The parc is located in a beautiful area of the pyrenees, great access to nearby mountains for hiking and cycling
Mark from Chesterfield (06 September 2015)

The eurocamp rep charlie was extremely pleasant and helpful offering local knowledge and experience to help us decide on walks near gavarnie invaluable in the limited time we had in the area .the walks from the col du tente both to the pic du tente and to the port de boucharo were excellent.
Customer 2 from Greater London (02 September 2015)

Lovely camp, nice mountain lodge accommodation which worked well for us as a family with older children having two bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. ten minute walk or two minute drive to carrefour supermarket in the village makes it convenient and easy to self cater. choice of two pools plus an indoor means you can avoid the busy one with slides if not your thing. reception sell a few shopping items and you can pre order bread but really with the village so close it's not a problem that they don't sell more. great communal shower/loo block for campers plus on site laundry costs 4 euros to use. on site takeaway but we didn't use as it was the end of season and closed shortly after we arrived. a really nice, peaceful site with great views, very clean and perfect location. eurocamp reps tess and charlie were very friendly and helpful and keep things running incredibly smoothly which meant our arrival in the early hours went without a hitch.
Tracy from Bristol (02 September 2015)

The caravan should have had a/c. The supplied linen was poor. The steps were of inferior quality and should of had hand rails.fa
Lesley from Rhydlewis (01 September 2015)

We enjoyed a good holiday as grandparents with 3 young children aged 7, 2 and 6 months. the site was safe and the children enjoyed the facilities. the only drawback was the failure of the free wi-fi to operate anywhere other than at the site's reception. As soon as we moved away from that area the signal disappeared resulting in us having to purchase expensive data download packages from our network providers.
Peter from Stockton-On-Tees (30 August 2015)

Beautiful surroundings and incredibly helpful couriers - thank you for an amazing holiday.
Helen from Ivybridge (30 August 2015)

Loved location nr pretty town luz st saveur, ideal base for exploring area.great choice of pools and good slides.
Alan from Sheffield (29 August 2015)

4 nights at a quiet site in stunning surroundings. First experience of a safari tent - would certainly consider it again!
Roger from Bridgend (28 August 2015)

Overall a lovely small park, great location, but unpredictable weather
Mehmet from London (26 August 2015)

This part is located in a lovely part of france and the local area offers plenty to do even if it is raining. It is a relatively small part but quiet and well organised. . unlike other parks it doesn't have a proper restaurant on site and their grocery shop, isn't really a shop (apart from milk, butter and pasta) there isn't much you can buy there. . great holiday and we would definitely recommend!
Alessandra (25 August 2015)

Enjoyed staying at this parc with eurocamp
Confirmed Holidaymaker (23 August 2015)

A beautiful location in the pyrenees and near the lovely town of luz st sauveur in walking distance from the site. Children loved the slides and the pool. Our second time at this camp as we loved the log cabins.
Claire (23 August 2015)

Fantastic few days at luz
Ben from Plymouth (22 August 2015)

Our first visit to this lovely, small campsite in a wonderful setting.great if you like walking, downhill mountain biking and cycling.on the campsite you can order your bread and croissants for each morning and there is a small take away each evening.a small walk up hill from the campsite are some tennis courts if you want to play tennis. The col de tourmolet is just up the road if you would like to try cycling up - like the tour de france !. the campsite is near to cauterets which is a lovely town and has a great market on a friday.my son (17yrs) loved the bike parc at cauterets and enjoyed his 3 days of downhill mountain biking. In luz st sauveur there was a great night market on the friday night. My daughter loved the pools at the campsite (indoor and outdoor) and we both loved the luzea spa in luz st sauveur. Point d' espangne is amazing and well worth a visit - take a picnic and lunch next to the lac de gaube. We also visited pic du ger at lourdes - we took the fennicular up and walked down which was lovely (3/4 hour walk). we stayed for a week which wasn't enough to do everything we wanted to do - will stay for 2 weeks next time !. charlie the eurocamp courier was really helpful and friendly.
Tarina from Cornwall (22 August 2015)

A great little parc in the most beautiful region! only the absolute essentials on sale at reception but supermarkets are 5 minutes' walk away in the lovely little town/village and you can order your croissants and baguettes for the following day at reception. This is a brilliant base for exploring the pyrenees. Breathtaking scenery around every corner. We had a fabulous 4-night stay in a huge safari tent. The middle day was thunderstorm-filled but it really didn't matter. We were comfortable and dry with loads of space.
Abigail from Warrington (20 August 2015)

Lovely parc with wonderful views. liked the pool complex
Leisa from Somerset (20 August 2015)

Lovely clean and friendly site with good facilities in a beautiful setting. we had lots of help from charlie one of the eurocamp couriers, and he couldn't have been more helpful, would definitely recommend, especially if you enjoy the outdoors.
Cathy from Devon (19 August 2015)

Lovely small , quiet park in a beautiful setting with lots to do in the local area. the children loved the water slides. the eurocamp couriers were extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. the mountain lodges were superb although you could book the same accommodation through the campsite directly for much less money.
Frances from Farnham (19 August 2015)

Great site, great scenery, site a bit lacking in amenities but made up by the proximity of the super town. We plan to go again!
Peter from Eastbourne (17 August 2015)

Helpful and friendly eurocamp courier with excellent knowledge of local area to advise us where to visit. Mountain lodge clean and comfortable. The parc was perfectly situated and I would return.
Jennifer from Preston (17 August 2015)

Fantastic area, with loads to do and the town of luz st sauveur was fab. la tasca is well worth an evening out and is run by an english couple. the white water rafting arranged by the campsite was brilliant, as was pic du midi and cauterets. . the couriers however did very little to assist us during our stay. the accommodation was clean, but we rarely saw the reps and when we did ask for assistance were told they couldn't help as she didn't speak french!
Julia from Cheltenham (15 August 2015)

What a fantastic location, ideal for exploring the central pyrenees. a lot to do and see both for the adventurous and the not so fit !.
David from Oxford (11 August 2015)

We were only there for three nights and two days but overall it was enjoyable. The unpredictable thunderstorm weather which spoilt one day completely did make the experience less enjoyable that it otherwise would have been. The surrounding area was beautiful.
Clare from Waterlooville (10 August 2015)

An interesting part of france, and a lovely stay - glad we made the effort to head out this way. . this was the first time we had stayed in a safari tent and it was brilliant - would recommend for a bit of extra adventure!. . the tent was tested too - we had two days of almost continuous thunderstorms. quite scarey but the tent did its job and everything stayed bone-dry. we appreciated the wooden flooring, and also the heating (as it got quite chilly when the storms rolled in, even in august). . the area itself is excellent for exploring - shame we didn't see more of the mountains due to the weather - we tried the caves near lourdes instead. (on the second rainy day we started running out of places to see and resorted to board games and swimming in the indoor pool.). . little one made loads of friends on the children's play area - a safe area to play while we were washing up in the nearby facilities. . this is a friendly and attractive site - breath-taking views of the jagged peaks all around. the site is let down only by the main road which runs alongside the length of the site - we noticed noise from this more than we thought, and it did detract a bit from the "big sky, away from it all" feel of being in the mountains.
Michael from Chorley (06 August 2015)

Great parc in a fantastic location. Would not hesitate to go back. charlie and tess the eurocamp couriers are fantastic, full of useful local knowledge !
Julie from Wootton Bassett (03 August 2015)

Lovely holiday with lots to do and beautiful surroundings.
Naomi from Harrogate (31 July 2015)

Great base to explore the area. Small friendly parc tgat made it easy and relaxing for us.
Steven from Fareham (29 July 2015)

The setting of the site was fantastic with lovely views. enjoyed being in walking distance of the town. lots to do in the area. liked the immediacy of the big hill climbs for cycling. loved the area.
Tim from Portishead (27 July 2015)

Fantastic parc - very quiet, stunning views, we had glorious weather too.. 31 degrees most days. lovely village close by. Fantastic cycling routes. Great pools considering size of parc. We will definately return
Nicola from Stafford (25 July 2015)

Great holiday for outdoor activities and loads of fresh mountain air!.
Jan from Stonehaven (24 July 2015)

Enjoyable few days in a small, quiet, family-friendly campsite. The indoor pool was particularly good on a very hot day.
Jane (06 July 2015)

Wonderful area and superb site.
Ab (30 June 2015)

Great couriers, lovely parc, early july so quite quiet. Great weather, great countryside.
Susan from Scotland (29 June 2015)

To many flies!g
F.J from South Africa. (29 June 2015)

We had a great time at airotel pyrenees. It is in a beautiful region and a short walk from the local town.
Dexter from Settle (28 June 2015)

This is the second time I have been to this site. It is a good central location for the things I wanted to see. Col du tourmalet, col d'aubisque, luz ardiden, hautacam, col d'aspin and gavarnie. It's a nice friendly, clean site close to the town for all the shops etc.
Dominic from Chester (27 June 2015)

What a fantastic position for a campsite. walking distance of lux st sauveur and easy reach of the winding pyrenees roads and of course lourdes. the campsite its self is very regimented and gives little privacy. But what it lacks in privacy it makes up with its friendliness and helpfulness of the staff on the campsite. there was a lot of road noise which goes on all night and with the hot weather was made worse by having the bedroom window open. the journey to this site was easy and beautiful. The road whilst windy is at least wide enough for two vehicles to pass. Facilities on the site are adequate to the size of the parc and kept spotlessly clean.
Jean from Warsop (27 June 2015)

We found out when on the site that we could have had an airhotel similar mobile for 208 euro per week (charge for 2people)which was nearly half the euro camp price. There were around 6 to 7 couples on their own at eurocamp mobiles. I think you should consider accommodation for the growing 55plus market - we certainly would hope to spend several weeks per year on retirement going to sites in france. Personally I would love ajungle jim type tent with proper bed and chemical toilet so you don't have to go out during the night to the toilet block
Louise (25 June 2015)

The accommodation at airotel was really clean but we had to ask for a coffee press. the courier was concerned about the safety of the cheap one provided. we appreciated the friendliness and efficiency of both of the couriers
Richard from Norwich (20 June 2015)

The thing that stood out the most about the holiday wa the huge number of flies in the accommodation which were made eating and sleeping difficult. . the outdoor pools with slides which the children were looking forward to the most were unexpectedly closed, I don't recall any indication when I booked the holiday last year. . overall the children didn't enjoy it and as a direct result of this the adults didn't either. .
Steven from London (16 June 2015)

Fantastic holiday! lots of flies in the tent but otherwise perfect.
Amelia (10 June 2015)

Had a great holiday at airotel pyrenees
Alistair from Inverness (09 June 2015)

Wonderful setting in a pyranean valley, within walking distance of the town and its shops and restaurants, but for us the highlight was the proximity of the high mountains. Great walking, pleasant little campsite, though limited facilities. Indoor pool open but outdoor ones closed till mid june.
Maggie from Frome (08 June 2015)

Great stay in great location
Sergey (31 May 2015)

We were very disappointed as there was no wifi facility in le chateau des marais camp.staff could not sort it.so we could not plan our trip and my little boy unhappy.when we went to our 2nd camp at 18.30 (airotel pyrenees ) there was no staff but there was a notice but didnt say where the key was.office was closed and only tent was open where I found my notice .wifi didnt work there so couldnt plan anything so we decided to amend holiday. In airotel outdoor pool was closed ( no water .) all the gym equipments broken .we were disappointed and wanted to amend our holiday to la bien assise camp in calais.when I arrived here I bought wifi facility for one hour I paid £ 2.00 .i tried to connect it but didnt work in my accommodation .i went back to office after 2 hours and said to receptionist that it does not work and she said yes because of the trees in that particular area wifi doesn't work .so if they knew it why theysold me wifi . I am very disappointed and I dont think I am going book euro camp again.
Priyanka from Bracknell (31 May 2015)

We always return to this campsite every year because it is the best site we have been to.
Marilyn from Kent (17 May 2015)

Very pretty parc in a stunning location. Enjoyed using the indoor pool, although limited facilities on site. Plenty to see in the local area. Would love to return.
Nathan from Toulouse (11 May 2015)

Loved the area
Philip from Harlow (11 May 2015)

Scenery out of this world. Very enjoyable week. Still lots that we did not see so may have another week sometime.
Noel from Norwich (15 September 2014)

Excellent. Exceeded our expectations for location and site
Juliet from Beckenham (12 September 2014)

Nice base to tour the famous mountains of the tour de france
Michael (11 September 2014)

Great destination, lovely small family friendly parc. Definitely worth going to.
Martin from Malvern (31 August 2014)

Overall we enjoyed our stay at airotel pyrenees despite the poor weather. The eurocamp couriers tess & charlie were the best we have ever had. They were brilliant and so helpful when we decided to change our holiday plans. We stayed in a safari tent which was immaculate and in a good location. The site was a little disappointing as the main shower block is mixed and enclosed so you have everything from toilets, laundry, washing dishes and showers all under one roof which meant at times it was quite fragrant and not all that clean !!! however if you venture up to the shower block behind reception this is much better.due to the bad weather the outdoor pools were very cold and in indoor pool is warm but heavily chlorinated (all pools are very small). when the sun finally came out the mountains looked amazing, its just unfortunate for us this was only for one day.
Carol from Greatham (30 August 2014)

This is a nice park in a gorgeous area.
Susan from Leeds (30 August 2014)

Really enjoyed this holiday, park was good and scenery breathtaking.
Steve from Worcester (27 August 2014)

Excellent time at this site - we want to come back!
Lois from Kirkby Stephen (25 August 2014)

The lodge and the waterslide were awesome.
Lucy from France (25 August 2014)

A small campsite with really great facilities, but a bit quiet for the teens we brought with us. Ideally placed for exploring the sites of the pyrenees.
Sally (24 August 2014)

Loved the safari tent.
Jan (24 August 2014)

This was our first time in the mountains in summer. We were looking for something different with plenty to do which is exactly what we got. Overall a wonderful experience which ended too soon.
Justine from Guernsey (23 August 2014)

Overall the holiday was great. Good location helpful couriers lots to see and do around the location, fantastic views
Maria from Ascot (23 August 2014)

This campsite suited us better. Clean facilities. Very helpful reception with info on area. Lots of key activities arranged from site. Saved money and time. Couriers very friendly and knowledgable on local area. Euro amp reception tent well set up with local maps, useful info on area, great games/ activities on offer.
Catherinee (21 August 2014)

Excellent.
Karen (21 August 2014)

I do a lot of cycling so this park is perfect for me. Park has everything myself and family require.
Steven from Whitley Bay (19 August 2014)

I chose this site for the challenging cycling opportunities in the vicinity and was not disappointed.
Patrick (17 August 2014)

Would highly recommend this parc for anyone who enjoys walking , cycling , and the outdoor life.
Eamonn from Belfast (15 August 2014)

Overall holiday was good.
Anna from N Ireland (14 August 2014)

Great couries nothing to much trouble very helpful the parc was good for families with younger children, older kids/ teenagers will find it to quiet and boring. Small pools to lounge around and a limited choice in the camp shop evening takeaway. Mixed sex toilet and shower blocks safari tent was lovely very cosy in the heavy rain storms which were frequent. Overall I would reccomend this site for familys with younger kids only plenty to do off camp walking cycling etc. Great couriers highly reccomend tess and charlie
Simon from Pontypool (14 August 2014)

Fantastic setting and camp site was very nice and friendly. .
Heffernans from Oxford (13 August 2014)

We had a fantastic time in the pyrenees and really liked the parc. We'd definitely recommend it to other campers.
Chris from Billericay (12 August 2014)

Fantastic location surrounded by snow capped mountains with access directly from the campsite, good local shops for all needs in luz.
Duncan from Faversham (11 August 2014)

We had a great time and all the arrangements went well. The site was good and the couriers were knowledge. There were a few niggles which we were disappointed with.
Customer 72 (05 August 2014)

Excellent holiday in an amazing location.
Jason from West Molesey (01 August 2014)

We're a family of 3 with a boy of 16. A fabulous 7 day holiday! great weather, most days we had glorious sunshine, we only had a couple of thunder storms and a rainy morning which is not bad for the mountains! it was our first time in the spacious and well equipped safari tent having stayed in mobile homes on other eurocamp sites. The beds are wider and more comfortable than those in the mobile homes. . . this is a lovely park right in the heart of the pyrenees and ideal for visiting the area. At the end of a hot day walking in the mountains it was lovely to swim and relax in the pool (without chutes). it doesn't matter that the camp shop is small as there is a carrefour about 10 minute walk down the road. charlie and tess, the eurocamp couriers are great, they were very helpful but never intrusive. . . we enjoyed our meal at hotel de londres and pizzas at chez christine both in luz st sauveur but we ate "in" the rest of our stay. . if you get a chance, try white water rafting and canyoning with the bureau de guides in luz st sauveur. It was great fun and we had a fabulous time going down the gave de pau with other families in rafts, kayaks with the fun-loving guides. The high ropes at chlorofil were testing but most enjoyable too. . the walk to cirque de gavarnie to the bottom of the cascade is magnificent (you'll need money for the parking 4 euros). we were lucky enough to see marmots playing on another fabulous walk through summer pastures from the lac de gloriettes (near gedre) along the gave d'estaube. . . we enjoyed the grottes de betharram - well worth the drive.
Beverly from Near Great Missenden (31 July 2014)

Our 12 th ? year, like a second home, would go to other parts of the pyrenees if eurocamp did them. 10 years with kids and now just us,
Customer 75 from Yatton (30 July 2014)

We really loved the pyrenees, a place of outstanding beauty. Our couriers were superb. A lovely quiet camp - needs a bar - that is family friendly. Would recommend to anyone.
Alastair (28 July 2014)

We went to follow the tour de france. It was well worth it my husband and oldest children enjoyed the road cycling in the area. Brilliant!
Maxine from Kendal (26 July 2014)

We arrived, and had no idea the tour de france was going to go past the park! however, tess and charlie told us all about it, and were fantastic. so helpful. site is quiet, with the odd band playing. not far to walk to the town, and a few nice places to eat. lots of places to visit and the pool was quiet, and kids had fun.
Kirsty from Bristol (26 July 2014)

Small but well equipped park close to the stunning mountains of the pyrenees.
Roger from Swansea (25 July 2014)

Fantastic location, great park with very friendly staff.
Liam from Derry (24 July 2014)

This is a fantastic park. set in the most amazing location, right in the heart of the pyrenees, this park is perfect for visiting the area. we spent 8 nights and managed to see a lot (cauterets, col de tourmalet, gavernie, lourdes). our accomodation was ideal for a family of 5 - a mountain lodge which was comfy and well equipped. the pools are perfect - small enough but some good water slides. we were there from 10th july and it was not particularly busy which was a bonus. charlie and tess, the eurocamp couriers were always on hand for advice but not intrusive. there are limited shopping/takeaway facilities on the camp, but the gorgeous wee town of luz is easily within walking distance. this was one of our best holidays !
Jane from Selkirk (24 July 2014)

Charlie and tess were brilliant and the safari tent was excellent. Lovely touches with the furniture - great iron beds and wooden tables. Fantastic location too.
Anna from Northampton (23 July 2014)

Great holiday, lots to see and do - the pyrenees is beautiful.
Jeremy from Trimble (20 July 2014)

Had a fantastic holiday at airotel pyrenees. Mountain lodges are lovely, we had a gorgeous view and privacy. Pools are great, and son enjoyed pitch, table tennis and watching world cup with other kids. Friendly campsite and the couriers really helpful too. Shop v basic but short walk to carrefour. Luz st sauveur easy walk and good amenities. Weather was fab, only a couple of cloudy days.
Dawn from Glasgow (20 July 2014)

Great location
Mark from Bridgwater (20 July 2014)

Great family experience with the town only a 10 minute walk. Perfect size park and family friendly for a relaxing stay. Lack of somewhere to have a social drink communally close by or on the park was the only very very minor disappointment. It would have been nice to sit on the terrace with a drink while the kids enjoyed the disco.
Michele from Bristol (18 July 2014)

Lovely small site. Pools were small and not really suitable for teens who want to dive!! but great for wee kids. Well kept site, very helpful reception staff. Stayed in a 3 bed/2bath chalet which was lovely. Lovely mountain drives! stayed at this site in order to visit lourdes which is just 30k away.
Audrey (11 July 2014)

It's a pity thre is no bar on the site, as this would provide a central focus and more atmosphere. All clean and tidy, the lodges are closer together than appear to be in your brochure, and the walk ways appear to go across the gardens. Lovely having the dishwaher and heated floor for those cold nights.
Anne from Kent (11 July 2014)

Fantastic place for a holiday. We were only there for four night so the reps charlie and tess gave us the best bits to go and see. A fantastic service! we'll definitely be back :)
Avril from Irvine (11 July 2014)

Great scenery, weather pretty good for mountains.
Adrian from Nr Stafford (29 June 2014)

It is very quite site in june which is exactly how we like it. Only downside was that even at the end of june there was not even a basic takeaway open on site.
Tam from Edinburgh (29 June 2014)

A little disappointed by poor weather which probably highlighted very limited on-site facilities eg no bar or restaurant, no shop. . couriers very good and helpful
Eric from Ulverston (29 June 2014)

Lovely quite small site providing excellent base for cycling holiday. Excellent couriers on hand to help with any issues you have.
Graham from Wokingham (28 June 2014)

Great site in a super location.
Elizabeth from Harrogate (19 September 2013)

Excellent venue for sightseeing although park has limited facilities.
Christian from Macclesfield (15 September 2013)

We had a fabulous holiday , the views and scenery were amazing, the local area was lovely , we would definately visit the pyrenees again
Karen from Norwich (14 September 2013)

Brilliant site very near town which has great bars and restaurants. Scenery wonderful, we just loved it
William from Sittingbourne (09 September 2013)

Conveniently positioned campsite for reaching local town and main local beauty spots.
Wendy from Bromsgrove (05 September 2013)

Great base for a holiday if you like the outdoors, hiking and beauuiful scenery - it really is a spectacular region. We only managed to do a small amout of all the things that are on offer in the area. The park was great for the kids with lots to do. . the park is in a village that has a good supermarket, plenty of shops and bars / restaurants yet is still very much a french village feel. . we will definitely go back.
Mark from Southwell (02 September 2013)

Although the parc was lovely and in a beautiful spot and very clean and well-maintained I was disappointed to find that instructions for arrival were not clear on the email confirmation - although I printed it out I didn't realise that there were set check-in times and when I read this (in the car en-route to the parc) I realised there was no telephone number for the parc on there, only the uk office (which was closed). therefore I couldn't let the parc know that we wouldn't be arriving until around midnight. when we arrived there was nothing near the barrier to say what to do and so my husband and son rang on the reception which awoke the security officer (who wasn't happy) who told them to go to the eurocamp tent. there were instructions here about how to get to our tent but it would have been nice if these had been put somewhere more obvious ie near the reception. when we got to the tent the beds had yet to be made up (which when we arrived late at campsites in years gone by the couriers had kindly made them up for us). I would have thought that for the extortionate rate of the linen/duvet hire this could have been done. there was also nothing about check-out time anywhere and we were awoken around 10am to be told that check-out was actually 10am! the couriers allowed us to have an extra hour which was kind but I do think eurocamps should be in line with other european hotel and holiday establishments and have a check-out time of 12 midday.
Heather from Great Missenden (01 September 2013)

Good
Kerry from Bath (29 August 2013)

A lovely campsite, small friendly and authentic. The mountain views from our tent were amazing to wake up to in the morning. We enjoyed the sunny morning position to enjoy our breakfast. Couriers were the most knowledgable regarding the area and what to do, we have come across with eurocamp. Although we did feel like we had been told off when we arrived later than they expected us to do. We did come across a rat in the tent on our last day, we had read this in other reviews, but it did only happen the once, in the countryside I suppose this is only to be expected. All in all a great holiday, and would highly recommend this park.
Paula from Llanbedr (26 August 2013)

Lovely campsite in the heart of the pyrenees. So much to do and see in the surrounding area make sure you stay here enough days to give yourself time to enjoy the parc too.
Caroline from Welwyn (25 August 2013)

Brilliant holiday. Spectacular views and scenery. Lots to see and do within the pyrenees. Would have been nice to have a restaurant within the campsite. The shop was pretty much non existent. other than that the campsite was great. Pools were heated and park fun for the kids. Would recommend the campsite for families who do not like rowdy, loud campsites.
Jeni from Chippenham (20 August 2013)

Met all expectations.
Peter (19 August 2013)

A beautiful scenic site. The facilities were minimal and the rules for the pools quite strict. The view and the lovely town made up for this though and we really enjoyed our stay here.
Customer 106 (16 August 2013)

A lovely campsite in a beautiful location.
David from Leeds (15 August 2013)

We had an excellent welcome, friendly and informative by sonia & pete. The area was great and the park was of a really high standard. A really enjoyable experience.
Brian from La Rochelle (10 August 2013)

Beautiful small friendly campsite
Rachel from Norwich (31 Jul 2013)

Lovely spot, well ordered camp site, wonderful walks and surroundings, both locally and further afield. A great place to be when the rest of w europe is sweltering in heat!
Richard from Aylesbury (31 Jul 2013)

Luz st saveur is a great place central to many local attractions and walks. Eurocamp sit eis small and friendly with good activities for primary and young senior school children
David from Hindhead (30 Jul 2013)

Another over-night stop for us.opted for mountains instead of the beach.location was fantastic and great scenery but you really do need to be in a lodge to benefit from this site.
Mark from Isleworth (27 Jul 2013)

Lovely spot, lots to do, gorgeous mountains and views. great but small swimming pools. However, all clouded by rats living under the floorboards and a toilet block where you can watch men at the urinals. rats are particularly awful. would not stay in a safari tent again.
Alice from Cambridge (27 Jul 2013)

Pete and sonia the 2 couriers were the best couriers we have ever experienced, really helpful friendly and great at their jobs.
Customer 114 (27 Jul 2013)

If you love the mountains, this is the parc for you!
Jan from Stonehaven (23 Jul 2013)

Our accommodation was spotless, the cleanest we've ever had with eurocamp. Would be nice to have a bigger shop on the park site, only available were ice-cream/papers/drinks however large supermarket only 10 min walk. Beautiful location, peace and quiet.
Donna from Galway, Ireland (21 Jul 2013)

Lovely friendly couriers immaculate caravan, unfortunately the parc folks didn't cut the grass by us so we got wet all the time as the grass was too long! the parc folk were quite unhelpful regarding internet access also, but eurocamp experience was good.
Dianne from Stonehaven (17 Jul 2013)

Superb
Naveed from Glasgow (16 Jul 2013)

Keycamp reps, pete & sonia were wonderful, full of local knowledge and enthusiasm. a great asset who I hope you appreciate.
Brian from Bushey (06 Jul 2013)

Excellent site. Details accurate. Severe flooding in area week before had only a slight impact
Terri &Amp; Paul from Cowbridge (03 Jul 2013)

Chalet lodge accomodation 1st class couple of caravans 2nd class pidgions at chambord left decking very dirty and so noisy in morning
Dawn from Sheffield (30 Jun 2013)

The site was really good. This is the first time I have stopped here. Very handy for going to lourdes and into the mountains. The site is spotless and well worth a visit. Unfortunately there was flooding in luz st saveur village but the campsite was unaffected.
Robert from Bicester (30 Jun 2013)

We arrived the same day as a disastrous flood hit the area. Clearly an extraordinary event. We were in no danger but we saw the damage and felt for the local people who had had their lives and property disrupted. The flooding meant our walking holiday was limited. One comment, it would have been very helpful if the eurocamp hosts had been able to speak french.
Alan from Woodley Berkshire England (30 Jun 2013)

Caravan inventories were incomplete at all locations - couriers did rectify this when asked to do so. Chalet in pyrenees was very good with a good pitch. Biscarosse - the caravan looked clean but it absolutely stank and we had to clean through - the cause may have been the mop which was disgusting and had to be soaked in domestos. In benodet the bed was missing a leg, the fire didn,t work -caravan was a bit smelly and we had to request a new can opener. Overall the quality of your caravans has detiorated since we began using your company, to the point where we will seriously consider another company on our next visit to the continent. The final night at houlgate did exceed expectations and we would consider returning there whether with your company or canvas.
Terry from Neston (27 Jun 2013)

Excellent accommodation and parc in a wonderful setting. unfortunately, you can't influence the weather and we had to leave a day early to ensure we could get out of the valley.
David from Lincoln (25 Jun 2013)

Gorgeous area, good walks even with a toddler in tow becasue we could get up into the amazing mountains easily on chair lifts etc and be in stunning scenery with only the minimal carrying of our boy in the back pack.
Abigail from Inverness (24 Jun 2013)

Excellent holiday, beautiful location , stunning scenery.just what we look for in a holiday.
Dorothy from Consett Co Durham (24 Jun 2013)

Compared with other campsites this was not value for money. I am sending a letter about this site
Ann from Hinckley (23 Jun 2013)

A beautiful part of france
Michael (20 Jun 2013)

We thoroughly enjoyed the holiday despite the weather and difficulties of getting home.
Alan from Bristol (20 Jun 2013)

Stunning location, 20 minute walk to the beautiful town of luz-st-saveur. Lodge was well appointed and good quality with beautiful vistas of the winter ski runs on the adjacent mountains.
David from Alora, Spain (15 Jun 2013)

Sonia the rep was lovely and very helpful when we wanted to change our holiday about at very short notice. we didn't take children but would have been disappointed that all the play areas seem to have been closed down or fenced off, also we thought there was a small shop on site but that seemed to have been demolished and it was quite a walk to the nearest supermarket. Up a very steep hill, again not to much of a problem for us as we are fit enough, just a little niggle as its nice to be able to get at least a pint of milk without having to go hiking for it
Carol from Bognor Regis (30 May 2013)

A great holiday travelling through france and taking in the loire, dordogne and pyrenees.
John from Brighouse, West Yorks (29 May 2013)

The campsite was mostly shut down as was the whole town of luz saint sauveur whilst we were there. the shop was being built so was not open. However the accommodation and location more than made up for this, which was to be expected as we went out of season.
Louise from Stafford (28 May 2013)

Although the weather certainly did not help, we rated this as our least enjoyable eurocamp holiday, out of the 13 we have had, mainly due (apart from the weather) to the conditions on the parc..see below.
William from Coniston (28 May 2013)

Early season so not a lot on site. Good indoor swimming pool. Refurbishing site so no shop and little playground activity for children (<7) when we were there. Overall feeling influenced by unusual disappointing weather experienced. Otherwise some spectacular scenery and walks. Mountain lodge accommodation excellent.
Ken from Shrewsbury (27 May 2013)

The airotel pyrenees holiday camp has a truly sensational location, nestled within one of the most beautiful areas I have ever seen. it was fantastic to get up in the morning and have breakfast out in the most amazing scenery. the safari tent that we stayed in was faultless and the whole family enjoyed staying there. on the down side going so early in the season was a big mistake as almost all of the facilities for entertaining the kids were closed and the weather was hit and miss. we generally found most things to be expensive, from eating out to shopping in the local supermarket. it took a while to get used to the different hours that shops keep (closed for anything up to 4 hours from mid day onwards). as scope to entertain the kids at the campsite was limited we tried to go exploring and visiting local attractions - we would recommend the town of gavarnie which has some some amazing scenery and easy walks. the caves at betharram were worth a look too. the local town was nice but the monday market was far from as spectacular as the literature led us to believe with there being barely 10 stalls. all in all we did enjoy our selves (how could you not in that setting) and would do so even more if we were to go again now that we know what to expect.
Roy from Milford Haven (12 May 2013)

Simple park with no facilities in may which would not appeal to everyone. Road works on adjacent road both noisy and made entrance and exit to the park difficult. Much late snow and ice so several passes still closed and some paths also closed due to avalanches of snow and rocks. Poor weather but we like walking and exploring so we still managed to do and see a lot. Our 3rd or 4th visit to this park as we love the pyrenees. Fridge freezer had no temp. Control, only very cold which froze everything in it!
