Ideal for families with small children . as an older couple would have preferred more facilities like an on site restaurant and larger bar area
Kathy (02 September 2015)

Bel is a lovely site - perfect for our children aged 5 & 7. This was our third visit and we still love it. see you next year!
Suzanne from West Wickham (01 September 2015)

A lovely site, the facilities are constantly being cleaned. the pool is chilly but fine when you get in! the site has excellent access to local beaches and the town is just 10 mins walk away. this was our second visit and we will certainly come back. it is the ideal site for families with young children.
Victoria from Cambridge (01 September 2015)

Very relaxed family park and not too draconian
Andy from Exeter (01 September 2015)

The caravan was in the shade only in the sun from 3.00pm, we had originally asked to move accommodation but by a the time we were able to do that some 4 days later we had already unpacked are things. there was a horrible smell of damp, at its worse when we had been out and come back to the caravan. the takeaway was poor with very little choice, no chips either.
Josie from Paignton (31 August 2015)

We had a wonderful time and loved the beach and little town. My only criticism is that the accommodation was very dated and musty smelling and the beds not very comfortable, i'm sure camping would have been more comfortable that the static caravan.
Lucy from Northampton (30 August 2015)

Lovely site with friendly staff. not the largest selection of things to do in-camp but it was quite small and there were good local options so that was no problem
Chris from Ely (30 August 2015)

Great site, really helpful staff. Fantastic location with the beach and other amenities so close. We loved la tranche sur mer. It felt very safe for the kids and they loved the level of independence they got from the site.
Caroline from Chalfont St Peter (30 August 2015)

Our third visit to this well located, very safe for children, park. Looking forward to next year already
Lynda from Newton Abbot (30 August 2015)

The holiday in general was good in the fact that the town was nice and there was plenty of activities to do around which we made use of. The are is a long way from anywhere though which has its down side. No ones fault but it rained for 3 days while we were there, which does limit you when camping.
Iain from Winchester (29 August 2015)

The park was a bit compact with the mobile homes close together, however the facilities for the small park were fine. the park was close to the beach, about 10 minutes walk. the beach was clean and well maintained.
Christopher from Morpeth (29 August 2015)

Small parc near lovely town, beaches and restaurants. Would recommend the area. most of the couriers looked miserable - not ideal when you are on holiday.
Claire from Bournemouth (29 August 2015)

Staff helpful. Tent well equipped, facilities on site immaculate - well done to the lovely cleaning lady on the go stop !!
Maria from Gloucester (29 August 2015)

Weather was terrible but I cant blame eurocamp for that. Parc activities were well organised and we made the most of it.
Jared from Manchester (28 August 2015)

Great holiday.
Emma from Reading (28 August 2015)

This is the 4th time we have been to the site and the statics are still the same old ones, updates have been attempted but they have been done poorly. The vans were not very clean, doors didn't lock very well and the fridge was smaller than the space allocated, it also only had one shelf which for a family of five was not adequate. This overall was not good enough to for the amount we paid and we will not be using eurocamp again next year.
Victoria from Aldershot (28 August 2015)

Spent 6 days at camp and it was great, despite only have 2/3 days of sunshine we had a blast, the other days were stormy but the tent was no issue. Facilities were always clean and kidscamp was fab too my 6 year old loved it. The town it self is a walk away and it's stunning. The superu is also fab, prices are great for a family of 5 we bought our weekly food shop and it was so cheap for lovely fresh food and meat. Breadman that visits park in morning brings fresh croissants, baguettes etc kids loved that too. we loved our whole eurocamp experience and have booked up again already for one further south as we know they are worth the extra drive time.
Jade from Worcester (28 August 2015)

A great site which is well located and fantastic for young children. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed going to the children's club.
Karen from Sunbury-Upon-Thames (28 August 2015)

Great holiday & place
James from Crawley (27 August 2015)

Overall, very enjoyable holiday and delighted that our 8 year old daughter had such fun, helped by the number of similar aged children on site.
Anne-Marie from Thatcham (26 August 2015)

This was our 4th year on this site and with eurocamp. We had a great time and the whole experience lived up to our expectations.
Martin from Cambridge (26 August 2015)

Fabulous, relaxed parc with plenty to keep a 7, 5 and 2 yr old busy. Eurocamp staff were lovely and approachable, steve who was in charge of bikes especially.
Bethan from Cardiff (24 August 2015)

This is one of very few sites where you can both walk into town and onto the beach and has a supermarket nearby.
Lewis from Leeds (24 August 2015)

Our first visit to the site and our first time camping in france since I was a child. I can't fault the site. Brilliant location (beach, town and supermarket on the doorstep), friendly easy going staff and lovely atmosphere. We had a eurocamp tent which is basic but in good condition and comfortable. Washroom facilities are great, plenty of hot showers and always clean (cleaners seemed to be working constantly!). the pool is not too big so perfect for our small kids wo are not confidant swimmers yet. Bar (with free wifi) very relaxed and you can bring your own drink to enjoy while the kids watch the evening movie. . as you would expect other campers all very friendly and our kids made lots of friends and played outside all day. The site is small and secure so you can relax knowing the kids are safe. . there is a free bus service running around the local area. I would recommend taking bus b to la terrière for the best beach in town (15 mins) although all beaches are excellent. Also excellent cycling routes and lots of places to hire bikes if you haven't brought your own. . overall our best family holiday so far.
Adrian (24 August 2015)

The caravan was old and dirty in places. The holiday was made by the venue and the facilities on the camp site, not the accommodation.
Rhodri from Haywards Heath (23 August 2015)

It was our first eurocamp family holiday and we loved it. our tent was in a lovely sunny spot that was close but not visible by the toilet block. perfect for young children. the 2 playgrounds were well utilised by our children!
Zoe from York (22 August 2015)

This is our 5th year on this parc and we love it!it's great for younger children being just the right size with the benefit of the film every night.the parc is brilliantly placed for the beach, town and supermarket all within walking or cycling distance.would definitely recommend it!
Lindsay from London (22 August 2015)

Eurocamp holidays are always relaxing but this park is exceptional as its small and very friendly and within walking distance of everything you need to make a perfect holiday, beaches, ice cream parlours, restaurants, market and supermarket. Hit the supermarket at lunchtime to avoid the crowds. We enjoyed a trip (by boat-also walking distance from site) to ile de ray and saw donkeys in pyjamas!
Natalie from Bishop Stortford (21 August 2015)

Our second year at bel proved to be a real success. Everything within walking distance, the sun shining and a lovely, friendly, sociable campsite. What more could you want with 2 small children...?. booked again for 2016 already!
Nick from Portishead (21 August 2015)

Great quiet small parc perfect for those with young children. Good sized pitches, good pools and great position near to the beach and town. The caravan/mobile home (classics plus) was tired and not particularly clean (it had been cleaned with a dirty mop covered in black hairs). considering how much the holiday cost we expected far more from the accommodation. Couldn't recommend the site enough though.
Tom from Brighton (21 August 2015)

An excellent parc for a young family.
Justin (20 August 2015)

Perfect family holiday.
Chris from Northwich (19 August 2015)

Another enjoyable trip to la tranche sur mer. a great campsite in a lovely part of the french atlantic coast. we will be coming back.
John from Southampton (19 August 2015)

We had visited bel before and the caravan we had stayed in was a good size (2 bed comfort) on this occasion we were allocated the smallest of the 2 bed comfort mobile homes and found it too small for our family, epecially with older children. the toilet blocked whilst we were away. we reported the issue via the communication book and the problem was resolved whilst we were out. a calling card was not left to say the work had been done. there were subsequent problems with the toilet which the campsite manager resolved (as a fellow camper complained) as the toilet pipe underneath the caravan was not accurately secured and there was a terrible smell of sewage as a result. the caravan floor whilst it looked clean was stinking on arrival and the van had not been cleaned to the high standards we have experienced in the past. I would say it must have been given a superficial clean by the couriers. my husband and I spent time washing the floor and disinfecting the surfaces before we unpacked, not something we should have had to do and not the greatest start to our holiday.
Paul from Cardiff (19 August 2015)

It was a lovely holiday. A very friendly camp with fantastic couriers. Who would do anything you asked. Tha mobile home was very clean .when we arrived.
Kelly (19 August 2015)

Poor caravan 17 years old. No co monitors. Sleeping appalling. Mosquitoes due to stagnant water. No views from site. Brits abroad.
Neil (15 August 2015)

Good holiday, the park is really well placed for walking to la tranche with its restaurants and wonderful ice cream parlours. Accommodation basic and not the cleanest but suited us well as the weather good for most of the time so it was just a place to sleep and cook basic food. Great that the bread man delivers everyday too!
Rachel from Huddersfield (15 August 2015)

Steph and the team were excellent
Simon (15 August 2015)

Great small site. walking distance of beach, lovely town with plenty of restaurants and shops, also super u, hardly used our car whilst there. . pool area is small but relaxed and kids can have their large inflatables as only a small toddler slide. Loved the disney films in the evening for the kids by the bar. plenty of people brought up their own drinks and they don't seem to mind. The clown entertainer on friday was great, our kids thought he was hilarious. . our van wasn't the cleanest we've had and was a little old and dated. .
Dan (14 August 2015)

Third time on this site excellent holiday, excellent location so would be good to have same tent next year no.75 please :-). only points for improvement camping bel café spent 25 euros on 3 pizzas and a tiny burger not very nice. They need thin base pizza given small grill used to cook frozen food as had a lot of water under pizza in pizza box centre of pizza cool. Microwave burger not nice. Easy changes bring the standard of food up to the high standard of the camp. Cannot fault any other parts of café staff excellent will be going again next year.
Paula (14 August 2015)

We totally loved our holiday at bel - the campsite was perfect - the location so near the beach, and the town. The accommodation was brilliant - amazingly private and secluded. The pool and all the facilities were great. We just loved it. Will definitiely be back.
Elizabeth from London (14 August 2015)

Very relaxing, all the right mix of ingredients for a wonderful stay,
Alison from London (13 August 2015)

We loved the safari tent, very comfortable. We found bel to be a friendly warm hearted site, perfect do our 5 year old who made lots of friends quickly. The evening movies are great as was the kids club. We thought the pool area was a bit soulless and was too busy for us, but again our 5 year old loved it. We found the frequent return visitors (mentioned in other reviews) to the park and their teenagers to be very friendly a full of local knowledge!
Stephanie from Manchester (12 August 2015)

Lovely campsite and location. Facilities very good for our needs. Only downside is pool is too cold and a bit small for the size of park.
James from Atherstone, Warwickshire (12 August 2015)

Loved this campsite - not too big and felt very family friendly and safe. Nice secluded camping spots and all within easy reach of the shower block. V clean and close to town and supermarket. Highly recommended!
Angela from Woking (11 August 2015)

We had a fantastic time at bel campsite. It is a lovely little parc with a great pool area and lots for the children to do. It is a short walk to a large supermarket and the beautiful beach is also within easy walking distance. The delightful town of la-tranche-sur-mer is a 10 minute walk away, or you can catch the free buses which run every few minutes. Excellent value for money. We will definitely return to bel! :)
Amy from Doncaster (10 August 2015)

Nice small friendly park. The pool is fairly basic and cold. La tranche lacks authentic french feel but the great beaches and pine forests in the area more than made up for this. Cycling is a real pleasure around la tranche as there are many off road routes.
Customer 47 from Cardiff (10 August 2015)

The part overall was really great and the couriers were fantastic as always. the only downside was that the trees were so over grown that we were in constant shade. this made and mobile home dark and at times cold and we did not get any sunshine on the decking.
Lucy (09 August 2015)

A fantastic family-oriented park. Swimming pool was clean, modern, bright well-maintained. The caravan was again clean, couple of bits of equipment missing that needed i.e. No bbq tools (we had the bbq though). highly recommend this park and will be returning.
Lynne (09 August 2015)

Wonderful holiday. Safe, clean park with a fantastic friendly atmosphere.
Lisa (09 August 2015)

Bel is such a great little campsite, the children are safe and the site is very very clean. Facilities make the holiday so enjoyable and everything for the breakfast van and morning bell ringing to the friday night clown show make us want to go back each year.
Dominic from Kettering (08 August 2015)

A brilliant holiday for all the family. Fantastic weather, great local amenities, beach, restaurants. The camp site was excellent and perfect for our two children, who made loads of friends and had a great time.
Timothy from Derby (08 August 2015)

Swimming pool too small and not open long enough hours. One reason I took the holiday was because I like to get up early each morning and go for a swim; the pool did not open until ten am. Tent ok but barbecue did not cook properly and despite speaking to eurocamp people three times there was no solution. Camp layout was good.
Jackson (08 August 2015)

Just arrived back and had a fab fab time. the parc is delightful and the couriers are exceptional. thank you so much. booking again for next year.
Beth from Taunton (08 August 2015)

Great holiday, have been to the area and campsite before so knew what to expect and everything lived up to expectations.
Rhodri (07 August 2015)

Not a site for couples without young children!
Jill from Whitchurch (07 August 2015)

I was not amused but elated when I was shown around my eurocamp tent. Being a sesoned camper I had brought all the neccessities. When the rep showed me around the tent: fridge/freezer; cooker; cooking utensils, dining sets, cutlery, even glass tumblers and wine glasses!! bedrooms with steel frames beds and mattressses, pillows, fleece blankets, storage unit for clothes and clothes rail in the lounge area. When they showed me the bbq I thought brillant at least my fuel lighters will come in handy then the rep said "em its gas". I was amazed and even more so by the on site activities. The reps at camping bel deserve an award for hard work, friendliness and great attitude. See you next year!
Patrick (07 August 2015)

Fantastic holiday, quiet parc with private pitches and very good access to local facilities, town supermarket and beaches.
Peter from West Sussex (07 August 2015)

Fabulous holiday in a fabulous location. Parc was immaculate and all staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Cannot praise it enough.
James (07 August 2015)

The park is lovely, the couriers were friendly and helpful.
Rachel from Plymouth (07 August 2015)

The outside furniture and bbq were filthy on arrival. The recycling box had plastic bottles in . the I pod dock was broken the fan did not work. None of the spoons, forks, knives, glasses or cups matched.i had to clean out one of the gases rings to get it to burn properly. To cap it all on the last day I was given a list of things to do. Ie empty the bins, clean the bbq. The couriers were totally inattentive never asking if we were enjoying the holiday. They replaced the I pod dock but this one had the same problem. Will not do euro amp again.
Peter from Axminster (07 August 2015)

Comfortable tent. Nice area. Close to beach and town.
Michael from Nottingham (06 August 2015)

Bel is a great parc and we will definitely be back next year. Big enough to meet new people all the time but small enough for the children to run free and head off on their own and still feel totally safe. The beach is just a short walk away and the pool on camp is perfect for all ages. The site was very clean and well maintained and the facilities were spotless. We loved it!
Caroline from Taunton (06 August 2015)

This is our 4th year and just love it. So safe for the kids and enough facilities to keep them busy. Town and beach just a short walk away which is full of restaurants and shops
Natasha from Tunbridge Wells (06 August 2015)

You know what you want when you go with eurocamp and that is just what we got. Great time had by all.
Robert from Guildford (05 August 2015)

Great parc, close to the town, the beach and the supermarket. ideal for those with young families or those who want quiet evenings. la tranch sur mer is a delightful town.
Jane from Stratford-Upon-Avon (04 August 2015)

A great location near to a lovely beach. A large supermarket and the small town were a stroll away. We spent most of our time off parc at the beach as the pool was quite cold and the beach was not crowded.
Rachael from Bury St Edmunds (01 August 2015)

Lovely holiday, very friendly park with loads of space for kids to play. Recommended
Matt from Birmingham (01 August 2015)

Fantastic
Customer 69 (31 July 2015)

Great park for young children. Quite park for teenagers a little boring. Pool small and not covered which was a problem with weather. Adult jacuzi is a bottom wash for babies and children. Great location for town and beaches. Body boarding at terriair fantastic.
Neil from Kidderminster (31 July 2015)

Location excellent!!! . pool too small for number of guests. Too cramped at bar and for all entertainment. Not enough sun beds by far!!!. close to beach and super little town!!!
Mark (30 July 2015)

A superb location for families. Site has a great pool, beach within easy walking range & many lovely eating/drinking/shops all within close range. Will definately be back.
Gareth from Sheffield (30 July 2015)

Really good time and felt the kids were safe to walk around on their own
Sharon from Reading (24 July 2015)

This is our 4th year in the vendee having stayed in the same area for 3 years we decided to change location and visit la-tranche -sur mer. It was a wonderful area and great town no regrets it was great base to explore the surrounding area and villages
William from Omagh (23 July 2015)

Excellent campsite- lovely and clean. couriers were super and couldn't have been friendlier.
Belinda from Glasgow (09 July 2015)

This is a great small site very near to the beach and town, however the caravans are not big enough for growing families and we struggled for space
Mandy from Halifax (03 September 2014)

If you can get a good night sleep this is excellent value for money. The weather was a bit mixed but we managed to unwind and enjoy beach days with the family.
Emma (03 September 2014)

Lovely small and friendly campsite. .
Dawn from Ivybridge. Devon (03 September 2014)

We stayed in a safari tent with our 3 girls aged 6-9 years. A great experience, washroom facilities were immaculate at all times of day which was our biggest fear. my only critism of the whole park was the pool was absolutely freezing and their were way too few sun loungers which were 'reserved' with towels. It was great not to need the car for the duration of our stay too.
James from Buckingham (03 September 2014)

Our first time on a eurocamp, stayed in a tent which is well equipped, lovely little park. Close to the beautiful town and beach easy to walk to. Close to the supermarket also within walking distance. Lovely size swimming pool and 2 parks on site for the kids. Recommend and will return again ourselves.
Amy from Kent (01 September 2014)

We had a great holiday, campsite was very clean and friendly. We would go back again and stay.
Kay from Northamptonshire (01 September 2014)

Very noisy location next to a road, aircraft & tents very close
Miranda from Redruth (31 August 2014)

Second time at bel. Lovely quiet site in easy walk of supermarket, beach & la tranche sur mer. Excellent value bike hire - children loved having bikes (without us having hassle of bringing them)! suited to younger children - our eldest (now age 10) feels she will be too old for this site next year
Caroline (31 August 2014)

Bel is central and great as you can park up the car and hop on the bike to go anywhere local. the pitch felt private and not too overlooked, but the caravans are old and therefore poor value for money. not enough bedding supplied for the end of the season. . evening film an added bonus for the kids.
Elizabeth from Guildford (31 August 2014)

Great location - the ability to walk to the beach & restaurants is a bonus
David from Chester (30 August 2014)

Great holiday on lovely park. so handy for the beach and town. The children loved the films every night.
Jo from Noakes (30 August 2014)

Lovely holiday. Very good for children.
Anita from Bishops Stortford (30 August 2014)

Great parc, like the film every evening which seems to give a real focus. Quieter for younger children without being too dull for older ones. Nice pool and bar complex and the bread man in the morning is a nice touch as there is no on site bakery. Easy access to good beaches, cycle tracks and bars/restaurants
Paul from Reading (30 August 2014)

Camping bel is very nice but could do with a few more amenities. there are all the basics, take away fries etc. But there is not a big playground which would be good, the pool is nice but also basic. For the adults there is very limited wifi access which only works when you are in the bar. overall nice campsite without any frills.
Carolyn from Geneva, Switzerland (30 August 2014)

The park is great for families with children under 8 years old. We have two teenagers and whilst we enjoyed the holiday we were completely surrounded by shouting children, crying babies and bicycles and scooters whizzing around. Some tents should be set out away from all the kids facilities to accommodate families with older children.
John from Nottingham (30 August 2014)

Nice enough parc, within 10 minutes walk of the beach and 15 minutes to the small town centre. Unheated outdoor swimming pool was cold mid to end of august and very few of the pitches had any sun on them in the evening - a disappointed which could easily be rectified by the site owners if they took some trees down. The couriers were friendly enough, although the kids club sessions were very slow to get going and a lot of the children seemed bored for the first twenty minutes of each session.
Martin from Horsham (29 August 2014)

We had a group booking of 4 tents and 1 mobile as my daughter was getting married in la tranche. Although we had left the site by the wedding day the new husband arranged for them to stay in a safari tent on their wedding night. The couriers were happy to decorate the tent, arrange food and champagne and leave fresh croissants outside in the morning, they were thrilled. . a huge thank you to jean michel, annick, mark and his team.
Susan from Portland (29 August 2014)

We had a lovely holiday. The area was great quiet, authentic france but plenty to do for families.
Timothy (29 August 2014)

Fabulous! 10 mins from beach, 10 mins from la tranche, other beaches a drive away. Thanks for some great kids memories!
Ella from Northumberland (29 August 2014)

Camping bel is a fantastic campsite for families with young children. They had a wonderful time which made the holiday great for us too. We are even thinking of going back next year!
Karen from Sunbury Upon Thameswe (29 August 2014)

An excellent holiday geared well towards children.
Isaac from Manchester (29 August 2014)

We only stayed for one day and night as we were driving through france to get to roscoff and needed a stop-over that the kids would enjoy. The campsite was very welcoming and the staff and campers were friendly and chilled. My six-year-old son loved the pool which we went to between 5 and 7pm so it was nice and quiet. The safari tent was very nice and great fun for the boys (bunk beds!!). the facilities were spotlessly clean. I don't like camping at all and only chose this for the kids but I would happily have stayed longer. We stayed right at the end of august but it was still very busy in the area. La tranche sur mer is nice but I preferred other areas of france and would definitely try to avoid august next time (although I think this is one of the smaller, quieter sites so it was never manic.) overall this site is really good and excellent for children. Take scooters or bikes!
Anna from Devon (29 August 2014)

Brilliant location friendly staff great camp
Donna from Merthyr Tydfil (29 August 2014)

Loved the parc, the tent and the location. Just needed a little less rain - but even eurocamp cant control that - and most of it was at night, so cant complain really! booking again with eurocamp for next year!
Wesley from Southampton (29 August 2014)

The holiday was thoroughly enjoyed by our four year old son, mainly due to the beaches on the doorstep. The area was fantastic, and the facilities good. With hindsight, we should have requested a quiet pitch, as our caravan was too near the bar and cinema, and we found it too noisy. The caravan itself was due a bit of an upgrade.
Crispin from New Malden (28 August 2014)

Great location - very relaxing
Shaun from Maidstone (28 August 2014)

This was a great holiday for our two grandsons aged 6 and 2. The site was ideal for young children. The fun station was a great hit! sunny weather and a lovely beach within walking distance.
Val from Wrexham (28 August 2014)

Love this parc
Emma from Reading'S (28 August 2014)

Lovely family park. Close to beach and town. Feels very safe to let the kids run free. I love the nightly films, which bring all the children together and they make friends, while I watch from the bar! . eurocamp reps were excellent. Answered any questions, friendly and helpful. . I dont think its a cheap holiday, but I do think its worth the extra for the customer service
Kay from Sheffield (27 August 2014)

Camping bel is a great site for families, the resort of la tranche sur mer is lovely and it is really easy to safely cycle anywhere locally. we all thought it was our best holiday ever.
Andy from Sutton (27 August 2014)

A lovely parc - beautifully landscaped with good facilities. well located close to the beach and walkable into the delightful resort of tranche sur mer. Perfect for young families.
Isabel from Dorset (26 August 2014)

Our second time at camping bel & we will return again
Sam from Gomersal (25 August 2014)

The parc is in a great location for the beach and la tranche sur mer. We had some great lunches there and it was easy to walk back.
Sarah (25 August 2014)

The park is fab - small & friendly which is great for kids & for parents knowing that they are safe. Accom (2 bed classic + bath) is very tired and verging dirty - kids were bitten quite a lot & I think this is to do with the mattresses we were disappointed with the accom & think a overhaul is needed or a real good clean!
Claire (24 August 2014)

The parc was overrun by unsupervised chhildren. They treated the roads as racetracks for their bikes and paid no heed to the presence of cars.two children cut right in front of me and I had to brake hard. I sounded my horn and rude gestures were made at me. Later the camp owner accused me of dangerous driving !!!!!!
John from Chester (24 August 2014)

We stay at bel because of the location. The beach and lovely town are within walking distance and a big supermarket is just down the road. Bikes are essential to take you along the coastal paths to the many lovely beaches.
Janet (24 August 2014)

This is a lovely site, right near the beach. the tent was in a great position and was nice and clean on our arrival. It is a great site for young children with plenty for them to do.
Paul from Kent (23 August 2014)

Excellent holiday. Weather good and camp small and friendly. Very well located - close to beach, town and supermarche!
Nicola from Loughborough (23 August 2014)

Park was small enough to let kids roam free, and was close to beach and town . pool was freezing, nobody stayed in for more than 20 mins. Park needs better tidying up and maintenance. Should have a big screen/ hedge to hide the tents where a the reps sleep. That part looks like a festival site at the end of the weekend. Not reps fault. Overall a nice small park and I can understand repeat visits.
Customer 114 (23 August 2014)

Good holiday, nice destination
Phil from New Forest (23 August 2014)

Enjoyed a lovely holiday with our daughter and grandchildren who were in one of the luxury tents. Lovely part of france to stay.
Gloria from Sheringham (22 August 2014)

An excellently situated within walking distance of a town with plenty of restaurants, a beach and the super u. The site is excellent for primary aged children as it is small and there are plenty of other children to make friends with. The bike hire available at the site is well worth doing as we discovered even better beaches by cycling around the local area. We found the tent very comfortable, especially the beds and it make camping a real pleasure as we were both warm and comfortable!
Mary from Reading (22 August 2014)

This was our second visit to camp bel. It us the location that really sells it having excellent cycle routes and being so close to the village centre and the beach. Hopefully we will be back again next year!
Lynda from Newton Abbot (21 August 2014)

A lovely location and small pard, such shame that the accommodation is very old and tired now as it does not represent value for money. We will not be returning in 2015.
Amanda from Warrington (16 August 2014)

Excellent site, with friendly, helpful staff - both on site and with eurocamp.
Jeremy from Wimborne, Dorset (31 July 2014)

Great park great location. Can't wait to go back.
Nichola (04 September 2013)

The flight was great;the car great, the location very good; the bike rental and the maintenance people pleasant.the site was average with the pool area clean but grossly inadequate. A great area when the sun shines but really lacking for alternatives.
Robert from Haverhill (04 September 2013)

Lovely small family friendly park but unfortunately la tranche has a by pass road which you can hear all night every night. It is a constant drone with mopeds buzzing by as well. It's a real shame as the parc has a curfew which everyone abides by so the parc is basically silent between 10.30 and 7 which means you here the road even more!
Emma from Bury St Edmunds (03 September 2013)

Excellent site close to the beach, everything within walking distance left car undriven for days. Kids cinema every evening fantastic. Bread man every morning on site what more would you want, sun, sea and croissants. Eurocamps information area very useful. First time with eurocamps very happy.
Helen from London (02 September 2013)

Lovely small campsite perfect for young families. Great location being close to the beach and town too!
Maxime from Bournemouth (01 September 2013)

We travelled with our 2 children (5 and 7) and all loved this parc - so much so that we are goping back next year. its small, very firendly and close to the beach and supermarket. . . we had great weather so spent a few days on the local beaches - there are a few to choose from, which are all quite different in terms of how busy they are and the activities available. We also explored the local area and had a day in la rochelle which is highly recommended. . this parc doesn't have evening discos etc, which was great for us as just walking into town or having a bbq at the tent whilst sampling the wine was more than enough. there is a kids film on each evening, ours went to this a couple of times and loved watching a film outside. . all in all a great fmaily holiday with enough to keep all entertained as long as don't mind venturing off the parc. .
Kevin (01 September 2013)

We thought the location was excellent, everything within easy reach, eg beach, supermarket, town centre. However we found that the road surrounding the parc was quite noisy in the early hours of the morning with cars and motorbikes revving.
Maria from Luton (01 September 2013)

We wouldn't go back; we like the area and location of the park, but the accomodation was not only basic, but old, smelled quite bad and not up to scratch. I also had no room to park my car and the couriers could be given a lesson in customer relations
Paul from Bleadney (31 August 2013)

Very pleasant site and good time
Huw (31 August 2013)

A very well placed site for the beaches and the town. The pitches were very small. Once the car was parked there was no space for play or to use the loungers. . the accommodation was a bit tired compared to other keycamp caravans we have stayed in.
Alison from Fleet, Hampshire (30 August 2013)

Last year we went to the isle de re and had a fabulous time. we were too late too book there this year and decided on bel hoping to do more cycling. however this is limited compared to the isle de re and the site was much more cramped with less free activities for older children (e.g. Badminton and soft ball courts had to be paid for).
Susan from Devizes (30 August 2013)

Bel is a great little parc, very handy for the beach, town and supermarket. The site itself is friendly and well laid out with good attention to privacy. A nice pool area and the outdoor films were really popular in the evening. Very reasonable cycle hire, james was really helpful.
Allyson from Falmouth, Cornwall (30 August 2013)

Lovely camp, very clean and good facilities.
Nicole (29 August 2013)

Great parc with plenty for the kids to do, great nightly entertainment - very well maintained and cleaned regularly - the girl who did our booking was very professional, the couriers were noticeable by their absence. Overall a fantastic holiday.
Steve from Ware (29 August 2013)

A wonderful holiday - lovely, small campsite, perfect for families with young children - with good facilities (especially for children) and close to the beach. Our son made lots and lots of new friends - he's going to be a very busy pen pal..
Hannah from St Albans (28 August 2013)

Great family park, close to the beach, the town and supermarket/ restaurants.
Jonathan from Burnley (28 August 2013)

Parc very good for families with small children and quiet at night only one incident where some people were making a noise and they stopped when asked. Pool a little small for adults and the parking spaces in front of the caravans is inssufficent also a health and safety issue with the cooker when the oven was on you could not touch the knobs for the gas rings as they got so hot they would burn you
Robert (28 August 2013)

This was our 3rd visit to bel and as ever it was excellent. Well maintained, clean nd friendly site close to beach and la tranche.
Confirmed Holidaymaker (27 August 2013)

Excellent park facilities, just right for a young family (and very clean). friendly atmosphere. Most parents stuck to the curfew (shame about the rest as it made getting young children to sleep harder than neccesary). overall a great holiday and would recommend this park to anyone.
William from Whitchurch, Shropshire (27 August 2013)

5th visit to this park in as many years, found it to be refreshed and clean as it is every year. the feel of the park is very much suited to families with younger children and our older children continued to enjoy their company. safari tent was superb, huge, spacious and well furnished and evoked an "out of africa" feel to our holiday. the eurocamp rep who met us continued to be very diligent and helpful throughout our stay, however his colleagues were far less inspiring. my son became ill over a weekend and those on shift knew little of doctor services and how to access them, there is no information anywhere within euro/keycamp on how to access medical help and it fell to the ever helpful camp owners to assist us. that said, they were courteous. we have decided to book independently in future and will take our own caravan, but we have enjoyed our time with you very much.
Kevin from Stamford (27 August 2013)

Overall a good holiday, but spoilt by a number of little things, like lack of courier interest and poor/ tired accommodation.
Guy from Broadstairs (26 August 2013)

Great location. Small site. Great entertainment for kids. Slight lack of open space on the site if anything.
Ben from Derby (26 August 2013)

A great holiday. this was our second visit to la tranche and it lived up to our expectations.
John from Southampton (25 August 2013)

This year's mobilehome was disappointing but the overall holiday was brilliant
Martin from Cambridge (24 August 2013)

A lovely family campsite. Peaceful, safe and quiet. Perfect for those with a young family. Our children especially loved the pool and the open air cinema each night :-)
Janine from Yorkshire (24 August 2013)

We have 3 kids aged 8, 5 and 2 and the parc was perfect for them. Safe, secure, small enough to find them easily and big enough for them to explore. We took bikes and didn't use the car for the whole 2 weeks. We'll definitely be returning.
Tim from Bucks (24 August 2013)

This was to be a quiet stop over for a few days on our way home, but turned out to be a brilliant experience in its own right !!
Mike from Oxford (23 August 2013)

This was our 4th stay on this park so we knew what to expect. It's perfect for a relaxing holiday with young children.
Lynn from Leeds (23 August 2013)

Great holiday, wonderful beaches and local area.
Sarah from Hove (23 August 2013)

Great holiday park, great location, definately recommend la terriere beach as the waves are amazing and the indian forest is a great day out! a bit more entertainment in the evenings for the kids would of been a bonus. The only downfall was that we had to park our car outside the campsite the night before we were coming home as the gates are locked overnight which was a real pain at 4am carrying 2 young children and luggage through the campsite.
