Beautiful, comfortable, quirky and quaint cottage. Surprisingly spacious. Had everything we needed. Lovely village, close to amenities. Very friendly local pub with great food. Highly recommended!

Excellent home from home it had everything you could need at handBVery spacious and a bath to die for !!good communication from hosts information leaflets on all appliances and places to visit etc all available to hand.Definitely on my visit again list highly recommend

We had a lovely holiday and I found this was one of my favourite cottages, it had everything you needed and more, the cottage was clean, well equipped and a good location... The beds were comfortable and nothing was lacking... I would recommend Ashley cottage.

If you like quirky then this is the place for you. Countryside beautiful, interesting places to visit. The bathroom is newly done as is the en suite and are lovely. The beds are very comfortable and there is all you could possibly need for your convenience and entertainment.
However, the place itself seems neglected and unloved. There is too much furniture, the fabric of the building needs repairs (it was built in 1760), there is a pervading smell of damp and the cleaning leaves a lot to be desired. I also feel that the electric arrangements are dangerous. Due to too much furniture the sockets in each room are inaccessible easily and the remedy is too use too many extensions leads. The description on the website said 2 x king size beds when in fact there was only one and the photographs are misleading because it appears they were taken before all the added furniture. We did enjoy our break in Lincolnshire but can’t recommend the property until the shortcomings are attended to. Shame really.
