Dreadful town - a bit like a warm, french, rhyl Simon from Chester (25 August 2014)
Firstly the toilets were very smelly and smelt of human waste. Spoke to peter and he did forward the issue to the parc but there was no improvement despite filters/air freshness were deployed. Also at night the teenagers would gather outside the table tennis tables and were very loud up to 2pm some nights despite a 23:00 hrs curfew. The last night there was aggressive banging and smashing if glass which terrified the children, clearly someone wasn't happy about something?. one night while I and my eldest of 13 years was brushing out teeth while my 9 yr daughter was using the toilet, a door was kicked down by one one the teenagers seen hanging around the table tennis tables. The security were non existent which allowed this to occurs and then get out of hand. Peter the rep was excellent and would have him again even though would not attend again as not really suitable for young families due to the hostile environment. Tent was amazing as well as the beaches. Will from Northampton (11 August 2014)
Poor accommodation had to pay 42 euros to be able to use our own internet £1800 for was supposed to be a chalet was a caravan. Reception not interested in english never again drainage smelled bad no matter how much bleach we put down it peter was great only saving grace Richard from Bramley Hampshire (04 August 2014)
We really enjoyed our holiday and would love to go back there next year. Justine from Stourbridge (28 July 2014)
Holiday was fab! peter was lovely and so helpful. Would have been even better if there were activities/ shows of an evening Natasha from Ellesmere Port (30 June 2014)
The best thing about the parc was the cleanliness of the parc. Also the courier peter was really good at looking after you and making you feel most welcome Customer 6 from Birmingham (20 June 2014)
Good holiday though personally would not want to be on that site in height of season as would be too busy/ noisy. Bar was not open, internet access not possible from chalet we stayed in had to go to nearer hotspots to get it, also had to pay for it. Beds firm but pillows too soft for my liking. Facilities good, though no shop on site intermarche just across road. Local transport very good but to go elsewhere further afield required bus + train or changing buses. Eurocamp only had a few of chalets on site so not really a true eurocamp site. Reginald (13 May 2014)

Very disappointed with this campsite - expected better from eurocamp (we had stayed in a much nicer site for a few days en route to les pins). I am also disappointed that the brochure did not fairly reflect the park or the location. The site is very large with the small number of eurocamp caravans at the rear of the park. Site very busy and plots small and crowded. No privacy between plots so quite conscious of using barbeque right next to tents and washing lines of adjoining plots. Decking area for three bed caravan not adequate - it has been built to try and accomodate parking space on the plot. The pool is nice, but I think the description as "centrepiece pool" is misleading, with three identical slides at the side of the pool, but nothing else. . argeles sur mer seems to be a purpose built resort with very little authentic french flavour. The promenade is extremely busy in the evenings with casinos and discos along it. The pedestrian shopping area sells mainly ice creams, t-shirts with adult slogans and tattoo designs. . the campsite is situated on the main road with blocks of flats on either side. The beach can be accessed on foot, but only by crossing this very busy road. . I would not recommend this site - I think it gives a very poor impression of the eurocamp standard. Kate from Cardiff (25 August 2013)
Although we enjoyed ourselves at camping les pins, we have some serious issues with the way it differed greatly from how it was written up in your brochure:. 1. "300 yds from the beach" - no way, it was a good half a mile, and you omitted to say it was across a busy road and other minor ones. the half mile is from the gates of the camp - if you added the walk from the far end of the camp where the eurocamp caravans are..! this would be a real issue for anybody with small children. 2. a pool with a separate baby area is not two pools. this is estate agent like bending the truth. please be honest. . 3. your directions to the camp are completely inaccurate. we found it by chance. it is not "opposite tourist information". . we did not bring these issues up with our courier - not his problem. these are head office issues, and we expect better of eurocamp. We had a lovely holiday - weather was fantastic but I have been to much nicer parcs and the quality of the accommodation was not what it used to be. Lisa (16 Jul 2013)
A small but nice parc. Parking a bit tight. Very good pool. Good proximity to beach. Missed the usual kids clubs. Nigel from Washington (13 Jul 2013)
Super! clean and friendly site, relaxed atmosphere. Hayley from Halesworth (12 Jul 2013)
Facilities poor for children, park is tired and pool is not kid friendly.we went to the beach everyday instead. Customer 14 from B77 1Js (06 Jul 2013)
The parc was well situated for local shops-excellent bakery, greengrocers and local intermarche supermarket. The beach is a short walk across main road and is ok but not outstanding. Eurocamps accommodation is set in a quiet spot and had an average size plot. Paul from Folkestone (29 Jun 2013)
Old tired accommodation, although clean Amanda (25 Jun 2013)
Great last minute break, fantastic park just before the madness of the summer season. Imagine the pool facilities would be a little overrun in the height of summer. Incredibly clean and well kept parc. Chris from Leicestershire (25 Jun 2013)
This was our first eurocamp holiday and we very much enjoyed it. we will definitely do it again. Anthony from Peterborough (22 Jun 2013)
Argeles has something for everyone, and is a very friendly town. we went for sun and walking and got both, though it was a little hot for walking on some days. Particularly recommended is the coastal walk to collioure. Transport facilities are good - our car rarely moved from the campsite. however we visited in june. Lots of things weren't open or only opening mid june. this suited us, but do think it may be very noisy and crowded in august given the number of campsites in the area. With such a huge choice of restaurants we had to choose carefully, avoiding the seafront ones as we were being co-erced into them by greeters! we recommend pirate by the port, and les charmettes, a logis hotel, opposite camping les pins where we stayed. good local wines. Carol from London (18 Jun 2013)
My boyfriend and I had a lovely holiday in argelés in june. The weather was beautiful despite the forecast saying rain most days. Camping les pins campsite was very nice. It was clean, quiet and close to the beach. As we stayed in early june however, high season hadn't properly kicked in so the restaurant and takeaway weren't open but it did mean we often had the pool practically to ourselves which was worth having to go elsewhere to eat. There were plenty of nice restaurants along the seafront however the choice of food is limited if you don't like seafood. The boat trips to collioure are well worth it as it's a stunning village with lots to see. The only thing that put a slight downer on our holiday was that we were affected by the travel strikes in france. Not only were flights being cancelled and delayed but also the buses and trains weren't running meaning we had to pay for a taxi to the airport. I would suggest that if you are flying, make sure you have a good idea of the transport system and enough money for a taxi if needed! I would definitely recommend this holiday to anyone and certainly hope to return to argelés. Sophie from Sheringham (14 Jun 2013)
Carla the rep worked hard to make the holiday very good. She is a diamond the best rep we,ve ever come across. Mark from Le12 7Pn (21 May 2013)
