Excellent site, brilliant safari park.
John from Andover (13 September 2015)

Beekse bergen is a fantastic site for you children. The indoor pool complex was brilliant for the kids. The boat and train to the safari park and speelland were a great addition and always punctual. The highlight was definitely the extra card which gave us free unlimited entry to the safari park and speelland which meant we barely spent a penny while there. Happy parents and happy kids!
Jenny from Solihull (13 September 2015)

Fantastic
Brian (11 September 2015)

Great shame about the weather, was rather cold and wet but you can't help that. however we enjoyed ourselves
Janet from Romford (09 September 2015)

Parc very well organised. Upon arriving at reception to leaving, absolutely no problems or issues. Facilities for camping 1st rate, tent and equipment in 1st class order, park location and surrounding exceptional...with safari parc and speeland access included.. all in all a very enjoyable short family break that has had us looking at booking again for next year. Highly recommended.!
Dd from East Yorkshire (08 September 2015)

Fantastic value for money and so much to do with the children of all ages. We will be booking up again for next year.
Nicola from Kent (07 September 2015)

The park is a good place for a family with the theme park and zoo on the door step. We walked around the zoo then a few days later drove through the zoo. A well laid out zoo for the animals. Tilburg and bosch parking fees are expensive at 2.5 euros per hour. The small towns are pretty and have free parking and a visit to the loop op zands is a must.
Sandra from Huddersfield (07 September 2015)

Brilliant site, great facilities
Maggie from Harrogate (05 September 2015)

We had a great 5 night break at beekse bergen. We stayed in a safari tent and this was perfectly sized for a family of 4 with all the amenities we would expect. The full size fridge with a good sized freezer compartment was extremely useful as was the electric heater which came in handy during the chillier evenings! the tents were all together but we didn't feel too overlooked or too close to our neighbours. The shower block was very close by as well. The shower block was ok, the bonus was plenty of hot water in fairly powerful showers but the only downside was the shower block was cleaned in the morning so by the evening they were pretty dirty and the floor was disgusting so I am glad we took flip flops with us. The site itself was huge but the main facilities were all fairly close to the eurocamp section, an easy 5 minute walk. The swimming pool was clean and a good size. There was a good baby pool with lots of little slides and things for little ones to play with and 2 other pools with a water slides and little lazy river section. Young children are made to wear arm bands and these are all provided. Lockers need a 50 cent coin and there are free hair dryers in the changing rooms. I would advise anyone visiting beekse bergen to bring a dutch phrase book as everything is in dutch with no english translations provided which at times was very difficult. It would have been helpful if the welcome pack had been in english as there was pages of information that we had to decipher to work out what it was all about. The 2 eurocamp reps were pleasant but I would be interested to know what training they had had as when I went to ask them a question about getting to the safari park they couldn't help me at all and in fact the information she gave me about getting to the park turned out to be totally wrong. In the end we gave up and did our best to work it out for ourselves. . the best perk of the holiday has to be the attraction card you are given on arrival which gives you free entry to numerous attractions in the area including the main safari park, speeland out door water park, sportiom swimming complex and dierenrijks childrens zoo. All of these we visited and they were all exceptionally good and the free entry made them even better!. to sum up I would highly recommend anyone to visit beekse bergen with eurocamp but I would consider a caravan if you are not an avid camper and I would hope in the future the reps are given training about the site they are working at and the local area as well as giving welcome information in english.
Georgina from Beverley (05 September 2015)

Just returned from a week here, the site is lovely with lots to do. The accommodation was clean and well equipped. We had a lovely family holiday and will be returning
Laura (05 September 2015)

We spent a short time here, principally for our granddaughter to visit the safari park. We also went to breda, which is well worth the time.
Neil from Beverley (04 September 2015)

Fantastic parc
Michael (02 September 2015)

Lovely parc with enough to do for everyone. Would highly recommend. We stayed it a safari tent which the kids enjoyed but found that 4 nights was just enough. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay & will be back..
Eddie from Wakefield (31 August 2015)

Excellent park with loads to do
Heather from Bordon (31 August 2015)

Loved the safari tents and the campsite, but the mattresses were stained, which there is no need for
Julie from Manchester (31 August 2015)

Accommodation could've been cleaned to a better standard - quite a few cobwebs and squashed insects on the walls. Euro camp site staff not very welcoming.
Paul (30 August 2015)

We had the best family holiday with two girls aged 7 and 5. The pass which allows entry to the safari park and speeland was excellent value. We also visited sportium pool, a short drive away. We ate our evening meal in tilburg usually, just a few km away. Also shopped at local jumbo supermarket. The park felt spacious and relaxed. It was nice oarking next to your tent or mobile home. Plentiful playgrounds for youngsters and a good on site swimming pool. We enjoyed catching the boat across to speeland, where there was lots of free activities and fun rides next to a 'beach' area. The eurocamp couriers were very helpful and pleasant.
Alison from Near Leeds (30 August 2015)

A brilliant place to take the whole family
Stephen (30 August 2015)

What a gem!!!!! one of the best places I have ever been on holiday! so much more to this site than you expect
Lia from Caerphilly (28 August 2015)

An excellent campsite for families with younger children. Loads to do we only stayed 4 nights but found we did not move our car at all as there was so much to see and do. The price included all the entrances in speelland and the animal park which really made the deal even better.
Bob from Maidstone (26 August 2015)

Fantastic holiday would go back next year. Brilliant price and brilliant parc. Has everything for a family.
Samantha from Newport Gwnet (25 August 2015)

Lovely site and couriers were very helpful. Stayed several times and would recommend this site.
Ann from Keighley (22 August 2015)

Parc itself was excellent, friendly staff, great facilities, bigger than we imagined and as we holidayed without a car, it proved difficult to get around, so I would suggest bringing a car. The kids loved it we could have stayed for longer and would not have been bored.
Stephen from Yorkshire (20 August 2015)

Great, great place to go with children (teens and toddlers). we had good time in beekse bergen, the staff were very friendly always willing to help despite the language barrier and all information written in dutch. . we will go again as there is a lot to do for all, it is just a shame that eurocamp doesn't advertise this parc better on their website in particular the activities and the safari parc. (plan ahead for long walk with plenty of spot to stop with little ones). an example of a day at beekse bergen:. -bus from the afrika club to safari parc at 10.00am, prepared lunch, drink, suncream.. and return with the tractor/train to the accommodation. -boat from afrika club to funland- plenty of activities in lake (bucket and spade, floats, towels, bikini, snacks and plenty more). -back home for a bbq and feet up with a book or football with the neighbour for the boys. . I would definitely recommend this place because of its tranquility and the fact that all activities are away and easy transportation even without the bike. . so far both places (duinrell and beekse bergen) have been really successful with my family. I hope the one booked for france (loire-pierrefitte) will be a success too. . p.s: mosquito cream must be part of the medicine box. .
Nono from Warlingham (14 August 2015)

It was a great holiday, although we got bitten a lot by horse flies!. this wasn't helped by 2 of the bedroom window nets being broken! we told the couriers, but aside from sympathising, they did nothing to get it fixed. My kids suffered particularly badly from being bitten at night, which could have been avoided if the nets had been in working order. The couriers were polite & helpful in all other ways, but lacked the local knowledge we benefitted from last year at koningshof. We found dan last year to be incredibly helpful & knowledgable, in regard to places to visit & restaurants to eat in. Whatever advice we asked him for, nothing was too much trouble & he always found out the info we needed. this kind of info was a bit lacking at the sites we visited this year, but never the less we really enjoyed our holiday.
Antonia from High Peak (14 August 2015)

The big win was the nearby safari parc which was very enjoyable and with free access! the lake is pleasant and, as we had good weather, was ideal to swim in; however the swimming pool was woefully inadequate for the size of park and would have been an issue had the weather been bad.
Stuart from Huddersfield (14 August 2015)

Had a brilliant 5 night stay and wished we had longer. The eurocamp area of the park was difficult to find at first due to the small signs and we ran out of gas on the second day (which was rapidly replaced by the rep) but apart from that everything was perfect. . we stayed in a vista home and it was big enough for our 2 children (3 and 5). it was great to have a fridge and oven for making sure we didn't spend all our money in the superb restaurant on site!. the site mainly had a large dutch presence but there were mostly british families in the eurocamp area so the children all played together and had a see-saw and climbing frame within sight of the house. The dutch and german families we met were all very friendly too and there was a nice atmosphere on the park. . our children lived being able to go to the safari park and the speelland park next to the site. We also went out for a day to efteling which is a fairytale theme park about 25 minutes drive away and was perfect for our 2 even though the characters spoke dutch and the children didn't understand! the story signs were in english and most staff spoke multiple languages which helped us a lot!. the children are already asking to go again and want to go back to holland too.
Michael from Milton Keynes (12 August 2015)

Overall fantastic. . would be helpful if signs on the notice board etc were in english also however this wasn't a stumbling block to getting about and finding out what was going on as all staff spoke very good english.
Matt from London (10 August 2015)

Fantastic park for families with children.
Kayleigh (08 August 2015)

Very enjoyable holiday cycling within and beyond the holiday park. So much for children to do, but they seem to have the most fun just playing together as the spacious park design really helps them to play. Excellent weather meant we could try out any activity and travel around on cycles which can be easily hired in the park.
Stephen (07 August 2015)

The park itself is very nice. You could easily spend a week there without having to leave. The shop is well stocked, the restaurant is good and caters for everyone, and the facilities are excellent; stay for over 3 days and you have free access to the safari park and adventure park for the duration of your stay.
Chris from Dereham (07 August 2015)

The parc was very good, lots to do and clean, great fun. The accom. Was fair the rep's onsite never had enough time for anything always too busy and the hut they had was not very welcoming, the accom was only just ok, buster wall sockets, broken shower fittings, rusting radiators, dirty umberalla's and patio furniture etc. Could be more welcoming. The extra's pack purchased had to be asked for.
Sandra from Farnborough (05 August 2015)

The only complaint is the bed was so hard and un comfortable, they used to be bad and for years we brought memory foam topper with us then new caravans and beds where not to bad but this time very uncomfortable, other than that great as allways.
Suzanne from Isle Of Man (03 August 2015)

Quite a confusion to get onto the parc if you arrive late in the day. But the facilities are excellent, lots of space and play areas for the kids, the safari park and adventure land are absolutely superb
Neil (30 July 2015)

We only stayed one night as a stopover but loved it. The campsite itself was great with lots to do especially for our 3 and 5 year old. the safari park was brilliant and well worth a visit. The only downside was really loud music and commentary of a bouncy castle volleyball match until after 10pm but can see this would have been really exciting for older children and teenagers.
Rachel from Alford, Lincolnshire (25 July 2015)

Eurocamp itself were great all round, maybe some more local info from eurocamp couriers instead of only dutch info available from main reception. We did have long delays wityh a toddler on our ferry retrun home too which wasnt ideal but this was the fault of pano rather than eurocamp
Customer 36 (23 July 2015)

We had the most awesome time at beekse bergen. I would definitely go back as the children were so busy and had a great time. speeland and the safari park is brilliant too and fantastic having these things on hand for entertaining the children. it was also very peaceful at the caravan in the quiet woodland location. our rep chloe was such a bubbly person and nothing was a problem to her. the few items we did need help with chloe responded straight away with a cheerful manner. we did have a wee hiccup as we suffered a theft from our car and chloe was so sympathetic and helpful with getting help from security.
Moira from Craigrothie (18 July 2015)

We enjoyed our second stay on the beekse bergen campsite with eurocamp. We stayed with our 3 and 6 year old in one of the new avant mobile homes. the mobile home home was clean and a step up from the older vista vans on the site. what we really like is the site - although it is huge, it is very peaceful, and relaxing with all the trees and green spaces. our kids loved playing by the lakeside. also the indoor pool complex is clean, well organised and the kids loved the pools and flume. having entry tickets to spelland and the safari park is a great benefit as you can pop in and do short visits as often as you like. . . our only complaint was that the couriers could have been better, they did not seem to know the region well and offered no suggestions about where to visit or where to find good supermarkets etc so it was lucky that we had been before and knew where to go!
Caroline from Aberdeen (17 July 2015)

Fantastic parc, great facilities. So much to do! the extra card was brilliant. . our children aged 3 & 5 absolutely loved it. Would reccomend it to anyone.
Cerian (11 July 2015)

The couriers were hopeless, had only just arrived on site themselves and knew absolutely nothing about the site, the area or the country they were in. we arrived late (well 7.00pm) due to the delays on eurotunnel to find the reception shut at 5.00pm, there was no way into the site by car and no human beings in sight. We phoned the courier who cycled to meet us but she also had no way of getting a car through the barrier. eventually she realised she had to call site security who kindly signed us in and gave us the relevant passes to get in and out of the camp. we got to our mobile home just before 8.00pm. we were tired and hungry and needed a meal. however the courier informed us that the restaurant shut for meals at 8.00pm and she had no idea where there were any other restaurants in the area who would be open to serve food "that late"!! however, determined to get a meal somehow we dumped our luggage and drove back to the parc restaurant. We begged the staff to find a something hot to eat and they eventually came out with some fish and chips and saved the day.
Janet from Stroud (10 July 2015)

Good place for famillies.plenty to do on site.situation of eurocamp is good space for children toenjoy.
Dorothy from Co Durham (05 July 2015)

Was a really lovely holiday , even tho we had to find out a lot of information about how to get to places by ourselves and other guests.
Chris from Buckley (04 July 2015)

Wonderful
Nichola from Manchester (02 July 2015)

This site is amazing for families, with so much to do with your extra card and all set around the beautiful lake. The children loved the little train to get you from a to b and the boat across the lake to the lakeside waterpark/fun park. We love the safari tents which offer spacious outdoorsy living with all the little comforts too. Beekse bergen is like no place we have visited before, where else in europe can you listen to the roar of lions whilst lying in bed?!
Amanda from Stockport (01 July 2015)

We probably chose the wrong campsite..beekse bergen is an enormous site and probably not for retired people like us. on various occasions they tried to close the bar/restaurant at 9 pm. Even though it was light enough (june) to enjoy the evening sun over the water. we have been on eurocamp holidays almost every year for the past 30 years but this was not our best!
Yvonne (28 June 2015)

Park scored down as a little tired and waited ages for restaurant to open when it was supposed to but it didn't open
Gillian from Musselburgh (22 June 2015)

Very bad experience, stayed while best kept secret festival was on. Had been warned that would be some noise disturbance until approx 1am which we were fine with. However after the concert finished there was an open air disco that went on until almost 5am and the music was very loud. We had to leave at 7am that morning to catch a ferry so needless to say no-one got a lot of sleep. This was not advertised on the website, had we know there was also going to be an open air disco till that time, we wouldn't have stayed there!! never again
Confirmed Holidaymaker (20 June 2015)

We had a lovely time at beekse bergen, hilvarenbeek. the holiday park was in a beautiful, spacious, wooded setting on a lake. The swimming pool was a short distance from the chalet and there were plentiful childrens' play areas dotted about the campsite. A big added bonus was the 'extracard' included in our booking which permitted unlimited access to the nearby safari park and beach front play land (speelland) as well as other attractions owned by the same company-libema. In addition the whole site had a safari theme and onsite 'rangers' provided regular entertainment for the children.the wide range of activities onsite or nearby made for a very easy and relaxed holiday for us and a fun filled week for the children. The only let down was the couriers who appeared very young, inexperienced and unenthusiastic. Luckily the camp staff were very helpful throughout particularly in the reception area. All camp staff spoke english.
Bryony (20 June 2015)

We turned up at reception and collected our pack fine although it wasnt in english. We was told where to go to get to euro camp but that was badly sign posted and noone was around. We waited about ten mins and still nothing. We decided to go get lunch and go back after to check into our tent. The shop on site closes for an hour at lunch time which ok is fair enough but then it closes at 5pm.. the restaurant is very expensive and the take away place next door has the same menu so again no cheaper. Theres lidl and jumbo supermarkets 5-10 mins outside. . the safari park itself was brilliant, the drive through is good and highly recommend putting leaves on your windscreen for the giraffes. . theres no entertainment of an evening on campsite and children dip out if their not dutch. My 3 got bored after 6pm due to nothing happening in the evenings. . we had 3 reps for euro camp two girls and a lad. Everyday was a chore for this lad, no eye contact or anything from him. He would walk around with his back pack and headphones on alday. He said he hates his job and this was his first and last euro camp. . we stayed for a week and that week was long enough. Due to it being expensive on campsite and nothing much to do. Unless you want to drive miles to places. we wouldnt go back there, once is enough.
Sian (19 June 2015)

Used this park as a stop-over. A very large park. Good for families with kids. We liked the afrika klub restaurant. Good value meals.
Carey from Houghton-Le-Spring (18 June 2015)

Beautiful spacious park.liked the new avant but more storage space needed in kitchen.items of equipment missing.trees bang on roof of mobile home.
Monica from Tewkesbury (17 June 2015)

Excellent holiday. Only drawback was the fact that all the safari park information was in dutch.
Brian from Bournemouth (07 June 2015)

A very unique park
Lynne (01 June 2015)

A great site, there is lots to do and the dutch staff are very helpful. Only thing that could be improved on, all the guides given to us by eurocamp regards the part facilities was in dutch!!! also check in information needs to be clearer--- once you find reception the beekse bergen staff are extremely helpful. My kids (primary age) had a blast. Teenage kids not so sure enough for them to do!!
Joanna from Surrey (31 May 2015)

The place was great lots of parks for the kids and loads of speed bumps to ensure slow moving traffic so the kids could ride their bikes without me worrying.
Samantha (30 May 2015)

We had an absolutely brilliant holiday. This was our first eurocamp experience. . the setting is lovely our kids loved playing in the woods and exploring the many play areas. The park is also great for cycling and feeding the ducks/geese. . the pool was clean and safe. There is great slides and a brilliant kids area. . the transport to speeland and beekse bergen safari was regular and reliable. The safari park was fantastic. We did the boat, car and walking safari. . . speeland is excellent for all kids. The water slides were only open when the sun shines but everything else was open and there is lots to fill your days. . we also visited sportion (aqua fun pool) using the extra pass. It's well worth a visit too. . the eftling theme park is also brilliant - not included in the extra pass but again worth away out. . all in all a gray family holiday and we are already planning our return.
Claire (30 May 2015)

Great holiday, camp-site was clean and tidy and the staff were helpful. The children really enjoyed safari-park and it was good value for money being included in the price of the holiday. We were a bit disappointed with spelland, don't know if it was the weather or because it wasn't the dutch school holiday but it was only part open so no water slides, food outlets were closed, gift shop closed
Stuart (29 May 2015)

A great place to visit the children loved it.
Sally-Ann from Huddersfield (29 May 2015)

Only stayed 1 night but a great way to finish our holiday. Lovely spacious park and the safari experience was fantastic
Martin from Tonbridge (29 May 2015)

A great park for children with young children if staying for 3 nights or more. included in your stay is admission to theme / amusement park / beach which is great for young children and also the safari park which is excellent. . huge parc and I mean huge. plenty of space to explore whether by foot, bike, car or boat. would recommend the location as a great place to stay as the parc has so much to offer. the facilities on offer are great and cater for all families. only negative is the swimming pool. given the size of the parc, the swimming pool needs to be bigger to accommodate the number of guests staying on site. this does let the parc down. . we stayed in a safari tent which was clean and tidy and had lots of space. downside is the noise from neighbouring pitches. I appreciate you are staying in a tent but really didn't expect soo much noise so late into the night from others staying. would only stay again but in a mobile home if this would help?. . wasn't the best courier. whilst I don't like to be bothered by couriers too much when staying, the courier didn't offer any good tips or share basic knowledge about the parc i.e. Opening hours, good things to do etc. . good location with lots of amenities nearby including well stocked supermarkets for stocking up for your stay. that being said, the on site supermarket offers a great choice, just be prepared to pay slightly higher prices. . .
Benjamin from Kent (26 May 2015)

Fantastic holiday for us and our 3 year old daughter. So much to do and see, we really did make special family memories :)
Lucy (23 May 2015)

Totally enjoyed the holiday again, been here before and definitely will come back again, loads of things to do, you need to buy a parking badge if you wish to parc in the towns where there's a blue line on the parking space, various outlets sell them I bought mine for 33cents
Mark from Scunthorpe (23 May 2015)

Safari park and other attractions are great for kids.
Kieran from Edinburgh (23 May 2015)

We had a fantastic holiday and will be returning next year. It is a peaceful park will a beautiful setting.
Adele from Weymouth (22 May 2015)

Had a great time at beekse bergen, went there last year and had to go back. the campsite was very peaceful, safari park was amazing (got very close to some beautiful animals), would definitely recommend it to anyone.
Derek from Washington (18 May 2015)

An all round satisfying holiday. The staff were friendly, the facilities well kept and good. The park was jam-packed with stuff for my children to do. They had a wonderful time, as did i.
Justin from London (18 May 2015)

I am glad I read dutch as not so easy to figure out the timetables to get to the safari park - I think the park itself could make it easier to figure out even for dutch speakers on how to get there on their land train to avoid the car parking charges. . loved the tent, huge hit with kids, first experience of safari tents. . don't expect speelland to be fantastic for over 12s and really best on a hot and sunny day due to lake slides. . get all kids out of car at main reception to get photos taken for passes which cover entry to speelland, use of boat and land train and safari park entry.
Bernadette from Brussels (17 May 2015)

Lovely site. Safari park excellent. Facilities on site a little disappointing. Esp restaurant very poor service and food not worth waiting for
Suzanne (08 May 2015)

Fantastic. A top 10 for us. As we stayed for 4 nights we had free entry to the lovely safari park with free boat rides across the park lake and around the safari park plus free bus connections to and from the huge childrens play area and the safari park.we did not need the car apart from being lazy on the short drive to the well stocked on site supermarket. Great on site restuarant with lovely sun set views across the lake. Planning to return with our grandaughter and her parents.
Mark from Deal (22 April 2015)

Hesitating to say just how much we loved our holiday here, just in case we can't get booked in again next year! outstanding value for money if you visit the safari park and beach play area (we alternated between the two). weather was great but on the one overcast day we visited efteling which was as good as any uk theme park for children similar to ours (age 6 & 8) and wasn't too expensive considering we usually stay near paris and spend a day in disney which costs much more. Our accommodation was perfect, the eurocamp section had it's own mini playground but there were play areas dotted all over the park. The shop was well stocked and offered lots of fresh produce and beer (not such a great assortment of wine). the pool areas were clean and life guards in attendance. Easy enough drive from the tunnel although a little m25'ish in places but no tolls (unlike a run through france!). there was a change in rep whilst we were there so we didn't really have any contact with them apart from arrival/departure but then we didn't have any queries/issues while we were there. I have never had such a happy family as on this trip and everyone has asked to go back next year. Thank you eurocamp.
Melanie from Tunbridge Wells (20 April 2015)

Tony was excellent making time for his guests and most helpful great stay only let down was when we missed shuttle bus and had to walk back to our accommodation
Karl from Hythe (15 April 2015)

What an amazing camp site. Weather was very poor. Wind, rain, hail mini tornado. Trees and tents down. But the euro camp staff and site staff + facilities more than made up for this. Would rave about this site
J.L (05 April 2015)

I wanted a base for a ww2 commemoration event and chose this eurocamp parc having stayed in safari tents in two different parcs earlier this year and really enjoyed them. The parc itself was ok although it was a bit tired looking. I didn't use any of the facilities so can't comment on them. The safari tents were in regimental rows with no outlook and the one we stayed in had been well used. The place was ok for what we wanted but I wouldn't go back.
Christopher from Newcastle Upon Tyne (15 September 2014)

Nice park with plenty to do.
Bryan from Rotherham (14 September 2014)

This was a wonderful break and came after several great mini holidays this year in france and spain but I think this was our favourite. a few things (e.g. The watersport activities) had closed by september, but these weren't a major disappointment
Peter from Hampshire (14 September 2014)

Lovely camp with helpful eurocamp couriers. . be aware that if your dutch is poor then this camp can be a little difficult. all the signs are in dutch and when we arrived on camp when ended up on in the safari park car park and not the campsite. we were not the only ones to do this. . the main concern about this camp is your can only take one car onto the camp. therefore if you are two families sharing, as we were then only one car is allowed on site while the other will have to park in the car park just outside the camp. it is a long distance to the eurocamp area of the park, therefore a lot of back and forth of loading cars then going back to collect others. . speelland was great for our kids, although when we arrived on friday it did appear closed, as none of the food outlets were open, however on the saturday everything was open. this was due yo it being the end of the season. . we did not go to the safari park as we did not get free entry due to only being on site for two nights. it did look go however. . safari tent was fine. probably would rather not have one again with two young children, due to limited space and having to walk them to toilet block. I would think it was not an enjoyable experience if it was wet and cold. . after all that, I would say this is a great park and we are planning to book again for next year and to stay longer. . our main reason for staying here was to get a little closer to calais from duinrell. it is only 30 minutes closer but it does make a difference. . overall great camp and eurocamp staff very friendly and prompt at sorting any problems. .
Anthony (07 September 2014)

The campsite was excellent with great facilities and very good attractions adjoined. However static home which appeared clean at first was in fact quite dirty and with quite a few gnats. Couriers had poor paperwork sent to them as well although they were very pleasant and helpfull. Not sure if the issues were down to tbe recent takeover from keycamp or not
Terry from Cambridge (07 September 2014)

My son ask why no tv ?
John from Bagshot (06 September 2014)

We had great time, beautiful place with so much to offer!!! very clean accommodation, can not find any fault.
Customer 79 from Bury St Edmunds (05 September 2014)

A lovely parc, with a fabulous safari parc nearby. however, the loud dance music on some afternoons/evenings/nights does spoil the atmosphere.
Catherine from Cambridge (03 September 2014)

An excellent parc with good facilities. Swimming pool excellent for the children. Accomodation well positioned on the camp. Will definately go to this parc again in the future.
Brian from Essex (02 September 2014)

We really enjoyed our stay and thought it was excellent value for money.
Lorraine (02 September 2014)

We went for a week with our 2 year old and 5 year old. We had disappointing weather to start with and our path to the tent became very muddy. The safari tent was perfect for us and we enjoyed feeding the ducks breakfast every morning. The park was huge but quiet, apart from 2 nights when the event centre had loud music until about 10 pm. The swimming pool was brilliant especially for our 2 year old. Speelland and the safari park were also brilliant and exceptional value given the unlimited access with the park tickets. All in all an excellent family holiday which I would really recommend.
Deniece (01 September 2014)

We spent 3 nights at this site and then went on to spend 7 nights in jura. we enjoyed this site much more as it suited our aims of an active holiday seeing the safari park which is excellent very well. bernie the courier was an absolute gem and a total contrast the couriers at the 2nd site. the weather was uncharacteristically cool and rainy but we had a great time anyway with cycling the dutch bikes and the safari park. the cycle ways are so flat our 5 year old daughter managed over 30km one day on her hire bike from the site. very helpful site staff too.
Philip from Sevenoaks (31 August 2014)

I would not recommend this parc as you can not possible walk from accomadation side to attraction side, spent most of my time waiting for transport, indoor pool was good but couldnt imagine being in their if busy, on site restaurant was expensive but the take away/cafe was reasonable. Could not fill a week going to the on site attractions every day. A small park area in the middle of eurocamp accomodation would be perfect.
Patrick from West Midlands (30 August 2014)

Great for kids aged 5 - 11
Customer 86 (30 August 2014)

Weather a bit poor. Nice pool for young children but did not visit safari park or speeland so cannot comment.
Jeremy from Coventry (30 August 2014)

The camp site was very muddy as a result of a dance festival they hosted for 60,000 people the previous weekend.we would have preferred a larger type of accommodation as there was not a lot of space to move about and as the weather was poor we did not sit out on the decking. A 3 bedroom 2 bathroom would have suited us better.
John from Durham (28 August 2014)

The safari tent was pretty much as expected, with requested extras provided and the courier bernie was pleasant. The site was disappointing; the children's play areas were sparse and in need of painting; roads flooded and washed with mud and no attempt to clear made; road outside tent was just a mud path. Tents are next to resident caravan area; had one really bad night of noise. However, shop was well stocked and the shower facilities kept clean. Huge plus was free access to safari etc next door to the site. . overall would not recommend this site based on what we paid, it wasn't worth it.
Spencer (28 August 2014)

Lovely safari tent, parc not quite as it was put on the website. Eurocamp couriers helpful.not bad value for money. But we would not choose to go there again.
John from Devon (27 August 2014)

An excellent park for families. Great value for money due to the 5 places you can enter for free with your big 5 card.
Christopher (20 August 2014)

As well as the usual swimming pools and slides, this spacious and verdant parc also boasted a safari park (which you can drive round, walk round, get a bus round or a boat - all for free!) and a great play park for youngsters (also free) accessed most easily via the free boat across the beautiful lake. as a result, possibly the best pard ever!
Steve from Wrotham (15 August 2014)

Not safe after 4day because of the rock festival e
Janet (15 August 2014)

Excellent site for young children.
David from Leeds (15 August 2014)

Love this park its great for under 12's not so much to do for older kids. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back.
Bree from Essex (14 August 2014)

If you love animals =great parc - great for children up to 12 years... not much for teenagers- clean, large but spacious - the 3 rather large on site permanant residential communities are not mentioned and are not featured on the map - eurocamp area bang next to one of them .....
Liz from Ashford (13 August 2014)

Excellent holiday!
Douglas (09 August 2014)

A great place if you have children under a the age of 10 and intend to spend your whole time on the park or visiting the safari/speeland, and if the weather is nice. Otherwise, we would recommend staying in northern holland or somewhere else! the 'beaches' are not long strips but very small coves on the lake. we found excrement all over one, not certain if it was human or dog! head for the little beach next to the 'yachthaven'. spelland is a very dated and (on sunny days) incredibly busy water park aimed at under 10's? we found the area of southern holland disappointing and spent most of our time travelling to belgium and german border to find interesting things to do with a teenager. There is no such thing as 'dutch cuisine'! mostly fast/junk food outlets in the local towns. We wouldn't recommend the restaurant on the park, although the on site supermarket is well stocked if you want to cook, but think 'one pot' meals and salads as the cooker and grill are everything is in dutch, although the staff on site speak english and are willing to help. if you don't speak dutch we strongly recommend that you get a phrase book to decipher signs and menus. also, watch out if you are driving around the site as bikes/pedestrians have priority and they will just step/ride in front of you, sometimes out of nowhere!. there was a lot of noise at night (on one occasion from 10pm until 2am) from the private residents on the park who like to party. The 'vacantia park' residents in the tents opposite were mostly local dutch families with (lots of) small children. Our safari tent was good, with the washing/toilet block not too far away. these facilities were clean but basic. safari tents 1&2 are situated on pitches that are less prone to flooding, but if you want a little more quiet, we would recommend the tents on the row behind, which face a wooded play area and the eurocamp vista caravans. . as a camping experience, it was okay.
Steven from Uk (09 August 2014)

People may think a self catering holiday with eurocamp is expensive but we enjoyed stand can highly recommend this parc
Sarah from Preston (08 August 2014)

Ok overall. The park was clean and well maintained, however the facilities were very much spread out over a large distance. There are several picturesque large lakes on the site with boats and fishing going on, but the whole park seems like a strip that you have to drive from one end to the other of. The safari park and 'theme park' as it is sold, are more than a comfortable walking distance away from your accommodation - we drove there however a boat and a road-train are on site to take you there. We felt that there were too many tents in close proximity with several creating a lot of noise at night (which wasn't addressed by staff) and also meant that you didn't have your own private space, with footballs coming into the tent and people frequently playing badminton and the like right in front of the decking of your safari tent, which also had a dirt road/path about a metre from the front with cars/people frequently passing. We have stayed in safari tents before and they are much better when there is more land around them, particularly at the front of the tent to give you a bit of privacy/your own space to relax in. The park has enough to do for the children, however, outside of the park, we really struggled to find any attractions/things to do in the area. We felt that the safari park was poor - probably 90% of the animals were different species of deer and all the animals were a fair distance from the cars when we went through. We were also miffed to have to pay a 'park vacation fee' at the 'unlimited free entry' safari park - free entry but no mention that it isn't free exit until you realise you can't get out (there is a barrier exit after you've driven through the safari park which you have to buy a token for to get out). be aware that the fee is 20 euros to vacate the safari park unless you have the pass you get for staying 3 nights or more which gets you a reduction to 5 euros - pretty sure this sort of entrapment wouldn't be legal in the uk. The lakeside theme park (called speelland) was good, it was very much geared towards young children, with many pedal operated-type rides, bouncy castles, trampolines and little or nothing for adults. Within the theme park there were also water slides and pedalos on the lakeside beach, together with a large playground area on the soft white sand - it was a nice place to be. The onsite restaurant was too expensive - we looked at the menu and as an example, scampi and chips was 16.50 euros, drinks also very expensive - we just had 3 small cokes and a bottle of ice tea - it came to about 13 euros - we didn't stay for food so can't comment on the quality. There was only a very small eurocamp presence at the park, which is dominated by dutch holidaymakers - probably 95% were dutch. We stayed 5 nights and wouldn't go back, we don't think it's one of those places you'd go back to year after year, but we would say the park is well worth a visit for a stay of 3 nights - any longer and the prices, lack of things to do in the area and lack of your own space start to become apparent in my opinion, any shorter and you don't get the pass, and without the pass, the safari park and theme park are very expensive, without the safari park and theme park, there isn't much else left. We went to breda, tilburg and eindhoven but weren't bowled over by any of them - eindhoven could easily be twinned with coventry, tilburg was a mass of pricey restaurants and shops and breda was quite a nice little place with shops and pavement cafe's dotted about. We also drove up to amsterdam - it was about an hour away I think - it's worth a look, but even more expensive - it's no place to take the kids! the nicest place we went to in the area by far was mol in belgium - somehow more relaxed and tranquil. As a driving tip if you are moving about a bit in europe - petrol in holland was 1.8euros/litre, belgium 1.5, luxembourg 1.3 - diesel significantly cheaper than petrol in all those countries.
Jonathan from Blackpool (08 August 2014)

We generally enjoyed our holiday at beekse bergen.
Debbie from Stokesley (06 August 2014)

A very good parc for families
Paul from Studley (04 August 2014)

Unfortunately the information eurocamp provide re bringing dogs is very ambiguous with the resultthatwe were nearly packing our bags and leaving the morning after arrival until I found the relevant brochure page stating dogs allowed in some accomodation
Roisin from Frodsham (02 August 2014)

Great park for children loads to do.
Joan from Stowmarket (02 August 2014)

Overall a great holiday. Very clean site with good size pitches. Caravan was nice but bedrooms sizes were very small. More room for a family in the safari tents than the 2 bed caravans. Nothing on the site was in english however we had some very pleasant waiters in the restaurant who were able to translate everything for us and were very helpful and friendly. We would recommend the restaurant over the buffet as we felt it was better value for money. The swimming pools are lovely although better for younger ones than teens. Be aware that the children's club and activities are all in dufch and there is nothing organised for children on the site. While we were there it was mainly english guests in the eurocamp section and in an evening we all sat out together and got to know other families and has inter family sports games etc which was great. There are lots of little play parks dotted about for young children. Our 12 & 14 year old were bored on the site but our 4 year old didn't want to leave. We spent most of our time at speelland as all the kids loved if there and having the extra card was great. As we have friends in tilburg we would probably stay here again.
Beth from Walsall (01 August 2014)

We went to the safari park and a theme park. Only stayed for three days which was a pity as would like to have seen more of holland.
Stephen from Waterlooville. (30 July 2014)

An absolutely fantastic place for children.child friendly, cycle friendly and with every kind of activity on tap. tonnes of entertainment for the children at the camp site and a very well designed safari park to enjoy daily. Who could ask for more? oh a beach you say.. there is a beach that is cleaned and combed daily, with markers so the kids can't go deeper than 80cms and a wealth of activities right there. there are plenty of interesting places nearby to visit and the site is only twp hours from the hook of holland so there is plenty to do. the only thing that let's the place down is the cost and range of food available at restaurants and cafes. Chips and sausages are abundant but you would struggle to find anything vegetarian, for example, let alone something that could count towards your five a day. The vista accommodation is good but bring a sharp knife and some basics. . we would definitely go again.
Sian from Gt Missenden (30 July 2014)

We had a wonderful holiday, loved the tent however my only complaint was we did not get the lovely beds as advertised, just old ones from the normal tents!
Customer 108 from Tyne &Amp; Wear (28 July 2014)

Fantastic park. We only booked 4 nights and we wished we'd booked more. All our kids enjoyed it ages 2, 10 & 15. Parks everywhere and a football pitch close by. Plenty of space to play not overcrowded. The park is in the woods so plenty of shade and some beautiful wildlife, we had a red squirrel appear in front of our caravan everyday. The pool is great especially for toddlers as the toddler pool and its slides was a big hit with our little boy. The safari was fantastic and the highlight of the holiday. We had a giraffe licking leaves off the car. Speeland is great fun as well. This is a water park on the other side of the lake accessed by a boat from the camp, your car or bike. We also visited the war and tank museum at overloon which is about 55 mins away and that was great. There was also a 'go ape' style assault course next door to the museum which looked good but we were too late to go in. Beautiful walks and cycle rides nearby. . will definitely be going back again.
David (27 July 2014)

Stayed 21st july 2014.2 nts.loved beekse bergen. site had plenty to offer!! safari park was brilliant for the kids and speeland although a little packed at peak times was also very good. Could have stayed longer.
Confirmed Holidaymaker (25 July 2014)

Fantastic holiday in a safari tent which we loved ! toilet block was cleaned regularly and was more than adequate . eurocamp couriers were excellent really thoughtful and supportive. Facilities and beekse bergan with the safari park and spelland are out of this world we had an amazing holiday and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it of go back again ourselves
Rachael from Highlands (25 July 2014)

Beekse bergan is a great park for smaller children especially. I don't think the park description in the brochures gives it justice in terms of the safari and fun park. the safari park is also a walk-round zoo, which was fantastic, one of the best i've been to in terms of enclosures, animals, landscaping and play areas. great day out for all the family. the fun park was also a great day for all ages, lots of waterslides, play areas, fun rides, pedalo's, trampolines etc all set on a man made lake side beach. the park itself also had a few 'beaches'. the indoor swimming pool on site was lovely and clean, lots of slides (aimed at young children), really safe for the little ones. there is lots to do on this park during the day, but the evenings let it down. I don't think this park caters for older children/teenagers. there is nothing for teenagers on a eve (our children are 13, 9 & 5). there is a pub/restaurant on site, which has (limited/slow) free wifi. to say we holidayed in the july school holidays, this was dead! we only stayed a few days enroute else where, but my older children were getting bored by this point anyway. would def recommend this park for primary aged children and below. would also recommend this park for camping. would def not recommend for teenagers (or anyone!) who likes a lively holiday! (or even wifi!!).
Kathryn from West Yorkshire (25 July 2014)

Was the most amazing space with so much to do. Still had a very family orientated feel and each member of staff were friendly and helpful .
Emma from Strathaven (22 July 2014)

This campsite is great if you have young children but it is so large and the facilities are not good at all!
Debra from Swindon (20 July 2014)

Although it is a smaller site there was always somethingto do.
Sharon from Glasgow (19 July 2014)

Fantastic holiday, great for families and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Andrew from Turriff (17 July 2014)

Great site
David (11 May 2014)

Really wonderful resort with amazing value due to extras card giving free entrance to a variety of quality attractions. It rained a lot but we still had so much fun.
Keith from Hastings (28 September 2013)

Great holiday but poor weather but of course that is not the fault of eurocamp
Peter from Bugden (23 September 2013)

Very good, abit pricey for food and drink in the park, facilities good, shame that there's nothing in english
Mark from Scunthorpe (14 September 2013)

Very spacious park set round huge lake with loads of waterfowl. . excellent safari park right next door
Rp from Gravesend (09 September 2013)

We had a fantastic holiday loved the parc and all its amenities. Very child friendly (2yr old twins). pool was clean and had ample changing facilities.
Angela from Manchester (08 September 2013)

We were only at the park for two nights but it was great and we didn't need to leave the site.
Richard from Isleworth (03 September 2013)

A great place for a family holiday. There was plenty for all the family to do - we have an 11 year old daughter and a 16 year old son (not always the easiest ages to please but this parc did!) we went to the safari parc a couple of times, spent loads of time in the pool on the site and the aquafun park which was further away but included in the extra card. We visited breda and gouda, both short drives away and worth the visit. We also made use of the bike hire on the site - even a beginner scaredy-cat rider like my wife can feel safe cycling in holland! a really friendly, relaxed place. We had a great holiday.
Gary from East Cowes, Isle Of Wight (31 August 2013)

On the whole an excellent holiday, the eurocamp staff were very helpful, although the eurocamp recieption could of been a proper building rather than a tent! the campsite has everything you need and if you stay for 3 nights or more you get an extra card witch entitles you to free entry to 6 places, a theme park, safari park, zoo and a really good fun pool. The only small gripe would be the caravan layout wasnt the best, a bit short on space, we had a 3 bed sunlight. All in all a good holiday had by all. I would recommend this parc to families. Also the last week of august is a great time to go as the dutch children are back at school so the parks are quite empty and you can get on everything.
Brett from Leighton Buzzard (31 August 2013)

Excellent for families. Great facilities, safe and clean.
Catriona from Sussex (30 August 2013)

Excellent holiday accommodation, perhaps a little more room in the double bedroom would have made it easier to move around.
Beryl from Saltburn By The Sea (30 August 2013)

The most relaxing holiday we've had for years, really enjoyed ourselves.
Christopher (29 August 2013)

Fantastic holiday, great site, great facilities..so much for the children to do..highly recommended.
Cristy from Liverpool (29 August 2013)

Absolutely loved it, a beautiful place for a family holiday
Nina (28 August 2013)

This parc was excellent. It felt really calm and peaceful and our eurocamp caravan was a vast improvement on the caravan we had at the previous campsite (with a different operator). our only frustration was that everything was too spread out, to get to speelland was too far to walk with the children, and the safari park even further. to get to any nearby towns was a definate car ride as it was too dangerous to go out on bikes as the road was such a busy main road straight away. the previous campsite had loads within walking/cycling distance where you felt like you'd really experienced holland (not just the campsite).
Kirsty from Leeds (26 August 2013)

Huge site and great for kids to go off cycling and playing. Holland is excellent for cycling and the people are friendly and speak good english. Stayed in a safari tent, which was better than expected. Free passes for safari park, spelland and sportiom is fantastic. Only bad points are: huge festivals on park (we just missed a techno music festival with 50,000 people) so check before you book. A little noisy at night as we were close to a toilet block. It hasn't put us off though and we hope to return soon.
Andrew (26 August 2013)

Our family holiday was spoilt by the decibel festival. For 3/4 days prior to the event there were vehicles and tcrew setting up the event and then we endured the first night of the 3 day event. It was 150m from our caravan, went on all night and woke me at 8am the next morning. There were an additional 15000 people on site for the event who took over the site. We left a day early due to the noise, rubbish and over crowding. Apart from this event, the site is good for families, safari park is worth visiting and the 'play' park (speeland) is in need of updating but still good for younger children. The park is big and should have been quiet, avoid the august decibel festival, it's on the park not adjacent to it and takes over the place.
Rick from Nottingham (21 August 2013)

Overall the holiday, accomodation and park was fantastic, the thing that let it all down was the techno festival nearby. Although we did receive a small warning about the festival taking place, it wasn't until we arrived on site that we were made fully aware of the enormity and close proximity of the event. . . to have the main event 'across the lake' was almost bearable, the pre-event venue on the friday night was at most 50m away from eurocamp's plot. This was not acceptable. . we discovered to our shock on the friday lunchtime, the camp facilities, were either closing or having reduced opening hours. . we also discovered that the whole park had now been booked out for festival goers and not families, the only exception to this was eurocamp's chalets. . we have lodged a complaint regarding this. . however, we cannot fault the facilities, the location, eurocamp staff (who in exceptionally difficult circumstances kept festival campers off the eurocamp plot) and accomodation.
Sandy from New Romney (18 August 2013)

Nice area & great weather
Andrew from Bristol (18 August 2013)

This is a fantastic parc, particularly if you have children. the access to the safari parc and speel land is wonderful - even if you just fancy having a coffee with the tigers one morning! it is highly recommended that you either take or hire bikes (very reasonable at the parc) as it is so easy to get around. it is a dynamic place, very european but never feels too busy.
Rachel from Whitley Bay (14 August 2013)

We had a great time apart from the mosquitoes
Sean from Burgess Hill (09 August 2013)

Had a lovely holiday. We felt that the couriers had very little information about the netherlands. We have visited the netherlands on many occasions and felt that there was minimal information about what was available off site. This is particilarly useful when the weather is changable as the site has little entertainment for a rainy day.
Sara from Bolton (02 August 2013)

It was a perfect holiday, with three children under 10, there were so many things for them to do. The accommodation was clean and had everything we needed. We especially loved the decking area, complete with outdoor furniture and bbq, which we used every night. The whole parc was relaxed and friendly and we would go back in a flash and stay for longer.
Christine (01 August 2013)

We had a wonderful time, the site is excellent, eurocamp lodges are very close to all the main amenities (shop, pool, restaurant etc). the drive from england via eurotunnel is very easy and straight forward. . . eurocamp couriers were very friendly and happy to help with any queires. . the free access to the safari park and speelland are a must. . we took two young boys aged 6 and 4 and they had a brilliant time.
Carl from Cambridge (27 Jul 2013)

The couriers made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to chat to us. the parc was really great for kids but all the night entertainment was in dutch so a tiny bit disappointed.
Nicola from East Lothian (25 Jul 2013)

The cabin was nice but it became very hot. Air condition would be nice.
Michael from Odense (24 Jul 2013)

Amazing parc, great reps fantastic accommodation and superb value
Adam from Norfolk (22 Jul 2013)

This parc has excellent facilities; the only thing missing perhaps was outdoor swimming pool.
Craig from Inverurie (21 Jul 2013)

We had a fantastic time - excellent spot for the tent (not too busy, but close enough to facilities - and would happily have stayed longer.
Sally from Glasgow (19 Jul 2013)

Nice tents, but a few more accesories like a table cloth and lampshades the bad amateur lightning in the tent ruins a lot of the ambiance that could easily created in these tents
Mikael from Birkeroed (16 Jul 2013)

Fabulous family holiday holiday park for all ages. Our children aged 2, 8 and 10 loved the waterpark, swimming pools, beach and play areas. We also hired bikes and cycled everywhere. Our only minor complaints were the poor insect screens on windows that failed to keep the mozzies out.
Ailsa from Linlithgow (16 Jul 2013)

The safari camp and speeland where fantastic and the transport links to and from the site to them was good. The zoo was amazing and a 40 minute drive away but free entry so was well worth going, the on site pool was good and open till 8pm everyday. We went to sportium which was also free and a 30 minute drive away but also worth going as was a brilliant tropical pool. The site was situated in a good place and tilburg which is nearby was good for shopping. Overall a fantastic holiday which catered for all my children aged 11, 7 and 3
Kirstie from Huddersfield (02 Jul 2013)

Beautiful holiday! will come again next year!
Sandra from Beekse Bergen (24 Jun 2013)

Fantastic holiday would definitely consider another eurocamp holiday! safari tents are great!
