My kids were bored to tears because all the facilities were closed. something that did not stand out when I booked. also we were all covered in miserable mosquitoes bites. we got bit less when we removed your supplied blankets. the restaurant had a terrible service, charging you the wrong price for drinks and food which I challenged every night. the bar staff and restaurant staff serve the locals far quicker then english one time stopping my order to start serving a regular! there was a regular influx of massive trips of people coming in. the whole games area would be removed to create more dinning for these massive groups. we felt in the way! so we left. i'm not sure they like having english to stay tbh. good points micheal the rep was excellent and could not do enough abi was good too. andrea (man) in the bar was really lovely and went out of his way to help us.
Sharon from Corsham (01 November 2015)

We went out of season so although the weather was in the early 20s the pool was closed. I believe it was the last week of the campsites season and you couldn't even buy bread or fresh milk from the shop. Eurocamp need to make it very clear verbally when booking that there are limited facilities at this time of year and reduce the price of the holiday accordingly. Items that should have been in the caravan were probably cleared away but we did obtain them upon asking.also eurocamp need to enclose details of how to travel via bus and metro into rome.
Ian from Plymouth (31 October 2015)

Only reason not completely 10/10 was we went for the last week in the season so the pools were closed and the camp shop had little stock. Rome itself is fantastic and the travel there takes about 40mins by bus/metro and is very easy
Lynn from Stoke On Trent (31 October 2015)

Great week and really convenient for rome and ostia
Derrick from Bath (31 October 2015)

Saw the reps once but in fairness didn't need to see them for anything. Bus and metro to and from town were exhausting. Appreciate we were near the end of the season but shop had cans of tomatoes, soft cheese and little else in it..
Judith from York (30 October 2015)

Wasn't clear at booking how much of the park would be closed. Nothing on the park to do, restaurant ok but not great. Shop very low stock difficult when did not have a car as local shops not that easy to get to. Public transport okay but this park should be more explicit about the need for own transport- adverts suggest car free is easy, it was not easy! i'm sure the park is lovely in full season but was very disappointing out of season. Accommodation ok but not very clean. No bedding on the campsite when checked if we could hire before travelling and were told we could arrange on arrival. On arrival told there was no bedding to hire! overall not a nice/good holiday, glad to get home.
Lisa (30 October 2015)

Based on october 2015. all of the facilities of the park were closed.
Customer 7 from Dalston (30 October 2015)

A nice site with acceptable accommodation. Showers had seen better days and because we went in half term, the pools were closed, which had not been stated before we got there. Getting in to rome was not as easy as made out. The buses were unpredictable and you then have to get the metro when you get off the bus to go anywhere you want to see. Restaurant on site was excellent and was all of the staff we encountered.
Nicholas from Leicester (26 October 2015)

Bar staff in part could have been more helpful and the girl serving in the shop is on her phone permanently even when serving tourist information closed as well as other facilities
Donna from Edinburgh (26 October 2015)

We went to a park which advertised lots of facilities. There were none open. When I called eurocamp a very rude lady told me I should have checked to see if anything was open on the site!
Maureen from Windsor (23 October 2015)

A really great holiday,it was pour first eurocamp holiday and we weren't sure what to expect and we were so delighted. it was great for our one and three year old, the pool was ideal for both, the food on site was decently priced and good, the shop had most things we needed and there was a supermarket a ten minute walk away (don't take prams, there's no footpath!) it's really easy to get to rome, half an hour or so and just a bus and metro ride away, we went in twice in the six days we were there. The couriers were really helpful and friendly and always available. We're already looking to book our next eurocamp holiday, it was just brilliant!
Nicki from Armagh, Northern Ireland (19 September 2015)

We had a great time everything went well . weather was on our side as well so no complaints ,
Stuart from Luton (19 September 2015)

Very good holiday. Accomodation- no grill pan in cooker. We had to fry every thing. Reported this to reps. But was advised they are hard to come by.
Noel from Norwich (14 September 2015)

We'd just had a week at norcenni and there is a gulf in quality.
Stephen from Doncaster (13 September 2015)

Fantastic holiday, have already recommended this to friends and family.
Customer 15 from Glasgow (13 September 2015)

Didn't have a lot to do with couriers as we like to do our own thing.
Christina (11 September 2015)

Great location for seeing rome. We actually drove and parked for free at a metro station very close to the camp and then got the metro (which is v cheap) rather than queue for the bus. We really enjoyed the pool complex. Although compact, you could always get a bed. Good atmosphere. Good restaurant (although sometimes need to wait for pizza a while). great icecream cafe. The beach is also near by. We were advised not to take our gb car though because os break ins. This is mostly private beach clubs, but they weren't very expensive and had nice facilities. The beach is dark sand like tenerife. There are beaches in national parks within driving distance too. The camp shop was quite limited and no bakery really. The supermarket is not too far although always handier with a car rather than walking - esp as there is no pavement.
Customer 17 from York (05 September 2015)

I had a horrible experience. There were flies in snack bars next to the pool and next to the restaurant, my nephew got food poisoning after eating a hamburger with salad. There was ants in my mobile home, which the couriers told me to resolve myself initially and only resolved this themselves on my second to last day when I made a complaint. The staff at the camp (apart from kids club and animation staff) were rude and fed up looking and spoke in italian to their colleagues about you when they served you. It was just horrible, I was so disappointed as a single mother travelling alone with three children, I wanted to give the children a holiday during the last week of the summer holidays before their return to school when the prices had dropped and I throughly regret spending all the money.
Michelle from London (05 September 2015)

Fantastic location with easy access to public transport to take you into rome, also very cheap 1.50 euros for 100 minutes which gets you into anywhere in the city or coast. Our two boys aged 8 and 11 loved the swimming pools which kept them entertained for hours and they met lots of friends from different countries whilst having fun. The ice cream was amazing and only cost 2 euros for a large cone and 3 flavours and the pizzas were popular with the kids too. We all had a fabulous holiday and would recommend this site.
Chris from Warwickshire (04 September 2015)

Overall really enjoyed the holiday. The accommodation was slightly basic for the cost. Felt the extra payment for sheets and towels was expensive ( sheets should have been included in the price at least) the parc had good facilities. Very clean and well kept
Francesca from Middlesbrough (01 September 2015)

Good parc ; parc staff very helpful;
Fiona from Cardiff (31 August 2015)

Lovely site with great pools. Easy access to rome. lovely holiday
Jacqueline from Sheffield (31 August 2015)

This was our first stay at a eurocamp park and our first holiday abroad with two small children. The camp we chose was perfect for our family. The accommodation was spacious and the kids loved playing and eating outside on the decking before being thankful for the air conditioning inside - italy does get very hot in august. The pools were ideal for cooling off in and kept the kids occupied all day. We visited rome on one day which involved an easy bus and train ride - we were inside the colloseum within an hour.
Emma from Waterlooville (31 August 2015)

Village fabulous is a large full on fun campsite which I think suits some, but not all and not us. it only suited us because of proximity and ease of getting into rome. the bus/train combi into the centre of the city was very easy indeed. we only stayed 2 nights, but we managed to try the restaurant (bad experience), the pools (kids heaven), gelateria (everyone's heaven). for us after 2 weeks in a site in beautiful peaceful umbria it was just too big and busy.
Gill (30 August 2015)

Lovely parc, perfect for everyone in the party.
Carol from Newcastle (30 August 2015)

A really enjoyable stay, accomodation bedrooms were smaller than we expected but we coped.accomodation was clean but in need of a little tlc.pools were excellent , restaurant was good. Would have been nice to have been told about things nearby by courier, such as large supermarket 10 mins walk away. Staff at info point were ploite bt perhaps could have provided a bit more info on the public transport etc
Paul from Haverhill (30 August 2015)

A lovely campsite, staff at eurocamp very helpful.
Lisa from Hertfordshire (29 August 2015)

Excellent location and transport links into rome also excellent. reps were lovely and approachable. I would recommend and return to this park. shop could be better stocked and open longer hours.
Glyn (29 August 2015)

Well situated parc, shaded by lovely trees. Seaside nearby as well as rome. Kids loved pools. Would recommend.
Johanna from Leeds (28 August 2015)

We had a great holiday - the location of the parc was great with loads of public transport. the only negative was that we asked for some oven gloves because we didn't think to take them and the staff said they would provide - but then later said they couldn't. then they said the would supply a tea towel as alternative but then they said they didn't have any. There was no grill pan wire insert to make toast - we were promised a toaster which again the staff couldn't provide. we were told that many items has previously been stolen and eurocamp weren't replacing. we are honest people so we think it's a bit tough that eurocamp can't police their property effectively and as a result we have to go without safety items.
Keith from Sheffield (26 August 2015)

Parc is excellent for visiting rome. Locally there is nothing outside the park worth visiting within walking distance. Parc is clean and well run. Pools are good but crowded. No televised sports or international news coverage. Supermarket provides basics. Restaurant good value and choices but waiting to be served can take up to an hour.
David (26 August 2015)

Parc well kept and friendly staff. Let down badly by the large number of local day guest allowed onto the site everyday - very overcrowded too many people for the size of facilities. . the local area has nothing to recommend it - eurocamp advised people not to drive their cars to the beach due to break ins, the road to the free beach was lined with prostitutes on the roadside (during the day). it is very well connected to rome and easy/cheap to to get in. Eurocamp accommodation hit and miss. Some nice new units but also some units that are so tired and shabby they should have been replaced a few years ago. Bit rubbish of eurocamp to expect people to pay good money to stay in such shabby dated units.
Customer 32 from Oxon (26 August 2015)

Great park for accessing rome but also to relax on-site. Shop ok - not very authentic italian food, would have liked more fresh local produce e.g olives, local cheeses etc. Restaurants/bars lovely and good value. Eurocamp couriers friendly but a little lacking in local knowledge e.g they told us what bus to get but didn't tell us we should get a ticket from the info office on-site which resulted in a nail-biting journey into ostia with no ticket! also, our villa had several items missing e.g kettle, hairdrier, bbq tongs, chopping board which we had to request - not what you need on your arrival. Also, toilets smelt of old urine - just needed a good scrub and bleach which I ended up doing to get rid of the smell..not much fun really on your holiday. Overall though, super holiday. Would suggest there should be a rule about not being allowed to save sun-loungers if you leave the pool area - we struggled to get some easily as people left their stuff there all day, even when they'd gone for a few hours.
Cath (24 August 2015)

A large sprawling campsite, very long way to walk from restaurant , bar etc to mobile homes. Lovely large lagoon style pool, great for the kids. One restaurant and takeaway, we found the takeaway choice a bit limited especially for kids, not much other than burgers and pizza. You need to be aware that there is nowhere to walk from this site, you need to catch a bus/ have a car to go anywhere. We went into rome one day but apart from that we were stuck on the site the whole week.
Sue from Horsham (24 August 2015)

Great site with good facilities. Close to rome and also good local supermarket.
Jayne from Holmfirth (23 August 2015)

Nice facilities but parc far too overcrowded and accomodation from the 1970s. Cot and high chair weren't there on arrival, ipod dock came a day later and hair dryer never arrived.
Paul from Birmingham (22 August 2015)

The rome camp was very busy and noisy. Stuff went missing and one night a party went on all night. On the other hand when we. Asked to move sites hannah from eurocamp was excellent
Tom (22 August 2015)

Fantastic facilities and very good transport links. Staff very friendly. Overall holiday was wonderful. With 4 teenage boys, they were not bored once
Linda from Dudley (21 August 2015)

We had a great holiday, weather was hot and lovely, there were other children to play with. The pools were good but the big pool not as big as advertised and you couldn't take rubber rings in which we could in altomincio where we previously went, and the water slides not as exciting, though we love that bouncy surface. The water aerobics were fun. Very cheap and easy to get into rome. The restaurant was lovely, with views of the sunset, but best puddings and cocktails were in the gelateria. The closest supermarket is really good. If there was a gate at the end of the campsite it would be much easier to walk to the supermarket. There is nowhere to go walking from the campsite.
Helen from Bournemouth (18 August 2015)

Although adequate, the mobile home was tired and dated. The shower especially. Layout odd and the vans were arranged in such a way that the 'neighbours' popped over to tell me they had all watched me having a shower!
Customer 40 from Devon (17 August 2015)

Nice park with good restaurant and pool. mattress in bed very hard wouldn't have liked to spent more than 8 nights on.
Michael from York (12 August 2015)

The park itself was ok, with good and bad points. positives being two nice swimming pools, a nice restaurant, and a nice ice cream parlour. the negatives are that the children entertainment was appealing to the point where the children did not want to go (it was focused solely on the large contingent of italian and dutch customers) and this was such a shame as the children enjoying that type of club. the childrens evening entertainment was in fact worse and to add insult to injury only started at 9:00pm which we thought was late for the smaller children in particular. the park itself was clean and tidy, and it was easy to get into rome. likewise the caravan we rented through eurocamp was clean and tidy - but was very expensive and overall not good value for money.
Giles from Berkshire (08 August 2015)

Great time had by all the family
Kerry from Leeds (07 August 2015)

Had a great time. Parc was lovely and lagoon pool was just what we needed in the heat. Would recommend.
Sarah from Aberdeen (06 August 2015)

Overall we had a good holiday and the pool area on the parc was excellent. The accommodation was ok but could have been a bit cleaner. One of the bathroom sinks was blocked which I sorted myself so it wasn't that much of a problem. I really think you need a car with this holiday as although you can manage without it limits you on food shopping options and time taken travelling. Overall though we had a great time but make sure you get accommodation with air-conditioning its a necessity in italy during the summer.
Howard from Hull (30 July 2015)

The pool facilities were excellent. The food outlets were terrible, such poor options, more variety and better quality would be good. The eurocamp staff during check in were not that great. We asked to check in early as we had come on a 30hr journey from australia with a 1 and 3 year old and they said they would try and we kept touching base with them and they said they would see rather than just being honest and saying no or if we can it would only be 30mins early as we ended up waiting around for 5 hours which was frustrating.
Matthew (28 July 2015)

Park was clean, food was good. shops and info centre useful but closed a lot during the day. wi-fi chargeable and only available in public areas. shallow pool ideal for young children. accommodation could have been cleaner, but otherwise was fine - good outdoor area to sit out and enjoy the bbq that was included.
Susan (28 July 2015)

This is a very busy site - fine if you want to be surrounded by loud, noisy and rude italians who make up most of the other guests! nowhere to walk to from the site, as it's located on a woodland but not near any nice villages or towns. Only 2 pools which are over-crowded and there are not nearly enough sun-shades for all the guests to use.
Carrie (28 July 2015)

Our first experience with eurocamp, very pleased with camp overall, more activities for kids from the camp team would be nice and ensure if a child signs up for something (football) that he gets to play. My son was very upset to sign up for football and then be the only child not to be put in a team and play, he was left on sidelines whilst other kids who did not sign up turned up and played.
Katharine (21 July 2015)

A nice parc, relaxing and laid back.
Mark from London (20 July 2015)

Great park a welcome break in the evening from rome, very tidy and clean park with great facilities its a must.
Damien from Omagh (20 July 2015)

Loved the location and the facilities.
Confirmed Holidaymaker (18 July 2015)

Great location for sightseeing in rome. Good facilities on park. Good supermarket very close by. If taking car into rome park in secure underground parking not on street - ours broken into!
Kate (17 July 2015)

First time we've been to italy, we've done france for the last 15 years. We all loved the campsite it was well kept and the staff were very friendly are helpful.
Andrew from Cheshire (17 July 2015)

A great park with very easy access to rome. Public transport is good from here taking away the stress of city centre driving. Top tip for rome is always carry a water bottle and fill up for free from the many water fountains. The site is ideal for sight-seeing and is great for younger children. Few activities here for late teenagers which was our only disappointment. The site couriers and on site info staff were fantastic. Book here you will not be disappointed.
Ian from Northwich (11 July 2015)

We had a fantastic time. Getting to and from the airport was easy in a taxi, so no need to hire a car. It was easy to travel into rome, but just very hot in july. The camp had super facilities and was really geared towards children having the time of their lives. The lagoon pool was so safe and my daughter just played in it all day. We thoroughly recommend camp fabulous.
Patricia from Tramore (10 July 2015)

Fabulous parc! easy travel in and out of rome!
Joanne from Durham (05 July 2015)

Park was ideal for younger families due to large lagoon pool. Plenty of sun loungers.
Kenny from Glagow (02 July 2015)

Amazing holiday great place for all the family !!
Derek (01 July 2015)

It don't get better than rome! this parc is a great base to see rome from and do some chilling out after hot days sight seeing. We were there 27th june to 4th july. The transport links from camping fabulous to rome are good taking around an hour in total (feels less). tickets are e1.50 pp each way from the entrance office and can be used on bus and metro for up to 100 mins from first use. the pool areas are good with plenty of chairbeds (not enough umbarellas though and it was hot!). the site restaurant was good and does takeaway and the shop is well stocked and not too pricey. we particularly loved the tall tree canopy across the site which gives excellent shade to the accommodation areas from the searing sun. also the pathways throughout the site are excellent. if you fancy a run it's a great lap round the perimeter! we had 2 teenage daughters so spent every day apart from last visiting rome's sites - mind blowing city but be prepared for people trying to rip you off - keep to official tours at colosseum (e5 pp and not e23 pp as several tried to sell us en-route). same at vatican - official looking touts told us our pre-booked vatican museum tickets meant we would have to re-queue to get into st. Peters basilica and would take 3 hours and they could get us tickets to jump the queue at e20 each - ignore them!!! it's free to go from sistine chapel straight into basilica. We stayed in eurocamps top vista plus accom - lovely, if only the heating worked!!! we ended up showering at the shower block which was a dissappointment as we'd paid for a bit of luxury but they did try to fix it '4 times!!!'. we would highly recommend this site and in particular rome
Richard from Abington (28 June 2015)

Lovely park, fantastic access to rome, magical restaurant on site
Claire from Poole (20 June 2015)

Onsite facilities good. Weather good. Park clean. No need to hire a car. Rome easy and cheap to get to and take an organised trip from the site.
John from Wallsend (11 June 2015)

Had a fantastic holiday at camp fabulous so peaceful and relaxed the only disappointing part was the onsite restaurant we sat down and then 3 other family's came in after and were served before us there were only 2 servers and about 5 waiters to bring the food out very slow service food was cold and the tuscan pork was just pure fat and my pasta felt like a microwave dish the tables we were seated felt like school folding tables wth no table cloths but apart from this for a relaxing break was amazing recommend the rome by night excursion it is amazing well worth it as to hot in the day didn't want to come home another amazing eurocamp holiday.
Kirsty from Stockport (07 June 2015)

This was our 3rd time staying with eurocamp, this was a good clean site with very friendly staff that were always happy to help. It is a fabulous spot just outside rome with easy transport into rome or the beach (1.50 euro per adult return, children under 10 free). it was very busy in rome (end of may into june) but purchasing skip the line tickets for the attractions helped enormously with us having 4 children. The children loved the time elevator cinema attraction, it was fun and a great way of learning the history of rome. . for us as a family of 6 it was a brilliant way to see an historic city on a budget.
David from Herefordshire (04 June 2015)

We had a fantastic time on this parc. the parc staff couldn't have been nicer. It suited my family perfectly. My boys and husband loved the daily football tournament and the boys loved the evening entertainment. The restaurant and gelataria were great. The public transport to rome and ostia antica was very convenient and relatively cheap. All made for a very relaxing holiday.
Mair (04 June 2015)

We picked this park because of the good reviews and the close proximity to rome. However, I would not recommend this park for families. Our first night in a caravan was fine. It was after we moved to our safari tent that our problems started. . if you are thinking of staying here you should note that they accommodate quite a lot of school and sports groups. This means a large amount of teenagers making a nuisance of themselves, monopolising the facilities and having no respect or courtesy for other guest. We had to call security on on our second night because of this. Now, we have children so believe me we are used to loud noises, but 40 teenagers chanting, shouting, clapping and running around our tent at 11.45pm isn't a laughing matter. . once security had dealt with the issue (after a lot of shouting on his part!) there was the typical shushing very loudly to prove a point and running back and forth round our tent. . the next day we requested a move and were relocated (for a price) back into a caravan which made our stay bearable. . my other comment would be that the entertainment at night is so unnecessarily loud, that you can hear it anywhere in the park and it runs till midnight ish. . . the plus points for this park are that it is close to rome and for a €7 ticket, you get free access to all public transport and the eurocamp staff were very good. They dealt with us politely and professionally when we weren't at our best and we appreciate that very much.
Emma (02 June 2015)

A fun filled camp with easy access to rome. Staff at the park were very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The entertainment team really were fabulous. We had an excellent family holiday.
Marianne from Hampshire (01 June 2015)

Ideal location for siteseeing rome and surrounding area; with really convenient public transport.
Susan from Suffolk (31 May 2015)

Really great park - fantastic location, and great facilities. rome is lovely and easily accesible. everythig open for may 2015 half term. kids happy with pool, entertainment, new eurocamp friends and gelateria. adults happy with the park, particularly the pool and it's lifeguards which was a very safe set up. Kids could use inflatables in the lagoon which pleased them immensely! the only let down was our eurocamp accomodation which suffered troubles with the loo (a cleaning issue rather than plumbing issue). reps unable to help.
Customer 69 from Hampshire (31 May 2015)

Holiday was very good but the only issue was that the caravan was not very clean
Sharon (31 May 2015)

Lovely site, the safari tents were a little disappointing and would not book again, prefer mobile homes but that is personal choice.
Gillian from Chester (30 May 2015)

Our 2nd time staying at camping village fabulous and we can't wait for the 3rd! the only small problem we have here is the children's entertainment starts quite late and is only for just over an hour. By the time it started our youngest was already in bed! a great base for exploring rome with friendly staff. Highly recommended.
Aimie from Merthyr Tydfil (29 May 2015)

Great base for exploring rome
Martin from Southend On Sea (27 May 2015)

Our time in rome was great and the park was certainly convenient for getting into the centre and our safari tent was brilliant, with a lovely view but many aspects of the parc itself let this part of our holiday down.
Richard (20 May 2015)

Likely to be greatly overcrowded in high season. some shops not open. Rome at night tour greatly overpriced and very poor guide - a complete waste of money
Richard from Sherborne (19 May 2015)

A large park, but well laid out and very clean. Excellent pool, lovely pine forest setting. Easy access to rome via 100 minute pass for €1.50 bus/metro to termini. Recommend you buy omnia 3 day rome pass to cut costs : we loved the open top bus rides that came inclusive. Weather very settled and warm - typical for time of year we were told.
Jan from Penperlleni (26 October 2014)

A lovely site in a great location .. a few problems with being bitten by mossies this year but a few sprays of jungle spray soon sorted them out ! great transport links either into rome or out to the coast. we will return again :-)
Wendy from Chesterfield (22 October 2014)

The local staff at the parc were helpful and friendly, however we didnt once see any member of the eurocamp team other than at 3pm on the handover day. The facillities at the parc were dire, and had we not had the use of a car we would have been in a mess...... the onsite supermarket!!!!!!!!! was half empty of stock and the stock that was available was mega expensive. the resturant was running on a very limited range of food no pizza we were initaly for goodness sake. The ice cream shop closed, the souvenior shops closed I could go on but why ?????. we have had many many fab key/eurocamp hols all over europe including italy but this was the worst ever break. I'll use keycamp again but never to this camp
Dawn from Leicester (12 October 2014)

Excellent holiday, good weather & rome and surrounding area was way above our expectation. We'll almost certainly go back to rome for more visits. Camp site was reasonable and access to rome by public transport was ok but took about an hour each way with indeterminate waits for buses - would be a nightmare at busier times of year.
Mike from Newcastle (12 October 2014)

Campsite tired looking. middle of campsite looked like a refugee camp with lots of very old caravans with awnings and sheds/huts attached which I presume were for 'locals' who came every weekend. looked very shabby and intimidating. Large parties (200-300) of german school children of all ages staying, very noisy at night, running and screaming round the campsite, took over the pool in the afternoons, completely ruining it for the 'normal' holidaymaker. teachers were to be found in the bar. I wouldn't stay at this campsite again and would caution other people as to what to expect if they asked my opinion. Not the best holiday I have had with keycamp/eurocamp which was disappointing since it was our 25th wedding anniversary!
Jane from Spilsby (10 October 2014)

Great park for families . we were looking for slightly quieter time which did not happen due to 1000 school kids at a christian mission week based in park. Great base for visiting rome and coastal area. Most helpful courier, oliver, of any eurocamp we have been to.
Nicholas from Glasgow (04 October 2014)

Good site, second visit. Do not believe in the bus timetable to rome, this is italy. Just go to the bus stop for 8.00 and wait. That way you can expect to start your walks/bus tour of rome by 9.30 to 10.00.
John from St Genis Des Fontaines (29 September 2014)

Camp fabulous is just that, fabulous. Public bus links to rome and ostia (roman deserted village on a par with pompeii without the ash). very friendly with good facilities ie swimming pool, bar, mini market and restaurant.
Toni from Burnley (27 September 2014)

Complaint already logged with eurocamp. Very disappointing
Libby from High Wycombe (26 September 2014)

Jenny the rep was very helpful and gave us loads of information about places to go in rome, just what we needed, she solved all queries that were made which made our stay very stress less thanx
Kelly from Rotherham (25 September 2014)

Loved rome and loved the camp small friendly and spacious
Justin from Worcester (24 September 2014)

Camping fabulous is a lovely place to unwind after a day in busy rome. It's in a good location for enjoying the city, without the chaos. Also, even on a very hot day, it's a cool, shaded place, with beautiful pools in which to relax.
Victoria from Nelson, New Zealand (21 September 2014)

Fantastic place for visiting rome eurocamp reps excellent jenny and the guys always willing to help nothing to much trouble full of information about bus and metro timetables mobiles very clean pool area fantastic safe for children camping fabulous fantastic
Linda from Walsall (19 September 2014)

A really lovely holiday , we were able to easily access rome and take in all the sights
Karen from Norwich (18 September 2014)

On arriving later than expected we were told that there had been heavy storms and they had only just stopped. This said we still expected the outside table, chairs and sit out area to have been swept and clean. In the morning we also had to clean inside the mobile as the floor was dirty, so we're the utensils and human hair was on the side of the sink area as it seemed that someone had combed their hair and left it there. Normally we have not found many issues with eurocamp mobiles so we will pass this off as a one- off.
William from Baraize France (17 September 2014)

Really enjoyable holiday. Park was an ideal location to visit rome. Would definitely recommend to families.
Lynne from Caernarfon (16 September 2014)

The eurocamp booking girls were excellent, organising everything and searching for all sorts of options. they were great, especially tilley, I think her name was.
Steve (15 September 2014)

Couriers showed us to our accommodation & that was it!. no info from them about facilities on parc or about how to get about eg to rome. Parc facilities closed at 10.30! ran out of draught beer three times in 12 nights! was disappointed they closed bar totally by pool for rest of season leaving just one very small bar at front of parc but this didn't have enough glasses for amount of guests giving beer in plastic cups !. plastic cup round pool area yes but not in a normal bar!,. food market very good well stocked ! . gift store was a waist of time!. we tried the restaurant on site was not impressed with amount of food for the money!. the takeaway was very good value for money & very fast!. tour info point was very good!,. good choice of tours we went too pommpii with them!. given good advice on how too get into rome & how to use our bus & metro tickets which we bought from the info point!. pools were very good having one for kids & one for adults. . all parc & pools & accommodation were clean!,. staff were frendley & helpful especially the staff in the info point!!
Paul from Walsall West Midlands (14 September 2014)

Great holiday
Jackie from Wigan (08 September 2014)

We stayed for a week and had three days staying at the site, and we spent three days visiting rome.
Lydia from Reading, England (01 September 2014)

The holiday, reps, parc and accommodation were excellent the only reason you didn't get top marks was the dreadful waiters in the restaurant. they really need to buck up, but we aren't put off and we will be back next year!. thank you to all.
Yana from Cardiff (31 August 2014)

Excellent alround
Lisa from Ossett (31 August 2014)

Horrible site..like a refugee camp in the middle
Debra from France (31 August 2014)

Excellent
Christian from Ammanford (31 August 2014)

Parc in very a very attractive wood with decent facilities. We went by public transport and it is a tiring journey into rome. First a short walk along the verge of a very busy road. To the bus stop. Buses are less frequent than claimed (the courier said changed a few weeks before we arrived) and can be grossly overcrowded (i counted 50 standing on one trip). it is then a metro ride to the centre. Not expensive however. The courier said the alternative taxi ride was 40 - 50 euros. On a minor note after the freshly baked french bread at bella italia in peschiera the chewy dry bread on offer was a disappointment and the prepackaged fruit and vegetables were often in large packs. The socket adaptors on sale in the camp supermarket do not fit the eurocamp sockets. A good site but not one that we would return to.
David from Huntingdon (30 August 2014)

We had great weather, clean park facilities and friendly staff at the park.
Rachel from North West (30 August 2014)

Easy to get to, nice pools , great tasting food, plenty to do.
Burgum from Italy Rome (30 August 2014)

Pool needs water slides for kids, caravan never got any sun and the centre of the park that had all the local vans looked a mess.
Dionne from Durham (28 August 2014)

We had a great holiday at camping village fabulous. so easy and quick to get into rome but also very easy to get to the great beaches at ostia and so you get the best of both worlds.
Dan (26 August 2014)

This camp was great for access to rome but the pool complex was a bit basic and the only restaurant was average. rome is a fantastic city and we spent most days there.
Robert from Brentwood (25 August 2014)

Great park for us - clean, nicely landscaped and well managed site, great pools, good restaurant, mobile home well laid out and spacious. our kids (aged 6 to 11) loved the ice cream parlour and kids activities were a good mix of crafts, sports and dancing. nightly entertainment finished before midnight and all quiet on site til after 8am so plenty of undisturbed sleep too! as non italian speakers it was great that staff could all speak english. bus into rome very close and an easy (and cheap!) trip in and airport transfers easy by taxi or shuttle organised by campsite (we holidayed car free).
Kate from Kingston-Upon-Thames (23 August 2014)

Good camp however I feel it let itself down by the entertainment at night as there was loads of things for the kids all the up to 11 but nothing for the adults which most huddled around a tv watching mtv. also the female live singer was very poor screeching cat harsh I know but true, also the euro camp staff really didn't promote any activity's outside the camp. but overall a good spot to explore rome.
George from Salisbury (22 August 2014)

Great park in a fantastic location.
Maggie from Harrogate (21 August 2014)

We booked camping fabulous as a base for seeing rome. The site was exceeded my expectations and the children loved it so much they didn't want to leave. We spent 3 nights here and found getting into rome so cheap. A tip for getting to site book through parc as we were surprised dispute public transport being so reasonable it cost 14 euros each to get from airport into rome. We ended up getting a taxi which cost 15 euros per person for a 20 minute ride.
Customer 109 (19 August 2014)

This is our second time of going and we loved camp fabulous. I have 4 children of different ages 6-16 and they all voted to go back. The rep sian was brilliant and helped us with anything we needed. The improvement this year was there were more organised activities to do for the children- mini discos/art & craft/salsa classes/football match etc which wasn't there last year.
Louise from Leatherhead Surrey (18 August 2014)

Really nice park, helpful and friendly eurocamp couriers. good sized caravan, nice and clean. generally a great holiday
Philippa from London (17 August 2014)

Children's camp activities are very much geared towards italian speakers so this meant that my son could not really fully access the camp. The gelateria had varied prices and standards of interpreting the ice-cream menu depending on who was serving. Many restaurant staff were not as friendly and helpful as we have experienced at other eurocamp parcs we have stayed in. The shop was limited in what was available and the 10euro minimum spend to use cards in shops and bars would have been ok if it wasn't for the cash kiosk being out of order. We chose the parc because of easy access to rome and so didn't take a car - it was difficult to access cash as a result. . . the eurocamp team, however, were excellent!
Carole (17 August 2014)

Only stayed for 4 nights - used it as a base to explore rome before moving on. Campsite a lot better than we expeected - should have stayed a couple of extra nights to get the best out of everything that was available mobile home smaller than we usually have but ok - eurocamp reps were great but campsite info desk not always that helpful
Simon (16 August 2014)

The parc was great and that was a life safer. The area was a little remote and we were unable to find anywhere nice to eat off site outside rome or the parc, the local cafe culture was so low key we could not find it despite trying hard. (previously stayed in caps in france and northern italy near off site restaurants etc) .luckily the camp restaurant served good food at a reasonable price with good staff so that softened the blow. . camp entertainment was full on most evenings but as we had 4 teenage kids (2 @17 2@18) with us we did not really notice but some of the people around with small children had to adapt to this. . . accommodation was modern and clean but we would advise eurocamp to either supply 2 pillows or take one your self- we ended up buying pillows as the one provided were small. . reps good with just the right level of help and concern and not being pushy and the small niggles with the van in terms of lights etc sorted immediately so could not fault. . mixed response on whether we would go again; knowing what we know now we would expect a different holiday. I would go back to the parc but would worry about the location especially with older teenagers unless they are happy to stay on site at night. .
Dene from Norfolk (01 August 2014)

Lovely site with easy access to rome. The lagoon pool and ice cream was enjoyed by all the family.
Anne from Beverley (01 August 2014)

Fantastic location with excellent public transport to rome but a lovely forest location. Great and cheap ice cream and good parc facilities. The pool was always crazy busy and the evening entertainment we thought was unnecessarily loud and therefore impossible to escape.
Rachel from Aylesbury (31 July 2014)

Great park to explore rome
Stephen from Aylesbury (30 July 2014)

Great holiday in superb location for rome. Good quality accomodation and eurocamp staff were exteremly helpful after 19hrs of driving.
Eric from Hitchin (30 July 2014)

Excellent for visiting the centre of rome.
Jill from Prescot (30 July 2014)

Overall a good holiday but as the campsite is on the outskirts of a city it is not as picturesque as usual. also nowhere to walk to, and although it is advertised that you do not need a car I would disagree if you are staying more than a few nights.
Eve from Edenbridge (30 July 2014)

We had a very nice holiday, till next time
Durkje from Zaandam (26 October 2013)

We stayed here for our honeymoon. I think in peak season this park would be excellent, great value for money and our son (3 yrs) loved it here. However as we were staying at the end of the season, there were a few issues. When we arrived the shop was shut and didn't open until 5.30 (we arrived at 10.30am). so we found ourselves stranded in the middle of nowhere with no food or drink. We managed to get the bus to find a supermarket but never found one, and ended up eating lunch in burger king! it would have been nice to have a heads up about the amenities on site being shut until the evening most days. We never ate in the restaurant as they only had about 5 dishes to choose from. Our accommodation was great though, and we did enjoy our stay. Our son loved the pool, and we were lucky that was still open due to the weather being so warm. . . getting into rome was ok most days, but sometimes the buses weren't that reliable. The 070 bus that was meant to take us to the beach never showed, so after waiting for 1.5 hours we took a taxi. But generally the public transport was easy to use and usually reliable. . no perks for being on your honeymoon in italy too, not even worth mentioning!
Glenn from Staffordshire (21 October 2013)

We lived next to 1200 german students and they were extremely noisy. They played music on loudspeakers on the terrace until way past midnight. Unfortunately for keycamp there mobilhomes were next to the german students. Other parts of the parc were more quiet. Some of the activities were closed our rented full time by the german program.
Anne (19 October 2013)

Couple of gripes. The parc is in the middle of nowhere.. so, the restaurants, shops & bar are vital. To have them closed so much.. even in the off season (there were still big numbers there!) was a shame, and took away from our holiday. The walk to the nearest shop with a young child was treacherous. . we couldn't get food until 7pm each night, again, with a young child, this wasn't ideal. . my only other complaint would be the staff in the bar / restaurant area. They were less than helpful. One member during the day was unwilling to serve us ice-cream at 1pm , apparently ice cream was only to be sold after 2pm??? great rule!. .
Shaun-Martin from Belfast (07 October 2013)

Ideal site to see rome. Not a place for young children in september
Porter from Rome (05 October 2013)

Excellent clean camp and accommodation. Couriers made everything easy and couldnt have been more helpful. Getting into rome and back not too bad although buses unreliable.
Kate from Cowichan Bay. Canada (30 September 2013)

The parc was lovely, a great setting very pretty. It was a shame about the couriers, this was our second time with eurocamp and last year the couriers were great but a bit disappointed this year. We were there for 2 weeks and apart from the first morning when they came around to see if we were ok as it had been a bit noisy the night before due to some loud students we never saw them except for when we needed something. My daughters pushchair broke during our second week and I had to go and ask one of the couriers about needing some clean linen anyway so thought I would mention the fact that my daughters pram had broken just incase he either had a tool kit or new of a maintainence man on site or even if he might be able to recommend somewhere to buy a new one but to be honest he couldn't have seemed less interested, we did end up managing to buy a new one luckily. But yes just a little disappointed, even on the morning we were leaving they never came to say goodbye we couldn't find anyone to leave the key with and ended up leaving it with the main park reception.
Helen from Bristol (30 September 2013)

Oh dear, where do I start. Have been on holiday with keycamp for approx 20 years. Have never gave a bad review before. Have returned to sites before, but this wont happen here. There was hundreds of teenagers. This was not a problem as they were taken out by their carers.( 1 adult to 50 teenagers as we later found out) but when they were running amok and screaming at 4am it was not pleasant. We felt threatened and never slept. Even the site security man did a runner. How keycamp, eurocamp and canvas can use this site I do not know. It will make me think twice about what brochures say in the future.
Dave from Coulby Newham (29 September 2013)

A very good park. The ice cream shop is a must and very cheap. However, take plenty of insect repellent to prevent being eaten alive. All the staff at the park spoke good english and were very friendly.
Stephen from Stratford-Upon -Avon (28 September 2013)

Excellent parc great location for exploring rome.
Kevin from Paignton Uk (23 September 2013)

Excellent location, lovely accommodation. Easy access to rome.
Confirmed Holidaymaker from Easy Access To Rome. (21 September 2013)

Overall, an excellent location for rome and close to airport. the parc itself is fine but the real reason for being there is rome. very good public transport links as well.
Chris from Plymouth (20 September 2013)

The camp was excellent..but I hope potential customers will double check it's location before believing what eurocamp say..when I booked the camp, I was told it was a 'short distance' from the metro..and the old brochure said so as well. The new brochure has changed to say a 'short'bus ride from the metro..its not! it's a 20 minute bus ride at best; 40 minutes in the rush hour..and that's without the walk along a busy road with no footpath and negotiating a busy road junction just to get to the stop. The camp actually isn't in rome itself..you was a pass going in which says..welcome to rome..and when you come out the sign says..sorry you're leaving rome!!!
Barrie from Lichfield, Staffs (20 September 2013)

My review relates to the camping fabulous in rome. Norcenni in florence was without fault. The rome site was scruffy and members of park staff, particularly in reception were abrupt and unfriendly. An onslaught of students into the eurocamp accommodation at the end of our stay caused extreme noise into the early hours of the morning, however after a word with our courier this was remedied. 0
Andrew from Truro, Cornwall (19 September 2013)

Close to the historic city of rome.
Simon from Birzebbuga, Malta (15 September 2013)

Great parc, good location.
Carol (15 September 2013)

A very relaxing and enjoyable experience
Maggie from Wimborne Dorset (13 September 2013)

The swimming pool area on the camp was fantastic and the reps were great. overall, I would recommend this camp as a great base for exploring rome.
Christopher from Salford (13 September 2013)

Facilities basic with no quiet areas, especially loud entertainment at night. Pool geared up for younger children.
Karen from Nottingham (07 September 2013)

Large camp with everything ou need we had said we will return, kids loved it (very good pool complex if you have younger children). lively but still quiet at night because all noise is kept to a minimum after 10, if you do go here and you like the look of the resturant then book in advance it gets very busy but all in all we had a great time and would recommend.
Iain from Bristol (03 September 2013)

A basic relaxing environment and lovely staff with very easy access to rome
Jane from Redworth (01 September 2013)

Brilliant base for visiting rome. easy to get into the city centre on public transport. we have small children who have a limited appetite for the chaos and bustle of rome, so we did sight-seeing in the morning, and unwound at the pool in the afternoon. vista mobile home was spacious and modern, and the air-conditioning was extremely welcome.
Liz from Banbury (30 August 2013)

Great. Definitely stay here again. Best pool for young children in the whole catalogue.
Robert from Okehampton (27 August 2013)

The overall holiday experience was only let down by the delayed flight from luton and hence we missed the pre booked taxi to the parc which had already payed a non refundable charge of 45 eoro. We had been advised to pre-book the taxi.
Stephen from Kensworth (27 August 2013)

Ordered amedium sized family car, yet given a 208. This in our opinion is a small car for 5 people. When booking the holiday we were told it woulod be a 308. Only just squeezed in. Maps just to get us to our destination, but no further didn't help when most local sightseeing is off the map ie naples, pompeii - used to get larger local maps in addition to the get you there map - maybe this could be an optional extra in the future. Thoroughly enjoyed what we did see, but driving around the naples area where the road and signage is poor was very difficult - need to warn people, and perhaps give suggested routes and how the roads will be signed. We lost all sense of direction which has never happened before in over 20 years of driving abroad. Generally however a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
Lesley from Coventry (26 August 2013)

Good campsite with lots to do, great caravan, ideal location to explore rome
Nick from Bridgwater (24 August 2013)

A brilliant holiday
Mark from Bristol (24 August 2013)

Great place to visit rome. friendly and helpful staff
Lynne from Lancashire (22 August 2013)

All of our family enjoyed this holiday and we intend to visit italy again next year. The parc was fantasic and our kids rated it as their best ever holiday and they have been all over the world on all types of holidays.we as parents had time to relax because the pool was a soft lined pool and was very shallow so you could see the kids even when they were over the other side of the pool. The life guards are very good and stopped any thing getting out of hand. Brillaint holiday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Paul from Stockport (22 August 2013)

Great for sightseeing in rome
