Excellent 2nd time at this camp site
Albert from Doncaster (22 September 2015)

Plenty to do and lovely places to see we had so much fun wish you had a camp near colmar had great fun going out and about so much to see and do
Jennifer from Folkestone (21 September 2015)

Although we only stayed one night as we were passing through it was great and we'd have loved to stay longer
Christopher from Stafford (19 September 2015)

Beautiful location, very peaceful, suited us very well as we knew what we wanted to do and see in the area. Campsite itself had very little to offer at the end of season. We went to the restaurant at approx 20.45 and the first words were 'no food now, you can't eat here' so we had a coffee and left and didn't trouble them again. Couriers were friendly and helpful.
Pamela from Callington (19 September 2015)

Having never visited germany or indeed the black forest area, the site served as a good base to explore the area and was also convenient to explore the alsace area of france. If we had had more time we would have explored the walking and cycling pathways.
Islwyn from St Neots (15 September 2015)

A great week in a superb part of the world
Mike from Leicester (07 September 2015)

A lovely small, quiet parc, very clean and well kept. The mobile home was very clean and had everything we needed for the 2 nights and was very good value. the large supermarket was just a short walk down the road and was very handy. We visited the swimming pool next door and had a lovely time, this too was very clean. The 2 reps were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed visiting the market in freiburg and going for a walk around triberg. Visiting the world's largest cuckoo clock on the way to triberg was fun!
Kathryn from Ashford (07 September 2015)

Great park, friendly couriers, campsite owner and staff. wonderful views, lovely food on site. brilliant pool complex. lots to do. in the surrounding area. 2 fantastic days at europa park (much better than disney). 1 wonderful day at steinwassen park - plenty to do.
Jayne from Bridgnorth (05 September 2015)

The parc is very basic compared to other eurocam locations, however it does offer a great base to experience the best in the black forest.
David from Littleport (31 August 2015)

Small attractive quiet site with good simple restaurant and amazing couriers. Fantastic swimming pool complex for toddlers to teenagers next door at very reasonable price.
Rachel from Swindon (30 August 2015)

The holiday was relaxing and peaceful. it was exactly what we needed as a family. it was fantastic to open your caravan door in the morning and take in the wonderful scenery.
Carol from Manchester (29 August 2015)

Wonderful weather made this a fantastic holiday. Couriers robin and debbie were fantastic and so helpful. Lots to see and do. We didn't mind paying for the swimming but it can be a nuisance as once you leave you can't get back in without paying again. I have scored value for money low after finding out if I was dutch or german I would be paying far less for the same accommodation.
Edward from Herbolzheim (29 August 2015)

This campsite does not have a swimming pool. The pictures are misleading. The toilet block is very nice and clean. The campsite is in a convenient location.
Charlotte (28 August 2015)

Good location for a stop over
Lynda from Alfreton (26 August 2015)

Due to a very unexpected drive to this parc I cannot review it we arrived late no courier. We weren't able to experience the site due to leaving early the next day. . it would have been better to stay for two days due to the long drive.
Denise (23 August 2015)

A fantastic holiday in a beautiful part of the world. the couriers were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. being near to such a lovely pool complex was a definite bonus - great for children/families.
Lorna from Fareham (23 August 2015)

A lovely peaceful site.
Amanda from Beverley (23 August 2015)

A lovely setting with clean and new accommodation. The couriers were friendly and helpful. However, we did full that more emphasis should have been placed in the booklet that no ball games were allowed on site and that children had to leave the parc to access the football pitch and other facilities such as the tennis so they were not really part of the camp as advertised. There were also signs around stating that you should be silent at particular times , which is not always easy with a young family. The booklet also fails to mention that the gates to the camp are closed between 1-3 pm to allow the owner to have a siesta. Lovely pool complex but again you are looking at 50 euros for 10 days which is good value if you are going to use it every day. The atmosphere was not as relaxed as other camps we have stayed at in portugal and france.
Emma (19 August 2015)

This is a lovely little site. It's immaculate and pretty and a great base for exploring. Although we didn't use it the pool looked great. The restaurant is lovely and the staff there very welcoming.
Emma from London (18 August 2015)

Fantastic holiday park just on the edge of the black forest. Stopped for 8 nights and the are loads of things to do, just do your research before you go. And if you love theme parks the best one in europe is 4km away. Make sure you get on the front row of blue fire. Weather was dry and hot 30-38c. Would I go back again, hell yes.
Gary from Sheffield (15 August 2015)

The owner of the park was extremely rude when it came to the english people on the parc . he was also mindless in the fact our son has special needs. The restaurant manager also was foul and would'nt serve us take out ..but would everyone else. We were very limited there were not places to eat and we left over a day early. Euro tunnel were amazing in letting us go home early
Joanne (13 August 2015)

Absolutely wonderful camp site, beautifully kept, bright & clean accommodation with fantastic couriers and site staff. Robin and debbie were extremely friendly and hard working and made the holiday such a joy. It would have been even better if there was easier and more flexible access to the swimming pool (to enable us to have come and gone) but it didn't distract too much. Washing machines and games/books facilities were excellent.
Mel (13 August 2015)

Excellent site and location, eurocamp couriers brilliant.
Philip from Bristol (10 August 2015)

Great holiday, lovely campsite and fantastic couriers, robin & debbie!
Phil from Dereham (06 August 2015)

Lovely quiet site on the outskirts of the town. local swimming pool complex next door and cycle paths galore. easy access to autobahn.
Wendy from Cockermouth (31 July 2015)

We had a lovely time. weather was a little changeable and as a consequence the adjacent swimming pool was not open for some of the time which was a little disappointing. overall though we had a really good time.
Ruth from Southampton (30 July 2015)

Well kept site, good garden size around the accomodation. The swimming pool next door is brilliant. The eurocamp reps are lovely at this site and very helpful. There is no ball games on the site but just at the entrance to the camp is a football pitch. Europa park is only ten minutes away and has some fantastic roller coasters, well worth a visit.
Kay from Oswaldtwitle (29 July 2015)

Clean, friendly and a reasonably priced restaurant.
Customer 28 from Norwich (26 July 2015)

This was the first leg of a multi destination holiday, we have been many times but wish we had stayed longer.
Maxine from Kendal (26 July 2015)

Great location near europa park. Swimming complex great. Lovely restaurant in the village on the terrace
Carole from Swimming Complex Great (24 July 2015)

A delightful parc with some great views. Relaxing.
Mark from London (20 July 2015)

Eurocamp couriers helpful as ever but the camp itself was rather disappointing. The pool was not on the camp but was the public pool and had to be paid for separately, the restaurant refused to sell us takeaway pizza despite us being told that it did so. The gate shut between 1pm and 3pm and between 9.30pm until 8am which did not appear to be for the customers but rather for the benefit of the camp owner.
Carol from Scotland (18 July 2015)

We arrived at 12 :30pm and I know you make the caravans available from 3pm, but they were free and we could have got on with our stay. As it was we had to go and buy lunch and drinks and wait until that time. The van, when we got it was very well positioned and appointed. The weather was great, which lifts everything. Nice welcome gift. Could have had the fridge cooling, considering the heat. Couriers were pleasant and stay was enjoyable.
Fraser from Belfast (17 July 2015)

Quiet, immaculately kept site. Accommodation was spotless but rather old. We love the black forest for sight seeing. Families would love the europa park and steinwasen park nearby.
Ray from Newtownards. (12 July 2015)

Good lovely area need to visit lots of places. Quiet site but suits us and restaurant basic but good
Dorothy from Co Durham (05 July 2015)

Very enjoyable
Lynda from Helsby (29 June 2015)

We had a brilliant time at this parc, the couriers were great and there was plenty to do in the surrounding area. Will definitely return!
Marc (26 June 2015)

Had an amazing holiday, made all the more by the couriers, they could not be bettered
Robert from Hereford (22 June 2015)

The best park we stayed in
Maggie (20 June 2015)

Lovely little site. On site restaurant good value for money with some local/traditional dishes on offer. Easy to order bread rolls for breakfast from reception.
Nichola from Essex (19 June 2015)

Very good camp and couriers
Stan from Canewdon (19 June 2015)

We have been to this park before. This year we used it as a stop-over. It is a very quiet park. Lovely view.
Carey from Houghton-Le-Spring (18 June 2015)

A relaxing holiday on a small parc. Pleasant local walks and within a short drive of both back forest attractiions and the route des vins villages in france.
Mary from Bolton (17 June 2015)

Fantastic site and area
Nigel from Chatham (16 June 2015)

Great parc, small and quiet on a slope. Supermarket close by. Europa park on the door step. Able to tour through the black forest and various villages. Would use this site again but select a larger cabin for space.
George from Aberdeen (12 June 2015)

A great holiday in a beautiful area, lots to do and see if you like to get out and about. This site would also appeal to those wanting to sit and read.
Stewart from Congleton (09 June 2015)

Overall this was a very good holiday although we didn't expect it to be so hot in early june.(30degrees). the area was excellent, with fantastic scenery, quiet roads and many places of interest nearby.
Marian from Canterbury (07 June 2015)

Scenic park and clean facilities. Would recommend. Not the best park for lively children
Confirmed Holidaymaker (31 May 2015)

Overall excellent
Clive from Worksop (30 May 2015)

Excellent holiday, weather was mixed, some days quite cold as well as rainy, but that's just luck of the draw. superb place for bikes (we had brought ours with us). definitely hope to return.
Neil from Southampton (29 May 2015)

Great location with eurocamp sites having the best views. Convenient for europa park.
Richard from Switzerland (25 May 2015)

There is plenty to see and do in the black forest, which is a clean and well maintained area of germany. Visits can include walking by the longest waterfall in germany, watching the biggest cuckoo clock in the world or just ambling/cycling along well made tracks.
Anne from Oldham (18 May 2015)

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location.
Eve (17 May 2015)

Courriers can make the difference and these were great!that is herbholzeim. As for gigny - great site and we hope to return next year - maybe to both next year, but see: you have pretty identical facilities to your competitors. The couriers could make the difference but at gigny they did not actually tell us the truth about the need to change mobile homes even though as we stayed the night when they said we had to move out we could see that no new customers came in
Sue from Hants (05 May 2015)

Short stay en route.very, very peaceful-no shop, evening only bar but superb views south rfom our pitch.great accomodation.newish.3-bed esprit.good settee.warm
Customer 55 (04 May 2015)

Fantastic absolutely loved it. staff were fantastic.
Shirley (12 April 2015)

Really lovely camp, great restaurant
Samantha from Diss, Norfolk (12 April 2015)

We absolutely loved our holiday. We thought it was better than disneyland paris. The couple were very nice to speak to and approach with any issues. Absolutely loved it would definitely go back and stay at the same parc.
Maura-Ann from Gutersloh (11 April 2015)

We went out of season so nothing was really open yet however the staff at the restaurant on site made up for anything else that was closed! they were fab! it was over easter weekend and they really helped with things to do and even have us some little easter chocolate bunnies! euro camp staff fantastic as always! lots of things to do around the area would say you would need a car with you to do most though due to the locations of some of the attractions.
Lee from Essex (06 April 2015)

This parc is ideally located, with the black forest on one side & the rhine on the other. Both areas can be accessed with a short drive. . the site itself is small & quiet, ideal for a peaceful break. However, for families, there is very little to do onsite. The site is mainly tourer's on the lower levels, with about a dozen eurocamp homes set at the top of the site. Not ideal for those who are in any way infirm, as the road up is quite steep. One really annoying issue is the fact that the main gates are closed from 1 'till 3 pm. This means that you cannot get your vehicle off site between those hours. If you are planning on going off the site with your car, you must remember to take the vehicle off site & into the car park beyond the gates before 1pm otherwise you cannot leave until after 3pm. Pedestrian access is fine at all times. I can't see any valid reason for this annoying rule. In summary, we really enjoyed our stay at herbolzheim, using the site as a base and touring the black forest & rhine areas. In this capacity, the site is fine, but not suitable as an on parc stay, as their is little to do.
Graham from Northwich (25 September 2014)

Excellent at herbolzheim with brilliant couriers. poor service at berny riviere where we stopped over for 2 nights each way.
Valerie from Cumnor, Oxford (22 September 2014)

Very quiet peaceful site, several nice places to eat in herbolzheim not mentioned in literature. Easy access to sights and attractions. Be careful if you go late season as the pool complex closed for the season just after we arrived.
Peter from Sussex (22 September 2014)

Lovely quiet parc , with excellent views, very pretty area.
Howard from Hull (22 September 2014)

Enjoyed the location and lovely views. Reps friendly and informative. Only drawback was closure of the stunning swimming pool due to season but weather for our week stay was fantastic. Planning to revisit next year.
Penny from Thakeham (21 September 2014)

This site was excellent, small but the vans were very well kept, all clean, spacious, resturant on site was excellent and good value for money. we did not use camp facilities as we were only at site for 3 nights.
Kathryn from Windsor (21 September 2014)

The parc shop and restaurant closed too early, this could be due to it being near the end of season? no other bar on site. The pool was off site and had to be paid for, wifi also expensive and almost ineffective.
Gilbert from Romford, Essex (19 September 2014)

This is a very small site as stated and we enjoyed our stay very much. however, the eurocamp rep was nowhere to be seen during our stay and did not greet us on arrival even though we arrived before 8pm. also, the campsite restaurant only accepts cash, you are not able to pay by debit card so be warned!
Nicola from Basingstoke (17 September 2014)

We really enjoyed our holiday. The natterer see sight was very professional and friendly, it was just a small point but we went on to herbolzeim and the toilet/showers facility there was a 10, also the courier at herbolzeim was more accessible.
Confirmed Holidaymaker from Bewdley (15 September 2014)

Our stay at the herbolzeim camp was the highlight of our holiday. it's in a lovely area. Very comfortable accommodation and helpful wardens. The restaurant was great with just enough variety to last our stay
Bernard from Staffordshire (09 September 2014)

The camp at herbolzeim is lovely so much so we have already booked to go back next june, this will be the 3rd time at the camp. It is ideally situated to discover the black forest and even switzerland. There is only one thing that is missing in the chalet and that is a toaster.
Michael from Stoke On Trent. (08 September 2014)

It is what it says in the brochure a very small site. but if you want peace and quiet and beautiful scenery then its perfect. the couriers on site are so friendly and helpful. lots of picturesque places to visit.
Wendy from Newcastle (05 September 2014)

Our stay with eurocamp was excellent. The mobile home was very clean and tidy, normally I would give it a clean over when we arrive to make sure it is up to my standard of cleanliness but this time there was no need. The eurocamp couriers where friendly and helpful. The swimming pool which is the local community swimming pool (small charge applies) was excellent and had a selection of pools some of which were heated, and a baby pool for my 22 month old which he loved. The only thing that let us down was the weather (shame eurocamp can't arrange that for you) which meant that the children only lasted half an hour on cold days in the heated pool. The eurocamp team were also excellent in my hour of need, when I fell ill and had to be rushed to hospital on the last day of our stay, they helped us to find a doctor, and went above and beyond the call of duty to help and support my husband and three children and rearrange our rotterdam to hull overnight ferry (free of charge) and other accommodation. A big thank you to eurocamp and the couriers for all your help and support from myself and my husband. .
Peter from Staffordshire (31 August 2014)

Nice site, at time of visit it was very busy in france.
Simon from Leigh (31 August 2014)

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. the tent was comfortable and contained everything that we needed. the two couriers, rob and debbie, were fantastic. they were extremely friendly from the moment we arrived and continued to be approachable and knowledgeable throughout our 2 week stay.
Lucy from Littlehampton (30 August 2014)

Basic, simple site. No entertainment at all. Thank goodness europa park is close by. It gave the kids & us a great day out.
Nick from Leeds (30 August 2014)

Unfortunately a lot of rain when we went but nice park.
Sarah from Cambridge (29 August 2014)

Couriers excellent. Friendly, efficient and always willing to provide constructive and effective assistance. They were first class. The parcs was clean and handsome. The accommodation was comfortable. Did not care for the people who ran the actual site or the man in charge of the eating facilities. He was abrupt but the food was good
Peter (26 August 2014)

Beautiful site and welcoming
Wende from Oxfordshire (26 August 2014)

We had a fantastic holiday thanks partly to good weather, and to beautiful countryside. We used the parc as a springboard to explore the area.
Caroline from Ipswich (23 August 2014)

A good holiday on a pleasant site
Customer 80 from Sheffield (22 August 2014)

A lovely quiet site, but unfortunately it was being used by most visitors as an en-route overnight stopping place and therefore it lacked any community or holiday feel to it.
Caroline from Leicester (20 August 2014)

We spent a week in the area and would definitely come back. The site is quiet, spacious, clean and well maintained with good views from terraced pitches. The accommodation was spotless and the couriers were excellent, friendly and helpful. The site is family run and the owner and staff were very friendly. The bar/restaurant terrace was a lovely place to eat and relax and although the menu was small, the food was good and inexpensive. If based at the the top of the site you would need to come down to this area to access the internet. Whilst the site dose not have a pool, the adjoining municipal facility is far better than most site pools and closer than you might find on a larger site. The area is great for cycling with a good network of dedicated cycle tracks and quiet roads. There are some good routes into the hills as well for the more ambitious. Freiburg and baden-baden can be easily reached by train from herbolzheim and are well worth visiting. A tagescarte gives unlimited travel on trains and buses for a day in the freiburg for up to 5 people €21, whilst the similar baden-wurtenburg carte cost just €31 for three adults to visit the more distant baden-baden. We found the local inhabitants to be extremely helpful and friendly and were eager to speak english.
Ja from Nottingham (18 August 2014)

Quiet site with lovely restaurant and outstanding pool complex next door.
Nicola from Worcester (17 August 2014)

We had a great time at herbolzheim site ! would definitely go back to the black forest area and maybe even this site if passing through that area again. There is a lot to see and do in this area.
Andre from Wiltshire (16 August 2014)

We really enjoyed the location and the eurocamp couriers were fantastic. It was great to see mature reps who always in our experience seem conscientious. Although we knew the parc was small it really turned out to be too small and we had a bad experience in the on site restaurant.
Catherine from Colchester (15 August 2014)

Caravan was very old and te gas fire was not working properly making us wary of using it :(
Grant from U.K. (15 August 2014)

Very small, peaceful but wonderful site in a beautiful area of germany. site very well kept as was the stunning pool complex next door. Plenty to see and do, lots of fabulous off road cycle paths. Couriers so very helpful and friendly. Would definitely return here.
Frances from Billericay (15 August 2014)

Very quiet and small park not what we are used to as a family
Karen from London (14 August 2014)

Parc in a lovely peaceful setting, clean and well cared for. The couriers were very friendly, helpful but not intrusive. although the supermarket was nearby, we would have appreciated the facility to buy a few more basic provisions on site. not much for children to do on the parc, but easy access for sightseeing and especially to europa park. would happily return to the beautiful black forest and to this parc.
Customer 89 from Gloucs (13 August 2014)

Ok for overnight stay
David from Worksop (12 August 2014)

Nice quiet parc, lovely town. More information about local walks and attractions would be good - though exploration can be fun. Surprised there was no weather forecast posted daily and the wi-fi was useless!
Customer 91 (10 August 2014)

Lovely quiet site with great views from accommodation over surrounding countryside. on site restaurant friendly and good value. Great base for exploring the black forest. Adjacent municipal swimming pool complex is fantastic.
Nick from Southampton (10 August 2014)

The camp is very small compared to the mediterranean sites we had been on previously, and is very calm and relaxed. The swimming pool is not part of the camp, and note that a family ticket is 7 euros per day. There is a good supermarket very close to the camp, and the small town of herbolzheim is within a few minutes walking distance. The greek restaurant there is brilliant. Europapark is only about 15 minutes away and is fantastic - better than eurodisney in my daughter's opinion (she's been to both this year). the weather can be changeable, with violent storms fairly common, so this is probably not the place if you want guaranteed sunshine.
Alan from Newcastle Upon Tyne (06 August 2014)

Short stop in way home , very good would. Return for longer
David from Cheltenham (30 July 2014)

Really enjoyed the scenary at the park. Robin and debbie were very friendly and helpful to us. The swimming pool locally was used, and I was surprised that the pool was not part of the complex. I felt that the marketing indicated this, but this was perhaps an error on my part. Otherwise there was plenty to do around the area, and we would certainly recommend for any family and friends to stay there.
Stephen from Waterlooville (30 July 2014)

Brilliant location and caravan. View lovely great cycling. Lots to see. Clean and friendly people
Ian from Cambridgeshire (29 July 2014)

Nice park, only there for one night, liked it, but would not been enough to do for a full holiday. The biggest negative is that the park is closed between the hours of 1300 and 1500, this should on the information in the brochure.
Suzanne from Doncaster (28 July 2014)

Peacefull park with superb swimming pool next door and ideally located for europa park which is a 20 minute drive away and a visit to freiburg approx 1 hours drive away.great food store 5 mins away also.
David from London (27 July 2014)

Despite challenging weather holiday was good
Ann from Hinckley (19 July 2014)

Could not fault bella italia would go back tomorrow if possible herbolzheim no accommodation nice but not disable friendly van too far from gate and at top of a steep hill
Derek from Keith (16 July 2014)

Lovely park, with very friendly staff and couriers.
Stephen from Peterborough (13 July 2014)

This campsite is a good base for a touring type holiday. There are so many interesting places to visit in the surrounding area. If, however I had had to rely on the campsite for all of my holiday entertainment, it would have been a big let down.
Karen from Edinburgh (11 July 2014)

The camp was friendly, clean and all the people on site were happy to help.
Martin from Sliema (10 July 2014)

Average
Confirmed Holidaymaker (29 June 2014)

This was our first stop on our "5 nations" tour of europe including germany, switzerland, italy, austria and holland.
Julia from Blackburn (28 September 2013)

Excellent parc and friendly couriers. Interesting countryside. Would have liked some lore local information
David from Pontefract (22 September 2013)

The weather was poor and the pool next door was closed. Not impressed by parc in spite of lovely views.
Mary from Blackburn (22 September 2013)

Very nice and quiet. unfortunately not great weather. great base for exploring, though immediate town rather small and not very touristic. would visit agian for a couple of days as part of a multi center holiday. accommadation not very homely, when compared to british models. this probably wouldn't have mattered as much if the weather had have been better.
Darren from Ware (20 September 2013)

Stayed here for two nights on way home from bavaria where our car had been crashed. But for that incident it was a super holiday.
Roger from Southwell (19 September 2013)

A nice site, a drive away from the black forrest.
Susan from Bingley (16 September 2013)

Our first visit to this site. . a good location from which to visit the black forest area and close to switzerland if travelling south. . very pretty area and well supplied with supermarkets that offered very good value for money. .
Richard from Tunbridge Wells (15 September 2013)

The park was ideal for us, very quiet. Accomodation clean and plenty of space. However the blankets for the beds could have done with being washed, some had stains on. The park couriers were very welcoming and friendly. Herbolzheim is well situated for exploring the black forrest. Would go back again. There is a small bar/ resturant but has only a limited menu, but very friendly staff.
Gary from Wickford (13 September 2013)

Great
David from Swansea (13 September 2013)

Wonderful holiday
Gillian from Stowmarket (11 September 2013)

Conveniently placed to explore a lovely area. we had amazing weather too, though the midnight thunderstorms at the end were not so great. accommodation was excellent and just what we wanted. site is fairly small and has no shop, though there is a supermarket at the end of the road. we found the site a bit hard to find after a long and tiring day - something saying 'campingplatz herbolzheim' in big letters would have helped!
Helen from Lampeter (09 September 2013)

This is the second time we have stayed at herbolzeim, the site is in a nice area and there are plenty of things to see and do around about. We used this site as a stop off point for five nights whilst travelling through europe and now we are thinking of probably spending more time there on a future holiday.
Customer 116 (06 September 2013)

Very peaceful great location excellent for touring the black forest
Terry from Lincolnshire (06 September 2013)

Very clean, quiet campsite with amazing views, certainly from the higher caravans.
Elisabeth from Windsor (31 August 2013)

Above does not represent our austrian experience, but we found this park very pleasant, and well situated for us - easy access to lots of good walking.
Robert from Stockport (30 August 2013)

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, even though the weather was a little unsettled which restricted our activities a little.
Paul from Kent (27 August 2013)

Excellent. For me this was an experiment, as I was camping on my own, due to my wife being defeated by cancer last september. I am very familiar with eurocamp, as my wife and I have holidayed with eurocamp, at least twenty four occasions over the decades!
William from Ottershaw (23 August 2013)

Where to begin! firstly the accommodation is horribly small and totally inappropriate for 6 people. the worst was the main bedroom and the toilet - you could almost rest your chin on the door handle whilst sitting on the toilet and the bedroom just about had room for the bed. there was nowhere to dress only the bathroom which was damp all the time from 6 people showering regularly. the decking was pleasant enough but there was no privacy as pitches were close with nothing to separate them. on a more positive note herbolzheim was lovely with some nice shops. the weather was gorgeous and we enjoyed our holiday despite the above. would I recommend or go back? no.
Victoria from Cardiff (22 August 2013)

Small, quiet scenic park adjacent to pool complex
Lynda from Derbyshire (20 August 2013)

Very quiet parc with pleasant views from the higher placed caravans.
Neil (17 August 2013)

Short 2 night stop over but had a lovely time at this excellent parc
Steven from Hornchurch (16 August 2013)

Excellent family park.
John from Bedford (15 August 2013)

Normally you have 4 stars campings, this not. Swimming pool few heated + exterior, very small playground, badly located play field
F. (12 August 2013)

Very quiet site- no shop, nil happens. Very beautiful views. Weather awful- black forest is green for a reason. ( the rain)
Ruth from Newcastle (10 August 2013)

The camp was lovely and pool complex great. the location did not suit us however and we felt the couriers were poor.
Sarah from Bridgend (10 August 2013)

A pleasant quiet site. Great area, unfortunately terrible weather when we were there
Confirmed Holidaymaker (30 Jul 2013)

The holiday itself was fine however the holiday parc was a bit too quiet for the family. I think this pact is an ideal stopover if travelling further on into europe or returning to uk.would also be better suited to couples wanting a quiet restful break.
Anthony from Manchester (28 Jul 2013)

Site was good but difficult to find as difficult to read exact instructions when riding a motor cycle and the camp site does not have any signs at the gate and no eurocamp sign anywhere on the paperwork it stated that the swimming pool was on site when actually it was off site and there was a charge for this this needs to be stated on the paperwork
Lj from Kirton Lindsey (27 Jul 2013)

It is difficult to provide an accurate review as the site only provided us with a stop over to and from our main stay at lake garda, but what we saw and experienced was good.
Michael from Cambridge (27 Jul 2013)

Very clean and quiet parc, compact and well serviced.
Nick from Aberdeen (17 Jul 2013)

We had a lovely time and enjoyed 10days of hot sunshine
Ian from Swindon (13 Jul 2013)

We enjoyed our stay in herbolzheim. We visited some lovely places in the area.
Trish from Perth (13 Jul 2013)

Short stop over when driving to italy and beyond. This also has a great town.nearby.
Colin from London (11 Jul 2013)

The site is beautiful however due to inclement weather we found the need to drive a lot as not much life in the area. But would love to return.
John from Rochester (30 Jun 2013)

Stopped only two nights and didn't realise park and area had so much to offer.
Paul from South Shields (29 Jun 2013)

Holiday was good but ruined by the fact that we paid for a top of the range caravan and it was filthy.
Linda from Whitehaven (29 Jun 2013)

Great site, what a find. bernie the courier superb!. classic van, very good condition, 12 years old, but you would never know. Very clean. It put newer vans to shame!. on site restaurant, very good and very friendly. 3 course regional meal with drinks before meal & wine 38 euros. Local people very helpful and friendly. The nearby supermarket, edeka, had everything you could want and very competively priced. Lots to do in the area, spectacular scenery and lots of good museums close by to visit. More than just an over night stop over site. Only minus point is no pool on site. Lido is next door but if you had small children you would be forever going between your pitch and the pool and this could add significantly to your cost.
Adrian from Ipswich (28 Jun 2013)

We have visited this site many times and is so beautiful and well run, stefan the owner very helpful assisted my husband as he finds it difficult to walk very far.
Eleanor from Hinckley Leics (25 Jun 2013)

Lovely places to visit site excellent
David from Carlisle (25 Jun 2013)

A very pretty sight would like to have stayed longer. A bit hard to find.
Frank from Lancaster (24 Jun 2013)

Great location, friendly rep, nice accommodation.
Stephen from Ashford (23 Jun 2013)

Courier unhelpful and unwelcoming. Accommodation a little small but was what we had paid for. Park was clean but not a lot close by for exploring. Only there for a few days which was good considering we didn't feel too much for us there.
Eloise from Carlisle (23 Jun 2013)

Courier was very helpful and welcoming. Parc accommodation was clean and spacious.
Mark from Devizes (19 Jun 2013)

Herbolzheim is not quite in the black forest so those only staying overnight will see only the rhine farming plain. and the town is not really a tourist draw, a fact the holiday pack makes clear. but the local eshle supermarket is very good and the attached pool complex is superb. camp facilities are immaculate and the wildlife remarkable. the camp restaurant is well run and their beers very good. the slope up the site is deceptively steep so this may not suit everyone. we stayed 8 days and covered most of the black forest.
Richard from Exeter (15 Jun 2013)

Was good to comeback to this site after 10 years, though documentation received didn't state gate closed 1-3pm.
