Comfortable, well equipped, high standard, personal touch eg. Bottle of milk in fridge, bottle of wine. . perfect location, walk into whitstable. Tracy from Maidstone (31 July 2017)
We really enjoyed our stay, a very well appointed flat in a perfect location. Would highly recommend. Jayne from Bicester (08 July 2017)
Very well situated apartment and well equipped with everything you need. lovely welcome pack. Owners nearby if any issues Tracey from Nottingham (24 June 2017)
Very pleasant flat, nice location, sometimes street parking can be a problem. pity the entrance hall and stairways were in need of decorating but the flat was immaculate and lovely welcome pack which was much appreciated. Marie from Latchingdon, Essex (20 May 2017)
A very well equipped, spacious and comfortable apartment. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. The owners have thought of every little thing, including a pint of milk and welcome pack :-) the takeaway menu's also proved very useful! two very little things that stopped me giving an overall 10 - first one purely down to needing better pillows, but that could be a personal thing! second being the entrance hall to the building could do with a bit of tlc - but understand this is used by other tenants for which the owners would have no control. Those first impressions from the entrance hall are soon very much improved upon as entering the apartment. overall, we had a great time in whitstable with lots to see and do and very friendly people Sharon from Southampton (27 February 2017)
The apartment was great and we had a lovely four days , the only reason we would not revisit is that we have other parts of the uk still to see . the owni were lovely people to communicate with . Mel from Dudley (04 February 2017)
Beautiful apartment - every thing you could possibly need having been thought of. . attentive but non-intrusive hosts. Lovely thoughtful welcome pack and card on arrival - will definitely be back. . thank you dave and sue x Michelle from Scottish Highlands (20 January 2017)

Very well equipped and beautifully decorated flat. easy walk to centre of whitstable and to railway station Confirmed Guest (02 November 2016)
The flat was very nice, but let down by the communal area. It was our first trip to kent and we won't be rushing back. Confirmed Guest (29 October 2016)
Extremely comfortable and well equipped apartment. We really enjoyed our stay, and the extra touches left by the owners were much appreciated. Sue from Floirac , France (21 October 2016)
1)this needs to be made clear its not a cottage. . 2) its flat or apartment only found out when owner emailed me. . . 3)really nice place though . Graham from Herts (15 October 2016)
Great place near to both town and beach. Nice touch with welcome pack to add to an already very well equipped apartment. Very comfortable and clean. Would recommend to anyone. Dave from Bristol (16 September 2016)
A very lovely and cosy apartment! the beach within two minutes walk was absolutely awesome. Mr. & mrs. Fewkes were so friendly and their welcome gift delicious!. supermarket, petrol station, pubs, retaurants and local shops are nearby and as charming as the whole town. Furthermore whitstable is perfectly located for exploring kent and its beautiful coasts, picturesque places and affectionate habitants. . I would come back anytime and recommend 'the broomes' to anyone searching for a homelike place to stay. Nevin from Mannheim (09 September 2016)
We enjoyed our stay very clean with all things we needed. Personal welcome and gifts were very nice Beryl from Durham (27 August 2016)
"when you brexit us, we come to visit you!" spent a stressless fortnight in that cosy apparment "the brooms". enjoyed the warm welcome, liked he charming 5-minutes walk to the beach, mrs. And mr. Fewkes' hospitable and unobtrusive attitude. Had a agreable stay at whitstable, that cute little costal place. Rahel & eckhard, cologne, germany Schoeller from The Broomes (13 August 2016)
Perfect place to stay' loved the apartment and the welcome pack was lovely just want we needed after a long trip down . Trevor from Burnley Lancashire (30 July 2016)
We had a wonderful week in whitstable - so lucky with the weather!. we found the flat attractive and welcoming and the owners very friendly and helpful. Small negatives are the stairwell leading to the flat [out of the owner's control]. also the bedroom is on the snug side widthways which made it necessary to stand on the bed to open the window. A lovely place to stay - we would definitely recommend it. Margaret from Morden, Surrey (23 July 2016)
A lovely, well appointed apartment on the 1st floor of a victorian house. Immaculately clean with lots of little extras to make your stay more pleasant. We were welcomed with a homemade fruitcake , wine and a bottle of local beer. The harbour and beach is less than a 10 minute walk, as is the town with all it's fantastic shops, restaurants and galleries. The owner was excellent with communication and very helpful when I realised I had made a mistake with my booking dates. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cosy and comfortable flat to anyone who wanted a break in charming whistable. Julia from Cambridge (10 July 2016)
Nice appartment in a good location close to the centre of whistable on a busy road. Can be very difficult to park your car outside, we had to park about 200mts up the road but did manage to park outside on a couple of days not a problem for us (to be fair we were informed of this when booking) we would stay here again. David from Leicester (14 May 2016)
A very well equipped and appointed apartment. We would recommend it as a good base to explore the area. Confirmed Guest (16 April 2016)
Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as stairs steep and parking outside a problem only able to park further down road Confirmed Guest (02 April 2016)
This is an outstanding holiday flat well equip and very comfortable, unfortunately the same cannot be applied to the entrance to the flat which is shoddy and dirty and has a slightly unsafe feel when entering. Chris from Bedford (20 February 2016)
Such a warm welcome it was like home from home very comfortable and the little extras were lovely a lot of thought from the owners making the stay very enjoyable Helen from London (12 February 2016)
Lovely flat. Felt very homely, in a nice way. welcome pack was great. . on the downside staying in november we had no control over when the heating went on. The fire in the lounge was very effective and warmed up the room quickly. But the bedroom and bathroom felt cold in the morning. . also no shaver point in the bathroom, so my husband could not recharge his shaver! Confirmed Guest (15 November 2015)
