Had a great time here. Good facilities and accommodation. Location great too Peter (21 September 2015)
Camping tucan is a lovely site, good sized pool, great food at bar, and they were showing football on tv. evening entertainment was basic, kids enjoyed it. 15 minutes walk from a very pretty beach. 40 minute walk to main lloret de mar beach (but we preferred ours, it had a beach bar, lifeguards, toilet, beach shower) . our eurocamp rep was helpful, friendly and our caravan was well stocked, clean, and air conditioning. . we had a hire car and went to port adventura twice (2 hours each way) motorway made it easy. (if you have pre booked paid for your tickets go straight to information desk, not ticket kiosks ). llorret de mar water park was excellent. . lots of supermarkets near to campsite. We would go back again. Nina from Norfolk (06 September 2015)
Overall everything I wanted out of a holiday Carole from Stoke On Trent (30 August 2015)
Just up the. Road from the main town very frendly grate staff but not for people with warking problems has its steep Richard from Sandbach (26 August 2015)
Very pleasant holiday! Naomi from Nottingham (17 August 2015)
Overall a great holiday. We have two older children 9 and 16 and plenty in surrounding area for them but part not really set up for this age group Douglas from Sheffield (15 August 2015)
The park itself was extremely clean and well maintained, the receptionist were also very helpful, especially the young lady who spoke exceptional english, french and spanish. The major problem this park has us the pool area, although again extremely clean and well maintained it was like a rat race to get a sun bed by the pool. The gates were opened at 10 which was a good time but the other holiday makers pushed, ran around moving beds and throw towels over the fences! we would line up in a orderly fashion, having to get to the pool 20 minutes before the gates even opened. The life guard at the pool looked scared for his life when grown men ran at him and had no control over the situation at all or back up! although we had a lovely holiday, this part of the day was very stressful and others became abusive! this is the reason we would not return to camping tucan! Mandy (08 August 2015)
Quite good overall. Sophie (01 August 2015)
I was disappointed to find that the eurocamp was at the top of a hill and that no mention of this before we went. At 70 years old I found it difficult. Also it is just as well none of my party have a fear of ants as I have never seen so many and my bed was crawling with them on the first night. May I also say the way you treat your staff is deplorable, have the time we were there ed your rep had to sleep in a tent at over 40 degrees. On a plus your rep could not have been more helpful and the kids did enjoy the pools. Stuart from Glasgow (15 July 2015)
Nice area to holiday in, close to beaches, buses, trains etc if you did'nt have a car, only about an hours drive from barcelona. Ivor from Cork, Ireland (05 July 2015)
Came here with my husband and 4 year old twins, we all had a brilliant time. Brilliant kids pool and water slides. All staff friendly and helpful. Excellent location. Just want to go back! Laura from Wolverhampton (16 June 2015)
Lovely place, best holiday ever! Belinda (30 May 2015)
Enjoyed the holiday, the courier very good and the weather was good. Customer 13 from Billingshurst (30 May 2015)
Stayed at camping tucan from 23/05/2015 for a week. The site itself has everything that you will need though slightly on the small side (compared to some eurocamp sites that I have stayed at). my 6 year old son loved the site as he made lots of new friends and made use of the pool, including the slides every day. As there was only two of us (myself and my son) we didn't manage to get to main lloret though fenals was nice for a few trips. Got the dofijet glass bottom boat out to tossa one day which I would highly reccomend. Rosemary from Manchester (30 May 2015)
We use eurocamp each year for our family holiday but this was our first time visiting spain and it exceeded all our expectations, the local people were so friendly and it was so clean. We have already decided we are returning next year! Melanie from Poole (29 May 2015)
Had a fantastic time. Would 100% go again. Kids loved it. Claire (24 May 2015)
Really good site with excellent facilities. Good position for exploring the costa brava Nigel from Tadcaster (24 May 2015)
This is a small site with quite a lot of accommodation placed closely together. The accommodation is however up to eurocamp's usual standard and was immaculately clean. the facilities on site are smaller than many but were well run, clean and the restaurant/bar was good value and pleasant to be in. llorett itself will appeal to the party animals but the local beach at fenals is quieter with great views and restaurants. Timothy from Barnstaple (17 May 2015)
We had a fab time staying at camp tucan the pool and water slides really did make it a great holiday for the children. The whole site was very well kept and clean. We booked with euro camp and our rep ed was lovely and very helpful how ever euro camps caravans our at the back of the resort up a massive hill which would put the fittest person out of breath! were we were staying was then tucked behind another caravan which ment going on the dirt/sand! proved very dificaulte with a double buggie I would not book with eurocamp on this site again for this reason only. Jessica (17 May 2015)
Ed was superb, always happy friendly and willing to help Mark from Sheerness (11 May 2015)
Site was very small and caravans too close. Lj from Normanton (10 May 2015)
Eurocamp false advertised this holiday it did not have any of the item listed in the brochure. Etc bike hire, trampolines, heated swim pools, mini golf. Deborah from Middlesbrough (12 April 2015)
Pool very cold and bar not open as begining of season Catherine from Watford (12 April 2015)
I've got mixed feelings about the holiday I just had at camping tucan. Ed the eurocamp rep was great, always available and he is very good humoured, makes you feel welcome everytime he sees you, the reception staff were helpful too. The pool was good, my kids really enjoyed it but too cold for me in april with the main pool not being heated. . the adjacent farm with the dogs barking all night and the cockerel crowing were more than annoying, it was difficult to get to sleep some nights as the barking was relentless. You can forgive the cockerel but the dogs were too much!! the situation of the park isn't great, not just because of the farm but also due to the four lane road that is right outside with a crossing that isn't controlled, so you are at the mercy of the drivers in all four lanes for crossing the road, which you need to do if you want to go to the beach. The beach itself was very stony and that made it difficult to like although the setting was good. Blanes beach (10 mins away) is much better although still stony but stones are smaller. A great base for travelling to barcelona from, which is around 45-60 minutes drive away. We enjoyed our holiday overall, but wouldn't go back to this site again. Chris from Mansfield (11 April 2015)
Great time. The courier was great, cheerful and full of information and always on hand if a problem arose. The only thing I would say is directions to the park are sketchy and because the park is just as you enter the town it's easy to drive on by. Customer 25 from Hereford. Uk (08 April 2015)
Arrived first day of the season. They were still getting the camp ready. There was no wi fi. And the slides weren't open. Which we knew before booking. Nice clean site. Friendly and helpful courier. Nice pool. If cold. Lovely weather. Fat away from lloret de mar. But neat lovely beaches. Would go again. Louise from Matlock (03 April 2015)
Lovely holiday. Courier ed was excellent, friendly and very helpful. He also sorted out any problems we had very efficiently. . loved the surrounding area. Everything was at a 5 minute drive away from the parc as we rented a car. Beaches and tourist destinations were beautiful. barcelona was a 1hr away. Would love to come back to this parc in the future . Imran from Luton (01 April 2015)
Not much to do on the site but not far from the centre with a bus stop outside. Def for families with young children and able to walk as on a steep hill but didnt bother us. Lisa from Suffolk (18 September 2014)
We had a brilliant time at camping tucan, the park was perfectly placed and the accommodation was great. Our little boy loved his "holiday house" and we had david the duck visit us regularly, much to our boys delight. The courier edd was very friendly and went out of his way to make us welcome, waiting for us to check us in at 1 o clock in the morning! he also sited us right next to our friends so we could put our boys to bed and sit and chill with some bottles of wine and keep an eye on them both. The area is lovely, the beach just a short walk away and we had some great fun at the gnome park. We would definitely use eurocamp again. Robert from Andover (10 September 2014)
Brilliant holiday my kids loved it especially the pool comes and played there all day. Staff very friendly. Kathryn (30 August 2014)
Give ed a caravan, he was by far the best rep we have ever had on any holiday and our caravan was right beside his accommodation of a tent?? a bit unfair we think especially when a storm came. Steven from Essex (29 August 2014)
Very disappointing on arrival. We did not expect to have a dual carriageway outside the main entrance to the camp & this is not mentioned in the brochure . the camp is situated in a clearing/hillside among a concrete jungle & beach access is a long walk through lorrett town itself. Camp facilities are good etc, restaurant & bar poor quality compared to other euro camps that we have visited in the past. Euro camp courier edd was good fun & sorted out any problems we had very efficiently . including the various power cuts & occasional lack of water from the chalet taps.:/ ( seriously folks). in all we will not be returning to camp toucan & it was in all a place I was glad to leave in the end. Thankfully the holiday was seved by the wonderful loire & dordonie parts of france we visited to & from spain. R. from Suffolk (19 August 2014)
Friendly helpful staff, good area for hol, kids loved it John from Notts (09 August 2014)
Lovely holiday. Nice site not to far from girona airport. No need for a car as local buses close to site. Eurocamp section nice and secluded at back of park. Beach a little further away then expected, 15 min walk, but worth a visit as sea warm and so clean. Parc far enough out of lloret de mar, one visit was enough! on site entertainment was great, not usually our thing but enjoyed it at camping tucan. Sue from Stockport (08 August 2014)
We enjoyed our holiday. The local beaches were nice and the parc was good too. We found there was not many other british there so kids did not enjoy this holiday as much as france in previous years. Loved the view and location of the accommodation. Travel from barcelona was straigtforward. Louise (06 August 2014)
We enjoyed are overall holiday . great weather, lovely beaches and quiet area of park apart from barking dogs. Michelle from Gloucester (26 July 2014)
Great parc, great beach (but a bit of a trek with kids in tow). parc was quite closer to the town that I had realised, so lots of traffic, police sirens etc. lloret is a real party place for young people so not really a place for families in the evening, but fine for the day time. kids loved the entertainment on the parc and at the beach. waterworld was great fun. Sue from Buochs (20 July 2014)
Very good time had by all Alan from Penicuik (17 July 2014)
Camp was good for families with small children, though night entertainment started quite late. not much for older kids. good proximity to beach and town. site was very well maintained and staff constantly working on its upkeep. caravan layout was poorly designed with little storage, also really unpleasant smell from wc. courier ed was outstanding and would have given him a higher score than 10 if available! Karen from Belfast (14 July 2014)
Tucan camping was an ideal location for a family fun filled holiday. Our 5 yr old loved the onsite activities and the town itself is within walking distance. Seamus from Derry (07 July 2014)
We really liked our accommodation at the back of the site, and up a small hill. We had lovely views from our deck. The local area, and beaches, were beautiful. Ed, our rep from holland, was first class. The only downside was that the pool area got quite busy, but we preferred going to the local beaches anyway Fergus from Edinburgh (05 July 2014)
Travelled alone with 5 year old grandson, felt safe enough really disappointed infact driven to the point of distraction by loud partying all male group in there teens-twenty a in the caravans opposite and directly behind me- thought this was a family orientated park that's why I chose it!!!!!!!!!!!!!reported it to the courier on several occasions. Meet and greet and main reception was very cold and informal almost like I had interrupted their day different when tucan rep came to collect me. Anita (30 June 2014)
The thing that let it down was know entertainment at night on this parc Chris from Suffolk (23 June 2014)
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we felt that this was a park that we would return to. The only small disadvantage was that we didn't have quite the usual amount of privacy on our deck for eating outside as we usually have with eurocamp due to the way the mobiles were arranged. However this was a small detail, we shall certainly holiday with eurocamp again, probably this year.we have been holidaying with you since our children were small, we now come with our grandchildren!!! Sue from London (19 June 2014)
We had a great time in lloret de mar at camping tucan with our toddler. The travel cot was set up for our arrival and our espirit lodge was immaculate as were the grounds and the pool area. We were ten minutes from a supermarket, a fifteen minute stroll from a beach and 20 minute stroll to the town centre and bus station. Very relaxing atmosphere and family friendly. Helen from Montrose (10 June 2014)
We all enjoyed the holiday very much. Gina from Sandbach (31 May 2014)
Excellent park within 2 day drive from uk. Nigel from York (25 May 2014)
It was generally a pleasant holiday but the campsite lacked open amenities even in may. We were told these would be open. Such as the trampolines and the golf course. The campsite owners were friendly and the campsite was peaceful. Lucy from Toulouse (10 May 2014)
Really struggle to find fault with this holiday. The park was great for my kids although the swing parks could do with a bit more thought. My children loved the swimming pools and the chalet accommodation was perfect. Because o have toddlers a gate on the decking outside would've been ideal but we made do by putting a sunbed across the open section. Nearby there are two big supermarkets which was ideal. I loved the convenience of the location. Our host couldn't have been more helpful. One morning there was a power cut and he was on the case straight away. U would definitely recommend this park. Tanika from Dartford, Kent (06 May 2014)
All but the parc at le bugue was good. at le bugue we were left waiting to get our accommodation on arrival along with another gentlman and his young family. this was despite us arriving about 4.30pm and there were at least 4 couriers on site their. Our accommodation had no hot water and when we left after two nights, the couriers who we saw on our departure to tell them of the issue with hot water, seemed surprise we were leaving that day. they were not the usual standard of couriers. in contrast, the couriers at sommieres were very welcoming and keen to help. we had a problem with our car and they kindly found the nearest garage for us. Likewise at lloret de mar, the courier was very friendly & offered to take our teenage son to watch the barcelona match at the bar tv on site. staff in sarlat was also very good and the only issue there was that there was no cafetiere in the accommodation. It wasn't on their list but a delivery of them arrived on our last day so they came to apologise for the inconvenience. the accommodation, except for le bugue, was really good, clean and comfortable. Good value for money and well situated for local sites. we enjoyed our holiday very much. Deborah from Eastbourne (26 April 2014)
Lovely park. Location and proximity to amenities were much appreciated Mary from Lloret De Mar (26 April 2014)
Nice quiet site during day dogs barking at night could be a problem sometimes not sure if they where on site or close by. Courier was very friendly and helpful size of double bed room bit small especially for disbled Jennifer from Shepshed (26 April 2014)
After travelling through france and having a dreadful stay at one eurocamp site it was so pleasant to be met by ed at camping tucan. The perfect host, always there if you need him, great to us and the children, really made the holiday. Thanks ed Matthew from Harwich (20 April 2014)
The chalet was very well equipped and clean with all the comforts of home. Unfortunately our chalet location was not as advertised with our decking practically touching the next!!! not impressed. Louise (19 April 2014)
Lovely holiday, ed the eurocamp courier was amazing a very friendly and approachable man which makes such a difference when your in a different country with young children. Donna from Truro (16 April 2014)
Having never been with eurocamp previusly we were very impressed with the accommodation it was everything the website advertises and we were really happy with everything thank you Natalie from Eastbourne (19 September 2013)
Will soon be writing to eurocamp following this trip. despite the reaps assistance the parc is not suited to families and I will also post other reviews outlining this. parties and loud noise are constant throughout the night on one night the music was only turned of a 7am. the parc is also too far from the resort which itself is unwelcoming. a very disappointing holiday and glad to be home to get some sleep. Mark from Cambridge (16 September 2013)
We booked this as a sun holiday so I have rated it highly for value for money but I have priced it up for the same time next year and think that it is very expensive. Would recommend the site. Craig from Doncaster (16 September 2013)
Di, our courier was fab. As were all the parc staff. Especially albert & renee, the entertainment guys. Their aqua gym session made our holiday! unfortunately the keycamp part of the parc itself was a bit of a let down - pointlessly left unfinished. There were also ants everywhere in the accommodation - particularly worrying with an 8 month old baby. I'd go back to the parc but not with keycamp :( Emma (07 September 2013)
Campsite in good location, slightly tainted by noise from adjoining campsite. but keycamp can't be blamed for someone snoring like a walrus! nice pool complex and added bonus of poolside entertainment in the afternoon. Graham from Hove (31 August 2013)
Holiday spoilt by 1 simple thing - that the pool area is inadequate for the number of guests on the parc. The nonsense of people literally running to put towels on sun loungers when the pool gate is opened at 10.00 is not a way to have a holiday. This would not be so bad if they enforced the "no reserving of sun beds rule" but they don't. Whole rows of beds would be reserved with towels and then the people would disappear for several hours. Basically this meant that we simply avoided the parc for all but sleeping - not what I paid for. Mark from Camberley (18 August 2013)
We had a great holiday, pool was lovely, plenty to do accommodation spacious and had everything we needed. Jenna from Inverness (06 Jul 2013)
The pool was great during the day but because it wasn't closed off at night we couldn't go to evening entertainment because it was to unsafe. Our rep diane was brill Lisa (05 Jul 2013)
Camping tucan is well located near beaches and supermarkets with a handy bus stop a few hundred yards away. The camp site is fairly small and therefore quite quiet, ideal for families. There were activities organised especially in high season for those who wanted to get involved. it was busier at weekends as it seems popular with the spanish themselves. it was spotlessly clean and well maintained. it is far enough away from the main twon of lorett that you are not disturbed by it and it's busy night lift, yet a local bus cycle will help you access it and it's treasures through the day. the maine museum and the cliff walk at the far end of the llorett beach is worth exploring. a short bus trip will take you from just outside the campsite to the train station at blanes for the journey into barcelona - about 1.5 hour journey. Recommend you get off at 'catalonya' station for access to gothic area and ramblas. would highly recommend bike hire - try budget bikes - as a great way to see lots and not just the main sights, - hire shops will work out a route to suit your needs - I went with my 10 year old and was given a great route cycle paths through-out the city make it safe and easy. all in all camping tucan is a great site for a sun holiday and city sight seeing. it is worth noting that most local beaches are fine pebbles rather than sand - cheap beach shops available locally are worth considering Pam from Dublin (02 Jul 2013)
Only reason I gave low score for value for money was the cost of wifi, bought wifi for two devices myself and nephew, didn't work. complained numerous times to reception and was told it was my computer even though it worked else where. the last two days of our holiday it started working. that was really the only downside. Coral (20 Jun 2013)
Caravans parked on hill, so uphill walk to most caravans, shop only open in high season and bar shut quite early, about 20 minute walk to beach, ad at least 20 mins to lloret Penny from Hatfield (11 Jun 2013)
The park was clean and the pools were excellent we had a really good time. the kids (aged 7,4 and 1) enjoyed the water slides and we had a fabulous day in barcelona enjoying the camp nou experience a must for any respectable football fan. the kids want to come back next year. Joanne from Reading (01 Jun 2013)
We have had a great holiday and would book again. Our keycamp rep diane was very helpful and always available. Nothing was to much trouble. She could do with a printer as we booked transport to the airport but couldn't print it off. It would have been good to have had a small supermarket on site. Also the slides atvthe pool didnt open until 12noon this ould have done with being earlier. We paid for wifi internet for a week and the signal was very slow and sporadic. Michael from Clitheroe (30 May 2013)
Wonderful area. Courier was exceptional and made the holiday special.(diane) pool lovely Nigel from Tadcaster (25 May 2013)
Was greeted on arrival by the rep, who checked throughout our time there that we had everything we needed. Caravan was ideal and was a lot better than I thought it would be. Weather was not so great so did not use pool much but on the few days we did it was lovely. Lack of entertainment in evenings but that was not a major issue for us. Karen from Hythe / Southampton (22 May 2013)
Great accomodation, very helpful staff on site. The pool was ideal for our 2 toddlers to play in. Good location for the beaches and local gardens, though we would recommend having a car if you like us have young kids as although the nearest beach is less than a mile it is very hilly (and there are some lovely beaches 2-3miles away) Confirmed Holidaymaker (11 May 2013)
Although the accommodation at the park was very good and everything worked well, unfortunately the weather was a total let down. It rained every day and was cold so we couldn't enjoy the facilities (not your fault). diane, your representative was very friendly and helpful and ensured that we were happy and comfortable with our accommodation. She even went out of her way to assist us with information about the area and travel plans. Just three slight criticisms: 1) it could have been made clearer that the beach was not quite close to the camp and maybe provide a map of the quickest route to it. 2) it should be clearer that camping tucan is part of a bigger camp and better travel directions could include that a change of buses was required to get to it and 3) just to let you know that the flue and the vent in the lounge area let in water when it was raining and the wind was blowing in a certain direction. Lloyd (08 April 2013)
