The barn was very comfortable and clean, and the outside is well set up for dogs, the paddock was so secure. We had a lovely week there and would definitely recommend it and will be booking again. Confirmed Guest from Worcester (12 May 2017)
Lovely barn in ideal position for exploring the cotswolds. Paul from King'S Lynn (28 April 2017)

We had a lovely stay at the barn. It was modern, clean and decorated very well. The owners even left a lovely welcome pack filled with everything you could need. And by that I mean wine and cake! I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone who would like to explore this lovely part of the country. Sarah from Ipswich (17 February 2017)
Loved it will go back again. Lisa from Dudley (03 February 2017)
In a lovely quiet location with shops and pubs just a short drive away. The barn was warm and cosy and the paddock was ideal to let the dogs off for a run. The welcome pack was the best we have ever received. We plan to return next year. Natalie from Ryde (21 January 2017)
The second time we have stayed here. Very comfortable. Owner very friendly, lovely welcome pack. Thank you. Best cottage we have stayed in. Sarah And Jim from Dunstable (12 November 2016)
Lovely friendly owner , great place to stay with dogs. Very clean , well equipped and very comfortable. Beautiful part of the country where dogs are very welcome in tea shops / pubs etc. Rachel from Suffolk (28 October 2016)
We have been to burmington barn on three occasions sadly this time we found the bed too low and I had difficulty getting out of it. Lisa always supplies a welcome pack which is lovely . and enables you to have a drink and some toast or cake before having to go shopping. Carol from Montrose (21 October 2016)
Well laid out, well equipped, wifi a bit spotty, but not a problem as you come away to get away from everyday life. Being disabled found everything just right, front room had plenty of room, tv large screen easy to see, kitchen well laid out, everything to hand, bathroom a good size with bath an shower, bedroom same similar size as front room. Friendly owner, made to feel welcome. Well worth a visit. Have already booked for next year Philip from Wednesbury (08 October 2016)
This is our second visit and the facilities were as good as before. The location is great with easy access to many attractions. Ian from Fordingbridge (02 September 2016)
Our 3rd stay at this property and most likely won't be our last. Lovely clean property, owner lisa most helpful and provides lovely welcome pack at beginning of stay. Property ideally suited to having pet dogs stay with you. Nigel from Birmingham (22 July 2016)
This was our second visit. Lisa is just lovely. Ideal for us and baxter who loved the paddock. The only negative thing was how hot the barn was as we had sunny weather. Despite leaving the curtains shut it became unbearably hot like walking into an oven after a day out. Don't know if anything could be done short of an air conditioning unit and they tend to be horribly noisy Confirmed Guest (15 July 2016)
Our second visit to the barn we enjoyed the stay just as much as our first visit .it is ideal for our dog with the paddock and walks nearby.the hospitality of the owners second to none and is within reach of the main villages .the welcome pack is very good.we have just arrived home and are already planning our next visit. Julie from New Forest (01 July 2016)
Best of the cottages that we have stayed in from your company. Would use again. Bob from Falmouth (24 June 2016)
Once again a wonderful welcome from lisa. It was our second stay and we felt right at home. The barn is perfect for us,all on one level, walk in shower and fully equipt with everything we needed. Thankyou once more to lisa and family,we will be back. John from Liverpool (17 June 2016)
This dog friendly accommodation has moved to the top of our favourites in england. It is immaculately clean, the standard is such that you would never know pets had been there prior to our arrival. The paddock for exercising dogs is perfect and just around the corner. The barn is well equipped with quality items and a luxurious bathroom. . the welcome pack is over and above what would be expected or what we have ever had. The location is a perfect base with lovely places to visit close by - stratford on avon, warwick and bourton on the water to name just a few. Well worth the money paid and we are working out when we can return already. Lynne from Spennymoor (27 May 2016)
It was nice to find a welcome pack, wine eggs, cake, milk & bread were a nice touch. A couple of tea bags/sachets of coffee would have been most welcome. On arrival the cottage appeared clean, but there were stains on the pillow cases & dirty crockery in the cupboards. . the pillows were very flattened and misshapen so we had to purchase a new one. The barn was nice but not comfortable enough for us to go back, I feel the price asked was a little high in retrospect. Sharon from Southampton (19 May 2016)
Lovely cottage, well equipped & clean. This was our second visit. Will be booking again Norman from Herne Bay (13 May 2016)
This was our second visit, loved it as much as the first! dogs had a fab time in the paddock..was lovely to see lisa again, such a friendly host. Will be booking a 3rd holiday soon! Paula from Warrington (06 May 2016)
The barn was larger than we thought. Nice welcome from the owner and the welcome pack was one of the best we have had. Good place for dog walking right from the doorstep and only 20 mins. On foot to shipton on stour where we found all the pubs dog friendly. We took a car journey in to stratford upon avon what an amazing town well worth a visit. Christine from Canterbury (22 April 2016)
We had a lovely comfortable break. The barn was very well equipted and very clean. Sue from Cambridgeshire (15 April 2016)
Very clean property and well equipped. very spacious. Confirmed Guest (04 April 2016)
Thank you lisa! my husband and I had a fantastic stay. Our dog enjoyed the lovely walks in the area with great food in the local pubs. Which also were dog friendly. We can't wait to arrange out next stay. Confirmed Guest (01 April 2016)
The barn was everything we needed, very clean, comfortable, warm and very well equipped.the welcome pack was a nice touch and lisa and family were very friendly.our golden retriever enjoyed the paddock. We would recommend it to anyone wishing to see the cotswolds Gwendoline from Forest Of Dean (21 March 2016)
A very comfortable cottage with good facilities for all our needs including our german shepherd dog. The cottage gave good access to a range of walks and proximity to dog friendly pubs and other eateries. Chris from Wakefield (11 March 2016)
This was the third time we have been here and again was great looking to the next time, we will be back, welcome pack was also great even dog treats plus milk and bread and a cake + lots more Geoff from Dunstable (19 February 2016)
Stayed here whilst working in the area so unfortunately did not get the chance to explore the area. Really nice property. nothing to fault at all. The owner was very pleasant and welcoming would certainly stay again. lovely area and great accommodation highly recommend. Claire from West Yorkshire (12 February 2016)
Loved staying here. Can't fault it. Sophie from Dublin (22 January 2016)
Best cottage for ages. Have been using welcome for many years with most cottages being excellent but burmington offered a little bit more, good location, well laid out and warm welcome. We had a family problem week before we went, found out cottage was vacant rang owner explained situation and she allowed us to use cottage a few days early to help with problem, Philip from Wednesbury (05 December 2015)
Remote location with lovely local walks. easy to settle into, light and clean with good use of space. only disappointment was that the garden for the dogs was not the one in the picture which for some would mean being on lead to get there. we had to because of the neighbours aggressive dog that was often loose. overall would stay again and owner was lovely as were her dogs. Monica from Bucks (24 November 2015)
Nice and clean lovely for nice cosy winter breaks David from Rugby (21 November 2015)
The barn was lovely. modern, but comfortable and spacious. Owner very pleasant and thoughtful, providing us with wine and chocolate cake. Thank you! we had a lovely time. The nearest town is only a mile away, with shops and nice places to eat (although not ideal to walk to, as along a very busy road) and stratford upon avon about 20 minutes away by car. Local people very friendly, and most pubs/restaurants in the area all dog friendly. Sarah from Dunstable (14 November 2015)
This was our second visit to burmington barn and we will be returning in 2016 as long as we can get a week in september. Carol from Brechin (06 November 2015)
Absolutely excellent, this was our second stay at burmington barn and most definitely will not be the last, we have already been looking for next year Geoff from Dunstable (16 October 2015)
We had a great time at the burmington barn and enjoyed the weekend break travelling around the cotswolds. The barn had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The owner was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. . we would definitely recommend it to family and friends, and would look to stay again in the future. Tim from Mansfield (28 September 2015)
The property is bigger than the photographs suggest. It is an excellent holiday cottage, in a peaceful location, with many places to visit in the locality. . the owner provides an excellent welcome pack upon arrival, and provides a really warm welcome. Although the owner lives in the neighbouring house and is very attentive to her customers, she does not intrude, meaning you really do have your own private space. . i've stayed at the property twice now, and have already booked for my third visit! Christopher from Clitheroe (25 September 2015)
A great welcome from the owners.very clean not at all doggy! as well advertised as ideal for holidaying with dogs.lovely central area, and very quiet. Malcolm from Kings Lynn (11 September 2015)
Relaxing holiday. Paddock was wonderful for our dog, who is normally an escape artist, but the paddock contained him. Ideal location for visiting nt sites including hidcote, chastleton, snowshill, upton house etc. Also opposite hidcote is the enchanting kiftsgate, a private garden open to the public. Karen from Little Wenlock (04 September 2015)
Nice clean cottage, handy with the field for the dog and child to run around in. Dawn from Holland (21 August 2015)
Just the best holiday ever! always tricky finding somewhere that's happy to accept dogs - lisa the owner made us all feel so welcome - so friendly & helpful. The barn conversion itself was just perfect - everything you could want/need, lovely welcome pack, a real added bonus. The paddock was great for the dogs to run around in, we are already looking at dates to book again for next year! if you are considering staying here just book it, you won't find better! Paula from Warrington (14 August 2015)
We really enjoyed our stay, would recommend to all, lovely and clean and a wonderful welcome pack, toby and archie (our two westies) loved the paddock. Judith from Preston (31 July 2015)
Absolutely a wonderfull barn conversion ideal paddock for the dog to play. Very hard to find a problem with property. Plus a very nice hostess in mrs ashton already rebooked for 2016 Confirmed Guest from New Forest (26 June 2015)
Thankyou to lisa who looked after us so well. The barn is the best we have stayed in and the location is ideal for exploring the cotswolds. Although we stayed for two weeks we didnt manage to visit all the places we wanted to see, therefore we have booked to return next year and we are so looking forward to our holiday. Liz from Liverpool (12 June 2015)
Lovely place to stay - very clean and comfortable Confirmed Guest (29 May 2015)
Lovely spot. Clean cottage. Nasty foul water smell in kitchen. Much dog noise. Fran from Dunstable (22 May 2015)
Great week. barn was clean and vet comfortable. dogs enjoyed use of the paddock. Mark from Durham (15 May 2015)
Lovely place to relax. Owners very friendly and welcoming. enjoyed the unexpected welcome pack. our friends have booked to stay in october following our recommendations. Pam from Ely (01 May 2015)
On arrival the property and surrounding area was perfect, and we could not pick any faults during our stay. Our holiday was perfect throughout our stay as was the property. Kevin from Derby (17 April 2015)
A fantastic place to stay. Beautifully and thoughtfully converted this barn has to be the nicest we have ever stayed in. Perfect base to explore the surrounding areas and so nice to find somewhere so happy to have the dog come and stay too. We will definitely be back. Jen from London (06 April 2015)
What an excellent place, lovely welcome pack and also from the owner lisa who was very accommodating and friendly, excellent place to take a dog as there was a good place to exercise it Geoffrey from Dunstable (27 February 2015)
+ barn very comfortable in general. . - however, bed-settee in lounge not too comfortable for sitting on any length of time. . + good welcome pack (cake and wine, etc). - could do with a few basics like tea, sugar, condiments, kitchen roll and some soap. . the location is great for walkers, lots of routes from the door. Very quiet village and beautiful surrounding countryside. Sandra from Manchester (13 February 2015)
Lovely cottage, great welcome looking forward to the next visit. Thanks Alexandra from Hemel Hempstead (06 February 2015)
Lisa couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming and the barn was lovely and warm throughout. plenty of space but compact enough to be ideal for me as a disabled/semi-invalid person. really peaceful setting yet so close to shipston it was easy to eat out or get takeaways so it's a proper break. the fully fenced in private patio garden we could let the dog out into was nice but the real bonus was having the big, secure paddock to exercise tilly who thoroughly enjoyed herself. definitely planning to return later in the year. Joyce from Kenilworth (23 January 2015)
I thought that it would be a little more isolated and the kitchen could do with a few more items as it is quite challnging to cook 'big' meal there. buut the place was lovely, the owner was lovely and we would defintely go again. Gert from London (04 January 2015)
Fantastic accommodation, great welcome pack and the owner was really friendly and helpful. The dogs loved the paddock! Lizzie from Pytchley (16 November 2014)
Very relaxing. Owner very friendly. Welcome pack was appreciated. Would definitely recommend to friends Maureen from Cradley Heath (31 October 2014)

We would love to return to burmington barn. ray, bev and jess form lancashire (oct 14). Ray from Lancashire (03 October 2014)
Excellent accommodation that was well equipped and larger than expected. The location is in a very peaceful setting, but with easy access to major traffic routes. Lots to see and do in the area for people of all ages. Christopher from Clitheroe (26 September 2014)
Excellent accommodation. Unfortunately the bed was slightly uncomfortable, but otherwise everything was first class. Lovely welcome pack, much appreciated Sarah from Norfolk (12 September 2014)
Burmington barn was beautiful and in a really lovely spot. Lisa the owner was lovely and had left a welcome pack which was a nice touch. We were in a great location for visiting bourton on the water, stratford and warwick. We would definitely stay again. Thanks for a great week. Shauna from Portsmouth (05 September 2014)

Excellent holiday accommodation. Very clean, modern and spacious, with every facility provided. Very dog friendly. Lisa is a charming and very friendly host and the welcome pack was much appreciated (smashing cake). location within easy reach of the main attractions. A super holiday! Norman from Felixstowe (04 July 2014)
A beautiful location, excellent modern property. Fabulous for a break either with or without dogs, lovely secure location for my dogs to play and run, large enough paddock for them to be tired!the owner was welcoming and had left a lovely cake, bottle of wine, bread, butter, eggs and milk for us :-) there was a nice selection of local information too. We drove 30 minute to wootton wawen and hired a canal boat for the day which was fantastic. All in all a very lovely break and would definately go back againa superb 10 out of 10 property. Just a suggestion, if there was a wood burning stove for those very cold evenings in the winter it would be off the scale! Bonita from Gosport (27 June 2014)
Excellent barn, welcome pack was not expected but lovely surprise took my guide dog who had use of paddock facilities very good and amazing shower! Karen from Norwich (13 June 2014)
A perfect holiday cottage, beautifully presented and very clean. Owner lovely and provided a great welcome package which was much appreciated. Very easy and accessible, like home from home. Amazing little cottage. Owned by a lovely lady. Welcoming. Everything you could need and a stunning location with easy connection. . . will be booming again Andy from Northwest (30 May 2014)
We had a lovely time at burmington barn and the owners were very friendly and helpful, with a lovely welcome pack on arrival. it was very clean and comfortable with everything that you needed. The only thing that it could do with but not a necessity is a clock/radio in the bedroom or a radio in the kitchen so you could listen to music if you wanted. Jane from Bury (26 May 2014)
Well equipped and spacious for the two of us plus dog. Really good position for exploring the north cotswolds. Nigel from Southampton (23 May 2014)
First class accommodation with a superb welcome and welcome pack Graham from Selby (16 May 2014)
We spent a very enjoyable week at burmington barn. the photo's don't really do it justice as it was much nicer and more 'roomy' than we were expecting. ideal for my husband, who is disabled. Lisa and her family are very nice, friendly people. their dog even came and played with ours, which was both unexpected and lovely. The whole area is dog-friendly, many shops allowing them in - even the local bank - so we were told. We would have no hesitation visiting this location again. Lorraine from Wickford, Essex (09 May 2014)
Lovely modern cottage in pristine condition. The owner is extremely friendly and included lots of nice touches such as leaving bread, eggs and milk for us on arrival. . good base for a cotswolds break although there is very little in the village itself. Gareth from Coventry (25 April 2014)
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at burmington barn, it was well equipped and a perfect base for us to visit our family and friends. The owner was lovely and made us very welcome. Our dogs enjoyed themselves too as they had a paddock to run around in. Christine from Armadale (07 April 2014)
Great location, very central for main areas of the cotswolds. Accommodation excellent, met all our needs and more, nothing to much trouble for owners, ideal for taking the family pet Confirmed Purchaser (21 March 2014)
We had the most amazing weekend away in burmington barn. Exactly what we needed to re charge our batteries. lisa couldnt have been friendlier or more helpful. . the barn itself was in a perfect location, and is absolutely stunning. 10 out of 10 for everything, this place is a must for a relaxing weekend away. we will be back.. Leanne from Essex (10 March 2014)
Upon arriving at burmington barn we were greeted by a very polite lisa who gave us the key and told us how the heating worked. We were also greeted with a lemon drizzle cake, wine, butter, bread and eggs, very helpful! the barn is beautiful, modern, clean and tidy with a huge telly, lots of channels and everything we could of possibly needed. The huge bath is a great plus too! the perfect place to stay if you're looking for a relaxing break and a 2 minute drive to shipston for shops and places to eat. 10/10. Erica from Leicester (10 February 2014)
Lovely new accomodation and lisa gave a warm welcome with a bottle of wine and some essentails - and a lovely lemon drizzle cake - thank you. Lee from Worcester (25 November 2013)
