were excellent and good value
Ian (09 August 2015)

Lovely location, interesting area, only downside are the pitches, caravans very close together, you could open window and almost touch the van behind you,not much privacy. On the plus side, the lake was lovely and clean, nice selection of site shops, all reasonably priced, the site gets very busy at weekends due to locals useing pool(heaving) and lakeside.
Daniel from Pembrokeshire (09 August 2015)

Had a good time, the lake is beautiful and campsite well organised.
Sharon from Bristol (08 August 2015)

Enjoyed a fantastic holiday by this stunning lake with so much to do and so unspoilt. Uncommercialised, relaxed and friendly parc. Not the place for posh restaurants or wild night life but that suited us just fine!
Deborah from Broxbourne (08 August 2015)

We really liked the site and the location was stunning. The lake is by far the best feature of the site and the beach and swimming was excellent.
Katherine from West Sussex (08 August 2015)

We would recommend the domaine de chalain campsite for families with pre-teens and younger. Ideal if you want a mixture of activities (walking, cycling and swimming) and relaxing by the lake. We loved the chalain area and the lake was beautiful. there were several spectacular sunsets. note the beach is quite stony (swim shoes would help) - however there is a sandier beach on the other side of the lake. we enjoyed the pool area - plenty of pools to choose from but the slides are not massive and it did get very busy on hot days, as the park and beach are open to the public (for an entrance fee). geneva is well worth a visit. Our caravan was a little tired but was ok overall.
Zoe from Birmingham (08 August 2015)

Brilliant family holiday I the sunshine!
Rachael (08 August 2015)

We had a good time this year at domaine de chalain. The park has lots of facilities for use and the shops, takeaway, bakery etc are excellent compared with other sites I have bern to. We didnt try the restaurant as the menu looked quite basic, not enough choice for me. The pool and play area was excellent, lots to do, however my main gripe is that eurocamp do not state in their information that lycra shorts must be worn without exception. New swimwear bought for the holiday was therefore useless and the site shop did very well out of us having to buy 2 new pairs so we could use the pool - my sons main attraction. The facilities were extremely busy on most of the days due to the public being able to use them, but at least there was choice between pool and lake. Whilst the site was clean, the grounds didnt appear as well maintained as other eurocamp sites. Overall, the location was beautiful, fabulous driving roads, little villages and easy access to switzerland if you fancy the trip.
Johannah from Warrington (07 August 2015)

A brilliant site in a beautiful area. The lake is perfect for swimming and a dinghy or pedalo, the pools are great and all the facilities are good. We had a great holiday and would have stayed longer if we could.
Adam from Manchester (07 August 2015)

A really lovely parc with new swimming pools and facilities, surrounded by trees and beautiful cliffs. The lake is lovely and clean for swimming. Mini supermarket on site has high quality food which is cheaper than th super market offsite. . there are many nearby attractions such as the herrison waterfalls. Would stay again.
Andrew from London (07 August 2015)

This was one of the best holidays i've been on with my family. Site was great loads to do really safe. Great weather great people great holiday
Natalie from Burnley (06 August 2015)

Great holiday, ticked all the boxes and even exceeded our expectations. we were at the site for a month, which we can only say was relaxing but still offered plenty to do with the camp facilities, fantastic for the kids (12 & 15) with activities and entertainment day & night for all ages
Steve from Dunfermline (04 August 2015)

Parc surroundings were beautiful, but due to being over packed and open to the public, you were never able to experience the serenity. The pools and the lake were constantly packed, making it very nerving for parents with young children. For what we paid for this holiday, and only to be allowed in to the pool once a day, was a it of joke and general disappointment.
Leila (31 July 2015)

Beautiful place. Not much going on nearby but the setting is fantastic. The parc has pretty much everything you could need, so no need to leave there if you don't need to. I recommend hiring a pedlow and going out onto the lake and jumping in, a great experience!
Andrew from Dudley (29 July 2015)

Good enough for the three days we spent there
Ailsa (29 July 2015)

Very well equipped and lively parc, excellent swimming facilities - could quite happily spend a week there without using the car at all.
Richard from Olney (28 July 2015)

Lovely parc, location, plenty to do, places to visit
Pamela from Fareham Hants (28 July 2015)

A popular site on the edge of a lake with an excellent swimming pool complex.
Dma from Devon (26 July 2015)

Our stay at domain de chalain was great, loved the new tents, gazebo was really useful. Reps and local parc staff were very helpful. Stunning location.
Clive from Cropston, Leicester (26 July 2015)

Only issue is not alowing my husband into the pool with normal swimming trunks on despite all the life guards wearing them.
Confirmed Holidaymaker (25 July 2015)

All four of us enjoyed lac de chalain. The site has everthing you need and the lake is fantastic for swimming and small boats, but the fishing isn't much good, but it may have been a bit too hot when we were there. Eurocamp reps did everything asked of them and made sure we were aware they were available, they also put us next to the other british families which the kids were happy about as they made new friends. We would definately consider going again.
Philip from Wolston (25 July 2015)

Location and facilities are great.
Jane from London (25 July 2015)

A beautiful setting for a holiday, plenty to do for those who like to be active. I have 3 teenage children and we were busy all week, swimming in the lake and pool, we hired the eurocamp canoes, park pedaloes and bicycles, they did high ropes, segway and horse riding, they played volleyball and we enjoyed beautiful walks around the lake, up to the viewpoint and visited cascades du herrison, everything that we needed was there, thank you europcamp
Amanda from Loughborough (20 July 2015)

I was disappointed there was no air conditioning - this would have made it much better. I won't book anything that does not guarantee air-con again. Also the local shops were poor (seemed to run out all the time) with larger supermarkets quite a drive away - if I had known I would have stocked up before arriving.
Rob from Leicester (20 July 2015)

Great parc. Would love to visit again!
Laura from Comrie (18 July 2015)

Holiday experience was great - super location and facilities.
Beverley from Edinburgh (17 July 2015)

Lovely site. Beautiful area. Unfortunate to be there during heatwave. Couriers local knowledge was poor. Pool area great. Site grocery and boulangerie reasonably priced. Gift shops well tat and reasonable. . vista mobile kitchen area layout dreadful. Have permanent dent in headfrom hitting the corner of the boiler cupboard. Not much room when opening the oven door and very poorly equipped,. we had to buy oven feed our family of 5. .
Agnes from Hamilton (10 July 2015)

Great site and location by the lake is fantastic. Although the lakeside can be very busy the eurocamp mobile home location was quiet and the pitch and accommodation were excellent
James from Glasgow (10 July 2015)

Ok. Lovely setting. Weather made it.
Judy from Cockermouth (08 July 2015)

We had a lovely time but it wasnt pleasant on sat and sun when all the local people descended on the beach leaving very little room for the campers. The eurocamp reps where friendly but useless, they knew nothing about the campsites facilities kids club etc they should inform themselves about all of that the minute they arrive so that they can inform their guests when they arrive. The rule about no shorts in the pool area should b well publicised as some parents and kids only had shorts and then needed to buy swimming trunks etc unecessary expenditure. The safari tent was lovely but the beds were missing some screws. The kids club should b from aged 6. Thanks.
Stefan from Brugg, Switzerland (08 July 2015)

Very nice place with lots to do for active people. We enjoyed the aquatic parc much more than the lake:)
Erikas from Vilnius (03 July 2015)

First class experience and was just what we expect from eurocamp.
Phillip from Morpeth. Northumberland (30 June 2015)

Lovely area, good facilities in the parc and we enjoyed our holiday.
Simon from Bristol (28 June 2015)

Been here several times the first over 30 years ago! we love it, park location, lake, local walks, scenery and exploring the jura. Dogs love it too - their 2nd visit.
Lesley from Granborough ,Bucks (27 June 2015)

We had a fantastic few days at the camp and wld love to go again some time. The surrounding area is very nice. We had a fantastic drive down to italy and back through switzerland from there too.
Christopher from Barry (26 June 2015)

Lovely well organised holiday park, great cycle trails outside of park.
Pam from Truro (26 June 2015)

Lovely camp in a gorgeous area. Good spacious pitch, but my parents in law stayed in a different part of the campsite that was very cramped. Booked through eurocamp many times and have been very happy but must admit that I was a little disappointed this time. Around the accommodation was overgrown with nettles growing through the slats of the decking (not good for young kids). half way through our stay the reps did turn up to tidy up out pitch. She left by saying "i've done my best", the nettles were still there! . no one had checked the accommodation before our arrival as half the light bulbs didn't work and the checklist was unmarked. The reps did come over as a group of young people wanting an extended holiday rather than people working professionally in the tourist industry. We were greeted by a young man that did have an attitude of a moody teenager, don't think that tourism/hospitality is for him. On the plus side a young scottish man came to see us the night before we left that was full of enthusiasm, very polite and eager to please. Just a shame he had only just arrived at the camp. . even though I have listed a few negatives, as a family we would return to the camp as it is a really good campsite and a good base to explore.
Catrin from Bangor (26 June 2015)

I had an excellent holiday. didn't realise alot of things in the park would only be opened at weekends though
Derrick from Lancaster (23 June 2015)

Good park great area, accommodation chalets on top of each other compared to other parks and looks a bit untidy.
Bryn from Crawley (22 June 2015)

Stayed for 2 nights to visit specific places on our way to our main holiday location in the ardeche, and it worked well.
Customer 66 from Kingston-Upon-Thames (22 June 2015)

Beautiful location, good facilities, great weekend
Andrew from Geneva (21 June 2015)

Only an overnight stop, but we wished we had more time there.
Andrew from Darlington (19 June 2015)

Enjoyable holiday on a well situated and attractive parc that just needed some ground maintenance tlc. We have decades of experience of eurocamping and were impressed by the whole team of couriers who were as good a team as any we have met before.
Roland from London (18 June 2015)

Wonderful park for young children who love swimming and a fabulous location for walking, cycling and seeing some amazing scenery.
Hannah (17 June 2015)

Good holiday apart from mobile.
Timothy from Lutterworth (15 June 2015)

Loved the park and the accommodation. Disappointed with the eurocamp couriers, never saw them! the staff on the campsite ( non eurocamp) we're very rude too. The place was beautiful though, we didn't want to come home! the grass could have done with cutting.
Bethany (14 June 2015)

Used as a stopover on the way home. Beautiful site and drive to get there. Picturesque location. Takeaway was good, the restaurant menu didn't appeal, by pricey and not too french either. But far to walk anyway from the site
Tim from Southport (09 June 2015)

It was a lovely relaxing weekend with some of the most beautiful surroundings I have ever seen. However i'd recommend this parc for parents of older children as we had one 3 year old who was becoming a little bored after a few days. However it was a lovely break
Stephen from Liverpool (07 June 2015)

Only there for two nights but site in a beautiful setting. Reasonably priced shop and restaurant
Andrea from Manchester (06 June 2015)

Very good weather.
Margaret from Arundel (28 September 2014)

Our first visit to this location. A very large site but with some notable issues:. strange opening hours for swimming pool. Unexpected rules regarding men's swim wear banning swim shorts - something that should be made known before travelling!.
Richard from Tunbridge Wells (17 September 2014)

Good area but poor mobile home pitches
Suzanne from Bedford (14 September 2014)

Campsite was lovely, beautiful setting and all well maintained. Accommodation very comfortable and well equipped. Plenty to do with a small toddler, pool was great fun with lots of variety. Only downside was that site practically closed down on 31 august which left it feeling a bit flat.
Lisa (04 September 2014)

A party of 4 of us spent a very happy few days at the domaine de chalain park. The park is set in beautiful surroundings and the lake was brilliant for swimming in. we also borrowed one of the eurocamp canoes (which was free) and spent an enjoyable couple of hours paddling our way around the whole lake. We walked up above the camp to get a stunning view of the lake and surrounding countryside. and we played on the table tennis, volley ball and basket ball which were all free. Early morning croissants and pain au chocolat from the on-site bakery; a visit to the le pic vert restaurant just down the road and a meal cooked on the gas bar-b-q on the veranda of our accommodation made it easy to sample the local foods and flavoured wines. We had a very interesting visit to the chateau de joux in pontarlier which is about an hour away. a guided tour (7euros per person) lasts about 1h30min and gives a vivid historical insight of a fairytale castle set in the hills. The eurocamp couriers were stationed in a caravan just nearby and they were all very welcoming and helpful. they gave us plenty of ideas on what to do,. our only complaint is that our holiday was just not long enough ..!!
Carolyn from Tregaron (02 September 2014)

Stayed in a fully equipped safari tent, very cosy wand warm.lovely area and scenery.
Jane from Norwich (31 August 2014)

A relaxing 2 night short stay, mid long journey home from the alps. Stunning lake setting with beautifully clear water for swimming. Our mobile home location was a perfect sun trap in a quiet spot on the edge of the park.
Tegwen from Market Drayton (31 August 2014)

Perfect for a weekend break - relaxing
Caroline from Geneva (31 August 2014)

It was a nice park with lots of facilities, great bakery, beach and pool complex and handy for lots of sights and places.
Confirmed Holidaymaker (30 August 2014)

Beautiful setting and so many amenities. Indoor and outdoor pools and lake all great and plenty to do so wished we'd stayed longer. only 2 smallish gripes. Wasn't expecting loud late night entertainment. Only one restaurant which needs a decent kids menu. But otherwise shops and takeaways were good.
Fleur from London (30 August 2014)

Beautiful spot, but the accommodation is very tightly packed together and the pool only opens at 10.30.
Sharon (30 August 2014)

Excewllent site for touring the jura
Alex from Derby (30 August 2014)

Lovely park in a beautiful area. There is a small programme of organised activities which could be signed up for. Eurocamp were just there as an information base and did not organise activities themselves. However there were plenty of things to do on the site and the swimming pool was free to use on site once per day.
Fiona from Colchester (30 August 2014)

Great location and park, with good facilities and local attractions. Will certainly return again.
Robert from Warfield (30 August 2014)

A great little site,great area.
Paul from Sheffield (30 August 2014)

The couriers and accommodation were all fine, the parc was ok (apart from the nearest shower and toilet block which needed a good clean.) unfortunately, the weather was bad and as pretty much everything in the parc and surrounding area relied on outdoor activities, this meant we were stuck in the tent with a four year-old. I would only recommend this parc to anyone who didn't mind getting wet and cold' or they were guaranteed warm weather.
Mark from Oxford (30 August 2014)

Just returned from 10 nights. Weather a little hit and miss but overall a great holiday in a stunning location.
Helen from East Yorks (30 August 2014)

Our holiday was very relaxing, and all five of us enjoyed the break.
Sarah from Lydney, Gloucestershire. (28 August 2014)

Beautiful location. Safari tent was great, well equipped and the kids loved it. Visiting the waterfalls is a must..stunning.
Joanne from Northampton (28 August 2014)

Longest two weeks of my life.whole family bored. No where to go and nothing to was awful. Food selection was poor.local restaurant selection poor with flies everywhere.first holiday for my father in law for thirty years, he has difficulty walking and all of the so called facilities were to far for him to get to. Very disappointed for him.children just wanted to come home.
Angela from Watford (26 August 2014)

Great place for a holiday. Lovely site, lots to do and explore. Something for everyone here.
Allyson from St Leonards On Sea (26 August 2014)

Liked the campsite, facilities and surroundings but we were unlucky with the weather and it was colder than we had anticipated due to the altitude.
Helen (26 August 2014)

Paid a lot of money for a safari tent that never got any sun so was always chilly and damp. We had torrential rain for 3 days and the outside was a quagmire. Its very cold at night and the cottage restaurant is rude and slow.
Rachel (25 August 2014)

Beautiful location but it was very cold up there in the mountains, which we had underestimated. It was also very rainy, which turned the paths and roads very muddy, making walkng anywhere a nightmare. The activities on site were good, but the indoor pool was overcrowded because of the weather and potentially dangerous at times. Also, more attention could be given to the cleanliness of the pool changing rooms and toilets.
Emma from Winchester (25 August 2014)

Great holiday and parc the only down side we where staying with another family and asked for are tents to be together and they weren't. This made eating evening meals with our friends hard as we had to keep the kids up.
Hannah (25 August 2014)

The place was lovely but the low overall score is due to the weather being so bad while we were there (12th aug for 4 nights). we were unable to enjoy the outdoor pool and the lake as it rained constantly. However, loved the fact you could hire the canoe for free and the boardgames/tennis rackets etc which were available.
Katy from Crawley (24 August 2014)

Nice park, bed very uncomfortable.
Keely from Oxford (24 August 2014)

Super pitch for the tent, about 20m from the lakeside. terrible weather for first couple of days, very wet and the entrance to the tent became a bog, although a word with the couriers and camp site team, we had sand put down at the front to help with the rain water, which was brilliant!. the newer toilet block doesn't have hot water, however the one adjacent to it does - and although they are busy facilities, they are thoroughly cleaned daily. We have 2 girls (4 and 6) and they had a super time. we spent most of our time in/at the lake or the pools. beautiful area, would definitely go back to this site.
Louise from Chandlers Ford (23 August 2014)

Weather made the general holiday not what was expected however there was lots to do to keep everyone entertained. The toilet and wash facilities on site and do need updating.
Rebecca (23 August 2014)

We also stated at lake annecy sites (which was excellent) and bells tola in switzerland which was good- the only drawback being such a cold and worn down pool (it needs reprinting bed was quite dangerous for young children)
Holly from York (23 August 2014)

The lake itself is lovely,,we used the eurocamp kayaks everyday which was really good fun. Facilities on site are good - shop, cafe and bakery.high ropes also good. Accommodation vista 2 bed a bit dated and beds not very comfy, also all lined up quite closely to each other. Visiting the herrisson waterfalls was a good day out.
Martin from London (22 August 2014)

The holiday was unfortunately marred by lots of rain, which caused a partial flood in the tent. A few too many days stuck in the tent and not that much in the the local area to go and see.
David from Bristol (21 August 2014)

We had a great time despite the 7 days of heavy rain. There is not alot to do on-site if it does rain but there is loads to do in thelocal area. The site is spacious and there is loads of room around the holidays homes, so you're not falling over each other. There are great walks and cycling. . the lake is greatband warmer than the swimming pool. The swimming pool does get busy.
Mark from Buckinghamshire (20 August 2014)

Parc was not good. Overcrouded. Tatty. Staff not helpful or polite.
Darren (19 August 2014)

Great lake, shame about the toilet blocks, not up to the usual standard you would expect.
Thomas from Hasslcks (16 August 2014)

Beautiful area, stunning, clean lake.
Graeme from Tyne &Amp; Wear (16 August 2014)

Fantastic site if you are in a mobile home, the toilet blocks were very old and didn't feel particularly clean so that was a problem me staying in a tent. Kids loved the pools and the lake and free canoe hire was an unexpected bonus. Takeaway and shops all had loads of choice. Entertainment did seem to be a bit hit and miss dependent on weather.
Nicola from Doncaster (16 August 2014)

Poor weather (can't be helped), old accommodation but great reps and it got better as time passed by.
Andy from Wivenhoe (14 August 2014)

Beautiful setting, pool, lake, shops etc spot on. The shops were excellent, good value for money. Our plot was overgrown and in such a wet climate it would have made it more comfortable for campers to keep the vegetation under control!! the washing and toilet facilities totally let down the site, they are open to the elements, not cleaned enough and not cleaned properly so on that basis we would think twice about returning and if recommending to a friend it would be with a health warning!! really disappointing and spoilt what could have been a perfect holiday.
Sharon (14 August 2014)

This camp is run by the local council. The area we were in was dated and in need of a refurbishment. The wash block was dirty and the toilets were often blocked. The lake itself is lovely and if you are an active family there are lots of walks and bike rides in the area. . . we stayed in a safari tent. It was well equipped. However, it was tucked away in a poor location. A lakeside location would have preferable. . overall I would not recommend this campsite.
Tim from Wales (12 August 2014)

Beautiful site and location. very peaceful but a long way to drive.
Irene (07 August 2014)

We had a great time..and this was our first eurocamp holiday! everything was accessible on the camp although we did explore the area too! our 4 year old loved it!
Customer 117 from East Sussex (04 August 2014)

Our holiday was a big dissapointment...its mainly because eurocamp don't own the park[this isnt explained on eurocamps website]..they lease it off the council.that being the case lots of services and activities were totally sub-standard..but unfortunately the eurocamp couriers explained that these were problems beyond their control
Barry from Brighton (01 August 2014)

Fantastic campsite so much to do, if you get good weather. Unfortunately it rained most of the time we were here in august. Would have been paradise for the kids with a bit of sunshine.
Tobias from Tring (29 July 2014)

Out of the six weeks we were away, this was the place we enjoyed least.
Helen from Cambridge (28 June 2014)

Large, tightly packed site in a lovely setting. Lots of activities to do should you wish. nice selection of shops on site, including bakery. Good beaches by lakeside. nice region to explore.
Dilys from Bury (14 September 2013)

Overnight stop. No complaints.
James from Herne Bay (09 September 2013)

The holiday was fantastic but there were too many restrictions placed on the holiday makers for example no noise after 11pm not even talking within your caravan which was enforced by security coming round hounding you.the water park is vastly over sized in the pictures as the slides are tiny as are the pools and you can only gain entry if you wear speedo type trunks but the lake is far better anyway.. our friends stayed in canvas caravans and they were so very tiny compared to eurocamp ones and have stayed 3 times with eurocanp and would recommend them to those traveling to such parc's. . other than that it was fantastic and we would return even with the silly restrictions
Mark from Colne (08 September 2013)

This was an emergency short stay although we have been to this park before. very pleasant stay.
Sue from Derby (05 September 2013)

Stunning lakeside location with fantastic facilities. The only downside was the indoor pool which was a little grotty but other than that a really lovely site. We came here as a stopover from frejus for 2 nights but wish we'd had the whole week here as it was much nicer than frejus.
Michelle from Chatham (02 September 2013)

Lovely site, great facilities, the lake is stunning. Pool area was enough for our 3 under 12's but give it another year and it wouldn't be big enough for the eldest. Lots of stuff to do on site, beach, pool complex, table tennis, pony rides, playgrounds, pedaloes, tennis. Close enough to visit switzerland for the day plus smaller local attractions. In terms of the mobile and pitches..van very clean if a little small and all the usual eurocamp equipment inside, pitches quite small but not a major problem as so many open spaces on the site it didn't matter.
Helen from Bexley (02 September 2013)

Fantastic park. Lovely and clean with great on site facilities. Would recommend.
Eilis from Sheffield (01 September 2013)

Lovely campsite great for kids.
Ben from Winchester (31 August 2013)

Overnight stop but a few faults
Peter (31 August 2013)

Fantastic location and plenty of activities for children. Amazing sunsets over the lake, lovely bakery for fresh baguette each morning. It's also safe for kids to roam around freely and you don't worry. Would definitely recommend this site. It also has lots of lovely walks and cycling around lakes.
Suzanna from Milton Keynes (29 August 2013)

Had a great time in a lovely area of france, very remote area, great for hassle free driving. A long drive from calais.
Jo (29 August 2013)

A big parc but didn't feel overcrowded. lots to do and good facilities on site. plenty to visit in the surroundings. I feel like we've only 'scratched the surface' on this, our first visit. will aim to return sometime.
Trevor from Slough (28 August 2013)

Lovely area, loads to do on site, beautiful lake, really beautiful parc. didn't love my accommodation, but have booked to go back next year in the site's own accommodation.
Customer 133 from Worcestershire (26 August 2013)

We had a great holiday here. The location was fantastic - our 3 children (aged 5, 7 & 9) loved swimming in the beautiful lake and great pool complex. The water in the lake was warm and so clean - gorgeous! we hired pedalos and bikes and really enjoyed the high ropes course that was 5 mins walk from the campsite. . this is a big campsite but well laid out, with lots of trees and shrubs to give privacy. We stayed at the end of the season so it didn't feel too busy. . . eurocamp reps very friendly and helpful and accommodation was very good - clean, well maintained with an added bonus of a gazebo over our outdoor table and chairs to provide shade and cover from the sun (and rain!) . . we didn't use the kids club activities so can't comment on this. . had to take own loo roll and outdoor shower block nearest to us was a bit smelly, but we used indoor showers which were very clean and pleasant. . wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely campsite and the area to others.
Andrea from North Yorkshire (25 August 2013)

Fantastic holiday - our friends have raved about key camp for years and now we know why - absolutely great for families - coming again next year!!!!
Confirmed Holidaymaker (24 August 2013)

Fab site, amazing location - shame about the toilets!
Louise from St Albans (24 August 2013)

Great holiday with loads to do. Swimming pool can be a little crowded during the weekend with locals using it as well. Lake was beautiful. Great place for walking and cycling. Accommodation is looking a little shabby but was clean and fuctional. Couriers could do more to explain what's at the camp, especially what is available for children to do and take part in.
Claire from Aldershot (23 August 2013)

Parc and general area very good, with exceptions. Accommodation very poor. The folding double bed could not be deployed, despite parc staff and keycamp technicians trying to fix it. My daughter's van, 943, had no hot water from arrival until the fourth day. 4 nights were freezing but no extra blankets available until last night. Dangerous electricity sub-station at the end of our street causing my granddaughter to be injured, reported to to chalain main reception and for first aid.
Brian from Cambridge (21 August 2013)

Good holiday, beautiful setting, good parc facilities
Sara from Market Bosworth (20 August 2013)

Super hideaway. Very relaxed and family-oriented.
Customer 140 from Grantham (19 August 2013)

Not bad
Confirmed Holidaymaker (19 August 2013)

An excellent site in a great location with lots to keep you busy both on and off site. the lake is stunning! the tents are excellently situated just a minutes stroll from the lakeside beach.
Ruth (19 August 2013)

Great parc with lots to do, would go back.
Katherine from Leeds (18 August 2013)

Generally very good parc with activities and places to see nearby. lakeside is stoney and could be improved - a few tons of sand would be perfect. use of canoes is a very good feature, well done. monkey trail (zipwires and climbing) is good there too.
Andrew from Derbyshire (17 August 2013)

Couriers were very friendly. I never did get my extra set of towels though, that I had ordered. Also I informed them that a family of rather large critters was living underneath the home as a piece of the sub floor was loose.. and they said they'd send maintenance right around. 3 days later no maintenance, and floor was still loose. It made it hard to sleep at night. The incredibly uncomfortable mattresses, full of springs, did not help. But the motorhome was good in all other aspects - clean, pleasant, etc. And the lake is beautiful. Be forewarned though, for those of you who thought you might book here because of the "free wifi" that eurocamp offers. The wifi might be free, but you can't join it unless you pay to use the internet! total scam, that part. Really dishonest.
Kirsten from Hanover (17 August 2013)

A truly beautiful part of france - the park catered well for all ages of children and families. We didn't know however that its open like a country park so there are day visitors which on weekends and bank holidays make it extremely busy. Eurocamp share this park with other holiday companies also. Overall it was a great site and the couriers were very friendly and helpful.
Sarah from Bedfordshire (17 August 2013)

Excellent holiday. Lovely campsite.
Louise from Braintree, Essex (17 August 2013)

Great holiday, lovely resort but could have done without live lions in the car park!
Helen from Cambridge (17 August 2013)

We enjoyed our time at the parc and the surrounding area - the highlight being a trip to geneva. the lake was nice and warm.
Christian from Gloucester (16 August 2013)

I find it totally baffling as to why you are not allowed in the swimming pool unless you are wearing really tight skimpy swimming trunks, seemed very strange to me. I wasnt allowed in as I had swimming shorts, I cannot think of any reason why this rule should exsist ?? only allowed to use the pool once in 24 hours, you cant go out for lunch and come back in again, try telling a 2 year old if you want lunch you cant go swimming again, they wouldnt understand why and neither do i, rest of the parc was lovely, great setting, but didnt like queing for half an hour to get in..
