A lovely, clean well-run parc - close to the beach and other local amenities. Short drive to lake beaches. We go on holiday to relax and unwind so haven't made any effort to seek out local cultural or historic hotspots. Suspect the site and the beach are hideously busy in the high season - our kids are grown up so we prefer to holiday when other people's kids are back at school. Only grumble is lack of a decent wi-fi connection.
Sue from Wakefield (07 September 2015)

Lovely campsite. Great pool. The courier mike was fantastically helpful.
Anne-Marie (07 September 2015)

We selected this park as, with young children, we wanted a short walk to the beach and be close to the surrounding pine forests with their many off road paths/cycle trackes. the location was perfect and exceeded our expectations - the local houtin plage village was close and provided a change from the park environment on the rare occassion we could tempt our children away from it's outdoor pool, slides etc! a great location for a family holiday.
Kathryn from Billericay (04 September 2015)

Second year at the park and probably going back next year - think that sums it up! we have kids 4 & 7 and the mixture of great pool facilities, 300m from the beach and 10 mins from a brilliant lake make it a great holiday. Mike the courier was fab and extremely friendly and helpful. Oh yes and the weather was really good which always helps.
Simon from Canterbury (02 September 2015)

The number of cyclists made me nervous as they were sharing the same space as people walking with small toddlers. Perhaps cycle paths should be assigned. Also the early bin collection one morning was so noisy seemed like the machine was broken!.
Ann (31 August 2015)

Fabulous holiday, excellent eurocamp courier and great facilities. Worth mentioning that with just 15 caravans (you could easily sell more!!) on a large site english was very much in the minority which slightly threw us on the first couple of days with kids club and evening entertainment. However on expressing this to the courier he soon introduced us the other english eurocampers so we could arrange meeting at kids club etc. This worked well and a great holiday was had by all!!!
Bonita (29 August 2015)

Great place for cyclists and surfers, also a great water park. The site is set within the pine forest so good mixture of sun traps and shade. 500m stroll from caravan to the beach through the village. Knowledgeable and very amiable courier - mike. The only gripe was how early and the din that the bin men came each and every morning aorund 6:30am.
Mark (29 August 2015)

We spent a lovely week here and enjoyed the park a lot, the swimming pools are lovely shame there are not more sun beds.. the beach is a 10 minute walk away with fantastic waves for surfing not swimming..
Michelle from Epsom (29 August 2015)

The park is well kept. Toilet and shower blocks spotless - always cleaners available. It would be nice to put toilet paper in the toilets. . wifi is hopeless - even if you pay you have to go to the reception to get a signal. Wifi is free in so many places these days that parcel really have to improve their connections and get boosters available. . the waterpark was impressive however the smaller slides were shut down for long periods which was odd. . the campsite shop was expensive - capitalising on the fact the earnest supermarket is 5 miles away. And towards the end of august the fresh stock was low.
Naomi from Barnet (28 August 2015)

Excellent holiday, facilities were excellent, all clean and tidy, staff helpful and friendly. Huge thanks to mike the eurocamp rep on site, he was a very helpful chap!!
Vanessa from Honiton (26 August 2015)

Great park - our second stay!. please eurocamp, do something about your awful mattresses! perhaps let management sleep on them for a week and see what they think. lumpy springs, hard as nails and old - when you're paying for a premium chalet you expect better. would have been happy to give 10/10 otherwise.
Vicky from Devon (23 August 2015)

Don't need to say much other than we're going again next year.
Stuart (10 August 2015)

Great water park & accomodation. Courier was really helpful (i prefer older couriers). lovely site. Although beware the skateboarders & the no so polite bar & restaurant staff.
Caroline from Stratford Upon Avon (09 August 2015)

This was our 2nd time at the park and had high expectations after having a fabulous holiday here last year and it didn't disappoint. Mobile home was in a good spot, facilities at the park excellent, especially the pool area and close to a lovely beach.
Sarah from Near Stafford (08 August 2015)

We had a fantastic two weeks at cote d'argent with our three children, 10,7 & 5. Eurocamp vans are perfectly situated next to the pool, tennis court and football pitch. They were also right near the entrance of the park, with the beach a short walk away. This isn't a quiet park so don't expect it to be peaceful.its a lively park with lots going on, day and night.
Charlotte from Gloucestershire (03 August 2015)

A great campsite with a brilliant water park that kept the kids thoroughly entertained.
Erika from London (26 July 2015)

Wonderful holiday at this lovely parc. Great facilities, excellent pools and the most beautiful beach a stone's throw from the camp. Mike, the eurocamp rep was brilliant. Always on hand to ask any questions, with a wealth of local knowledge. Accomodation was clean and well equipped. All in all one of our best holidays and certainly the best eurocamp experience we have had, and we have had many good ones!
Andrea from Beverley (26 July 2015)

Large campsite with great swimming complex, campsite and facilities were very clean. Short walk to the beach and good shops in the village for all your needs. Large supermarket was about 25 minutes away in car. we enjoyed canoeing in the lake as it was safer and warmer than the sea. you really need a car for this site as it is very out on its own. the daily market in montalivet is worth a visit.
Darryl (17 July 2015)

Parc very good except for restaurant which wasn't to our liking ( a bit pizza and chips). hourtin plage is a very quiet resort with not many facilities.
Brian from Tonbridge (09 July 2015)

Good location, good parc, but the accommodation could do with being upgraded to the standard of other eurocamp locations
Simon from Lingfield (28 June 2015)

Well kept park with lovely pool complex.
Denise from Plymouth (23 June 2015)

We enjoyed our holiday very much and had good weather over the 10 days we stayed on the campsite. As we like to visit towns & villages while on holiday we felt that having to spend 45mins to an hour each way to visit somewhere or do shopping was not for us. No where is that far but the roads are slow. if you don't want to leave the park or the local beach then I would recommend this park especially for families as the swimming pools & playgrounds were excellent.
Marie from Northumberland (23 June 2015)

Our stay was 8th june - 20th, I do not recommend this parc to any family travelling with children prior to july / aug. There was no onsite entertainment, no parc run childrens clubs, told both only operate july + aug only upon arriving, was not notified prior although eurocamp aware of travelling with school agaed children, although I appreciate we are still in term I still would expect some entertainment for people holidaying during term. There is no other facility other than the swimming pool (which I add was not life guarded). the football court was locked, so not excessable unless climbing the gate, tennis court was also locked, chargable per half hour at €8. The volley ball pitch covered in branches / twigs / pine cones so not ideal to use for children or even adults, (cut and scratched feet many times). we made the mistake of flying into bordeaux and using airport transfer to parc, I do not recommend this either (they say we learn from our mistakes) there was no local transport to hourtin or surrounding areas again we was told no bus service only in july / aug. The onsite shop is not equipted for all what you would need for a long stay, we had to pay for taxi's to and from travelling places. Onsite bike hire again was closed, the arcade machinces was a small roomed selection of no more than 6 different games to play would entertain children for 10 minutes, the ping pong tables whole 2 of them were outside so not ideal to use unless hot and then I would expect them to be busy. The far sided wash / shower blocks were mouldy and have not been cleaned for a good year + maybe only cleaned for july I would expect. We were just lucky the weather was good so only thing we could really do was use the pool, without that being open there literaly would be nothing else to do unless paying €40 each per half day for the children to go along to local surf school. The beach is nice, 5 minute walk no beachside entertainment though, most local shops, icecreams were all closed. Opened once the entite 2 week stay. The play equipment ( swing and small child climb frame) was out dated and not ideal. Im not saying I expect the parc to be responsible for the entertainment of our children however I do expect there to be on offer facilities and entertainment to take part in. The fact parc run childrens club is advertised, this option is only available im july + aug aswell as the site entertainment for the evening even arrived to a welcome bookelt designed for thr parc which was all about fun stations and facilities which the parc do not offer. . . I cannot fault the courier on camp, he did the best he could to provide local knowledge and entertain us all, he put a slat line up for the children which my youngest (7years) enjoyed. . . the accomodation, again cannot fault, was clean and well equipped only 1 little niggle is that the provider blankets are not cleaned after used by other guests. . the advertised wifi on site does not connect from the accomodation you need to be in main site reception area to get a slight connection which is poor if a few people connect at the same time, also when paying for wifi you can only connect 1 device. . we did call customer relations 3 days in to our stay and was offered a tranfer to another parc 3 hours drive away, however without a car we was expected to pay €300 for a private taxi and even more for the return taxi to bordeaux at the end of the stay I would have been looking at at least €900 in travel expenses due to the poor facilities on this parc with no offer in help with the cost. So this was not an option we could afford. Since returning I have discovered there have been several visiting families with the same situation who were tranferred to other sites upon complaint.
Vanessa from Ipswich (21 June 2015)

This is a good parc for a beach holiday and staff were helpful and friendly. The area is peaceful in june and the beaches and waves magnificent. Families need to be aware that although there is a good campsite shop (mini casino) there are no large supermarkets nearby apart from an aldi. It is not a location we would recommend for people without their own transport. Campsite restaurant was good and quite reasonably priced compared to the nearby offsite eateries. Wouldn't be great if the weather was poor.
Chris from Cirencester, Gloucestershire (21 June 2015)

The ratings I have given for our holiday relate to the specific park of cote d'argent, simply because on our arrival the place was pretty much shut! the look on our kids faces was heartbreaking. The fabulous splash fort shown in the brochure was shut with only the indoor heated pool open. As soon as we arrived we spoke to the eurocamp courier, phil, who was extremely helpful in helping us relocate 2hr south the following day to the biscarrosse campsite which was utterly fabulous, with all the pools, lazy river and wave machine operating. I understand we were not the first family to have arrived and requested a change of location, since the wording in the first edition brochure from which we booked was to say the least misleading. Noticeably this wording was removed from the subsequent main edition brochure. One other point I think is worth mentioning is the fact the courier was having to deal with these issues alone, with him being the sole eurocamp courier on site. I feel this was very unfair on the individual concerned since I suspect we were the first of many customers that arrived to be disappointed, and i'm sure many would not have been as understanding as we were.
Marie from Pulborough (31 May 2015)

Brilliant holiday. Lovely park.
Confirmed Holidaymaker (30 May 2015)

I booked a family holiday for 2 nights. The pictures and the marketing material showed a great environment for children. Unfortuantley neither the pool nor the kids club was opened although euro campo knew I had a 4 year old son. At no point at all did eurocamp or the courier tell me that the pool and kids club would be closed when this was the sole reasosn for our vacation. I will be writing separately asking for a full refund.
Confirmed Holidaymaker (22 May 2015)

Will be returning next year same time same place
Kevin from Wakefield (09 September 2014)

Nice park close to the beach. The eurocamp pitches are very shady which would have been nice in hot weather but as it was quite changeable when we were there it would have been nice to be able to have meals in the sun. We could hear the disco at night.
Susan from Leeds (30 August 2014)

Fantastic park, amazing pool and water slides. Beautiful location in pine forest. Lovely mix of nationalities. Only slight downside was entertainment went on til late (didn't bother us but might bother young families with a pitch close to reception). overall amazing holiday at a really lovely site, would definitely return.
Naomi (30 August 2014)

Tony the courier was brilliant, nothing was too much for him. . I have been to a few eurocamps and I am planning on going back, if tony is there
Leonard (28 August 2014)

The park was very busy, found the crazy pitching of tents on every a scrap of land disconcerting. There was lots of noise at night, but accept it was high season. We felt that the park was better suited to older children and teenagers. Whilst busy the pools were amazing!
Catherine from Buntingford (27 August 2014)

Great camp courier tony. Very helpful. Accommodation was immaculate. Only big problem was that the deck of our home was always in shade and cold whilst others has beautiful position and were very sunny. We couldn't sit outside or really get stuff dry. Wonderful beach and some great places to visit nearby.
Sian from Taunton (24 August 2014)

Excellent parc, location and holiday.
Claire from Malvern (20 August 2014)

Fabulous site, pool complex was one of the best we have seen on a french site and kept all the family entertained. Facilities on site kept nice and clean. Site location was perfect for the beach, a very short walk away. resort was small but adequate for our needs. Short drive to the main town for supermarket etc. Local lake is ideal for toddlers, warm, shallow and safe bathing. Big thumbs up to tony, the eurocamp rep, very welcoming, provided us with all information we needed regarding local amenities etc
Susanne from Macclesfield (17 August 2014)

Great accomodation.parc had lots of activities and good facilities. Great beach. Hourtin port with lake really good. Cycle trails good but longer than we realised. Good restaurants along road to beach. Lots to see and do in area pilat sand dune was amazing but very busy in school holiday time. Not enough sunbeds around pool. Restaurant on site was not good quality.
Karen from Cheltenham (16 August 2014)

When we arrived we were greeted by tony our courier who was of a mature age. Tony explained everything in great detail about the parc surrounding areas where to go and also explained the accommodation in full. Tony was always on hand if we had any questions about our stay. We would like to say that is was nice to have a mature courier who know about life. He is a asset to euro camp in making sure we had a great time. We have rebooked to come back next year due to the service we have just had from tony, we also found out from out holiday makers that this was not their first time due to the work and commitment tony gave. The only thing I was very disappointed with due to running my own business was that the wifi was non existent. We have been to other sites and have had no problems but to say in your brochure that this is available you need to follow this through and make sure that this is working to the correct standard of which did not happen. I paid for 3 weeks and only got onto the service 3 times for a very short period. I do not like paying for something that I have not got, this was the case on this one.?? I will only go to sites that can provide a good service due to the nature of my business regarding wifi. I would also like to say from a professional point of view the accommodation that you give your staff should at least be of the same standard that you are offering us. Also the position of the tents is not good for the people who are in the accommodation behind in having to look over them all of the time. I hope you will take my review and make these small changes for next year when we are returning. This will make this site 5* with 10/10
Andrew from Rochester (12 August 2014)

We loved the park. The nearby lake is great and the pool at the site is brilliant and not as crowded as we expected for an august holiday. Eurocamp vans are all located together, which was great for the kids as they made loads of friends. Lots to do and great cycle routes for a brilliant outdoor holiday. Tony the courier was brilliant and we've already booked the same park for next year.
Simon from Canterbury (08 August 2014)

Our first time at a eurocamp and we loved it. the eurocamp mobile homes are in a fantastic location close to the pool and the centre and create quite a village atmosphere. Tony the rep was very welcoming and on hand for any information needed. we, and the kids, made some great friends. the beach is amazing and my 8 year old loved the waves with his dad while the younger two enjoyed jumping the smaller waves. the pools were lovely (more loungers definitely needed) but we were happy to sit on the edge of the pool. bikes can be hired just outside the park and the cycle paths are good. Good selection of restaurants in the road up to the beach. the lake is def worth a visit or two, it has a large sandy beach and is shallow and warm so good for smaller ones. there is also a inflatable wipeout course which was great fun. We are in the process of booking to go back next year.
Helen from Banstead (08 August 2014)

Fantastic holiday really lovely camp. Holiday courier excellent: friendly, welcoming, helpful and able to give good advice when needed. Accommodation extremely clean on arrival. Double bed uncomfortable, mattress very hard hence the 7/10 since a good night's sleep is important. . . .
Barbara from Coventry (05 August 2014)

Park facilities were brilliant! lots of space near to eurocamp caravans for children to play. My 8 year old loved nipping to the football pitch whenever there was a few minutes spare. The pool area was fantastic, plenty to keep the 4 of us entertained. Beach only 5 minute walk away was excellent for body boarding. Hourtin lake, 15 minute drive away, was also a hit with us all. Shallow, warm(ish) water that was really safe even for our 5 year old to go in by himself. . we all had a fantastic time and have already booked up again for next year.
Sarah from Stafford (30 July 2014)

Garry from Dartmouth (30 July 2014) this park
Fiona from Perth (28 July 2014)

Fabulous resort; excellent facilities.
Customer 44 (28 July 2014)

Great camp great clean caravan great facilities
Jane from Church Lawton Cheshire (25 July 2014)

Excellent family holiday. This is a large, but very clean and well kept parc with superb water complex set amongst a pine forest with easy access to both beach, freshwater lake and loads of safe cycle routes.
Jonathan from Leicester (23 July 2014)

Overall a great holiday. the accommodation was straightforward but well-equipped, the eurocamp courier was very helpful, and the swimming pool and aqua pirates very popular! the only complaint we had was that the organised entertainment on the parc was noisy every night up till 11:30pm or sometimes midnight (not the campers - the parc entertainment itself), which we weren't expecting. apart from that, though, everything was good.
Julia from West Sussex (22 July 2014)

Brilliant parc.
Charlotte from Durham (18 July 2014)

We had a really great holiday at cote d'argent. We have been to lots of different sites aroung france with eurocamp over the last 3 years and this one was definately the best. The campsite was well maintained and not too big. The pool complex was excellent. Heated water and a good balance of slides and pools. Bar and restaurant on site, really nice swing parks ( plural) for the kids and loads of free activities all week organised by the campsite. Tony the rep was the best and nothing was too much trouble. Always around if you needed him and a fountain of local knowledge. Off site I don't think you can beat the location. Less than 5 minutes walk to the beach, past some very nice restaurants and bars. We have already booked to go back to cote d'argent next year and would definately recommend it.
Amelia from France (13 July 2014)

Great holiday surfers paradise
Michael from Ockmore (10 July 2014)

Our courier, tony, was absolutely brilliant! he was there when we needed him and had great local knowledge. accommodation was clean and tidy with a very welcome bottle of wine! the site is set in a beautiful pine forest and very close to a glorious sandy beach and plenty of eateries.
Angus from Bristol (05 July 2014)

This park is great especially for the kids. This was the first time i've used a eurocamp and it won't be the last. The pool is fab with an amazing pirate ship attached to it. It's totally child friendly. The beach is 300 meters away and is lovely. Only bad thing is the dog poo leading up to the beach which I was shocked about because it's so beautiful, why the locals allow that is beyond me, but there is no dog poo on the beach it's self. There is also a near by lake which is worth a visit. The area is great because of the weather it was amazing every day. We drove from the uk after a stop at euro disney it took about 6 hours from paris and it was cloudy all the way but once we hit this area the sun came out and stayed out our whole stay. Ione other thing to mention is it's very quite hardly any tourists which I love. If you can make the journey go.
Richard from Leeds (23 June 2014)

Great park, with good beach and forest location. My daughters loved the pirate water park.tony was really helpful, giving lots of advice on the local area. We'll be back
Richard from Manchester (07 June 2014)

If you can't guess from the scores above - i'd say it was fantastic.. perfect for a relaxing break - friendly locals and the best courier we've ever had - in a period of 17 years with keycamp and eurocamp.. highly recommended - can't wait to go back.
Steven (01 June 2014)

An attractive parc site with a lovely water park for kids and pools - indoor and outdoor. Free gym. Downside - paying for wifi
Di from Stony Stratford (24 May 2014)

Lovely warm september weather in a relaxing unspoilt little resort. The new pirates waterpark looked great fun. We would definitely return to this park.
Stephen from Hyde (12 September 2013)

Very good location and facilities excellent. tony our site rep was wonderful. hope to return next year.
Josephine from Village (09 September 2013)

Our second eurocamp holiday and even better than the first: excellent facilities and a first class welcome from the courier at hourtin plage
Michael from York (09 September 2013)

Parc too big and not personal enough for me. Not sure how it has got premier parc status
Alison (09 September 2013)

We had an excellent holiday at cote d'agent and can't wait to go back.
Rachel from Norwich (07 September 2013)

Great time had by all!
Sarah (31 August 2013)

Brilliant holiday. Site is great - the pirate water slide is the best! just a short walk from a very nice sandy beach and those waves - so much fun. A very relaxing atmosphere on the site, in the village and on the beach.
Mike from Reading (28 August 2013)

A wonderful holiday in a really great parc. The parc is really well run and lots going on all the time. It is a very big busy parc but the facilities are well maintained. The only gripe is that there are not nearly enough sunbeds in the pool area. The eurocamp cabins are great, clean and well maintained and the courier, tony, was wonderful; efficient, friendly and a great source of local information, everything one wants in a courier. The beach and shops in hourtin plage are fabulous, with great boogie boarding and swimming.
Fiona from Reading (24 August 2013)

Overall this holiday was perfect for us ; we love the beach nearby and the campsite (specifically the location of our accommodation) offers the right balance between peace and quiet, and activities. Access to shops, supermarkets, local markets and vineyards is also very good. The on-site eurocamp courier, tony, was excellent.
Andrew from Barnet (23 August 2013)

We had a very relaxing holiday helped of course by good weather for the length of our stay.
Ruth from Nantwich (22 August 2013)

Aqua pirates was awesome and we spent hours there every afternoon. the camp was full when we were there but it never felt to crowded. lovely lovely place to stay.
Vanessa from Calstock (18 August 2013)

Great holiday. Good or surfing and young kids with the pool facilities.
Lucy from Taunton (17 August 2013)

A fantastic location for a beach holiday an the eurocamp cabins are well-situated on this large park. Aqua pirates was a huge hit, as were the amazing atlantic waves.
Emily from Reading (10 August 2013)

Brilliant holiday. Relaxed, fun for all. Will go back.
Deborah (10 August 2013)

Apart from a tummy bug it was a fantastic holiday that all the family really enjoyed.
Zoe from Bedfordshire (07 August 2013)

Great parc. accommodation was clean and adequate, although the beds were very uncomfortable. courier was fantastic - very helpful, informative and thoughtful. cost would have been less through a different provider.
David from Andover (05 August 2013)

Beautiful area of france. The camp is in a great location close to an amazing sandy beach and small, but friendly horton plage, which is packed with lovely restaurants and pretty shops. The camp site has three fantastic pools and a brand new water feature, pirate adventure which is great fun for the kids and fun loving adults and there are lots of other activities to get involved in if you wish. Overall, a brilliant family holiday. We have already booked a return visit next summer.
Chris And Barbara from Coventry (03 August 2013)

Lovely site if a little scruffier than others we've been to but the location is second to none. Being able to walk to the beach and resort really makes it un beatable. Tony, the courier couldn't do enough and made us very welcome and kept us up to date e.g. Warning us about a storm alert.
Louise from Milton Keynes (29 Jul 2013)

Great campsite within 5 mins walk of a great beach. Went with 3 young children in july who enjoyed the brilliant pool, slides and new "pirate adventure" area immensely. . children found plenty to do at the park and when we needed a change, the shops and beach at hourin plage was perfect. Can't speak highly enough of our eurocamp courier tony. He really was amazing, texting us in advance to confirm our arrival time and to tell us that that aircon in our mobile home was on!! whilst there he was full of helpful tips and always available whenever needed.
Tarek from London (28 Jul 2013)

We enjoyed every minute of this holiday.
Louise from London (28 Jul 2013)

Had a brilliant holiday and would definately recommend hourtin plage
Andre from Wiltshire (27 Jul 2013)

The best holiday we have had as a family so far.
Andrew from Canterbury (23 Jul 2013)

Excellent site near to beach, good pitches with plenty of shade
Garry from Dartmouth (21 Jul 2013)

We had a brilliant holiday. Many things made the holiday great but the main thing was the caravan was perfectly clean. The ac was on when we arrived for our comfort. We were met personally by tony our courier, who gave us the important info regarding the area and the park. We had called tony from our car enroute as we were unsure about the ferry. He found out the information we needed and called us back within 10 minutes. we thought this was excellent service. during our stay we and our young kids saw tony daily just to say hello to and the kids liked him very much. Thanks for a great holiday.
Tracy from Earlston-Scottish Borders (17 Jul 2013)

We had a great time here. Kids loved the pools and water parc with the flumes. Friendly feel to the whole place. Lovely to be a 3 minute walk from hourtin plage where we went to watch sunset over the atlantic !! felt sad to be leaving after one week here. delighted to have chosen this campsite ! on-site evening entertainment not up to much but games area quite good for playing pool. Could do with more evening entertainment for teenagers
Jennifer from Glasgow (13 Jul 2013)

Good weather, well run parc and a first class courier
Christine from North East (12 Jul 2013)

We had a really relaxing time and it was great watching our 4 year old son make great use of the excellent water facilities on this site. The weather could've been more consistent, we had 4 cloudy / rainy days but this did stop us having a great time.
Michael from Nottingham / Mansfield (02 Jul 2013)

The location was perfect, close to the beach. The parc was immaculate, the layout of the chalets allowed some privacy. It was very picturesque (?!). the staff took pride in their work. The accommodation was spotless. Eurocamp rep, tony, was brilliant. he was very helpful, had good knowledge of the parc and gave invaluable information about the area. The chalet looked brand new, really good standard of cleanliness. would definitely return to the site
Trudie from Warrington (30 Jun 2013)

Well run campsite, good to be able to walk into town.the beach is amazing, does it ever get packed?
Robert from Poole (27 Jun 2013)

The weather let us down! . we enjoyed 2.5 sunny days out of the 14 days we were at the site.
Brian from Belfast (24 Jun 2013)

Weather poor. No warning that early july was jellyfish season on the beach. Pool only open on day of arrival and water therefore cool for first few days. Indoor pool ok though. Due to weather very littel to do in area. .
Stephen from Waterlooville (23 Jun 2013)

The only thing that tended to spoil the holiday was the weather. If that had been good, I would have given straight tens! good courier who knew his stuff. You should send him to switzerland next year, he deserves it.
Neil from Riberac France (21 Jun 2013)

Would have been a great holiday but unfortunately the weather was not good
Jean-Noel from Taunton (19 Jun 2013)

The location was stunning with pine forest, sand dunes, an outstanding beach and view of the atlantic ocean. .
Ann from Lympne, Hythe, Kent. (04 Jun 2013)

The park was clean and pleasant though when we went during whitson week the swimming pool was still being refurbished and still not opened when it was supposedly meant to be ready. The beach was beautiful with no end in sight due to the 45km long shoreline. The village was small with a few restaurants and one surf shop. There is surfing instruction if required. There is an aldi in the next town but the biggest supermarket is some 20km away. Overall I would recommend is site if you can stand the 14 hour drive from calais.
Nicola from Gosport (02 Jun 2013)

Great area to explore - the inland lake is sheltered when the beach is windy and the medoc wine region is very close by!
John (26 May 2013)

Second stay here and we'll go again but next time hope for better weather.
Eric from Bude (25 May 2013)

Late may is not high season for either weather or full use of facilities. However - brilliant welcome and support from rep and good use of the indoor pool. Liked the quiet, access to the trails and the acres of sand.
John from Cambridge (24 May 2013)
