Lovely Cottage, well equiped and full of character. Good comfortable beds. We had a perfect holiday. Owner is very friendly and supportive.

A very peaceful location with easy access into the town.Well equipped,would benefit from an oven glove and vegetable knife.

We had a lovely time in spite of appalling weather. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped, although we don't think 4 adults could stay there comfortably. Two adults or two adults with children yes.

The Garden was very secure and our dog loved it

Lovely stay in this beautiful little cottage, set in stunning countryside. Well equipped and very cosy. Quite steep stairs to the bedrooms so probably not suitable for people with mobility difficulties or very young children.

Bit difficult to fined but when we eventually arrived it was so so peaceful, The cottage was comfortable with everything we needed for our week's stay, wish we had booked two weeks instead of one

Excellent cottage with a lovely garden, perfect for a BBQ. Nice walk into Bungay for a drink and something to eat. Nice and clean with loads of character.
You have to walk through one bedroom to get to the other, which wasn't clear on the website when booking. This is not a problem if you are a family with children but something to consider when booking for 3 adults.
We would certainly visit again if just the 2 of us were going.

We would have definitely come again but my husband requires WiFi and although details say WiFi it doesn't exist no signal at all so the cottage is very comfortable the not the WiFi that's why I scored only 8 such a shame

A lovely little cottage close to Bungay. We had a great week staying here, we loved the garden as did our dog Kody. A very relaxing week.

Down a quiet lane about one and a half miles from Bungay this was in a lovely quiet location with views over open fields and a secure garden ideal for dog owners.
The cottage is well equipped and was clean and tidy when we arrived. In the outhouse there was a freezer and a washing machine and also 2 cycles which would be good to use in better weather to explore.
We had poor weather so it was good to have the wood burner when we got back from a day out because by that time the storage heaters had lost their heat.
It was in an ideal location to explore the Suffolk coast and we visited Southwold, Walberswick, Aldeburgh, Dunwich, Thorpeness and Bungay itself is an interesting little town to explore on foot.
The only downside was the fact that mice are living in the cottage walls and were very active during the night! (We reported this to the host on leaving.)

Cosy and comfortable cottage for a Christmas break. The cottage is located about 1.5 miles outside of Bungay, so remote enough for absolute peace and quiet, but still close to amenities. The log burner is lovely and the kitchen is well-equipped - I could Christmas dinner here without any problems. Only aspects to be aware of is the low ceilings and precarious staircase, which requires careful navigation to avoid hitting your head. But you do get used to this and is to be expected in a property of this age - that's the cost of original, character features.
