Second visit to this site, which is lovely. Very scenic with lovely walks and places nearby. Good facilities on the site and all very clean. The site courier, nicky, was lovely and really helpful. In fact the customer service ethic has been apparent from the call centre staff from the initial booking and then changing our ferry locations and continued onto the site where nicky could be seen helping all the customers. Parc situated on the banks of the dordogne with picturesque views of beynac chateau. Safari tent tatty and old, well equipped and comfortable, nice campsite, though a little basic, clean facilities but smallish pitches. Very friendly and helpful staff. area is lovely, lots to do and see right on the doorstep. Jean from Warsop (24 September 2015)
Lovely, location, accommodation, places of interest and weather. Valerie from Durham (20 September 2015)
Taking everything into account we did have a good holiday. Eurocamp were really easy to deal with through the booking, the only exception being an issue with the onsite courier. The safari tents had everything we needed but lacked the glamping feel we were hoping for, as such we felt they were a little expensive. The parc was in a great location but the wash block did need more frequent cleaning. Emma from Henley (06 September 2015)
Great parc with gorgeous views. Nicky was very helpful and campsite staff equally so. Safari tents are not brilliant for small children though. Roz from Tunbridge Wells (16 August 2015)
Excellent parc, stunning views and great location to river Steve from Ickenham (11 August 2015)
Great site, great facilities. James from Knaresborough (08 August 2015)
Beautiful campsite with very helpful staff. Facilities were good and clean. . the only gripe was the wifi. I know we were on holiday but on the occasions when we needed it, the arduous login and poor signal even at the bar was frustrating. Chris from Cirencester (08 August 2015)
Though the safari tents are lovely the lack of water in the tent and the cost which is over x3 price of the sites own safari tents(which do come with running water) would not make me use eurocamp again. I would however return to this location which is amazing but book directly with site owners. Sarah (05 August 2015)
Excellent site. Well maintained and beautiful surroundings. Safari tent was nice but some aspects were a little tired and the fridge didn't shut properly. Will from Epsom (23 July 2015)
Brilliant! Paul from Ludlow (19 July 2015)
A lovely small parc with very good facilities and an excellent location for canoeing on the dordogne river! Benjamin from London (26 June 2015)
Perfection. . peaceful, welcoming and set within stunning surroundings. We were looking for a little bit of paradise 'on our doorstep' by choosing a safari tent, as we had stayed in one previously and loved it, and we were yet again thrilled to have have found it again at this site. . lush, tall trees surround the site, creating some beautiful shady spots when the temperatures soured to 30degrees mid june! the pool is absolutely spotless and the fresh, local 'pop up' restaurants that visit the site each evening ensures that you never find yourselves stuck eating the same thing each night. All facilities are very well maintained. Best of all, the owners of the site are incredibly hospitable and make everyone feel very welcome. We will definitely be back again but hopefully next time we will bring the whole family! Matthew from York (21 June 2015)
A lovely parc in a beautiful location. Safari tents are very spacious and well equipped with comfortable beds. The only thing that I missed was a small oven, as we enjoy cooking, but with a bit of imagination and a lot of smoke, it's surprising what you can get away with on the bbq. This is a great site to completely chill out with beautiful places to visit. Huw from Beynac Et Cazenac (20 June 2015)
The parc and area were wonderful. The only thing my children missed is a slide at the pool other than that a great place and our courier nicky was ace. Jenny from Bacup (05 June 2015)
Very much enjoyed the scenic setting and all that there was to offer in the area. Liked the safari tents except they need some sort of zip fastening somewhere between the inside and the elements - particularly when there is any wind, as it comes through the gaps and under the front curtains. Jane from Normandy (27 May 2015)
Fantastic location on the river underneath castle of beynac. Walkable for everything. Loads to do in local area, for adults and children. We stayed 5 nights and had a lovely time. Vicky from Telford (27 May 2015)
Excellent as always with euro amp.clean, welcoming and everything at hand for a good family holiday. Jackie (21 May 2015)
An absolutely fabulous holiday, at a gorgeous park in a stunning area of france. The only thing that could have improved it would have been to stay longer!!! Laura from Mold, North Wales (15 May 2015)
I can't describe how great the holiday was! the parc was superb and the safari tent very comfortable. Nicky, the courier, was lovely, very helpful and organised. The location is beautiful, great views from our tent up to the chateau and the local area full of interesting places to visit, many within walking distance. Great runs along the river path each morning. Would definitely return. Susan from Anglesey (19 September 2014)
Fantastic location close to the dordogne river and beynac chateau Lesley from Shifnal,Shropshire (17 September 2014)
What a view! this parc was fabulous, the facilities were cleaned regularly and were of a good standard. The pool area was great for all ages, it is in a great location...it is a must to make the climb to the castle atop the hill!!! our safari tent was clean and very well equipped with fridge freezer. The euro camp rep was very helpful and did a lovely job in ensuring we had everything we could want. We will definitely be back. Gary from Nottingham (01 September 2014)
This camp site is a hidden treasure I would fully recommended. Small yet perfectly formed, clean, well attended with everything you need. The eurocamp safari tents are amazing! huge, welcoming, packed with all you need for a comfortable stay. My only reservation was the layout of the safari tents. Although ours was very private we did feel a little penned in and had very little sunlight or sunbathing area at our particular pitch. Would be quite particular about which tent we booked for next years trip. Definitely recommend though. Rachel from Beynac (31 August 2014)
The drive from st malo was long (8hrs) but it was worth it. Le capeyrou was a fantastic campsite, very chilled out, clean toilets and showers, nice bar, walking distance from shops and restaurants and in a beautiful setting. The kids made loads of friends straight away, the parks are well positioned and handy. The takeaway food vans serve good food especially the frites ! the only issue for us was that there aren't enough sun loungers round the pool. Sarah from Ilkley (24 August 2014)
We only stopped for one night but the parc was clean, enjoyed lots of good facilities and was situated in a lovely setting. the countryside around was beautiful. the only dissappointment was the weather. finally if you have excitable children one british family were extremely rude about noise levels. Helen from Crowborough (16 August 2014)
A really fantastic setting, and a brilliant family holiday. best of all no need to use car at all as there is so much to do within walking distance. Janet from St Albans (13 August 2014)
Site too busy, showers blocks not big enough to cope, pitch had no shade. Paul from Nottingham (08 August 2014)
Wonderful campsite in a wonderful location. . . safari tents very comfy- especially the lovely beds. Our kids had a great time making new friends in the playground and enjoying he pool . Jo from Surrey (08 August 2014)
Stunning place to camp, very picturesque with plenty to do in the local area. Helen (05 August 2014)
The best campsite we have been to - stunning location, immaculate site and washing/shower/toilet facilities, very helpful and friendly staff and local businesses (eurocamp courier, site office staff and team, local supermarket and patisserie!) we have had such a wonderful, relaxing holiday - so big thumbs up to eurocamp for . finding such a fantastic site! Alison from Cambridge (03 August 2014)
Loved our safari tent, quiet park with wonderful views Gill from Oxford (30 July 2014)
Capeyrou was in such an amazing location. perfectly placed in beynac walking distance to the castle, even with young children (although less suitable for buggies). beautiful towns everywhere, an incredible amount to do. wish we had gone here for longer, much better than the other campsite we stayed in. Erica from Worthing (29 July 2014)
Excellent. Kids loved it and so did the parents. Safe, plenty to do, lots to see. Charles from Twickenham (24 July 2014)
Beautiful campsite in a stunning location with superb views. Laura from N Ireland (20 July 2014)
Loved the safari tent, very comfortable. the parc was lovely and the surroundings beautiful. plenty to do. Lisa (11 July 2014)
We spent a fantastic week at le capeyrou, fantastic location, brilliant facilities. This is the best campsite we have visited. Tristan from Weybridge (29 June 2014)
The location of the campsite was perfect for our holiday needs but the eurocamp courier , nicky, was wonderful. Very helpful and welcoming when we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble. She was able to give advice about the immediate area as well as places to visit in the vicinity. great value for money. Maria from Chester (17 June 2014)
We were only here a couple of nights, as it was part of a much longer tour, but a superb site - we'd definitely go back there. Kris from Yorkley, Forest Of Dean, Glos (17 June 2014)
Its a beautiful place, couldnt fault it one bit, lots to do near the site the swimming pool was lovely. The safari ten was imaculate and a brilliant price. I would definitely recomend it. Emily (12 June 2014)
